The question “Did the Universe have a beginning” has startling implications. If physical time and space didn’t even exist in the past, then what we are saying is that the universe came into being from absolutely nothing. This is impossible. It doesn’t surprise me that men are turning from the belief in god as the Creator to beliefs that we are “the creation itself” all that there is. Literally worship of ourselves, the universe, and material. Worshiping the crated material effect, rather than the cause of the effect. The scriptures again almost 200o years ago through the apostle Paul warned of the end times mindset please read here what Paul said was coming.
Romans 1:18-32
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
This is the exact mindset of our Western culture today. Evolutionary theory has taken hold of our academic campuses and our youth have been taught for years not that God is not reality, but only the material universe can be considered when asking the big questions of life. Another-wards forget the God myth and believe the Evolution story as scientific Fact! This by default leaves people having no compass for morality, meaning, or future destiny. And we can see this beginning to tear down the very fabric of our culture. It’s now about 24 inch rims, Jersey Shore, who is screwing who, how big your wallet is, how much pleasure can I get, and the vanities of life. The words of Jesus Christ are so relevant for today. “Do not love the World or anything in the world for the love of the world is enmity with God” Yet today everything Jesus told us not to love has become the literally crowns of glory in the culture.
Is it possible that Obama will shut down Christian web-sites? What’s with all the triple digit heat? Will war break out between the Arabs and Israel over gas and oil rights? What’s the Israel and South Sudan connection for the last days? Is our generation the drug generation?
Prophecy Sign: One sure way to know we are in the last days is to see the birth pain signs of the attack on the Christian faith. Matthew 24:9 warns us of the following: "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.” There is a report out that if true, will cause a great upheaval. The headline to this report is entitled: “US Order To Shutdown Millions Of Christian Websites Shocks World”. Please read the entire report as I am only gives you a section of it.
“A shocking report authored by the office of Russia’s top religious leader Patriarch Kirill I states that this past week the United States ordered over 10 million Christian websites destroyed that they claimed were a “threat” to their National Security and that the American Internet giant Google quickly responded by making them all disappear.
According to this report, Google first came under assault from the US government in June when the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced that they had launched an investigation into the company, a move defended against by top Google executive Amit Singhal who aside from claiming the attacks against them were baseless said, “At Google, we’ve always focused on putting the user first.”
After weeks of unrelenting pressure upon them, however, this past week Google, which had refused to answer the baseless charges against them, caved to the US government and announced that their Chairman, Eric Schmidt, who had previously said the charges against them were nonsense, agreed to testify before a US Senate Committee under threat of subpoena.
Co.cc is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Cocos (Keeling) Islands, an Australian territory. It is administered by VeriSign through a subsidiary company eNIC, which promotes it for international registration as “the next .com”; .cc was originally assigned in October 1997 to eNIC Corporation of Seattle WA by the IANA.
Most important to note about the .cc domain, this report points out, is its being preferred by Churches and Christian organizations around the world as “CC” also happens to be an abbreviation for “Christian Church” or “Catholic Church,” especially in Islamic Nations where due to strict laws against Christianity these free co.cc websites were the only way those belonging to this faith were able to communicate with each other.
In this Patriarch Kirill I report as to the “true reason” for the US ordered government shutdown of millions of Christian websites in Islamic Nations it states is the “fundamental shift” undertaken by the Obama regime to support radical Muslim elements instead of the once secular Arab leaders it once did.”
“US author Brad O’Leary in his book “America’s War On Christianity” warns that no one should be surprised about these things as many US regimes, including Obama’s, have waged a decades long war against this faith in their attempt to eradicate it from all forms of public expression, even to outlawing school children from even mentioning the words “God,” “Bible,” or “Jesus Christ” under threat of imprisonment.”

Prophecy Sign:In Matthew 24:7 Jesus warned us to watch for famines. One sure way to see a famine is for crops to be destroyed by the intense heat of the sun. Fact is, Jesus inRevelation 7:16 gave us more information about what the last days would look like. I quote the Lord. “They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.”Why did Jesus state this? For one reason that is very clear. Those who are left behind after the rapture will have to go through the seven year tribulation at which time the wrath of God is poured out on all those who refused Jesus as their Lord and savior. Part of the wrath will come in the form of the 7 Bowl judgments which can be seen in Revelation chapters 15 and 16. It is a this time that we are told the sun will scorch the Earth. The intense heat we are witnessing a the present time is nothing compared to what you will see if you are left behind. Each year we are witnessing news showing us that heat records are being broken and the triple digit heat is playing havoc with people and crops. Below are just a few of reports dealing with the issue of Earth’s heat.
“Sweltering summer temperatures in Dallas are expected to top 100 degrees for the 10th consecutive day as excessive heat warnings grip many central and southern states. The National Weather Service reported Monday that heat advisories are in place from Georgia to Illinois and back down to Oklahoma. Temperatures in those places may not reach 100 degrees, but the heat index could make it feel like triple digits.” The report also showed that Cincinnati, was under a heat warning as this city may reach a possible heat index of 104 degrees. Good Morning America today said that Wichita kanas will hit 111, Saint Louis 100, Memphis Tenn. 101.
Here is what news from the Capital Weather Gang reported about the heat and drought situation. “Several weeks ago, I called attention to the fact that, throughout this spring and early summer, many Americans have concurrently witnessed some of the worst flooding in recent memory and one of the worst droughts in their lifetimes. The stark juxtaposition of floods and drought is remarkable, and it’s showing no signs of abating. In fact, according to federal forecasters, flood risks are likely to remain high during the rest of the summer in parts of the Upper Midwest and West, while the drought hangs tough – or even intensifies its grip on a portion of the South.
In this post, I’m going to focus on the drought, which is a far less visible, but no less damaging force of nature compared to the Mississippi and Missouri River floods.
At a drought conference in Austin, Texas last week, climate forecasters delivered unwelcome news to water resource managers and other policy makers – the chance for significant drought relief during the next three to six months is extremely low in Texas, and many other portions of the expansive drought area that stretches from Arizona to Virginia.
Even if a tropical storm or hurricane were to make landfall in Texas during this hurricane season, it would be unlikely to dramatically lessen the drought’s severity in the Lone Star State, said Dan Collins, a forecaster for NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center, who took part in a media conference call from the drought meeting.” “Drought conditions currently extend from Arizona eastward across the Gulf Coast into Florida, and up the Southeast coast. In Texas and many other areas, the drought began back in October, when drier than average conditions set in, and rainfall has been well below average ever since. Many longstanding records for precipitation and temperatures have fallen during this period.”

Like I said, the heat is taking a toll on the crops. “Corn rose, capping the first weekly gain since May, and soybeans climbed on concern that hot, dry weather in the next two weeks will erode crop prospects in the U.S., the world’s biggest producer and exporter. Temperatures will approach 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 Celsius) next week from Nebraska to southwestern Indiana with overnight lows expected to be above average, increasing stress on crops, Commodity Weather Group LLC said in a report. Dry, hot weather will continue from July 19 to July 23, the forecaster said. “The U.S. forecast is a little more threatening today,” said Dax Wedemeyer, a broker at U.S. Commodities Inc. in West Des Moines. “Heat will rob yield potential from crops.” Corn futures for December delivery jumped 21.5 cents, or 3.5 percent, to close at $6.37 a bushel at 1:15 p.m. on the Chicago Board of Trade. The most-active contract gained 6.7 percent this week, the first advance in seven weeks, and is up 61 percent in the past year.” In chapter 5 of my book I have given you a detailed list of reports showing you how the cost of food is going up as a result of many things of which includes intense heat, and droughts. As you can see from today’s report prices are going up again and this falls in line with Christ’s warning found in Revelation 6:6 where people will have to work all day for one small meal. Food is going to rise in prices even worse as we move closer to the seven year tribulation, so get used to reports like the one you just read about today.
The heat just doesn’t affect people and crops but just about everything. Here is a look at what is happening in the ocean. “Warming ocean waters are causing the largest movement of marine species seen on Earth in more than two million years, according to scientists. In the Arctic, melting sea ice during recent summers has allowed a passage to open up from the Pacific ocean into the North Atlantic, allowing plankton, fish and even whales to into the Atlantic Ocean from the Pacific. The discovery has sparked fears delicate marine food webs could be unbalanced and lead to some species becoming extinct as competition for food between the native species and the invaders stretches resources. Rising ocean temperatures are also allowing species normally found in warmer sub-tropical regions to into the northeast Atlantic. A venomous warm-water species Pelagia noctiluca has forced the closure of beaches and is now becoming increasingly common in the waters around Britain.”

Prophecy Sign:One of the last day signs I have been watching closely is the warning Paul gave us concerning the sudden destruction that would come while Israel was calling for peace and safety. You will find this prophecy in 1 Thess. 5:3. I am also keeping tabs on the Psalm 83 war prophecy. We know that Israel will face off with her bordering neighbors in that war, No one can tell you for sure what will be the final strew that will start this war, but history has a way of repeating itself. In 2006 Israel went to war with Lebanon as a result of close to 6,000 rockets being laughed against them by the PLO. After that war I told you to watch the news because you will see more rockets laughed on Israel. Was my warning correct? Here is the headline to one of yesterday’s reports. “Gaza rocket fire resumes”. “Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip fired three rockets into southern Israel Saturday night. Two rockets hit open fields near communities in southern Israel, causing no injuries or damage. The third landed inside Gaza. Last week, an Israeli soldier was lightly wounded when a bomb planted by Palestinian terrorists along the Gaza security fence exploded near his tank.”
Every time the PLO sends these rockets raining down on Israel, Israel responds to these attacks with much greater force than was used against them. Israel has the right to protect their citizens. The only problem is, when the news hits the press, Israel is made out to be the bad guys for using such force. This is exactly what the PLO is looking for!
Could the Psalm 83 war break out over oil and gas rights? I won’t rule anything out as this point. Right now Israel and Lebanon are at each others throats over natural gas rights, which could spark the next war. I quote from a report entitled: “Israel-Lebanon tensions rise over natural gas rights.” “Israel and Lebanon have become embroiled in a legal and diplomatic battle over rights to undersea natural gas fields that could potentially turn violent. Dispute over natural resources has long been a catalyst for war, and few would be surprised if Lebanon's dominant Hizballah terrorist militia used this latest quarrel as justification for a fresh attack on the Jewish state. "Lebanon has warned that it insists on protecting its borders and resources," a spokesman for Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri told Bloomberg.”
Prophecy Sign:Isaiah chapter 18 is a prophecy telling us that (Cush) which is Modern day Sudan and Ethiopia would be purged and out of this purging would come a new nation with a new flag. This prophecy was just fulfilled and this weekend Sudan celebrated the new nation of South Sudan and their new flag. Isaiah 18 also tells us that Ethiopia will be a blessing to Israel. Here is exciting news about Israel and Sudan from a report entitled: “Israel recognizes, welcomes South Sudan”. “ Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday officially recognized the new Republic of South Sudan, and welcomed it into the global family of nations. "Yesterday, a new state was born, South Sudan. I hereby announce that Israel recognizes the Republic of South Sudan," Netanyahu said at Sunday's cabinet meeting. "We wish it success. This is a peace-seeking country and we would be pleased to cooperate with it in order to ensure its development and its prosperity." South Sudan's first president, Salva Kiir, hinted months ago that the new nation would establish diplomatic ties with Israel. The Arab-dominated northern Sudan has a long history of hostility toward the Jewish state. But the black African residents of the south are by and large not Muslim, and therefore do not harbor the same enmity for Israel. Some Israeli politicians also hope the new Republic of South Sudan will provide a solution to the Sudanese refugee situation in Israel.”
Prophecy Sign:In Revelation 9:21 we see Jesus speaking to us about drug's. The words “magic arts” in Revelation 9:21 is the Greek word pharmakia from which comes our word “pharmacy”. It signifies the use of medicine, drugs, spells, such as those used in witchcraft and those used today by those who are seeking a greater “high”. This generation was to be labeled a drug generation and we are.
“MEXICO CITY — Battles between the vicious Zetas gang and other drug cartels killed more than 40 people in a 24-hour span, a government official said Saturday. At least 20 people were killed when gunmen opened fire in a bar late Friday in the northern city of Monterrey, where the gang is fighting its former ally, the Gulf Cartel, said federal security spokesman Alejandro Poire. Eleven bodies shot with high-powered rifles were found earlier Friday, piled near a water well on the outskirts of Mexico City, where the gang is fighting the Knights Templar, Poire said. That is an offshoot of the La Familia gang that has terrorized its home state of Michoacan. He said another 10 people were found dead early Saturday in various parts of the northern city of Torreon, where the gang is fighting the Sinaloa cartel headed by Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman. "The violence is a product of this criminal rivalry … surrounding the intent to control illegal activities in a community, and not the only the earnings that come with it, but also with transporting drugs to the United States," Poire said in a news conference. He repeated the government insistence that the criminals, not the government's crackdown on organized crime, are causing the violence. More than 35,000 people have died since President Felipe Calderon stepped up the attack on organized crime in 2006, according to official figures. Some groups put the number at more than 40,000.”
Prophecy Sign:God’s Curse pattern strikes again this time on the Malaysian Government. On May 16, 2011 news from Jerusalem reported that “Israeli naval forces fired warning shots at a Malaysian aid ship as it approached the Gaza Strip on Monday, forcing the vessel to retreat to Egypt, organizers and the Israeli military said.” This ship has been in Egypt since Israel shot at her. Then on July 9, 2011 news was reported on the civil unrest in Malaysia. “Malaysian police fired repeated rounds of tear gas and detained over 1,400 people in the capital on Saturday as thousands of activists evaded roadblocks and barbed wire to hold a street protest against Prime Minister Najib Razak's government.” Only July 11, 2011 only two days after the riots begin news today shows the Malaysian Government is expecting more violence. The headline “More Protests to Come in Malaysia?”. It is clear to me God gave a warning to Malaysia when Israel shot at her. Malaysia did not heed the Lord’s warning to back off from giving aid to Israel’s enemies. Malaysia looks for another route to get the PLO the aid, and in the process the curse falls on the Malaysian Government in the form of the civil unrest against Prime Minister Najib Razak’s government.
If you have followed the the pattern of the curse you would see that with in days the nation who aids Israel’s enemies finds themselves in some type of chaos. The chaos can be brought on by some natural disaster or man made problems such as these riots. If you doubt the curse, read my newest chapter in my book entitled “The Curse of God”. Once you see the dates the nations came against Israel, and you see the dates that they were hit by some type of disaster, you hopefully will know God’s curse is real.

Prophecy Sign: Luke 21:11 Remember the “great earthquakes: Jesus told us we would see in the last days? TOKYO — A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 hit Japan’s northeastern coast on Sunday, prompting a tsunami warning for the area still recovering from a devastating quake and killer wave four months ago.
Residents in coastal areas were warned to evacuate, but there were no immediate reports of damage.
The quake hit at 9:57 local time (8:57 ADT), and a warning of a possible tsunami was issued for most of the northeastern coastline. The epicenter of the quake was in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Japan’s main island, Honshu, at a depth of about 10 kilometres.

Did Jesus warn us about storms and flooding in the last days? Will peace come to the Middle East or war? Are animals dying? Are there signs of America’s decline in the news again today? Why is there more talk about Israel attacking Iran before September? Why is South Sudan going to party on July 9, 2011?
Prophecy Sign: In Luke 21:25 Jesus gave us a warning concerning the roaring of the seas and waves. We know from this warning that we will see huge storms that move not only the waves but bring on massive flooding. In many of my posts I asked you to watch the new reports coming out, because you will see news that these things are the worse on record, or we have never seen any thing like this, or more records are being broken! The news today not only shows the signs of the huge storm, but how bads things have gotten.
"(Reuters) – With rivers still running above flood stage and soils saturated, forecasters predicted on Wednesday this summer flooding season could rival the worst in United States history. In the "Great Flood of 1993," record-breaking floods from April to August cost more than $25 billion in damages in at least nine states. But due to current high water levels and soaked soil, just a small amount of rain could trigger more flooding in areas that have already seen record flooding this 2011 season, the National Weather Service reported Wednesday. These factors indicate the flooding threat will continue through the summer, and potentially rival the flood of nearly two decades ago. "There is nowhere for any additional water to go," Director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's NWS Jack Hayes said in the NOAA statement. "While unusual for this time of year, all signs point to the flood threat continuing." NOAA's Climate Prediction Service has forecasted above-average rain in already-vulnerable areas of the upper Midwest and Northern Plans in the next two weeks, and for much of the region in monthly outlooks. Rising temperatures over the Rockies will add to the flood threat, releasing water from the remaining snowpack."
Prophecy Sign: I hope by now you are beginning to trust in the warnings Jesus gave us for the last days. one of the warnings that has already come to pass is the call for Peace and safety as seen in 1 Thess. 5:3. The part that has not been fulfilled in its entirety is the sudden destruction that comes while they are calling for this Peace and security. As you will see from reading today's post September may end up being a special month in Bible prophecy. Here is the current news concerning the call for Peace and security.
"On Wednesday, July 6, the Palestinian Authority notified the Obama administration that early next week it would file with the UN Security Council a request for admission to the United Nations as a full member recognized as an independent state within the 1967 borders. But debkafile's Washington sources report the US had got in first, having agreed with European powers and Russia on a ploy for deferring the Palestinian request. The Security Council would agree to discuss it behind closed doors without setting a date. A senior American official commented: The Security Council will stall by keeping the matter "under consideration" on its regular agenda.
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas knew what was going on: That is why his chief negotiator Saeb Erekat said in Washington Thursday, July 7, that there is no contradiction between the Palestinian application for UN recognition and the restart of negotiations with Israel. What Erekat had in mind was the US-French initiative -first revealed exclusively by debkafile Tuesday, July 5 – for the convening of an Israeli-Palestinian peace summit on September 2 in Paris. If this plan takes off, President Barack Obama will come to Paris to join President Nicolas Sarkozy in declaring the talks open alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
By putting of a Security Council debate, the US, France, Israel and the Palestinians have won two months to get negotiations off the ground and moving forward. The Americans hope to bring Turkey aboard for the effort, to which end it is necessary to end the quarrel between Ankara and Jerusalem in that time."
If the peace process which at the current time is stalled, continues to go no where, it is possible that war will break out between the Arabs and Israel. This of course would fulfill the sudden destruction which Paul talked about. All these signs are part of the last days events which point to the second coming of Christ.
Prophecy Sign: Look at what God warned us about the beasts dying in the last days. There are many reasons why beasts, (animals) will die. Read the warnings first then watch the video and see why these cows are dying off. "There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. Because of this the land mourns, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the fish of the sea are dying. [Hosea 4:1-3]
The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. [Ezekiel 38:20]
"I will sweep away both men and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea. The wicked will have only heaps of rubble when I cut off man from the face of the earth," declares the LORD. [Zephaniah 1:3]

Prophecy Sign: There is a report from the J. Post today entitled, “Israel-China relations growing deeper”. Revelation 9:14-16 and Rev. 16:12 we see China in prophecy. “Israel-China relations, which have focused on cooperation in high technology, have shown signs of widening over the last several months to encompass closer defense and security ties, and academic exchanges, people in the small community of bilateral specialists say. Ehud Barak visited China in June, the first time in over a decade by a defense minister of Israel, which at one time sold over half a billion dollars of weapons to China annually before US squeezed Israel to halt those ties in the late 1990s.”
Prophecy Sign: Daniel chapter 2 and chapter 7 gives us the details as to who is going to be the last world empire ruling the world at the time of Jesus’ second coming. Nothing is ever said about the United States, and in our generation we can now see why. I do believe the reason why we know is part of Daniel 12:3 where the Lord said in the last days we would increase in knowledge.
“Hiring slowed to a stagnant pace last month, pushing the unemployment rate up for the third consecutive month and raising questions about whether the economy has what it takes to climb out of its post-recession slump. The Labor Department reported Friday that employers added just 18,000 net jobs in June, the fewest in nine months. The jobless rate ticked up to 9.2 percent from 9.1 percent. The pace of job growth is not even enough to keep up with population growth — it would take about 125,000 jobs per months to do so — and certainly not enough to bring down the unemployment rate.”
“Since Obama took office, the economy is down 2.5 million jobs. The jobless rate has been at 9 percent or higher for 24 of the past 26 months. Ahmadinejad and several of his ministers, as well as senior commanders in the Revolutionary Guards, belong to a small but influential group in the Iranian government that adheres to a mystical belief in the coming of the Mahdi – the Twelfth, or hidden, Imam – who is considered the Shi'ite messiah. One of the conditions for the Mahdi's coming is that a huge proportion of the world's population be annihilated in a great war.
This radical Shi'ite doctrine has parallels in the idea of the War of Gog and Magog in Christian eschatology, which is prophesied to take place in the Jezreel Valley not far from Tel Megiddo (Armageddon in the Greek translation ). In it, for the first time, the author talked about "the day after" Iran carries out a successful nuclear test that would transform it into a nuclear power. Previously, Iranian government officials had always maintained strict silence on this subject. Was the article a fluke, the result of negligence by inattentive censors, or was it written to prepare public opinion, both at home and abroad?”

Independence Day, 9th July 2011, will be an inspirational day of events in the South Sudanese capital Juba, involving a Declaration of Independence, flag-raising ceremony and parade. The events will be attended by community, religious and government leaders from all around the country, 30 heads of state from Africa and other international dignitaries. Thousands of South Sudanese citizens and international friends will bear witness to the day, alongside local and international media. Round the country, there will be locally-planned celebrations in many villages and counties. These will include ceremonies, music, dancing and other cultural festivities, to herald the birth of the new nation.
Why is Southern Sudan becoming independent?
The 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed by the Sudan’s People Liberation Movement/Army in the South, and the Government of Sudan ended 21 years of civil war and brought to an end decades of struggle.
The CPA and Protocols provided for the people of Southern Sudan with the right to exercise their right to self-determination through a Referendum, to be held after a six year interim period. The Referendum, held in January 2011 was deemed free, fair and credible by the international community and delivered an overwhelming majority vote (98.83%) in favour of secession.
What happens on 9th July, 2011? This is the date that southern Sudan officially becomes an independent country, and adopts the agreed new name – the Republic of South Sudan (RSS) – through a Declaration of Independence and Statehood.
This date marks the end of the interim period under the CPA, with most provisions fulfilled, and a few outstanding issues still under negotiation.
His Excellency Salva Kiir Mayardit is sworn in for a four year term as President of the new Republic. A new Transitional Constitution also comes into force, subject to approval by the Assembly, and is signed into law by the President.
The Southern Sudan Legislative Assembly is reconstituted as the National Legislative Assembly by the President, as is the Council of States.
What about the trappings of statehood – like the currency, flag and national anthem?
Some symbols of the nation have already been chosen – these include a six coloured flag which was the official flag of the SPLA (Army), a National Anthem chosen through a nationwide competition, and a Coat of Arms bearing an image of the African fish eagle.
Will there be a change to South Sudan’s legal status in the world?
Yes. South Sudan will become the 196th country in the world, the 193rd member of the UN, and the 55th country in Africa. The new country will need to be recognised by nations one by one and South Sudan is already working towards this goal.
The Government is already on track to be formally accepted as a member of the United Nations, the World Bank, IMF, the Commonwealth Institute and other multilateral organisations. The UN will remain in South Sudan through a peace support mission and UN specialised agencies.
South Sudan will also become an active member of the African region and will join a range of bodies such as the African Union, COMESA and IGAD. It will also sign up to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
Over time, South Sudan will accede to dozens of bilateral, multilateral and international treaties and conventions.
There is already a new foreign policy strategy and a review of existing agreements, for example, sharing the waters of the River Nile. New regional and trade agreements will be created.
South Sudan will open foreign missions, including Embassies and Consulates around the world, with a new diplomatic service to staff them.
Will there be changes to the South’s legal framework?
A new Transitional Constitution of South Sudan is due to come into force on July 9th 2011, based on amendments to the 2005 Interim Constitution. It was agreed by the Council of Ministers, and due to be passed by the South Sudan Legislative Assembly.
If passed, the new Constitution will be reviewed, in the future, by a representative National Constitutional Review Commission. This will involve a national consultation, gathering views from communities and stakeholders across the country.
The main body of laws is already in place, but some new legislation will be enacted. Priorities include a law on nationality and citizenship, and the Central Bank and financial institutions.
What will happen to South Sudan’s Government and institutions?
South Sudan is not starting from scratch. For the past six years, the Government of South Sudan (GOSS) has enjoyed considerable autonomy, with an elected Assembly, Government and a functioning judicial system.
There are also several independent commissions, for example, on Human Rights, Anti- Corruption and Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration (DDR).
Administrative structures and elected Governors also exist in the ten States, at the State, County and Payam levels, as part of a decentralisation policy.
The Government will continue to strengthen core government functions and service delivery over time with the support of the international community.
The Official working language of the Government will change from English and Arabic to only
English, though all indigenous languages of South Sudan will be respected and promoted. South Sudan will remain a secular state.
Southern Sudanese Assembly members currently in the Government of National Unity in Khartoum will leave their posts and join the South Sudan Legislative Assembly in Juba.
Southern Sudanese civil servants will also return and be absorbed into other institutions, especially at the local government level.
Will there be new elections?
Not immediately. The next cycle of national elections will be held after the President, the National Assembly, State Governors and State Assemblies, which were elected in April 2010, have completed their terms. This is provided for in the new Transitional Constitution.
A National Elections Commission will also be established, an electoral system chosen and electoral legislation devised. A new population Census may also be carried out.
What happens to the nationality and citizenship of the Sudanese people?
Under the new Nationality Act, the Government of South Sudan will accept the right of people to have dual citizenship. This includes people from Sudan (North Sudan), who may acquire citizenship by naturalization, as prescribed by law. The Government expects its partners in the North to do the same.
The Government is committed to the concept of soft borders with the North, allowing freedom of movement for pastoralists and traders who regularly traverse the North-South boundaries.
The Republic of South Sudan will welcome and help settle Southern Sudanese who wish to return from the North.
South Sudan will recognize all legally-acquired property rights and land ownership.
South Sudan will respect the rights of all people living in its territory from diverse ethnic, cultural, linguistic, religious and racial backgrounds, as per the Transitional Constitution, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the African Charter. Respect for these rights will be monitored by the Independent Commission on Human Rights, supported by civil society and a liberal media environment.
Is there a new national strategy for South Sudan?
Yes, there is a new South Sudan Development Plan (SSDP) to span the next three years, which will be a foundation for further planning and implementation.
The SSDP is divided into four pillars – governance, economic development, social development and security. Its aim is to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life for all, strengthen governance and the rule of law, create a viable economy and solidify security.
The plan builds on achievements since 2005 in many areas, such as the establishment of a governing administration and basic infrastructure, and improved access to health, education and food security.
A key element of the plan is to develop the agricultural base and encourage investment from the private sector, taking advantage of the vast resources in South Sudan for the good of its people.
‘Vision 2040’ is
also being developed as a longer term strategy. What will be the relationship between South Sudan and Sudan (North Sudan)?
South Sudan will continue to work together with Sudan (North Sudan), as two independent and sovereign states. The two countries have common economic interests, a shared responsibility for security, and strong ethnic and cultural ties.
The Government is committed to peaceful cooperation on issues such as the movement of civilians between north and south, security, trade and other areas.
Other matters will continue to be negotiated such as border demarcation and collaboration in the oil sector.
What about unresolved issues in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement?
Some critical issues in the CPA remain unresolved such as the final status of Abyei, arrangements for the states of Southern Kordofan and Blue Nile and the demarcation of the North/South Border.
These issues are still subject to negotiation, with the support of international mediators such as the African Union High Implementation Panel.
What will be the approach to security issues?
The Government will take all possible steps to protect and build security for the people of South Sudan, and continue to address the roots of conflict through dialogue and peace-building processes.
South Sudan will join regional security mechanisms and contribute to cross-border & regional stability.
The respect of existing protocols and agreements under the CPA is the combined responsibility of both South and North governments and all other parties to such accords.
The Sudan People’s Liberation Army is being transformed into the South Sudan Armed Forces, with the mission of protecting the people of South Sudan and securing its territorial integrity. The Army will be subordinate to civilian authority and act in accordance with the Transitional Constitution.
The policy is to integrate all factions into the SPLA into a programme of training and reforms. A reinforced DDR strategy is also planned.

While some have since been taken off the list, several others have been hit with their own outbreaks in recent weeks.” “Health-care practitioners say it is not just the spike in cases that is a concern. While officials scramble to contain the outbreaks in Ontario, an infectious-bacteria expert is warning that hospitals are going about tackling the problem the wrong way.” “C. difficile is one of the most common infections in hospitals and long-term-care homes. Antibiotics make the elderly in particular susceptible to the infection, because they kill off so-called good bacteria. But weaning the health-care system off the ubiquitous use of antibiotics would require a sea change in practices. About 200 people in Ontario die every year from C. difficile, which causes severe diarrhea and travels from person to person through hand contact.”

The Lord showed Daniel that this last world empire would be a revived Roman Empire, which has nothing to do with the United States. The only role the United States will play is to help bring on this last world empire when she collapses. One of the sure signs the great American business engine is dying out is the number of people who are losing their jobs each and every month. “The number of new people filing jobless claims fell more than expected over the past week while the private sector created jobs at a far faster pace than anticipated, separate reports showed Thursday. Though still stubbornly high, weekly jobless claims dropped 11,000 to 418,000 over the past week, more than an expected 3,000 drop.”
Do a Google search on the number of times since 2008, I warned you that hundreds of thousands of Americans would continue to lose their jobs every month. One of the reasons I gave you those warnings was to prepare you for a very rough ride. While your government continues to tell you the U.S. is in a recovery mode the stats on the number of Americans losing their jobs keeps getting worse. You saw 418,000 in July so far, in June the news showed us that “The loss of 467,000 jobs reported by the Labor Department on Thursday was 100,000 more than Wall Street economists had expected, with virtually no major economic sector spared.” “In May, the number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks and over) increased by 361,000 to 6.2 million; their share of unemployment increased to 45.1 percent.”
For those of you who do not know Bible prophecy, the United States is not given one sentence in the Book of Daniel. This is the book that God gives us a complete listing of all the world empires from the time Daniel was alive all the way up to Jesus’ second coming. We see Jesus coming the first time when the Roman Empire was ruling and Christ showed us that when He returns the second time, He again will face off with a revived Roman Empire, but this time Jesus will come a King of Kings to defeat the Antichrist’s kingdom.
The news from MarketWatch adds proof to what I am warning you about. There is no question the US is declining in power to make way for the last world empire. I quote, “In London last week some smart businessmen launched the country’s first gold ATM. Stick in your credit card or some cash, and the machine will swap your plastic or paper money for a small bar of the real stuff. That may well tell us that London remains, as it always has been, a place where monetary entrepreneurs flourish. But it tells us something else as well. The role of money in the global economy is one of the big themes of this decade. Gold is on the up. The euro is falling apart. And, perhaps most importantly of all, the dollar /quotes/zigman/1652083 DXY -0.11% is in long-term decline. The crisis in the euro zone may have distracted our attention from it for a while, but the relentless dethroning of U.S. currency the dollar as a global reserves currency is proceeding apace. Data released by the International Monetary Fund showed the percentage of dollars held by central banks in their reserves is still declining year on year. And a UBS survey of investment institutions with $8 trillion under management showed a majority no longer think the dollar will be the reserve currency in 25 years time. This is the bottom line. whatever currency replaces the US dollar it will be one that helps pave the way for the Antichrist’s kingdom.
Prophecy Sign: Jesus Christ warned us in Matthew 24:7 that we would see wars and famines. In the Book of Revelation Jesus also shows us droughts, intense heat, starvation, and the lack of drinking water. Current news from Africa shows the birth pains of the last days are in fact upon us. The situation has gotten so bad in Somalia that that their has been a huge exodus of Somalis leaving the area to search for food. “An estimated 12 million people in the Horn of Africa have been hit by this year's drought.” “Its effects have been compounded by the violence in Somalia, which has been racked by constant war for more than 20 years – its last functioning national government was toppled in 1991”. I have only given you the highlights of this report, but one thing is very clear, Jesus’ warnings are 100% correct.
In yet another report issued by the BBC it was reported that, “Millions of people in the Horn of Africa are facing severe shortages of food as the worst drought in the region for six decades withers crops and kills livestock, as the BBC's world affairs correspondent Mike Wooldridge reports.”
Prophecy Sign: The Prophet Zechariah was told by God that in the last days all the nations would come against Israel. If you have been watching the news you would have stopped the rise in anti-Semitism toward the Jewish nation. Here is one example. “In the past few years, foreign interest in the widespread anti-Israelism among the Norwegian elite and the corresponding anti-Semitism in Norwegian society have increased. Up until last month, there were no official statistics to back this information up. This enabled the Norwegian government and media to deny the hate-inciting reality, while trying to demonize those who dared to tell the truth. Last month’s publication of a study ordered by the Oslo municipality on racism and anti-Semitism among students of the 8th through 10th grades in the town’s schools came as a shock. The study found that 33 percent of the Jewish students regularly experience bullying at school. According to the definition used, this means that at least two or three incidents of verbal or physical abuse target these Jewish students per month.”

Prophecy Sign: Better read Jesus warning again in Luke 21:11 where He tells all of us, in the last days there will be "great earthquakes". "There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven." Here is another one of those quakes. "7.8 quake off Kermadec Islands New ZealandA powerful 7.8 earthquake has struck off the Kermadec Islands. There has been a tsunami advisory warning issued but Civil Defence New Zealand says it is still assessing the risk. It says in the meantime people should stay away from the coastline."

Prophecy Sign: In my up-dated book, “The Last Chronicles of Planet Earth” I give you details on the connection between all the weird weather, and Revelation 6:6 where Jesus shows us people living during the seven year tribulation will be working all day long for one very small meal. The sub-title to a news report from Canada reads like this, “Record floods inundate farms causing billions in damage to crops and property”. All over the world we are witnessing crops being destroyed as a result of high winds, floods, and intense heat. When you know what life is going to be like during the tribulation you should understand how extreme the weather is going to be, and the events we are now witnessing are nothing compared to what is coming. One positive aspect about the news of crop destruction is this, people are finally beginning to understand something is very different about our world now! There are more Christians warning people we are in the last days, and the news showing us all the crop destruction is actually helping people seek for answers to why these events are taking place.
“What lay behind this spring's ferocious flooding along Quebec's Richelieu River seems simple enough to pin down: Blame the highest water levels in recorded history for Lake Champlain, which feeds into the river. Much harder to gauge, however, are answers to a more far-reaching question: How will more frequent bouts of such extreme weather — phenomena scientists acknowledge are increasing in frequency — hurt agriculture and possibly our food chain? And what can farmers do to adapt? On May 6, the lake peaked at 31.5 metres above sea level, almost one metre above its flood stage, the point at which water overflow begins to cause damage.”
“Flooding in Manitoba has so far caused $1 billion in agricultural losses, officials say, with 1.2 million hectares soaked. Saskatchewan is still tallying the latest devastation.” Guay said her hope for the future, and agriculture's hope as well, lies in continued development of hybrids. "Without hybrids, without genetic engineering, the yields would be 30% less," she said: "No agriculture, no food."
I can assure everyone right now that it won’t matter what the scientists come up with, the weather that is coming will kill off anything that the scientists can create from genetic engineering. What this world hasn’t even seen yet is the perfect weather conditions for the insects that are coming to wipe out the food chain. We are just in the beginning stages of these events. When Jesus warned you that people would work all day long for a small meal, He wasn’t giving you facts about something that may happen. Christ is telling you what you will be facing if you do not receive Him as your Lord. Only the people who refuse Christ’s salvation will end up in the tribulation. Today we read news that flooding has caused $1 billion in agricultural losses in one area. In the near future there will be news informing you that most of the food around the world has been destroyed. Maybe then you will come to grips with the fact that you should have believed what Christ warned you about this matters?
Prophecy Sign: Matthew 24:7 is the sign of many earthquakes.

Source: Herald Sun”. “A POWERFUL earthquake struck New Zealand's North Island today but there are no immediate reports of casualties or damage and no tsunami warning was issued. The US Geological Survey reported the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.3 and occurred at a depth of 161km. Another agency in New Zealand, GeoNet, measured the earthquake at magnitude-6.5. The epicenter was about 72km southwest of Rotorua and shaking could be felt as far away as central Wellington”.

During the last week in June, 2011 to July 1, 2011 chaos broke out in Greece over budget cuts. The HAARETZ.com reported, “Riot police have clashed with demonstrators in Athens as the Greek government prepares to vote on $40 billion worth of spending cuts and tough austerity measures. “Earlier, nearly 10,000 demonstrators marched to the parliament and more than 5,000 police officers were deployed in the centre of Athens” (July 1, 2011). During this same week ships docked in Greece were getting ready to steam toward the Gaza Stripe to face off with Israel. The HAARETZ.com reported the following: “The ship "Stefano Chiarini", due to set sail to Gaza from Greece, in Corfu July 1, 2011.” “The flotilla of boats planning to challenge Israel's naval blockade of the Gaza Strip will set sail next week, a spokeswoman said on Friday, after repeated delays that activists blame on Israeli sabotage. "Israel is doing its very, very best to make sure we don't get out of port," spokeswoman Greta Berlin said, speaking by telephone from Greece where some of the ships are moored.” “Israel says its blockade of Gaza is aimed at stopping weapons from reaching the enclave's rulers, Hamas — an Islamist group which is branded a terrorist organization by the West” (July 1, 2011). Are the timing of these events another one of those coincidences? The answer to this question is no. The pattern continues, some form of disaster strikes at the heart of those who come against Israel.
“THE global economy is facing ''a slow-motion train wreck'' with Greece only the first nation to be hit, Reserve Bank director Warwick McKibbin has told a Melbourne conference. Referring to the most recent global economic crisis as a mere ''blip'', he said the coming crisis could undo the mining boom and bring on inflation of the kind not seen since the 1970s. Professor McKibbin told the Melbourne Institute conference dozens of European countries now had gross government debts on track to exceed 60 per cent of GDP. ''Japan is forecast to be 200 per cent of GDP, the US is forecast to be over 100 per cent of GDP,'' he said.”
Prophecy Sign: Events leading to the fulfillment of Revelation 13:15-17, the rise of the Antichrist. “(AP) — With Minnesota's state government closed for business, the focus shifted Friday to who's to blame.” “Though nearly all states are having severe budget problems this year, Minnesota stands as the only government to have shut down, thanks to Dayton's determination to raise taxes on high-earners to close a $5 billion deficit and the Republican Legislature's refusal to go along. The shutdown would be Minnesota's second in six years as the partisan divide deepens. Here, as in 21 other states, there's no way to keep government operating past the end of a budget period without legislative action, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. Even so, only four other states — Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Tennessee — have had shutdowns in the past decade, some lasting mere hours.
Prophecy Sign: Daniel 12:4 gives specific signs telling us what generation would see the Lord’s second coming. One of those signs is our generation would increase in knowledge. Another major prophecy for our generation is found in Revelation 13:15-17 where Jesus shows us the Antichrist will control the world by putting his mark in the skin. “A new generation of battery-free surveillance devices which can be implanted under the skin and transmit over huge distances via wireless have been developed by scientists. Researchers are working on nano machines that could be injected into the arms of patients and then report back to doctors who are monitoring them from miles away. They would be powered by the motion of a person walking, or even the pulse of a blood vessel, so would never stop working until the person died. Law enforcement officials have for years used ankle bracelets to monitor criminals. Now scientists have developed a new generation of battery-free surveillance devices that can be implanted under the skin The technology could also be used in CCTV cameras attached to small flying craft which use their own motion to power themselves. Such devices could be used by hospitals to locate patients or perhaps check if they are following their treatment plan.”

Sky watchers have been flooding internet forums with speculation about the burst, filmed by a webcam mounted on the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope on Mauna Kea. “Negotiators will need to reach agreement on raising the U.S. debt limit no later than July 22 so that legislation can get passed in time to stave off a default on U.S. debt, two Democratic officials familiar with the talks said. The Senate yesterday canceled its July 4 recess to remain in session next week during debt-limit talks after President Barack Obama a day earlier called on Congress to stop taking vacations while the debt-ceiling talks are unresolved.”
