With escalating fears regarding the stability of the eurozone, today King World News interviewed former LBMA commodities broker and trader and current MEP Nigel Farage to get his take on the situation. Farage told KWN he believes there will be an attempt, within months, to install a dictatorship in Europe. Here is what Farage had to say about the deteriorating situation: “Frankly, the whole thing is falling apart. And in the middle of all of this, Mrs Merkel came out and said, ‘The fiscal treaty cannot be renegotiated, and it must hold.’ So, I suppose, for once, we’ve got the Germans providing the humor, because this thing isn’t going to hold.” “I now believe the euro and the whole euro system are now in, by far, the deepest crisis that we’ve seen. We are in totally uncharted, chaotic territory. In some ways the ball is very much on the German side of the court. If they are unable to impose the discipline they thought this new Compact Treaty would give them, then maybe it’s the Germans that say, ‘Right, Greece you’ve got to leave.’ We know once Greece leaves, the dominos start to fall. To say that it’s a total mess is entirely accurate. You cannot have national democracy and this new form of economic and political government. We’ve seen these guys do some terrible things. I mean they’ve gotten rid of elected Prime Ministers in Greece and Italy. But they cannot at the moment, without imposing a total dictatorship, stop general elections from taking place in countries…. *Mysterious fish kill under investigation in Kuwait (Zephaniah 1:3) Fish have been dying in large numbers along Kuwait bay. To assess the situation better, the EPA has requested the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) to investigate the cause and supervise the area. They do not know the reason behind these hundreds of types of dead fish, although there was a red tide twice, which may be the cause of fish kill.

*Texas one step closer to Real I.D. Act
More identification is now required in order to apply for a Texas driver license or identification card, and this new change has brought the state closer to complying with the controversial Real I.D. Act. Under the new law, applicants must prove they are Texas residents and that they have lived at their residence for at least 30 days. Among the forms of identification and proof of residency are current deeds and mortgages, concealed handgun licenses, medical cards, military documents and school transcripts. Other states across the country have implemented this law, as well, and many feel it walks the line of invading privacy. They do not want to provide more information than they have to, which is also an issue with the Real I.D. Act. This act, which has already taken effect in some states, turns driver licenses into national identification cards complete with chips that automatically allow computers to pull up biographic and biometric data.

An enormous sunspot group has taken shape on the surface of the sun, hinting that our star may soon start spouting off some powerful storms. The huge sunspot complex, known as AR 1476, rotated into Earth's view over the weekend. It measures more than 60,000 miles (100,000 kilometers) across, researchers said. Scientists with NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory mission, a space-based telescope watching the sun, dubbed the solar structure a "monster sunspot" in a Twitter announcement. Sunspots are temporary dark patches on the surface of the sun that are caused by intense magnetic activity. These structures sometimes erupt into solar flares, which send high-energy radiation streaming into space.

The International Committee of the Red Cross called on Israel on Tuesday to transfer six Palestinians who have been on hunger strike for weeks to hospital and allow visits from their families. In a statement, the humanitarian agency said that the six are in “imminent danger of dying”, although it upheld their right to choose whether or not they wanted to receive treatment. The scope of the hunger strike has posed a new challenge to Israel, which has come under international criticism over detention without trial and could face a violent Palestinian backlash if any of the protesters die. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas also warned on Tuesday that the death of any one of the hundreds of Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israel would be a "disaster" and could trigger a backlash that might slip out of control.

UN leader Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday demanded that Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israeli prisons be put on trial or be released, his spokesperson said. Ban wants a solution to a showdown over the prisoners "averting any further deterioration in their condition," said UN spokesperson Martin Nesirky.
The UN secretary general "reiterates that those detained must be charged and face trial with judicial guarantees, or released without delay," the spokesperson added.

The Arab Spring in Prophecy

Luke 21:9 and Matthew 24:7 speak of nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom in the end times. Revelation 6:3-4 speaks of the fiery red horse given power to make men slay one another and Revelation 6:8 speaks again of this red horse in conjunction with the pale horse of Death and Hades, as the one that has the power to kill by sword.
I like to call this “The Arab Spring in Prophecy” because for us it is easy to identify-
that’s what the world calls it.
Luke 21:9: wars & commotions; the Greek word here is Akatastasia, meaning instability, a state of disorder, disturbance, confusion (revolutions)
Matthew 24:7: the Greek word for nation is Ethnos & refers to various ethnic groups fighting among themselves, where the next sentence in the verse refers to kingdoms (basileiva) fighting one another (not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom)

Bahraini regime forces have used tear gas and rubber bullets against anti-government demonstrators and raided their homes in two villages. Police raided homes and attacked protesters in the village of Ma’ameer, about 15 kilometers (9.5 miles) south of the capital, Manama, and the western village of Shahrakan on Monday. In Shahrakan, police fired tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse protesters. Meanwhile, Bahrain’s ruling monarchy has warned of an escalation in its ongoing crackdown on protests as a leading opposition figure says the government has put a stop to the so-called national dialogue. Bahraini media reported on Tuesday that the ruling Al Khalifah regime has vowed to invoke a new action plan against anti-government protesters.

Yemenis have held a demonstration in Sana’a to demand the dismissal of ex-regime remnants loyal to deposed dictator Ali Abdullah Saleh. On Tuesday, the demonstrators chanted anti-regime slogans and called for the trial of Saleh and his aides over the killing of anti-government protesters during the country's revolution, which began in January 2011. The protesters also said that the new president and the new government need to stop the US drone attacks targeting various places in the country.

*Spain: Teachers to strike over cuts on May 22nd
The five main teachers’ unions CCOO, ANPE, CSIF, STES and UGT have called a one-day strike on May 22nd to protest against government cuts and in support of the state education system. In a statement to the press today union leaders explained that the cuts brought in by central and regional government “equate to cuts of between 25 and 30 per cent in the education budget” and that thes “brutal” cuts come on top of numerous others made in state education over the past few years and represent the “biggest backward step ever” in the sector.

*Police officer injured during Sydney University protest
A policewoman has suffered a fractured arm during a violent confrontation with protesters near the University of Sydney on Monday afternoon, the New South Wales Police said. Hundreds of students and staff from the university joined the protest against job and budget cuts, according to the Australian Associated Press (AAP) reports. Police said the situation turned violent when part of the group tried to force their way inside the university's Darlington Center on City Road at 2:15 p.m. local time on Monday.
