Resolution 242 is not self-enforcing: Israel is not expected to unilaterally withdraw from territories to fulfill its terms. As a Chapter VI resolution, it requires direct negotiations between Israel and its Arab neighbors. (In contrast, UN resolutions on Iraq were self-enforcing under Chapter VII of the UN Charter, requiring Iraq to withdraw from Kuwait without any negotiations.)

There is no condemnation of Israel's occupation of the territories that the Israel Defense Forces captured in 1967, nor is Israel's occupation of territories defined as "illegal."

While Israel agreed to a full withdrawal in the case of its 1979 peace treaty with Egypt, the Egyptian case is not a precedent for other fronts. True, the Egyptians sought to include a reference in the Camp David Accords that the Egyptian-Israeli Treaty of Peace will constitute the principal basis of future agreements with other Arab states. However, what was finally concluded was an important caveat that limited the Egyptian model to other cases "as appropriate."

Also, in my post yesterday Nov. 7, 2012 after I gave you information on the huge 7.4 quake that hit Guatemala I told you (" more are coming"). Today we witnessed another major earthquake in Canada you see below in red. Knowing the curse that Obama has put the United States under as a result of working to divide up the land of Israel I would expect a major quake will hit the US shortly. If it's not a major quake than more huge storms like Sandy and the one that is now hitting the East Coast of the US. You will see the storm information under the list of recent earthquakes.

Under ordinary circumstances, a storm of this sort wouldn’t be a big deal, but large swaths of the landscape were still an open wound, with the electrical system highly fragile and many of Sandy’s victims still mucking out their homes and cars and shivering in the deepening cold. Exactly as authorities feared, the nor’easter brought down tree limbs and electrical wires, and utilities in New York and New Jersey reported that some customers who lost power because of Sandy lost it all over again as a result of the nor’easter. Greece’s statistics service says the number of Greeks without a job hit 25.4 percent in August, a record high in more than three years of relentless unemployment rise. A new survey conducted by the Greek statistics service ELSTAT released on Thursday says the jobless rate in the country has increased since the last record in July to twice the average unemployment rate of 11.5 percent in other eurozone countries. International lenders will support eastern Europewith more than 30 billion euros ($38 billion) in the next two years to shield it from the impact of the euro area’s debt crisis, mimicking a plan they implemented in 2009.
