Gantz elected Knesset Speaker as he heads into unity government

In an event that few would have foreseen, Blue and White appears to have disintegrated as its leader Benny Gantz led his faction into a unity government with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday. Details are still emerging but reports say that Gantz will lead the 15 members of his Israel Resilience party into the government. Israel Resilience is one of the parties that makes up Blue and White, a coalition of parties brought together to better compete against Netanyahu’s Likud. It’s not yet known what position Gantz will fill in the year-and-a-half before he is expected to take on the prime minister’s role. The positions of speaker of the Knesset and foreign minister have been broached.

Western Wall prayer to end coronavirus attracts thousands of viewers

Tens of thousands of people tuned in to watch dozens of worshipers as they came out to pray at the Western Wall on Wednesday evening, praying for the end of the coronavirus ‘plague’ and the speedy recovery of the sick. 50,000 people watched the service live on the Western Wall Heritage Website and on Kol Lashon. The prayer was held on Yom Kippur Katan, the day before the beginning of the month in the Jewish calendar. The service was kept small, as the Western Wall Heritage Foundation stuck to strict adherence to the Health Ministry guidelines, creating designated spaces for the worshipers, and instructing people to keep proper distances apart before, during and after the service. Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz attended the ceremony together with Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion and Deputy Mayor Rabbi Yossi Deutsch.

 Two rockets hit Baghdad’s Green Zone: Iraq military

France to withdraw all troops from Iraq due to coronavirus outbreak

Two rockets slammed into the Iraqi capital’s Green Zone, the high-security enclave home to government buildings and foreign embassies, early on Thursday, the military said. An Iraqi security source told AFP the intended target appeared to be the US embassy, a sprawling compound a few hundred meters south of where the rockets hit. It is the 26th such attack targeting installations where foreign troops or diplomats are based across Iraq since late October.

The scoffed-at idea of paying everyone a basic income as machines take people’s jobs is getting a fresh look as a possible remedy for economies cratered by the coronavirus pandemic. Lambasted until recently as too costly or too “socialist,” paying people for simply being alive and trusting they will be productive has new support as jobs vanish. The massive recovery package being considered in the US Congress to offset the tremendous hit to the economy would move a step closer toward idea of a “universal basic income.” Aspiring Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang argued for it on the campaign trail, even as his opponents and economic pundits shot down the idea as idealistic and impossible to finance.

Digital Dollar Project Names 22 New Advisory Group Members

As the U.S. House of Representatives scrambled to craft a draft bill that would authorize trillions of dollars in payments to “consumers, states, businesses, and vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 emergency” it introduced the digital dollar concept that could potentially let the Federal Reserve, responsible for printing U.S. dollars, send stimulus money directly to individuals. Meanwhile, a Global Times report has said that China’s CBDC’s launch is closer than expected. By teaming up with several local companies like Huawei, China Merchants Bank, Tencent and Alibaba, the Chinese central bank has completed the currency development process. Between January 21st and March 17th, Alipay – the financial wing of Alibaba – has reportedly publicized five patents related to the future digital currency. China’s approach to stabilizing its economy might significantly vary with the digital currency launch. Cao Yan, managing director of Digital Renaissance Foundation, believes that the People’s Bank of China should accelerate the development of the CBDC. According to him, there are two benefits to this. Firstly, it would establish China’s dominance in this new digitally-oriented world. Secondly, the currency would be more helpful during times of uncertainty.

 Iran refuses to release Christian prisoners despite coronavirus outbreak

Iran’s mullah regime refused on Tuesday to grant a temporary release to four imprisoned Christians amid a release of some 85,000 prisoners, including political prisoners, in an effort to stop the spread of the Middle East’s worst outbreak of the coronavirus. The religious freedom organization Article18 wrote on its website: “Four Iranian Christians serving 10-year sentences in Tehran’s Evin prison are being denied temporary release, even though their requests for retrials have been accepted.” According to Article18, the four Iranian Christians being jailed are Yousef Nadarkhani, 42; Mohammad Reza (Yohan) Omidi, 46; Zaman (Saheb) Fadaei, 36; and Nasser Navard Gol-Tapeh, who is 58 years old and suffers from a number of serious health issues.

 Israeli Researcher Discovers Why Being Male Doubles Risk of Corona Death

Shani Gal-Oz, a doctoral student at Ben-Gurion University specializing in immune system gender differences, explained various factors causing significantly higher mortality rates in men than in women from coronavirus. Though it is known that the elderly and immunocompromised are disproportionately affected by coronavirus and have a much higher rate of mortality, men fall victim to the dreaded virus in staggeringly higher numbers. Gal-Oz offered several insights into this phenomenon. She noted that women develop more macrophage cells from birth than men. Macrophages are a type of white blood cell in the immune system that engulf and digest cellular debris, foreign substances, microbes, cancer cells, and anything else that does not have the type of proteins specific to healthy body cells on its surface. “We have seen that a portion of the macrophage population is active without immune stimulation, a phenomenon that has not been observed in males,” Gal-Oz said, according to The Ladders. “Portions of the X chromosome are involved in the regulation of gene expression of the immune system on other chromosomes and men have an X chromosome and a Y, while women have two copies of the X.”

The meeting for the Group of 20 nations was chaired by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman. The kingdom, which is presiding over the G20 this year, said it organized the extraordinary meeting to advance global efforts to tackle the pandemic and its economic implications as people lose their incomes amid closures, curfews and lockdowns. The meeting comes amid criticism that the world’s wealthiest countries have not taken cohesive action to combat the virus or its economic impact on people around the world.

Millions of locusts cover streets in Oman with footage showing ‘ground moving’

Swarms of locusts have descended on Oman with footage showing what seems to be the floor moving after millions started crawling across the streets. The spooky video taken by Dominic Abu Hanna shows a road covered in the small insects. They all seem to be moving in the same direction which gives the impression that the floor is moving. He claimed in his video – seen more than 4.5million times since it was posted on March 15 – that the insects were ants. But journalist Hassan Hassan has since tweeted: “Omani authorities have responded to videos about a massive swarm of ‘ants’ circulated online, saying those are actually ‘small-size’ locusts.”

 5 earthquakes rattle West Texas; largest is magnitude 5.0

A series of five earthquakes centered near the same remote area of West Texas rattled the region on Thursday. The temblors registered between 3.0 and 5.0 Thursday starting around 4 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was about 25 miles (40 kilometers) west of Mentone in Loving County on the border with New Mexico. The largest was a magnitude 5.0 about six hours later. That quake could be felt as far as 150 miles (245 kilometers) away in El Paso, Texas and neighboring Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. No major damage or injuries were immediately reported in the sparsely populated area.

 Destructive flash floods hit capital Aden, Yemen

Destructive flash floods ripped through Yemen’s capital Aden on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, turning roads into raging rivers and claiming lives of at last two people. At least 4 others were injured. Heavy rains are also expected on Thursday, March 26. Heavy rains caused severe flash flooding across the capital Aden on Wednesday, destroying homes and roads, washing away vehicles and leaving the city without power. Two people– a man and a woman– died after being caught by the waters. Rescuers were able to save the two and send them to a hospital, but the victims passed away before receiving treatment.

Indonesian volcano Mount Merapi spews massive ash in 2nd major eruption this month

Indonesia’s most active volcano Mount Merapi erupted Friday, shooting a column of ash some 5,000 meters (16,000 feet) into the air in its second major eruption this month. Ash and sand covered areas several kilometers away from the peak of the rumbling crater near Indonesia’s cultural capital Yogyakarta. Authorities did not raise Merapi’s alert level. “There has been no reports of damage from the eruption. We urge people to stay calm and not panic,” national disaster mitigation agency spokesman Agus Wibowo said. Merapi erupted earlier this month, shooting a massive ash cloud some 6,000 meters in the air. That eruption coated Yogyakarta and neighboring city Solo with gray dust and forced an airport closure. Mount Merapi’s last major eruption in 2010 killed more than 300 people and forced the evacuation of 280,000 residents.

 After Breaking Law, High Court Accused of Waging ‘Coup’ Against Legislative Branch

Israel’s Supreme Court is being accused of waging a judicial coup after telling the Knesset (Parliament) chairman, Likud MK Yuli Edelstein, to hold a vote on his own resignation. Their ruling added that if the Chairman refuses to hold the vote, the High Court will remove him. Edelstein rejected the ultimatum saying that “the attorney general’s meddling in parliamentary affairs is inappropriate.” The chairman added that he will “hold a vote at a later time when the time is right.” The decision is highly controversial as it is contravenes Israel’s Basic Law which states that the Knesset Chairman is to remain in their role until a new Knesset is sworn in.

 Unity talks stalled over High Court ruling to allow vote for speaker

The prospect of a unity government was fading Tuesday after Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein refused to commit to a date for a vote on his replacement and after the High Court instructed him to bring the matter to a vote by Wednesday at the latest. Likud ministers fumed over Blue & White’s intention to replace the speaker with a member of their own party despite threats to discontinue unity talks. Blue & White party members were equally outraged at what they saw as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s efforts to keep Edelstein in the Speaker’s chair while trampling on the court and in disregard for its authority. Edelstein has yet to announce his decisions after the High Court’s unanimous ruling Monday but had earlier said that the high court was intervening in an unprecedented way in the Knesset time-table in a politically motivated manner,” increasing the tensions between the prime minister’s political camp and the judicial system.

 Afghanistan conflict: Militants in deadly attack on Sikh temple in Kabul

At least 25 people have been killed in a militant attack on a Sikh temple in the Afghan capital Kabul. The interior ministry said a gunman had burst into the complex early in the morning, firing on worshippers. He was killed in an exchange of fire lasting six hours with security forces. Earlier reports said a group of assailants had carried out the attack. About 150 people were trapped in the complex in the Shorbazar area. The Islamic State group claimed the attack. IS has targeted Sikhs and other religious minorities before in Afghanistan. The country’s main militant group, the Taliban, denied any involvement. Nato in Afghanistan called it an outrage.

 Boko Haram kills 92 Chadian soldiers in ‘deadliest attack’

The president of Chad says 92 soldiers have been killed in an attack by Boko Haram militants. President Idriss Déby said the attack early on Monday was the deadliest yet in the five-year campaign by the Islamists. On Tuesday, Nigeria said its 47 soldiers were killed in an ambush by Boko Haram militants in the city of Maiduguri in north-east. The insurgents attacked a convoy which had left the city with a supply of bombs and other ammunition.

 U.S. Congress, negotiators reach deal on $2-trillion coronavirus aid package

U.S. senators and Trump administration officials have reached an agreement on a massive economic stimulus bill to alleviate the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak, the negotiators said on Wednesday. Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer called the measure “the largest rescue package in American history,” describing it as a “Marshall Plan” for hospitals and medical needs, in a reference to the U.S.-funded program that helped rebuild Europe after World War Two. McConnell said the package would rush checks to help Americans pay bills during job layoffs related to the outbreak, expand unemployment insurance and deliver emergency loans to small businesses. It would also “stabilize key national industries” and provide financial help for hospitals and healthcare providers struggling to get equipment for sick patients, he added. The stimulus package had been expected to boost the economy with a massive infusion of aid, including a $500 billion fund to help hard-hit industries with loans and a comparable amount for direct payments of up to $3,000 to millions of U.S. families.

The International Monetary Fund and World Bank on Wednesday called for governments to put a hold on debt payments from the world’s poorest nations so they can battle the coronavirus pandemic. “The World Bank Group and the IMF believe it is imperative at this moment to provide a global sense of relief for developing countries as well as a strong signal to financial markets,” the Washington-based development lenders said in a joint statement. The move is directed at countries that qualify for the most generous aid from the “IDA” fund aimed at the “two-thirds of the world’s population living in extreme poverty.”

It’s not just grocery shoppers who are hoarding pantry staples. Some governments are moving to secure domestic food supplies during the conoravirus pandemic. Kazakhstan, one of the world’s biggest shippers of wheat flour, banned exports of that product along with others, including carrots, sugar and potatoes. Serbia has stopped the flow of its sunflower oil and other goods. Russia is leaving the door open to shipment bans and said it’s assessing the situation weekly. To be perfectly clear, there have been just a handful of moves and no sure signs that much more is on the horizon. Still, what’s been happening has raised a question: Is this the start of a wave of food nationalism that will further disrupt supply chains and trade flows? “We’re starting to see this happening already — and all we can see is that the lockdown is going to get worse,” said Tim Benton, research director in emerging risks at think tank Chatham House in London.

Andorra set to become latest nation to legalize gay marriage

Andorra, one of Europe’s smallest countries, is set to legalize gay marriage, highlighting that eastern European countries with anti-LGBT laws are “on the wrong side of history”, leading human rights specialists said on Monday. A bill presented by the ruling coalition of Andorra, a nation of 80,000 people on the border of France and Spain, will remove the legal distinction between same-sex civil unions and heterosexual weddings. It is expected to take effect in months. “For countries that continue to discriminate against LGBT people and persecute them as they daposto in Russia, (Andorra’s) move is further evidence that they are on the wrong side of history,” said barrister Jonathan Cooper at Doughty Street Chambers. Katrin Hugendubel, advocacy director at LGBT+ rights group ILGA-Europe, stressed that human rights must not be overlooked as the world suffers under the effects of the coronavirus.

Amid the global pandemic, a Christian non-profit organisation found religious minorities are still facing intense struggles against the Chinese Communist Party. Reports have surfaced of crosses being torn down and churches destroyed in a crackdown against the Christian community within the country. The Voice of the Martyrs, a charity which aims to help oppressed Christians across the world, has studied the climate in China. They have found Chinese officials remain strict on Christians even in the middle of the coronavirus crisis. Todd Nettleton, the organisation’s spokesman, told Fox: “China is now holding itself up as a model for fighting the coronavirus. He added that in Shandong Province, online preaching has been forbidden. In churches all over the world, online ministry has served as a vital part of outreach amid lockdowns, social distancing and self-isolation. In the province, all Christian “meetings without approval” have been forced to shut down. This is currently enforced by the region’s China Christian Council and the Three-Self Patriotic Movement – used to control Christianity in China.

“We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself,” announced President Trump with conviction at the start of his press briefing Monday evening.  As the Senate continues to debate sections of what would be the largest fiscal stimulus in history, Vice President Mike Pence confirmed the largely-anticipated package will include payroll subsidies to small businesses, direct payments of $3,000 to the average family of four, unemployment benefits, and assistance to hospitals and major industries.  “We encourage Congress to act, and ask governors to engage their delegations,” said Pence.Under Section 4512 of the Defense Production Act, President Trump signed an executive order prohibiting the hoarding of vital medical equipment and supplies such as “hand sanitizers, face masks and personal protection equipment.” The secretary of Health and Human Services is now authorized to designate certain medical supplies as scarce, making it a crime to stockpile these supplies in excessive quantities, sell at excessive prices, or otherwise conduct fraudulent schemes related to the pandemic.

   Large and destructive tornado hits Tishomingo, Mississippi — rare tornado emergency issued

 Tornado rips across Mississippi and Alabama, causing injuries and damage

A large and destructive tornado hit the town of Tishomingo in northern Mississippi and moved into northern Alabama on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, forcing authorities to issue a rare tornado emergency. Considerable damage was reported and several people were reportedly injured. The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed the tornado at 22:35 UTC (17:35 CDT) near the city of Tishomingo, far northeastern Mississippi. Tishomingo Police Chief Mike Kemp confirmed several buildings were damaged, including Dollar General variety store which sustained major damage. Kemp said he received reports of several minor injuries, but Mayor Tenson said Wednesday there have been no injuries as a result of the tornado. In addition, numerous trees were downed and the town is without power.

This a warning a reset to the global economy is coming and that one man who will take control of the new reset economy will be the man of sin Jesus warned us about.

Earlier in my time line in my prophecy book I wrote to you about the 2005 Real ID Act that would be forced on every U.S. citizen. Well here we are September 1, 2017 and the UpNorthLive.com news is warning their citizens. “Starting Monday, the state of Michigan will begin to issue new and different driver’s licenses. A federal law is requiring everyone that wants to fly domestically to switch over to what’s called a REAL ID. The REAL ID has been in the works for nearly 12 years.” “Starting January of 2018, if your state has not been compliant, and has not been phasing in, for the the enhanced drivers license and the REAL ID to come to terms with that, you may have to present a different form of ID,” said Travel Authority Manager Bonnie Pintozzi. If you don’t have a REAL ID, which will have a gold star in the upper right hand corner, you will need to fly with a passport or enhanced driver’s license” (UpNorthLive.com Aug. 26, 2017). As I write this section of my book the date today is February 21, 2019. The REAL ID Act has already begun. By October of 2020, there will be no more wiggle room, and all IDs will need to meet compliance standards to be accepted. Take this as a sign of a global ID coming soon.

Looking now at the current events with the ongoing global coronavirus crisis the economic crisis of 2008, was nothing compared to the hit the global economy is currently taking. Take a look at a report issued via Zero Hedge that deals with the coronavirus and its effects on the economy. Here is the headline. “Will Coronavirus Lead to a Recession? This time most of the world has shut down and no one knows how long the global economy will remain at a standstill? From Jesus’s warning in Revelation 13:17 we know a reset on how the world does business has to take place. Currently there is a push to bring about a central bank digital currency and the coronavirus just may push that to happen.

Concerning the proposed CBDC, some pundits have argued that moving forward with its development may help to curb the spread of the virus, as digital currencies reduce the need for hand-to-hand exchange of fiat currency notes.” The report goes on to say, “Despite the delays caused by the viral pandemic, sources close to the development of the CBDC say authorities are intent on moving forward with their plans for the project. Some commentators say research teams working on the CBDC have enough theoretical and technological expertise to navigate any hurdles occasioned by the delay” (ibid). Let me make it perfectly clear for you. Digital currency being formed in our generation may bring on the mark of the beast.

March 24, 2020 Bitcoin.com issued a report entitled: “Disney World Economics: How Coronavirus Could Be Used to Justify a Global Financial Reset” I quote, “What in the world is going on’ has now become a question of real pertinence, instead of just a cliché for common bewilderment. As COVID-19 panic grips the world, ripple effects are crashing markets and effectively canceling economies across the globe, scrawling the writing on the wall for something big. Even the beloved Walt Disney World has announced it will close its doors for the time being. It stands to examine then, whether there is substance to the idea that the ‘world grinding to a halt’ could be used to implement a new financial paradigm. One that is digital, surveillance-based, and most importantly, covers the economic sins of unsustainable times past.”

On December 8, 2016 Tech Toons produced a YouTube video that was to explain how the new crypto currecy will work. At the very end of that video they ask the question you see in the picture below.

What are they alluding to? If the blockchain digital curreny does move to a digital central banking system, and people are forced into that system what will happen to anyone who refuses the new system? Is it possible the Antichrist could use such a cashless system to bring about Revelation 13:17 where Christ warned us of the following: “ And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name”.

March 5, 2020 International Banker wrote the following: “On January 21, 2020, the BIS (Bank for International Settlements) announced that a group of central banks (Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland and the European Central Bank) will share their experiences as they assess the different cases for launching central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) in their home jurisdictions. The recent announcement of a group of central banks stating that they will work together on potential cases for central bank digital currencies in their home jurisdictions, under the umbrella of the BIS, reveals an awareness that this is an area in which international cooperation is necessary. Two important central banks are missing in this group: the US Federal Reserve System (the Fed), which has made clear that it has no intention of issuing anything similar to a CBDC because there is no obvious problem to fix in the US retail-payment system8 (and probably also because they are happy with the status quo of the US dollar receiving most of the “external” seigniorage) and the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), which has announced that its pilot on CBDC is soon to be launched.” The longer the U.S. economy is shut down the greater the rick of a complete collapse. I believe before it is all over those like the US Federal Reserve System will be forced to a new global reset digital currency. As for China, they are in the process of launching their digital currency.

Keep in mind what I am saying here is only a theory. Things can swing in a different direction just as fast as the coronavirus rose to shut down the world’s economic engine. One thing that is not a theory is the coming fulfillment of Revelation 13:17!

Hamas has relayed messages to Egypt and Qatar threatening to “put half of the Israelis into shelters and increase the number of corona patients” if Qatari financial aid is not handed over to the Gaza Strip in the near future. The Lebanese Al Akhbar newspaper, which has reliable sources in Hamas, claims that in response to Hamas’ threats, Israel responded that it would not tolerate renewed attacks from the Gaza Strip. Hamas’ demands come as it seeks to increase aid to the Gaza Strip due to the state of emergency in dealing with the coronavirus and following fears that Qatari aid to Gaza will be postponed.

Imploring Benny Gantz’s Blue and White Party to join the Likud in a national unity government, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Saturday night to rotate as prime minister and to leave the role at the agreed transition date without “any shticks or tricks.” Netanyahu claimed in an interview on Channel 12 that the Likud and Blue and White had completed negotiations for what a national unity government would look like, and under which he would serve first as prime minister and would then be replaced by Gantz. “I will leave office on the agreed date,” Netanyahu said in a message to Gantz. “There will be no shticks and tricks. Millions of Israelis are waiting for us.”

Israeli forces open fire, killing Palestinian throwing rocks in West Bank

Israeli forces shot and killed a 32-year-old Palestinian man overnight Sunday who was hurling rocks at Israeli troops, the Palestinian health ministry and the Israeli military said. The military said it thwarted an attack – which has become a regular occurrence over the past days – and opened fire at a number of suspects who were throwing boulders at Israeli vehicles on a highway in central West Bank, near the town of Qaliqilya. It says one of the suspects, Sufian Khawaja, was killed while another was wounded and escaped. The troops launched a manhunt for the perpetrator in the Palestinian village of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah. Although the fugitive assailant was not located, the forces found rocks stacked in the vehicle of the perpetrator. Both perpetrators are believed to be in their 30s.

Guinea’s opposition says 10 killed in protests

Opposition activists in Guinea say at least 10 people have been killed in street clashes during Sunday’s controversial referendum on a new constitution. Critics said the vote was a ploy by President Alpha Condé to stay in power beyond his mandate. The deaths occurred in the capital, Conakry, where police fired tear gas to disperse demonstrators. Opposition supporters attacked the police, burned polling centres and destroyed voting equipment. Mr Condé, 82, insists the new constitution will bring about positive reforms, especially for women.  Many people say they are worried about the vote taking place during the coronavirus outbreak. More than 30 people have been killed in months of opposition protests against the referendum.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Sunday that the Federal Reserve will play a key role in lending funds to businesses hurt by the coronavirus pandemic. “Working with the Federal Reserve — we’ll have up to $4 trillion of liquidity that we can use to support the economy,” Mnuchin told Fox News on Sunday. “Those are broad-based lending programs. … We can leverage our equity working with the Federal Reserve,” he said. The Treasury secretary said the plan is broad-based to help small and large businesses “get through the next 90 to 120 days,” he said. The bill would also include:  Small-business retention loans aimed at helping companies keep workers on their payrolls. This will cover about half the workforce, Mnuchin said. Payments will include two weeks’ worth of cash flow and some overhead. The loans will be forgiven if workers are not laid off. • Checks for Americans. The average check for a family of four will be $3,000, the Treasury secretary said. • Enhanced unemployment insurance for people who are laid off due to the pandemic.

Israeli generic drug manufacturer Teva Pharmaceuticals has announced that they will donate 6 Million tablets through wholesalers to hospitals across America by March 31.  The corporation added that they will donate over 10 Million within a month according to the company’s blog. TEVA announced on Friday that they will immediately donate over 6 million doses of hydroxychloroquine sulfate tablets via wholesalers to hospitals throughout the U.S. to supply the dire demand for the medication as an ‘investigational target ‘to treat coronavirus. The company is also considering alternative means to address the worldwide demand. “We are committed to helping to supply as many tablets as possible as demand for this treatment accelerates at no cost,” explained Brendan O’Grady, Teva Executive Vice President, North America Commercial. “Immediately upon learning of the potential benefit of hyroxychloroquine, Teva began to assess supply and to urgently acquire additional ingredients to make more product while arranging for all of what we had to be distributed immediately.”

With the National Guard now active in 22 states and governors continuing to declare more severe emergency measures daily, the U.S. military is preparing forces to assume a larger role in the coronavirus response, including the controversial mission of quelling “civil disturbances” and enforcing the law, a mission that the military has not engaged in for almost 30 years. There have been no requests yet to use the National Guard for law enforcement, he made an argument that the states keep “decisions at their level,” out of federal hands, touting the 450,000 strong National Guard as “ready when their governors call.” But planners involved at the Pentagon and U.S. Northern Command, while admitting that the National Guard is the best choice if there is a public breakdown, also say that the Guard may not be able to be relied upon, not just because of the scope of need, but also because it is a citizen force spread out across America and thus as susceptible as the rest of the general population to contracting the virus. These conditions—the enforcement of federal law—don’t apply to the current situation, the senior planner says. The president can determine that the situation exceeds either the capabilities “or willingness” of local authorities to restore law and order, he says, but the very language, the inclusion of the “willingness” clause, shows how much the contingency planning is still written for yesterday’s crises and not applicable to coronavirus. “I’m just not sure that our troops, as good as they are, can be ready for something as widespread and explosive as COVID-19,” the planner says. At the same time, he worries that the presence of uniformed personnel on the streets of America, rather than providing a comforting presence will instead signal the use of federal force and martial law—just making the situation worse.

Israel corona app tells you when you’ve crossed paths with a carrier

The Health Ministry launched Sunday a phone app that enables people to instantly be informed if they have unknowingly crossed paths with a coronavirus victim so that they can quarantine themselves. Called HaMagen (“The Shield”), the app “allows you to get a notification (time and date) regarding your exposure to a confirmed patient” within the past 14 days, said the ministry in an accompanying statement. The application, available both in the Google Play store and Apple’s AppStore, is updated in real-time with the history of every new patient’s whereabouts. This way, people do not have to keep studying the ministry’s website to see if they were in the vicinity of someone who has tested positive. Upon opening the app, Health Ministry data is automatically cross-referenced with all the places people have been with their phones. If a match is made, the app “redirects the user to a link to the Health Ministry’s website, which will let you know what steps to take and allow you to report to the Health Ministry for home isolation.”

  Earthquake rocks Croatia’s capital Zagreb

An earthquake has rocked Croatia’s capital Zagreb, damaging buildings and leaving cars crushed by falling chunks of masonry. A teenager is in a critical condition after a roof collapsed, local media say. The spire of the city’s cathedral also snapped off. After Sunday’s tremor, Zagreb’s mayor urged people to return to their homes given fears about the coronavirus. The 5.3-magnitude quake is the largest to affect the city in 140 years.

Earlier today I posted a link to a video which showed a figure of Jesus in the clouds moving up and down over and over again.  Some of you went right over to the video and saw it but since I posted the video of this false Christ in the clouds that someone had made FaceBook has just put up the following message: Sorry, this content isn’t available right now.

Below is what I posted after I saw that video. You may want to read it in case the video starts playing again. 

I can not believe people are falling for this trick either via a hologram or project Blue Beam. What was one of the first things Jesus warns us about. Matthew 24: 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24: 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Jesus told us how He would come back. When Jesus does return the entire world will see him and declared in Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Those of us who know God’s word know that Jesus will come in the clouds but, it won’t be as in the video where a select group of people see Him and, He will not come until the end of the tribulation. I wonder how many people in your church have seen this and believed it? 

This is why it is so important to know what the Bible teaches us. The days of deception are upon us.

When you watch the video you will hear people praising God as they see this figure continely go up and down in the same exact fashion which is a pattern of a hologram would do. Do not fall for this trick.

I found it very interesting that there was a warning something like this false flag of Jesus was coming. That warning was issued in December of 2019 and look at what showed up!

  Israel seals border to protect residents from coronavirus

Until the corona crisis is under control, Israel is not permitting foreigners to enter the country, unless they have residency permits, to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Population and Immigration Authority announced. “Following two weeks of restricting entry to travelers who are neither citizens nor residents of the State of Israel, the Health Ministry has recommended stricter entry prevention measures to halt the spread of the coronavirus,” said the statement, according to a report by i24 News on Wednesday.

New Iraq Group Claiming Attacks on US Troops says it can strike Israel

US-led coalition troops pull out of base in western Iraq

An Iraqi militia that has claimed a series of rocket attacks targeting U.S. and partnered troops has claimed its fighters were capable of striking Israel. In one of two videos posted Tuesday and Wednesday by what appeared to be a new Shiite Muslim militia calling itself Usbat al-Thayireen, or League of Revolutionaries, a masked man wielding a Kalashnikov-style assault rifle warned recent rocket strikes against Al-Taji and Basmaya military camps “and whatever will happen far beyond that” was just the beginning. “It is the least of the power that we can use against them,” the camo-clad figure said on the backdrop of an Iraqi flag, warning the group’s “victorious, blooming, prideful and dignified arsenal has far longer-range weapons that can kill you in the land of your spoiled child, Israel.” He then directly addressed President Donald Trump and the friends of the two U.S. personnel who were killed alongside a U.K. service member by Katyusha rocket fire at Al-Taji last week, urging them “to leave vertically before we force them to leave horizontally.”

Rocket attack in northwest Syria kills two Turkish soldiers

Two Turkish soldiers have been killed in a rocket attack in Syria’s northwestern Idlib province, Turkey’s defence ministry has said. A ministry statement said a third soldier was wounded in Thursday’s attack, which it said was carried out by “radical groups”. Turkey’s artillery units immediately mounted a powerful retaliation, the ministry said, but did not provide further details.

Turkey retaliates after attack kills troops in Idlib

Turkey’s Defense Ministry said on March 19 that two of its soldiers were killed and another was injured in Syria’s northwestern province of Idlib, in a rocket attack by “some radical groups”. In a written statement, the ministry said the radical groups in the de-escalation zone attacked Turkish soldiers, adding that its forces had opened fire on targets in the area. “Targets determined in the region immediately were taken under fire and retaliated in proportion,” the statement said. Meanwhile, in a Twitter post, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar extended his condolences to the families of the martyrs and the Turkish nation. Turkey, which backs rebels opposed to Syria’s Bashar al-Assad, agreed to a ceasefire with Russia two weeks ago after months of fighting displaced nearly 1 million people in Idlib. Moscow supports the Syrian regime forces. The two were the first Turkish soldiers killed in Idlib since the ceasefire was implemented.

Iran is the Middle Eastern nation worst hit by coronavirus, with its death toll climbing to 1,284 and one person dying from it every 10 minutes and 50 becoming infected every hour, the health ministry said. The United States, which argues that its “maximum pressure” campaign to curb Iran’s nuclear, missile and regional activities does not stop the flow of humanitarian goods, imposed new sanctions this week. The Trump administration blacklisted five companies based in the United Arab Emirates, three in mainland China, three in Hong Kong and one in South Africa for trade in Iran’s petrochemicals. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump reportedly backed off a large-scale response against Iran following a deadly rocket attack in Iraq, over fears that doing so in the midst of the coronavirus crisis would harm his administration’s image. Trump made the comment to his top national security advisers in a meeting last week on possible responses to the attack by Iranian proxies, according to NBC News, citing former and current administration officials.

25 Afghan forces killed in insider attack

Kabul orders Afghan forces to switch to ‘active defense’ as Taliban attacks continue

At least 25 police and army personnel were killed in an apparent insider attack at a joint military and police base early Friday, Afghan officials said. The attack took place in southern Zabul province, a Taliban stronghold. Assadullah Kakar, a provincial council member, said the Taliban carried out the attack, but with the assistance of Afghan police and army personnel inside the base. A Ministry of Defense statement released several hours later said the Taliban attack was carried out with inside help, but gave a lower casualty figure of 17 Afghan forces killed – 11 soldiers and six police. It was not immdiately possible to resolve the conflicting accounts

 Chinese expert says ‘viable option’ to attack US warships with EMP in South China Sea

The Chinese state media outlet Global Times published an article on Tuesday in which Chinese military experts discussed the viability of using an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack to paralyze U.S. warships transiting the disputed South China Sea. The Chinese outlet appeared to refer specifically to the USS Roosevelt aircraft carriers strike group’s recent passage through the South China Sea. “This is the third time in just a week US warships are known to have trespassed into the South China Sea,” the Chinese outlet wrote, referring to the Roosevelt carrier group’s passage and other U.S. Navy activity in the disputed waters. The outlet also published comments from People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Southern Theater Command spokesperson Li Huamin in which he said the U.S. has been using “freedom of navigation” exercises as an excuse to violate Chinese sovereignty over the disputed waters.

Pakistan, China and Russia decide to conduct trade in local currencies skip dollars

The eight-member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), including China, Russia, and Pakistan, have made the principle decision to conduct bilateral trade and investment and issue bonds in local and national currencies instead of US dollars. As per details, a road map will be finalized and signed at SCO’s Finance Ministers’ meeting in Moscow on March 18th. Russia, as chairman of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, has called for suggestions from all member states for trade and investment in local currencies. After a detailed review of these proposals in Moscow’s meeting, a system of mutual settlement of national currencies will be introduced for the member countries of the SCO. All member states will sign a roadmap for trade and investment in national currencies between member states. Russia has issued the agenda for the SCO’s Finance Ministers’ meeting summoned in Moscow on March 18.

 Bank of America says the recession is already here: ‘Jobs will be lost, wealth will be destroyed’

Bank of America warned investors on Thursday that a coronavirus-induced recession is no longer avoidable — it’s already here. “We are officially declaring that the economy has fallen into a recession … joining the rest of the world, and it is a deep plunge,” Bank of America U.S. economist Michelle Meyer wrote in a note. “Jobs will be lost, wealth will be destroyed and confidence depressed.” The firm expects the economy to “collapse” in the second quarter, shrinking by 12%. GDP for the full year will contract by 0.8%, it said. Bank of America looked at the labor market as a way to understand the “magnitude of the economic shock.” The firm expects the unemployment rate to nearly double, with roughly 1 million jobs lost each month of the second quarter for a total of 3.5 million.

Paper money shunned for fear of virus spread

In a world suffering a pandemic, cash is no longer king. A growing number of businesses and individuals worldwide have stopped using banknotes in fear that physical currency, handled by tens of thousands of people over their useful life, could be a vector for the spreading coronavirus. Public officials and health experts have said that the risk of transferring the virus person-to-person through the use of banknotes is small. But that has not stopped businesses from refusing to accept currency and some countries from urging their citizens to stop using banknotes altogether. Experts say cash does carry a risk of transmitting the virus, but the risk from cash so far is small compared with other transmission routes. A scientific paper published early in the outbreak found the virus can live on cardboard for up to 24 hours and up to three days on plastic and stainless steel. The researchers, however, did not test whether it can live on banknote paper. The presence of live virus particles on banknotes does not mean they are a health hazard, public health experts said. Virus particles are unlikely to return to the air, or aerosolize, once on a surface.

A Nigerian civil society organization claims that no fewer than 350 Christians have been killed across the West African country since the start of 2020 and estimates that about 11,500 Christians have been killed since 2015. “Nigeria has fully become a killing field of defenseless Christians,” the Anambra-based nongovernmental organization International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety) said this week in a new special report, titled “Nigeria: A Killing Field Of Defenseless Christians.” “Available statistics have shown that between 11,500 and 12,000 Christian deaths were recorded in the past 57 months or since June 2015 when the present central government of Nigeria came on board. Out of this figure, Jihadist Fulani herdsmen accounted for 7,400 Christian deaths, Boko Haram 4,000 and the ‘Highway Bandits’ 150-200.”

The new method, called pooling allows for the simultaneous testing of some 60 patients, which should “greatly increase” the rate at which infections are identified. Researchers at Israel’s Technion–Israel Institute of Technology and Rambam Health Care Campus have successfully tested a new method, called “pooling,” that they claim will dramatically increase the country’s ability to test for COVID-19. Because the method enables simultaneous testing of dozens of samples, its implementation will greatly accelerate the rate of COVID-19 testing and detection, according to the researchers. COVID-19 testing in Israel is currently focusing on symptomatic individuals, because the current rate of testing—about 1,200 a day—does not allow for monitoring of asymptomatic carriers in the population, though such monitoring is vital to curb the epidemic. Meanwhile, in America, The National Guard is expecting a rapid increase in unit activations over the next few weeks, leaders said at the Pentagon Thursday, filling roles like coronavirus testing and potentially law enforcement. Governors in 27 states have already activated elements of their National Guard forces, but everywhere in the country, state leaders have declared states of emergency, said Air Force Gen. Joseph L. Lengyel, chief of the National Guard Bureau.

Locust crisis poses a danger to millions, forecasters warn

Locusts are coming to Africa and the Middle East just in time for Passover, though will likely not affect Israel or the country’s crops, The Times of Israel reported on Monday, citing Locust Watch, part of the Food and Agriculture Organization at the United Nations. The organization’s most recent forecast reports “extremely alarming” swarms of Desert Locust (Schistocerca gregaria) forming in the Horn of Africa. The countries hit the hardest are expected to be Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Iran, Pakistan and Sudan, the latter of which will likely be affected later this summer, senior locust forecasting officer Keith Cressman, who works at Locust Watch, told The Times of Israel. The last time the region was in such danger was during 1987-89.

Massive floods hit capital Dili, destroying nearly 200 homes and affecting over 25 000 people, East Timor

Several hours of very heavy rains caused widespread flooding in capital Dili, East Timor (Timor-Leste) on March 13, 2020. Authorities are reporting at least 25 000 people or 4 000 households are affected. Even though the floods have now receded, affected communities are still in need of essential relief items such as food and drinking water. Heavy downpours began striking the capital city of Dili on March 13, causing rivers to break their banks. According to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), at least 190 residential properties were completely destroyed and many others damaged. In addition, floods damaged or destroyed roads, bridges, electricity towers and other infrastructure. In addition, the newly-built Bridge BJ Habibie was destroyed just 7 months after the inauguration.
