   Texas Governor Deems Religious Services Essential

As authorities arrest pastors for holding Sunday services in defiance of social distancing orders, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced Tuesday that religious services are to be considered essential in his state. Abbott issued an executive order relating to statewide continuity of essential services and activities during the coronavirus pandemic. The order mandated that all Texans will minimize social gatherings and in-person contact with people who are not in the same household, and, among other statutes, clarified that religious services conducted in churches, congregations, and houses of worship are to be considered essential services.

  Jaffa riots continue for a second day, rocks thrown towards firefighters

A number of young people in Jaffa, some of which were minors, set fire to dumpsters and threw rocks and bricks toward the road on Yefet Street, later throwing rocks at a fire truck which arrived on the scene on Thursday to extinguish the dumpster-fire. As a result, two firefighters suffered minor injuries and the truck received minor damage. Later on Thursday, police arrested a 17-year-old Jaffa resident in suspicion of arson and throwing rocks, finding incendiary devices in his possession after conducting a search. On Wednesday, A riot erupted in Jaffa after police arrested a man who allegedly violated the Health Ministry’s coronavirus quarantine orders, police reported. Dozens of people took part in the protest, which also took place on Yefet street, n the Ajami neighborhood of Jaffa, where many Arab-Israelis reside.

Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar- Media Interview

Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was interviewed on April 2, 2020 by Hama’s Al-Aqsa TV and Shehab News Agency. Addressing Israeli Minister of Defense Naftali Bennett, Sinwar said that the prophecies in Chapter 17 of the Book of Ezekiel are about to come true for the Zionist entity. He said that Bennett and Israel have a “Merchant of Venice mentality.” In addition, Sinwar emphasized that Hamas does not need any aid from Israel during the coronavirus pandemic, and he threatened that Hamas will make six million settlers unable to breathe if Gazans start dying as a result of not having enough ventilators. He also said that the Al-Qassam Brigades have been working day and night towards the liberation of Palestine, and that the coronavirus was sent by God as retribution for the move of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and because God is not pleased about how things in the world are being run.

  Social unrest rising as Italy’s lockdown enters 4th week

As Italy enters its fourth week under lockdown, tensions are building across the poorest southern regions of Campania, Calabria, Sicily and Puglia as people run out of food and money. The number of checkpoints has increased nationwide to discourage people from going out. But instead of staying home as required by the government, there have been reports of shop owners being pressured to give food for free, and police are patrolling supermarkets in some areas to stop thefts. Small but vocal crowds of unemployed have gathered in front of city halls in the south, calling for financial help to buy food. “Give us something, it’s tough,” read a sign protesters held up in the city of Messina. Police dispersed the crowd and identified some of the demonstrators. “They haven’t been working for weeks as everything has stopped because of coronavirus. Now they have no money left to buy food, and they don’t qualify for state aid,” said a policeman, adding that some of his colleagues gave demonstrators sandwiches and cigarettes to calm them down. Similar scenes were witnessed in the Naples and Bari hinterland. Investigators are concerned that this could be a visible sign that the situation is heating up

Unlike in the 2008 financial crisis when a glut of subprime debt, layered with trillions in CDOs and CDO squareds, sent home prices to stratospheric levels before everything crashed scarring an entire generation of homebuyers, this time the housing sector is facing a far more conventional problem: the sudden and unpredictable inability of mortgage borrowers to make their scheduled monthly payments as the entire economy grinds to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic. And unfortunately this time the crisis will be far worse, because as Bloomberg reports mortgage lenders are preparing for the biggest wave of delinquencies in history. And unless the plan to buy time works – and as we reported earlier there is a distinct possibility the Treasury’s plan to provide much needed liquidity to America’s small businesses may be on the verge of collapse – an even worse crisis may be coming: mass foreclosures and mortgage market mayhem. Borrowers who lost income from the coronavirus, which is already a skyrocketing number as the 10 million new jobless claims in the past two weeks attests, can ask to skip payments for as many as 180 days at a time on federally backed mortgages, and avoid penalties and a hit to their credit scores. But as Bloomberg notes, it’s not a payment holiday and eventually homeowners they’ll have to make it all up. According to estimates by Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi, as many as 30% of Americans with home loans – about 15 million households – could stop paying if the U.S. economy remains closed through the summer or beyond.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said his country is ready to work with the Trump administration to halt the freefall of oil prices. His comments come after a phone call with President Trump earlier this week. Putin also noted that the daily oil output should be cut by around 10 million barrels, as there is lower demand due to coronavirus. Oil prices went started dwindling after OPEC+ countries disagreed on production cuts, with Saudi Arabia refusing to lower the output. With an ongoing “price war” between Russia and Saudi Arabia driving prices even further down, US president Trump said on Thursday that “it would be great” if the two countries could make a deal to limit production. Putin had already spoken to Trump by phone earlier this week, and on Friday announced that he is ready to cut production by 10 million barrels per day. No talks between Moscow and Riyadh have yet taken place, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday. However, non-OPEC member Azerbaijan announced that the petroleum bloc and its allies will hold discussions on Monday aimed at restoring “balance to the oil market.”

An unprecedented number of Americans have resorted to food banks for emergency supplies since the coronavirus pandemic triggered widespread layoffs. The demand for food aid has increased as much as eightfold in some areas, according to an investigation by the Guardian, which gives a nationwide snapshot of the hunger crisis facing the US as millions become unemployed. About one in three people seeking groceries at not-for-profit pantries last month have never previously needed emergency food aid, according to interviews with a dozen providers across the country. The national guard has been deployed to help food banks cope with rising demand in cities including Cleveland, Phoenix and St Louis amid growing concerns that supplies may run low as the crisis evolves. Overstretched food pantries are switching to drive-thrus and home deliveries to minimize the spread of Covid-19 as almost 300 million Americans are urged to stay at home.

   Google releases location data to show if coronavirus lockdowns working in 131 countries

Alphabet Inc’s (GOOGL.O) Google on Thursday published reports for 131 countries showing whether visits to shops, parks and workplaces dropped in March, when many governments issued stay-at-home orders to rein in the spread of the novel coronavirus. Google’s analysis of location data from billions of users’ phones is the largest public dataset available to help health authorities assess if people are abiding with shelter-in-place and similar orders issued across the world. Its reports show charts that compare traffic from Feb. 16 to March 29 at subway, train and bus stations, grocery stores and other broad categories of places with a five-week period earlier this year. Facebook Inc (FB.O), which like Google has billions of users, has shared location data with non-governmental researchers that are producing similar reports for authorities in several countries. But the social media giant has not published any findings. Infectious disease specialists have said analyzing travel across groups by age, income and other demographics could help shape public service announcements. Google, which infers demographics from users’ internet use as well as some data given when signing up to Google services, said it was not reporting demographic information. The company said, though, it was open to including additional information and countries in follow-up reports.

Bill Gates Calls for a “Digital Certificate” to Identify Who Received COVID-19 Vaccine

For years, Bill Gates has been at the forefront of research regarding global pandemics and mass vaccination campaigns. In the past decade, Gates went on record several times stating that the world was not ready for a global pandemic. In October 2019 (only a few months before the apparition of COVID-19) the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (in cooperation with the World Economic Forum) hosted Event 201, a 3.5-hour table-top simulation of a global pandemic. Oddly enough, this simulation was about a novel coronavirus that would kill millions. About eight weeks later, an actual novel coronavirus spurred in China. Now Bill Gates has recently stated on Reddit that “digital certificates” will be used to identify who received the upcoming COVID-19 vaccine. And these certificates will also be used to identify who can conduct business or not. Here’s how this plan is already backed by a massive organization called ID2020.

United Nations wants 10% of entire planet’s annual income in fund for coronavirus response

The United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, has announced the creation of a fund for addressing the global coronavirus pandemic – and he is simultaneously asking nations to contribute the equivalent of at least 10 percent of the annual income of the entire planet to a massive “human-centered, innovative and coordinated stimulus package” that would be administered at the international level. Although Guterres doesn’t state it explicitly, he seems to be connecting the new fund, which he calls a “dedicated COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund,” with the massive stimulus package plan, announcing both measures in the same press release. If countries were to accept the plan, the United Nations or some similar coordinating agency would be given the equivalent of approximately 8.7 trillion USD, an unprecedented amount that would be 2,900 times greater than the UN’s annual budget of 3 billion USD. The proposed plan would effectively place a global agency, presumably the UN itself, in charge of propping up the economies of the world during the coronavirus crisis, placing it in charge of 10% of global income.

LGBT Lobby Attacks Rev. Franklin Graham for Christian Outreach in New York

The LGBT lobby group Accountable for Equality has launched an attack on Christian pastor Franklin Graham for recruiting Christian volunteers for coronavirus relief work in New York. As part of their “No Time for Nonsense” campaign, Accountable for Equality issued a press release accusing Rev. Graham and his Christian outreach Samaritan’s Purse of “putting New Yorkers’ lives on the line” by recruiting Christians who believe marriage is the union of one man and one woman. The many Christian volunteers working for Samaritan’s Purse adhere to a statement of Christian principles, including on the nature of matrimony, which basically sums up the traditional view of marriage that reigned in the United States and the rest of the Western world until roughly 2015, and which is still a core teaching of the Catholic Church as well as many other Christian denominations. The gay lobby wants Graham’s money but they do not want the Christian worldview that inspires people to give money to his organization or to volunteer their time to serve others. Accountable for Equality and other LGBT advocacy groups have expressed their revulsion at the idea that a Christian charitable organization should openly appeal for Christian volunteers as Franklin Graham does.

Amazon Delivery Driver Caught On Camera Spitting On Package

A Los Angeles resident has complained that an Amazon delivery driver spit on their package after dropping it off on their porch. The strange delivery was caught on the home owner’s Ring camera. In the footage, the delivery man can be seen approaching the house with the package and then setting it down before spitting on it. He then proceeded to smear his spit around the box. He can then be seen taking a few pictures before leaving. Luckily, a neighbor witnessed the incident and informed the homeowner before they handled the package. The customer said that Amazon apologized and offered him a $50 credit, but he wants the driver to be tested for the coronavirus, just in case.

A petition was filed with the Tel Aviv regional court by the Herzliya Association requesting that the government of Israel bring political and legal pressure against China for acting irresponsibly and endangering the public’s health regarding the outbreak of the coronavirus. The class-action suit filed by lawyers Dr. Shmuel Saadia and Amit Hempel is suing for NIS 100 billion. Israel is not alone in the claimants lining up to sue China. Last week, attorney Robert Eglet announced that he would be filing a lawsuit with the U.S. District Court in Nevada on behalf of five Law Vegas businesses for lost income and profits. The class-action suit purports to represent  32 million businesses as potential claimants.

   Alert Level 2 raised over Piton de la Fournaise volcano as second eruption of the year starts, Reunion

The OVPF has recorded 92 volcano-tectonic earthquakes at the Piton de la Fournaise volcano on April 2, 2020, from 04:15 to 04:51 UTC (08:15 to 08:51 UTC). Following the seismic crisis in the morning and a four-hour lull, another volcanic tremor was at 08:20 UTC (12:20 LT). The prefect of the Reunion Islands decided to implement Alert level 2 before visual confirmation of an eruption. Soon after, an overflight carried out by SAG and the PGHM confirmed the opening of cracks on the eastern flank of the volcano, about 1.7 km (1 mile) from the summit. According to the volcano observatory, the origin of the tremor is on the eastern flank, inside the enclosure. The tremors were associated with rapid deformation, which indicates that magma has left the surface magmatic reservoir and has spread to the surface. Up to 92 tremors occurred early in the morning from 04:15 to 04:51 UTC (08:15 to 08:51 LT), followed by another tremor at 08:20 UTC (12:20 LT). The Prefect of the Reunion Islands has implemented Alert Level 2-2 at 09:00 UTC (13:00 LT) — eruption is in progress.

44% of Americans say virus a “wake up call” to return to God. Nearly 1/3 believe we are living in “what the Bible calls the last days.”

Nearly half of Americans (44%) say they believe that the coronavirus and resulting economic meltdown is a “wake-up call for us to turn back to faith in God,” and/or “signs of coming judgment,” according to a new poll commissioned by The Joshua Fund. The survey was conducted March 23-26, 2020, by nationally respected pollsters McLaughlin & Associates. It was commissioned by The Joshua Fund, an Evangelical non-profit educational and charitable organization founded in 2006 by Joel C. Rosenberg. “This survey provides a fascinating window into how Americans see the COVID-19 pandemic and how it is dramatically increasing their interest in spiritual matters,” said Rosenberg. “The results are clear: this unprecedented global crisis is causing Americans to start reading the Bible and listen to Bible teaching and Christian sermons online, even though they usually don’t; search online for teaching on Bible prophecy and God’s future for mankind; and/or engage in more spiritual conversations with family and friends.” The McLaughlin & Associates questions were asked of 1,000 likely American voters. The poll had a margin of error of +/- 3.1% at a 95% confidence interval. The breakdown of those who believe this crisis is a “wake-up call” back to faith in God includes:

• 25% of self-identified “secular” Americans;
• 42% of Jewish Americans;
• 58% of Republicans; and
• 41% of Democrats, including 34% of liberal Democrats and 47% of moderate Democrats.

Additionally, 22% of self-identified non-Christian respondents and 40% of Christian respondents indicate the global coronavirus pandemic and economic chaos have resulted in more interest in God and spiritual matters.

Islamic Waqf uses Covid-19 as cover to dig under Temple Mount

Photos uploaded on Tuesday to the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf’s official Facebook page showed them conducting unauthorized digs on the Temple Mount. “Despite the closure of the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Haram esh-Sharif due to coronavirus, the staff, workers and guards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque are continuing their hard work,” wrote the Jordanian-backed Wakf which administers the Temple Mount. The Arab Desk of the pro-Israel watchdog group Im Tirtzu, which first reported the unauthorized digs, accused the Waqf of taking advantage of the closure to perform the illegal digs that are aimed at “destroying Jewish artifacts and history.” The holy site was closed last week to stem the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to the highly sensitive nature of the Temple Mount, all digs must be approved by both the Waqf and the Israel Antiquities Authority. Despite this, the Waqf has a long history of conducting illegal digs, most notably in 1999 when they disposed of over 9,000 tons of dirt mixed with invaluable archaeological artifacts that are now being salvaged by The Temple Mount Sifting Project.

Due to Health Ministry restrictions relating to the coronavirus pandemic, the Sanhedrin was forced to cancel the korban Pesach (Passover offering) reenactment for the first time in nine years. As a result, the Sanhedrin is preparing for an actual sacrifice fully consistent with Biblical requirements, brought on the Temple Mount, as a means of ending the pandemic. The Sanhedrin has issued a formal request from the leaders of Israel and the U.S. to allow this to happen. “We received all of the necessary permits and with a great effort we could have performed a reenactment, limiting it to only the people necessary, Rabbi Hillel Weiss, the spokesman for the Sanhedrin, told Breaking Israel News. “But this would not have served any purpose so we chose not to.” “Both of these goals have been achieved to as great a degree as possible at this time,” Rabbi Weiss said. “For this reason, our goal is now to prepare for the reinstatement of the Temple service.”

  Syria: Air defenses down missiles from Israeli warplanes

Syria’s state-run SANA media outlet said that the country’s air defenses opened fire Tuesday night on missiles launched from Israeli warplanes on the central province of Homs, shooting down some of them, state media said. State TV said the warplanes fired the missiles while flying in Lebanese airspace. The outlet said the warplanes targeted a Syrian army position without saying where exactly. It added that some of the missiles were shot down. The Lebanese pro-Hezbollah Al Mayadeen channel reported that the attack was aimed at “military sites east of Homs.” No injuries have so far been reported. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that, “the Israeli Air Force has launched an attack on Shayrat airfield with more than eight missiles.” SANA quoted a Syrian military official as saying: “Around 20:25, the Israeli Air Force launched several missiles at eastern Homs from Lebanon’s airspace. Our air defense systems soon responded to the hostile missiles and intercepted a number of them. Now we are inspecting the results of this aggression.” Residents of the Lebanese capital Beirut heard the sound of warplanes in the air shortly before the airstrikes were reported. There was no immediate comment from Israel.

Iran warned the US Wednesday that it was leading the Middle East to disaster in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic after it deployed Patriot air defense missiles to Iraq. Its deployment to Iraq comes after a spate of rocket and other attacks on bases and other facilities used by US personnel that Washington has blamed on Tehran-backed Shiite militias or Tehran itself. Washington had been in talks with Baghdad about the proposed deployment since January but it was not immediately clear whether it had secured its approval or not. Iran, which wields huge influence in its western neighbor, said that it had not. The US deployment runs “counter to the official position of the Iraqi government, parliament and people,” a foreign ministry statement said. It called for a halt to “warmongering during the coronavirus outbreak” and warned that US military activities in the region could lead it to “instability and disaster.”

Since April 1, 2020, the Bank of Russia has suspended the purchase of gold in the domestic precious metals market. Further decisions on the purchase of gold will be made depending on the development of the situation in the financial market. In recent years, as Kitco notes, the Russian central bank has dominated the gold market, consistently increasing its gold reserves every month for the last three years. According to data from the World Gold Council, the Russian central bank bought 158.1 tons last year. The WGC data shows that the central bank bought 8.1 tons of gold in January. Although Russia will not be adding to its gold reserves in the near future, analysts are not expecting the central bank to start selling its gold anytime soon.

The heads of three global agencies warned Wednesday of the risk of a worldwide “food shortage” if authorities fail to manage the ongoing coronavirus crisis properly. Many governments around the world have put their populations on lockdown causing severe slow-downs in international trade and food supply chains. Panic buying by people going into confinement has already demonstrated the fragility of supply chains as supermarket shelves emptied in many countries. “Uncertainty about food availability can spark a wave of export restrictions, creating a shortage on the global market,” said the joint text signed by Qu Dongyu, head of the U.N.’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO) and Roberto Azevedo, director of the World Trade Organization (WTO). “In the midst of the COVID-19 lockdowns, every effort must be made to ensure that trade flows as freely as possible, specially to avoid food shortage(s)” from developing, they said in their statement. “When acting to protect the health and well-being of their citizens, countries should ensure that any trade-related measures do not disrupt the food supply chain,” they added. Over the longer term confinement orders and travel restrictions risk causing disruptions in agricultural production due to the unavailability of agricultural labor and the inability to get food to markets.

   Europe’s Vision On Central Bank Digital Currency Offers Cautionary Lessons For Cryptocurrency

As discussion is sparked about the inclusion of the “digital dollar” in Congress to help more effectively deliver on rounds of direct stimulus to the American people as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it can be helpful to look at similar instances of thinking central bank digital currencies and what they might portend for cryptocurrencies. The attitudes expressed in the ECBs working paper on central bank digital currencies shows that central banks have tacked onto the problems with cash and conventional banknotes quite sharply, and are looking at digitization as the primary solution. Momentum on this front can only be expanded with the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic and the urgent stimulus response it is pushing forward. People in the cryptocurrency community who expect a government-backed store of value in digital form, or the prioritization of anonymity and privacy of individual-level users in the face of the possibility of instant, comprehensive financial surveillance should, however, think again.

Members have been sent two rival resolutions for consideration — and under new voting rules instituted because the global body isn’t holding meetings, if a single country objects a resolution is defeated. One resolution, which has more than 135 co-sponsors, calls for “intensified international cooperation to contain, mitigate and defeat the pandemic, including by exchanging information, scientific knowledge and best practices and by applying the relevant guidelines recommended by the World Health Organization.” The other, sponsored by Russia with support from Central African Republic, Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela, also recognizes the leading role of WHO in combating the pandemic, but it calls for abandoning trade wars and implementing protectionist measures, and not applying unilateral sanctions without U.N. Security Council approval. General Assembly President Tijjani Muhammad-Bande sent both resolutions to all member states late Monday afternoon under a so-called “silence procedure,” saying they had 72 hours until 6 p.m. EDT on Thursday to send an objection, or break silence.

Social-distancing guidelines to stay 6 feet from others may be woefully inadequate, one scientist warns — saying the coronavirus can travel 27 feet and linger for hours. MIT associate professor Lydia Bourouiba, who has researched the dynamics of coughs and sneezes for years, warns in newly published research that the current guidelines are based on outdated models from the 1930s. Rather than the assumed safety of 6 feet, Bourouiba warns that “pathogen-bearing droplets of all sizes can travel 23 to 27 feet.” Her research, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, also warns that “droplets that settle along the trajectory can contaminate surfaces” — and “residues or droplet nuclei” may “stay suspended in the air for hours.”

  Large Earthquake Strikes Idaho; No Major Damage Reported

A strong earthquake rocked southern Idaho on Tuesday evening and was felt by residents from Nevada to Montana. The quake, which was given a preliminary rating of 6.5 by the U.S. Geological Survey, struck some 78 miles northeast of Boise at 5:52 p.m. local time on Tuesday. Hundreds of residents reported to the USGS that they felt the shaking. “I heard the roar, and at first it sounded like the wind but then the roar was tremendous,” Brett Woolley, a restaurant owner in the town of Stanley, told the Associated Press. “The whole house was rattling, and I started to panic. I’m sitting here perfectly still and the water next to me is still vibrating.” About 30 minutes after the main quake, a 4.8 magnitude aftershock was reported to the southeast. Residents in the area said they felt shaking again during the aftershock. There were more than a half-dozen aftershocks in the hours following the main quake.

Hundreds of homes destroyed as severe flash floods hit Afghanistan

Severe flash floods across Afghanistan have resulted in at least 11 fatalities and hundreds of buildings partially or completely damaged, the country’s Natural Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) said Tuesday, March 31, 2020. According to Ahmad Tamim Azimi, spokesman for the Ministry of State for Natural Disaster and Humanitarian, at least 11 people died while 15 others were injured. Around 288 houses were totally destroyed, 400 were partially damaged, and 30 mosques were hit. The waters ravaged some 500 ha (1 236 acres) of land.

  Gaza Breaks Coronavirus Quarantine to Fire Rockets at Israel

A rocket was fired at Israel from Gaza on Friday evening despite coronavirus restrictions, sending Israelis from the isolation in their homes into crowded bomb shelters. “IDF planes and tanks attacked Hamas military positions and infrastructure used for underground activity in the northern Gaza Strip a short time ago,” the IDF spokesperson stated. “The attacks were carried out in response to the firing of a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip toward Israel earlier this evening.” The decision to fire rockets at Israel comes right after Hamas, the ruling party in Gaza, closed the mosques due to the coronavirus. Hamas also announced that parties and gatherings of mourners would be banned and event halls, restaurants and cafes would be closed.

Lebanon protesters defy coronavirus lockdown, take to streets

Dozens of Lebanese people took to the streets Sunday night to protest the government’s measures to combat the spread of coronavirus, which they said would push the country’s most vulnerable communities deeper into poverty. Spontaneous demonstrations erupted in Beirut’s southern suburbs and the northern city of Tripoli as protesters decried the lockdown that has been in force for more than two weeks to curb the COVID-19 outbreak. On Friday night, security forces forcibly removed dozens of tents in Downtown Beirut that had become a permanent fixture of the city since the outbreak of mass protests in October. A handful of protesters were arrested and later released for attempting to prevent the tents’ removal and burning tires across the main road leading to the square. Interior Minister Mohammad Fahmi said in a televised interview the following day that the removal of the encampment was due to “increasing trespassing and attacks on private property.” However, many protesters accused the government of using coronavirus measures as a cover to remove the final remnants of the mass uprising against the ruling class.

Saudi-UAE coalition carries out air raids on Yemen’s Sanaa

The Saudi-UAE coalition fighting Houthi rebels in Yemen carried out more than a dozen air strikes on the capital Sanaa, the first such attacks on the city in months. According to Houthi-run Al Masirah TV, the coalition launched 19 air raids on Monday. No casualties were reported so far. The attacks on Sanaa came after Saudi Arabia intercepted two ballistic missiles the Houthis said they had launched on Saturday towards Riyadh and southern parts of the kingdom near the Yemeni border. The Houthi attack coincided with the fifth anniversary of Saudi Arabia’s intervention in Yemen’s civil war. Al Jazeera’s Mohammed al-Attab, reporting from Sanaa, said about 25 air strikes hit the capital on Monday, the first such attack on the city in months.

The two spoke by phone on efforts to “defeat the virus and bolster the global economy,” according to its statement. They “agreed it is more important now than ever for countries in conflict, particularly Syria and Libya, to adhere to ceasefires and work toward resolution,” it said.

EU launches new naval mission to police Libya arms embargo

The European Union announced Tuesday the launch of a new naval mission in the Mediterranean Sea aimed at enforcing the U.N. arms embargo on Libya, after Italy blocked a previous operation claiming that the warships attracted migrants to Europe’s shores. The new operation, dubbed Irini, the Greek word for “peace,” will start work for a year from Wednesday. The European Council said it will have as “its core task the implementation of the U.N. arms embargo through the use of aerial, satellite and maritime assets.” “In particular the mission will be able to carry out inspections of vessels on the high seas off the coast of Libya suspected to be carrying arms or related material to and from Libya,” a statement said. It will also gather information about illegal fuel and oil smuggling from Libya and help build up the Libyan coast guard, including by training its personnel.

 Millions of Americans already have lost their jobs due to the coronavirus crisis and the worst of the damage is yet to come, according to a Federal Reserve estimate. Economists at the Fed’s St. Louis district project total employment reductions of 47 million, which would translate to a 32.1% unemployment rate, according to a recent analysis of how bad things could get. The projections are even worse than St. Louis Fed President James Bullard’s much-publicized estimate of 30%. They reflect the high nature of at-risk jobs that ultimately could be lost to a government-induced economic freeze aimed at halting the coronavirus spread. “These are very large numbers by historical standards, but this is a rather unique shock that is unlike any other experienced by the U.S. economy in the last 100 years,” St. Louis Fed economist Miguel Faria-e-Castro wrote in a research paper posted last week.

Eurogroup chief warns of euro breakup amid EU feuding

Eurogroup president Mario Centeno warned the euro single currency could break apart if feuding governments don’t bury the hatchet and agree on a rescue plan to help Italy and Spain. The carefully worded warning came as the 19 members of the single currency still cannot agree on a rescue plan to reverse the devastating impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the European economy. In a letter sent Monday to European finance ministers and seen by AFP, Centeno said national budgets in Europe faced a “colossal shock” commensurate with the coronavirus outbreak itself. “Inevitably, we will all come out of the crisis with much larger debt levels,” added Centeno, who is also Portuguese finance minister. “But this effect and its lasting consequences should not become a source of fragmentation,” he said. Following an ill-tempered EU leaders summit Thursday, the ministers were tasked by the 27 EU heads of state and government to find a response to the crisis.

France’s central bank wants to experiment with integrating digital currencies.On March 27, the Banque de France published a request for proposals for central bank digital currency “experiment” applications. These projects will help France’s central bank understand the risks and mechanisms of CBDCs and also contribute to the eurozone’s digital cash conversation. The call brings France to the front of that debate. It’s the highest-profile eurozone member to launch a CBDC experiment to date (Sweden, whose Riksbank is also toying with digitizing currency, uses the krona). The Banque de France has advocated for experimental and advanced fintech projects for at least four years, sometimes hinting, through job postings and speeches that it was also eyeing development of a CBDC.

Hungary government gets sweeping powers

The Hungarian Parliament has voted by 137 to 53 to accept the government’s request for the power to rule by decree during the coronavirus emergency. The law contains no time limit. Prime Minister Viktor Orban promised to use the extraordinary powers he has been granted “proportionately and rationally”. The leader of the opposition Jobbik party, Peter Jakab, said that the law placed the whole of Hungarian democracy in quarantine. Monday’s vote was controversial – more than 100,000 people had signed a petition against the move. But Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s conservative Fidesz party has a strong majority. The special powers have no time limit and critics say independent journalists could face jail.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio warned the Jewish community that synagogues that continue to defy coronavirus regulations and hold services will be permanently shut down. While the majority of synagogues have closed in accordance with city orders aimed at slowing the spread of coronavirus by limiting social gathering, others have stayed open. “We’ve had extraordinary, across the board rabbinical support from all the different elements of the Jewish community and the same is true of other faiths as well,” de Blasio said in his Friday news briefing, according to The Jewish Press. Some synagogues, however, are still holding minyanim, gatherings of 10 worshipers or more, to hold prayer services. “A small number of religious communities, specific churches and specific synagogues, are unfortunately not paying attention to this guidance even though it’s so widespread,” de Blasio said. “I want to say to all those who are preparing for the potential of religious services this weekend: If you go to your synagogue, if you go to your church, and attempt to hold services after having been told so often not to, our enforcement agents will have no choice but to shut down those services,” he warned, however admitting that he does not “say this with joy.”

The United States Food and Drug Administration issued an emergency use authorization for donated anti-malaria drugs hydroxychloroquine sulfate and chloroquine phosphate as doctors say the drugs are showing positive results for coronavirus patients. The FDA issued the authorization to allow doctors to distribute and prescribe the anti-malaria drugs to hospitalized teen and adult patients who have coronavirus, the Department of Health and Human Services said in a press release. Doctors may distribute and prescribe the drugs “as appropriate, when a clinical trial is not available or feasible.” The emergency authorization was issued to the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response’s Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, which is working with the National Institute of Health to plan clinical trials of the drugs.

Homes Damaged as Tornadoes Strike Mississippi, Alabama

  Large tornado rips through Jonesboro, causing extensive damage, Arkansas

Severe weather moved across the Deep South Tuesday and spawned at least three tornadoes that damaged buildings and knocked down trees and power lines. The mayor of Eufaula, Alabama, told WSFA-TV that about a dozen homes were damaged when a tornado hit around noon CDT. There was one report of a minor injury. Video footage showed the tornado moving through and some of the homes that it hit.Another tornado that earlier moved through Lucedale, Mississippi, about 60 miles southeast of Hattiesburg, destroyed at least one home, WKRG-TV reported. There were also reports of downed trees. High winds caused power outages in Georgia, where at least 56,000 were without power at the peak. About 33,000 remained without power as of 2:15 p.m. EST. An official in Henry County reported that roofs were blown off several hangars at the county’s airport, which is across from Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Gantz elected Knesset Speaker as he heads into unity government

In an event that few would have foreseen, Blue and White appears to have disintegrated as its leader Benny Gantz led his faction into a unity government with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday. Details are still emerging but reports say that Gantz will lead the 15 members of his Israel Resilience party into the government. Israel Resilience is one of the parties that makes up Blue and White, a coalition of parties brought together to better compete against Netanyahu’s Likud. It’s not yet known what position Gantz will fill in the year-and-a-half before he is expected to take on the prime minister’s role. The positions of speaker of the Knesset and foreign minister have been broached.

Western Wall prayer to end coronavirus attracts thousands of viewers

Tens of thousands of people tuned in to watch dozens of worshipers as they came out to pray at the Western Wall on Wednesday evening, praying for the end of the coronavirus ‘plague’ and the speedy recovery of the sick. 50,000 people watched the service live on the Western Wall Heritage Website and on Kol Lashon. The prayer was held on Yom Kippur Katan, the day before the beginning of the month in the Jewish calendar. The service was kept small, as the Western Wall Heritage Foundation stuck to strict adherence to the Health Ministry guidelines, creating designated spaces for the worshipers, and instructing people to keep proper distances apart before, during and after the service. Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz attended the ceremony together with Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion and Deputy Mayor Rabbi Yossi Deutsch.

Between January 21st and March 17th, Alipay – the financial wing of Alibaba – has reportedly publicized five patents related to the future digital currency. China’s approach to stabilizing its economy might significantly vary with the digital currency launch. Cao Yan, managing director of Digital Renaissance Foundation, believes that the People’s Bank of China should accelerate the development of the CBDC. According to him, there are two benefits to this. Firstly, it would establish China’s dominance in this new digitally-oriented world. Secondly, the currency would be more helpful during times of uncertainty.

 Iran refuses to release Christian prisoners despite coronavirus outbreak

Iran’s mullah regime refused on Tuesday to grant a temporary release to four imprisoned Christians amid a release of some 85,000 prisoners, including political prisoners, in an effort to stop the spread of the Middle East’s worst outbreak of the coronavirus. The religious freedom organization Article18 wrote on its website: “Four Iranian Christians serving 10-year sentences in Tehran’s Evin prison are being denied temporary release, even though their requests for retrials have been accepted.” According to Article18, the four Iranian Christians being jailed are Yousef Nadarkhani, 42; Mohammad Reza (Yohan) Omidi, 46; Zaman (Saheb) Fadaei, 36; and Nasser Navard Gol-Tapeh, who is 58 years old and suffers from a number of serious health issues.

 Israeli Researcher Discovers Why Being Male Doubles Risk of Corona Death

Shani Gal-Oz, a doctoral student at Ben-Gurion University specializing in immune system gender differences, explained various factors causing significantly higher mortality rates in men than in women from coronavirus. Though it is known that the elderly and immunocompromised are disproportionately affected by coronavirus and have a much higher rate of mortality, men fall victim to the dreaded virus in staggeringly higher numbers. Gal-Oz offered several insights into this phenomenon. She noted that women develop more macrophage cells from birth than men. Macrophages are a type of white blood cell in the immune system that engulf and digest cellular debris, foreign substances, microbes, cancer cells, and anything else that does not have the type of proteins specific to healthy body cells on its surface. “We have seen that a portion of the macrophage population is active without immune stimulation, a phenomenon that has not been observed in males,” Gal-Oz said, according to The Ladders. “Portions of the X chromosome are involved in the regulation of gene expression of the immune system on other chromosomes and men have an X chromosome and a Y, while women have two copies of the X.”

The meeting for the Group of 20 nations was chaired by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman. The kingdom, which is presiding over the G20 this year, said it organized the extraordinary meeting to advance global efforts to tackle the pandemic and its economic implications as people lose their incomes amid closures, curfews and lockdowns. The meeting comes amid criticism that the world’s wealthiest countries have not taken cohesive action to combat the virus or its economic impact on people around the world.

Millions of locusts cover streets in Oman with footage showing ‘ground moving’

Swarms of locusts have descended on Oman with footage showing what seems to be the floor moving after millions started crawling across the streets. The spooky video taken by Dominic Abu Hanna shows a road covered in the small insects. They all seem to be moving in the same direction which gives the impression that the floor is moving. He claimed in his video – seen more than 4.5million times since it was posted on March 15 – that the insects were ants. But journalist Hassan Hassan has since tweeted: “Omani authorities have responded to videos about a massive swarm of ‘ants’ circulated online, saying those are actually ‘small-size’ locusts.”

 5 earthquakes rattle West Texas; largest is magnitude 5.0

A series of five earthquakes centered near the same remote area of West Texas rattled the region on Thursday. The temblors registered between 3.0 and 5.0 Thursday starting around 4 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was about 25 miles (40 kilometers) west of Mentone in Loving County on the border with New Mexico. The largest was a magnitude 5.0 about six hours later. That quake could be felt as far as 150 miles (245 kilometers) away in El Paso, Texas and neighboring Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. No major damage or injuries were immediately reported in the sparsely populated area.

 Destructive flash floods hit capital Aden, Yemen

Destructive flash floods ripped through Yemen’s capital Aden on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, turning roads into raging rivers and claiming lives of at last two people. At least 4 others were injured. Heavy rains are also expected on Thursday, March 26. Heavy rains caused severe flash flooding across the capital Aden on Wednesday, destroying homes and roads, washing away vehicles and leaving the city without power. Two people– a man and a woman– died after being caught by the waters. Rescuers were able to save the two and send them to a hospital, but the victims passed away before receiving treatment.

Indonesian volcano Mount Merapi spews massive ash in 2nd major eruption this month

Indonesia’s most active volcano Mount Merapi erupted Friday, shooting a column of ash some 5,000 meters (16,000 feet) into the air in its second major eruption this month. Ash and sand covered areas several kilometers away from the peak of the rumbling crater near Indonesia’s cultural capital Yogyakarta. Authorities did not raise Merapi’s alert level. “There has been no reports of damage from the eruption. We urge people to stay calm and not panic,” national disaster mitigation agency spokesman Agus Wibowo said. Merapi erupted earlier this month, shooting a massive ash cloud some 6,000 meters in the air. That eruption coated Yogyakarta and neighboring city Solo with gray dust and forced an airport closure. Mount Merapi’s last major eruption in 2010 killed more than 300 people and forced the evacuation of 280,000 residents.

 After Breaking Law, High Court Accused of Waging ‘Coup’ Against Legislative Branch

Israel’s Supreme Court is being accused of waging a judicial coup after telling the Knesset (Parliament) chairman, Likud MK Yuli Edelstein, to hold a vote on his own resignation. Their ruling added that if the Chairman refuses to hold the vote, the High Court will remove him. Edelstein rejected the ultimatum saying that “the attorney general’s meddling in parliamentary affairs is inappropriate.” The chairman added that he will “hold a vote at a later time when the time is right.” The decision is highly controversial as it is contravenes Israel’s Basic Law which states that the Knesset Chairman is to remain in their role until a new Knesset is sworn in.

 Unity talks stalled over High Court ruling to allow vote for speaker

The prospect of a unity government was fading Tuesday after Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein refused to commit to a date for a vote on his replacement and after the High Court instructed him to bring the matter to a vote by Wednesday at the latest. Likud ministers fumed over Blue & White’s intention to replace the speaker with a member of their own party despite threats to discontinue unity talks. Blue & White party members were equally outraged at what they saw as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s efforts to keep Edelstein in the Speaker’s chair while trampling on the court and in disregard for its authority. Edelstein has yet to announce his decisions after the High Court’s unanimous ruling Monday but had earlier said that the high court was intervening in an unprecedented way in the Knesset time-table in a politically motivated manner,” increasing the tensions between the prime minister’s political camp and the judicial system.

 Afghanistan conflict: Militants in deadly attack on Sikh temple in Kabul

At least 25 people have been killed in a militant attack on a Sikh temple in the Afghan capital Kabul. The interior ministry said a gunman had burst into the complex early in the morning, firing on worshippers. He was killed in an exchange of fire lasting six hours with security forces. Earlier reports said a group of assailants had carried out the attack. About 150 people were trapped in the complex in the Shorbazar area. The Islamic State group claimed the attack. IS has targeted Sikhs and other religious minorities before in Afghanistan. The country’s main militant group, the Taliban, denied any involvement. Nato in Afghanistan called it an outrage.

 Boko Haram kills 92 Chadian soldiers in ‘deadliest attack’

The president of Chad says 92 soldiers have been killed in an attack by Boko Haram militants. President Idriss Déby said the attack early on Monday was the deadliest yet in the five-year campaign by the Islamists. On Tuesday, Nigeria said its 47 soldiers were killed in an ambush by Boko Haram militants in the city of Maiduguri in north-east. The insurgents attacked a convoy which had left the city with a supply of bombs and other ammunition.

 U.S. Congress, negotiators reach deal on $2-trillion coronavirus aid package

U.S. senators and Trump administration officials have reached an agreement on a massive economic stimulus bill to alleviate the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak, the negotiators said on Wednesday. Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer called the measure “the largest rescue package in American history,” describing it as a “Marshall Plan” for hospitals and medical needs, in a reference to the U.S.-funded program that helped rebuild Europe after World War Two. McConnell said the package would rush checks to help Americans pay bills during job layoffs related to the outbreak, expand unemployment insurance and deliver emergency loans to small businesses. It would also “stabilize key national industries” and provide financial help for hospitals and healthcare providers struggling to get equipment for sick patients, he added. The stimulus package had been expected to boost the economy with a massive infusion of aid, including a $500 billion fund to help hard-hit industries with loans and a comparable amount for direct payments of up to $3,000 to millions of U.S. families.

The International Monetary Fund and World Bank on Wednesday called for governments to put a hold on debt payments from the world’s poorest nations so they can battle the coronavirus pandemic. “The World Bank Group and the IMF believe it is imperative at this moment to provide a global sense of relief for developing countries as well as a strong signal to financial markets,” the Washington-based development lenders said in a joint statement. The move is directed at countries that qualify for the most generous aid from the “IDA” fund aimed at the “two-thirds of the world’s population living in extreme poverty.”

It’s not just grocery shoppers who are hoarding pantry staples. Some governments are moving to secure domestic food supplies during the conoravirus pandemic. Kazakhstan, one of the world’s biggest shippers of wheat flour, banned exports of that product along with others, including carrots, sugar and potatoes. Serbia has stopped the flow of its sunflower oil and other goods. Russia is leaving the door open to shipment bans and said it’s assessing the situation weekly. To be perfectly clear, there have been just a handful of moves and no sure signs that much more is on the horizon. Still, what’s been happening has raised a question: Is this the start of a wave of food nationalism that will further disrupt supply chains and trade flows? “We’re starting to see this happening already — and all we can see is that the lockdown is going to get worse,” said Tim Benton, research director in emerging risks at think tank Chatham House in London.

Andorra set to become latest nation to legalize gay marriage

Andorra, one of Europe’s smallest countries, is set to legalize gay marriage, highlighting that eastern European countries with anti-LGBT laws are “on the wrong side of history”, leading human rights specialists said on Monday. A bill presented by the ruling coalition of Andorra, a nation of 80,000 people on the border of France and Spain, will remove the legal distinction between same-sex civil unions and heterosexual weddings. It is expected to take effect in months. “For countries that continue to discriminate against LGBT people and persecute them as they daposto in Russia, (Andorra’s) move is further evidence that they are on the wrong side of history,” said barrister Jonathan Cooper at Doughty Street Chambers. Katrin Hugendubel, advocacy director at LGBT+ rights group ILGA-Europe, stressed that human rights must not be overlooked as the world suffers under the effects of the coronavirus.

 China shame: Christian persecuted amid pandemic as crosses torn down and churches razed

Amid the global pandemic, a Christian non-profit organisation found religious minorities are still facing intense struggles against the Chinese Communist Party. Reports have surfaced of crosses being torn down and churches destroyed in a crackdown against the Christian community within the country. The Voice of the Martyrs, a charity which aims to help oppressed Christians across the world, has studied the climate in China. They have found Chinese officials remain strict on Christians even in the middle of the coronavirus crisis. Todd Nettleton, the organisation’s spokesman, told Fox: “China is now holding itself up as a model for fighting the coronavirus. He added that in Shandong Province, online preaching has been forbidden. In churches all over the world, online ministry has served as a vital part of outreach amid lockdowns, social distancing and self-isolation. In the province, all Christian “meetings without approval” have been forced to shut down. This is currently enforced by the region’s China Christian Council and the Three-Self Patriotic Movement – used to control Christianity in China.

“We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself,” announced President Trump with conviction at the start of his press briefing Monday evening.  As the Senate continues to debate sections of what would be the largest fiscal stimulus in history, Vice President Mike Pence confirmed the largely-anticipated package will include payroll subsidies to small businesses, direct payments of $3,000 to the average family of four, unemployment benefits, and assistance to hospitals and major industries.  “We encourage Congress to act, and ask governors to engage their delegations,” said Pence.Under Section 4512 of the Defense Production Act, President Trump signed an executive order prohibiting the hoarding of vital medical equipment and supplies such as “hand sanitizers, face masks and personal protection equipment.” The secretary of Health and Human Services is now authorized to designate certain medical supplies as scarce, making it a crime to stockpile these supplies in excessive quantities, sell at excessive prices, or otherwise conduct fraudulent schemes related to the pandemic.

   Large and destructive tornado hits Tishomingo, Mississippi — rare tornado emergency issued

 Tornado rips across Mississippi and Alabama, causing injuries and damage

A large and destructive tornado hit the town of Tishomingo in northern Mississippi and moved into northern Alabama on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, forcing authorities to issue a rare tornado emergency. Considerable damage was reported and several people were reportedly injured. The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed the tornado at 22:35 UTC (17:35 CDT) near the city of Tishomingo, far northeastern Mississippi. Tishomingo Police Chief Mike Kemp confirmed several buildings were damaged, including Dollar General variety store which sustained major damage. Kemp said he received reports of several minor injuries, but Mayor Tenson said Wednesday there have been no injuries as a result of the tornado. In addition, numerous trees were downed and the town is without power.

Revelation 13:17 where Christ warned us of the following: “ And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name”. This a warning a reset to the global economy is coming and that one man who will take control of the new reset economy will be the man of sin Jesus warned us about.

Earlier in my time line in my prophecy book I wrote to you about the 2005 Real ID Act that would be forced on every U.S. citizen. Well here we are September 1, 2017 and the UpNorthLive.com news is warning their citizens. “Starting Monday, the state of Michigan will begin to issue new and different driver’s licenses. A federal law is requiring everyone that wants to fly domestically to switch over to what’s called a REAL ID. The REAL ID has been in the works for nearly 12 years.” “Starting January of 2018, if your state has not been compliant, and has not been phasing in, for the the enhanced drivers license and the REAL ID to come to terms with that, you may have to present a different form of ID,” said Travel Authority Manager Bonnie Pintozzi. If you don’t have a REAL ID, which will have a gold star in the upper right hand corner, you will need to fly with a passport or enhanced driver’s license” (UpNorthLive.com Aug. 26, 2017). As I write this section of my book the date today is February 21, 2019. The REAL ID Act has already begun. By October of 2020, there will be no more wiggle room, and all IDs will need to meet compliance standards to be accepted. Take this as a sign of a global ID coming soon.

Looking now at the current events with the ongoing global coronavirus crisis the economic crisis of 2008, was nothing compared to the hit the global economy is currently taking. Take a look at a report issued via Zero Hedge that deals with the coronavirus and its effects on the economy. Here is the headline. “Will Coronavirus Lead to a Recession? What We Can Learn From Pandemics in History” “By John A. Tures • 03/12/20 Flu Viruses And Financial Meltdowns “The myth that viruses emerge only before elections may have been debunked, but the connection between influenza and recessions is a different story. As shown by data from the National Bureau of Economic Research, which tracks economic recessions, and the World Atlas site, the Russian Flu pandemic of 1889-1890 was followed by a recession in 1890 and 1891; the notorious Spanish Flu of 1918 emerged just before the twin recessions of 1918-1919 and 1920-1921; the Asian Flu, from 1957 to 1958, coincided with a dreadful recession during the same years; and there was the Hong Kong flu of 1968-1969, which preceded the 1969-1970 recession.” In 2020, we are witnessing a major global economic meltdown crisis caused by the coronavirus which as in previous years a virus brought a recession. This time most of the world has shut down and no one knows how long the global economy will remain at a standstill? From Jesus’s warning in Revelation 13:17 we know a reset on how the world does business has to take place. Currently there is a push to bring about a central bank digital currency and the coronavirus just may push that to happen.

February 25, 2020 Bitcoin News had this to say. “Since December’s outbreak in Wuhan, China, the government has been forced to quarantine large sections of the country, with more than 780 million people placed under travel restrictions. These measures are affecting the working class with offices businesses shut down since the start of the outbreak. Concerning the proposed CBDC, some pundits have argued that moving forward with its development may help to curb the spread of the virus, as digital currencies reduce the need for hand-to-hand exchange of fiat currency notes.” The report goes on to say, “Despite the delays caused by the viral pandemic, sources close to the development of the CBDC say authorities are intent on moving forward with their plans for the project. Some commentators say research teams working on the CBDC have enough theoretical and technological expertise to navigate any hurdles occasioned by the delay” (ibid). Let me make it perfectly clear for you. Digital currency being formed in our generation may bring on the mark of the beast.

March 24, 2020 Bitcoin.com issued a report entitled: “Disney World Economics: How Coronavirus Could Be Used to Justify a Global Financial Reset” I quote, “What in the world is going on’ has now become a question of real pertinence, instead of just a cliché for common bewilderment. As COVID-19 panic grips the world, ripple effects are crashing markets and effectively canceling economies across the globe, scrawling the writing on the wall for something big. Even the beloved Walt Disney World has announced it will close its doors for the time being. It stands to examine then, whether there is substance to the idea that the ‘world grinding to a halt’ could be used to implement a new financial paradigm. One that is digital, surveillance-based, and most importantly, covers the economic sins of unsustainable times past.”

On December 8, 2016 Tech Toons produced a YouTube video that was to explain how the new crypto currecy will work. At the very end of that video they ask the question you see in the picture below.

What are they alluding to? If the blockchain digital curreny does move to a digital central banking system, and people are forced into that system what will happen to anyone who refuses the new system? Is it possible the Antichrist could use such a cashless system to bring about Revelation 13:17 where Christ warned us of the following: “ And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name”.

March 5, 2020 International Banker wrote the following: “On January 21, 2020, the BIS (Bank for International Settlements) announced that a group of central banks (Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland and the European Central Bank) will share their experiences as they assess the different cases for launching central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) in their home jurisdictions. The recent announcement of a group of central banks stating that they will work together on potential cases for central bank digital currencies in their home jurisdictions, under the umbrella of the BIS, reveals an awareness that this is an area in which international cooperation is necessary. Two important central banks are missing in this group: the US Federal Reserve System (the Fed), which has made clear that it has no intention of issuing anything similar to a CBDC because there is no obvious problem to fix in the US retail-payment system8 (and probably also because they are happy with the status quo of the US dollar receiving most of the “external” seigniorage) and the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), which has announced that its pilot on CBDC is soon to be launched.” The longer the U.S. economy is shut down the greater the rick of a complete collapse. I believe before it is all over those like the US Federal Reserve System will be forced to a new global reset digital currency. As for China, they are in the process of launching their digital currency.

Keep in mind what I am saying here is only a theory. Things can swing in a different direction just as fast as the coronavirus rose to shut down the world’s economic engine. One thing that is not a theory is the coming fulfillment of Revelation 13:17!
