Hizbullah leader Hasan Nasrallah accused Israel on Friday of wanting “the issue of Palestine to be forgotten” and said the resistance against Israel was still alive. Speaking on the occasion of Friday’s Land Day, Nasrallah said Arab countries had the capabilities to liberate Palestine if they joined forces but said the will was absent. “The [Arab and Muslim] nation is responsible for this and can be victorious given its capabilities which would enable the regaining of Jerusalem and Palestine,” the Lebanon-based Daily Star quoted Nasrallah as having said.

Prophecy Sign: Intense Heat
"And there shall be signs in the sun" (Luke 21:25a). “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him…Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done” (Revelation 16:8-11). THE BACKDROP: In Iraq the Euphrates and the Tigris rivers are drying up, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan say their ground water is rapidly depleting, and the Dead Sea is drying up. Much of the problem is due to the failure of governments in the region to manage growth and use of the major rivers. A State Department report released last week in Washington concluded that the use of water as a weapon of war or a tool of terrorism will become more likely beyond 2022, particularly in South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.

PLAGUE OF DISEASES ON MAN, ANIMALS, BIRDS, AND FISH
At least 10,000 migrating snow geese and other waterfowl have died this spring at drought-plagued Lower Klamath and Tule Lake national wildlife refuges along the Oregon border in Siskiyou County. Biologists are calling the avian cholera outbreak one of the biggest drought-related die-offs in the refuges' more than 100-year history. "We're going to estimate about 15,000 dead by the end of the outbreak," refuge manager Ron Cole said" (The Record Search Light March 29, 2012).
