Rep. Tenney’s measure follows repeated international efforts to downplay Jewish ties to Jerusalem and restrict access to the Temple Mount. Currently, Muslims can enter the site through eleven gates, while non-Muslims are limited to one gate with restricted hours and prohibitions on prayer. The resolution condemns these double standards and reaffirms America’s commitment to Israel’s security, sovereignty, and religious liberty for all faiths.

What Will Happen to America in the Last Days? Many people are asking what role—if any—America will play during the last days. While the Bible does not specifically name the United States, it does give us insight into the global landscape during the end times. One of the clearest revelations is that a One World Government will emerge, led by the Antichrist. Both the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation describe this man of sin rising to power and forcing the world to submit to his rule by taking his identification mark—what Scripture refers to as the number 666. Given that America is currently the world’s leading superpower, something significant must happen to remove her from that position in order for the Antichrist to take control. In the news once again, we see Israel facing renewed conflict with Syria, Hamas, and Hezbollah in Lebanon—four of the nations listed in the prophetic Psalm 83 war against Israel. “It is incredibly rough here. Lots of things are flying around, the wind speeds are incredible,” she says, adding they have done as much as they can to prepare for the storm.

“My community was devastated by Hurricane Beryl last year,” she tells me. In July 2024, when that category four storm swept the island, it brought more than 12 hours of heavy rain.
