Do you remember my warning about watching the news to see the real jobless claim numbers that will show up after the Obama Admin. gives the figures? I noticed today that the Tea Party .org posted what I said. I quote myself from my April 12, 2012 post. “In many of my previous posts I have been showing you how America is declining in power. I warned you to watch the news because you will see hundreds of thousands of Americans lose their jobs each month as America's power in the world keeps declining. I have shown you time and time again when the President comes up with good news about job increases, the real news concerning the jobs will be adjusted soon after and it won't be good news.”

Now I want you to take a look at the news concerning the adjusted figures that were just released. The headline to this next report is as follows: “Weekly Jobless Claims Hit Higher Level Than Expected”

“New U.S. claims for unemployment benefits fell less than expected last week, according to a government report on Thursday that could dampen hopes of a pick-up in job creation in April after March's slowdown. Initial claims for state unemployment benefits slipped 2,000 to a seasonally adjusted 386,000, the Labor Department said. But the prior week's figure was revised up to 388,000 from the previously reported 380,000.”

In a move that seems like it should have happened in the year 2000, a Japanese bank announced it will be installing about a dozen automated teller machines that can read customers' palms to identify them. Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank will be the country's first to introduce the system.
