NEW YORK (Reuters) – – Nearly 15 percent of people worldwide believe the world will end during their lifetime and 10 percent think the Mayan calendar could signify it will happen in 2012, according to a new poll. The end of the Mayan calendar, which spans about 5,125 years, on December 21, 2012 has sparked interpretations and suggestions that it marks the end of the world. "Whether they think it will come to an end through the hands of God, or a natural disaster or a political event, whatever the reason, one in seven thinks the end of the world is coming," said Keren Gottfried, research manager at Ipsos Global Public Affairs which conducted the poll for Reuters.

Is this part of God's curse that has fallen on America for messing with Israel? God used hail to pass judgment in the past and He shows us He will use it in the future again.
The LORD will cause men to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.” Two chapters further, Isaiah again points to hail. Isaiah 32:19 says, “Though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely”. Joshua 10:11 also address the subject of hail as a judgment from the Lord. "And it came about as they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth-horon, that the Lord threw large stones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died; there were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the sons of Israel killed with the sword."
Take note how God has dealt with those who oppose Him in the past, and take careful notice what He tells you about the future. I now quote our Lord Jesus from Revelation 16:21. “From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.”

Headline: Israel fortifies border fence with Lebanon
Israel has begun fortifying a fence along its volatile border with Lebanon, reinforcing an especially dangerous section that has been susceptible to sniper fire and other threats, IDF officials said Tuesday. The IDF said the project was strengthening a one-kilometer (half-mile) section of an existing fence in Israeli territory, and no modifications to the route were being made. Even so, to avoid friction, it said construction was coordinated with the Lebanese army and the UN peacekeeping force in the area, UNIFIL. Israel has no diplomatic relations with Lebanon.
