Headline:  IAF struck Sudan weapons stockpile headed for Hamas

Israel recently blew up a weapons cache in Sudan that was destined for Hamas in Gaza, the London-based Arabic-language newspaper Al-Arab reported Monday. According to the report, Sudanese officials believe that Israel did carry out a recent bombardment in its territory, and have imposed a total blackout on the incident. The newspaper also reported that the bombing of a warehouse of weapons occurred just hours after Israel accused Sudan of providing long-range rockets to Hamas. A source in the Sudanese security and intelligence establishment is quoted in the report as saying that a loud explosion occurred last Friday in a weapons and equipment warehouse at a military base north of Khartoum. He said the explosion was caused by a fire at the site, and was not due to an attack by Israel Air Force jets.  A spokesman for the Sudanese army also denied that there had been deliberate attack from internal or external agents. While Al-Arab reported six casualties in the incident, the Sudanese defense establishment said that it had managed to bring under control a fire that had broken out in a warehouse, and there were no casualties. According to the Sudanese official, the warehouse contained training equipment.

Two terrorist cells infiltrated southern Israel via a tunnel from the Gaza Strip on Monday, as Israel began the 14th day of Operation Protective Edge. Casualties were reported among Israel Defense Forces troops. Roads were closed and residents ordered to remain indoors until just after 10 A.M., when the incident was declared over. Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces advanced into the Strip overnight, and clashes were reported in a number of areas. Two apparent tunnel sites were located by forces. The UN Security Council ended an emergency session late Sunday expressing “serious concern” about the rising civilian death toll and demanding an immediate end to hostilities. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, meanwhile, will be arriving in Israel later Monday.

The United Nations Security Council called for an immediate halt to fighting in the Gaza Strip at an emergency session Sunday evening, but stopped short considering a draft resolution that would have called for Israeli forces to withdraw from the territory. The draft resolution had been proposed by Jordan, which had requested the meeting of the Security Council as the Arab League’s representative on the panel. A copy of the draft resolution obtained by the Associated Press expressed also expressed “grave concern” at the high numbers of Palestinian civilians reported killed in Gaza, including children. However, the Jordanian proposal was not discussed. A press statement issued by the Security Council expressed “serious concern at the escalation of violence,” called for the protection of civilians under international humanitarian law, and said it was troubled by the growing number of casualties.

Headline:   Hamas: Cease-Fire Only If We Get Free Electricity

Among the demands Hamas has demanded that Israel fulfill in exchange for a cease-fire is the continued unlimited supply of free electricity by Israel to terrorists-run Gaza. The electricity demand was one of “ten commands” Hamas has put forth, the terror group said. Hamas owes the Israel Electric Company (IEC) hundreds of millions of shekels, part of the 1.4 billion shekel electricity bill that the Palestinian Authority owes. Neither the PA nor Gaza have paid for electricity for at least a decade. On Monday, Hamas top terrorist Ismail Haniyeh again reiterated that the terror group would fight “until the last drop of blood” in its attempts to destroy Israel. “We will continue the struggle until we liberate the land, Jerusalem, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and return the ‘refugees’ to their homes,” he said.

Headline:  Israeli envoy says soldier kidnap ‘rumors untrue’

Israel’s U.N. Ambassador Ron Prosor said on Sunday there was no kidnapped Israeli soldier, dismissing a televised announcement in the Gaza Strip from Hamas’s armed wing that it had captured an Israeli soldier during the fighting in Shejaia. “There’s no kidnapped Israeli soldier and those rumors are untrue,” Prosor told reporters at the United Nations as the Security Council held an emergency meeting on the escalating crisis between Israel and Palestinians. Hamas’ armed wing had claimed itkidnapped an Israeli soldier on Sunday. In the offensive, Hamas troops made an ambush on Israeli militants in the city’s outskirts in Eastern Gaza. The announcement of the abduction allegations of Israeli soldier Shaul Aaron soon went viral. Representative Abu Ubaida stated “we have captured a Zionist soldier and the occupation has not admitted that.” “The Israeli soldier Shaul Aaron is in the hands of the Qassam Brigades,” he added. AFP correspondents said there were celebrations in the streets of West Bank cities Ramallah and Hebron following Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades’ announcement, with Palestinians shooting guns in the air and praising Hamas.

Headline:  Lieberman urges Israelis to boycott businesses of striking Arabs

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman urged Israelis to boycott the businesses of Arab citizens who are taking part in a general strike in protest of the Israel Defense Forces operation in the Gaza Strip and the deaths of Palestinian civilians. In a Facebook post published Monday afternoon, Lieberman wrote, “I call upon everyone not to shop anymore at the stores and businesses of those among the Arab sector who are participating today in the general strike that was declared by the Higher Arab Monitoring Committee as a sign of empathy for Gaza residents and against Operation Protective Edge.” The committee explained that the troubling pictures emerging from Gaza – particularly those that came out of Shujaiyeh on Sunday – have shaken up the Israeli-Arab population, and in the face of those pictures they can’t remain indifferent. Furthermore, it said, the Ramadan atmosphere has contributed to the strike.

Headline: IDF sets up field hospital for Gazans

The Israel Defense Forces has set up a field hospital at the Erez Checkpoint on the northern border of the Gaza Strip. From today the field hospital will provide humanitarian treatment for the Palestinians living in Gaza. The hospital was set up by a government decision and with the approval of IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz and following the recommendation of the coordinator of government activities in the territories General Yoav (Poli) Mordechai. The hospital run by the IDF Medical Corps will begin operating at 8 pm this evening for Palestinians requiring treatment including women and children. The hospital will handle childbirth and staff will include doctors, nurses, technicians for x-ray equipment and laboratories and more.

Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is scheduled to speak Friday on Jerusalem Day to discuss the events in Gaza. “In light of Jerusalem Day, which was announced by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to mark the last week of Ramadan, and our insistence on the resistance path and struggle to liberate Palestine from the sea to the river, Hezbollah will hold a ceremony” in which Nasrallah will speak, the party’s office said. Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Hezbollah is backing the Palestinian “resistance” in Gaza to defeat Israel, the Shiite movement’s leader Hassan Nasrallah said on Monday. Nasrallah told Hamas’ exiled chief Khaled Meshaal by telephone: “Hezbollah and the Lebanese resistance stand firmly on the side of the Intifada and the Palestinian people’s resistance, and support Hamas’ strategy and the just conditions it has set to end the conflict.”

Headline: Unrest returns to Lebanon’s Tripoli

Clashes broke out between the Lebanese Armed Forces and an armed group in the northern city of Tripoli on Sunday morning, after a man was injured in violent overnight protests against the arrest of a militant Sunni sheikh.  The clashes took place near the Al-Ahram Cinema on central Tripoli’s Syria Street, with initial reports suggesting an unspecified number of injuries, according to Lebanon’s official National News Agency.  In the early hours of Sunday morning, a hand grenade thrown near the city’s Mankoubin junction led to the injury of a Palestinian man, identified by his initials as R.Sh.  Sh’s injury was the result of violent protests in a number of the city’s neighborhoods against the arrest of Hussam al-Sabbagh, a militant sheikh from Bab al-Tabbanah who is said to have fought in Afghanistan and Chechnya.

Headline:  Gaza unrest fuels Qatar, UAE dispute

Abu Dhabi has accused the Al-Jazeera TV channel and websites close to Qatar of “fabricating” information suggesting UAE supported Israel’s attack in Gaza, in the latest tensions between both countries. Relations between Qatar and its Gulf neighbors Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain sank to a new low in March when the three governments withdrew their ambassadors from Doha, accusing it of meddling in their affairs and supporting the Muslim Brotherhood. Islamist movement Hamas, the main power in Gaza – where two weeks of deadly violence has left more than 500 Palestinians, most of them civilians, and 18 Israeli soldiers killed – is linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. UAE State Minister for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash demanded an “official apology” from Doha-based Al-Jazeera for publishing news stating that a meeting had taken place between foreign ministers of the UAE and Israel, local media said Monday.

Headline: Syria rebels battle ISIS jihadists near Damascus

Syrian rebels battled jihadists from the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) near Damascus Monday, pressing their bid to expel them from their strongholds, an activist group said. Rebels holding positions in southern Damascus and the outskirts of the capital and seeking President Bashar Assad’s ouster, launched an offensive some three weeks ago to expel ISIS. ISIS was initially welcomed by some rebels as a potential ally in the armed revolt, but the opposition, including Islamists, has turned against it. ISIS fighters have in recent days been expelled from the towns of Mesraba and Maydaa, in the Eastern Ghouta area east of Damascus. They have also been forced out of Yalda and Beit Sahem, in the capital, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The expelled jihadists fled to Al-Hajar al-Aswad, Tadamon and Qadam in southern Damascus, “where they have a strong presence,” said Observatory director Rami Abdel-Rahman.

Headline: Fighting flares in Ukraine as crash investigators arrive

Headline: U.N. Security Council to vote Monday on Ukraine resolution

Fighting flared in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk on Monday as investigators began to inspect the bodies of victims of the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 last week. The fighting in Donetsk served as a reminder of the dangers the experts face working in a war zone. International inspectors got access to the remains of hundreds of victims stored in refrigerated railway wagons near the crash site but governments expressed concern over broader access to the rebel-held area. The government in Kiev denied sending the regular army into the center of Donetsk, which pro-Russian separatists captured in April, but said small “self-organized” pro-Ukrainian groups were fighting the rebels in the city. Three people were killed in clashes near the railway station and close to the airport outside Donetsk, health officials said. Artillery fire sent plumes of smoke skywards near the Donetsk railway station, around 60 km (40 miles) from the crash site, in what the separatists said was an attempt by government forces to enter the city they seized in April. The clashes quickly subsided.

Influenced by the Iranian regime’s predicament vis-à-vis the Sunni world due to the Iraqi and Syrian crises,[1] senior Iranian officials have assailed the Arab countries for keeping silent about the Israeli attack in Gaza. The officials argued that the Arab states were thus effectively collaborating with Israel and urged them to come to their senses and assist Hamas and the resistance. Alongside calls for Israel’s destruction by senior regime officials and their mouth pieces, Tehran backed the Hamas decision to reject the Egyptian cease-fire initiative. Hossein Al-Islam, the secretary-general of the Iranian Association for Supporting the Palestinian Intifada and an advisor to Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, defended Hamas’ refusal saying that the Egyptian proposal sought to destroy the capabilities of the resistance organizations in Gaza. He explained that the only available option was for Israeli residents to return to the countries from which they came, claiming that the Iron Dome system, along with Israel’s security concepts, had collapsed thanks to the resistance’s missile capability in Gaza. Other Iranian officials repeated the directives of Ayatollah Khomeini and his successor, Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, and claimed that Israel’s destruction was imminent.

Headline: Overnight attacks in Iraq kill at least 16 people

Attacks overnight in two Iraqi cities killed at least 16 people, officials said Monday as authorities struggle to stop the Sunni militants’ offensive that has left huge areas in northern and western Iraq outside of government control. In one of the attacks, mortar rounds rained down on Shiite neighborhoods in the town of Mahmoudiya Sunday night, killing 11 civilians and wounding 31, a police official said. The mixed Shiite- Sunni town is about 30 kilometers south of Baghdad. And in Baghdad’s western suburb of Abu Ghraib, a roadside bomb struck an army patrol, killing two soldiers and three volunteers who took up arms following the Sunni militant push across Iraq in recent weeks. Eight people were wounded in that attack, said the police official.

Headline: ISIS Jihadists seize Iraq monastery

Jihadist militants have taken over a monastery in northern Iraq, one of the country’s best-known Christian landmarks, and expelled its resident monks, a cleric and residents said Monday.  Islamic State (IS) fighters stormed Mar (Saint) Behnam, a 4th century monastery run by the Syriac Catholic church near the predominantly Christian town of Qaraqosh, on Sunday, the sources said.  “You have no place here anymore, you have to leave immediately,” a member of the Syriac clergy quoted the Sunni militants as telling the monastery’s residents.  He said the monks pleaded to be allowed to save some of the monastery’s relics but the fighters refused and ordered them to leave on foot with nothing but their clothes.  Christian residents from the area told AFP the monks walked several miles along a deserted road and were eventually picked up by Kurdish peshmerga fighters who drove them to Qaraqosh.

Headline: South Sudan truce crumbles

South Sudan rebels and government troops battled Monday over the strategic town of Nasir, the United Nations said, with rebels launching their largest offensive since an oft-broken May truce. Heavy shooting continued for a second day with fighting continuing in the northern town and rebel forces apparently in “firm control” of the center, U.N. spokesman Joe Contreras said. The United Nations warned Sunday that the fresh rebel offensive “represents the most serious resumption of hostilities” since President Salva Kiir and his former deputy, rebel leader Riek Machar, met in May promising again to stick to a January cease-fire. More than seven months of war has left thousands dead and displaced 1.5 million people, and aid agencies are warning of famine if fighting continues.

Headline: Libya: 47 killed in clashes between rival militias fighting over Tripoli airport

Libya’s Health Ministry says clashes between rival militias fighting for control of the international airport in the capital, Tripoli, have killed 47 people over the past 24 hours. The ministry said on its website late Sunday that the fighting also left 120 people wounded. It also says it hasn’t yet received all casualty reports. The weeklong battle over the airport is being waged by a powerful militia from the western city of Zintan, which controls the facility, and Islamist-led militias, including fighters from Misrata, east of Tripoli. The clashes resumed Sunday after cease-fire efforts failed. Libya is going through one of its worst spasms of violence since the 2011 ouster of longtime dictator Moammar Gadhafi. Rival militias have forced a weeklong closure of gas stations and government offices.

Headline: World stocks slide as pressure on Russia grows

World stock markets remained on the back foot Monday as tensions grew between Russia and the West over the downing of an airliner in eastern Ukraine. North Korea says its latest missile tests are a legitimate exercise in self-defense, criticizing South Korea and the United States for calling the exercises provocative. The National Defense Commission (NDC), the North’s top military body, on Monday called the charges absurd and hypocritical. “The real provocations and threats made to the Korean Peninsula are the whole gamut of political and military moves being pushed forward by the US,” an NDC spokesman said, referring to the annual joint drills by the US and South Korea. The North has conducted a series of rocket and missile tests over the past month in response to large-scale military drills South Korean and US forces conduct every year. North Korea has repeatedly renounced the exercises as “rehearsals for invasion.”

Headline: Massachusetts Sees First Case Of Deadly Triple E Virus

Although Massachusetts hasn’t been very hot or humid this summer, there are several reports that the state’s recent weather conditions have caused the arrival of a practically fatal disease. In fact, one person has been reported to be infected with the eastern equine encephalitis virus (triple E), which comes from mosquitoes. The state’s department of health said a tested was carried on July 15 in Plymouth County where the test came back positive for triple E. This virus is extremely dangerous because it causes inflammation in the brain. One-third of all cases are deadly.

Headline: West Nile virus found in Tulsa County mosquitoes

Tulsa Health Department officials say a sampling of mosquitoes from Tulsa County has tested positive for the potentially deadly West Nile virus. The department operates a mosquito surveillance program and mosquito traps are set in various locations throughout the county. Samples are collected and tested weekly for the virus and areas are sprayed in an effort to control the mosquito population. Health officials say there have been no human cases of West Nile virus in Tulsa County this year. The only confirmed case of the virus in Oklahoma thus far this year has been in Major County. There were 84 cases last year – including eight deaths.

A typhoon that barreled into northern Vietnam killed at least 11 people and left several missing, state media said Monday, while in China the death toll from the strongest storm to strike the country’s south in four decades rose to 26. Typhoon Rammasun made landfall in Vietnam over the weekend, triggering heavy floods, destroying homes and crops, and blocking roads with landslides, said the Vietnam News, an English-language daily published by the official Vietnam News Agency. The paper’s website carried photos that showed streets and local markets in the city of Lang Son and elsewhere submerged in water, with residents floating on rubber tires or rafts or huddling under makeshift tents. Rammasun had earlier battered southern China, killing 26 people and destroying tens of thousands of homes, according to China’s official Xinhua News Agency. It was the strongest typhoon to hit China’s southern region in 41 years, damaging roads and ports, cutting electricity and water supplies, and hampering rescue efforts as it swept through dozens of coastal cities.

Most people have heard of the Imaam Mahdi- the prophesied redeemer of Islam who will rule for seven, nine or nineteen years (according to differing interpretations) before the Day of Judgment

Sound familiar? You may be asking yourself why. Well, during the days of Jewish clashes with the Roman Empire, Jews fled to areas outside the control of Rome and founded many towns and villages across the Arabian Peninsula. Jews attracted significant numbers of converts to their way of life and many more admirers. One of those impressed by the Jews’ uncompromising devotion to monotheism was a young trader named Mohammed ibn Abdallah. Although his travels had exposed him to Christianity and he was clearly influenced by it, he found aspects of it troublesome ― in particular, the doctrine of the Trinity. However, there is no doubt that in the early stages of his spiritual awakening, Mohammed came to be greatly impressed by the Jews.

From the above information, it should be CLEAR that the Jewish texts came before the Qur’an. Because the young trader who was influenced was none other than Prophet Mohammed (so called by Islam). Islam did not come into being until the 500’s, the Qur’an was written in 632 & the Dome of the Rock wasn’t even built until 691. Mohammed reacted with anger when Jews refused to recognize him as the last of the prophets

Why should Christians be concerned with this information? Because the TRUE Holy Scriptures have told us through the books of Daniel and Revelation that there is coming a person whom we call the ‘antichrist’(Muslims call their antichrist “Dajjal”)

Many people believe that the Muslim Mahdi will BE this antichrist.

Although there are differences between the Sunni Mahdi and the Shia Mahdi (For Sunni Muslims, theMahdi is just a Muslim leader who will act as a Caliph, ruling the Muslim World. He is not a prophet. For Sunnis, the Mahdi must be a descendant of Prophet Mohammad. In contrast, Shia’s Imam Mahdi seems to be an evil man whom the Shia expect will persecute Sunni Muslims, resurrect and crucify Prophet Mohammad’s companions, Abu Bakr and Omar as well as Prophet Mohammad’s wife, Aisha), they are ALL waiting for this ‘leader’ to appear.

Let me give you some characteristics of the Mahdi:  

1. The Mahdi is Islam’s primary messiah figure.
2. He will be a descendant of Muhammad and will bear Muhammad’s name (Muhammad bin Abdullah).
3. He will be a very devout Muslim.
4. He will be an unparalleled spiritual, political and military world leader.
5. He will emerge after a period of great turmoil and suffering upon the earth.
6. He will establish justice and righteousness throughout the world and eradicate tyranny and oppression.
7. He will be the Caliph and Imam (vice-regent and leader) of Muslims worldwide
8. He will lead a world revolution and establish a new world order.
9. He will lead military action against all those who oppose him.
10. He will invade many countries.
11. He will make a seven year peace treaty with a Jew of priestly lineage
12. He will conquer Israel for Islam and lead the “faithful Muslims” in a final slaughter/battle against Jews.
13. He will establish the new Islamic world headquarters from Jerusalem.
14. He will rule for seven years, nine or nineteen years (according to differing interpretations)
15. He will cause Islam to be the only religion practiced on the earth.
16. He will appear riding a white horse 
17. He will discover some previously undiscovered biblical manuscripts that he will use to argue with the Jews and cause some Jews to convert to Islam.
18. He will also re-discover the Ark of the Covenant from the Sea of Galilee, which he will bring to Jerusalem.
19. He will have supernatural power from Allah over the wind and the rain and crops.
20. He will possess and distribute enormous amounts of wealth.
21. He will be loved by all the people of the earth.

Number 18 is fairly significant and explains WHY there is a plan in place to capture this region from Israel.

Their Prophet said to them, “The sign of his kingship is that the Ark will come to you, containing serenity from your Lord and certain relics left by the families of Musa and Harun. It will be borne by angels. There is a sign for you in that if you are believers…”(Surat al-Baqara, 248) *the chapters of the Qur’an are called Surats or surahs- this is from the chapter of the Qur’an called al-Baqara- The Cow

“The reason he is called Hazrat Mahdi (as) is that he shows the way to a hidden thing. HE WILL BRING FORTH THE ARK (HOLY RELICS CHEST) IN A PLACE KNOWN AS ANTIOCH.” (Suyuti, Al-Hawi li al-Fatawa, II. 82) *a book of fatawa by Imam Suyuti

“HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) WILL BRING THE ARK OF THE COVENANT OUT OF THE CAVE OF ANTIOCH.” (Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi Alamat al-Mahdi al- Muntadhar, 54) *a Hadith -teachings, deeds and sayings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad

HE WILL HAVE THE STAFF OF MUSA AND THE RING OF SULAYMAN. …Allah will keep him hidden from sight until He wills. Then he will appear and fill the Earth with justice, in the same way it was formerly filled with oppression. (Bihar Al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 32; Ithbat Al-Hudat, Vol. 6, p. 19) * Bihar Al-Anwar is a Hadith -teachings, deeds and sayings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad compiled by the Shi’i scholar Mulla Muhammad Baqir

Ka’b al-Ahbar (a prominent Muslim from Yemen, who narrated many Isra’iliyyat, which areHadiths originating from Jewish and Christian traditions rather than from sources that quote Muhammad; these are mostly found in the commentaries of the Qur’an) says, “He will be called ‘Mahdi” because he will guide (yahdi) to something hidden and will bring out the Torah and Gospel from a town called Antioch.” ³⁵ As-Suyuti mentioned in al-Hawi that the messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “he is called the Mahdi because he will guide the people to a mountain in Syria from which he will bring out the volumes of the Torah to refute the Jews.  At the hands of the Mahdi the Ark of the Covenant will be brought forth from the Lake of Tiberias (the sea of Galilee) and taken and placed in Jerusalem.” ³⁶ Ad-Dani said that he is called the Mahdi because he will be guided to a mountain in Syria from which he will bring forth the volumes of the Torah with which to argue against the Jews and at his hands a group of them will become Muslim. ³⁷

Apparently, the purpose of finding these “lost” portions of the Old and New Testaments as well as the Ark of the Covenant is to help the Mahdi win converts from both Christianity and Judaism prior to “eradicating” the remainder who do not convert to Islam.

While most Christians are content to wait patiently on the Lord’s action to see His prophecies fulfilled,

the Muslims seem to feel it is there duty to ‘facilitate’ their Mahdi’s coming.

Now we’ll get into how this is affecting the ISIS self-proclaimed caliphate and why we are seeing the ISIS news that we have the last few months.

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) – also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant- is an active jihadist militant group in Iraq and Syria. As they just proclaimed themselves as Caliphate, it claims religious authority over all Muslims and aspires to bring much of the Muslim-inhabited regions of the world under its direct political control, beginning with nearby territory in the Levant region, which includes Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Cyprus, and an area in southern Turkey.

Right now, ISIS is mainly in Syria and Iraq. But they are spreading.

Here are some items that the Qur’an tells these Muslim extremists:

Disorder in Damascus, Iraq, and Arabian Peninsula:

Our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “There will be such troubles and calamities that nobody will be able to find a place of shelter. These woes will move around Sham, fall upon Iraq, and tie the hands and feet of the Arabian Peninsula. The community of Islam will fight against troubles in the steppes. Nobody will feel any sympathy for them or even say: “Alas!” As they try to remedy their woes on the one hand, they will emerge again on the other.” (Muntakhab Kanz al-‘Ummal, vol. 5, pp. 38-39.)

Jaber bin Samra based on Nafi bin Otba reports that the Prophet said: ” …You will marsh against (or attack) the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will open (conquer) it, then Persia and Allah will open (conquer) it. Then, you will marsh against (attack) the Romans’ landand Allah will open (or conquer) it. Then, you will marsh against (attack) the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) (or Dajjal’s land), and Allah will open (conquer) it.” Then, Nafi said (to Jaber): “O’ Jaber, we will not see the Dajjal emerge until the Romans’ land has been conquered (by Allah for the Muslims).” (Sahih Muslim and Ibn Majah)

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the military Friday to prepare for a “significant expansion” of its ground operation against Gaza militants. Israel accepted the terms, but Hamas refused, demanding that Israel and Egypt first give guarantees to ease the blockade on Gaza. “Since there is no way to deal with the tunnels only from the air, our soldiers are doing it now from the ground,” Netanyahu said at the opening of an emergency cabinet meeting in Tel Aviv, the Jerusalem Post reported. “We decided to launch the action after we tried all the other ways, and with an understanding that without this operation the price we will have to pay later would be much higher.”

Headline: Ministers Weigh Ground Offensive, Call Up More Reservists

A ground offensive is in the works, AFP reports Wednesday, after Hamas broke Tuesday’s brief cease-fire and pummeled Israel with rockets – and threats. The Security Cabinet approved an order to call up 8,000 additional reserve soldiers Wednesday afternoon, it was just announced, in addition to the 40,000 soldiers approved to be called up for reserve duty last week ahead of a possible ground offensive. The initiative may finally be actualized later this week, according to IDF Radio, which noted that while Israel would prefer a truce to putting boots on the ground, the security cabinet met overnight to discuss the possibility of a limited ground operation. Ministers have already approved plans to raid Hamas’s full network of terror tunnels. They also discussed the possibility of a limited ground incursion which would not initially involve entering towns of villages but focus on terrorist positions in rural areas it said. That would likely include the sites of former Jewish communities there, which were expelled during the 2005 Disengagement Plan. “Israel has no option but to continue the operation and intensify it,” former national security adviser Giora Eiland told IDF Radio.

Headline: If ordered into Gaza, IDF Ground Forces ready for anti-tank missiles, urban combat

If ordered into the Gaza Strip, IDF Ground Forces expect to encounter Hamas cells with anti-tank missiles, heavy urban combat, subterranean warfare, and other challenges. “This is the combat that characterizes a terror organization,” the source said. The IDF has maintained large numbers of Ground Forces on the Gaza border. IDF Brigade commanders would have a high degree of independence if ordered to enter the Gaza Strip. Hamas planned to employ bomb-filled tunnels to facilitate large-scale killing sprees and kidnapping attacks on the border, according to Israeli security officials. Hamas will try to prove that an Israeli ground offensive will not have an impact on its ability to fire rockets, though its chances of achieving this remain decidedly low. Only a ground maneuver can truly deal with the growing threat of tunnels that straddle the border, officials believe. Addressing Hamas’s use of the Palestinian population as a human shield, the senior source said there are over a dozen Hamas brigade commanders who are hiding within the Gazan civilian population, preventing the IDF from striking them. Hamas commanders use messengers who pass along written notes, he added.

Abbas is due to meet Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey on Friday but Turkish officials refuse to confirm if Mashaal would visit. No contacts have been made with Israel so far, a Turkish official told AFP. “Concrete steps can only be taken after Israel stops its assault on Gaza,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. Turkey brokering a ceasefire would be a challenge, given its tense relations with Israel in recent years.

The members of the delegation are Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) chief Yoram Cohen, senior Defense Ministry official Amos Gilad, and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s personal envoy, Attorney Yitzhak Molcho. Earlier on Wednesday, Palestinian Authority sources said that a Hamas official was also in Cairo for talks about Egyptian-led efforts to end a nine-day conflict between the Gaza-based Islamist movement and Israel. The terrorist group has already rejected a proposal (the first proposal) that Egypt put forward this week aimed at bringing an end to the violence, complaining that it had been excluded from the discussions. Israel, meanwhile, has accepted a request by UN envoy Robert Serry to enact a “humanitarian ceasefire” for several hours starting Thursday morning. The IDF Spokesman said the ceasefire will be in effect between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Thursday, and will be a “window of opportunity” for Palestinian Arabs in Gaza to get supplies and evacuate. The second article states that Hamas has already rejected the 2^nd peace proposal from Egypt and is denying that they are in Cairo for talks. The group is reported to have five main demands: An opening of all crossings between Israel and the Gaza Strip; opening of the Rafah crossing with Egypt for 24 hours, with an international guarantee it will not be closed; naval access in Gaza; permission for Gaza residents to pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem; the release of the prisoners freed in the Gilad Shalit swap and then rearrested; improved conditions for Palestinians imprisoned in Israel.

Jordanian troops rushed to the border with Iraq earlier this week, reinforcing their defences with convoys of tanks, troops and rocket launchers, as Sunni insurgents seized control of the official border post on the Iraqi side. Jordan, whose General Intelligence Directorate works closely with the United States, has long been considered an essential “buffer” between the historically tumultuous Iraq and Syria and Israel. Iraqi tribes and Sunni opposition groups formed on Wednesday their first unified coalition from Amman, calling on the international community to boycott the Nouri Al Maliki government. In a so-called “Amman conference to save Iraq”, some 200 Iraqi tribal leaders, Baathists, Islamists and activists gathered to form the Iraqi opposition’s first unified coalition. In its first statement, the Iraqi Sunni opposition called on the international community to boycott the Maliki government and officially recognise rebel forces as a legitimate resistance group. “We call on the international community to cut ties with the Maliki government, which is killing its own citizens and to support the Iraqi revolution to restore a united Iraq,” Ahmed Dabashi, head of the Islamic Army revolutionary group in Iraq and conference co-organiser, said at the closing of the summit. The Islamic State’s (IS, formerly ISIS) recent statements have raised a few eyebrows; particularly ones that touch on the issue of Islamists in Roumieh prison. Sources suggest that current IS members have old ties to militant group Fatah al-Islam, which clashed with the Lebanese Army in Nahr al-Bared camp back in 2007. Back then, the group’s leader was accused of being a Syrian operative engaged in destabilizing Lebanon’s government. Today, circumstantial evidence also raises the possibility of the IS having been infiltrated by Syrian intelligence so as to gear the group’s activities towards the regime’s interests. The formal declaration of an Islamic state by insurgents in Syria and Iraq reverberated immediately in Lebanon. Soon thereafter, the IS assigned a man identified as Abdel Salam al-Ordoni as the organization’s emir, or leader, in Lebanon.

Headline: Lebanon Files UN Complaint Against Israel

Lebanon filed a complaint on Thursday against Israel at the UN Security Council, saying it had violated its sovereignty by opening fire on its territory in retaliation for rocket attacks. The foreign ministry said Israel fired 102 shells at Lebanon between July 11 and 14, during the ongoing war between Israel and Gaza, describing this as “repeated and dangerous violations”. Headline:Egypt reluctant to broker another Gaza truce

Critics say Egypt was slow to respond to the current crisis, and its initial efforts have faltered. Add to that the open mistrust being demonstrated by the key Palestinian faction – Hamas – and it does not look like a winning formula. When news of Egypt’s ceasefire proposal emerged on Monday night it came as a surprise to many – apparently including the leadership of Hamas. If someone else manages to do a deal – without Egypt – that would dent the prestige of the new Egyptian President, Abdul Fattah al-Sisi. With his right hand on the Quran, the holy book of Islam, Mr. Assad took the oath at the People’s Palace overlooking Damascus, the capital. But even as he prepared for a new term, rebels offered a counterpoint, firing five mortar shells into Damascus and killing four people. Two shells landed near the central Umayyad Square, the official news agency SANA said. Meanwhile, Syrian government forces heavily shelled the central town of Morek in an attempt to wrest it from rebels, activists said on Thursday. Military helicopters dropped barrels packed with explosives on the city overnight, said the Local Coordination Committees. More than 20 bombs were dropped by aircraft on the town on Wednesday, reported the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Morek is one of three towns that lie on a strategic highway linking central and northern Syria. Rebels linked mostly to Islamic groups have been holding the town for the past four months.

Hezbollah and the Syrian branch of al Qaeda have fought a deadly five-day battle in Syria near the border with Lebanon, a Hezbollah source and a fighter for the Nusra Front said on Thursday. Hezbollah is a Shi’ite Muslim militant group that has fought alongside troops loyal to President Bashar al-Assad in Syria’s civil war, now in its fourth year. Al Qaeda’s Nusra Front is a Sunni militia that considers all Shi’ites heretics deserving death. A Nusra Front member said Hezbollah had lost many fighters over the past few days during the clashes in Syria’s Qalamoun mountains. On Wednesday, Hezbollah tried to enter Syria from two Shi’ite Lebanese villages on the border when they were ambushed by Nusra Front fighters. “We saw them trying to sneak in,” he said. “We waited for them, and when they arrived and before they were able to load their guns or rocket-propelled grenades, we attacked. Some of them escaped.” A Hezbollah source confirmed there had been an attack and said the group had lost three fighters during the Wednesday assault, upping the death toll to nine Hezbollah fighters killed in the area this week.

Russia has quietly reached an agreement with Cuba to reopen a Soviet-era spy base on America’s doorstep, amid souring relations between Moscow and Washington. The deal to reopen the signals intelligence facility in Lourdes, south of Havana, was agreed in principle during president Vladimir Putin‘s visit to the island as part of a Latin American tour last week, according to the newspaper Kommersant. Opened in 1967, the Lourdes facility was the Soviet Union’s largest foreign base, a mere 155 miles from the US coast. It employed up to 3,000 military and intelligence personnel to intercept a wide array of American telephone and radio communications, but Putin announced its closure in 2001 because it was too expensive – Russia had been paying $200m (£117m) a year in rent – and in response to US demands. After Putin visited Cuba on Friday, the Kremlin press service said the president had forgiven 90% of Cuba’s unpaid Soviet-era debts, which totalled $32bn (£18.6bn) – a concession that now appears to be tied to the agreement to reopen the base.

Pro-Moscow separatists battled to break through lines of government forces near the border with Russia in eastern Ukraine on Wednesday, and a tentative step towards agreeing a ceasefire in the intensifying three-month conflict failed. Fighting has escalated sharply since Ukrainian forces pushed rebels out of their stronghold in the town of Slaviansk 10 days ago. The past several days have seen Russia and Ukraine trade accusations of firing across the border. Ukraine’s military said 11 more troops were killed in the space of 24 hours, mostly in clashes near the frontier. Ukraine has been trying to put down a revolt by heavily-armed fighters, many of them from Russia, who have sought independence for two eastern provinces since April. Russia annexed Ukraine’s Crimea peninsula in March after a pro-Russian president was ousted in Kiev. Moscow denies supporting the separatists in eastern Ukraine, but Kiev says many of the fighters and their leaders have travelled from Russia and brought heavy weapons across the border. Ukrainian troops have focussed their efforts in recent days on securing the frontier to prevent the arrival of more fighters and weapons. Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for Ukraine’s defence and security council, told journalists the separatists had attacked government positions along the border overnight. Government troops had been ambushed by separatists at Izvarino on the border and there had been early morning clashes near the border settlement of Stepanivka when separatists tried to break out of encirclement by the army, he said. “There was tank and mortar fire and from rockets on positions of the (Ukrainian) ‘anti-terrorist operation’,” Lysenko said. Headline: Iranian commanders on front line of Iraq’s fight

A powerful Iranian general has emerged as the chief tactician in Iraq’s fight against Sunni militants, working on the front lines alongside 120 advisers from his country’s Revolutionary Guard to direct Shiite militiamen and government forces in the smallest details of battle, militia commanders and government officials say. The startlingly hands-on role of Iranian Gen. Ghasem Soleimani points to the extent of the Shiite-led Iraqi government’s reliance on its ally Tehran. It also strikes a strong contrast with the more methodical, cautious approach of the United States, Iran’s rival for influence in Iraq. Shiite fighters have come to idolize the Iranians who have moved into the heat of battle alongside them — with two Iranian advisers killed in fighting — while government officials grumble the United States has failed to come to their aid. The Iranian role, however, risks further sharpening the sectarian rifts in the conflict. At a time when the U.S. and others are pressing Iraq’s government to reach out to Sunnis to reduce support for the insurgency, the effective Iranian command of Iraq’s defense is likely to further alienate Sunnis, who have long accused Shiite-led Iran of trying to dominate Iraq through its allies here.

Headline: Baghdad suicide bombings kill 9

Iraqi security forces repelled an insurgent attack on a northern Shiite Turkmen town, killing 15 militants, an official said Thursday. The attack by the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) insurgents and allied Sunni Islamist extremists on the town of Amirli took place Wednesday, said Talib al-Bayati, an official from the nearby town of Suleiman Bek. “Iraqi forces, with the help of military aircraft, repelled an attack on Amirli on three sides and killed 15 gunmen, according to an initial toll,” said Bayati. Amirli lies to the south of Suleiman Bek, which fell to an ISIS-led onslaught that swept parts of Iraq’s north and west last month.

Headline:Tripoli airport under fire for fourth straight day

Libya on Thursday asked the United Nations for help to build up its security forces, with the foreign minister warning that his country could turn into a “failed state”. Libyan Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdelaziz asked the UN Security Council to dispatch experts to train the country’s defense and police forces to ensure they can protect oil fields, airports and other vital sites. “We are not asking for military intervention,” said Abdelaziz. “We are asking for a team from the UN specialized in the field of security.” Libya has seen a surge of violence, with Islamist and other militias recently locked in fighting around Tripoli airport, which has been shut down amid growing fears of all-out civil war. “Should Libya become a failed state, kidnapped by radical groups and warlords, the consequences would be far-reaching and perhaps beyond control,” warned Abdelaziz. Libya could become a “hub for attracting extremists”, feeding radicalism and the arms flow in the region and further afield in Syria, he warned. “Don’t you think that such patterns that are indicative of heading towards a failed state would justify a stronger, more strategic engagement from the Security Council?” he asked. The 15-member Security Council was expected to issue a statement later on the Libya crisis. The United Nations last week evacuated its staff from Libya after the latest upsurge in fighting.

Headline:Terrorist’ ambush kills 14 Tunisian soldiers

A “terrorist” attack on two military checkpoints killed 14 Tunisian soldiers and wounded several others, in the Mount Chaambi region near the border with Algeria, the defense ministry announced early Thursday. “The new toll from the clashes with the terrorist groups is four dead in the ranks of the national army,” ministry spokesman Rachid Bouhoula told Agence France-Presse, adding that one of the assailants was killed. The clashes took place Wednesday evening, as “two terrorist groups attacked two national army posts with machineguns and RPGs [rocket-propelled grenades] around 7:40 pm [18:40 GMT],” Bouhoula said. The army has been conducting an operation to flush out Islamist militant fighters, the TAP state news agency said.

Headline: BRICS launches development bank

Leaders of the world’s five emerging economies have launched a development bank aimed at countering the Western-dominated international financial system.Leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, also known as BRICS group, made the decision at a summit in Fortaleza, Brazil on Tuesday. “There will be a very powerful means to prevent new economic difficulties in the world scenario and creating the bank will also establish the basis for huge macroeconomic changes,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said, adding that the bank “will allow us to undertake joint plans regarding out development.” During and address at the summit Putin also called for the establishment a new energy association to increase the energy security of the BRICS group. In accordance with the Russian president’s offer, the new energy association would include an institute for energy safety and a reserve fuel bank. Russia has been seeking new international partners following its exclusion from the group of eight industrialized countries, known as the G-8 over the crisis in Ukraine.

Headline: Typhoon Rammasun kills at least 38 in Philippines

At least 38 people have been killed across the Philippines as Typhoon Rammasun continues to batter the country. Officials said Thursday that at least 38 people were killed as the massive storm continues across the main island of the Philippines, striking a number of population centers across southern and central Luzon. They also said at least eight people have gone missing. Alexander Pama, the executive director of the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, said over one million people have been affected by the typhoon, out of which 500,000 have fled to emergency shelters in about a dozen provinces and the capital city of Manila. According to reports, hundreds of thousands were left without power in at least 11 provinces; although, in some, electricity was cut off for precautionary measures.

Headline: China lightning, floods and landslides leave dozens dead

Dozens of people have died in the past week as torrential rain batters swathes of China, with at least six killed by lightning, thousands of homes destroyed and more than 300,000 evacuated, state media said. There had been six deaths from lightning strikes in the central province of Jiangxi since last Friday, the official Xinhua news agency reported. There were other fatalities from lightning in Guizhou in the southwest, it said, where a total of seven people died. A landslide in the province early Thursday buried eight people, Xinhua said, with two rescued by mid-morning but six still missing. Another landslide in the southwestern province of Yunnan on Wednesday left at least nine people dead, Xinhua said. Officials are bracing for more devastation, the China Daily said, reporting a warning that “local authorities should make full-scale preparations for geological disasters that could be triggered by rains”.

As I said, many times before when Israel attacks the PLO they stop firing rockets but they always pick up again. This has been their pattern. If the Prime Minister thinks that another cease fire will stop the Hamas, and PLO he will only see that he again gave time for the PLO and Hamas to regroup themselves for the next attack. Right now Egypt’s leader is trying to bring about a cease fire. Three rockets fired from Lebanon at Western Galilee- THESE ARE MORE ROCKETS

ALL THE ISRAELI NEWS HAS THIS LISTED FOR SATURDAY.

For the first time since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge, three rockets fell in open areas in the Western Galilee on Saturday night. No one was hurt and no damage was caused.

The IDF responded to the rockets with artillery fire towards the source of the rockets lauching.

Sirens blared at 10:42pm in Nahariya, Shlomi and Rosh Hanikra, among other areas.

Northern residents were surprised of the siren that cut through the relative quiet the area has been enjoying recently.

On Friday, around 6:30am, a rocket fired from Lebanon exploded near Metula. No one was hurt and light damage was caused. The IDF returned fire with artillery shells.

THE FOX NEWS STORY ON FRIDAY ABOUT LEBANON :  The Lebanese military said three rockets (THIS IS WRONG- 1 ROCKET FIRED FRIDAY– 3 ROCKETS FIRED SATURDAY )  were fired toward Israel around 6 a.m. and the Israelis retaliated by firing about 25 artillery shells on the area. The Katyusha rocket was fired towards the Upper Galilee, and exploded in an open region. Lebanese sources told The Daily Star that Lebanese Army Intelligence had found traces of six rockets in the Mari area in the Hasbaya region, some two kilometers from the Blue Line, the de facto border between the two states.

Because they are people who respect life and want to give people a chance to flee the areas that the Hamas have placed their rocket launchers.  Hamas has one goal and that has always been kill the Israeli’s until there no more left!

Bombs Away!

Before Israel releases its bombs, the intended ‘house’ is notified. Not once, rather twice. “Get out, we are going to bomb this house.” The people inside have, not 15 seconds, but five minutes to evacuate. Then a ‘warning flare’ is released. “We are serious about this.” And only after both these warnings, is the building destroyed.

Of course, these are not random dwellings. These are the home bases of the beasts trying to destroy Israel. If the people inside take the alerts seriously, they are not injured. But lately, the Hamas terror leadership in Gaza has told its citizens to ‘ignore’ the Israeli forewarning. Not only don’t they care if their own civilians are killed. To the contrary, they prefer it. That way they have good photos to show the international media and at the UN.

Aid group sounds South Sudan cholera warning

An outbreak of cholera is putting thousands of lives at risk in parts of South Sudan, worsening the country’s humanitarian crisis amid ongoing violence, according to the aid group Save the Children. The disease has infected more than 2,600 people and killed at least 60 since the first cases were reported in the capital, Juba, in May. Cholera outbreaks or alerts have been reported in nine of South Sudan’s 10 states. The situation is likely to get worse with heavy rains expected in coming weeks and months, the aid group said, calling for greater supplies of medicines.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Israel of a policy “based on lies” on Friday, as he fumed over Operation Protective Edge, in his latest vehement criticism of the Jewish state.

“They are not honest… We cannot take the side of the cruel,” Erdogan told supporters in Istanbul, noting that 100 Palestinians had now been killed while no lives had been lost in Israel. ”   

“They say (Hamas) is firing rockets. But is there anybody who died?” he asked. “The number of Palestinians that you (Israel) killed is now 100. Their (Israel’s) life is based on lies.” 

Hours earlier, Erdogan threatened to sever the normalization process with Israel over the operation, which aims to protect the 3.5 million Israeli citizens now estimated to be in the line of Hamas’s rocket fire, 

“You will first stop this oppression. If not, it is not possible to realize normalization between Turkey and Israel,” Erdogan said. 

The statement surfaces despite efforts to ease strain between Israel and Turkey, in light of the Mavi Marmara incident of 2010.

If someone made it a point to tell you they were going to kill you and, then tell you how they were going to kill you what would you do?  Well, this is exactly what Hamas has just done to Israel. Keep in mind at a time when the world is hoping for calm so Israel doesn’t roll in their tanks into the Gaza Hamas has made it a point to inflame the problem.  Why would they do this one may ask?  Hamas is well aware that they alone are no match for Israel’s power so inviting Israel to roll their tanks would really only be an act of suicide for Hamas. Hamas knows that when Israel invades the Gaza the entire world will again see Israel as the aggressor.  The tanks would inflame the other Arab nations and could cause the Arabs to join in on the fight against Israel which just could lead to the Psalm 83 war.  So, in short Hamas wants Israel to attack them in the Gaza!  Watch the news today and this evening because tensions in Israel are mounting and we may be just days away from another full blown war.  If you are new to my site and do not know much about Bible prophecy the Psalm 83 war is one prophecy you really need to understand.  Why?  Because if the Psalm 83 war does break out this time it would show us we have just taken a major step in the last days and it will be a sign to the Church Christ is coming soon.  There is also the chance that this new round of violence could die down again and just be another one of the birth pain signs Jesus warned us about in Mark 13:8.  Knowing what Hamas has stated about attacking Israel and the fact that they are still firing rockets at Israel my bet is the Prime Minister will have to give the order to send in the tanks and drive out Hamas.  We will see!

Code Red sirens sounded in several communities throughout Israel on Thursday afternoon as Israel’s anti-rocket system successfully intercepted a barrage of Hamas-fired projectiles over the Shfela region. Earthquakes have been more frequent recently under the volcano recently. Most of them were small (below mag. 3) and shallow events. It is unknown whether these relate to magmatic movements inside the volcano, increased hydrothermal activity or are adjustments of the ice cap due to increased melting. The government has declared “Uncertainty level” for Katla volcano yesterday. The largest hazard comes in the form of melt-water floods and sulfurous volcanic gasses dissolved in and released from glacial rivers.  People are advised not to stop at Múlakvísl and Jökulsá and other glacier river valleys and keep cell phones turned on in order to be able to receive potential SMS alerts.

5.4 magnitude quake jolts various parts of country

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A 5.4 magnitude earthquake jolted various parts of country on Tuesday. The terrified residents came out of their homes by reciting Kalma Tayyaba however no casualty was reported. The areas where the jolts were felt included Rawalpindi, Chiniot, Gilgit-Baltistan region, Ghazar, Skardu, Batagram, Abottabad, Haripur, Mansehra and Muzaffarabad areas of the coutrny s northern region. The magnitude of the quake was recorded as 5.4 on the Richter scale and its epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometres in north western Kashmir region.   Burundi law to limit church numbers

A government survey last year found there were 557 denominations practicing in the small Central African state. New regulations would require churches to have at least 500 members and a proper building. Evangelical churches mushroomed during and after the long ethnic-based civil war, which officially ended in 2005 after some 300,000 people had died. The BBC’s Prime Ndikumagenge in the capital, Bujumbura, says the bill received the unanimous support of MPs in the National Assembly and is unlikely to face much opposition in the Senate. If no changes are made to the draft legislation, it must be signed by the president within 30 days or sent back to parliament for a second reading. Once signed into law, churches would have a year to comply with the new regulations.
