PROPHECY: Promises of treasures hidden in the sea and sand
“They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand. And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head. And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel. And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion’s whelp: he shall leap from Bashan. And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south. And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil” (Deuteronomy 33:19-24).
In 2022, we again witnessed God’s promise that in the end times Israel would discover gas and oil. I quote the Jewish Press. The headline: “Energean Discovers Gas off Israel’s Shore near Karish and Tanin Fields”. “Eastern Mediterranean-focused oil and gas producer Energean has made a new commercial gas discovery off the coast of Israel, the company announced Monday.” “Energean said it had discovered 8 billion cubic meters of natural gas in its Athena exploration well, a figure that falls short of the company’s estimates of a 21 bcm resource, which it included in an investor presentation last month.” “Athena could also form part of a new development of fields off the coast of Israel adding that initial data suggested the region the company calls the Olympus Area could contain 58 bcm of gas” (Jewish Press May 9, 2022).
There is no doubt now Israel is becoming one of the richest nations on the planet. These oil and gas findings just may be the prelude to the Ezekiel 38 war where we see Israel’s enemies coming down against Israel to take a spoil. I believe that part of this spoil is in fact the gas and oil in Israel’s possession. You can read about this in my book where I will cover this Ezekiel war in chapter 11.
We are witnessing sign after sign we are in those last days Jesus warned us. Signs like the oil and gas blessing is going missed by all the people who do not know the last days signs.
