JEWISH TEMPLE MOUNT LOBBY ESTABLISHED IN ISRAEL’S PARLIAMENT ON 9TH OF AV
On the eve of the 9th of Av, the the Temple Mount lobby was established in the Israel’s Knesset, The lobby is headed by Knesset Members Ariel Kalner and May Golan of the ruling Likud party. The two lawmakers noted that the the lobby’s mission is to strengthen Jewish sovereignty aw well as presence on the Temple Mount. Kallner added that “it’s symbolic that we established the lobby on the eve of the 9th of Av fast.” He told Breaking Israel News that the lobby will operate “to strengthen our grip on the holy site. It is no coincidence that the Temple’s menorah is also the symbol of the sovereign State of Israel and the resurrection of the Jewish people in its land.” Adding a blessing, Kallner stated: May these days turn from mourning into festivities.”

Jordan calls on Israel to respect Al-Aqsa mosque sanctity
The Jordanian government has called on Israel to respect the sanctity of Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, which recently reopened to Muslim worshippers after a two-month closure due to the coronavirus. In a diplomatic note to Tel Aviv, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated that Israel as an occupying power should ‘respect the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif, and end all provocations and violations there,’ state news agency Petra reported. The ministry’s spokesperson Deifallah Al-Fayez condemned the continued Israeli violations at the mosque, the most recent of which was the ‘Israeli occupation forces allowing hundreds of Jewish extremists to storm the mosque’, Petra added.

Eurozone economies declined by record 12.1% in 2nd quarter
The collective economies of most of the European Union saw a record decline during the second quarter of 2020, data showed Friday. Gross domestic product for the Eurozone declined by 12.1% in the April-June period. The zone, which includes 19 of the 27 EU member states, saw a decline of only 3.6% in the first quarter by comparison. The figure represents the largest single-quarter decline in Eurozone history. GDP also tumbled about 12% throughout the broader European Union in the second quarter. Spain’s economy saw the greatest decline, 18.5%, while Portugal’s was down 14.1%. France’s economy saw a decline of 13.8%, Italy’s 12.4% and Belgium’s 12.2%. “These were by far the sharpest declines observed since time series started in 1995,” Eurostat said in a statement. “These preliminary GDP flash estimates are based on data sources that are incomplete and subject to further revisions under the COVID-19 containment measures.” Thursday, data showed the U.S. economy also declined by a record 33% in the second quarter.

Almost 30 Million in U.S. Didn’t Have Enough to Eat Last Week
Food insecurity for U.S. households last week reached its highest reported level since the Census Bureau started tracking the data in May, with almost 30 million Americans reporting that they’d not had enough to eat at some point in the seven days through July 21. In the bureau’s weekly Household Pulse Survey, roughly 23.9 million of 249 million respondents indicated they had “sometimes not enough to eat” for the week ended July 21, while about 5.42 million indicated they had “often not enough to eat.” The survey, which began with the week ended May 5, was published Wednesday. The number of respondents who sometimes had insufficient food was at its highest point in the survey’s 12 weeks. The number who often experienced food insufficiency was at its highest since the week ended May 26.

FedCoin: A New Digital Dollar Scheme For Tyranny Coming Soon?
US government outlines plans for “unhackable” national quantum internet
If some Congress members get their way, the Federal Reserve may soon be able to track many of your purchases in real time and share that information with government agencies. This is just one of the problems with the proposed “digital dollar” or “FedCoin.” FedCoin was initially included in the first coronavirus spending bill. While the proposal was dropped from the final version of the bill, there is still great interest in FedCoin on Capitol Hill. Some progressives have embraced FedCoin as a way to provide Americans with a “universal basic income.” Both the Senate Banking Committee and the House Financial Services Committee held hearings on FedCoin in June. This is the first step toward making FedCoin a reality. FedCoin would not be an actual coin. Instead, it would be a special account created and maintained for each American by the Federal Reserve. Each month, Fed employees could tap a few keys on a computer and — bingo — each American would have dollars added to his Federal Reserve account. This is the 21st century equivalent of throwing money from helicopters. FedCoin was initially included in the first coronavirus spending bill. While the proposal was dropped from the final version of the bill, there is still great interest could affect private cryptocurrencies. Also, it would limit the ability of private citizens to protect themselves from the Federal Reserve-caused decline in the dollar’s value.

NFL players can be fined for church attendance under league’s COVID-19 policy
NFL players could be fined, docked game checks, and lose contract guarantees for attending indoor church services that are too crowded, Pro Football Talk reported. The rule is among restrictions agreed to between the NFL and the players union as they prepare for the 2020 season in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio writes: Per multiple sources, the deal specifically prohibits players from engaging in certain behaviors this season. Players cannot attend indoor night clubs, indoor bars (except to pickup food), indoor house parties (with 15 or more people), indoor concerts, professional sporting events, or indoor church services that allow attendance above 25 percent of capacity. Players can be fined for violating these rules. Moreover, if they test positive after engaging in prohibited activities, they will not be paid for the games they miss. Also, future guarantees in their contracts would be voided.
