Since putting up the red flag 7 days ago where I warned you the watch for the many quakes to come fast there have been 14 major earthquakes at least a 6.0 and higher and humerous quakes at least 5.0 and higher.

Yesterday and the day before I showed you all of the quakes that have struck since I put up the RED FLAG. Quake news continues to pour in. Here is what has been reported so far today February 7, 2013.

39“After you, another kingdom will rise, inferior to yours. Next, a third kingdom, one of bronze, will rule over the whole earth. 40Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. 41Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.

Revelation 17: 12“The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. 13They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast.

A derivative is a financial instrument that derives or gets it value from some real good or stock. It is in its most basic form simply a contract between two parties to exchange value based on the action of a real good or service. Typically, the seller receives money in exchange for an agreement to purchase or sell some good or service at some specified future date.

The largest appeal of derivatives is that they offer some degree of leverage. Leverage is a financial term that refers to the multiplication that happens when a small amount of money is used to control an item of much larger value. A mortgage is the most common form of leverage. For a small amount of money and taking on the obligation of a mortgage, a person gains control of a property of much larger value than the small amount of money that has exchanged hands.

Derivatives offer the same sort of leverage or multiplication as a mortgage. For a small amount of money, the investor can control a much larger value of company stock then would be possible without use of derivatives. This can work both ways, though. If the investor purchasing the derivative is correct, then more money can be made than if the investment had been made directly into the company itself. However, if the investor is wrong, the losses are multiplied instead.
