End Times Research Ministry Missions Update Kenya 1-21-13

Franncis Njoroge is one of the people who have come on board as a Last Chronicles Missions partner.The Last Chronicles Missions along with Ascent Ministries is helping Francis take care of many young men who were living on the streets. We have taken them off the streets and are paying for a place for all the boys to live. Francis is over seeing them and teaching them the Word of God. We just sent Francis more funds to take care of the rent. We only had a few days left before the boys would be tossed out of the home unless Jesus stepped in which He did. Below is the receipt Francis sent me as proof the rent was taken care of.

Today I shared Word of God in our Sunday meeting. I shared 1 cor 15:51-52, “Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed. in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. After that I and Zeenat visited some non Christian who live in tents. We shared about our mission with them. Glory to God they show their willing to visit us. Soon I and Zeenat will visit them. In our first visit we will give them food items and held free medical camp and show Christ love to them. Please keep this in your prayers.

I’m sure there will be many initiatives, and certainly we’ll have an important task in trying to tell the truth to the world: that the Palestinian problem is neither the core of the instability in the Middle East (people actually believed that until the Arab Spring; I think they’re a little wiser now), nor that the question of settlements is the core of the Palestinian-Israel conflict. The core of the conflict is the persistent refusal of the Palestinians to recognize the Jewish state in any boundary.

Daniel 9:27 is known as the Seventieth Week of Daniel (summary diagram), the seventieth seven or the “Tribulation”. As with all Scripture, this important passage should be interpreted in its plain, natural, literal sense, taking care to avoid speculation, allegorization, application of symbolism or spiritualization. Any other interpretative schema other than literal leaves this critical passage and this entire section (Da 9:24-27) open to a variety of interpretations limited only by the expositor’s imagination. As discussed below, the natural and most logical interpretation is to take Daniel 9:27 literally. The literal interpretation indicates the events described are yet future, for one cannot identify a historical 7 year period which completely explains all the events (e.g., the Jewish Temple is currently non-existent, but must be present for sacrifices to be terminated!). This verse describes what expositors have referred to as The Tribulation but it should be noted that there is not specific Scripture that designates this entire seven year period as the tribulation. On the other hand, the term “Great Tribulation“ is a very specific term which was used by Jesus to designate the last 3.5 years of Daniel’s Seventieth Week (cf Mt 24:15 which occurs at midpoint of the seven years and Mt 24:21). The Old Testament term for this last 3.5 years is the time of Jacob’s distress (Jer 30:7 – see other synonyms).

And so the Seventieth Week of Daniel focuses future attention on the nation of Israel and the fate the Jews, as God allows His Chosen People to experience one last refining fire which results in a remnant of the nation of Israel who place their faith in Messiah. Daniel 9:27 is the backbone of all prophecy and as such serves as the skeleton on which one can superimpose the events of Revelation 6-19. It follows that the majority of the events of the Revelation are deal with the nation of Israel and not the Church. Below is a schematic summary that reflects the literal (futuristic) interpretation of Daniel 9:24-27).
