In my prophecy book The Last Chronicles of Planet Earth I warn you to watch for what happens on the Temple Mount. Why? Because if you know what the prophecy says about this Temple you know that something major has to happen to allow the Third Temple to be built! Read the prophecies below.
Daniel 9:27 “He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”
Matthew 24:15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand”.
2 Thessalonians 2:4 “He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” The “He” this verse is talking about is the Antichrist!
Each year we are getting closer and closer to witnessing this Temple being rebuilt. In one of my previous posts I said the following: “We know for sure the third Temple will be built in the very near future just as the prophecies show us. At the current time this Temple Mount is causing havoc between the Arabs in the Israelis.” Without question what I warned is coming to pass as you can see from just the past two days news concerning the Temple Mount. Even the prophet Zechariah warns us about Jerusalem. What we know for sure is war is coming and in my mind based on what I have seen from the past and by current events a war with Israel will take place in part because of this Temple Mount area of which the Muslims do not want Israel to get full control of again. Yes, Israel owns it but, every since 1967 Israel has allowed the Muslims to run it and you can see where that has lead. Things on the Temple Mount are changing and, the Jews have begun to clamp down on Muslims rioting against Jews who want to visit their holy site on the Mount. Keep your eyes on this Temple Mount because it is going to be a huge sign Christ last 7 years is soon to begin! What should we expect? Expect the Jews to move in and stop the Muslims from the crimes against Jews on the Mount and look for the Jews to gain full access of that Mount area. Israel is already making moves to do what I have warned and all their actions will do is give cause for Muslims to want to attack Israel and take back not just East Jerusalem where the Temple Mount is but all of Israel. Before you read the news I want everyone to understand my warning are based on what the prophets have shown us in God’s word. Every thing I have warned you will soon come to pass as it is God’s warnings not mine.

The anticipated Arab attacks near the Temple Mount at the end of Friday prayers did not disappoint, as Arab rioters hurled rocks at police forces at the Damascus Gate of Jerusalem’s Old City. At the gate, located on the eastern end of the northern wall of the Old City, one Arab assailant was arrested in the act. Police forces used non-lethal riot dispersal methods to break up the rioters, in a clash that was foreseen by police who beefed up their numbers to 5,000 officers in the capital for Friday and deployed surveillance blimps. At nearly the same time as the clash on Friday, the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee decided following a special morning meeting to take a rare move, and permit the IDF to call up reserve Border Patrol officers to secure Jerusalem. Committee Chairman MK Tzahi Hanegbi (Likud) said “Border Patrol fighters have rich and successful experience dealing with hostile and violent activities. Placing Border Patrol units in the capital will help restore order quickly.” The clash on Friday comes after Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas called Wednesday for violence at the Temple Mount against Jews, saying, “the Al-Aqsa (Mosque on the Mount – ed.) is ours…and they (Jews) have no right to defile it with their filthy feet.” In his comments Abbas lauded “martyrs” spilling blood in Jerusalem to prevent Jews from their holiest site, making his call for violence clear.

Headline: Hamas Calls for ‘Revolution’ against Palestinian Authority
The Hamas terror movement’s incitement against Israel continues to escalate, in what appears to be a crusade for another wave of terrorism and a new intifada. Simultaneously, the group, which controls Gaza, is maintaining its intensive campaign to delegitimize the rule of the Palestinian Authority in areas of Judea and Samaria. Khalil al-Haya, a Hamas leader, spoke at a rally in Gaza on Tuesday, asserting that his movement is ready to fight for the Al-Aqsa Mosque against “Israeli occupation.” Al-Haya blasted the Palestinian Authority and ordered Palestinian people to rise up and overthrow it, as well as continue attacks against Israel to protect the mosque atop the Temple Mount. “The time has come for the West Bank to rise up and oppose authority, particularly those who who coordinate security with Israel (i.e. the PA),” al-Haya charged. “It’s time for this government to be thrown into the trash dump of history.” Expressing Arabs’ willingness to spill blood for Al-Aqsa, al-Haya argued “we have a right to be angry and rise up and set fire to the ground under invaders…we say your occupation of Jerusalem won’t last long.”

Headline: Abbas to ‘Drop a Bombshell’ at End of UN Speech
Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas has promised to “drop a bombshell” at the end of his upcoming speech before the United Nations, according to a tweet on Wednesday night. Abbas will not, however, “reveal the nature of this bombshell,” journalist Khaled Abu Toameh’s tweet added. Senior PA official Nabil Shaath claimed earlier this week that Abbas would use his speech before the UN General Assembly in late September to nullify some fundamental clauses of the Oslo Accords. “Israel implements only [clauses of the Oslo Accords] which serve her and her interests. So we, too, will act similarly,” Shaath told Palestinian news agency Ma’an. “Abbas will state things clearly – after 22 years, we have not achieved anything out of the Oslo Accords.” Reports surfaced last week that Abbas was planning to do away entirely with the 1993 agreement, and will officially announce the move at the UN General Assembly later this month. PA official Ahmed Majdalani was quoted by Palestinian media as saying that Abbas will tell the UN that since Israel did not comply with the Oslo Accords and did not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state, the PA is no longer committed to the agreements.

Headline: EU Jewish Congress Could Sue Iceland Capital over Israel Boycott
Iceland’s capital Reykjavík passed a resolution Tuesday stating the municipality will boycott all products made in Israel, a move blasted in Israel as a “volcano of hate.” Iceland Magazine reported on its web site that the measure was put forward by Björk Vilhelmsdóttir, a councilwoman with the Social Democratic Alliance, who is retiring from politics.
According to the report, the motion states that the city of Reykjavík will boycott Israeli goods “as long as the occupation of Palestinian territories continues.” Among the cities that Reykjavík has a “twin cities” agreement with are Moscow and Caracas. Reykjavík is a popular tourist attraction, and home to some 122,000 people. The measure makes no distinction between products made inside pre-1967 Israel or beyond the Green Line. Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon responded to the move by saying that “a volcano of hate exploded in the building of the Reykjavík municipality.”

Headline: UN Security Council: Keep Jewish Prayer Ban on Temple Mount
The UN Security Council appealed for calm and restraint Thursday after three days of clashes this week at Jerusalem’s Temple Mount between Israeli police and Arab mobs. In a unanimous declaration, the 15-member panel also expressed its “grave concern” and called for maintaining the rules governing the sensitive site, which is Judaism’s holiest. “The members of the Security Council called for the exercise of restraint, refraining from provocative actions and rhetoric, and upholding unchanged the historic status quo” at the compound “in word and in practice,” a statement said. The site has been under the iron grip of the Jordanian Waqf Muslim Authority since being liberated in 1967. Under longstanding regulations, Jews are allowed to visit but cannot pray there to avoid “provoking tensions” with Muslims. Palestinian Arabs are reportedly deeply suspicious that Israel will seek to change rules governing the site, although Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said he has no intention of doing so. Netanyahu assured UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon late Thursday that his country was determined to strictly apply the status quo.

A coalition of Lebanese civil activists groups have called for a mass march Sunday to demand Interior Minister Nohad Machnouk’s resignation after security forces beat and arrested dozens of protesters earlier in the week. “We call for a mass rally on Sunday at 5 p.m. beginning from the Beirut River Bridge in Bourj Hammoud and ending at [Downtown Beirut’s] Nejmeh Square,” a committee bringing together the #YouStink, We Want Accountability and other movements announced Thursday. “What the movement must do is to rise to the level of the open battle that the authorities have launched against us,” spokesperson Nidal Ayoub—who was arrested during Wednesday’s protest—declared. The grassroots movements announced that they are now demanding the dismissal of the interior minister as well as Environment Minister Mohammad Machnouk. They also said that they had put together an immediate environmental emergency plan to deal with Lebanon’s worsening trash crisis.

Headline: Egypt ‘starts flooding Gaza tunnels’
A senior Egyptian officer was shot dead by Islamic terrorists on Wednesday in the Sinai Peninsula, with the Egyptian branch of ISIS claiming responsibility for the attack. General Khaled Kamal Osman was inspecting members of a police unit in the provincial capital of El-Arish when the gunmen opened fire from a passing car, Egypt’s Interior Ministry said. Meanwhile, The Egyptian military has begun flooding tunnels used by Palestinian militants and smugglers under the border with Gaza, reports say. It is the latest move by Egypt to destroy the tunnels, part of an offensive against insurgents. Excavators have been digging there for weeks to turn the area into what authorities say will be fish farms. Egypt has destroyed thousands of homes and evicted families from the border, where it is creating a buffer zone. Hundreds of tunnels were operating until Egypt began to eliminate them in recent years, but some remain functional and others have been rebuilt.

Syria Headline: Syrian warplanes attack ISIS-held Palmyra
Syrian warplanes unleashed a wave of deadly airstrikes on the militant-held town of Palmyra in central Syria on Friday, killing at least 15 and wounding many more, activists said, in some of the heaviest bombardment since the extremist group seized the ancient town May 10. The Palmyra airstrikes come a day after the Syrian army carried out heavy air raids in the northern city of Raqqa, also held by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria group (ISIS). A local activist who spoke on condition of anonymity for security reasons reported at least 30 air raids on Palmyra Friday. A local media collective called the strikes a “massacre” and said 15 people were killed and more than 120 wounded. It said Palmyra’s only hospital was suffering severe shortages in staff and equipment, and some of the wounded had to be taken to Raqqa, more than 200 kilometers (125 miles) away. It did not say if those killed were civilians or ISIS fighters. However the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a number of ISIS militants were among those killed.

Syria Headline: 4 car bombs, 250 mortar rounds rock Syrian Shiite towns
The jihadi groups on Friday detonated four booby-trapped vehicles and fired over 250 mortar shells into two predominantly-Shiite towns in northern Syria, a monitor group reported. “Violent explosions” were heard rocking the towns of Foa and Kafraya in the northwestern province of Idlib, as part of a fresh wave of attacks the jihadi rebel groups recently unleashed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said it had no immediate death toll or losses assessment of Friday’s attacks. It said the Syrian air force carried out airstrikes against the rebel positions in Binnish, a town in Idlib, which has largely fallen to the rebels, except the two Shiite towns and some points in its countryside. Halting the rebel attacks on Kafraya and Foa was negotiated between rebel delegations and Iran in recent weeks, but the negotiations failed to settle the situation in the towns as the rebels set demands that couldn’t be met by the government forces.

Syria Headline: Dozens killed in renewed barrel bomb attacks in Syria’s Daraa
At least 20 civilians were killed and 15 wounded in renewed barrel bomb attacks by forces loyal to the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the southern province of Daraa, local sources said on Thursday. “Syrian regime helicopters dropped more than five barrel bombs on the town of Busra al-Sham in Daraa countryside on Thursday evening, killing 20 civilians and injuring more than 15 others,” civil rights activist Ahmed Hammam told ARA News. “The victims included three children and five women,” the source added. “This is only an initial death toll, as activists are still searching for victims under the rabble of the bombed buildings,” said Hammam. The ancient Syrian town of Busra al-Sham has been under the control of anti-Assad rebel forces since March.

Syria Headline: Forecasting the Syrian Civil War
The trajectory of the Syrian Civil War may fundamentally shift within the 90 day timeframe. Russia escalated its military assistance on behalf of the Syrian regime in early September 2015, deploying armored vehicles and hundreds of personnel to the Syrian Coast in preparation for the establishment of at least one forward air operations base. Rebel factions led by Syrian al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al- Nusra (JN) continue to pressure the regime’s stronghold along the Alawite Coast following a several-month campaign to expel regime forces from Idlib Province. Turkey and the U.S.-led anti-ISIS coalition intend to establish an “ISIS-free” zone in northern Syria along the Turkish border with the assistance of moderate rebel forces. There a number of ways that the actors driving conditions on the ground could respond to these events or generate new conditions. The interplay between these developments and their courses of action could create numerous different outcomes in Syria over the next 12 weeks. A number of these divergent pathways could generate negative effects that intensify the conflict, spread regional disorder, and threaten U.S. interests in Syria.

Iraq Headline: Deadly suicide attacks target Iraqi police
Iraq Headline: 24 dead, 121 wounded, the final outcome of 2 suicide bombings in Baghdad
Iraq officials have said that two suicide attacks on Thursday targeting police in commercial areas in Baghdad have killed 14 people. Police say both attacks on Thursday morning were carried out by bombers on foot, wearing explosives-laden vests. One bomber struck in Baghdad’s Bab al-Sharji area, killing eight civilians and a police officer there. Twenty-one were wounded in that explosion. The second bomber hit in al-Wathba Square, killing five people, including two policemen, and wounding 12. Two medical officials confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to reporters. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks hours later. In a statement posted online, the extremist group said two attackers wearing explosive vests had targeted police.

Kurdish Headline: Kurdish Islamic Leader Meets Hamas Chief in Turkey
At the fifth convention of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Turkey, Kurdistan Islamic Group (Komal) leader Ali Bapir met with the Palestinian Islamic organisation Hamas in Ankara. A source told BasNews that Komal officials met with Khaled Mashal, head of Hamas’s political bureau and Hamas deputy leader Musa Abu-Marzuq Musa Abu Marzuq, reiterating their support for Palestinians and Hamas. The source revealed that a number of Komal politburo members were not pleased by the decision to attend the event.“They are also concerned about the inclusion of Qasim Mustafa, who has no official position in the party, in the Komal delegation,” said the source. Komal senior official Muhammad Hakim told BasNews that the meeting was only to introduce the Komal and Hamas officials. However, Komal officials declined to reveal any details about the meeting with the Palestinian Islamic organisation.

Headline: Turkish warplanes bomb PKK targets in Kurdistan’s Dohuk province
Turkish warplanes bombed bases of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Kurdistan Region’s Dohuk province on Friday, a Rudaw reporter on the scene said. The attacks targeted the group’s facilities in the villages of Avle and Pirble, close to the city of Zarka, some 50 kilometers north of Dohuk city. The air raid took place at 16:20 local time. No reports of casualties were immediately available. Turkey has carried out near-daily air or artillery attacks on PKK targets in the Kurdistan Region and in its own Kurdish southeast. Fighting between Turkish and PKK forces resumed following a July 20 bombing in the Turkish-Syrian border town of Suruc in which 32 people were killed and 104 wounded. The PKK later took responsibility for killing two policemen, and Turkey responded with air raids and artillery attacks.

Yesterday was the deadline for Congress to vote on the Iran Nuclear Deal. Many were hoping that the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 (Corker-Cardin) would stop it. Obama has failed to comply with the crystal-clear conditions spelled out in the Corker law. This is indisputable. “Side deals” that the statute explicitly requires to be disclosed to Congress — involving, for example, IAEA inspection terms and Iran’s prior nuclear work — have been withheld. As you can see from the headlines below, ‘side deals’ are not the only thing not being revealed. Under the terms of the Iranian Nuclear Agreement Review Act (Corker-Cardin), Sept. 17 was the final day on which Congress could stop the deal from moving forward by passing a disapproval resolution. The Obama administration will likely be permitted to enforce this aspect of Corker-Cardin despite its own failure to comply with another substantive requirement, although why that should be so is a question that needs to be addressed. U.S. Senate Democrats blocked legislation meant to kill the Iran nuclear deal for a third time Thursday, by a vote of 56-42, the Republican-majority Senate fell short of the 60 votes needed. The Obama administration appointed Stephen Mull as “lead coordinator for Iran nuclear implementation.” Mull, who has served as ambassador to Poland and in other top diplomatic posts, takes on the “crucial” responsibility of shepherding an agreement “which will make the United States, our friends and allies in the Middle East, and the entire world safer,” Secretary of State John Kerry said. These events come 5 days after Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei released a video in which he warned of an American defeat in any war with Iran. They also come after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell offered an amendment to the deal that would require Iran to recognize Israel’s right to exist and to release American hostages from captivity. Local officials say foreign engineers working at the hydroelectric power Kajaki dam, including a number of Britons, have been evacuated to Kandahar, as Taliban have captured at least one police precinct from government forces. The US military conducted three airstrikes in Kajaki on 15 and 16 September, “to eliminate threats to the force”, according to Col Brian Tribus, spokesman for the international forces in Afghanistan. He said Nato personnel were operating out of the Bastion and Leatherneck complex to “train, advise and assist” the Afghan troops.

Headline: ISIS claims attack on Tripoli airport, 3 killed
Militants attacked Tripoli’s airport on Friday and killed three security personnel, a Libyan official said, in an assault claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria jihadist group (ISIS).
“An armed group carried out an attack this morning on the prison located on the Mitiga air base, to try to free the detainees,” the airport security official said. “First there was an explosion… and then a clash with automatic weapons,” he said, adding that at least eight attackers died. An AFP journalist who was at the airport heard a blast followed by gunfire. ISIS later claimed the attack on Twitter. Flights were unaffected by the incident at what is the only airport still functioning in the militia-held city. Mitiga is a military airfield used for civilian traffic after Tripoli’s international airport was seriously damaged last year in fighting for control of the capital.

Tunisia, in which the “Arab Spring” riots began several years ago, has been presented as an example of the success of the democratic experiment in spite of the rise of Islamist movements, primarily the Ennahda party which is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and which won the first elections in the country only to be forced to step down later. While in office, Ennahda party never hid its intentions to apply Sharia Islamic law in Tunisia, identified with the “Palestinian issue” and expressed full support for the destruction of Israel. Following the ongoing terror wave in Jerusalem this week, the deputy leader of Ennahda, Mohamed Akrout, called on Arab leaders to support the “Palestinian struggle” in all its forms, including using armed forces, to resist the continued Israeli “aggression” against the Palestinian people and the Muslim holy sites, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Akrut, who is a member of the global coalition in support of Jerusalem and Palestine, said in an interview with Hamas’s Falastin magazine that the Arab leaders need to pressure international organizations to support the Palestinian struggle, including the armed one, and not to describe it as “terrorism”. He added that an armed struggle against Israel is not a crime because it is part of a struggle to free the land and the holy places which are under “occupation”.

That paved the way for the formation of a transitional government, but soldiers arrested the interim president and prime minister late Wednesday and announced hours later that they had been removed from office. The political unrest sparked violence in the streets, and the presidential guard opened fire with live ammunition to disperse crowds protesting the coup, witnesses said late Wednesday. Associated Press journalists saw the bodies of at least six victims at a morgue in the capital of Ouagadougou on Thursday. Members of the presidential guard wandered about the city in pickups and on motorcycles seeking to disperse any gatherings late Thursday. Burkina Faso’s land and air borders were closed and a 7 p.m.-to-6 a.m. curfew was imposed. Meanwhile, The Islamist militant group al-Shabab overran two Somali army bases on Friday and killed at least seven soldiers, both the group and the military said, a day after the group retook a southern town. The raids on the bases in the town of Yaqbariweyne in the Lower Shabelle region and the retaking of Janale town after African forces quit are the latest gains in an offensive by the group that has helped them seize several towns this month. The government has dismissed al-Shabab’s gains, saying the areas retaken have no strategic value. But the offensive has shown the group can keep up pressure on the Western-backed government. “We took the two Yaqbariweyne military bases in a fierce fighting this morning,” Al-Shabab’s military operations spokesman, Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, told Reuters. Taliban militants have killed at least 29 people in an attack on an air force base in the northern city of Peshawar, Pakistani officials say. The gunmen, dressed in police uniforms, stormed the Badaber air base on Friday morning, Maj Gen Asim Bajwa said. At least 16 of the victims were killed during morning prayers at a mosque inside the compound, Gen Bajwa added. The Pakistani Taliban said they ordered the attack. Peshawar has frequently been targeted by militants. Gen Bajwa said the militants entered the base, which is 10km (6 miles) south of Peshawar, at two points and then split into groups. A rapid response force was dispatched to the scene and contained the attackers around a guard room, he added. Thirteen militants were said to have been killed by security forces, although the Taliban said just one of their fighters died. The total number of gunmen involved is unclear, but Gen Bajwa said his forces were hunting for the remaining attackers. The exchange of fire also left 29 people injured, the Pakistani military said. Gen Bajwa claimed that mobile phone intercepts suggested that the attackers had come from inside Afghanistan, though he said there was no reason to blame the Kabul government. The attack on Badaber air base is the first on a military target since a Pakistan navy ship was attacked in Karachi’s dockyard in September last year. It is the bloodiest since last December’s massacre of 150 pupils and teachers at Peshawar’s Army Public School.

Secretary of State John Kerry said Wednesday it may take more than sanctions to end North Korea’s nuclear weapons threat because its isolation from the global marketplace makes U.S. economic pressure less effective than it was on Iran. The American goal in North Korea remains the same, Kerry insisted: A peaceful solution that leads to nuclear disarmament. But he also warned of increasingly “severe consequences” against Pyongyang a day after it declared that it has upgraded and restarted all of its atomic fuel plants — meaning it could potentially make more sophisticated nuclear weapons. The North also said this week it was ready for more rocket launches whenever it sees fit, and there is wide speculation it could conduct a launch or hold another test of a nuclear weapons to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the founding of its ruling party. When the head of the central bank utters the two words “don’t panic” you know the economy, currency, and financial system is in trouble…and that’s just what Nigerian central bank Governor Godwin Emefiele just did. Following government intervention to sweep cash from local to central accounts, banks have panicced. As Reuters reports, overnight interbank lending rates spiked to 200%, which Emefiele opined was “a momentary action… just sentiment,” but the interbank naira market was paralyzed for a third day on Thursday, with banks unwilling to lend to each other, even when rates fell back to 20-30%. As Reuters reports, Nigerian central bank Governor Godwin Emefiele ruled out a naira devaluation on Thursday and told people not to panic about a government order which risks draining billions of dollars from the financial system. Since taking office in May, Buhari has vowed to rein in Nigeria’s dependency on oil exports which account for 90 percent of foreign currency earnings. However, he has faced criticism from investors for failing to appoint a cabinet yet or outline concrete policies. Amid confusion over the implementation of the single account policy, overnight interbank lending rates spiked to 200 percent, but Emefiele denied the policy had provoked a liquidity crisis.

December’s fed funds futures contract rose to drop its yield to 21.5 basis points, implying only about a 42 percent chance of a rate increase by the end of the year. “Investors are wrestling with how concerned they should be regarding global growth,” said Jeremy Zirin, chief equity strategist at UBS Wealth Management. The Federal Reserve’s decision today to keep interest rates unchanged may mean consumers can make some decisions while rates remain near zero. Mark Zandi, chief economist with Moody’s, said he expects the Fed to begin raising rates before the year is over. “However, the longer they wait to begin normalizing rates, the greater the risk they will be forced to play catch up and raise rates more aggressively in the future,” Zandi said. “It is much better for the economy long-run to normalize rates in a slow and orderly way.”

Headline: ‘Super-gonorrhoea’ outbreak in Leeds
Highly drug-resistant gonorrhoea is spreading in the north of England with an outbreak centred in Leeds, sexual health doctors have told the BBC. One of the main treatments has become useless against the new strain of the sexually transmitted infection. Twelve cases have been confirmed in Leeds and a further four have been reported in Macclesfield, Oldham and Scunthorpe. However, there are likely to be more undiagnosed cases. The strain in this outbreak is able to shrug off the antibiotic azithromycin, which is normally used alongside another drug, ceftriaxone. Peter Greenhouse, a consultant in sexual health based in Bristol, told the BBC News website: “This azithromycin highly resistant outbreak is the first one that has triggered a national alert. “It doesn’t sound like an awful lot of people, but the implication is there’s a lot more of this strain out there and we need to stamp it out as quickly as possible. “If this becomes the predominant strain in the UK we’re in big trouble, so we have to be really meticulous in making sure each of these individuals has all their contacts traced and treated.” The outbreak started in March.

Headline: Scorching Year Continues With the Hottest Summer on Record
Last month was the hottest August on record, topping out the hottest summer on record, according to data released on Thursday by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It was the sixth month this year to set a new record: February, March, May, June, July, and August. This has been the hottest start to a year on record and the hottest 12 months on record. It follows the hottest calendar year (2014), and the hottest decade. In 136 years of global temperature data, we are in uncharted territory. And this year’s extremes are likely to continue as a strong El Niño weather pattern in the Pacific Ocean continues to rip more heat into the atmosphere. There’s now a 97 percent chance that 2015 will set yet another record, according to NOAA. The animation below shows the earth’s warming climate, recorded in monthly measurements from land and sea dating back to 1880. Temperatures are displayed in degrees above or below the 20th century average. Thirteen of the 14 hottest years have come in the 21st century, and 2015 is on track to raise the bar again.
