Headline: Captured SA-8 missile system by Syrian rebels threatens Israel

 

The video released by Syrian opposition forces which allegedly documents the tracking and interception of an army helicopter shows that rebels have managed to get their hands on Russian-made SA-8, or OSA, air defense system, and now pose a direct threat on the Israeli, Lebanese and Syrian airspaces.

However, the system is relatively outdated, and the Syrian army holds a far more dangerous development of the same system, the SA-17, which it purchased from Russia with Iranian funds.

The Syrian army has several SA-17 regiments, but some systems are probably meant for Hezbollah .

According to foreign reports, in January, Israel bombed a weapons convoy making its way from Damascus to Lebanon, allegedly carrying this type of anti-aircraft system to Hezbollah.

Israelis who believe the Temple Mount should remain in Israeli hands must take urgent action, Likud MK Moshe Feiglin warned Thursday.

Feiglin, who heads the Jewish Leadership faction of the Likud party, visited the Temple Mount on Thursday despite knowing he would find it locked to Jews, as a display of protest.

In an "unprecedented" move, police on Wednesday informed Jewish groups that the Temple Mount will be closed to all non-Muslims until at least the end of Ramadan, on 11th August. Those familiar with the Israeli letter say that it included a pledge that the US would not support the 1967 borders, that the US declares Israel a permanently “Jewish state,” and that the US opposes any right of return to Israel, believing all refugees should settle in the future Palestinian state.

All of those pledges are entirely speculative at this point, however, and what promises were included in the Palestinian letter are entirely a mystery, as the Obama Administration has declared the contents of the letters “classified” and won’t disclose what promises were actually made.

April
10, 2013 I posted a youtube video telling you what happen to me as a result of
120 Nigeriaian college students reading my prophecy book, "The Last Chronicles
of Planet Earth". If interested the video is below.  I was blessed in April to
see that many people gave their life over to Jesus Christ all a the same time. 
Since April I have continued to be blessed as many of the 120 students have now
begun to share Jesus with others and as a result they requested more Bibles. 
Jon Bonna sent me a picture today of some of the people who just received a new
Bible in Nigeria. The word of God is spreading in Nigeria and we should pray it
continues. I want to thank Jon for his faithfulness in the work of Christ in a
area that is very dangerous. Pray for Jon and the people spreading God's word.

What
is happening now in Nigeria has been going on in Pakistan. Pastor Fiaz read my
book and Jesus lead him to join with me to spread the word in Pakistan.  Pastor
Fiaz has been a huge force for Christ in Pakistan and just as Jon Bonna has
begun to get under way spreading the word of God, Pastor Fiaz has branched out
and he has partnered up with more pastors in Pakistan to carry the Good news of
our Lord's salvation to many in Pakistan.  Today I with Jon from Nigeria I

For anyone living in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s been a sweltering few weeks. In fact, last month was the fifth hottest June in recorded history. According to government data, for 340 consecutive months – more than 28 years – the earth has been warmer than historic averages.

And take a look at what’s happening in one of the coldest parts of the world – way up north in the Arctic.

Twenty-eight years ago, the Arctic was covered by ice throughout the year, as it had been for centuries. Now, every summer, two-thirds of it melts to water. In 2010, only four commercial ships were allowed to sail the Northern Sea Route, which connects northwestern Europe to northeastern Asia through the Arctic. In 2011, that number rose to 34 and then 46 the next year. This year, with five months still to go, more than 200 ships have already been given the green light to sail.

But is less ice and more water in the Arctic a good thing or a bad thing?

Well there is little doubt that the melting ice exacerbates climate change. Nature magazine published an important study last week calculating the impact of changes in the Arctic. It found that the thawing of the permafrost beneath the East Siberian Sea is leading to the release of large amounts of methane – that means an intensification of the greenhouse gas effect and more extreme weather. The study’s models claim that the cost of all this is $60 trillion – almost the size of the entire global economy. Whether or not that’s accurate, this is definitely something we have to deal with.

But the melting Arctic is also an opportunity. Nearly one-third of the world’s undiscovered gas lies under the Arctic. There are also vast reserves of metals and minerals. But who owns these resources? In 2007, Russia planted its flag 4,000 meters below the North Pole to establish its claim. (Of course, in modern international relations…that is not how to settle a territorial claim) In reality, no one owns the Arctic. Peace has been established by a group founded in 1996 – the Arctic Council. It had eight charter members, including the likes of Canada, Denmark, Russia, and the United States. Twelve more countries have joined since as observer states. These new members, like China, India and Singapore, have great interest in the region’s resources – even though they are geographically very far away.

Whether we like it or not, countries are going to be interested in any resources that exist in the Arctic. And whether we like it or not, climate impacts are already underway. The important thing is to manage both aspects in a responsible manner.

That is not happening right now. And meanwhile, the United States has fallen far behind. Russia, China, and Canada have advanced systems to deal with navigating and policing these waters – America does not.

There is a treaty that regulates these things to some extent – the United Nation’s Law of the Sea Treaty. But while 164 countries are signatories, the United States is not. Why? It’s a familiar story: disagreement and gridlock in Washington have made it impossible for the Senate to ratify the treaty, despite the fact that it has the support of the last three presidents, Republicans and Democrats.

It is rare in this day and age to have a mass of land or water that lies beyond the borders of settled international law. The Arctic waters are such a territory – a grey area of a million square miles – and very important. As it continues to melt, it will get more contentious, and present more problems – but the United States will be out of the game. Unless the Senate can get off its, well, unless the Senate can ratify this treaty.

Pastor Jeremiah Steepek (pictured below) transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning. He walked around his soon to be church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service….only 3 people out of the 7-10,000 people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food….NO ONE in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit n the back. He greeted people to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him.

As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such. When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation……..”We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek”….The congregation looked around clapping with joy and anticipation…..The homeless man sitting in the back stood up…..and started walking down the aisle…..the clapping stopped with ALL eyes on him….he walked up the altar and took the microphone from the elders (who were in on this) and paused for a moment….then he recited

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

After he recited this, he looked towards the congregation and told them all what he had experienced that morning…many began to cry and many heads were bowed in shame…. he then said….Today I see a gathering of people……not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people, but not enough disciples…when will YOU decide to become disciples? He then dismissed service until next week…….Being a Christian is more than something you claim. I’ts something you live by and share with others.

And take a look at what's happening in one of the coldest parts of the world – way up north in the Arctic.

Twenty-eight years ago, the Arctic was covered by ice throughout the year, as it had been for centuries. Now, every summer, two-thirds of it melts to water. In 2010, only four commercial ships were allowed to sail the Northern Sea Route, which connects northwestern Europe to northeastern Asia through the Arctic. In 2011, that number rose to 34 and then 46 the next year. This year, with five months still to go, more than 200 ships have already been given the green light to sail.

 Who is this bum?

Pastor Jeremiah Steepek (pictured above) transformed himself into a homeless  person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning. He walked around his soon to be  church for 30 minutes while it was  filling with people for service….only 3 people out of the 7-10,000  people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food….NO  ONE in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit  down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would  please sit n the back. He greeted people to be greeted back with stares  and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him.

  As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church  announcements and such. When all that was done, the elders went up and  were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the  congregation…….."We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah  Steepek"….The congregation looked around clapping with joy and  anticipation…..The homeless man sitting in the back stood up…..and  started walking down the aisle…..the clapping stopped with ALL eyes on him….he walked up the altar and took the microphone from the elders  (who were in on this) and paused for a moment….then he recited

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are  blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for  you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me  something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I  was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed  me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to  visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see  you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
  “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of  the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

After he recited this, he looked towards the congregation and told them all what he had experienced that morning…many began to cry and many  heads were bowed in shame…. he then said….Today I see a gathering of people……not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people,  but not enough disciples…when will YOU decide to become disciples? He  then dismissed service until next week…….Being a Christian is more  than something you claim. I'ts something you live by and share with  others.
