"WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Global food prices are rising again, pushed higher by costlier oil, strong demand from Asia and bad weather in parts of Europe, South America and the United States, the World Bank said on Wednesday. The latest World Bank food price index showed the cost of food rose 8 percent between December and March. In the previous four months, prices had declined. Even after the latest rise, food prices remain 1 percent below a year ago and 6 percent below the February 2011 historical peak, the World Bank said." "After four months of consecutive price declines, food prices are on the rise again, threatening the food security of millions of people," Otaviano Canuto, World Bank vice president for poverty reduction and economic management, said in a statement. "The price indices of grains, fats and oils, and other foods all increased in each month since January 2012," the World Bank said. The international rice price declined, however, due to abundant supplies of the grain and strong competition among exporters, the poverty-fighting institution said. If current food production forecast for 2012/2013 do not materialize, global food prices could reach higher levels and required close monitoring, the World Bank cautioned."

Prophecy Sign: Revelation 13: 1-16 show us the Antichrist will control the world economy.
In my April 10, 2012 post I wrote you this. “Jesus shows us in Rev. 13: 16-17 that the Antichrist will control the world's economy. Revelation 13 shows us the Antichrist will force everyone to take his mark. If you don't take this mark you cannot buy or sell anything. I warned you that you will hear more news about a depression. Why? Because something major has to happen to give the Antichrist his stage! We can see a major world crisis coming that will aid the Antichrist in taking command of the entire world's economy.”
Yesterday April 30, we again read more news about a Depression. I quote, “The global economy is mired in a "late Great Depression" despite central bank stimulus policies, says Yale economist and author Robert Shiller. "Our whole economy has been affected by variations in confidence. Central banks are sort of trusted, but the actions they have often affect people’s confidence by appearance rather than substance. We’re not in the most trusting mood now,” Shiller tells CNBC. The Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, the Bank of Japan and the Bank of England have propped up their respective economies via liquidity injections known as quantitative easing, tools designed to spur recovery but dubbed by critics as printing money out of thin air.
He says the world is in a “new age of austerity.”

Prophecy Sign: In part of Matthew 24:7 Jesus warned us “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” Mark 13:8 warned us of the same thing. The kingdom against kingdom is civil unrest amongest the nations.

NEW DELHI, INDIA (Worthy News)– Hindus who tried to stop the burial of a Christian convert last week in Chattisgar state beat a pastor and other Christians, including children and the elderly, according to Compass News. When more than 40 Christians at the house of Jaikant Pawar, 31, of Balgal village, were taking his body out for burial, hundreds of Hindu villagers suddenly surrounded the house shouting anti-Christian slogans. "They slapped, kicked and beat us with their fists and slippers," said a Christian leader. "The extremists threatened to kill us and challenged us to bring life back to the dead body of Pawar." The leader said that after Christians fled and hid in their homes, they were forcefully dragged out by the mob; 10 Christians received medical treatment in an attack that lasted more than six hours. Later that night, some Hindus threatened the Christians with death if they didn't remove Pawar's body from the village, but when they carried him to the Bande police station, the police were unwilling to register a First Information Report.”
