Bahrain agreed to establish formal relations with Israel in advance of Tuesday’s anticipated historic signing in Washington of an accord to normalize ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. It is likely that a second accord could be signed Tuesday between Israel and Bahrain. To underscore the speed with which events are unfolding, Netanyahu noted on Friday that it took 26 years, from the signing of a peace deal between Israel and Jordan in 1994, for there to be an existing deal, such as the one with the UAE. Netanyahu leaves for Washington on Sunday and will return to Israel after Tuesday’s signing ceremony at the White House. Bahrain’s state news agency BNA said on Friday that the King of Bahrain had clarified in his conversation with Trump and Netanyahu, that Bahrain remains committed to the Palestinian cause and the necessity of reaching a fair and lasting peace between the Israelis and Palestinians based on the two-state solution. The biggest question now is whether Saudi Arabia, one of the Middle East’s most influential countries and a close US ally, will follow suit. Saudi Arabia, a key Sunni rival to Shi’ite Iran, has so far signaled it is not ready. Zaha Hassan, a visiting fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, said Bahrain’s move was “especially disturbing” to Palestinians.” This move could not happen without a Saudi green light,” she added. “[Saudi Arabia] is under pressure to normalize, but cannot because of its position as the custodian of Islam’s holy places and the unpopularity of it on the street level. Bahrain was offered up as a consolation that will keep Saudi Arabia in Trump’s good graces.” Sept. 14, 2020
***As reported by ETRM on Sept. 7, 2020, we have an on-going list of countries seeking normalization and ‘peace’ accords with Israel:
Emirates NDB, Dubai’s largest bank, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Israel’s Bank Hapoalim, the country’s largest lender, a statement from Hapoalim said on Monday. The statement said that the MoU “marks a historic first as the banks look to further cooperation ties following the establishment of financial and economic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.” Sept. 14, 2020
Palestinians, as the old phrase goes, never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. But they also never miss an opportunity to organize a day of rage. They’ve called for three in the wake of agreements between Israel, the UAE and, just announced Friday, Bahrain. From the Palestinian perspective, the news keeps getting worse as it was reported on Monday that Oman is expected to be the next Arab country joining the procession of nations making peace with Israel. The Palestinians have lost sympathy and support among Arab countries. Their terrorist methods, their support for Iran and the corruption of their leadership are reasons most often cited. In Ramallah, images of the rulers of Bahrain and the UAE have been burned and the Palestinians have expressed anger and disappointment as they have been brushed off by Arab countries. Last week, the Arab League rejected a draft resolution condemning the Israel-UAE agreement. It’s not known if the Palestinians will return to mass violence. The Jerusalem Post reported on Sunday that some Palestinians are interpreting the formation of a new group made up of representatives of different Palestinian factions as a call for a new Intifada. Could Israel normalization partition Al-Aqsa Mosque?
A statement in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain normalization agreements with Israel, brokered by the United States, may lead to the division of the Al-Aqsa compound because it violates the status quo, analysts say. Under the status quo affirmed in 1967, only Muslims can pray within al-Haram al-Sharif, also known as the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. Non-Muslims can visit but cannot pray at the site. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed this status quo in a formal declaration in 2015. According to the joint statement between the US, Israel, and the UAE released on August 13 by US President Donald Trump: “As set forth in the Vision of Peace, all Muslims who come in peace may visit and pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem’s other holy sites should remain open for peaceful worshippers of all faiths.” The Al Aqsa mosque is a building serving as a mosque built on the Temple Mount, known as the Al Aqsa compound. The declaration made by Netanyahu in 2015 specifically states: “Muslims pray on the Temple Mount; non-Muslims visit the Temple Mount” ***We leave it to readers to analyze the wording of these documents and decide for themselves if there is to be any change in the status quo. Is the wording “Al Aqsa Mosque” meant to refer to the building serving as a mosque or does it encompass the Al Aqsa mosque compound (Temple Mount)?
A series of explosions have lit up the night sky outside the city of Zarqa, northeast of Amman, the capital of Jordan, at a military ammunition depot in Ghabawi. The explosion took place at a warehouse of “unusable mortar bombs” in the Ghabawi area east of Zarqa and was caused by an electrical short, Petra reported citing Jordan’s minister of media affairs Amjad Adaileh. Maps of the area show several army bases are located on the outskirts of Zarqa near the Ghabawi peak. Some social media users rushed to compare the Zarqa explosion to the blast at the port of Beirut, Lebanon last month, when a warehouse filled with ammonium nitrate devastated the port and caused at least 190 deaths and 6,500 injuries. However, there have been no known casualties from the Friday incident, the government said. Sept. 10, 2020
The visit of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh to Lebanon has sparked outrage in the country. Many Lebanese citizens and officials have expressed the fear that his presence in their country could trigger another war with Israel. Their fear does not seem unjustified. The Lebanese are aware of the disasters Hamas has brought on its people in the Gaza Strip by firing rockets into Israel. The Lebanese are telling Hamas: “If you want to launch terror attacks against Israel, please do not use our country. We are not prepared to pay the price.” The Lebanese have also objected to the return to Lebanon of armed Palestinian groups. The Lebanese appear afraid that Hamas is operating on instructions from Iran to turn Lebanon into a launching pad for firing missiles at Israel. Arab political analysts…. also believe that Iran is preparing to use its proxies, Hamas and Hezbollah, to target Arab countries that establish relations with Israel, such as the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. The US State Department praised Serbia on Sunday for its decision to designate Lebanon’s Shiite Iran-backed Hezbollah in its entirety as a terrorist organization. The designation was said to be included in a deal between Serbia and Kosovo reached earlier this month that will also see Pristina establish diplomatic relations with Israel and set up its embassy in Jerusalem. In a statement on Sunday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Serbia’s move was “another significant step limiting this Iranian backed terrorist group’s ability to operate in Europe. “This important action was announced as part of the historic commitments President Trump secured on a wide range of economic normalization issues between Serbia and Kosovo, coupled with the steps both nations are taking to help achieve peace in the Middle East,” he continued. New images reveal evidence of an attack on a secretive missile facility in Syria. The photos, released by ImageSat International on Sunday, show that two structures at Al-Safirah missile factory near Aleppo were hit. ISI assessed an intelligence report that this attack was “intended to weaken the missile production in Syria.” It also says that this factory may have been producing missiles for Hezbollah. Crucial “elements” of the site were hit. The airstrike took place on September 11. It came a week after two other airstrikes in Syria that regime media and others reported. At the missile factory, ISI assesses that the structure played a role in missile production. “The facility, which probably contained explosives, was destroyed.” A second structure, that may have had machinery, was damaged. The Syrian regime and its media have blamed Israel for some airstrikes over the last several years. Tehran has trafficked missiles to Iraq. It has sent precision guided munitions to Hezbollah via Syria. It has also sought to help Hezbollah build factories in Lebanon. Sept. 14, 2020
Last weekend, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan demanded that Greece engage in talks over escalating tensions in the eastern Mediterranean, warning that “They’re either going to understand the language of politics and diplomacy, or in the field with painful experiences.” The Greek government, meanwhile, announced further steps this week to bolster the country’s defenses. Parties are doubling down on dueling interpretations of the law of the sea. The U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) asserts that countries may claim a territorial sea extending up to 12 nautical miles (nm) from their coasts, including sovereignty over the offshore oil under those waters. Turkey has never ratified UNCLOS — and specifically rejects the convention’s provision that islands are entitled to continental shelves of their own. Since most of the islands in the Aegean are Greek territory, Turkey uses this legal position to claim rights to offshore oil in waters outside the territorial seas of Greek islands, arguing that this area is part of Turkey’s continental shelf. Greece, a party to UNCLOS, rejects the Turkish position, arguing that the principles in UNCLOS — including the entitlement of islands to continental shelves — have come to represent customary international law and thus also apply to Turkey. Reflecting this stance, Greece argues that Turkey’s recent exploration is on a continental shelf extending from the Greek islands of Crete, Karpathos and Rhodes and thus violates Greece’s sovereign rights. The United States and Iran are set to face off at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), also known as the World Court, on Monday, over the US pullout from the 2015 nuclear deal. At the head of the matter are the sanctions that the US reimposed on Tehran after withdrawing from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018; Iran argues the move came as a violation of the 1955 “Treaty of Amity” between the two countries. The coming weeks will see the two countries clash over whether the court, which was established in the wake of World War II to resolve disputes between UN members, has jurisdiction in the matter after Tehran turned to it in 2018. A decision on that issue could take several months, while a final judgment may take years. Sept. 14, 2020
The Afghan government has called for a humanitarian ceasefire with the Taliban, as the first-ever peace talks between the two sides began in Qatar. Abdullah Abdullah, who led the government’s delegation, stressed that there was “no winner through war”. The Taliban did not mention a truce, reiterating instead that Afghanistan should be under Islamic law. The US encouraged both sides to reach an agreement, telling them: “The entire world wants you to succeed”. Afghanistan has seen four decades of conflict, with tens of thousands of civilians killed. The historic talks began on Saturday, one day after the 19th anniversary of the deadly 9/11 al-Qaeda attacks in New York, that led to the US beginning military operations in Afghanistan. A Black Lives Matter protest shut down the upper level of the George Washington Bridge on Saturday. BLM supporters and NYPD clashed as police attempted to unblock the George Washington Bridge after traffic was ground to a halt. For about an hour on Saturday night, Black Lives Matter demonstrators marched across the George Washington Bridge to the 34th precinct station house in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood. About 100 protesters blocked all cars and trucks from passing. The crowd boasted that they were on the bridge to “shut s*** down!” Agitators used construction cones to block cars from driving on the George Washington Bridge. Sept. 14, 2020
Lukashenko’s campaign to expel and detain opposition leaders is failing to disrupt increasingly adaptable and sustained protests. Tens of thousands of protesters marched in the fourth weekly women’s march in Minsk on September 12, and over 100,000 marched in Minsk and around the country on September 13. Telegram channel NEXTA intentionally refrained for the first time from publishing instructions for the Sunday march on Saturday night, to prevent security forces from pre-deploying to protest sites. NEXTA did not issue protest instructions until nearly noon on Sunday, directing protests to begin at 2:00 pm local time. NEXTA issued detailed instructions and maps – which tens of thousands of protesters followed – asking protesters to gather in several separate areas around Minsk before converging on key locations, including Lukashenko’s residence and large plazas, from several directions.NEXTA’s flexible control of the protests forced Belarusian security forces to redeploy throughout the day to follow protesters. The coronavirus depression will be much worse than the last worldwide recession, because this time no country is strong enough to rescue the global economy. The story of the Great Recession goes like this: the US and Europe were crippled while working to clean up their devastated banking system, the global services sector suffered without its biggest player — the US consumer engine — but global economic growth didn’t completely fall off a cliff because other countries kept money moving around the planet. Over in China policymakers enacted a massive stimulus to skip over the recession entirely. The country’s GDP grew 9.4% in 2009. India chugged along as if the crisis barely happened, with its GDP growing 7.9% in 2009. But this time there is no corner of the globe that has been left untouched by the pandemic or its effects. And so, there’s no country that can reasonably chug along and keep things from getting truly disastrous. Sept. 13, 2020
I have written many times about inflation and the relationship between money and policy, as well as the difference between inflation (rise in price because of demand leading to greed), and hyperinflation (the loss of faith in a currency that causes prices to rise because of the worthlessness of the means of exchange). What I have been driving at is that much of the “inflation” in the US is not really inflation, but a tacit admission of a future hyperinflation, because prices are not constantly rising because of “demand”, but because the US dollar’s value is going into the trash bin of history. But it is not me who says this, since the facts on which I speak are from analysis that anybody can read and study. As such, Zero Hedge recently put out an article about a Harvard Professor who, likely studying the same data, was forced to conclude the same- that prices are rising much faster than the inflation rate, suggesting not increased demand, but a loss in the value of the currency itself. The Communist government of China has combined its coronavirus ‘track and trace’ system with the country’s notorious social credit score. Fears that the new COVID surveillance system would be used for “totalitarian social monitoring” are being realized in China. The new system ranks each citizen via a “civilization score” and then places them in a category which determines whether they get priority access to services or are punished and restricted. The new system represents an expansion of the social credit score and is being initially rolled out in the city of Suzhou and will apply to everyone over the age of 18. In August 2019, the Communist state bragged about how it had prevented 2.5 million “discredited entities” from purchasing plane tickets and 90,000 people from buying high speed train tickets in the month of July alone. As we document in the video below, the onerous social credit score system is literally designed to punish and socially ostracize dissidents who express controversial opinions. In the age of social media deplatforming, an identical system is gradually being introduced in the west, where people who have been banned by social media networks for ‘offensive’ views are then also deplatformed by companies and banks. ***A review: CBDC’s (centralized bank digital currencies) vs. Cryptocurrency
CBDC is digital FIAT money, a currency established as money by government regulation, monetary authority or law. Cryptocurrency is NOT a form of government issued fiat money and does not exist in physical form; it is a digital asset that works as a medium of exchange (goods for items and services) through ledger technology in the form of a database. For further information, please research both of these terms.
Various central banks all across the whole world are working on introducing their own Central Bank Digital Currencies including the Central Bank of China, Japanese central bank, and European central bank. And they aim to launch their respective CBDCs as soon as possible. Meanwhile, a research company based in Europe has claimed in a new report that there are at least three to five countries that are planning on replacing their fiat currencies with central bank digital currencies within the duration of the next ten years. the report outlined some of the countries that are very near to launch their CBDCs. These include China that has completed the development of its central bank digital currency known as Digital Yuan and is currently conducting pilot trials on its DP/EC in various major cities of the country. The central bank of China is expected to launch the digital Yuan next year. Apart from this, Sweden is also very near to release its central bank digital currency known as digital Krona. Sweden started the testing phase of digital Krona at the beginning of the year 2020 and conducted some trials. The country aims at removing the usage of cash by replacing it with e-Krona. In the report, the research company also highlighted the fact that if the digital Euro does not get launched by the year 2025 there is likely a chance that the digital Yuan of China may overtake it. Even though there have been mixed reactions following the rise of CBDCs, the fact remains that most countries are adopting it. The launch of the digital currencies is noted as an advantage to the government as they would be able to monitor how cash is deployed carefully. CBDC provides some critical features that physical currency doesn’t possess as it can be monitored and be shared amongst people that are deserving of the currency while leaving out others. Another factor associated with the rise of CBDC is social credit. Citizens of a country should follow the rules of the state before they are allowed to own digital currency. In the words of analyst Andrew Torba, if the ruling party in China doesn’t find you worthy of holding the digital currency, you will be robbed of your right to buy food, take a bus, and some other amenities. A new Finnish ad campaign by Burger King celebrates LGBTQ pride by showing the fast food chain’s mascot kissing its rival McDonald’s mascot, Ronald McDonald. The ad is appropriately called, “Love Conquers All.” The ad campaign, which shows the two burger icons forming a heart, was launched by Burger King Finland as the brand serves as the official partner for Helsinki Pride, which is taking place until September 13. In a statement to Adweek, Burger King Finland’s brand manager Kaisa Kasila said that the design was a reflection of the values Burger King has always held dear. “Burger King has always stood for equality, love and everyone’s right to be just the way they are,” she said. The U.N. has tapped a former abortionist and advocate for teen prostitution to its top post of expert on health and human rights. According to a report at international human rights watchdog organization C-Fam, South African Dr. Tlaleng Mofokeng has risen quickly at the U.N., from “sexual health and rights advocate” to the top post of Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health, a role that will give her a global platform to urge the decriminalization of the sex trade. “Mofokeng’s reports advancing sexual rights, including the legalizing of prostitution, will likely be cited as authoritative interpretations of human rights law by U.N. agencies and like-minded Member States,” C-Fam observed. Last year, Mofokeng, author of Dr. T: A Guide to Sexual Health and Pleasure, and host of television show Sex Talk with Dr. T. created a firestorm following publication of her article at Teen Vogue that encouraged teen girls to consider “sex work.” As C-Fam reported in July, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation praised Mofokeng for her leadership in the area of family planning in 2016. All over the globe, thousands upon thousands of Christians are being ruthlessly killed simply because of what they believe. But if you only rely on corporate-controlled media sources for your news, you literally never hear about this relentless persecution. In fact, in this article I don’t link to a single mainstream news source. I had to go to Christian news websites to document what I am about to share with you, because the mainstream media avoids stories such as these like the plague. Sept. 8, 2020
For the last several weeks, wildfires have been ravaging the State of California. The CDC admits Cloth masks that are used to slow the spread of COVID-19 offer little protection against wildfire smoke. They do not catch small particles found in wildfire smoke that can harm your health. Limit your time outside when it’s smoky. Learn how you can protect yourself from wildfire smoke. They just told us that smoke particulates are too small to be stopped by a cloth mask. While N95 masks will protect up to 95% of particles, down to .1 microns in size. A quick Google search will tell us that smoke particles and debris are usually .4 to .7 microns in size. According to the CDC, cloth masks are not effective in stopping materials that size. Another quick Google search will tell us that the Wuhan Virus is .12 microns in size, about a quarter in size of the smoke and fire debris particulate. Even if we factor for the “respiratory droplets” that are allegedly to blame for the spread of coronavirus, those droplets are as small as .5 microns Sept. 14, 2020
Four communities in Middlesex County are now considered high risk for the West Nile virus, health officials said. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced four more human cases of the West Nile virus, bringing the total number in the state this year to seven. All four people were exposed in Middlesex County, officials said. The health department said Cambridge, Newton, Somerville and Watertown have been elevated to high risk for the mosquito-borne disease. There were five human cases of West Nile virus infection in Massachusetts last year. Meanwhile in Europe, since the start of the 2020 transmission season and as of 10 September 2020, EU Member States have reported 173 human cases of WNV infection and 15 deaths through TESSy: Greece (91, including 12 deaths), Spain (49, including 3 deaths), Italy (29) and Romania (4). All cases were reported from areas that have been affected during previous transmission seasons. No cases have been reported from EU-neighbouring countries. Since the beginning of the 2020 transmission season, 60 outbreaks among equids have been reported. These outbreaks have been reported by Spain (51, including 29 in the province of Seville), Italy (6), France (1), Portugal (1) and Germany (1) through ADNS. No outbreaks among birds have been reported through ADNS. Sept. 14, 2020

Headline: IDF soldiers come under fire along Syrian border in Golan Heights
An Israeli army unit came under fire Tuesday on the Golan Heights, near the Syrian border. One officer sustained light shrapnel wounds and did not require hospitalization. On Tuesday morning, IDF fired warning shots near Shaaba Farms area on Har Dov after it claimed several people crossed the border. After the warning shots, the people turned back. Lebanon’s al-Manar television station reported Israeli army forces crossed the border fence along the Lebanon border and searched the area some 50 meters inside the territory. The report added it a group of Lebanese intelligence officers who the IDF fired warning shots at, who were accompanied by a filming crew documenting “Israeli violations in the Shaaba Farms area.” Last January, two Israeli soldiers were killed and seven wounded after an anti-tank missile struck an Israel Defense Forces vehicle in the Har Dov area near the Lebanon border.

Headline: Palestinian forces detain 500 Hamas West Bankers, to thwart coup and Abbas assassination plot
Acting on direct orders from Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian special forces raided the nine PA-ruled towns of the West Bank in the past 48 hours and detained 500 Hamas suspects, debkafile’s military sources report. Abbas ordered the operation after discovering that Hamas had been hatching a plot for some weeks to stage an armed insurrection against the Palestinian Authority, starting in one of the Palestinian towns – possibly even the PA capital of Ramallah. They would assassinate him in the process of the coup. Of late, Abbas has kept his distance from Ramallah and his seat of government and spends most of his time traveling in foreign countries, especially Arab capitals, where he feels safer under the protection of foreign security services than he does at home. The wave of detentions from Sunday to Tuesday (March 9-10) is the most extensive the Palestinian Authority has ever conducted against Hamas’ West Bank cells. Not only prominent figures and known terror activists were taken into custody but also new figures.Abbas ordered the operation amid a serious dilemma over his personal security. Before him were reports presented by Palestinian Intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Majed Faraj revealing the preparations in train for his assassination, an event that would signal mass riots orchestrated by Hamas and Jihad Islami, leading up to the seizure of government from the Palestinian Authority – much as they did in the Gaza Strip. At the same time, Abbas does not entirely trust Palestinian security services or their ability to safeguard him and his regime in Ramallah. He therefore turned to Israel, touching off an IDF response that had nothing to do with Israel’s forthcoming general election on March 17 – as government opponents have claimed. The 3,000 IDF soldiers plus 10,000 reservists called up this week were not posted on the West Bank to practice anti-riot tactics for putting down Palestinians disturbances against Jewish settlements – as reported. They were placed on the ready in case it was necessary to go into Palestinian towns and save them from being overrun by the radical Hamas and Jihad Islami. The Israeli troops also rehearsed a possible scenario that might ensue from the murder of Mahmoud Abbas.

Headline: Islamic State releases execution video of ‘Mossad spy’
The Islamic State on Tuesday released a video which appeared to show a child execute an East Jerusalem Arab who joined its ranks, and who the radical Islamist group claimed was a Mossad agent. The 13-minute clip released online also listed other people the jihadist group claimed were working for Israeli intelligence. Israeli officials told Reuters that they were aware of the video but hadn’t yet authenticated it. The contents of the video couldn’t be independently verified. In the video, Muhammad Said Ismail Musallam, 20, was seen kneeling in an orange jumpsuit before an armed man and a teenage boy. The boy appeared to shoot Musallam repeatedly with a pistol. The other man, speaking in French, issued a tirade against the Jews, including praise for a recent terrorist attack in Paris in which four Jewish men were killed at a kosher supermarket, and threatened to attack Israel. “O Jews, indeed Allah has gifted us with killing your followers in your own stronghold in France. As for here in the Islamic State, here are the young lions of the Khilafah,” the IS member said, referring to the groups of children the jihadists train to become future fighters. “They will kill the one sent by the foolish Mossad to spy on the secrets of the mujahidin and the Muslims.” The man went on to vow that IS “will liberate Jerusalem from you filth, by Allah’s permission.”

Headline: Palestinian Company Cancels Leviathan Gas Contract
An Israeli partner in the Leviathan offshore gas field said on Wednesday a Palestinian Arab company had cancelled a $1.2-billion supply contract, citing delays by Israel’s Antitrust Authority. Delek said it had informed the Tel Aviv stock exchange that a 20-year contract it had signed with the Palestine Power Generation Co was cancelled by the Arabs on Tuesday, reports AFP. Delek said this was because of “non-fulfillment of the conditions precedent set forth in the agreement, and essentially non-receipt of the approval of the Antitrust Authority, the delay in approving the development plan of the Leviathan project as well as other regulatory approvals required by law.” The statement by Delek said the contract’s cancellation would be effective within 30 days.

Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! 2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” (Psalm 83)

Headline: Jordan’s King Abdallah urges EU to fight “Islamophobia”
King Abdallah II of Jordan urged Europeans on Tuesday to fight hostility toward Islam that he said was fueling extremism among Muslims, including those drawn from Europe to fight in the Middle East.Addressing the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Abdallah praised Europe’s “unbeatable courage” in responding to attacks such as those in Paris in January and likened Islamic State to Nazism — “an expansionist ideology based on hatred.” But in calling for cooperation to combat Islamist violence, the king, who attended commemorations for the slain French satirists of Charlie Hebdo but criticized the paper’s use of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), said that European governments must promote “mutual respect” and an “inclusive society.”

Headline: Hezbollah’s Resistance against Israeli Army among Islamic Revolution’s Miracles
Iran’s top general said Wednesday his country has reached “a new chapter” towards its declared aim of exporting revolution, in reference to Tehran’s growing regional influence, while hailing the role of Hizbullah in resisting Israel. Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, commander of the nation’s powerful Revolutionary Guards Corps, said: “Hizbullah and its resistance against one of the armies in the world — that is to say the army of the Zionist regime.. is one of the Islamic revolution’s miracles,” he said. “It is (part of) the powerful influence of the Islamic system as the helmsman in the region.” “Supporting Lebanon and the Gaza Strip are among the Islamic Republic’s fundamental principles,” he added. His comments come amid concern among some of Shiite Iran’s neighbors about Tehran’s role. “The Islamic revolution is advancing with good speed, its example being the ever-increasing export of the revolution,” he said, according to the ISNA news agency. “Today, not only Palestine and Lebanon acknowledge the influential role of the Islamic republic but so do the people of Iraq and Syria. They appreciate the nation of Iran,” Jafari said in a speech before the Assembly of Experts, Iran’s top clerical body.

Headline: Deadly bomb attacks hit Egypt’s Sinai peninsula
Bomb attacks targeting the police and army in Egypt’s restive Sinai peninsula have killed two people and wounded more than 30, officials say. A suicide bomber targeted a police compound in the city of El-Arish, leaving a civilian driver dead. A roadside bomb later exploded beside an armoured vehicle, killing a soldier. Sinai Province, a jihadist group affiliated to Islamic State, claimed it was behind the first attack, the al-Yawm al-Sabaa newspaper reported. In the first attack, the suicide bomber drove a water tanker filled with explosives into the gate at the rear entrance to the police compound in El-Arish shortly after 06:00 (04:00 GMT), security officials said. As the vehicle approached, police fired on it, detonating the explosives inside. The blast killed the bomber and a civilian worker at a nearby electricity company who had been driving by the compound. Shortly after the attack, an army officer was killed and three soldiers were wounded when a roadside bomb exploded beside their armoured vehicle a few kilometres away. Meanwhile, two suspected militants died when a bomb they were transporting on a motorbike exploded in Fayoum, a town south-west of Cairo, security officials told the AP news agency. One of the men was wanted for a previous attack on a police station in Fayoum, they added.

Headline: Hamas drones said to enter Egyptian airspace
Headline: Egypt government appeals court ruling labeling Hamas as ‘terrorist’
Hamas drones reportedly flew out of the Gaza Strip and into Egyptian airspace above the Sinai Peninsula several times last week as the Egyptian army stood by helpless to prevent the incursions. Egyptian radar picked up three drones flying out of the southern Gaza Strip on numerous occasions, the Egyptian Al Osboa newspaper reported. The unmanned aerial vehicles penetrated as far as El Arish and Sheikh Zuweid, some 50 kilometers from the Egypt-Gaza border. Border forces opened fire on the drones but couldn’t hit them because they were flying at an altitude of 750 meters (2,2250 feet), the report said. Under the terms of the 1979 peace deal with Israel, Egypt is not allowed to station any anti-aircraft weapons in the Sinai region, so its forces have been unable to prevent the Hamas activities.

Syria Headline: Regime in new Latakia campaign
The Syrian regime has launched a new offensive under the cover of heavy aerial bombardment in the northeastern outskirts of Latakia, amid opposition fears of massacres in the mountain region. The government’s latest military campaign, which comes in conjunction with offensives in Aleppo and the south, aims to take the town of Salma, a rebel stronghold approximately 35 kilometers northeast of Latakia. Rebels first seized Salma—one of the Latakia provinces majority Sunni-populated towns—in December 2012, and have since launched a number of operations from the area, which constitutes the insurgent-held front line to Latakia and the Assad family’s hometown of Qardaha. “The regime hopes its campaign… will prevent a repeat of attacks like the recent car bombing in Assad’s hometown of Qardaha, put an end to opposition shelling of pro-regime villages in the coastal region, and protect its Al-Nawba Mountain observation point,” Alaraby Aljadeed reported Tuesday. “If the regime advances beyond [rebel-held mountain areas] the Latakia-Aleppo road will be threatened and, as a result, the regime will have cut off the opposition’s supply line.”

Iraqi forces entered a northern neighborhood of Tikrit Wednesday, marking a new stage in the operation launched 10 days ago to wrest the city back from jihadists, army officers said. “We are now doing combat missions to cleanse the neighborhood of Qadisiyah,” a major general told AFP on condition of anonymity. “We were able to control Tikrit military hospital, which is close to the center of the city,” he said. “But we are engaging in a very delicate battle because we are not facing fighters on the ground, we are facing booby-trapped terrain and sniper fire. Our movement is slow,” the senior officer said. He said the forces that entered Qadisiyah on Wednesday morning included army and police, as well as members of the large volunteer force called Popular Mobilization units. Iraqi forces have been closing in for days but had largely refrained from entering the city, launching only small-scale operations on the edges of Tikrit and laying siege to it. Several other military and political sources confirmed that Iraqi forces had retaken control of a significant part of Qadisiyah, a large neighborhood stretching north of the city center.

Iraq Headline: ISIS attacks Iraq’s Ramadi with seven car bombs: police
A coordinated Islamic State attack in Ramadi, Iraq, Wednesday, involved seven car bombings, killing 10 and injuring 30. Suburbs of the city of about one half million, 60 miles west of Baghdad, are under IS control, and the near-simultaneous car bombings occurred in government-held parts of the central area, which have come under regular IS attack. Police said fighting, including mortar rounds fired at government’s provincial council headquarters, followed the car bombs. The attacks occurred as IS began an offensive on the strategic town of Ras al-Ain, on the Syria-Turkey border, where forces linked to al-Qaida were expelled in 2013 by Kurdish soldiers. The assault Wednesday initiated intense fighting with the town’s Kurdish militia. “Fighters from the Islamic State group started a huge assault towards Ras al-Ain, and were able to take over a village nearby,” said the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, adding that Ras Al-Ain was under Kurdish control. ***SEE ALSO KURDS BELOW March 11, 2015

Kurdish Headline: Islamic State battling Kurdish forces in northeast Syria
Hundreds of Islamic State fighters have launched an attack on Kurdish forces in northeastern Syria, triggering fierce fighting that has killed dozens on both sides, a group monitoring the war said on Wednesday. The Kurdish YPG militia, backed by U.S.-led air strikes, had made significant gains in recent weeks against Islamic State in the region, cutting an important supply route from territory controlled by the militant group in Iraq. Islamic State appeared to try to seize back the initiative on Tuesday, attacking Kurdish forces using tanks and heavy weapons around Ras al-Ayn town near the Turkish border, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. An official in a Kurdish-run defense council in the area also reported heavy clashes in the area of Ras al-Ayn and said the Kurdish forces had been forced to withdraw from a nearby village. “There are martyrs and dead but the number of martyrs is unknown so far,” said the official, speaking via Skype. The fighting continued into Wednesday. It was not clear exactly how many fighters had been killed on both sides.

Headline:Kerry Calls for US ‘War Powers’ to Strike ISIS
Secretary of State John Kerry urged lawmakers Wednesday to give President Barack Obama updated war powers to go after Islamic jihadists at “a pivotal hour” in the battle against the terrorists, reports AFP. “Our nation is strongest when we act together – and we simply cannot allow this collection of murderers and thugs to achieve its ambitions,” Kerry told Congress. He said the Islamic State (ISIS) group which has captured a swath of land in Iraq and Syria, wanted to ensure “the death or submission of all who oppose it” as well as “the incitement of terrorist acts across the globe.” Appearing at the Senate foreign relations committee, Kerry as well as Defense Secretary Ashton Carter and the top US military officer, General Martin Dempsey, called for a united vote in favor of a new authorization for use of military force (AUMF) to take on ISIS. Tantamount to a declaration of war, the authority would provide Obama political cover at home and a firmer legal basis on which to prosecute the fight, particularly among allies abroad who have joined a US-led international coalition.

Headline: Russia tells West to fear its nuclear arsenal
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said that Moscow would respond to NATO military buildup near Russian border “in an adequate way.” NATO military buildup near Russia’s border does not contribute to the restoration of trust in the Euroatlantic space, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Tuesday. “We have confirmed our stance that military buildup near our border does not contribute to the restoration of trust in the Euroatlantic,” the Russian foreign minister said during a news conference with his Spanish counterpart. Lavrov added that “we are forced to react in an adequate way, but we are sure that these problems need to be solved through an equal dialog based on mutual respect.” Meanwhile, Russia has the right to deploy nuclear arms in the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, which Moscow annexed from Ukraine last year, a Foreign Ministry official said on Wednesday, adding he knew of no plans to do so. “I don’t know if there are nuclear weapons there now. I don’t know about any plans, but in principle Russia can do it,” said Mikhail Ulyanov, the head of the ministry’s department on arms control, was quoted as saying by Interfax news agency.

Headline: US to send Ukraine small drones, armored Humvees
Vice President Joe Biden told Ukraine’s president Wednesday the U.S. will send more aid to the country, which U.S. officials said will include small drones and armored Humvees. The White House said in a statement that Biden delivered the news in a call to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, while expressing concern that Russian-backed separatists are violating cease-fire agreements in eastern Ukraine and keeping out international monitors. U.S. officials, speaking on a condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to discuss the aid on the record, said the aid includes some small Raven drones systems, which can be launched by hand. The U.S. will also send 30 heavily armored Humvees and 200 other regular Humvees, as well as radios, counter-mortar radars and other equipment. All of the aid is nonlethal, and the drones are not armed. The drones and other equipment, not including the Humvees, are worth about $75 million. It’s not clear how many drones would be sent or what the Humvees cost.

Headline: Kerry: Congress doesn’t have right to change deal with Iran, once signed
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told U.S. lawmakers on Wednesday they would not be able to modify any nuclear agreement struck between the United States and Iran despite threats by Republican senators. In congressional testimony, Kerry said he responded with “utter disbelief” to an open letter signed by 47 Republican senators that warned that any nuclear agreement would only last as long as U.S. President Barack Obama remains in office. “When it says that Congress could actually modify the terms of an agreement at any time is flat wrong. You don’t have the right to modify an agreement reached executive to executive between leaders of a country,” Kerry told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which does not include Senator Tom Cotton, the Republican from Arkansas who wrote the letter. The White House slammed the letter as “reckless” and “irresponsible,” warning that it interfered with efforts to negotiate with the Iranians. The negotiations, which resume in Lausanne, Switzerland, next week led by Kerry, are at a critical juncture as the sides try to meet an end of March target for an interim deal, with a final deal in June that would ease crippling sanctions against Iran’s economy.

Headline: 13 killed in separate Afghanistan bomb attacks
At least thirteen people have been killed and tens of others injured when a string of bomb explosions ripped through the northern and southern parts of war-wracked Afghanistan. A senior police official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said one civilian lost his life and 16 others sustained injuries when a bomb exploded near a hospital in Baghlan’s provincial capital city of Puli Khumri, located 230 kilometers (142 miles) north of the capital, Kabul, on Tuesday. The official added that the blast targeted a police vehicle, though no police officer was wounded. Separately, eight people were killed and 23 others wounded when a car bomb blast struck a police checkpoint in Afghanistan’s southern province of Helmand. Omar Zwak, a spokesman for the provincial governor, said the blast took place as a bomber detonated his explosives-laden car near the checkpoint on the outskirts of the provincial capital city of Lashkar Gah, located about 555 kilometers (344 miles) south of the capital, Kabul, on Tuesday. He added that the dead included six civilians and two police officers. In another development of Tuesday, a roadside bombing killed four people and wounded five elsewhere in Afghanistan. No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the acts of terror. However, such incidents are usually blamed on Taliban militants.

Headline: ISIS Finds New Frontier in Chaotic Libya
The Islamic State has established more than a foothold in this Mediterranean port. Its fighters dominate the city center so thoroughly that a Libyan brigade sent to dislodge the group remains camped on the outskirts, visibly afraid to enter and allowing the extremists to come and go as they please. Libya has become a new frontier for the radical group as it comes under increasing pressure from American-led airstrikes on its original strongholds in Iraq and Syria. While other extremists organizations may have sought only to capitalize on the Islamic State’s fearsome name, the contingent here in Surt has not only taken over a major Libyan city but also demonstrated clear coordination with the parent organization, also known as ISIS or ISIL and based in Syria. That close cooperation so far sets the Islamic State group in Surt apart from the wave of other militants who have pledged allegiance to ISIS from Afghanistan, Algeria, Nigeria and Egypt, or even in Libya’s southern and eastern provinces.

Headline: Turkish police use teargas to subdue protesters marking teen’s death
Turkish police on Wednesday fired water cannon and teargas at hundreds of protesters who had gathered to mark the first anniversary of the death of a teenager fatally wounded during anti-government demonstrations. Mainly leftist protesters chanting “Berkin Elvan is immortal” clashed with police in Istanbul and Ankara. Berkin Elvan, 15, was hit in the head by a teargas canister after leaving his house to buy bread during violent anti-government protests that wracked Istanbul in June 2013. He fell into coma and died nine months later on March 11, 2014. His death sparked further protests among those angry over a lack of prosecutions. President Tayyip Erdogan, prime minister at the time of the 2013 protests, said Elvan was linked to “terrorist” groups. In Elvan’s neighborhood of Okmeydani, almost 1,000 protesters marched toward the cemetery where Elvan was buried, then attempted to rush armored police vehicles that fired water cannon. Police chased protesters into side streets using tear gas and rubber bullets, witnesses said. At Gezi Park in central Istanbul – the center of the 2013 protests – police detained eight high-school students who splattered the area in red paint meant to resemble blood and unfurled a banner saying “Berkin is here”. In the capital, Ankara, police detained 11 people who had blocked traffic in the working-class district of Tuzlucayir, Hurriyet newspaper reported on its website. Tuzlucayir is largely inhabited by members of the Alevi faith, as was Elvan.

At least seven people have been killed and 17 others injured after two bomb explosions hit a busy market and a nearby commercial street in the northeastern city of Maiduguri in Nigeria’s restive Borno state. “Seven persons died while 17 others were injured. The rescue is still ongoing,” Borno state police commissioner, Clement Adoda, told reporters on Tuesday. Adoda referred to only one blast after initial reports of two explosions at the city’s Monday Market and in a nearby street. Bukar Ali, one of the witnesses, also said “nobody is allowed close to the scenes of the blast.” No one has so far claimed responsibility for the deadly explosions, but they bear the hallmarks of the attacks by Boko Haram Takfiri militant group. Meanwhile, Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan says fighters from insurgent group Boko Haram have traveled to the Middle East for training with Islamic State militants. Jonathan declined to name the countries where the fighters were allegedly trained. But in an interview with VOA Wednesday, he said he’s long suspected Boko Haram of having alliances with international extremist groups. “So we know the links are there. But even now, we may not know the degree of linkages as to how much funds are coming in from them, the kind of volume of weapons coming in from them, the nationalities coming from them,” Jonathan said. “But the training, because some of the Boko Haram members go to have their training in the ISIS camp and come back.”

Headline: Greece threatens to seize German property, Berlin refuses to pay WWII reparations
Germany once again dismissed Greek demands to pay reparations for the 1941-44 Nazi occupation of Greece. “It is our firm belief that questions of reparations and compensation have been legally and politically resolved,” said Steffen Seibert, the spokesman for German Chancellor Angela Merkel. “We should concentrate on current issues and, hopefully, what will be a good future,” Reuters reported him as saying. A spokesman for the finance ministry said there was no point in holding talks with the Greek government concerning the issue of reparations. The spokesman also added that the demands from Athens were just trying to distract attention away from the serious financial problems the country is facing. With Germany refusing to budge from its position concerning the payment of war reparations, Greece’s Justice Minister said Wednesday that Athens could start seizing German assets. Nikos Paraskevopoulos said he was “ready to approve” a Greek Supreme Court ruling in 2000 that would allow the appropriation of assets belonging to Germany’s archaeological school and the Goethe Institute. Proceeds from the property would be used to compensate the relatives of 218 civilians who were massacred by Nazi troops in a village in central Greece in June 1944. “The law states that the minister must give the order for the Supreme Court ruling to be carried out…. I am ready to give that order,” Paraskevopoulos told Antenna TV, AFP reported.

The euro is set to hit parity with the US dollar in the coming weeks as a combination of quantitative easing and fears over a Greek exit from the eurozone continues to fuel a plunge in its value. The euro has lost 10 percent against the dollar and the pound sterling since January. This has largely been attributed to the European Central Bank’s recently launched €1.1 trillion quantitative easing (QE) programme, which will pump an extra €60 billion into the eurozone economy every month until September 2016, alongside renewed fears that Greece could be forced out of the single currency bloc. At the close of trading on Tuesday (10 March), one euro was worth $1.07 and £0.71 respectively, its lowest rate against the dollar since September 2003 and lowest level against the pound since 2007. Market analysts expect the euro to slide further against the greenback because the ECB’s bond-buying programme is expected to be accompanied by the first interest rate rise in the US since the 2008-9 financial crisis. The falling euro is also putting increasing pressure on Denmark to follow the lead set by Switzerland last month and abandon rules capping its kroner currency to the euro, as the kroner becomes too strong to maintain the link. The euro lost nearly 20 percent of its value in a day against the Swiss franc after the Swiss national bank abandoned a three year cap on the franc’s value against the single currency in mid-January.

Headline: China may be ending dollar’s hold on reserve currency as early as September
On March 9, sources within China provided new information that validates that the Far Eastern economy is now ready to compete with, or even supplant, the dollar as the sole global reserve currency as early as September of this year. Having already completed a message interchange system that mirrors the same one in the West, the Chinese equivalent of SWIFT is now ready and is expected to be fully operational by the 3rd quarter of 2015, which will allow other nations to transact with the world’s largest economy without the need to purchase dollars as a medium of exchange. Additionally, there has been a great deal of speculation over the past two years that China might back their currency with gold once they are fully ready to float it as a global reserve, with strong indications showing that at the very least, China will be calling for the use of international letters of credit or trade notes that are backed by gold to help stabilize transactions using this historical form of sound money.

Headline: Economist Tells Congress: U.S. May Be in ‘Worse Fiscal Shape’ Than Greece
The U.S. has a $210 trillion “fiscal gap” and “may well be in worse fiscal shape than any developed country, including Greece,” Boston University economist Laurence Kotlikofftold members of the Senate Budget Committee in written and oral testimony on Feb. 25. “The first point I want to get across is that our nation is broke,” Kotlikoff testified. “Our nation’s broke, and it’s not broke in 75 years or 50 years or 25 years or 10 years. It’s broke today. “Indeed, it may well be in worse fiscal shape than any developed country, including Greece,” he said. (See Kotlikoff—Testimony-to-Senate-Budget-Committe.pdf) In January, Fitch downgraded Greece, whose debt-to-Gross Domestic Product (GDP) ratio is 175 percent, from Stable to Negative. “This declaration of national insolvency will, no doubt, shock those of you who use the officially reported federal debt as the measuring stick for what our country owes,” Kotlikoff told committee members who are considering President Obama’s proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2016.

U.S. stocks closed more than 1.5 percent lower on Tuesday, pressured by a surge in the dollar and some weakness in oil. The Dow Jones industrial average fell more than 300 points to below the index’s 50-day moving average, wiping out gains for the year. The S&P 500 also traded in the red for the year and breached its 50-day moving average, which is an indicator of the market trend. Only the Nasdaq held onto gains of about 3 percent for the year. There’s “concern that energy and the strength in the dollar will somehow be negative for the equities,” said Art Hogan, chief market strategist at Wunderlich Securities. He noted that the speed of the dollar’s surge was the greatest market driver, amid mixed economic data and concerns about the Federal Reserve raising interest rates.

Public health officials across the West Coast are urging medical professionals to look out for cases of ocular syphilis – a sexually transmitted disease that can cause blindness – after two potential cases in Los Angeles recently. On Thursday, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health issued an advisory for primary and eye-care providers to look out for symptoms associated with the disease, which is usually a complication of primary or secondary syphilis infections. With more than a dozen cases – most of them among gay men – reported between Seattle and San Francisco and now potentially two in Southern California, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation is calling for medical professionals to do more. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California’s syphilis rate was second in the country behind only Georgia. Los Angeles also had the highest number of primary and secondary cases of syphilis of any county in the U.S. in 2013, the CDC reported.

It is the first known case of a British military worker contracting the disease. Britain has an extensive anti-Ebola effort underway in Sierra Leone. A public health spokesman said no details about the health care worker’s condition would be released. Two British nurses who contracted the disease while treating patients in Sierra Leone last year survived after being brought back to Britain for specialist treatment. Contingency plans have called for infected British health care workers to be transferred to London for treatment in a special unit at the Royal Free Hospital.

A wave of H7N9 bird flu in China that has spread into people may have the potential to emerge as a pandemic strain in humans, scientists said on Wednesday. The H7N9 virus, one of several strains of bird flu known to be able to infect humans, has persisted, diversified and spread in chickens across China, the researchers said, fuelling a resurgence of infections in people and posing a wider threat. “The expansion of genetic diversity and geographical spread indicates that, unless effective control measures are in place, H7N9 could be expected to persist and spread beyond the region,” they said in a study published in the journal Nature. The H7N9 bird flu virus emerged in humans in March 2013 and has since then infected at least 571 people in China, Taipei, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Canada, killing 212 of them, according to February data from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Headline: Virus behind swine flu in India mutates into more dangerous form: study
An outbreak of swine flu in India has killed over 1,500 people, and U.S. scientists warned Wednesday that the virus behind the outbreak has acquired mutations that make it more dangerous than previously circulating strains of H1N1 influenza. The findings, published in the U.S. journal Cell Host & Microbe, contradicted previous reports from Indian health officials that the strain has not changed from the North American version of H1N1 that emerged in 2009 and has been circulating around the world ever since. “It has been extensively reported in India that a virus similar to A/California/07/2009 is responsible for the current outbreak,” study author Ram Sasisekharan, professor of Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), said in a statement. “Examination of the Indian H1N1 flu viruses that circulated in 2014 shows amino acid mutations that make them distinct from the A/ California/07/2009 virus.”

In Revelation 9:21 we see Jesus speaking to us about drug’s. The words “sorceries” in Revelation 9:21 is the Greek word pharmakia from which comes our word “pharmacy”. It signifies the use of medicine, drugs, spells, such as those used in witchcraft and those used today by those who are seeking a greater “high”. This generation was to be labeled a drug generation and we are.

A bipartisan group of three Senators will introduce a historic bill Tuesday that could end the federal ban on medical marijuana, a substance that 23 states have now legalized. The plan sponsored by Republican Senator Rand Paul and Democratic Senators Cory Booker and Kirsten Gillibrand would “allow patients, doctors and businesses in states that have already passed medical-marijuana laws to participate in those programs without fear of federal prosecution,” according to a statement the three Senators released Monday. The measure would also reclassify marijuana as a Schedule II drug instead of a Schedule I, putting it on the same legal footing as narcotics rather than substances like heroin.

Headline: Italy sets new world one-day snowfall record
The next time the people of Capracotta, Italy, hear the folks in Boston complain about a snow season of more than 100 inches, they’ll be like: “That’s nice. We’ve been known to get that much in one day.” In 18 hours, actually. It’s not an official record yet, but it looks like the Italian village got 100.8 inches (256 centimeters) on Thursday, setting the all-time mark for most snow in 24 hours. Pescocostanzo, about 21 miles (34.6 kilometers) away, only got 94.5 inches (240 cm). That’s more than Boston got in January and February combined, but just short of the 107.9 inches the city totaled so far for the whole season. One of the photos posted on MeteoWeb, the Italian weather website that reported the immense snowfall, showed a resident standing on top of the accumulation shaking hands with a neighbor. She is in a second-story window. The town, which has about 1,000 residents and sits at an altitude of 4,662 feet (1,421 meters), is prone to heavy one-day snowfalls, MeteoWeb reported. You might conclude it’s in the Italian Alps given all that snow, but that’s not the case. It’s about a three-hour drive east of Rome, roughly halfway down the Italian Peninsula, not far from the Adriatic Sea. But it is in the mountains and is vulnerable to weather coming from the northeast. The World Meteorological Organization will confirm whether the snowfall actually surpassed the 24-hour snowfall record — 75.8 inches — from Silver Lake, Colorado, set in 1921.

The Last Chronicles of Planet Earth November 7 2014 Edition
This past Wednesday night November 5, 2014 I gave a prophecy seminar. During that seminar I told the people attending that Jordan would have to break their peace treaty with Israel soon. Why did I tell them that? For two reasons. Number one, Christ in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 tells us that while the people are calling for Peace and Safety that will be the time that this sudden destruction will come. Now what happens when peace breaks down? WAR! Did Christ leave us in the dark as to who it would be that would go to WAR against His People Israel? Not at all. Fact is, in the Psalm 83 prophecy which you see below, God gives us the exact nations who will attack Israel thinking that they are going to destroy her. As you will see from the photo to the right that Jordan has been listed to attack Israel will the rest of the nations in that Psalm 83 prophecy. Four days after I told them to watch what Jordan does concerning their peace treaty with Israel news broke out as you will read below that their is now a call in Jordan to break off the peace treaty with Israel.
Is Jordan moving in the direction of which our God said they would go? The answer to that question of course is YES! Not only are they now calling to break the peace treaty but there is now a call for a war against Israel. I quote, “Al-Aksa needs liberation and all of the people of Jordan are ready to wage jihad (holy war) to liberate our sacred sites,” demonstrators chanted in Amman.” You can read more below.
Here is the bottom line. Events are speeding up to bring us to the fulfillment of both the 1 Thessalonians 5:3 prophecy and the Psalm 83 war prophecy. W?hat the Jordanians are doing should have been noticed by every believer in Jesus Christ. No one who really loves Jesus should be in the dark concerning these prophecies yet most of the Churches around the world are in the dark concerning these prophecies because either they are not ready the word of God and or their Pastors are not teaching the entire Bible of which these prophecies are found. If you are in either one of these groups you had better begin to make a change because our Lord is coming soon based on what He tells us to look for. If you missed these very important signs what other signs are you missing? If your Pastor is failing to teach his church everything Jesus has taught us which includes prophecy you need to suck it up, stand up for Christ and, let your Pastor know! It’s about time we see Christians like Stephen who stood up for Jesus and was stoned for that stance.
Look at numbers 1,3, and, 6 on the photo to the right. You will see that Jordan is one of the nations listed to attack Israel in the Psalm 83 war.
I Thessalonians 5:3,4: “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”
Psalm 83: 1-5 1Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. 2For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. 3They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. 4They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. 5For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:” Prophecy Sign: The Ezekiel 38 war. Russia leads an attack on Israel in the last days and one of the main allies of Russia is Iran. Now you know why Russia and Iran are the closest of partners!

Headline: Israeli institute prepares priests for Jerusalem’s third temple
On April 10, at 5 p.m., hundreds of Jews will gather at the Maimonides rabbinical institution plaza in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood in Jerusalem and start learning the Jewish laws of Passover. Rabbis and experts, including Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the head of the Temple Institute in the Old City of Jerusalem, the leading body preparing for the establishment of the third temple, will teach the audience the laws of the Passover sacrifice. Alongside Ariel, the ritual slaughterer (shohet) Rabbi Yehudah Giatt will teach the audience about the unique elements of the slaughter of the Passover sacrifice. After the lessons, the real thing will start: the simulation of the Passover sacrifice. This isn’t the first time that the “Association of Temple Organizations” will hold this activity, but this year the practice drill and re-enactment of the Passover sacrifice will be carried out by the students of the school for priests, Nezer Ha-kodesh, which started operating this year. The priest school intends to train the hundreds of priests that would be needed to work at the third temple; many Jews endeavor for its establishment in Israel today.

Headline: Hamas calls on Abbas to ‘unleash the resistance’ in the West Bank
Hamas on Wednesday called on Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to “unleash the resistance” in the West Bank against Israel. The Hamas call came following Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s decision to cut high-level economic and civilian contacts with the Palestinian Authority. In an official statement released by Spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum, Hamas said Netanyahu’s move to end the cooperation with the Palestinian Authority obligated Abbas to allow the “unleashing of resistance, in order to deter the Israeli occupier and to defend our people, our land and our holy sites.” The Hamas statement called on the Palestinian Authority to end the peace negotiations, to end security coordination with the “occupation,” and to embark on an international and regional campaign to delegitimize it. “Netanyahu’s move today proves that there is not place for the negotiations and there is a danger to continue them under any pretense,” the statement read.

Headline: Israeli launches spy satellite after US refusal to push for Iran’s weapons program’s dismantlement
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided not to delay the launch of Israel’s improved Ofek 10 spy satellite Wednesday night April 9, hours after the six powers and Iran wound up another round of talks in Vienna on comprehensive accord on its nuclear program. Israel decided to show some muscle over the Obama administration’s consent to raise Iran’s weapons program at the next round of nuclear negotiations next month, debkafile’s Washington and Jerusalem sources report. But this assurance, relayed also to the Saudi government, was not accompanied by information on the points to be raised, or the US response if Tehran continued to maintain that its weapons program is non-existent and therefore not up for negotiation with the world powers. Neither did Washington reply to questions from Jerusalem about how US negotiators would act in the light of the latest intelligence data supplied by Israel, Britain and Holland attesting to accelerated Iranian work on its putatively non-existent weapons program. The Israeli prime minister is still waiting for an answer from Washington. But at least one American official admits to knowing the truth. “It would take Iran just two months to produce enough fissile material for a nuclear weapon,” US Secretary of State John Kerry told a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing Tuesday in a downbeat assessment of efforts to curb Tehran’s nuclear program.

Headline:Abbas Says Talks Could Continue Beyond April 29
Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas says he may be willing to extend talks with Israel beyond their current April 29 deadline, throwing a lifeline to US Secretary of State John Kerry’s floundering diplomatic efforts between the sides. Speaking to pan-Arab newspaper Asharq al-Awsat, Abbas denied that his decision to unilaterally apply for membership to 15 international agencies should have scuppered talks – despite unilateral moves during the negotiation period being a clear violation of the term of negotiations. Abbas said the move had nothing to do with Israel and that he was simply acting to uphold the rights of the “Palestinian people”. Nonetheless, any extension of talks would require an acceptance of Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state, he cautioned, echoing previous conditions leveled by PA officials for a continuation of talks.

Headline: Israel urges UN action against Hezbollah
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Ron Prosor called on the Security Council to take drastic steps against Hezbollah in the wake of the group’s admission that it had planted a bomb targeting IDF troops on the Israel-Lebanon border last month. Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah said in an interview published Monday that his organization was behind the blast, which took place on March 14 in the Har Dov area but did not cause any casualties or damage to IDF position. “Yes, the explosion in the Shebaa Farms that Hezbollah has not claimed until now was the work of the resistance, which means the work of Hezbollah,” Nasrallah told the Al-Safir daily. In a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the UN Security Council, Prosor noted that Nasrallah’s admission is further evidence that Hezbollah continues to act south of the Litani River, near the border with Israel, which is a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1791 that ended the 2006 Second Lebanon War.

Tripoli’s security plan has so far ended tensions between Bab al-Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen fighters as army raids and the pursuit of wanted individuals has made it difficult for both parties to return to the frontlines. But as the Lebanese Armed Forces continues to ramp up security measures and pursue wanted suspects, army personnel are being met with fierce objections from local residents who condemn the raids. Earlier this week, the Lebanese army announced the continued implementation of Tripoli’s security plan, pointing out that it had “raided warehouses of weapons and arrested wanted persons.” But after the LAF raided houses in al-Barraniya neighborhood Monday night, families and supporters of the detained took to the streets Tuesday morning, blocking roads and burning tires in protest of raids they said were insulting and demeaning. The National News Agency reported that demonstrators threw three bombs at the Abu Ali River in protest of the LAF’s arrests.

Headline: Syria crisis: Car bombings ‘kill 25’ in Homs
Two car bombs have exploded in the Syrian city of Homs, killing at least 25 people and wounding scores more, state news agency Sana says. The report blamed “terrorists” for the blasts, half an hour apart, in the Karam al-Luz district. In a separate development, the rebel-held town of Rankous, north of Damascus, is reported to have fallen to government forces. State TV said the final battle to capture Rankous lasted 18 hours. In a live report from the strategically important town, it said that the government victory came after weeks of intense fighting. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights – a UK-based activist group – said rebel fighters had withdrawn from Rankous at the request of residents after a truce was agreed. The observatory – which has a network of informants on the ground – said the truce was negotiated by local officials. The group also reported the bombings in Homs, saying they had been carried out in an area that is mostly populate by Alawites – the sect to which President Bashar al-Assad belongs. Sana reported: “Twenty-five people fell as martyrs, including women and children, and more than 107 others were wounded after the explosion of the two car bombs.”

Headline: Syrian regime forces overrun Rankous
Fierce infighting between rival Islamic rebel groups in eastern Syria left some 24 fighters dead on Thursday, while government shelling killed at least four teenagers in a town in the country’s west, activists said. The four were killed in the rebel-held town of Rastan, just north of the city of Homs, a day after two car bombs exploded in a government controlled district there, killing 25 and wounding over 100. It was the latest episode in a relentless cycle of blood and violence that has gripped the country since March 2011, when the uprising against President Bashar Assad’s rule began. Opposition groups including the Local Coordination Committees and the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the teenagers were killed in a barrage of artillery shells that struck a residential district. ‘‘Bashar Assad and his gangs killed the children. They are slaughtering us, old and young and children,’’ said one man, standing beside the bodies shrouded in white sheets, in a video posted online. Other footage showed heavy smoke rising behind buildings as the shells hit. The videos were consistent with The Associated Press’ reporting on the incident.

The UK, Poland, and Sweden have proposed sending an EU police mission to Ukraine to build up its law enforcement bodies in the wake of February’s revolution.“Re-establishing confidence in the rule of law in Ukraine will be vital for future stability. We thus propose a capacity-building mission focused on supporting the police and judicial system,” they said in an informal paper circulated in Brussels this week. The paper, seen by EUobserver, notes the mission would focus on “monitoring, mentoring and advising” as well as “strategic advice”. It says: “While the mission should primarily focus on central government in Kiev, it should also have a remit to work in the regions, monitoring and providing advice on how to build a robust national system in the medium to long-term.” “This would provide a clearer idea of the pressures and challenges in the regions, and give a greater understanding of what is happening on the ground,” it adds.

Headline: Top economists warn Germany that EMU crisis as dangerous as ever
The eurozone debt crisis is deepening and threatens to re-erupt on a larger scale when the liquidity cycle turns, a leading panel of economists warned in a clash of views with German officials in Berlin.”Debts above 130pc of GDP for Italy and 170pc for Greece are a recipe for disaster once we go into the next downturn,” said Professor Charles Wyplosz, from Geneva University.”Today’s politicians believe the crisis is over and don’t want to hear any more about it, but they have not tackled the core issues of fiscal union and public debt,” he said, speaking at Euromoney’s annual Germany conference.Ludger Schuknecht, director-general of the German finance ministry, insisted that the debt-stricken states of the eurozone are well on the way to recovery, ending their EU-IMF rescue programmes successfully one by one. There is no need for any major shift in policy. “The strategy has been right. We need to bring down debt and this is now consensus,” he said.

Headline: Harvard study: Your share of the federal debt is $106,000
American workers would have to cough up a one-time “debt reduction fee” of $106,000 to pay off the nation’s debt that has grown 58 percent under President Obama, according to Harvard University’s Institute of Politics annual report on the USA. The 91-page report provided to Secrets pegged the nation’s debt at $16.7 trillion, up from the $10.6 trillion inherited by Obama. “The debt has grown so quickly because of large and repeated annual deficits in federal spending,” said the report. What’s more, the Annual Report of the USA, from the student at the Harvard Political Review and done in partnership with the American Education Foundation, found that food stamp usage has surged 77 percent during the recession and that Social Security benefits will be slashed 23 percent starting in 2033 unless Congress and the White House institute sweeping reforms.

Headline: Italian court recognizes a same-sex marriage
A court in Grosetto, Italy, recognized a same-sex marriage Thursday, authorizing the overseas union of two Italian men recorded in the city’s civic registry. The acknowledgment, a first for Italy, involves two unidentified men, ages 68 and 57, from Grosetto, a city north of Rome in Tuscany. The two men were married in New York in 2012 in a civil ceremony. Although they sought to record their marriage in the local registry, they were turned down until local judge Paolo Cesare Ottati upheld their appeal, noting the Italian civil code “contains no reference to sex in relation to the requisites” for marriage. Ottati added there is “no impediment to the registration of a marriage contracted abroad.”

1 Thessalonians 5:33 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destructioncometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Israel announced the fourth batch of 26 Palestinian prisoners was not released Saturday night, March 30, because the Palestinians had meanwhile applied to 15 UN agencies and conventions and threatened to have international courts “convict Israel’s leaders as war criminals.”The Palestinians Thursday upped their price for returning to negotiations, including recognition of the 1967 lines as borders of a future Palestinian state with east Jerusalem its capital; the release of 1,200 prisoners, including multiple murderer Marwan Barghouti and Ahmad Saadat.
Israel hit back with penalties, including the suspension of high-level bilateral communications between governments and the relegation of Palestinian affairs to the Government Coordinator Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordecai; a freeze on the release of third-generation cell phone technology to Palestinian Authority-ruled areas and an end to communications equipment exports to the Palestinian cell phone company owned by Mahoud Abbas’s sons. Finally, the 14,000 dunams of Jordan Valley land already allocated to Palestinian farmers would be held up. The Israeli government said further punitive measures were under consideration.
With Israeli-Palestinian peace talks faltering, Kerry must decide how to proceed
Kerry, who has made 11 trips to Israel in the past year and has shuttled between seemingly endless late-night negotiating sessions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, acknowledged Thursday that the process was at a “critical moment” and might not survive.
Might not survive? All you have to do is ready what Jesus said concerning the call for Peace and safety and you will fully understand there will be no peace agreement signed!
Let me show you what is going to happen next. Do you see this Israeli Jet? Soon they will be flying over PLO controlled areas to take out the PLO who restart sending rockets into Israel. The prelude to the Psalm 83 war has already begun via the break down of the peace talks. We are very close to the second part of the 1 Thess. 5:3 prophecy which is the sudden destruction.
In Revelation 9:21 we see Jesus speaking to us about drug’s. The words “magic arts” in Revelation 9:21 is the Greek word pharmakia from which comes our word “pharmacy”. It signifies the use of medicine, drugs, spells, such as those used in witchcraft and those used today by those who are seeking a greater “high”. This generation was to be labeled a drug generation and we are.

Headline: EU diplomats warn of regional conflagration over Temple Mount
European Union diplomats stationed in Jerusalem and Ramallah are warning of regional conflagration over the Temple Mount. A March 18 internal report to Brussels raises caution around the changing status quo at the holy site and the growing tension triggered by the demands of right-wing Jewish groups. “There remains a significant risk that incidents at this highly sensitive site, or perceived threats to the status quo, may spark extreme reactions locally as well as across the Arab and Muslim world, and have the potential to derail the peace negotiations,” according to the report, which was obtained by Haaretz. The report also says that almost 100,000 East Jerusalem residents are in danger of losing their homes due to building restrictions Israel places on them. The EU delegates also sound the alarm about the idea of dividing the Temple Mount and allocating separate prayer times for each religion, as was done at Hebron’s Cave of the Patriarchs, known by Muslims as the Ibrahimi Mosque. The report contains an implicit criticism of the tendency by Muslim religious authorities and Palestinian politicians to deny the historic affiliation Jews have to the Temple Mount.
Headline: PA officials: Jews have ‘no right to pray’ at Western Wall
Two Palestinian Authority officials recently asserted that Islamic law forbids Jews from praying at the Western Wall of the Temple Mount, both adding that the wall was an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. “Allah decreed that the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is Islamic and belongs to Muslims alone,” Tayseer Al-Tamimi, former Chief Justice of PA Religious Court said last month, according to a translation newly provided by watchdog NGO Palestinian Media Watch. “It is part of the religious belief of a billion and a half Muslims, and the Jews have no right to it… or the right to pray in any part of it. The Al-Aqsa Mosque includes all its courtyards… and specifically, its western wall,” al Tamimi said Palestinian Authority Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash also stated last month that non-Muslims should be barred from praying at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, which, according to him, includes the Western Wall. “The Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain, by divine decree, a Muslim mosque, will not be shared with anyone, will not be forfeited, and no one besides Muslims will pray in it,” he said.

A senior Palestinian Authority (PA) official announced Friday that Israel has told the PA it will not go through on the fourth and final batch of terrorist releases, which was set for Saturday night. “The Israeli government has informed us through the American mediator that it will not abide with its commitment to release the fourth batch of Palestinian prisoners scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 29,” PA official Jibril Rajoub told AFP. “Israel has refused to commit to the names that were agreed upon of prisoners held by Israel since before the 1993 Oslo agreements,” added Rajoub, calling the move a “slap in the face of the US administration and its efforts.” Rajoub reiterated PA threats to take unilateral moves for recognition at the UN next week, in breach of conditions of the peace talks, due to the release not occurring. “Not releasing the prisoners will mark the beginning of the efforts in the international community to challenge the legality of the occupation,” threatened the PA official.

Headline:Militants assassinate Lebanese soldier in Tripoli
Militants have shot dead a Lebanese soldier in the northern city of Tripoli, where spillover of ongoing conflict in Syria continues to takes more lives. Butrous Baya, a member of Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces, was killed on Friday when gunmen opened fire on his car. Baya was killed instantly with his vehicle plunging into the nearby Abu Ali River. The attack came a day after masked militants on a motorcycle gunned down an officer in central Tripoli. Two dozen people have been killed over the past week in clashes between supporters and opponents of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Tripoli, Lebanon’s second largest city. The fighting has pitted pro-Assad residents of Jabal Mohsen neighborhood against inhabitants of neighboring Bab al-Tabbaneh who support foreign-backed militants operating in Syria. The rival groups accuse each other of using the city as a base for transferring militants and weapons in and out of Syria.

Headline: Egypt police clash with anti-government protesters
Egyptian police have once again clashed with anti-government protesters in various cities across Egypt, following the announcement of Field Marshal Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s presidential nomination. Tens of anti-coup protesters were injured and arrested by security forces in the Sidi Bishr area of Egypt’s northern city of Alexandria on Friday. Police stationed themselves outside of mosques after Friday prayers when demonstrators began chanting slogans against Egyptian officials and the military-backed interim government. Additionally, in Cairo’s Maadi and Ain Shams neighborhoods, police fired tear gas at people marching against Sisi who recently announced his resignation as Egypt’s military chief to run for president. The anti-government demonstrators also criticized death sentences handed down to roughly 500 supporters of ousted president, Mohammed Morsi, and the Muslim Brotherhood in a case related to the killing of a single police officer in the Nile Valley city of Minya. Meanwhile, demonstrators have been holding rival rallies across cities in Egypt including Cairo, Alexandria and the Nile Delta city of Mansoura.

Headline: Saudi mistrust overshadows Obama’s visit to kingdom
Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah is scheduled to meet President Barack Obama Friday as mistrust fueled by differences over Iran and Syria overshadows a decades-long Saudi-US alliance. Saudi Arabia has strong reservations about attempts by Washington and other major powers to negotiate a deal with Iran on its nuclear program, and disappointment over Obama’s 11th-hour decision last year not to take military action against the Syrian regime over chemical weapons attacks. White House spokesman Jay Carney has said that “whatever differences we may have, do not alter the fact that this is a very important and close partnership.” However, Riyadh seems to be reaching out increasingly towards Asia, including China, in an apparent bid to rebalance its international relations.

Headline: Regime fights back against rebel gains in Latakia
Government forces Thursday bombarded rebel positions with artillery and warplanes in the coastal province of Latakia, trying to push back opposition fighters who over the past week made gains in President Bashar Assad’s ancestral heartland. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 13 rebels, among them six non-Syrians, were killed in the strikes or in clashes in northern Latakia province, while 23 government troops and paramilitaries died in the fighting. Government troops have been battling for days with the rebels from several Islamist groups, including the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front, which launched the offensive in the province a week ago. They seized a number of towns, a border crossing with Turkey and – for the first time in the 3-year-old conflict – a tiny stretch of coast giving the rebels an outlet to the Mediterranean Sea. Separately, an official said Turkish artillery returned fire into Syrian territory after a shell from fighting in the neighboring country landed on a road near a Turkish border town. The governor’s office for Turkey’s Hatay province said no one was hurt by the shell, which was fired during fighting between Syrian regime and opposition forces over the predominantly Armenian town of Kasab. The shell strayed three kilometers inside Turkey. Its office said Turkish artillery units near the border retaliated for the shelling, firing at the region it originated from.

Headline: Ukraine says 100,000 Russian troops near border Headline: Russian troops said to be hiding positions, creating supply lines near Ukraine border
Nearly 100,000 Russian forces have massed on Ukraine’s border, a top Ukrainian defense official told an American audience Thursday, giving a number far higher than US military estimates. “Almost 100,000 soldiers are stationed on the borders of Ukraine and in the direction … of Kharkiv, Donetsk, ” Andriy Parubiy, chairman of Ukraine’s national security council, said via a webcast from Kiev. “Russian troops are not in Crimea only, they are along all Ukrainian borders. They’re in the south, they’re in the east and in the north,” Parubiy said. After its intervention in the Crimean peninsula, Russia is plotting to foment separatist sentiment elsewhere and Kiev fears a possible incursion in the country’s east, he told the Atlantic Council, a Washington think tank. Parubiy said any day “we might see a huge attack on the territory of continental Ukraine and we are getting ready for it.” Although US defense officials have put the number of Russian troops closer to 20,000, a US lawmaker said Thursday that much stronger Russian forces had deployed towards Ukraine’s border. “Over the past week we’ve seen the buildup of up to 80,000 additional Russian troops,” Representative Mike Turner said in a statement. Turner said the force included large numbers of armored vehicles, battle tanks, artillery, helicopters and planes. Headline: UN General Assembly votes ‘yes’ on Ukraine unity Headline: Obama urges Russia to pull back troops from Ukraine border
In a surprisingly strong rebuke of Moscow, the UN General Assembly has affirmed Ukraine’s territorial integrity and deemed the referendum that led to Russia’s annexation of the Crimean Peninsula illegal. The vote on the Ukraine-sponsored resolution in the 193-member world body was 100 countries in favor, 11 opposed and 58 abstentions. Twenty-four countries did not vote. While Ukraine has a lot of sympathy among UN member states, Russia has a lot of clout. Both sides lobbied hard ahead of the vote, and diplomats had predicted a significant number of abstentions and a maximum 80 to 90 countries supporting the resolution. So the high number of “yes” votes, representing more than half the 193 UN member states, was a sign of international anger at Moscow’s slow-motion military invasion of Crimea. “This support has come from all corners of the world which shows that this (is) not only a regional matter but a global one,” Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchytsia told reporters after the vote. “It’s the message that the world is united and Russia is isolated,” Deshchytsia said later in an interview with The Associated Press. Headline: Warning signs are flashing on Wall Street
After the stock market’s best year since 1997, warning flags are starting to go up on Wall Street where stock turbulence is on the rise and froth is being rubbed out. This year’s first quarter, which ends Monday, isn’t nearly as bullish as last year, when the benchmark Standard and Poor’s 500 stock index soared 10% in the first three months of the year on its way to an eye-popping 29.6% gain. The broad market is unchanged in 2014 after recovering from an early-year swoon sparked by turbulence in emerging markets and uneasiness surrounding the Federal Reserve’s decision to start pulling back on its bond-buying stimulus program. Russia’s decision to annex Crimea has added to investor angst as geopolitical risk enters the equation. Headline: Holder says feds will recognize Michigan gay marriages despite state decision
Attorney General Eric Holder said Friday that the federal government will recognize about 300 same-sex marriages performed in Michigan before a federal appeals court halted them, despite a decision by Michigan’s governor not to recognize those unions. The decision means federal benefits will be extended to those couples — including the ability to file taxes jointly, get Social Security benefits for spouses and request legal immigration status for partners. “These families will be eligible for all relevant federal benefits on the same terms as other same-sex marriages,” Holder said in a statement. The announcement Friday morning is Holder’s latest entry into the state-level same-sex marriage debate. Holder did the same thing in Utah, where more than 1,000 same-sex couples got married, before the Supreme Court put those unions on hold in January after a federal judge overturned the conservative state’s same-sex marriage ban in December.

Headline: Britain set to hold first same-sex weddings
Britain is the 15th country to legalize same-sex marriage, which is also legal in several U.S. states. But the march of gay rights is not universal — several countries, including Uganda and Russia, have recently introduced anti-gay laws. In Britain, some argue that true equality won’t have been reached until a gay couple can be married by a priest in Westminster Abbey, as Prince William and Kate Middleton were in 2011. Some gay-rights activists think embracing marriage is caving in to a heterosexist world order. The government also defused some opposition by exempting religious groups from conducting same-sex weddings unless they choose to opt in. Daniel 12:4 and Revelation 13:16-17 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” (Daniel) “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation)
Headline: Humans will be kept between life and death in the first suspended animation trials
At a hospital in Pittsburgh, surgeons are now allowed to place patients into a state of suspended animation. If a patient arrives with a traumatic injury, and attempts to restart their heart have failed — if they’re on the doorstep of death — they will have their blood replaced with a cold saline solution, which stops almost all cellular activity. At this point, the patient is clinically dead — but if the doctors can fix the injury within a few hours, they can be returned to life from suspended animation by replacing the saline with blood. Or at least, that’s the theory. The technique of suspended animation (or “emergency preservation and resuscitation” as non-sci-fi doctors prefer to call it) was first trialed on pigs in 2002. Hasan Alam, working with his colleagues at the University of Michigan Hospital, drugged up a pig, created a massive hemorrhage to simulate the effect of a massive gunshot wound, and then replaced its blood with a cold saline solution, cooling the pig’s cells to just 10 Celsius (50F). After the injury was treated, the pig was gradually warmed back up by replacing the saline with blood. Usually the pig’s heart started beating on its own, and despite the pig being dead for a few hours, there was no physical or cognitive impairment. Now, it’s time to try it out on humans.

Headline: Threatening ‘IRS’ calls, emails are scams, officials warn
As the April 15 tax filing deadline approaches, federal and local officials are warning taxpayers to beware of telephone calls and emails purportedly from the Internal Revenue Service demanding money or threatening arrest or audits. The IRS, on its website, says such calls also sometimes threaten driver’s license revocation and sometimes are followed up with calls from people claiming to be police or the state motor vehicle department. The agency says some scam artists “spoof” or imitate the IRS toll-free number on caller ID to make the call appear legitimate. Callers often demand payment through a preloaded debit card or wire transfer. Retired insurance agent Basant Kohli, 86, of South Hempstead, said he received a call of that nature March 9 from a man claiming to represent the IRS and saying Kohli owed $2,900.86 from 2006. “They said ‘If you don’t pay it, we’ll send the police to arrest you.’ ” Frightened, Kohli was about to send money, then suspected a scam. His son called police, who took a report, Kohli said. The IRS urges taxpayers to report apparently bogus telephone calls to the Treasury inspector general for tax administration at 800-366-4484. http://www.newsday.com/business/threatening-irs-calls-emails-are-scams-officials-warn-1.7514990

1 Thessalonians 5:33 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Psalm 83: Prophecy Sign: 1Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. 5For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:”
Over the years I have done my best to warn you the Middle East peace talks will fail which will lead to another war in between the Arabs and Israel. Below are a few of my warnings.
From my March 4, 2014 warning. “One of these prophecies we seen creeping up fast is in fact the Zechariah 12:3 prophecy. One of the major events that will speed up the world coming against Israel will be the failed peace talks between Israel and the PLO. We are almost at that point now. The news each day is filled with headlines warning what will happen if Israel doesn’t cave in and grant land to the Palestinians. Of course this type of news is showing us that another prophecy which hasn’t been fully completed yet will also be fully fulfilled.” http://frankdimora.typepad.com/the_last_chronicles/2014/03/prophecy-signs-for-march-4-2014-with-frank-dimora.html
Today more news concerning the Middle East peace talks was released and, as you can see from the report below the peace talks are going no where just as I have been telling you. I can assure you this, both sides behind the scenes are preparing for war! The war that is coming will be the Psalm 83 war of which the PLO will play a major role in the attack against Israel. Be ready to witness the second half of the 1 Thessalonians 5:3 prophecy which is the sudden destruction.
Israel: Abbas refusal to discuss ‘Jewish state’ torpedoing talks
By refusing to even discuss recognizing Israel as a Jewish state Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is destroying any chances of reaching a peace agreement, a senior Israeli official said Wednesday. “President Abbas’s stubborn refusal to discuss mutual recognition between two nation-states stands in stark contrast with Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu’s willingness to recognize a Palestinian state and his agreement that all of the core issues can be raised in the talks,” the official told The Times of Israel, a day after Abbas again dismissed the idea at an Arab League summit in Kuwait, and hours after the summit’s delegates expressed “total rejection” of Israel’s demand.
Matthew 24:7 7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale hit West Halmahera in North Maluku province on Thursday morning. The epicenter of the quake, which struck at 3:47 a.m. local time, was located 44 km southwest of West Halmahera or 2,456 km northeast of Jakarta at a depth of 140 km, head of the Kotabumi geophysics station in Lampung, Yuharman, said as quoted by Antara news agency.
As far a earthquakes is concerned what should we be looking forLook for some huge quakes soon as Jesus warned us about the birth pains and part of these birth pains is great earthquakes. They are on the way!
Why are the Buffalo leaving Yellow Stone? Is it possible a huge quake is coming?

(To Yesterday’s Story) – World Vision reverses decision to hire gays
Facing a firestorm of protest, the prominent Christian relief agency World Vision on Wednesday reversed a two-day-old policy change that would have allowed it to hire Christians in same-sex marriages in the US. The aid group sent a letter to supporters saying the board had made a mistake and was returning to its policy requiring celibacy outside of marriage “and faithfulness within the Bible covenant of marriage between a man and a woman.” http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_WORLD_VISION_GAY_MARRIAGE?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2014-03-26-17-06-23
If you would like to read other news concerning my warnings Israel and the PLO will not sign a peace deal just Google this phrase (there will be no peace agreement signed frank dimora” and pick the link you want. You can also Google this phrase (I am warning you no peace deal will be signed frank dimora).
Those of you who have been coming to my site have listen to me list the last days signs for years. In my book you can read for FREE I show you all the signs and provides tons of proof we are in the last days. For years I have been telling people that I see many people who claim to be Christians but by the acts of their life there is a big question mark. Either you love Jesus and follow Him and what He says to do and what not to do or you call yourself a Christian and do what you want and the end result is you are just like those living in the world. What did Jesus say about being in the World? Here are a few of scriptures on this issue.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
Please understand that I am not casting stones because I to have done things in my past that I know Jesus did not want me to do. I also know that when I did sin against the Lord I felt sick to my stomach and repented and prayed for the Lord’s help not to repeat those mistakes. Over the years the Lord has help me become the image of what Jesus created me to be. The danger is when people don’t even think what they are doing is wrong when in fact their actions hurt Christ. This is the thing that breaks my heart because when I fall short I realize it and it makes me draw closer to Christ because I know thourgh Him I will become strong. I want my life to be as pure as it can be for the Father because I remember what He did for me on that CROSS and that kind of love is something I hold dear in my heart. May I ask you to click the link below to view a video concerning the world you see around you. Before you watch this video ask yourself this question. Am I a Christian or not or are you as one of the people in the video who say they are born again but live a life full of sin and it is just brushed off? The time is drawing to a close. We are coming to the final last days signs soon and you need to be ready. Now is the time to get right with Christ! As for me and my house hold I desire to walk with Christ and it is my prayer that I may have a part in your life to maybe put you back on the road in abiding in Jesus Christ and living out the rest of your days outside the world and inside of Christ’s.
Zechariah 12:3 “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
Headline: Israel’s Defense Ministry United Against American Pressure Headline: Israeli defense minister closes debate on US security plan
While news came this week that Russia was suspended from the G-8 and tensions continue to rise between America and Russia, the U.S. State Department continues to expect an apology from Israel’s defense minister. Last week, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said, “It isn’t a favor America is doing; it’s in their interest. They get quality intelligence and technology.” As Ya’alon rightly noted, Obama’s America has developed an image in the world of “feebleness.” Ya’alon last earned the ire of the State Department a month ago when he said, “The American security plan that was presented to us is not worth the paper it was written on. It contains neither security nor peace. Only our continued presence in Judea and Samaria and the Jordan River will guarantee that Ben Gurion Airport and [the northern city of] Netanya do not become targets for missiles from every direction.” He continued by saying that Secretary of State John Kerry “operates based upon an unfathomable obsession and a messianic feeling.” And while Israel’s most senior and most popular cabinet member speaks the truth, American State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki says, “We still have remaining concerns about Ya’alon’s pattern of behavior,” adding, “I think we clearly expressed our displeasure by his offensive comments, and an apology would be a natural next step.” http://www.charismamag.com/blogs/standing-with-israel/20055-israel-s-defense-ministry-united-against-american-pressure http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2014/03/us-israel-security-plan-kerry-yaalon-security-apparatus.html
Headline: US Limiting Visas for IDF Officers
The US has been limiting the issuing of visas to IDF officers, people who work for Mossad or the Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet), and Israelis connected to other security-related bodies that are connected with the Israeli presence in the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria, writes Globes. According to pro-Israeli sources on Capitol Hill, the limitations are part of an effort to make sure that visas are not granted to people who violate human rights in Judea and Samaria. State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Friday that Israel will not be included in the list of countries whose citizens can enter the US without a visa, because of the way the Jewish state treats Palestinian Americans at its border crossings. “The Department of Homeland Security and State remain concerned with the unequal treatment that Palestinian Americans and other Americans of Middle Eastern origin experience at Israel’s border and checkpoints, and reciprocity is the most basic condition of the Visa Waiver Program,” Psaki said in her daily briefing with reporters. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/178916#.UzMnSYXwrCY

Headline: Kerry in Jordan in bid to salvage peace talks Headline: Kerry to meet Abbas in Amman in last ditch effort to salvage talks
US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Jordan Wednesday in a fresh bid to keep his Middle East peace bid on track, amid fears Israel may renege on a promise to free Palestinian prisoners and just after Arab leaders said they would never recognize Israel as a Jewish state. Kerry, interrupting a visit to Rome, was due to meet first with Jordan’s King Abdullah II before holding talks with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas over dinner in a bid to “continue to narrow the gaps” between the two sides, his spokeswoman said. Under the terms of a July deal for the relaunch of the talks, Israel said it would release 104 Arabs held since before the 1993 Oslo peace accords in exchange for the Palestinians not pressing their statehood claims via the UN. http://www.timesofisrael.com/kerry-in-jordan-in-bid-to-salvage-peace-talks/ http://www.jpost.com/Diplomacy-and-Politics/Kerry-to-meet-Abbas-in-Amman-in-last-ditch-effort-to-salvage-talks-346495
Headline: Abbas: Israel Trying to Get Out of Releasing Terrorists
Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas launched a tirade against Israel on Tuesday, accusing the Jewish state of being responsible for the peace talks not progressing. Speaking at the Arab League summit in Kuwait, Abbas also accused the Israeli government of trying to get out of releasing the fourth batch of terrorists that it agreed to release as a “gesture” to Abbas. “The Israeli government is trying to dodge an agreement it had with the U.S. administration to release pre-Oslo Palestinian prisoners,” Abbas said, according to the Ma’an news agency. “The Israeli government took every chance to foil the American efforts. This proves what we say about the lack of seriousness and preparedness of the Israeli government to withdraw and create peace,” he charged. He went out to accuse Israel of trying to split the Temple Mount in such a way that will have Jews and Muslims worshiping separately. “There is coordination with Jordan, which supports the Islamic endowments in Jerusalem, and Morocco which leads the Al-Quds (Jerusalem) committee in order not to let that happen,” declared Abbas. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/178906#.UzMnfoXwrCY
Headline: Abbas refuses to discuss framework accord before prisoner release
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas refuses to discuss the American framework accord for the continuation of peace talks with Israel until the fourth and final group of Palestinian prisoners is released, a Palestinian source told AFP on Wednesday. Speaking to reporters Wednesday in Kuwait, Abbas said he was still waiting to receive a formal framework proposal from US Secretary of State John Kerry. He said there have been no talks on extending negotiations beyond the April deadline, adding that the coming month would be “a very important period.” Kerry had to interrupt his visit to Europe with President Barack Obama to jet to Amman on Tuesday seeking to rescue his faltering Middle East peace bid, amid fears Israel may scrap plans to free Palestinian prisoners. According to the Palestinian official, Kerry has asked Abbas to send the PLO’s chief peace negotiator, Saeb Erekat, to Rome for a meeting with the secretary of state, but Abbas refused. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4503748,00.html
Headline: PA Foreign Minister: Agreement With Israel to be ‘Non-Binding’
The Palestinian Authority’s Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki has claimed that the upcoming framework agreement with Israel will be “non-binding”, and that the PA was likely to take unilateral steps against Israel following the end of the nine-month negotiating period. Speaking to pan-Arab Asharq al-Awsat at the sidelines of the Arab League conference n Kuwait, Maliki criticized the US-brokered talks, which are set to expire at the end of next month, and reiterated the PA’s opposition to extending the length of the negotiation process. “We are committed, along with the US administration, to the nine-month period which ends on April 29,” he said. “When the nine months end, if there is something that justifies extra time, it will be discussed on the level of the Palestinian leadership and then our Arab brothers will be consulted about the issue before any decision is taken… Any amendment to the negotiation formula requires confirmation from the Arab side.” One crucial condition for extending talks, said Maliki, was a full construction freeze in all Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/178937#.UzMnFYXwrCY

Headline: Jordanian king vows to protect Jerusalem
Jordan’s King Abdullah II said his country will protect Jerusalem and stand up to “Israeli violations,” in a speech to the Arab Summit in Kuwait Tuesday. Abdullah’s speech to the Arab League Summit in Kuwait came as tensions between Israel and Jordan have bubbled up over demands by Knesset lawmakers that Israel impose sovereignty over the Temple Mount. Jordan “will work to help Jerusalem’s Arab population stay on their land, support their steadfastness, strengthen their presence and stand up to address Israeli violations and measures, particularly those targeting Al Aqsa Mosque, by all available means and in coordination with our brothers in the State of Palestine,” Abdullah said, referring to the mosque atop the disputed holy site. A Knesset debate in February on Israeli sovereignty over the Temple Mount set off intense criticism in the Arab world, particularly from Jordan, where Prime Minister Abdullah Nsur warned that Amman might review its peace agreement with Israel. http://www.timesofisrael.com/jordanian-king-vows-to-protect-jerusalem/
Headline: Three killed in fighting in Lebanon’s Tripoli
At least three people were killed in fighting between rival religious sects in Lebanon’s second city on Wednesday, medical and security sources said, as violence from Syria spills over into the small Mediterranean country. The dead in the coastal city of Tripoli included an 11-year-old boy, as well as two men, the sources said. The long-running rivalry between Tripoli’s Sunni Muslims and members of the Alawite sect, an offshoot of Shi’ite Islam, has been worsened by Syria’s three-year-old conflict. The civil war has become increasingly sectarian as mostly Sunni rebels – who represent the majority in Syria – battle President Bashar Assad, an Alawite. That has in turn exacerbated tensions in Lebanon, which is home to Sunnis, Shi’ites, Christians and a number of smaller sects, and is still recovering from its own 1975-90 civil war. At least 27 people have been killed in fighting in Tripoli over roughly the last two weeks, including one Lebanese soldier. http://www.jpost.com/Breaking-News/Sources-Three-killed-in-fighting-in-Lebanons-Tripoli-346589
Headline: Fierce clashes kill two students at Cairo University
At least two students have been killed and several others injured in fresh clashes between Egypt’s security forces and student protesters at Cairo University. The killings occurred when security forces fired tear gas and rubber pellets to disperse the crowds denouncing the recent mass death sentences handed to Muslim Brotherhood members. More than a dozen people were wounded in following clashes between supporting and opposing students. The rallies were called at Cairo and Zagazig universities by Brotherhood members. Reports say groups of pro-Morsi students also protested at Zagazig University. The development came after mass sentences were given to over 500 supporters of ousted president, Mohamed Morsi, over the murder of a police officer, among other charges, last August. http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2014/03/26/356123/two-students-killed-in-egypt-clashes/
Headline: Egypt army chief to resign ahead of presidential bid Headline: Egypt army presents Sisi resignation to president
Egypt’s military chief, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, will soon announce his resignation to run for the upcoming presidential vote. On Wednesday, el-Sisi met with the country’s military council to inform it of his plan to resign as defense minister in order to officially announce his presidential bid. Local media reports say Sisi will announce his decision in a broadcast statement. Sisi was appointed as the general commander of the armed forces and defense minister by the country’s ousted president, Mohamed Morsi, back in 2012. Months later though he played a key role in masterminding Morsi’s downfall following a wave of protests. The latest developments come after the council of military leaders recently released a statement giving its blessing to Sisi’s presidential bid, calling it an “obligation” based on popular demand. http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2014/03/26/356112/sisi-to-resign-prior-to-presidential-bid/ http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4503788,00.html

Gulf leaders urge international community to arm rebels fighting against President Assad.Arab leaders called Wednesday for a political solution to the conflict in Syria, overlooking Saudi-backed demands for greater military support for rebel forces to tip the balance in the war.Syria’s opposition National Coalition chief Ahmed Jarba called at the opening of the summit for the rebels to be supplied with “sophisticated” weaponry.“I do not ask you for a declaration of war,” he said in a speech to Arab leaders, calling for pressure on world powers to fulfill pledges to supply arms.Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, whose country is a key backer of the revolt against Syrian President Bashar Assad, said the world was “betraying” rebels by failing to arm them and leaving them “easy prey”.But the final declaration read out at the end of the summit called instead for a political solution to the three-year conflict“We call for a political solution to the crisis in Syria based on the Geneva I communique,” calling for a peaceful transition of power, they said. The communique, drawn up at an international conference in 2012 in the Swiss city, calls for a “peaceful transition” in Syria without specifying the fate of Assad.“We strongly condemn the massacres committed by the Syrian regime against unarmed people,” leaders of the 22-member Arab League said. They reaffirmed their “total support for the Syrian National Coalition as a legitimate representative of the Syrian people.” Although last year’s annual Arab summit, held in Doha, allocated Syria’s seat to the National Coalition, it remained vacant at Kuwait’s meeting. The opposition has yet to meet the legal requirements, according to Arab League chief Nabil al-Arabi, whose organisation is divided over the conflict in Syria. http://www.timesofisrael.com/arab-summit-backs-syria-political-solution/ http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2014/03/opposition-fail-get-syria-arab-league-seat-2014326144447997621.html
Headline: Syrian rebels and army clash over coastal town
Syrian rebels and government forces clashed over another coastal town in Latakia province on Wednesday, as opposition fighters slowly pressed their advance in the heartland of President Bashar Assad’s minority Alawite sect after seizing a border crossing and their first coastal strip since the uprising began three years ago. The fighting in the town of Qastal Maaf is part of an assault that began on Saturday in Latakia province by an array of rebels from conservative and Islamic groups, including the al-Qaida affiliated Nusra Front. Late Tuesday, the rebels moved onto Qastal Maaf after seizing a hilltop area known as Observatory 45. Activists said the Observatory 45 was important because it overlooked the mountains of the Latakia where there are dozens of opposition-held villages. http://english.alarabiya.net/en/News/middle-east/2014/03/26/Syrian-rebels-and-army-clash-over-coastal-town.html
Headline: 10 killed, 20 wounded in attacks across Iraq
Ten people were killed and 20 others wounded in separate violent attacks across Iraq on Wednesday, police and medical sources said. In Anbar province, four civilians were killed and seven others wounded by artillery bombardment on several neighborhoods in the city of Fallujah, some 50 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. Also in Fallujah, gunmen planted bombs in five houses of local officials and security officers and blew them up. But the blasts caused no human casualties as the families of the officials and officers had left their houses. Anbar province has been the scene of fierce clashes that flared up after Iraqi police dismantled an anti-government protest site outside Ramadi in late December last year. Elsewhere, two policemen were killed when gunmen attacked their checkpoint at a marketplace in the city of Shirqat, some 280 km north of Baghdad. In a separate incident, a car bomb near the house of a police officer in the city of Baiji, some 200 km north of Baghdad, was detonated in the morning, wounding five civilians and damaging several nearby houses. http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/world/2014-03/26/c_126320540.htm
Headline: Moroccan police stop protesters setting themselves on fire
Moroccan police spraying water cannon stopped 13 unemployed blind university graduates from setting themselves on fire in Rabat on Wednesday in protest against a public sector hiring freeze. The graduates had tied themselves together with ropes around their necks to block a main Rabat street, poured fuel over their clothes and threatened to set themselves on fire, a Reuters journalist at the scene said. Morocco, which brought in the austerity measures in January, faces demands from international lenders to reduce deficits and cut public spending, which has risen as Rabat sought to calm the kind of popular discontent seen in the Arab Spring revolts. Those revolts began in 2011 after street vendor Mohamed Bouazizi set himself ablaze in the Tunisian city of Sidi Bouzid in a protest against police harassment there. Unemployed graduates have long demonstrated for jobs in the Moroccan capital but their movement has gained strength since the start of the austerity program. Rabat police moved in quickly to spray the blind protesters with water cannon to dampen the fuel before chasing them away using batons. Hundreds of chanting protesters demanding jobs in the public sector joined them in support. http://news.yahoo.com/moroccan-police-stop-protesters-setting-themselves-fire-184557493–business.html
Headline: Ukriane crisis: Russia is a regional power – but US is most powerful nation in the world, Obama warns Putin Headline: U.S., Ukraine to join international military drill in Bulgaria
The US President, Barack Obama, has issued a warning to Russia’s Vladimir Putin to keep his troops out of Ukraine or face even tougher sanctions, calling Russia a “regional power” which would struggle to compete with America’s global influence. So far, Washington and the European Union (EU) have responded to President Putin’s annexation of Crimea this month with sanctions on dozens of individuals, most of them directly linked to Mr Putin’s actions in Crimea after his ally Viktor Yanukovych was ousted by protesters in Kiev. Those diplomatic moves have so far had little effect in Moscow, and Western leaders have faced criticism that they are not being tough enough in the face of a more muscular Russia. Mr Obama appeared to meet such criticism by making clear that the US is “the most powerful nation in the world” and one that other countries looked to in order to take the lead on global crises such as the conflict in Syria. Asked at a nuclear-security conference in The Hague whether Russia was now Washington’s top geopolitical foe, he replied: “America’s got a whole lot of challenges.” But Russia, he added, “is a regional power that is threatening some of its immediate neighbours, not out of strength but out of weakness. We [the US] have considerable influence on our neighbours. We generally don’t need to invade them in order to have a strong co-operative relationship with them.”
Headline: In military rout, Russia seizes 51 Ukrainian ships in Crimea
In its invasion and annexation of Crimea, Russia has seized 51 vessels belonging to the Ukrainian navy, according to information compiled by Dmitry Tymchuk, director of the Center of Military and Political Research in Kyiv. Among the Ukrainian vessels reportedly captured by the Russians are submarine Zaporizhia, management ship Slavutych, landing ship Konstantin Olshansky, landing ship Kirovohrad, minesweeper Chernihiv and minesweeper Cherkasy. The Cherkasy was the last of the ships to have been overtaken following weeks of threats and ultimatums to surrender. It was finally chased down and overtaken by the Russian navy on March 25 after failing to slip past a blockade of two ships intentionally sunk by the Russians to trap it and other vessels in a narrow gulf, keeping them from escaping into the Black Sea. http://www.kyivpost.com/content/ukraine/russia-reportedly-seizes-51-ukrainian-ships-in-crimea-340929.html

Headline: How rumor sparked panic and three-day bank run in Chinese city
The rumor spread quickly. A small rural lender in eastern China had turned down a customer’s request to withdraw 200,000 yuan ($32,200). Bankers and local officials say it never happened, but true or not the rumor was all it took to spark a run on a bank as the story passed quickly from person to person, among depositors, bystanders and even bank employees. Savers feared the bank in Yancheng, a city in Sheyang county, had run out of money and soon hundreds of customers had rushed to its doors demanding the withdrawal of their money despite assurances from regulators and the central bank that their money was safe. The panic in a corner of the coastal Jiangsu province north of Shanghai, while isolated, struck a raw nerve and won national airplay, possibly reflecting public anxiety over China’s financial system after the country’s first domestic bond default this month shattered assumptions the government would always step in to prevent institutions from collapsing. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Revelation 6:3-4 speaks of the fiery red horse given power to make men slay one another and Revelation 6:8 speaks again of this red horse in conjunction with the pale horse of Death and Hades, as the one that has the power to kill by sword. Weapons of Mass Destruction Zechariah 14:12 “And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.”
Headline: North Korea test-fires ballistic missiles as Barack Obama holds Japan-South Korea summit
North Korea has test-fired two ballistic missiles, as US President Barack Obama hosted a landmark Japan-South Korea summit and pledged “unwavering commitment” to Tokyo and Seoul’s security concerns in the face of Pyongyang’s nuclear threat. South Korea’s defence ministry said both missiles flew 650 kilometres (400 miles) into the Sea of Japan, upping the ante after a series of short-range missile and rocket launches by the North in recent weeks. A ministry spokesman said the missiles were believed to be Rodong variants, which are considered medium-range at their maximum reach of between 1,000 and 1,500 kilometres. UN Security Council resolutions prohibit North Korea from conducting any ballistic missile tests. The United States responded to North Korea’s test firing, saying it represented “a troubling and provocative escalation.” http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/northkorea/10723187/North-Korea-test-fires-ballistic-missiles-as-Barack-Obama-holds-Japan-South-Korea-summit.html
Headline: China to have nuclear missiles on subs soon: US admiral
China for the first time will likely have subs equipped with long-range nuclear missiles later this year, part of an increasingly potent submarine fleet, a top US officer said Tuesday, The head of US Pacific Command, Admiral Samuel Locklear, said the latest class of Chinese subs would be armed with a new ballistic missile with an estimated range of 4,000 nautical miles (7,500 kilometers). “This will give China its first credible sea-based nuclear deterrent, probably before the end of 2014,” Locklear told the Senate Armed Services Committee. Locklear was referring to the production of China’s JIN-class nuclear powered ballistic missile submarine and the new JL-2 missile on board the vessel. “China’s advance in submarine capabilities is significant. They possess a large and increasingly capable submarine force,” the admiral said. In October, Chinese state media for the first time showed images of the country’s nuclear-powered submarines, touting it as a “credible second-strike nuclear capability.” Locklear said China’s submarine modernization effort was impressive. “I think they’ll have in the next decade or so a fairly well modernized force of probably 60 to 70 submarines which is a lot of submarines for a regional power,” he said. China now has five nuclear attack submarines, four nuclear ballistic missile submarines, and 53 diesel attack submarines, according to Jess Karotkin of the Office of Naval Intelligence. http://news.yahoo.com/china-nuclear-missiles-subs-soon-us-admiral-174708006.html
[Hosea 4:1-3] “There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. Because of this the land mourns, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the fish of the sea are dying.
Luke 21:9 and Matthew 24:7 speak of nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom in the end times. Revelation 6:3-4 speaks of the fiery red horse given power to make men slay one another and Revelation 6:8 speaks again of this red horse in conjunction with the pale horse of Death and Hades, as the one that has the power to kill by sword. I like to call this “The Arab Spring in Prophecy” because for us it is easy to identify- that’s what the world calls it. Luke 21:9: wars & commotions; the Greek word here is Akatastasia, meaning instability, a state of disorder, disturbance, confusion (revolutions) Matthew 24:7: the Greek word for nation is Ethnos & refers to various ethnic groups fighting among themselves, where the next sentence in the verse refers to kingdoms (basileiva) fighting one another (not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom)
Headline: Venezuela arrests three air force generals ‘plotting coup’
Venezuela has arrested three air force generals accused of plotting a coup in league with opposition politicians during the country’s rumbling civil unrest, the president said on Tuesday. The move follows weeks of violence around anti-government protests that have killed 36 people in the nation’s worst unrest for a decade. In recent years, Venezuela’s socialist government has routinely accused its rivals of scheming to seize power by force and assassinate its leaders, although it has rarely followed up with concrete proof of such headline-grabbing claims. “Last night we captured three generals … who tried to raise the air force against the legitimate, constitutional government,” President Nicolas Maduro said on state TV during a meeting with South American foreign ministers in Caracas. He did not name the officers, but said the plot was revealed by colleagues of the generals who were “alarmed” when they heard of the conspiracy. The three were now in custody of military courts. “This group has direct links with sectors of the opposition. They were saying that this would be the decisive week … in the belief that Venezuela did not know how to defend itself.” http://www.smh.com.au/world/venezuela-arrests-three-air-force-generals-plotting-coup-20140326-zqmyl.html
Bahraini forces have once again attacked anti-regime protesters as demonstrations continue in various parts of the country. On Wednesday, demonstrations against the unrelenting crackdown on pro-democracy uprising continued in several villages across the tiny Persian Gulf country. Anti-regime demonstrations were also held in the villages of A’ali, Samahich, and Diraz, as well as on the island of Sitra, east of the capital Manama. According to reports, Bahraini riot police fired tear gas and stun grenades to disperse protesters in the village of al-Aker. The protesters reportedly expressed solidarity with detainees, condemning the “unjust sentences” against them. Almost daily protests have been held against the Al Khalifa regime since February 2011, when thousands of pro-democracy protesters took to the streets, calling for the royal family to leave power. http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2014/03/26/356056/bahrain-forces-attack-protesters/
