Concerning this Temple Mount area that 3rd Temple will be rebuilt, a few days ago I showed you how the Israeli military has been getting involved in keeping Jews safe who want to go up to the Temple Mount. This is a clear message that we are much closer to seeing the Jews gain full access to the Mount. Well there was another sign that things will be changing soon on the Mount! First read the Bible verses that talk about another Temple being built and then read today’s news about the Jewish Temple Bath. Prophecy Signs: Daniel 9:27 “He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel-let the reader understand”. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 “He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” The “He” this verse is talking about is the Antichrist!  END OF 2013 post quote.

 Since November, 2013 the issue of Jews going to pray on the Temple Mount has gotten much worse to the point where a special meeting has been called by Jordan’s king.  Why do you think the Jordan king is meeting with 5 other leaders concerning the Temple Mount?  Because they are worried that Israel is in the beginning stage of taking full control of the Temple Mount area.  Keep in mind that Jordan is named as one of the nations that is going to attack Israel in the Psalm 83 war.

Revelation 7: 16 “Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat.” Revelation 16:8 “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire.”  As time goes on if you have been watching the news you would have seen many reports concerning the worry over how fast our planet is losing our fresh water supply. Of course this is bad for the very reasons Jesus points to in the two verses above.  As the intense heat beats down on our planet you can say goodbye to more crops as the water supply drys up and, complex problems over how to get nations drinking water.  Like the issue on the Temple Mount this road to is leading to the fulfillment of what Jesus warned would take place in the last days.  Right now there is a host of nations that would go to war over water rights such as the rights over the Euphrates river.  If you are new to prophecy you should also understand that Jesus told us that this Euphrates river was going to dry up and it is in the midst of doing just that right now!  As an example of water issues take a look at what Australia has been dealing with in their drought over these past 14 years.

Between this scripture and the other warnings about the lack of food I hope you are paying attention to the number of bees that are dying off?  These bees are a major reason why we have so many crops around the world but, they are dying off in mass numbers.  In my free book you can read at this site you will see the number of reports concerning the mass bee deaths.  What we are witnessing is the birth pains leading to massive price hicks in food prices and the food supply decreases as a result of the bees dying out.

May I ask you if you were aware of the issues I reported on today?  If not I can tell you why you are not aware of them. You may not like what I am about to say but, Jesus has put me in this ministry not to try and please anyone but rather tell His truth about things to come and being ready to meet our Lord God and Savior.  The issues I covered today are both found in the Bible.  If you are not reading the Bible you are clueless to the events taking place around us as pointed out by Christ.  Jesus gave us a command to watch for these things to take place so, if you are not studying the word of God you no doubt are also not doing what Jesus commanded us do to (keep on the watch).  It all downs to a matter of the heart.  How much do you love Jesus?  Are you the type of  person who calls himself or herself a follower of Christ yet does not do the very things Jesus asks of you? I can assure you Jesus knows those people who are walking with Him as  a true believer and, are doing His will Like wise He also knows the people who are just Christian by mouth only. What I am trying to do here is wake up the hearts of those who are walking in the dark.  Let the light of Christ begin to shine in your life and let others see that light as we are closing in on the Lord’s return.  When the Lord calls us home I want you to be their and not ashamed of how you waited for His call.  Am I perfect? Not at all. However, each day I talk with Christ and ask Him to forgive anything I have done that I wasn’t suppose to do even if I didn’t even know I did something wrong.  I want my heart to be the heart like David who desired to have the heart of God.   Who’s heart do you desire to be like?

Headline: Putin’s offer to shield & develop Israel’s gas fields predated Russia’s military buildup in Syria

More than a fortnight ago, Russian President Vladimir put a proposition to Israel for Moscow to undertake responsibility for guarding Israel’s Mediterranean gas fields, along with the offer of a Russian investment of $7-10 billion for developing Leviathan, the largest well, and building a pipeline to Turkey for exporting the gas to Europe, debkafile reports. The offer was made to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in confidential phone conversations and through quiet envoys. At the time, Putin did not share with Netanyahu his plans for an imminent buildup of marines, air force units, warships and missiles in Syria, although the plan had been worked out in detail with Tehran in late July. The Russian ruler put it this way: Leviathan abuts on the fringes of Lebanon’s economic water zone and is therefore vulnerable to potential sabotage by Iran, Syria or Hizballah, whether by commando or rocket attack. A multibillion Russian investment in the field would make it a Russian project which neither Syria nor Hizballah would dare attack, even though it belongs to Israel. But now the situation has assumed a different face. Russian forces are streaming to Latakia, and Moscow has declared the area from Tartous, Syria up to Cyprus closed to shipping and air traffic from Sept. 15 to Oct. 7 in view of a “military exercise including test firings of guided missiles” from Russian warships. Israel’s strategic landscape had in fact changed radically in respects:

1. Its government can no longer accept as a working hypothesis (which never, incidentally, held up) the short term expectancy of the Assad regime. The injection of Russian military might, combined with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards forces, have given Assad a substantial lease of life. The Israel Defense Forces must therefore revamp its posture on the Syrian front, and reassess its sponsorship of the select rebel groups which are holding the line in southern Syria against hostile Iranian or Hizballah cross-border attacks on northern Israel.The changing attitude was suggested in views heard in the last couple of days from top Israeli security officials, who now say that leaving Assad in office might be the better option, after all.

2. The new Russian ground, air and sea buildup taking shape in Syria provides a shield not just for the Assad regime but also Hizballah. This too calls for changes in Israel’s military posture.
3. The Russian military presence in Syria seriously inhibits Israel’s flexibility for launching military action against Iranian or Hizballah targets when needed.

Israeli police raided the plaza outside Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa mosque on Sunday in what they said was a bid to head off Palestinian attempts to disrupt visits by Jews and foreign tourists on the eve of the Jewish New Year. The Palestinian youths, Israeli police said in a statement, had intended “to disrupt the routine of visits to the Temple Mount on the eve of Rosh Hashana”, the Jewish New Year, which begins at sunset on Sunday. Police used tear gas and threw stun grenades towards the Palestinian youths, who barricaded themselves inside the mosque and hurled rocks and flares, a Reuters witness said. “A police force … surprised the barricaded youngsters and entered the Temple Mount area” so that the visits could get under way, the statement added. Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan praised the Israeli Security Forces actions and restoration of order to the Temple Mount. “Having prepared in advance, knowing that this was the eve of Rosh Hashana, the Temple Mount is now open to anyone who wishes to visit,” Erdan said. The minister went on to say that the current arrangements concerning the Temple Mount would need to be rethought. “This holy place cannot be a battle-zone for entrenched Muslim rioters to throw stones and fireworks at security forces. This is the most serious and flagrant violation of the status quo yet, it will not go over in silence.” he added. No serious injuries were reported and the compound was opened to visitors after the violence subsided, police said.

Headline: Second day of Temple Mount clashes

The Temple Mount saw clashes between Palestinians and security forces for the second day in a row on Monday, the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah. An official at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said that the prime minister would convene an “emergency meeting” over recent Palestinian attacks on Tuesday. In Jerusalem, masked youths threw stones at police officers preparing to open the Temple Mount to visitors on Monday morning. A policeman was lightly wounded and was treated at the scene. A young Jewish passerby was also reportedly attacked. Nine arrests were made. Netanyahu will hold the consultations with top ministers Tuesday night after Rosh Hashanah ends. “The prime minister views with great severity the throwing of rocks and fire bombs against Israeli citizens and intends to fight the phenomena by all means, including increasing punishment and enforcement,” the official said anonymously according to protocol.

Headline: Palestinians draft 1st state constitution

Palestinians announced Monday the finalizing of the State of Palestine‘s first Constitution draft, declared an official. Head of the drafting committee in the Palestinian Constitution Committee, Ahmed Al-Khaldi, told Xinhua that an official committee was commissioned to prepare a constitution for a state, not for a national authority nor an interim authority. He explained that intensive work has been carried out since May to prepare the 273 constitution articles which will merge parliamentary and presidential governing systems. Al-Khaldi explained that the draft guarantees the rights of Palestinians, such as the refugees’ right of return and compensation “according to resolutions set by the international authorities,” as well as maintaining both the role and position of Palestine’s Liberation Organization (PLO) in the Palestinian political system. He said that the committee had submitted the draft to the Palestinian Constitution Committee, headed by the speaker of the Palestinian National Council (PNC), Salem Zanoun. The Palestinian Constitution Committee will finalize an edition and present it to Palestinian party leaders before organizing a national referendum, explained Al-Khaldi.

Headline: Jordan Blasts Israel for ‘Attack’ on Temple Mount

Jordan, which has custodian rights over Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, condemned the Israeli army on Sunday calling their defense during an Arab mob riot on the holy site an “attack.” Egypt, the only other Arab country to have signed a peace treaty with the Jewish state, also condemned Israeli actions at the Temple Mount, which is sacred to both Muslims and Jews. “The Jordanian government condemns the assault carried out by special forces of the Israeli occupation army against the Al-Aqsa mosque compound,” Information Minister Mohammed Momani said. He accused Israel of “provocations” and “attempts to change the status quo” at Judaism’s holiest site. Under the current status quo, Jews are permitted to visit the esplanade but not to pray there for fear it would cause friction with Muslim worshippers. Earlier Sunday, masked Muslim rioters hurled rocks and fireworks at police on the Temple Mount, as well as firebombs near two entrances to the site. Jerusalem District Police and Border Police were forced to respond with riot dispersal measures. Despite defending themselves from rioters, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry condemned the police’s use of tear gas and sound bombs as an “unacceptable escalation against Muslim holy places in the occupied Palestinian territories.”

Headline:   Zabadani rebels trapped in 1 square kilometer: Al-Manar

The Syrian army and Hezbollah have advanced further toward the center of the Syrian border town of Zabadani, trapping rebels in one square kilometer area, Al-Manar TV reported Sunday. The Hezbollah-run channel said the allied forces captured the Al-Jisr Mosque in the western part of central Zabadani during their recent advancements, and discovered explosives left inside by militants. The rebels, surrounded in one twenty-fifth of Zabadani’s total area, also suffered a number of casualties in the recent battles, the channel added.
The developments come two days after rebels ended a large-scale offensive on Hezbollah bases on the eastern outskirts of Zabadani, which resulted in the deaths of seven fighters Thursday and Friday.

Headline: Egypt government resigns amid corruption inquiry

Egypt’s government has resigned and the country’s oil minister has been asked to form a new cabinet within a week, the office of President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi has said. No official reason was given for the government’s resignation. However, a senior source was quoted as saying the aim was to reshuffle the cabinet following a corruption scandal. Last Monday, Egypt’s agriculture minister was arrested in connection with the corruption inquiry. In a statement, the presidency said Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab had delivered the government’s resignation to President Sisi who accepted it. It said the president had asked outgoing oil minister Sharif Ismail to form the new cabinet within a week. The outgoing government is to play a caretaker role until then, the statement said. A senior government official quoted by AFP news agency said the reshuffle was to “pump new blood” into the government following the arrest of agriculture minister Salah Helal. Shortly before his arrest, Mr Helal had resigned on the orders of President Sisi. Reports said the arrest was in connection with allegations that officials took bribes to help businessmen illegally acquire state land.

Headline: Mexican tourists killed by Egyptian security forces

Security forces in Egypt have mistakenly killed 12 people, including Mexican tourists, during an anti-terror operation, the interior ministry says. The tourists were travelling in four vehicles that entered a restricted zone in the Wahat area of the Western Desert, the ministry said. Sources said eight of those killed were Mexicans. Ten Mexicans and Egyptians were also injured. Egypt has been battling Islamist militants for years. Attacks on army and police, mainly in the Sinai peninsula, have escalated since Islamist President Mohammed Morsi was ousted in 2013. Egypt’s interior ministry said the four vehicles the tourists were travelling in were “mistakenly dealt with” during a joint military police and armed forces operation. It said the incident happened on Sunday in an area that “was off limits to foreign tourists”, but it did not give an exact location. Survivors said they suffered an “aerial attack” after stopping for a meal, according to Mexican Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu. She could only confirm that two Mexican nationals had been killed. Mexico’s President Enrique Pena Nieto condemned the incident and demanded an “exhaustive” investigation by Egypt.

Syria Headline:   11 dead in rebel shelling on Damascus

Eleven people were killed in evening rebel rocket fire on the Syrian capital Damascus, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Saturday. The Britain-based activist group said the deaths were in the Duwaylaa neighborhood of Damascus, adding that most of those killed appeared to be civilians. At least 20 people were also injured in the Friday shelling, the group said. The shelling on Damascus came as an Islamist rebel group that often fires on the capital began an assault on Syria’s largest prison. Jaish al-Islam began the attack on Adra prison near Damascus on Friday, seizing two buildings, according to the Observatory.

Russia’s military build-up in Syria has grown to include the shipment of a half-dozen highly sophisticated battle tanks — and more troops — a defense official told Fox News, in what the source called the “first clear sign of offensive weapons arriving in Syria.” The Pentagon has now tracked a total of 15 Russian Antonov-124 Condor flights into Syria, reflecting a steady stream of military cargo into Syria. According to the latest intelligence, this also includes the arrival of two more Russian cargo ships, containing the tanks. Up to this point, the official said, the Russian cargo and weapons that have been delivered to Syria could be viewed as defensive in nature. The arrival of tanks cannot be viewed this way. The official said that Russian offensive operations could launch from Bassel Al-Assad International Airport “very soon.” The massive Condor flights carrying all kinds of supplies now arrive twice a day through Iran and Iraq into Bassel Al-Assad International Airport outside the port city of Latakia. The cargo is for Russian soldiers, not Syrian government forces, but is seen as a build-up to aid Bashar Assad’s embattled regime. The defense official, briefed on the latest satellite photos of the Syrian coastline, said: “This is the largest deployment of Russian forces outside the former Soviet Union since the collapse of the USSR.”

Syria Headline:   Two car bombs kill at least 26 people in eastern Syrian city: monitor, state media

Two car bomb blasts killed at least 26 people and wounded dozens more in the mostly Kurdish-controlled eastern Syrian city of Hasaka on Monday, a monitor and state media reported. The separate explosions targeted and killed Kurdish fighters in one area and Syrian government forces in another, and also left at least 13 civilians dead, the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. The first blast on Monday hit Khashman area in the north of the city targeting Kurdish internal security forces there and killing six of them, the Observatory said. The second targeted a Syrian government forces headquarters in the center of Hasaka, killing seven security personnel, it said. State news agency SANA confirmed the total toll of 26. State TV gave an initial count of 20 people killed in the second blast alone. The Observatory said at least 13 civilians including two children were killed in the blasts. Hasaka had been divided into zones controlled by the Syrian government and the Kurds until an Islamic State attack in June.

Syria Headline:   Rebels cut Damascus-Homs highway

The Army of Islam has cut the key M5 highway leading from Damascus toward Homs in the northeastern outskirts of the Syrian capital in an operation the rebel group said involved thousands of fighters. Pro-Syrian regime outlets reported that heavy fighting near the regime-controlled Dahiyet al-Assad suburb of Damascus has forced the closure of the motorway, which provides a key lifeline into the capital from the coast via Homs. Al-Khabar TV said Monday that “military operations in the area around Dahiyet al-Assad north of the capital are ongoing for the third day running.” “The Damascus-Homs international highway remains closed on both sides from the town of Harasta,” the pro-regime outlet added. Despite the prevalence of reports of the highway’s cutting—including on a number of opposition news outlets—Syria’s official state media has yet to make any mention of it. The Army of Islam, in turn, touted its offensive in northern Damascus with a bombastic statement Saturday in which the group claimed thousands of its fighters were taking part in an operation to seize government positions “in the mountainous military area which besieges Damascus Ghouta.” “The Army of Islam has launched the ‘Allah is Predominant’ battle in the mountain chain [overlooking] Eastern Ghouta after one and a half years of scouting, digging tunnels and training thousands of mujahideen to fight in barren areas,” the group announced.

Iraq Headline:  160 US troops arrive in Iraq’s Habbaniyah air base

A force of 160 American army soldiers have landed in Iraq as part of ongoing efforts by a US-led coalition to defeat the Islamic State that has captured swathes of the country and its war-torn Syrian neighbor, the Arabic-language media outlet Asharq Al-Awsat said. Iraqi security sources told the pan-Arab paper that the force landed at a military base in the Anbar province, from where Iraq is running its offensive against IS, Israel’s Walla news reported Saturday. The base is already hosting hundreds of American Army personnel who are training the local forces, but this is the first time that a US fighting force has arrived in Anbar, the report said. The soldiers are expected to take part in an operation to oust the Islamic State from Ramadi, the capital of Anbar province, and some 70 miles (115 kilometers) west of Baghdad.

Headline: Regional Conflict between Iran and Turkey Manifests in Iraq

An Iranian-backed Iraqi Shi’a militia kidnapped 18 Turkish workers in Baghdad and subsequently demanded concessions from Turkey related to its policies in Syria and Lebanon. Turkey has recently concluded an agreement with the United States to support the anti-ISIS coalition particularly in Syria, where Turkey has also increased its support to opposition groups fighting the Iranian-backed Assad regime. Kurdish militants killed two police officers in a car bomb attack on a checkpoint in southeast Turkey on Sunday, as authorities imposed a curfew in the region’s largest city Diyarbakir where clashes broke out, security sources said. Turkish forces backed up by helicopters and commandos shelled a mountainous area where the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) fighters had fled after the checkpoint attack in Sirnak province, killing six of them, the sources added. A police officer was reported killed in another confrontation. In other central areas of the city, police fired tear gas and water cannon at small groups of youths who threw stones and tried to set up street barricades in protest against the curfew. Speaking to reporters near the Sur district, the leader of the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), Selahattin Demirtas, called for the Turkish state and PKK leadership across the border in Iraq’s Qandil mountains to halt the violence and return to peace talks. “Both Ankara and Qandil must take a position that responds to the people’s expectation with a clear, concrete project,” he said. “Even if the peace (talks) table has been upturned it is in our power to put it up again.”

Iran has discovered an unexpectedly high reserve of uranium and will soon begin extracting the radioactive element at a new mine, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation said on Saturday. The comments cast doubt on previous assessments from some Western analysts who said the country had a low supply and would sooner or later would need to import uranium, the raw material needed for its nuclear program. Any indication Iran could become more self-sufficient will be closely watched by world powers, which reached a landmark deal with Tehran in July over its program. They had feared the nuclear activities were aimed at acquiring the capability to produce atomic weapons – something denied by Tehran. “I cannot announce (the level of) Iran’s uranium mine reserves. The important thing is that before aerial prospecting for uranium ores we were not too optimistic, but the new discoveries have made us confident about our reserves,” Iranian nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi was quoted as saying by state news agency IRNA. Salehi said uranium exploration had covered almost two-thirds of Iran and would be complete in the next four years.

The deeply forested valley is a key Taliban stronghold and a main smuggling route into Afghanistan.

In the interview, Qahtani is referred to as the “Delegated Leader for the Libyan State” and there has been no mention of him in Libya before. A Tripoli-based activist told IBTimes UK he had not heard of the IS fighter before the publication of the magazine and said there had been no information about the arrival of a new IS leader in the group’s Libyan stronghold of Sirte. “I do not know if the new leader has arrived in Sirte because there is no talk of him so far. I think they [Islamic State] are preparing him for Libya because they never holdback in announcing such changes,” he said. “It is unclear to me why he has not been named by Daesh [IS] in Sirte.”

The dismissal suggests the hidden power structure in Algiers, called ‘le pouvoir’ by Algerians, is in some murky turmoil. He was known as the “Lord of Algeria” and was the longest serving intelligence chief in the world — a J Edgar Hoover-like figure who dominated Algerian politics and had files on everyone. Yet on Sunday, Mohamed “Toufik” Mediene was summarily fired by President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, ending his 25-year tenure at the head of Algeria’s fearsome intelligence service, the Directorate of Intelligence and Security. Austria, Slovakia and the Netherlands said they would tighten controls, hours after Germany imposed checks on its border with Austria. It came as EU interior ministers held emergency talks in Brussels. Hungary also completed a fence along its border with Serbia on Monday, and blocked a railway line used as the main crossing point by migrants. The BBC’s Fergal Keane at the border said people were being directed to an official registration point near the town of Roszke. Hungary is due to enforce tougher measures from midnight, including arresting illegal immigrants, and Prime Minister Viktor Orban told Hungary’s TV2 a state of emergency was “likely” to be introduced in the border area. The new border checks further north are a challenge to the EU’s Schengen agreement on free movement, although the rules do allow for temporary controls in emergencies. European states have been struggling to cope with a record influx of migrants, many aiming for Germany. EU ministers are due to vote on a plan from May to redistribute an initial 40,000 asylum seekers from Syria and Eritrea through mandatory quotas, though Central and East European states have opposed this. The EU has since raised the total number of people it seeks to share out through quotas to 160,000 asylum seekers across 23 EU states.

Colombia has said that two Venezuelan military jets entered its airspace without warning or authorization. The planes encroached into Colombian airspace twice on Saturday morning, according to the defence ministry. They reportedly flew over a border military base in the Alta Guajira region before returning to Venezuela. Colombian officials have demanded an explanation from Venezuela, which has yet to comment. Relations between the two countries have been tense. “Initially the Venezuelan military planes entered 2.9km (1.8 miles) into Colombian airspace,” a statement from Colombia’s Ministry of Defence said. The jets then returned to Venezuela and crossed into Colombian airspace again, “flying over a military base in the La Flor region”. The planes went 2.3km (1.4 miles) west of the border before flying back towards Castilletes, on the Colombian-Venezuelan border, the statement added. On 19 August, Venezuela closed most crossings along the long, porous border with Colombia and launched a major anti-smuggling operation. More than 1,000 Colombians living across the border were expelled for alleged involvement either with smuggling gangs or paramilitary groups. Thousands of other Colombians fled fearing reprisals.

The moves push back the prospects of a peaceful resolution to the conflict that has developed into a proxy war reflecting Saudi and Iranian rivalry for regional influence. Loyalists of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi have been battling the Iran-allied Houthis across Yemen since March, when the group forced him and his administration to flee to Saudi Arabia. In March, Saudi Arabia assembled an Arab coalition that mounted a fierce air campaign against the rebels. It is believed Iran is planning to use the Houthis to take over Yemen and seize the key strategic port of Aden, which controls the entrance to the Red Sea and ultimately to the Israeli resort city of Eilat, though Tehran denies the charges. The exiled government’s official news agency Saba said it would not join the UN mediated peace talks until the Houthis accepted an April UN Security Council resolution calling on them to recognize Hadi and quit Yemen’s main cities. “The gathering affirmed it would not take part in any meeting until the (Houthi) coup militia recognize international resolution 2216 and accepts to implement it unconditionally,” a statement carried by Saba and quoted by Reuters said. Headline: Federal debt held by the public totals $107,000 per household

The federal debt held by the public totals more than $13 trillion, or about $107,000 per household in the United States, according to a report released this month by the Cato Institute. The report, titled “Washington’s Largest Monument: Government Debt,” suggests that growing debt, which has doubled over the past seven years, poses a burden on future taxpayers and could lead to a financial crisis. According to Cato, financing government debt through tax collection creates distortions since much of federal spending goes to subsidy and benefit programs, which reduce work incentives and savings. One economist says that “it costs taxpayers $3 to provide a benefit worth $1 to recipients.” In addition to misallocating resources, growing debt may cause private investment and saving to decline. “Businesses may be reluctant to make long-term investments if high and rising debt creates fears of tax increases down the road,” states the report. Debt held by the public is a different measure than the widely reported gross debt measure, which is now more than $18 trillion.

Health authorities quarantined hundreds of people in northern Sierra Leone on Monday after a 16-year-old girl died of Ebola in an apparent case of sexual transmission, the first confirmed death from the virus in the district for nearly six months. Sierra Leone celebrated last month when it discharged the last remaining Ebola patient from its treatment centers. But since then a new spate of cases has erupted, leaving two dead and five people in treatment. The next two years could be the hottest on record globally, says research from the UK’s Met Office. It warns big changes could be under way in the climate system with greenhouse gases increasing the impact of natural trends. The research shows that a major El Nino event is in play in the Pacific, which is expected to heat the world overall. But it also reveals that summers in Europe might get cooler for a while as the rest of the globe warms. The scientists confirm that in 2015 the Earth’s average surface temperature is running at, or near, record levels (0.68C above the 1961-1990 average). Met Office Hadley Centre director Prof Stephen Belcher said: “We know natural patterns contribute to global temperatures in any given year, but the very warm temperatures so far this year indicate the continued impact of (manmade) greenhouse gases. “With the potential that next year could be similarly warm, it’s clear that our climate continues to change.” An external reviewer, Prof Rowan Sutton, from the University of Reading, confirmed: “Unless there’s a big volcanic eruption, it looks very likely that globally 2014, 2015 and 2016 will be among the very warmest years ever recorded. “This isn’t a fluke. Mount Aso, Japan’s largest active volcano, erupted on Monday, sending plumes of smoke 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) into the air and prompting tourist evacuations, Japan’s Meteorological Agency said. Dramatic footage of the massive eruption was streamed live, with volcanic ash visibly filling a large area. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, but local authorities have pushed up the danger level to three out of five. The 1,592-meter (5,222-feet) Mount Aso is located on Japan’s southernmost main island, Kyushu, and is considered a popular hiking destination for tourists. It is also the second largest mountain in Japan and is one of the biggest calderas in the world, encompassing an area 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) north to south and 18 kilometers (11.2 miles) east to west. Officials said that around 30 people were parked near the peak when the volcano erupted, but that they had been evacuated. Overall, about 100 tourists were transported to safety. There had been no indication that an eruption was coming, according to meteorologists. A second eruption has not been ruled out, according to Sadayuki Kitagawa, senior coordinator for volcanic affairs at Japan’s Meteorological Agency. Kitagawa told people to be careful of falling rocks due to a “possibility of volcanic rocks landing in an area over a 1-kilometer radius.”

Headline: Palestinians launch new confrontation tactic of “localized” terror against Israel

Three dates have emerged as the landmarks of a new outbreak of armed Palestinian violence against Israel: On Aug. 30, an army-police squad, on a routine operation for rounding up terrorist suspects, was waylaid in the Jenin refugee camp on the West Bank by fierce gangs armed with rocks, iron bars and firebombs. Then, on Sept. 13, an Israeli car was stoned in Jerusalem, killing the driver Alexander Levlovitch, 64. He was driving home on New Year’s Eve. Palestinian rocks against Israeli cars are part of the regular landscape on roads in and outside Jerusalem, but this time it ended in murder. The next day, the 14^th, gangs of rampaging Palestinian youths fought Israeli police guards on Temple Mount for control of the Al Aqsa Mosque doors with rocks, blocks of concrete and iron bars, which had been hoarded inside the mosque. debkafile’s counterterrorism analysts diagnose these and allied events as the opening shots of a Palestinian uprising against Israel under a different guise. Security forces are beginning to talk about “armed localized terror.” Its most prominent features are the collaboration for ad hoc operations betwen two or more Palestinian rival groups, and their localized nature. They tend to be planned in advance for a specific arnea. The collaborators in the Jenin outbreak were Hamas and Islamic Jihad. For the New Year attacks, Fatah (whose leader is Mahmoud Abbas) and Hamas joined hands.

Israeli police clashed with Palestinian protesters Tuesday in a third straight day of unrest at Jerusalem’s most sensitive holy site. Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said police entered the Al Aqsa mosque compound early Tuesday morning to disperse a group of protesters who had holed up inside the mosque overnight. The protesters threw rocks, fireworks, concrete blocks and a firebomb at officers, she said, adding that two Palestinians were arrested and five police officers were lightly injured. She said that a firebomb thrown from within the mosque at police ignited planks of wood stockpiled by the protesters. Mosque officials later extinguished the fire, she said. Police released photos showing piles of charred rubble outside the mosque. Police later managed to restore calm and open the site for visitors, Samri said, but a group of protesters remained inside the mosque. Following is a summary of the Tuesday overnight attacks:

Just before midnight, Palestinian Arabs firebombed a vehicle near the Jewish community of Itamar in Samaria.
At around the same time, dozens of Arabs were rioting in Judea near the Tomb of the Biblical Matriarch Rachel. One of the rioters was shot by IDF soldiers when he threw an IED (improvised explosive device) at the soldiers who were deployed at the site.
About a half hour after midnight, Arab terrorists launched a rocket from Gaza at southern Israel, but the projectile fell short, and instead exploded in Gaza territory.
The rocket landed in the area of Deir al-Balah, according to the Hebrew-language HaKol HaYehudi website.

Headline: Top Islamist Declares Religious War

Sheikh Kamal Hatib, Deputy Chairman of the Northern Wing of the Islamic Movement in Israel, declared that a war between “Palestinians” and Israel over the Temple Mount is set to begin, in a weekend interview with Lebanese television station Al Mayadeen Tuesday. “The Israeli establishment under the leadership of a right-wing government believes that this is the time for building the Temple and opening a religious war in which Israel cannot win,” he told the network, which is close to Hezbollah. Speaking from his home in the Lower Galilee town of Kafr Kana, Hatib accused Israel of exploiting the difficult predicament of the Arab world, the division within Palestinian society and the security cooperation with the Palestinian Authority (PA), in order to “attack Al Aqsa” for the third day running. He called for the PA’s security cooperation with Israel to stop, and asked Arab states to pressure the PA to let the Palestinians go out and protest for “the holy mosque.” Indeed, he said, Muslims all over the world should do the same.

Headline: Palestinians invite hundreds of leaders to flag raising ceremony at UN in New York

The Palestinian Authority invited hundreds of world leaders to celebrate the raising of its flag for the first time at the United Nations headquarter in New York on September 30th.
“It will be a glorious day, a proud day for us. We expect hundreds of leaders to be with [PA] President [Mahmoud] Abbas to celebrate that moment,” PLO Ambassador to the UN Riyad Mansour told reporters in New York on Tuesday. On that same day, Mansour said, millions of Palestinians everywhere will fly the flag as an informal referendum in support of an independent Palestine and against Israel’s continued “occupation” of the West Bank. “There will be hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of Palestinian flags raised in every house, every school,  every institution,” Mansour said and added that they would be even flown atop cars. He spoke just days after the UN General Assembly voted 119 to 8, with 45 abstentions to allow its two non-member states — Palestine and the Holy See — to fly their flags in front of UN buildings along with those of member states. Israel’s outgoing Ambassador to the UN in New York Ron Prosor made his final speech to the General Assembly against raising the Palestinian flag prior to the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the resumption of direct negotiations. “Make no mistake; the goal of this resolution is a photo op. The Palestinians want to bring together world dignitaries and the media to gather around and watch as Mahmoud Abbas raises a flag. They plan to use the prestige of the UN as a backdrop for this charade,” Prosor said. “No vote can turn an empty symbolic gesture into a state,” Prosor said.

Headline: Netanyahu, Putin to discuss continued Israeli air force freedom of action over Syria

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed Wednesday, Sept. 16,  that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu would pay a “short working visit and hold talks with President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Monday, Sept. 21.” The announcement from the Prime Minister’s Bureau in Jerusalem was somewhat more informative: “The Prime Minister will express his views on the threat to Israel as a result of the deliveries of modern weaponry to Syria due to the possibility that they could end up in the hands of Hizballah or other terrorist organizations.” If that is to be the sole topic of their talks, debkafile’s military and intelligence sources doubt the prime minister will accomplish anything much, outside of a polite exchange of views. Putin will not remove the Russian troops and advanced weaponry which giant Antonov-24 Condors have been landing in Syria since the last week of August. These deliveries have been planned down to the last detail in coordination with Tehran – as Moscow’s rejoinder for US President Barack Obama’s cherished nuclear deal with Iran. Tehran has not only refrained from endorsing the accord, but has joined Moscow in a move to outmaneuver Washington in the Middle East by a major military buildup in Syria. Putin will no doubt parrot Obama in assuring Netanyahu of Russia’s abiding commitment to Israel’s security. But he will not waver in his steps for strengthening Iran’s foothold in Syria, any more than Obama has. Another issue which may come up in their talks in six days’ time is Israel’s Mediterranean gas field, in which the Russian leader has expressed an interest.  Since the projected Israel-Turkish pipeline for exporting the gas to Europe will verge on the economic water zones of Lebanon and Syria, Russia is the only power realistically capable or providing it with military protection.

Headline: ‘It’s a matter of time until ISIS in Sinai attempts terror attack against Israel’

It is only a matter of time before Islamic State’s affiliate in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula attempts to carry out a terror attack against Israel, Col. Yehuda Hacohen, the commander of the IDF’s Sagi Battalion which operates on the border said in an interview with Army Radio on Wednesday. The organization formerly known as Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis pledged allegiance to Islamic State last year, changing its name to the Sinai Province. It has waged a war against Egyptian security forces in the Sinai Peninsula, which, according to Hacohen, has contributed to its decision not to attack Israel. “Their decision not to launch terror attacks against Israel is a rational decision…they are focusing today on fighting against Egypt. They are in a state of constant friction with the Egyptian forces. They prefer not to open up another front, certainly not a front with Israel. They know that the price they would have to pay there would be heavy,” Hacohen said. The IDF commander, however, does not envision the quiet on the border being maintained. “In the end it must be remembered, this organization was formed by terrorists that dream of a terror attack against Israel, and it will come. It’s clear that there will be a terror attack against Israel, I believe that it will happen during my tenure,” he warned.

Headline: Dozens arrested in Beirut clashes

Dozens of activists held a protest on Tuesday outside a Finance Ministry building in Lebanon’s capital, after failing to storm it — part of a recent series of anti-government rallies stemming from a trash collection crisis. The protesters attempted to enter the building early on Tuesday, as employees were arriving. But the security forces quickly prevented them, closing the doors to the protesters and other staffers arriving. The protesters chanted against corruption in state institutions. They said they are taking their protests to the Finance Ministry, asking that it stop paying salaries for lawmakers who have been unable to convene. The protesters complain the parliament, elected in 2009, is illegitimate. Members of parliament have illegally extended their term twice and the legislature remains deadlocked over an election law and choosing a president. Lebanon has been without a president for over a year.

Headline: General Security claims ISIS infiltrated Beirut protests

A Lebanese security agency has issued a highly unusual statement implying that ISIS had infiltrated grassroots #YouStink protests in Downtown Beirut in a bid to sow strife. General Security announced Tuesday that it had arrested two Lebanese men—identified only by their initials Kh.Sh. and Aa.A—for being members of an ISIS cell aiming to “carry out bombings and prepare IEDs to target Lebanese army and security force centers and vehicles.” However, in an strange turn, the statement went on to claim that the cell “assigned infiltrators to join the latest civil society demonstrations in Downtown Beirut.” General Security added that infiltrators were tasked to “curse officials and write offensive and obscene phrases on the tomb of [former PM] Rafiq Hariri with the aim of spreading sectarian strife.”

Trapped inside, residents and rebels face certain death, Abu Adi, a citizen journalist from the Ahrar Zabadani media network in nearby Madaya, tells Ammar Hamou.

The fates of the Zabadani rebels and the opposition’s military leaders in the area are one and the same: death. There are only two other options: either a miracle from God or the breaking of the siege from outside Zabadani, which I think is unlikely since everyone has betrayed us. As for the civilians in Zabadani, they fled to nearby Madaya and are being subjected to regime bombardment there. We have asked the groups active on the Qalamoun front and Zahran Alloush, the commander of Jaish al-Islam, to mobilize since the beginning of the offensive [but our calls] fell on deaf ears. Zabadani is now completely cut off from surrounding areas; there is no exit or tunnel. If there were still tunnels like this, our position would be completely different.

Syria Headline:    Kremlin calls on U.S. for talks on resolving Syria

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that dialogue between Moscow and Washington on solving the Syria crisis was indispensable. Peskov made the comments when asked whether talks on Syria were possible between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Barack Obama. However, Putin also said on Tuesday that it’s impossible to defeat the extremists from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group without cooperating with the Syrian government. Speaking on Tuesday at a meeting of a Moscow-dominated security alliance of ex-Soviet nations in Tajikistan, Putin said that Moscow has provided military assistance to President Bashar Assad’s government and will continue to do so.
He shrugged off allegations that Moscow’s support for Assad has sparked a flow of refugees, saying in a televised statement that without Russia’s support for Assad’s regime the number of Syrian refugees heading to Europe would have even bigger.

Syria Headline:  ISIS advance pushes France to begin Syria airstrikes: defense minister

ISIS fighters have made considerable progress near the contested northern Syrian city of Aleppo and are threatening to rout core elements of Western-backed Syrian rebel forces there, France’s defense minister said Wednesday. The Islamist militant group launched an offensive in northern Aleppo province last month, in a blow to the rebels in an area where the United States and Turkey are planning to open a new front against the movement. Jean-Yves Le Drian told France Inter radio that one of the reasons why Paris had decided to join airstrikes in Syria over the coming weeks was because ISIS was expanding rapidly. “What is certain is that things have changed drastically. For several months Daesh (ISIS) has considerably extended its presence on Syrian territory,” he said. “It’s true in Aleppo, but also on the Homs-Damascus line. Today Daesh has progressed in a way that it is threatening the Syrian resistance in Aleppo region, but also Lebanon if it manages to break through the Damascus-Homs axis.” France until now had only taken part in airstrikes against ISIS in neighboring Iraq.

Syria Headline:  Syrian rebels shot down warplane, advance against pro-Assad forces in Aleppo

Syrian rebels shot down a warplane for the pro-Assad air force near the Nairab military airport in Aleppo province in northern Syria, military sources reported on Tuesday. The Nairab airport has been under a siege by rebel factions for more than a year. Rebel fighters of al-Shamiya Front dropped an M6 warplane for the Syrian air force after taking off from Nairab military airport on Tuesday afternoon. This comes amid continues clashes between forces loyal to the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and rebel groups in Aleppo city and its countryside. Speaking to ARA News, spokesman of al-Shamiya Front Mustafa Sulaiman said their forces made new gains in the war-torn city. “Our forces seized control of major parts of Hamdaniyah district after fierce clashes with pro-Assad militias,” Sulaiman said. At least fifteen regime soldiers were killed in the clashes, the source reported. “The Front also bombed pro-Assad security headquarters in Salahaddin neighborhood.” The regime forces responded with dropping more than six barrel bombs on the rebel-held neighborhoods of Dahiya and Shekhan in Aleppo. More than ten civilians were reported dead.

Iraq Headline:   ISIS blocking flow of Euphrates from Syria

Government-controlled areas of Iraq’s Anbar province are threatened by water shortages. ISIS has been blocking the flow of the Euphrates River from Syria in a renewed bid to turn the vital waterway into a strategic weapon against the Iraqi government. “ISIS closed the Tabqa Dam in Syria almost a week ago, causing the water level of the Euphrates River to drop in Anbar’s towns,” a member of the Anbar Provincial Council said Sunday. Hamid al-Dulaimi warned in an interview with Iraqi Kurdish Bas News that the closure poses a “disaster to Anbar and other provinces” in Iraq. Meanwhile, a source close to ISIS told Al-Jazeera that the group was using its control over the dams to “put pressure on the Iraqi government as part of the open war between it and the group.” As concerns rose in Iraq, one official called on the international coalition fighting ISIS to conduct air strikes against the dam, although any such move would threaten water storage and raise the potential of devastating downstream floods. “We call on the international coalition forces to strike one of the gates of the Tabqa Dam in Syria to allow water to flow into Iraq,” Anbar Provincial Council member Eid Ammash said in a statement carried by Iraqi broadcaster Sumaria News on September 5.

Kurdish Headline:  US confirms special forces on ground in Syria aiding Kurds

US special operations forces are on the ground in Syria assisting Kurdish forces fighting the Islamic State, the head of the US military’s Central Command reportedly told a Senate committee on Wednesday. General Lloyd Austin revealed to the Senate Armed Services Committee that US Special Operations Forces are “engaged with YPG” Kurdish forces in the war-torn country, NBC reported. Austin said that the special operations team was there to “advise and assist” and that they were “not engaged in any combat operations”. Kurdish fighters in the People’s Protection Units (YPG) in northern Syria have been at the forefront of the fight against IS and now autonomously control a vast swathe of territory captured from the group and Syrian government. The news is likely to complicate relations with US ally Turkey, who is currently engaged in a conflict with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), who are ideologically and strategically aligned with the YPG in Syria. Though US President Barack Obama has previously pledged there would be no “boots on the ground” in Syria, US forces have carried out a number of targetted operations in the country.

Thirteen Turkish soldiers were wounded when their convoy was hit by a roadside bomb explosion in the largely Kurdish eastern province of Mus, security sources said on Tuesday. Two police officers were also wounded in the attack during the afternoon in Hakkari province on the road to Van province, near the border with Iran, they said. On Tuesday night, three officers were killed and a fourth was seriously injured in an attack on a police vehicle travelling in the town of Nusaybin, near the Syrian border, a senior security official told AFP. Headline:   Vatican Welcomes Iran Deal, Pressures Israel to Give Up Nukes

The Vatican released a statement Tuesday officially welcoming the nuclear agreement between the P5+1 world powers (U.S., UK, China, France, Russia, Germany) and Iran, stating that the Holy See believes Tehran will reduce its nuclear capabilities in exchange for sanctions relief. In calling for a Middle East free of nuclear weapons, the Vatican also appeared to target Israel, given that it is the lone nuclear power in the region. The Vatican “values positively this agreement because it considers that the way to resolve disputes and difficulties should always be that of dialogue and negotiation,” Archbishop Paul Gallagher said in a statement. In addressing the 59th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Vatican’s chief diplomat added: It is clear that the agreement requires further efforts and commitment by all the parties involved in order for it to bear fruit. We hope that the full implementation of [the nuclear deal] will ensure the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program under the [Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty] and will be a definitive step toward greater stability and security in the region.

A car bombing has targeted the office of a district governor on the outskirts of the Afghan capital, killing at least four people. The incident occurred on Wednesday after the attacker rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into the building located in the Paghman district, west of Kabul. The fatalities included the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief for the district, reported the website for the Afghan news channel TOLO news, citing the city’s police. The police also said that about 40 other people were wounded in the assault. Kabul police spokesman, Ebadullah Karimi said the number of casualties was expected to go higher. Meanwhile, Russia may redeploy military troops to Tajikistan’s border with Afghanistan in response to the deteriorating security situation

The ISIL militant group on Monday called on residents of Libya’s coastal city of Sirte – which it captured in January – to pledge their allegiance to the group and “repent for their sins” before the end of this month. ISIL seized control of Sirte in January following the withdrawal of forces dispatched by Libya’s Tripoli-based government to secure the city. In a message broadcast on a local radio station, Hassan al-Karami, a local ISIL leader in Sirte, said that a “religious court” would be established in the city in early October tasked with trying perceived offenders. According to the broadcast, the group plans to punish anyone found to have worked for the regime of former strongman Muammar Qaddafi – who was ousted and killed in 2011 – or who took part in the so-called “Revolutionaries’ Brigades”.

The measures come as a set of new laws took effect to stop the huge flow of migrants through the country.Despite the laws, hundreds of refugees spent Monday night in tents or out in the open on the Serbian side of the border. Figures showed that a record 7,437 people entered Hungary from Serbia on Monday, beating the previous day’s highest of 5,809.

Government spokesman Rajeh Badi said Bahah, who is also vice president, was accompanied by seven ministers when he arrived in Aden, which loyalist fighters backed by Saudi-led troops recaptured from Iranian-allied Houthi forces in July. “Khaled Bahah and the ministers who arrived with him are in Aden to stay permanently,” Badi said. Bahah’s return from Saudi Arabia follows that of several other Yemeni ministers who relocated to Aden from the kingdom in the weeks after the city was retaken in July. Bahah made a brief visit to Aden on Aug. 1. President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi fled Aden for the Saudi capital Riyadh in March as Houthi forces closed in. Since its recapture, loyalist forces supported by Saudi-led coalition air strikes have pushed northwards and driven back the Houthis. Gulf Arab ground forces and loyalists are now waging an offensive westwards through Marib province towards Sanaa in a campaign to eventually oust the Houthis from the capital, which the movement seized in September 2014.

Providing lethal weapons to the Ukrainian army is one of the most sensitive issues for Western governments, Russia having warned this would mark a serious escalation of the conflict and pose a threat to its security. But Ukraine’s acting ambassador to NATO, Yehor Bozhok, said there may be no alternative. “If heavy weapons are withdrawn on our eastern border under the Minsk deal, then fine. But if the situation escalates, then we will again raise the issue of sophisticated defensive weaponry with our western partners,” Bozhok told Reuters in an interview. “We are not going to attack anybody, but we would like to protect ourselves,” he said, listing anti-artillery, anti-mortar and anti-tank weapons as those most needed and saying the request “had already been on the table for some time”.

North Korea says its main nuclear facility, the Yongbyon complex, has resumed normal operations. The country was improving its nuclear weapons “in quality and quantity”, state-run news agency KCNA reported. Yongbyon’s reactor was shut down in 2007 but Pyongyang vowed to restart it in 2013, following its third nuclear test and amid high regional tensions. The reactor has been the source of plutonium for North Korea’s nuclear weapons programme. Experts believe that if re-started, the reactor could make one bomb’s worth of plutonium per year. The announcement about Yongbyon is the first official confirmation from North Korea that it has restarted operations there. A US think-tank said earlier this year that satellite images suggested that work had started at the plant. KCNA said on Tuesday that the North was ready to face US hostility with “nuclear weapons any time”. However, the full scope of North Korea’s nuclear capabilities is unclear. Pyongyang claims it has made a device small enough to fit a nuclear warhead on to a missile, which it could launch at its enemies.

Headline: Bubonic plague case confirmed in Michigan

A Michigan resident has contracted the rare, life-threatening bubonic plague — the first documented case in Michigan’s public health history, state officials confirmed. The Marquette County adult is recovering after apparently contracting the flea-borne illness during a trip to Colorado. Officials are reassuring the public there is no cause for alarm, despite the disease’s connection to the microorganism that caused the Black Death plague in Europe in the 1300s, killing millions and reshaping history. “It’s same organism but, in this case, the infection resides in a lymph node,” said Dr. Terry Frankovich, medical director for the Marquette County Health Department. The bubonic plague, in fact, is notably marked by one or more swollen, tender and painful lymph nodes, usually in the groin, armpit or neck. The plague is rare, with an average of seven human cases reported across the U.S. each year, according to the CDC. However, the western U.S. is experiencing an increase in reported cases of plague in 2015, with 14 human cases, including four deaths reported. The reason for the increase is not known.

Headline: Delhi battles dengue fever surge

The Indian capital, Delhi, is in the grip of the worst outbreak of dengue fever in five years, officials say. More than 1,800 cases have been recorded in recent weeks, compared to 1,695 cases for all of 2010. Five deaths have been reported so far. The mosquito that carries the dengue virus breeds in containers with clear, stagnant water. Dengue cases usually jump during and just after the rainy season, which normally lasts from June to September. Hospitals and clinics across the city have been inundated with patients, putting a strain on emergency services. News channels are showing patients sharing beds and scores of people queuing up at clinics for free fever tests. The government in Delhi has ordered 1,000 extra bed in hospitals to treat dengue patients after the suicide of a couple whose seven-year-old son died from the tropical illness after being allegedly refused treatment at a number of city hospitals. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has also ordered the setting up of “fever clinics” at hospitals to deal with the rush of patients.

Flash floods killed 12 people near Utah’s border with Arizona when a “large wall of water and debris” triggered by heavy rain pounding nearby canyons swept them away in their cars, officials said on Tuesday. In Zion National Park to the north, three people died and four were missing after going to explore canyons, officials said. “Another tragedy for our state. Reeling right now,” Utah Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox said on Twitter. In the small city of Hildale, Utah, hundreds of volunteers were helping search for one person still missing, Washington County officials said, after floodwaters swept through streets. “It was an act from God,” Hildale Mayor Phillip Barlow told reporters of Monday’s tragedy, according to the Deseret News. “This is something we can’t control. … It happened too fast.” Crews have worked since Monday evening monitoring flood crossings and searching the banks of Short Creek amid sporadic rain showers. Contractors using heavy equipment have worked to clear thousands of tons of mud and debris, and the National Guard has been called in to help with the cleanup.

However, even more important than that he is changing the hearts and minds of many people as a result of what they have been reading at my site.  I am a blessed man to have been chosen to lead many people to Jesus over these many years and, I was blessed beyond measure when the Lord lead Amy Nehme to assist me in my work.  She has been my right arm in the ministry and a strong pillar for Jesus Christ.   Part of my ministry deals with my warnings of what to watch for based on my knowledge of the word of God. I was instructed by our Lord not to water down the message I was given to give you. Since I never charge anyone for any thing, I have never been in the position of pressure from anyone to say things which may run counter with God’s teaching. 

For years I have been warning you that you are going to see the sea life die off as we are in the birth pains Jesus warned us about in Mark 13:8.   I have given you the prophecy concerning the fish, birds, and animals dying off in mass numbers and if you have been coming to my site you have witnessed how the Lord’s words are coming to pass!  Almost every day now I post all the reports concerning the birds, fish, or animals dying off in mass numbers. I usually will make a video on these reports but as I am on a special project right now I haven’t been able to make the videos

Today I read a report that should open everyone’s eyes to the warning God gave us concerning our seas.  Here is the headline I want you to see. “Marine population halved since 1970 – report“.  Headline: I quote,  “Populations of marine mammals, birds, fish and reptiles have declined by 49% since 1970, a report says. The study says some species people rely on for food are faring even worse, noting a 74% drop in the populations of tuna and mackerel. In addition to human activity such as overfishing, the report also says climate change is having an impact. For those of you who have been coming to my site you should recall I have warned you that you would see some “great earthquakes” bigger than the ones we have seen.  I warned you about this because Jesus laid it on my heart that many do know believe in His words but, when they begin to see all these things many would begin searching and Jesus would be there to receive them.  This morning the news about a 8.3 quake has been reported and I can assure you more of these huge quakes are on the way. When they hit all I can say is turn to Jesus and give Him praise for the warnings He has given us in His word concerning these end time signs. The anticipated Arab attacks near the Temple Mount at the end of Friday prayers did not disappoint, as Arab rioters hurled rocks at police forces at the Damascus Gate of Jerusalem’s Old City. At the gate, located on the eastern end of the northern wall of the Old City, one Arab assailant was arrested in the act. Police forces used non-lethal riot dispersal methods to break up the rioters, in a clash that was foreseen by police who beefed up their numbers to 5,000 officers in the capital for Friday and deployed surveillance blimps. At nearly the same time as the clash on Friday, the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee decided following a special morning meeting to take a rare move, and permit the IDF to call up reserve Border Patrol officers to secure Jerusalem. Committee Chairman MK Tzahi Hanegbi (Likud) said “Border Patrol fighters have rich and successful experience dealing with hostile and violent activities. Placing Border Patrol units in the capital will help restore order quickly.” The clash on Friday comes after Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas called Wednesday for violence at the Temple Mount against Jews, saying, “the Al-Aqsa (Mosque on the Mount – ed.) is ours…and they (Jews) have no right to defile it with their filthy feet.” In his comments Abbas lauded “martyrs” spilling blood in Jerusalem to prevent Jews from their holiest site, making his call for violence clear.

Headline: Hamas Calls for ‘Revolution’ against Palestinian Authority

The Hamas terror movement’s incitement against Israel continues to escalate, in what appears to be a crusade for another wave of terrorism and a new intifada. Simultaneously, the group, which controls Gaza, is maintaining its intensive campaign to delegitimize the rule of the Palestinian Authority in areas of Judea and Samaria. Khalil al-Haya, a Hamas leader, spoke at a rally in Gaza on Tuesday, asserting that his movement is ready to fight for the Al-Aqsa Mosque against “Israeli occupation.” Al-Haya blasted the Palestinian Authority and ordered Palestinian people to rise up and overthrow it, as well as continue attacks against Israel to protect the mosque atop the Temple Mount. “The time has come for the West Bank to rise up and oppose authority, particularly those who who coordinate security with Israel (i.e. the PA),” al-Haya charged. “It’s time for this government to be thrown into the trash dump of history.” Expressing Arabs’ willingness to spill blood for Al-Aqsa, al-Haya argued “we have a right to be angry and rise up and set fire to the ground under invaders…we say your occupation of Jerusalem won’t last long.”

Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas has promised to “drop a bombshell” at the end of his upcoming speech before the United Nations, according to a tweet on Wednesday night. Abbas will not, however, “reveal the nature of this bombshell,” journalist Khaled Abu Toameh’s tweet added. Senior PA official Nabil Shaath claimed earlier this week that Abbas would use his speech before the UN General Assembly in late September to nullify some fundamental clauses of the Oslo Accords. “Israel implements only [clauses of the Oslo Accords] which serve her and her interests. So we, too, will act similarly,” Shaath told Palestinian news agency Ma’an. “Abbas will state things clearly – after 22 years, we have not achieved anything out of the Oslo Accords.” Reports surfaced last week that Abbas was planning to do away entirely with the 1993 agreement, and will officially announce the move at the UN General Assembly later this month. PA official Ahmed Majdalani was quoted by Palestinian media as saying that Abbas will tell the UN that since Israel did not comply with the Oslo Accords and did not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state, the PA is no longer committed to the agreements.

Iceland’s capital Reykjavík passed a resolution Tuesday stating the municipality will boycott all products made in Israel, a move blasted in Israel as a “volcano of hate.” Iceland Magazine reported on its web site that the measure was put forward by Björk Vilhelmsdóttir, a councilwoman with the Social Democratic Alliance, who is retiring from politics.
According to the report, the motion states that the city of Reykjavík will boycott Israeli goods “as long as the occupation of Palestinian territories continues.” Among the cities that Reykjavík has a “twin cities” agreement with are Moscow and Caracas. Reykjavík is a popular tourist attraction, and home to some 122,000 people. The measure makes no distinction between products made inside pre-1967 Israel or beyond the Green Line. Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon responded to the move by saying that “a volcano of hate exploded in the building of the Reykjavík municipality.”

Headline: UN Security Council: Keep Jewish Prayer Ban on Temple Mount

The UN Security Council appealed for calm and restraint Thursday after three days of clashes this week at Jerusalem’s Temple Mount  between Israeli police and Arab mobs. In a unanimous declaration, the 15-member panel also expressed its “grave concern” and called for maintaining the rules governing the sensitive site, which is Judaism’s holiest. “The members of the Security Council called for the exercise of restraint, refraining from provocative actions and rhetoric, and upholding unchanged the historic status quo” at the compound “in word and in practice,” a statement said. The site has been under the iron grip of the Jordanian Waqf Muslim Authority since being liberated in 1967. Under longstanding regulations, Jews are allowed to visit but cannot pray there to avoid “provoking tensions” with Muslims. Palestinian Arabs are reportedly deeply suspicious that Israel will seek to change rules governing the site, although Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said he has no intention of doing so. Netanyahu assured UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon late Thursday that his country was determined to strictly apply the status quo.

A coalition of Lebanese civil activists groups have called for a mass march Sunday to demand Interior Minister Nohad Machnouk’s resignation after security forces beat and arrested dozens of protesters earlier in the week. “We call for a mass rally on Sunday at 5 p.m. beginning from the Beirut River Bridge in Bourj Hammoud and ending at [Downtown Beirut’s] Nejmeh Square,” a committee bringing together the #YouStink, We Want Accountability and other movements announced Thursday. “What the movement must do is to rise to the level of the open battle that the authorities have launched against us,” spokesperson Nidal Ayoub—who was arrested during Wednesday’s protest—declared. The grassroots movements announced that they are now demanding the dismissal of the interior minister as well as Environment Minister Mohammad Machnouk. A senior Egyptian officer was shot dead by Islamic terrorists on Wednesday in the Sinai Peninsula, with the Egyptian branch of ISIS claiming responsibility for the attack. General Khaled Kamal Osman was inspecting members of a police unit in the provincial capital of El-Arish when the gunmen opened fire from a passing car, Egypt’s Interior Ministry said. Meanwhile, The Egyptian military has begun flooding tunnels used by Palestinian militants and smugglers under the border with Gaza, reports say. It is the latest move by Egypt to destroy the tunnels, part of an offensive against insurgents. Excavators have been digging there for weeks to turn the area into what authorities say will be fish farms. Egypt has destroyed thousands of homes and evicted families from the border, where it is creating a buffer zone. Hundreds of tunnels were operating until Egypt began to eliminate them in recent years, but some remain functional and others have been rebuilt.

Syrian warplanes unleashed a wave of deadly airstrikes on the militant-held town of Palmyra in central Syria on Friday, killing at least 15 and wounding many more, activists said, in some of the heaviest bombardment since the extremist group seized the ancient town May 10. The Palmyra airstrikes come a day after the Syrian army carried out heavy air raids in the northern city of Raqqa, also held by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria  group (ISIS). A local activist who spoke on condition of anonymity for security reasons reported at least 30 air raids on Palmyra Friday. A local media collective called the strikes a “massacre” and said 15 people were killed and more than 120 wounded. It said Palmyra’s only hospital was suffering severe shortages in staff and equipment, and some of the wounded had to be taken to Raqqa, more than 200 kilometers (125 miles) away. It did not say if those killed were civilians or ISIS fighters. However the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a number of ISIS militants were among those killed.

Syria Headline:    4 car bombs, 250 mortar rounds rock Syrian Shiite towns

The jihadi groups on Friday detonated four booby-trapped vehicles and fired over 250 mortar shells into two predominantly-Shiite towns in northern Syria, a monitor group reported. “Violent explosions” were heard rocking the towns of Foa and Kafraya in the northwestern province of Idlib, as part of a fresh wave of attacks the jihadi rebel groups recently unleashed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said it had no immediate death toll or losses assessment of Friday’s attacks. It said the Syrian air force carried out airstrikes against the rebel positions in Binnish, a town in Idlib, which has largely fallen to the rebels, except the two Shiite towns and some points in its countryside. Halting the rebel attacks on Kafraya and Foa was negotiated between rebel delegations and Iran in recent weeks, but the negotiations failed to settle the situation in the towns as the rebels set demands that couldn’t be met by the government forces.

Iraq Headline:   Deadly suicide attacks target Iraqi police

Iraq Headline: 24 dead, 121 wounded, the final outcome of 2 suicide bombings in Baghdad

Iraq officials have said that two suicide attacks on Thursday targeting police in commercial areas in Baghdad have killed 14 people. Police say both attacks on Thursday morning were carried out by bombers on foot, wearing explosives-laden vests. One bomber struck in Baghdad’s Bab al-Sharji area, killing eight civilians and a police officer there. Twenty-one were wounded in that explosion. The second bomber hit in al-Wathba Square, killing five people, including two policemen, and wounding 12. Two medical officials confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to reporters. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks hours later. In a statement posted online, the extremist group said two attackers wearing explosive vests had targeted police.

Kurdish Headline:  Kurdish Islamic Leader Meets Hamas Chief in Turkey

At the fifth convention of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Turkey, Kurdistan Islamic Group (Komal) leader Ali Bapir met with the Palestinian Islamic organisation Hamas in Ankara. Headline: Turkish warplanes bomb PKK targets in Kurdistan’s Dohuk province

Turkish warplanes bombed bases of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Kurdistan Region’s Dohuk province on Friday, a Rudaw reporter on the scene said. The attacks targeted the group’s facilities in the villages of Avle and Pirble, close to the city of Zarka, some 50 kilometers north of Dohuk city. The air raid took place at 16:20 local time. No reports of casualties were immediately available. Turkey has carried out near-daily air or artillery attacks on PKK targets in the Kurdistan Region and in its own Kurdish southeast. Fighting between Turkish and PKK forces resumed following a July 20 bombing in the Turkish-Syrian border town of Suruc in which 32 people were killed and 104 wounded. The PKK later took responsibility for killing two policemen, and Turkey responded with air raids and artillery attacks.

Yesterday was the deadline for Congress to vote on the Iran Nuclear Deal. Many were hoping that the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 (Corker-Cardin) would stop it. Obama has failed to comply with the crystal-clear conditions spelled out in the Corker law. This is indisputable. “Side deals” that the statute explicitly requires to be disclosed to Congress — involving, for example, IAEA inspection terms and Iran’s prior nuclear work — have been withheld. As you can see from the headlines below, ‘side deals’ are not the only thing not being revealed. Under the terms of the Iranian Nuclear Agreement Review Act (Corker-Cardin), Sept. 17 was the final day on which Congress could stop the deal from moving forward by passing a disapproval resolution. The Obama administration will likely be permitted to enforce this aspect of Corker-Cardin despite its own failure to comply with another substantive requirement, although why that should be so is a question that needs to be addressed. U.S. Senate Democrats blocked legislation meant to kill the Iran nuclear deal for a third time Thursday, by a vote of 56-42, the Republican-majority Senate fell short of the 60 votes needed. The Obama administration appointed Stephen Mull as “lead coordinator for Iran nuclear implementation.” Mull, who has served as ambassador to Poland and in other top diplomatic posts, takes on the “crucial” responsibility of shepherding an agreement “which will make the United States, our friends and allies in the Middle East, and the entire world safer,” Secretary of State John Kerry said. These events come 5 days after Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei released a video in which he warned of an American defeat in any war with Iran. They also come after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell offered an amendment to the deal that would require Iran to recognize Israel’s right to exist and to release American hostages from captivity. Only one Senate Democrat voted in favor of the Protect Israel and Free Our Prisoners amendment. The formal adoption of the Iran nuclear deal will be Oct. 18

Taliban fighters are encroaching on Kajaki district in Helmand, threatening a prestige aid project built to power southern Afghanistan and holding huge symbolic importance for the international coalition. Local officials say foreign engineers working at the hydroelectric power Kajaki dam, including a number of Britons, have been evacuated to Kandahar, as Taliban have captured at least one police precinct from government forces. Headline: ISIS claims attack on Tripoli airport, 3 killed

Militants attacked Tripoli’s airport on Friday and killed three security personnel, a Libyan official said, in an assault claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria jihadist group (ISIS).
“An armed group carried out an attack this morning on the prison located on the Mitiga air base, to try to free the detainees,” the airport security official said. “First there was an explosion… and then a clash with automatic weapons,” he said, adding that at least eight attackers died. An AFP journalist who was at the airport heard a blast followed by gunfire. ISIS later claimed the attack on Twitter. Flights were unaffected by the incident at what is the only airport still functioning in the militia-held city. Mitiga is a military airfield used for civilian traffic after Tripoli’s international airport was seriously damaged last year in fighting for control of the capital.

Tunisia, in which the “Arab Spring” riots began several years ago, has been presented as an example of the success of the democratic experiment in spite of the rise of Islamist movements, primarily the Ennahda party which is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and which won the first elections in the country only to be forced to step down later. While in office, Ennahda party never hid its intentions to apply Sharia Islamic law in Tunisia, identified with the “Palestinian issue” and expressed full support for the destruction of Israel. Following the ongoing terror wave in Jerusalem this week, the deputy leader of Ennahda, Mohamed Akrout, called on Arab leaders to support the “Palestinian struggle” in all its forms, including using armed forces, to resist the continued Israeli “aggression” against the Palestinian people and the Muslim holy sites, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Akrut, who is a member of the global coalition in support of Jerusalem and Palestine, said in an interview with Hamas’s Falastin magazine that the Arab leaders need to pressure international organizations to support the Palestinian struggle, including the armed one, and not to describe it as “terrorism”. He added that an armed struggle against Israel is not a crime because it is part of a struggle to free the land and the holy places which are under “occupation”.

Croatia has closed seven of its eight road border crossings with Serbia following a huge influx of migrants. Officials said they had no choice after more than 13,000 people entered the country since Hungary fenced off its border with Serbia earlier this week. Many have been taken by bus to reception centres but some say they plan to walk to neighbouring Slovenia. Huge numbers of people heading north from the Mediterranean have created a political crisis in the European Union. Croatian officials said roads leading to the border crossings had also been shut. In other developments:

• A migrant thought to be Syrian is electrocuted at the entrance to the Eurotunnel in Calais
• Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban says Hungary has started building a fence along part of its border with Croatia, after media reports that migrants were crossing it
• German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier says EU members reluctant to accept migrant quotas might have to be overruled with a majority vote at a summit on 23 September

Burkina’s military seized the airwaves and installed a general loyal to the ex-president Thursday as the new head of state, carrying out a coup weeks before national elections. The developments capped a dramatic year in this West African country where President Blaise Compaore was ousted in a popular uprising last October after he tried to prolong his 27-year rule. That paved the way for the formation of a transitional government, but soldiers arrested the interim president and prime minister late Wednesday and announced hours later that they had been removed from office. The political unrest sparked violence in the streets, and the presidential guard opened fire with live ammunition to disperse crowds protesting the coup, witnesses said late Wednesday. Associated Press journalists saw the bodies of at least six victims at a morgue in the capital of Ouagadougou on Thursday. Members of the presidential guard wandered about the city in pickups and on motorcycles seeking to disperse any gatherings late Thursday. Burkina Faso’s land and air borders were closed and a 7 p.m.-to-6 a.m. curfew was imposed. The coup — the country’s sixth since it won independence from France in 1960 — unfolded overnight with stunning speed. Late Wednesday, the country’s interim president and prime minister were arrested at the presidency during a ministerial meeting.

A blast claimed by the Somali militant group al-Shabaab killed at least three soldiers who were waiting to collect their salaries at a military camp in the port city of Kismayu on Thursday, police and the group said. “So far, three officers who were handing out salaries have died and 10 others collecting it are wounded. The bomb was planted inside the camp,” Police Major Abdirahman Nur said. Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, al-Shabaab’s military operation spokesman, said the group was behind the attack. Meanwhile, The Islamist militant group al-Shabab overran two Somali army bases on Friday and killed at least seven soldiers, both the group and the military said, a day after the group retook a southern town. The raids on the bases in the town of Yaqbariweyne in the Lower Shabelle region and the retaking of Janale town after African forces quit are the latest gains in an offensive by the group that has helped them seize several towns this month. The government has dismissed al-Shabab’s gains, saying the areas retaken have no strategic value. But the offensive has shown the group can keep up pressure on the Western-backed government. “We took the two Yaqbariweyne military bases in a fierce fighting this morning,” Al-Shabab’s military operations spokesman, Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, told Reuters. Thirteen soldiers were killed, he said.  Osman Abdullahi, a military officer, told Reuters seven soldiers were killed and five others wounded.

Taliban militants have killed at least 29 people in an attack on an air force base in the northern city of Peshawar, Pakistani officials say. The gunmen, dressed in police uniforms, stormed the Badaber air base on Friday morning, Maj Gen Asim Bajwa said. At least 16 of the victims were killed during morning prayers at a mosque inside the compound, Gen Bajwa added. The Pakistani Taliban said they ordered the attack. Peshawar has frequently been targeted by militants. Gen Bajwa said the militants entered the base, which is 10km (6 miles) south of Peshawar, at two points and then split into groups. A rapid response force was dispatched to the scene and contained the attackers around a guard room, he added. Thirteen militants were said to have been killed by security forces, although the Taliban said just one of their fighters died. The total number of gunmen involved is unclear, but Gen Bajwa said his forces were hunting for the remaining attackers. The exchange of fire also left 29 people injured, the Pakistani military said. Gen Bajwa claimed that mobile phone intercepts suggested that the attackers had come from inside Afghanistan, though he said there was no reason to blame the Kabul government. The attack on Badaber air base is the first on a military target since a Pakistan navy ship was attacked in Karachi’s dockyard in September last year. It is the bloodiest since last December’s massacre of 150 pupils and teachers at Peshawar’s Army Public School.

Headline:Shelling from Yemen kills 3 in Saudi border region

Shelling from across the border in Yemen killed three people in Saudi Arabia Friday and wounded 28, the civil defense agency said. The agency described the deceased as residents of the Saudi border district of Jazan, while Saudi news channel Al-Ekhbaria said they were foreigners. The civil defense added that four Saudis were among the wounded, without giving the nationalities of the others. Al-Ekhbaria showed pictures of blast-damaged cars and shrapnel-punctured walls. The attack brings to at least 64 the number of people killed in Saudi Arabia from border shelling and skirmishes since a Saudi-led coalition began a campaign against Iran-backed Huthi rebels in Yemen six months ago. Most of the border casualties have been soldiers.

Secretary of State John Kerry said Wednesday it may take more than sanctions to end North Korea’s nuclear weapons threat because its isolation from the global marketplace makes U.S. economic pressure less effective than it was on Iran. The American goal in North Korea remains the same, Kerry insisted: A peaceful solution that leads to nuclear disarmament. But he also warned of increasingly “severe consequences” against Pyongyang a day after it declared that it has upgraded and restarted all of its atomic fuel plants — meaning it could potentially make more sophisticated nuclear weapons. The North also said this week it was ready for more rocket launches whenever it sees fit, and there is wide speculation it could conduct a launch or hold another test of a nuclear weapons to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the founding of its ruling party. The date is Oct. 10.

Headline: Nigeria Central Bank Urges “Don’t Panic” As Banks Halt Lending To Each Other

When the head of the central bank utters the two words “don’t panic” you know the economy, currency, and financial system is in trouble…and that’s just what Nigerian central bank Governor Godwin Emefiele just did. Following government intervention to sweep cash from local to central accounts, banks have panicced. As Reuters reports, overnight interbank lending rates spiked to 200%, which Emefiele opined was “a momentary action… just sentiment,” but the interbank naira market was paralyzed for a third day on Thursday, with banks unwilling to lend to each other, even when rates fell back to 20-30%. As Reuters reports, Nigerian central bank Governor Godwin Emefiele ruled out a naira devaluation on Thursday and told people not to panic about a government order which risks draining billions of dollars from the financial system. Since taking office in May, Buhari has vowed to rein in Nigeria’s dependency on oil exports which account for 90 percent of foreign currency earnings. However, he has faced criticism from investors for failing to appoint a cabinet yet or outline concrete policies. Amid confusion over the implementation of the single account policy, overnight interbank lending rates spiked to 200 percent, but Emefiele denied the policy had provoked a liquidity crisis.

Short-term lending rates, used as proxies for market expectations for the Fed’s next move, shifted dramatically. December’s fed funds futures contract rose to drop its yield to 21.5 basis points, implying only about a 42 percent chance of a rate increase by the end of the year. “Investors are wrestling with how concerned they should be regarding global growth,” said Jeremy Zirin, chief equity strategist at UBS Wealth Management. The Federal Reserve’s decision today to keep interest rates unchanged may mean consumers can make some decisions while rates remain near zero. Mark Zandi, chief economist with Moody’s, said he expects the Fed to begin raising rates before the year is over. “However, the longer they wait to begin normalizing rates, the greater the risk they will be forced to play catch up and raise rates more aggressively in the future,” Zandi said. “It is much better for the economy long-run to normalize rates in a slow and orderly way.”

Headline: ‘Super-gonorrhoea’ outbreak in Leeds

Highly drug-resistant gonorrhoea is spreading in the north of England with an outbreak centred in Leeds, sexual health doctors have told the BBC. One of the main treatments has become useless against the new strain of the sexually transmitted infection. Twelve cases have been confirmed in Leeds and a further four have been reported in Macclesfield, Oldham and Scunthorpe. However, there are likely to be more undiagnosed cases. The strain in this outbreak is able to shrug off the antibiotic azithromycin, which is normally used alongside another drug, ceftriaxone. Peter Greenhouse, a consultant in sexual health based in Bristol, told the BBC News website: “This azithromycin highly resistant outbreak is the first one that has triggered a national alert. “It doesn’t sound like an awful lot of people, but the implication is there’s a lot more of this strain out there and we need to stamp it out as quickly as possible. “If this becomes the predominant strain in the UK we’re in big trouble, so we have to be really meticulous in making sure each of these individuals has all their contacts traced and treated.” The outbreak started in March.

Headline: Scorching Year Continues With the Hottest Summer on Record

Last month was the hottest August on record, topping out the hottest summer on record, according to data released on Thursday by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It was the sixth month this year to set a new record: February, March, May, June, July, and August. This has been the hottest start to a year on record and the hottest 12 months on record. It follows the hottest calendar year (2014), and the hottest decade. In 136 years of global temperature data, we are in uncharted territory. And this year’s extremes are likely to continue as a strong El Niño weather pattern in the Pacific Ocean continues to rip more heat into the atmosphere. There’s now a 97 percent chance that 2015 will set yet another record, according to NOAA. The animation below shows the earth’s warming climate, recorded in monthly measurements from land and sea dating back to 1880. Temperatures are displayed in degrees above or below the 20th century average. Thirteen of the 14 hottest years have come in the 21st century, and 2015 is on track to raise the bar again.

Yesterday I showed you all the news from the past week dealing with the Temple Mount which is the home of the soon to come  Third Jewish Temple. Today there was more news surrounding this holy site for the Jews and the Muslims. The Palestinians will do what ever it takes to make sure Jews will never again rebuild a Jewish Temple at the Mount but, at the end of the day a Third Temple will stand on the Mount.  Don’t think this is good news for the Jews because it is not!  All this means is that the Jews are still rebelling against the real Jewish King Jesus Christ.  You see rebuilding a Third Temple means that the Jews will then begin their animal sacrifices.  Of course these Jewish sacrifices will mean nothing and will be an offence to God as Jesus came the first time to put an end to these types of sacrifices. Read Hebrews 9:28. “so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”  

Everything that is currently taking place between the Jews and Muslims concerning the Temple Mount area is leading to one thing and that is to fulfill prophecy concerning Jesus second coming and having both the Jews and the world come to realize that Jesus Christ was and still is the King of the Jews and of all people.  Those of you who do not like this message will be fighting against the King of Kings and this is not a position you want to take!  Keep in mind, before Jesus comes the Antichrist will come and he will have a great deal to do with the rebuilding of the Third Temple. So, the news you are reading pointing to the Temple Mount is news showing you time is drawing near for the rise of the Antichrist.  

You may have read news about Christians giving money to the Jews to help them in their goal to rebuild their Temple.  I can not for the life of me understand how any real Christian would want to support any quest in helping the rise of the Antichrist and helping the Jews reestablish animal sacrifices.  Do you understand what these so called Christians are doing?  They are helping promote a doctrine that is Satanic. Anyone who would support animal sacrifices is saying Jesus’ death was not good enough for the taking away of sins.  If. you have a pastor in your church or know of any pastor who is calling themselves Christian and is supporting the rebuilding of this Third Temple get as far away from them as you can and do it quickly!   If you are a real follower of Jesus Christ you can not and would not take away what Jesus Christ did for us all on that cross!

Israel steps up Jerusalem security after Palestinian clashes
Israel has deployed hundreds of extra police to Jerusalem after days of clashes between Palestinian protesters and security forces. Much of the tension has focused on the al-Aqsa mosque compound, a hugely important site in Islam and Judaism. Talk about truth, you have already read our Lord’s warnings are coming to pass and, it is about time people are beginning to take notice that there are in fact a large number of birds, fish, or animals dying off.  Jesus as you now know from this post warned of the last days birth pains and not only is the Temple Mount in the heart of these birth pains but so is the prophecy concerning the mass deaths of the food we eat such as in the report about the pigs today.  Many of you just found my prophecy site and, you may have missed this telling report that was issued in January of this year entitled: “​Mass animal deaths on the rise worldwide“.  If you missed it I suggest you take a moment and read it because it is proof of what Jesus warned is being reported in the news.

Their analyses, published this week in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, revealed that not only are these events becoming more frequent, they’re also increasing in magnitude, with the number of fatalities higher for birds, fish and marine invertebrates. The anticipated Arab attacks near the Temple Mount at the end of Friday prayers did not disappoint, as Arab rioters hurled rocks at police forces at the Damascus Gate of Jerusalem’s Old City. At the gate, located on the eastern end of the northern wall of the Old City, one Arab assailant was arrested in the act. Police forces used non-lethal riot dispersal methods to break up the rioters, in a clash that was foreseen by police who beefed up their numbers to 5,000 officers in the capital for Friday and deployed surveillance blimps. At nearly the same time as the clash on Friday, the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee decided following a special morning meeting to take a rare move, and permit the IDF to call up reserve Border Patrol officers to secure Jerusalem. Committee Chairman MK Tzahi Hanegbi (Likud) said “Border Patrol fighters have rich and successful experience dealing with hostile and violent activities. Placing Border Patrol units in the capital will help restore order quickly.” The clash on Friday comes after Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas called Wednesday for violence at the Temple Mount against Jews, saying, “the Al-Aqsa (Mosque on the Mount – ed.) is ours…and they (Jews) have no right to defile it with their filthy feet.” In his comments Abbas lauded “martyrs” spilling blood in Jerusalem to prevent Jews from their holiest site, making his call for violence clear.

Headline: Hamas Calls for ‘Revolution’ against Palestinian Authority

The Hamas terror movement’s incitement against Israel continues to escalate, in what appears to be a crusade for another wave of terrorism and a new intifada. Simultaneously, the group, which controls Gaza, is maintaining its intensive campaign to delegitimize the rule of the Palestinian Authority in areas of Judea and Samaria. Khalil al-Haya, a Hamas leader, spoke at a rally in Gaza on Tuesday, asserting that his movement is ready to fight for the Al-Aqsa Mosque against “Israeli occupation.” Al-Haya blasted the Palestinian Authority and ordered Palestinian people to rise up and overthrow it, as well as continue attacks against Israel to protect the mosque atop the Temple Mount. “The time has come for the West Bank to rise up and oppose authority, particularly those who who coordinate security with Israel (i.e. the PA),” al-Haya charged. “It’s time for this government to be thrown into the trash dump of history.” Expressing Arabs’ willingness to spill blood for Al-Aqsa, al-Haya argued “we have a right to be angry and rise up and set fire to the ground under invaders…we say your occupation of Jerusalem won’t last long.”

Headline: Abbas to ‘Drop a Bombshell’ at End of UN Speech

Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas has promised to “drop a bombshell” at the end of his upcoming speech before the United Nations, according to a tweet on Wednesday night. Abbas will not, however, “reveal the nature of this bombshell,” journalist Khaled Abu Toameh’s tweet added. Senior PA official Nabil Shaath claimed earlier this week that Abbas would use his speech before the UN General Assembly in late September to nullify some fundamental clauses of the Oslo Accords. “Israel implements only [clauses of the Oslo Accords] which serve her and her interests. So we, too, will act similarly,” Shaath told Palestinian news agency Ma’an. “Abbas will state things clearly – after 22 years, we have not achieved anything out of the Oslo Accords.” Reports surfaced last week that Abbas was planning to do away entirely with the 1993 agreement, and will officially announce the move at the UN General Assembly later this month. PA official Ahmed Majdalani was quoted by Palestinian media as saying that Abbas will tell the UN that since Israel did not comply with the Oslo Accords and did not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state, the PA is no longer committed to the agreements.

Headline: Iceland’s capital votes to boycott all Israeli products

Headline: EU Jewish Congress Could Sue Iceland Capital over Israel Boycott

Iceland’s capital Reykjavík passed a resolution Tuesday stating the municipality will boycott all products made in Israel, a move blasted in Israel as a “volcano of hate.” Iceland Magazine reported on its web site that the measure was put forward by Björk Vilhelmsdóttir, a councilwoman with the Social Democratic Alliance, who is retiring from politics.
According to the report, the motion states that the city of Reykjavík will boycott Israeli goods “as long as the occupation of Palestinian territories continues.” Among the cities that Reykjavík has a “twin cities” agreement with are Moscow and Caracas. Reykjavík is a popular tourist attraction, and home to some 122,000 people. The measure makes no distinction between products made inside pre-1967 Israel or beyond the Green Line. Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon responded to the move by saying that “a volcano of hate exploded in the building of the Reykjavík municipality.”

Headline: UN Security Council: Keep Jewish Prayer Ban on Temple Mount

The UN Security Council appealed for calm and restraint Thursday after three days of clashes this week at Jerusalem’s Temple Mount  between Israeli police and Arab mobs. In a unanimous declaration, the 15-member panel also expressed its “grave concern” and called for maintaining the rules governing the sensitive site, which is Judaism’s holiest. “The members of the Security Council called for the exercise of restraint, refraining from provocative actions and rhetoric, and upholding unchanged the historic status quo” at the compound “in word and in practice,” a statement said. The site has been under the iron grip of the Jordanian Waqf Muslim Authority since being liberated in 1967. Under longstanding regulations, Jews are allowed to visit but cannot pray there to avoid “provoking tensions” with Muslims. Palestinian Arabs are reportedly deeply suspicious that Israel will seek to change rules governing the site, although Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said he has no intention of doing so. Netanyahu assured UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon late Thursday that his country was determined to strictly apply the status quo.

Headline:  Lebanon activists plan mass march

A coalition of Lebanese civil activists groups have called for a mass march Sunday to demand Interior Minister Nohad Machnouk’s resignation after security forces beat and arrested dozens of protesters earlier in the week. “We call for a mass rally on Sunday at 5 p.m. beginning from the Beirut River Bridge in Bourj Hammoud and ending at [Downtown Beirut’s] Nejmeh Square,” a committee bringing together the #YouStink, We Want Accountability and other movements announced Thursday. “What the movement must do is to rise to the level of the open battle that the authorities have launched against us,” spokesperson Nidal Ayoub—who was arrested during Wednesday’s protest—declared. The grassroots movements announced that they are now demanding the dismissal of the interior minister as well as Environment Minister Mohammad Machnouk. They also said that they had put together an immediate environmental emergency plan to deal with Lebanon’s worsening trash crisis.

Headline: Egyptian general assassinated by terrorists in Sinai

Headline: Egypt ‘starts flooding Gaza tunnels’

A senior Egyptian officer was shot dead by Islamic terrorists on Wednesday in the Sinai Peninsula, with the Egyptian branch of ISIS claiming responsibility for the attack. General Khaled Kamal Osman was inspecting members of a police unit in the provincial capital of El-Arish when the gunmen opened fire from a passing car, Egypt’s Interior Ministry said. Meanwhile, The Egyptian military has begun flooding tunnels used by Palestinian militants and smugglers under the border with Gaza, reports say. It is the latest move by Egypt to destroy the tunnels, part of an offensive against insurgents. Excavators have been digging there for weeks to turn the area into what authorities say will be fish farms. Egypt has destroyed thousands of homes and evicted families from the border, where it is creating a buffer zone. Hundreds of tunnels were operating until Egypt began to eliminate them in recent years, but some remain functional and others have been rebuilt.

Syria Headline:     Syrian warplanes attack ISIS-held Palmyra

Syrian warplanes unleashed a wave of deadly airstrikes on the militant-held town of Palmyra in central Syria on Friday, killing at least 15 and wounding many more, activists said, in some of the heaviest bombardment since the extremist group seized the ancient town May 10. The Palmyra airstrikes come a day after the Syrian army carried out heavy air raids in the northern city of Raqqa, also held by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria  group (ISIS). A local activist who spoke on condition of anonymity for security reasons reported at least 30 air raids on Palmyra Friday. A local media collective called the strikes a “massacre” and said 15 people were killed and more than 120 wounded. It said Palmyra’s only hospital was suffering severe shortages in staff and equipment, and some of the wounded had to be taken to Raqqa, more than 200 kilometers (125 miles) away. It did not say if those killed were civilians or ISIS fighters. However the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a number of ISIS militants were among those killed.

Syria Headline:    4 car bombs, 250 mortar rounds rock Syrian Shiite towns

The jihadi groups on Friday detonated four booby-trapped vehicles and fired over 250 mortar shells into two predominantly-Shiite towns in northern Syria, a monitor group reported. “Violent explosions” were heard rocking the towns of Foa and Kafraya in the northwestern province of Idlib, as part of a fresh wave of attacks the jihadi rebel groups recently unleashed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said it had no immediate death toll or losses assessment of Friday’s attacks. It said the Syrian air force carried out airstrikes against the rebel positions in Binnish, a town in Idlib, which has largely fallen to the rebels, except the two Shiite towns and some points in its countryside. Halting the rebel attacks on Kafraya and Foa was negotiated between rebel delegations and Iran in recent weeks, but the negotiations failed to settle the situation in the towns as the rebels set demands that couldn’t be met by the government forces.

At least 20 civilians were killed and 15 wounded in renewed barrel bomb attacks by forces loyal to the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the southern province of Daraa, local sources said on Thursday. “Syrian regime helicopters dropped more than five barrel bombs on the town of Busra al-Sham in Daraa countryside on Thursday evening, killing 20 civilians and injuring more than 15 others,” civil rights activist Ahmed Hammam told ARA News. “The victims included three children and five women,” the source added. “This is only an initial death toll, as activists are still searching for victims under the rabble of the bombed buildings,” said Hammam. The ancient Syrian town of Busra al-Sham has been under the control of anti-Assad rebel forces since March.

Syria Headline:  Forecasting the Syrian Civil War

The trajectory of the Syrian Civil War may fundamentally shift within the 90 day timeframe. Russia escalated its military assistance on behalf of the Syrian regime in early September 2015, deploying armored vehicles and hundreds of personnel to the Syrian Coast in preparation for the establishment of at least one forward air operations base. Rebel factions led by Syrian al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al- Nusra (JN) continue to pressure the regime’s stronghold along the Alawite Coast following a several-month campaign to expel regime forces from Idlib Province. Turkey and the U.S.-led anti-ISIS coalition intend to establish an “ISIS-free” zone in northern Syria along the Turkish border with the assistance of moderate rebel forces. There a number of ways that the actors driving conditions on the ground could respond to these events or generate new conditions. The interplay between these developments and their courses of action could create numerous different outcomes in Syria over the next 12 weeks. A number of these divergent pathways could generate negative effects that intensify the conflict, spread regional disorder, and threaten U.S. interests in Syria.

Iraq Headline:   Deadly suicide attacks target Iraqi police

Iraq Headline: 24 dead, 121 wounded, the final outcome of 2 suicide bombings in Baghdad

Iraq officials have said that two suicide attacks on Thursday targeting police in commercial areas in Baghdad have killed 14 people. Police say both attacks on Thursday morning were carried out by bombers on foot, wearing explosives-laden vests. One bomber struck in Baghdad’s Bab al-Sharji area, killing eight civilians and a police officer there. Twenty-one were wounded in that explosion. The second bomber hit in al-Wathba Square, killing five people, including two policemen, and wounding 12. Two medical officials confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to reporters. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks hours later. In a statement posted online, the extremist group said two attackers wearing explosive vests had targeted police.

Kurdish Headline:  Kurdish Islamic Leader Meets Hamas Chief in Turkey

At the fifth convention of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Turkey, Kurdistan Islamic Group (Komal) leader Ali Bapir met with the Palestinian Islamic organisation Hamas in Ankara. A source told BasNews that Komal officials met with Khaled Mashal, head of Hamas’s political bureau and Hamas deputy leader Musa Abu-Marzuq Musa Abu Marzuq, reiterating their support for Palestinians and Hamas. The source revealed that a number of Komal politburo members were not pleased by the decision to attend the event.“They are also concerned about the inclusion of Qasim Mustafa, who has no official position in the party, in the Komal delegation,” said the source. Komal senior official Muhammad Hakim told BasNews that the meeting was only to introduce the Komal and Hamas officials. However, Komal officials declined to reveal any details about the meeting with the Palestinian Islamic organisation.

Headline: Turkish warplanes bomb PKK targets in Kurdistan’s Dohuk province

Turkish warplanes bombed bases of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Kurdistan Region’s Dohuk province on Friday, a Rudaw reporter on the scene said. The attacks targeted the group’s facilities in the villages of Avle and Pirble, close to the city of Zarka, some 50 kilometers north of Dohuk city. The air raid took place at 16:20 local time. No reports of casualties were immediately available. Turkey has carried out near-daily air or artillery attacks on PKK targets in the Kurdistan Region and in its own Kurdish southeast. Fighting between Turkish and PKK forces resumed following a July 20 bombing in the Turkish-Syrian border town of Suruc in which 32 people were killed and 104 wounded. The PKK later took responsibility for killing two policemen, and Turkey responded with air raids and artillery attacks.

Yesterday was the deadline for Congress to vote on the Iran Nuclear Deal. Many were hoping that the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 (Corker-Cardin) would stop it. Obama has failed to comply with the crystal-clear conditions spelled out in the Corker law. This is indisputable. “Side deals” that the statute explicitly requires to be disclosed to Congress — involving, for example, IAEA inspection terms and Iran’s prior nuclear work — have been withheld. As you can see from the headlines below, ‘side deals’ are not the only thing not being revealed. Under the terms of the Iranian Nuclear Agreement Review Act (Corker-Cardin), Sept. 17 was the final day on which Congress could stop the deal from moving forward by passing a disapproval resolution. The Obama administration will likely be permitted to enforce this aspect of Corker-Cardin despite its own failure to comply with another substantive requirement, although why that should be so is a question that needs to be addressed. U.S. Senate Democrats blocked legislation meant to kill the Iran nuclear deal for a third time Thursday, by a vote of 56-42, the Republican-majority Senate fell short of the 60 votes needed. The Obama administration appointed Stephen Mull as “lead coordinator for Iran nuclear implementation.” Mull, who has served as ambassador to Poland and in other top diplomatic posts, takes on the “crucial” responsibility of shepherding an agreement “which will make the United States, our friends and allies in the Middle East, and the entire world safer,” Secretary of State John Kerry said. These events come 5 days after Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei released a video in which he warned of an American defeat in any war with Iran. They also come after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell offered an amendment to the deal that would require Iran to recognize Israel’s right to exist and to release American hostages from captivity. Only one Senate Democrat voted in favor of the Protect Israel and Free Our Prisoners amendment. The formal adoption of the Iran nuclear deal will be Oct. 18

Taliban fighters are encroaching on Kajaki district in Helmand, threatening a prestige aid project built to power southern Afghanistan and holding huge symbolic importance for the international coalition. Local officials say foreign engineers working at the hydroelectric power Kajaki dam, including a number of Britons, have been evacuated to Kandahar, as Taliban have captured at least one police precinct from government forces. The US military conducted three airstrikes in Kajaki on 15 and 16 September, “to eliminate threats to the force”, according to Col Brian Tribus, spokesman for the international forces in Afghanistan. He said Nato personnel were operating out of the Bastion and Leatherneck complex to “train, advise and assist” the Afghan troops.

Headline: ISIS claims attack on Tripoli airport, 3 killed

Militants attacked Tripoli’s airport on Friday and killed three security personnel, a Libyan official said, in an assault claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria jihadist group (ISIS).
“An armed group carried out an attack this morning on the prison located on the Mitiga air base, to try to free the detainees,” the airport security official said. “First there was an explosion… and then a clash with automatic weapons,” he said, adding that at least eight attackers died. An AFP journalist who was at the airport heard a blast followed by gunfire. ISIS later claimed the attack on Twitter. Flights were unaffected by the incident at what is the only airport still functioning in the militia-held city. Mitiga is a military airfield used for civilian traffic after Tripoli’s international airport was seriously damaged last year in fighting for control of the capital.

Headline:   Tunisia security members sacked over suspected extremist links

Tunisia, in which the “Arab Spring” riots began several years ago, has been presented as an example of the success of the democratic experiment in spite of the rise of Islamist movements, primarily the Ennahda party which is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and which won the first elections in the country only to be forced to step down later. While in office, Ennahda party never hid its intentions to apply Sharia Islamic law in Tunisia, identified with the “Palestinian issue” and expressed full support for the destruction of Israel. Following the ongoing terror wave in Jerusalem this week, the deputy leader of Ennahda, Mohamed Akrout, called on Arab leaders to support the “Palestinian struggle” in all its forms, including using armed forces, to resist the continued Israeli “aggression” against the Palestinian people and the Muslim holy sites, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Akrut, who is a member of the global coalition in support of Jerusalem and Palestine, said in an interview with Hamas’s Falastin magazine that the Arab leaders need to pressure international organizations to support the Palestinian struggle, including the armed one, and not to describe it as “terrorism”. He added that an armed struggle against Israel is not a crime because it is part of a struggle to free the land and the holy places which are under “occupation”.

Huge numbers of people heading north from the Mediterranean have created a political crisis in the European Union. Croatian officials said roads leading to the border crossings had also been shut. That paved the way for the formation of a transitional government, but soldiers arrested the interim president and prime minister late Wednesday and announced hours later that they had been removed from office. The political unrest sparked violence in the streets, and the presidential guard opened fire with live ammunition to disperse crowds protesting the coup, witnesses said late Wednesday. Associated Press journalists saw the bodies of at least six victims at a morgue in the capital of Ouagadougou on Thursday. Members of the presidential guard wandered about the city in pickups and on motorcycles seeking to disperse any gatherings late Thursday. Burkina Faso’s land and air borders were closed and a 7 p.m.-to-6 a.m. curfew was imposed. The coup — the country’s sixth since it won independence from France in 1960 — unfolded overnight with stunning speed. Late Wednesday, the country’s interim president and prime minister were arrested at the presidency during a ministerial meeting.

A blast claimed by the Somali militant group al-Shabaab killed at least three soldiers who were waiting to collect their salaries at a military camp in the port city of Kismayu on Thursday, police and the group said. “So far, three officers who were handing out salaries have died and 10 others collecting it are wounded. The bomb was planted inside the camp,” Police Major Abdirahman Nur said. Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, al-Shabaab’s military operation spokesman, said the group was behind the attack. Meanwhile, The Islamist militant group al-Shabab overran two Somali army bases on Friday and killed at least seven soldiers, both the group and the military said, a day after the group retook a southern town. The raids on the bases in the town of Yaqbariweyne in the Lower Shabelle region and the retaking of Janale town after African forces quit are the latest gains in an offensive by the group that has helped them seize several towns this month. The government has dismissed al-Shabab’s gains, saying the areas retaken have no strategic value. But the offensive has shown the group can keep up pressure on the Western-backed government. “We took the two Yaqbariweyne military bases in a fierce fighting this morning,” Al-Shabab’s military operations spokesman, Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, told Reuters. Thirteen soldiers were killed, he said.  Osman Abdullahi, a military officer, told Reuters seven soldiers were killed and five others wounded.

Taliban militants have killed at least 29 people in an attack on an air force base in the northern city of Peshawar, Pakistani officials say. The gunmen, dressed in police uniforms, stormed the Badaber air base on Friday morning, Maj Gen Asim Bajwa said. At least 16 of the victims were killed during morning prayers at a mosque inside the compound, Gen Bajwa added. The Pakistani Taliban said they ordered the attack. Peshawar has frequently been targeted by militants. Gen Bajwa said the militants entered the base, which is 10km (6 miles) south of Peshawar, at two points and then split into groups. A rapid response force was dispatched to the scene and contained the attackers around a guard room, he added. Thirteen militants were said to have been killed by security forces, although the Taliban said just one of their fighters died. The total number of gunmen involved is unclear, but Gen Bajwa said his forces were hunting for the remaining attackers. The exchange of fire also left 29 people injured, the Pakistani military said. Gen Bajwa claimed that mobile phone intercepts suggested that the attackers had come from inside Afghanistan, though he said there was no reason to blame the Kabul government. The attack on Badaber air base is the first on a military target since a Pakistan navy ship was attacked in Karachi’s dockyard in September last year. It is the bloodiest since last December’s massacre of 150 pupils and teachers at Peshawar’s Army Public School.

Shelling from across the border in Yemen killed three people in Saudi Arabia Friday and wounded 28, the civil defense agency said. The agency described the deceased as residents of the Saudi border district of Jazan, while Saudi news channel Al-Ekhbaria said they were foreigners. The civil defense added that four Saudis were among the wounded, without giving the nationalities of the others. Al-Ekhbaria showed pictures of blast-damaged cars and shrapnel-punctured walls. The attack brings to at least 64 the number of people killed in Saudi Arabia from border shelling and skirmishes since a Saudi-led coalition began a campaign against Iran-backed Huthi rebels in Yemen six months ago. Most of the border casualties have been soldiers.

Secretary of State John Kerry said Wednesday it may take more than sanctions to end North Korea’s nuclear weapons threat because its isolation from the global marketplace makes U.S. economic pressure less effective than it was on Iran. The American goal in North Korea remains the same, Kerry insisted: A peaceful solution that leads to nuclear disarmament. But he also warned of increasingly “severe consequences” against Pyongyang a day after it declared that it has upgraded and restarted all of its atomic fuel plants — meaning it could potentially make more sophisticated nuclear weapons. The North also said this week it was ready for more rocket launches whenever it sees fit, and there is wide speculation it could conduct a launch or hold another test of a nuclear weapons to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the founding of its ruling party. When the head of the central bank utters the two words “don’t panic” you know the economy, currency, and financial system is in trouble…and that’s just what Nigerian central bank Governor Godwin Emefiele just did. Following government intervention to sweep cash from local to central accounts, banks have panicced. As Reuters reports, overnight interbank lending rates spiked to 200%, which Emefiele opined was “a momentary action… just sentiment,” but the interbank naira market was paralyzed for a third day on Thursday, with banks unwilling to lend to each other, even when rates fell back to 20-30%. As Reuters reports, Nigerian central bank Governor Godwin Emefiele ruled out a naira devaluation on Thursday and told people not to panic about a government order which risks draining billions of dollars from the financial system. Since taking office in May, Buhari has vowed to rein in Nigeria’s dependency on oil exports which account for 90 percent of foreign currency earnings. However, he has faced criticism from investors for failing to appoint a cabinet yet or outline concrete policies. Amid confusion over the implementation of the single account policy, overnight interbank lending rates spiked to 200 percent, but Emefiele denied the policy had provoked a liquidity crisis.

Bucking that trend to advance were stocks and currencies in emerging markets, which are more vulnerable to higher U.S. interest rates and welcomed the Fed’s Thursday decision to postpone “lift-off” on rate hikes for at least another month. Short-term lending rates, used as proxies for market expectations for the Fed’s next move, shifted dramatically. December’s fed funds futures contract rose to drop its yield to 21.5 basis points, implying only about a 42 percent chance of a rate increase by the end of the year. “Investors are wrestling with how concerned they should be regarding global growth,” said Jeremy Zirin, chief equity strategist at UBS Wealth Management. The Federal Reserve’s decision today to keep interest rates unchanged may mean consumers can make some decisions while rates remain near zero. Mark Zandi, chief economist with Moody’s, said he expects the Fed to begin raising rates before the year is over. “However, the longer they wait to begin normalizing rates, the greater the risk they will be forced to play catch up and raise rates more aggressively in the future,” Zandi said. “It is much better for the economy long-run to normalize rates in a slow and orderly way.”

Headline: ‘Super-gonorrhoea’ outbreak in Leeds

Highly drug-resistant gonorrhoea is spreading in the north of England with an outbreak centred in Leeds, sexual health doctors have told the BBC. One of the main treatments has become useless against the new strain of the sexually transmitted infection. Twelve cases have been confirmed in Leeds and a further four have been reported in Macclesfield, Oldham and Scunthorpe. However, there are likely to be more undiagnosed cases. The strain in this outbreak is able to shrug off the antibiotic azithromycin, which is normally used alongside another drug, ceftriaxone. Peter Greenhouse, a consultant in sexual health based in Bristol, told the BBC News website: “This azithromycin highly resistant outbreak is the first one that has triggered a national alert. “It doesn’t sound like an awful lot of people, but the implication is there’s a lot more of this strain out there and we need to stamp it out as quickly as possible. “If this becomes the predominant strain in the UK we’re in big trouble, so we have to be really meticulous in making sure each of these individuals has all their contacts traced and treated.” The outbreak started in March.

Headline: Scorching Year Continues With the Hottest Summer on Record

Last month was the hottest August on record, topping out the hottest summer on record, according to data released on Thursday by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It was the sixth month this year to set a new record: February, March, May, June, July, and August. This has been the hottest start to a year on record and the hottest 12 months on record. It follows the hottest calendar year (2014), and the hottest decade. In 136 years of global temperature data, we are in uncharted territory. And this year’s extremes are likely to continue as a strong El Niño weather pattern in the Pacific Ocean continues to rip more heat into the atmosphere. There’s now a 97 percent chance that 2015 will set yet another record, according to NOAA. The animation below shows the earth’s warming climate, recorded in monthly measurements from land and sea dating back to 1880. Temperatures are displayed in degrees above or below the 20th century average. Thirteen of the 14 hottest years have come in the 21st century, and 2015 is on track to raise the bar again.

However, even more important than that he is changing the hearts and minds of many people as a result of what they have been reading at my site.  I am a blessed man to have been chosen to lead many people to Jesus over these many years and, I was blessed beyond measure when the Lord lead Amy Nehme to assist me in my work.  She has been my right arm in the ministry and a strong pillar for Jesus Christ.   Part of my ministry deals with my warnings of what to watch for based on my knowledge of the word of God. I was instructed by our Lord not to water down the message I was given to give you. Since I never charge anyone for any thing, I have never been in the position of pressure from anyone to say things which may run counter with God’s teaching. 

For years I have been warning you that you are going to see the sea life die off as we are in the birth pains Jesus warned us about in Mark 13:8.   I have given you the prophecy concerning the fish, birds, and animals dying off in mass numbers and if you have been coming to my site you have witnessed how the Lord’s words are coming to pass!  Almost every day now I post all the reports concerning the birds, fish, or animals dying off in mass numbers. I usually will make a video on these reports but as I am on a special project right now I haven’t been able to make the videos

Today I read a report that should open everyone’s eyes to the warning God gave us concerning our seas.  Here is the headline I want you to see. “Marine population halved since 1970 – report“.  Headline: I quote,  “Populations of marine mammals, birds, fish and reptiles have declined by 49% since 1970, a report says. The study says some species people rely on for food are faring even worse, noting a 74% drop in the populations of tuna and mackerel. In addition to human activity such as overfishing, the report also says climate change is having an impact. For those of you who have been coming to my site you should recall I have warned you that you would see some “great earthquakes” bigger than the ones we have seen.  I warned you about this because Jesus laid it on my heart that many do know believe in His words but, when they begin to see all these things many would begin searching and Jesus would be there to receive them.  This morning the news about a 8.3 quake has been reported and I can assure you more of these huge quakes are on the way. When they hit all I can say is turn to Jesus and give Him praise for the warnings He has given us in His word concerning these end time signs.
