Prophecy Sign: A few days ago I explained to you how Psalms 83 has not been fulfilled yet. I gave you evidence that most of the nations listed to attack Israel in Psalms 83 have recently come up with their own peace plans. I also showed you that most of the plans put on the table just about say the same things.  They all want to divide Israel and give East Jerusalem to the Arabs.  I explained how the peace and safety prophecy given to us by Paul ends up with sudden destruction.  What was the sudden destruction?  It is an attack on the nation Israel because they would not cave in on all the Arabs demands.  If you want to know what is going to happen in the very near future just keep your eyes on this peace process.  It will probably fail soon and when it does you can expect war to follow shortly after.  The nations we see in Psalms 83 are the Palestinians, Syrians, Saudi Arabians, Lebanese, Egyptians, Jordanians, and all their associated terrorist allies such as Hamas.  Can we really see the handwriting on the wall?  If you are keeping on the watch as Jesus asked us to you can see it!  Here is a good example in a report entitled “King Abdullah in Mid-East warning” I quote, “King Abdullah of Jordan has warned that failure to reach an agreement for peace in the Middle East will result in a new conflict within 12-18 months. In comments to the UK newspaper The Times, he said the US was finalizing an ambitious "57-state solution" for peace that he is helping to prepare. The king said the plan would include proposals to settle Israel's disputes with Syria and Lebanon.   Notice both Syria and Lebanon are also mentioned in that report by the king.  These are two other nations mentioned in the Psalms attack on Israel.

During this generation we also see Paul’s warning coming true as the Pope travels to Israel to tell the leaders of Israel to divide their state up. I quote, ”Pope Benedict arrived in Israel on Monday and called for a two-state solution to its conflict with the Palestinians, a reassertion of Vatican policy that is at odds with the new Israeli government. "I plead with all those responsible to explore every possible avenue in the search for a just resolution of the outstanding difficulties, so that both peoples may live in peace in a homeland of their own, within secure and internationally recognized borders," he said in a speech at Tel Aviv's airport.-He called for free access to Jerusalem for people from all the religions with holy sites in the city. "One thing that the three great monotheistic religions have in common is a special veneration for that holy city," he said, referring to Christianity, Islam and Judaism.”  This news was also reported on the national news last night on ABC.  I wish someone had the smarts to ask the Pope why are you trying to divide up Israel when the Lord said He would destroy anyone who divides the nation of Israel?  No real believer of Christ would ever go against what God has written.  I talked about this yesterday but everyone should keep on the watch for false prophets.  If the Pope is pushing to divide Israel, the Pope has fallen under God’s curse found in Genesis chapter 12.

The other nation also mentioned in the Psalms is Egypt.  There to are in the news again and guess why? Egypt’s king is in the midst of the Arab-Israeli peace talks. “US President Barack Obama's choice of Egypt as his podium to deliver a message to Arabs and Muslims next month is expected to give a strong boost to Cairo's regional role, particularly in its efforts to solve the Arab-Israeli peace talks.

I asked you about 3 weeks ago to watch the Middle East news because you are going to hear a great deal about these peace talks.  The U.S. is going to get involved deeper than they are now and it will only add to the burdens of America. Why am I saying that?  Because the Lord showed the Prophet Zechariah anyone burdening themselves with Jerusalem during the end times will be cut into pieces.  What does that mean?  It is not good news for the U.S.A.  What can America expect she will continue to decline as a power and end up in a much worse economic crisis them she is right now.   America’s news wants you believe that things are looking better.  They site that this month only 550,000 people got laid off this month and they call that doing better?  I guess it was better than last month when close to 600,000 lost their jobs.  If you leave in another nation you better be concerned because when America goes down the entire world will be effected.

There was a secret that was exposed today that had to do with the control of Jerusalem.  It is news that shows us Israel has not intention of giving up their Holy City of Jerusalem and this will be a series blow to the peace process. I quote, “An Israeli government plan to develop parks, hiking trails and tourist sites in east Jerusalem will permanently change the landscape of the contested city and cement Israel's hold there, an Israeli group charged in a report released Sunday ahead of the pope's visit to the city. The government has undertaken an ambitious eight-year plan that will dramatically alter the "holy basin" — the sensitive area in and around the Old City that is home to sites holy to Jews, Christians and Muslims, according to the group, Ir Amim, which works for coexistence in Jerusalem. The government has largely kept the plan secret, not soliciting input from the city's Christians and Muslims or opening it to objections from the public, the group charges.”  Israel had to keep this under wraps, they know what is going to happen once the Arabs realize the new leadership in Israel has no plans of turn part of Israel over to his enemies.  Paul calls this “sudden destruction”, Jesus, David in the Psalms, call it the signs of war!

Ezekiel warned us of another Muslim alliance that would form in the last days and these nations would also try to destroy Israel as the other nations tried.  This alliance will of course be lead by the Russians.  Iran is one of Russia’s closest allies.  The Lord showed Ezekiel Iran would be a major player in the attack against Israel.  Every week we see the words of war between Israel and Iran all over the news.  Here is one such example. “Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said on Sunday that Israel does not have the military capability of attacking his country. He also said that he did not think the U.S. would consider an attack either. Qashqavi claimed that Iran's nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only, and that countries should focus on Israel's nuclear arsenal which poses a greater threat.”  There are two things of great importance in this news report.  First we keep seeing threats of war between Israel and Iran and second, we see the talk about nuclear weapons.  If you haven’t read chapter 39 of Ezekiel’s prophecy you had better take a look at it because you will see the description of what appears to be the after effects of a nuclear war.

This week Iran has tried to build a case that Israel has nuclear weapons. “Iran says Israel's undeclared arsenal of approximately 200 atomic warheads is the only obstacle in the way of a nuclear-free zone in the Middle East. In a Monday address to the third session of the preparatory committee for the 2010 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference in New York, Iranian delegates hit out at the lack of world action on Israel's possession of atomic nuclear weapons-which can be launched from land, sea and air.-"Israel's nuclear arsenal represents the single greatest threat to countries in the region," said the delegates, while criticizing the West's hands-off approach to Tel Aviv's development of nuclear weaponry.”  Are these the weapons God showed Ezekiel that will be used during the Ezekiel war?  I would say by the description they are!

Ezekiel see a ball of fire and people body part melting away from their flesh.  Ezekiel didn’t have the modern day words for this type of warfare but our generation knows exactly what it means.

How let’s toss in what Isaiah 17:1 warned us.  What is this?  It is a warning that in the last days Syria will be destroyed.  As you can see from Psalms 83 Syria is also mentioned as one of the nation attacking Israel.  This is when Syria and the great city called Damascus will be wiped out.  Do you think that it is a coincidence that Iran and Syria are talking about the creation of a New World Order?  The leader of Iran and Syria has already made plans to attack Israel.  You hear it from Iran’s leader all the time. How many times in the past year has Ahmadinejad said he is going to wipe Israel off the face of the map?  Every time Iran said it, Israel has taken the threats to heart.  About 2 weeks ago Assad warned he would take back the land lost in a previous war either by peace or war!  Here is a short look at what the news said about these nations. “Ahmadinejad underlined that the current world situation was not in benefit of the bullying powers, especially the US, -US statesmen were facing a contradiction, because, on one hand they wanted to protect and save the Zionist regime and on the other hand they need Iran and Syria. President Al-Assad, for his part, underlined the necessity of support for resistance and noted that the US stance on Palestine, Syria and the other occupied territories had not changed deeply, because they were directed by the Zionist lobby.-quadlateral cooperation between IRAN, SYRIA, IRAQ and TURKEY would be beneficial and strategic for nations of the region.”

Prophecy Sign: Matthew 24:7 warns us about the sign of wars and rumors of war.  Jesus also told us to watch for civil wars that will begin to spring up.  As you can see from the above reports the rumors of a coming war in the Middle East are everywhere. Now let me show you an example a war that has already broken out and is intensifying.   This is a civil war between the people living in Sri Lanka. “The United Nations condemned a "bloodbath" in Sri Lanka's northern war zone Monday after two days of shelling that a government doctor said killed as many as 1,000 ethnic Tamil civilians, including 106 children. -Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and other rights groups called on Japan, the largest international donor to Sri Lanka, to press the UN Security Council to urgently address the civil war here.”

Prophecy Sign: Zechariah 12:3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.” I have been warning you that the United States one of Israel strongest allies has turned her back on Israel as of late!  We see the tensions growing between the U.S. and Israel.  It has gotten so bad that the U.S. isn’t keeping Israel informed as to what their enemies are up to, namely Iran. I quote, “Unlike the Bush administration, the staff of President Obama is not coordinating its policy on Iran or the greater Middle East with Israel and has not been informing the Jewish state of its plans or recent diplomatic developments in area, according to sources in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office. The silence extends to U.S. talks with the Palestinians, the sources said. "Our intention and our hope as we go to Washington is to establish close intimate cooperative relationships on these sensitive matters," a top Netanyahu official told WND yesterday.” One by one Isreal’s friends are turning their back on them. What we see taking place is the beginning of all the nations coming against Israel.  All these prophecies are taking place at the same time and this is exactly what was suppose to happen. "So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.  When I SAY to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.  Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul” Ezekiel 33:7-9.   I'm calling this a Rapture Alert because through events that we see taking place in both the Middle East right now and also because we are seeing the foreshadows of the opening of the Seal Judgments as discussed in yesterday's updates, God is speaking to all of us, if we will just listen, that His judgment is coming very soon!  I believe the lines will be drawn on a determination on how to bring the Mideast conflict to an end and it doesn't look like Israel is going to have an easy go from this point on.  As a matter of fact, it looks as if the United States is going to abandon them completely in favor of winning approval from the Arab nations.  After all, we need their oil and money to keep operating as a nation.  Peace is the theme of the day these days.  It's what everybody wants and the only way they are going to get it – they think – is to go to war with Israel and try to just take their land away from them.  Next week when Netanyahu comes to the United States to meet with the Obama administration; I believe that we are going to see a clash between the Americans and the Israelis.  We already know the outcome of whatever is going to be taking place.  This is the best part about knowing what prophecy has to say about these matters.

We already know what the future holds in advance.  The scriptures are very clear that later on there is going to be a large invasion from the north led by Russia to try and take Jerusalem by force.  This means, of course, that Netanyahu is going to stand by his convictions and not agree to the land for peace deal that the world is offering them.  It will be most interesting to see what the new Mideast peace plan that the United States, United Nations, Russia and the European Union is going to offer Israel sometime in June.  It will be interesting to see if there is any hint of a 7 year peace covenant offered.  It may not be time for that yet however,  this might be something that the Antichrist will offer when he shows up.  But we'll keep our eyes open for this anyways.  The following verses will give you a good understanding about the passion that God has for His people and His land.  Israel's enemies would do well to read and take heed to what these words have to say.  “For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.  For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.  For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer” (Isaiah 54:5-8).

Continuing on with the peace and safety I want to give you a RAPTURE ALERT:  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-5:4).

Ezekiel 33 tells us to sound the trumpet when we see the sword of God coming.  It's coming.  It's on it's way.  The sword is God's judgement and it's coming and so therefore we are sounding the trumpet out of obedience to God and His word.  Notice in the verses above that the Rapture is tied in directly with the call to peace and safety.  Peace and safety in the Mideast is the central theme in world events today.  And just as peace and safety is the central theme in world events – so it is also the central theme in this verse.  Peace and safety is surrounded by the Rapture verses.  This is not a coincidence.  This is a clue from God that it is near.  We don't know the time or the hour but we will know that it is near by the signs that He gave us, just as we've been discussing here lately.  I have a feeling that the destruction talked about in this verse is going to be devastating.  Might this judgement be the final blow to the world system as we know it as a result of the Rapture of the church?  Can you imagine the devastation that will be caused when millions of people suddenly vanish?  Is this what God is telling us here?  I have a feeling it is.  Why else would He tie these two events together in these verses.  Please take a few minutes and bow your heads and ask God to spare you from His judgement that is coming.  Spare yourself from the sword – the judgement of God.  Don't be left behind when the Rapture of the church takes place.  Please ask God to forgive you of your sins if you haven't already done so.  But remember something important here.  It's not just the words you say but it's the attitude of your heart that determines if you really mean it or not.  If you need help with this then send an email here and you will be given guidance on what to do.  Don't put if off.  Eternity is forever and you want to make sure you spend it in heaven.

Prophecy Sign: Many of you who have been coming to my site would know that there are only a few unfilled prophecies left to be fulfilled before the 7 year tribulation begins. I have explained both of those prophecies for you.  If you are new to my site you should know that Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah chapter 49 speak to us about the destruction of Syria and their Capital Damascus.  This will happen as a result of the war which we find in Psalm 83 of which Syria is mentioned.  Take a look and you will see that all the nations that come against Israel are Muslim nations.  When is this war going to happen?  What we are to be looking for is given to us in  1 Thessalonians 5:3 “While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” If you read from Friday April 8, 2009 you would see how I tied the call of peace and safety to this war.  However, if you are new you need to know that while Israel is calling for peace and safety war will come upon them. Most of the world will think Israel will be defeated but they are going to be surprised when Israel ends up winning the war.  This war will lead to the Ezekiel war given to us in Ezekiel chapter 38-39.  Once again it will be the Muslim nations who come against Israel.  When the world watches this war unfold they will believe as they did with the first war that Israel won’t have a chance to win.

The Ezekiel war will have twice as many Muslim nations attacking Israel as the Psalms 83 war, plus they will have Russia leading the attack.  What we see developing in the Middle East today is leading up to the fulfillment of both these prophecies.  Many have asked why is Germany listed in the Ezekiel war?  Most of you don’t realize how the world is changing. The Muslim population is growing so fast that soon they will over run just about every nation on this planet.  When you read chapter 10 of my book you will see Germany has already started to be over run with Muslims.  What everyone who is not a Christian should understand is this, when Jesus raptures His Church out of the Earth Satan will be able to step right in and form the last days false Church. By the time the end of the tribulation comes almost every nation on this planet will have been over run by the Muslims. At the end of the 7 years the Antichrist will move against the Jews again in one more attempt to finish off God’s chosen people.  Anyone who has read the book of Revelation knows how it all ends.  Jesus comes back to Earth and wipes out all the people who have invaded Jerusalem.

The process for all these events is already underway.  The calls for the peace and safety are heard everyday in the news.  We are even seeing many reports where some of the nations listed in Psalms 83 are talking about invading Israel if the peace talks fail.  These are all signs we aren’t far away from fulfilling the last few unfulfilled prophecies.  Over the course of the next few years you will see how fast the Muslims are going to influence the entire world.

Here is some proof that Paul warning about the call for peace and safety is taking place in this generation.  As I mentioned in my Friday’s post the Pope is in Israel pushing for a two state Israel.  “TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) – Pope Benedict XVI called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian homeland immediately after he arrived in Israel Monday, a stance that could put him at odds with his hosts on a trip aimed at easing strains between the Vatican and Jews.” “While Benedict's support for a Palestinian homeland alongside Israel is widely shared by the international community, including the United States, it was noteworthy that he made the call in his first public appearance. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, leader of the hard-line Likud Party, has pointedly refused to endorse the two-state solution since his election. But he is expected to come under pressure to do so when he travels to Washington next week.”  Let me ask you a question.  The Pope is supposed to be a man of God. He is supposed to know what the Word of God states.  Why in the World would the Pope try and divide God’s chosen land?  What he is working for is against everything the Lord teaches us.  If he has chosen to go against God and His Word, it should tell you something.  If he is not working for God and spreading what the Word really teaches, who is he following?  The Bible makes it clear. Ready what Jesus said in  Matt. 12:30. “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” This brings me to a very important question I have to ask you. If you are one of the Popes followers and you now know what he is doing opposes God will you turn away from the Pope and turn to Christ and follow what He says?  One of the warnings Jesus told us to look out for is men who are false teachers. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world” 1 John 4:1. The only way we can tell who is a true or false prophet is by what they are teaching. If they are teaching doctrine that says the opposite of what the Bible says, you will know they are false prophets.  Since Jesus told us the false church will be based in Rome, this news should send the red flags waving for all to see.

We can see from the current news that the peace talks are headed for trouble. “Israeli president Shimon Peres' task in Washington on May 4-5 is to blunt the sharp edge the White House is honing to force Israel to toe the new Washington line on the Palestinians, Syria and Iran. Prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu can expect the full force of a bludgeon to be wielded in his White House talks on May 18. DEBKAfile's Washington sources report that their host is fired up to be the first US president in decades of close friendship and cooperation to clash openly with Israel and the bulk of US Jewry. Oblivious to Israel's claim of US support for its security in a hostile regional environment, Barack Obama is expected to squeeze the Netanyahu government hard for immediate engagement on the Middle East conflict without further delay.”  As I said, trouble is brewing for Israel when it comes to the peace talks. Watcht the news and you will see how every nation is going to demand Israel divide up Israel into two parts.

Ezekiel 33:1-9 is current day prophecy sing: "And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, 'If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people, then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.   He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life.  But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.  Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them warning from Me.  When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand.  But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his way and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your life."

The purpose of the signs that Jesus told us to watch for are for the benefit of both the lost and the saved alike.  For those of us who are saved, signs offer us hope and encouragement that Jesus is coming soon to take us away from this world.  For the lost; the signs are God's "wake-up call" to communicate to those of you who don't know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior yet that NOW is the time of salvation.  Not tomorrow – today!  This is what this site is all about.  You can read how current events are lining up and taking place exactly as it was written in God's Word thousands of years ago and how they are now being fulfilled; but it's each of our responsibilities to respond accordingly to the signs and warnings given depending on our current standing with God.  If we have been truly saved by our confession that Jesus is who He said He is and have repented of our sins and asked Him to enter our lives and hearts then these signs offer us encouragement to keep on doing His work with renewed energy and urgency.  We are to spread the Gospel to those around us and give those around us the opportunity to hear the Good News of salvation.  But for those of you who don't know Jesus in this way yet then it is now time to act and get your lives right with God.  This is what the above scriptures are saying to us.  We believers are the watchmen.  And according to the above scripture, we watchmen will see the sword coming and it's our responsibility to sound the trumpet and give warning that judgement is coming.  And just how will we see the sword coming?  We will see the sword coming through the fulfillment of the signs that Jesus gave us to watch for as they relate to child birth.

"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.  But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs." – Matthew 24:7,8.  There are those who say that we have always had wars and famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world and this is very true.  And according to the Word of God, these are the beginning of birth pangs.  So why are things any different now than what they have been for the last few decades.  What makes these signs different now than what they have been is the fact that for the first time in our history are they all been present at the same time and on a global scale.  And the one event that has led to the growing worldwide famine is the financial collapse of the world economies.  Through all of the world tragedies taking place now, we are seeing the emergence of a New World Order (NWO).  Never before have we heard of a New World Order before.  Through the swine flu disease that has now spread throughout the world, we are witnessing the emergence of the World Health Organization (WHO) as the agency in charge of controlling the world response to this disease.  So the evidence is showing us quite clearly that these signs – or birth pangs – have progressed from where they have always been previously.

And finally, I would like to quote some verses out of the book of Revelation, which have to deal with the unsealing of the first four judgements of the approaching tribulation period.  "1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.  2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.  3And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.  4And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.  5And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.  6And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. 7And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.  8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."

The first seal will be the appearance of the Antichrist.  He will appear on the world scene to bring peace to the Middle East and also solve all the other world problems.  He will fix the world economic trouble that the world now finds itself entangled with.  The stage is now set for his appearance.  The next three seals have to do with war, famine and death/disease.  It is urgent that you understand the significance of the seal judgements.  They will be much more intense and much more terrible than what we are seeing now.  The tribulation is the last seven years of life as we know it on earth and these seal judgements that will be taking place during that time will be God's wrath being poured out on an unbelieving world.  We are now witnessing the foreshadowing of the opening of the seals.  And what we are seeing now is evidence that the birth of the tribulation is just moments away.  I believe that wartime during this period will include nuclear warheads; that famine will affect everybody in the world except for the wealthy elite regardless of previous or social standing; and I also believe that disease will spread like wildfire around the world.  Death in the fourth seal refers to disease, which is why the color of the horse is pale.  I believe these statements to be true because the tribulation will magnify many times over what we have ever seen before.  The sword of God's judgement is coming so consider this a trumpet blast.

Prophesy Sign:  Israel is God's timepiece for end-time events.  What this means is that the closer we see the end-game approaching to the Middle East conflict with Israel and the Palestinians, the closer we know we are getting to the appearance of the Antichrist.  We read in Daniel 9:27 that the Antichrist will confirm a peace covenant for 7 years between Israel and the Palestinians.  "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."   The Israeli and Palestinian conflict dates all the way back to biblical times.  Throughout the centuries there have been many attempts to bring peace to this part of the world both by force and also by negotiations.  Here we are over thousands of years later and it is only now that we see that a solution is coming soon.  But the final 7 year covenant signing will first be preceded by a terrible war that will kill millions as the enemies of Israel try to overtake Jerusalem by force.

As you have read earlier in my post the United States and the Muslim nations are pressuring Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government to surrender East Jerusalem and vacate the Golan Heights and the West Bank so that the Palestinians can settle these areas with Jerusalem as the capital of both the Jews and Palestinians.  Israel is not going to give in to this pressure and you can be sure that this is going to lead to a nuclear war.  Isaiah 17 describes this perfectly.  "The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.  The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts."  (versus 1,2,3)  The chapter then goes on to say that right after the destruction of Damascus takes place then the invasion of Israel that is described here and also in the book of Ezekiel will take place.  " Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!  The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.  And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us."  Isaiah 17:12-14.  Foreshadows of this short war between Syria and Israel are evident right now.  Just watching the last couple of weeks, Syria said they will take the Golan Heights and they will use any means possible for that to happen.  Israel is saying they won't let them have it because it would be a serious security threat to the very existence to the survival of Israel as a nation.  With Syria taking over the Golan Heights, this would put every inch of Israel within easy range of future attacks by the Palestinians.  They simply can't allow this.  In today's edition of the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Prime Minister Netanyahu had the following to say regarding this issue:  "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a group of Russian-language reporters Thursday that Israel will never withdraw from the Golan Heights.  Remaining on the Golan will ensure Israel has a strategic advantage in cases of military conflict with Syria," Netanyahu said during a briefing he gave to the reporters.  Notice too, that he said that he is ready to "stand up to U.S. President Barack Obama and that he would not give up on matters that in his opinion are critical to Israel's security."  This is not going to sit well with our present administration and it certainly isn't going to sit well with Syria and the world.  The war drums are beginning to beat.  Isaiah 17:1-3 and the destruction of Damascus is coming soon.  A short history lesson for you.  The city of Damascus has been destroyed before.  You can do a google search and look this up.  But this will be the first time that the city will be destroyed and that it will no longer be able to be inhabited.  Why?  Because Damascus will be destroyed by nuclear weapons.  If it were not so, then, like the Gaza Strip, they could just build it up again as has been done in the past and they're back in business.  Syria has both chemical and biological weapons plants and they will probably use these weapons against Israel which will cause Israel to retaliate with nukes.  Otherwise, because of the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty they wouldn't use them.

We have been hearing a lot about Iran in the last few months.  There has been talk since before Bush left office that we would see Israel attack Iran with or without help from the United States.  The general consensus is that such an attack against Iran would probably not accomplish what it would be intended for without our help.  As reported in the news for the last several weeks, the Obama administration has said that we wouldn't help out with the Iranian threat unless Israel goes along with the peace plan that the world is trying to cram down their throats (paraphrased, but this is a true statement).  In other words, the U.S. is trying to blackmail Israel into this 2 state solution that the world wants.  We may be seeing the tables turned on the U.S. however.  It seems as though we are running out of money and since China isn't buying our debt like they have been, we've been looking for other sources of money from the Arabs in the oil rich gulf regions of Saudi Arabia.  We seemed to have run into a slight snag.  I quote from the DEBKAfile from May 8.  "A secret American delegation was sent by US President Barack Obama this week to solicit Saudi Arabian and other Gulf rulers for hundreds of billions of petro-dollars for investment in US and global economic stimulus plans, DEBKAfile's exclusive Gulf sources report. They came away empty-handed.  The chilly welcome received by the delegation, which met finance ministers and the heads of banks in Riyadh and the five emirates, was generated by wide disapproval of the US president's policy of engagement with Iran. Two other US missions had just been and gone, headed by defense secretary Robert Gates and special adviser to the US secretary of state for South Asia and Gulf affairs, Dennis Ross. Both failed to allay Gulf anger and trepidation over this policy."  So it looks like we may not have a choice but to help out with the Iranian threat.  It appears as though that if we want the continued support – and oil – from these regions then we might just have to cave in ourselves to lending a hand in dealing with Iran.  Interesting that the day after this report came out that another report has revealed that all of a sudden Obama has had a change of heart with his kissing up to Syria and Iran.  Hmmm, I wonder why?

Prophecy Sign: Here we go again. Matthew 24:7 told us we would hear about war and rumors of war. North Korea is up to it again with their nuclear threats. “President Barack Obama's top envoy for North Korea warned of "consequences" if the regime pushes ahead with a threatened atomic test and urged Pyongyang to instead return to dialogue with Washington to defuse nuclear tensions. Stephen Bosworth arrived in Seoul from Beijing just hours after North Korea accused the Obama administration of harboring a hostile policy toward Pyongyang, saying it would expand its nuclear arsenal in response. "Nothing would be expected from the U.S., which remains unchanged in its hostility toward its dialogue partner," North Korea's Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried Friday by state media. The North "will bolster its nuclear deterrent as it has already clarified."  Our world has conflicts all over the place and according to Jesus warning they are about to get much worse.  In one part of Jesus warning, He tells us about the rumors of war however, He also says you will hear about wars.  That can only mean one thing. We are going to start to see more wars break out soon. People want to know where I think the next war will break out? I would focus your attention on the Middle East and here is why.

The Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 told us when war or he calls it “sudden destruction” will come.  Notice he says it will happen at a time when Israel is calling for peace and safety. I quote Paul, “While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. If you have been watching the news lately you have seen the many nations who have come up with their new plans for the Middle East peace talks.  In 2009 the Arabs have come together to revive some older peace plans. “Arab states are revising elements of a 2002 peace plan to encourage Israel to agree to the establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian state, the London-based paper Al-Quds al-Arabi reported Wednesday. “According to the pan-Arab paper, the amendments are also to the framing of a timetable for the normalization of relations between Israel and the Arab world, which the plan offers in exchange for Israel's withdrawal from territory conquered in the 1967 Six Day War” (HAARETZ.com May 7, 2009).  Israel doesn’t like any of these plans and while they are talking peace and safety Israel is still being shelled. Another part of the report stated,  “Just today three mortal shells landed in Israel. Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia cannot vouch for a settled-down Gaza Strip," Yishai said” (Ibid).   Why would Israel even consider giving up land to their enemy when they are being attacked over and over again?  Fact is none of these Arab nations can assure Israel peace.

News about Jordan’s peace plan was released on May 6, 2009 with the headline that read, “Jordan says new approach to Mideast peace emerging”. From this news we learned “Israel, Syria, Lebanon and other Arab nations would sit down together to try to resolve the Middle East conflict under a new “combined approach” currently under discussion with the U.S., Jordan’s king said Wednesday” (Yahho News May 6, 2009).  Another section of this report stated, "We see a very important role that moderate Arab states, countries like Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and others can play in the process, in strengthening the peace process. We believe their more direct involvement in the peace process can be positive and can help energize the process of reconciliation between us and the Palestinians," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.  News out of Philadelphia reported on what Saudi Arabia had to say. “The Saudi government’s official state news agency, the Saudi Press Agency, has reported the Saudi Cabinet issued a strong directive Monday calling for “swift action” to be taken to establish an “independent vibrant Palestinian state.” The Saudi Cabinet summed up statements made by Minister of Culture and Information, Abdul-Aziz Khoja, calling on the United States to “put pressure on Israel” to implement a March 2002 Saudi initiative. The measure would require Israel to expel Jews from East Jerusalem and other areas captured by Israel during the 1967 Six-Day War to make room for an independent Palestinian state” (The Bulletin April 16, 2009).  All these plans want to expel the Jews from their holy city Jerusalem and return land lost in previous wars.  These new peace plans aren’t new at all. All that is happening is the Arabs are recycling the old peace plans that already failed.

Even Syria, one of Israel’s worse foes has come up with a new plan. “Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem said Wednesday his country was willing to resume indirect peace talks with Israel's new government. But he said it would only do so if the talks focused on an Israeli withdrawal from the entire Golan Heights to lines that preceded the 1967 Six Day War. Moallem made the statements during a news conference with Italy's foreign minister. Indirect talks through Turkish mediation broke off after Israel's offensive against Hamas in Gaza started in December” (HAARETZ.com April 10, 2009).

Israel rejected the Syria peace plan 16 days later. News out of Jerusalem told us why they rejected it. “Israel's new government would talk peace with Syria if it dropped preconditions such as an Israeli commitment to return the Golan Heights, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said on Sunday” (Reuters on Yahoo News April 26, 2009).

Let the reader not forget, on April 2, 2009 Assad stated, “We’ll free Golan through peace or war” (Ynetnew.com April 2, 2009).   These are words that will son fulfill Psalm 83.

I think Assad made a profound statement when he was speaking about the“Resistance in Arabs’ interest’”. In the same Ynetnews report Assad said, “There is now a resurgence of the idea of resistance.  Israel is advancing in a direction that goes against its interests, and eventually all people are moving towards resistance, which is certainly in the interest of the Arabs” (Ibid).  If Israel keeps resisting the world’s idea of a peace plan and nothing is signed it will create the road to war and this is what we see taking place in Psalm 83.

Did you notice that I put the names of Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Arabs, and Syria in red bold print above?  There is a good reason for this.  Psalm 83 is an unfulfilled prophecy concerning the very nations I put in bold print. This Psalm shows us these nations are going form an alliance and attack Israel.  This attack I believe will take place just prior to the Ezekiel war found in Ezekiel chapters 38-39. Verse 6 of Psalm 83 mentions some of these nations. Both bible scholars and historians concur that ancient Israel was never confronted by such an elaborate alliance of Arab nations, namely, Ishmaelites, Edom, Ammon, Amalek, Hagarenes, Gebal and the Philistines. Therefore, this prophecy must have an end-time fulfillment. We know for sure the Psalms 83 prophecy is coming up soon.  First of all, we know for a fact Damascus has never been destroyed so this adds to the proof this prophecy is headed our way. Second, when you compare current events to what the Word of God warns you can clearly see the handwriting on the wall. What is that writing? WAR IS COMING.

You are probably asking, who are, Ishmaelites, Edom, Ammon, Amalek, Hagarenes, Gebal and the Philistines? These Old Testament territories are in modern times the nations of Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Syria.  As I said, these are the same nations who have just put forth some type of new peace plan for the Arabs and Israel.  Let’s put everything together for you.  They are fulfilling the requirement of the call for Peace and Safety as outlined by Paul. Any one who has followed the peace talks knows for sure these talks have been as a woman in labor exactly as Jesus warned.  We can see from the current events all these nations who have put a new peace plan on the table are getting agitated.  These nations are getting agitated because Israel won’t give up East Jerusalem and they won’t give up land for peace. This may change and Israel may give up some land to try and attain peace but we know it won’t last.  I ask you all to watch the Middle East because this ongoing Israeli-Arab conflict will eventually culminate in another war and Israel once again will have the victory. The Lord will answer the prayer of Psalm 83 and the nations listed in Psalms 83 will be defeated. Israel will take back any land given up. How do we know this? The following prophecies tell us so. Israel will acquire parts of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and all of Gaza. Read Isaiah 11:14; Zephaniah 2:3-10; Zechariah 10:10; and, Obadiah 19-20.  There are many prophecy signs all rapped up together and the call for peace and safety and war is an example of that.  Speaking about Lebanon, there is a lot of tension between Israel and Lebanon. Don't foreget, there was a major war in 2006 between Israel and Iebanon.  If all the nations listed in Psalms 83 would have engage Israel in 2006 we probably would have seen that prophecy come to pass. However, God has His own timing for all these things. Israel and Lebanon was in the news again today. “Lebanese authorities arrested three people, including two brothers, on suspicion of spying for Israel on Friday, bringing the count of those detained for spying in 2009 to 16, a security official said.” “They are accused of informing Israel about Lebanese and Syrian military and civilian sites "with the aim of facilitating Israeli attacks," a judicial official said last month”.

The Arabs aren’t the only ones engaged in the peace talks.   Pope Benedict XVI in his Easter message called for the resumption of the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks; just weeks before he travels to the Holy Land. Pope, who will visit the Holy Land on May 8-15 for the first time as pontiff, has said that he would carry a message of reconciliation on his visit, Reuters reported. "Reconciliation — difficult, but indispensable — is a precondition for a future of overall security and peaceful coexistence," the pope said.

Any time you see Rome getting involved in the peace process the red flags better go up! You may be asking what is the importance of this? Revelation chapter 17 also warns the reader that in the last days there will be a false Church who will ride along with the Antichrist. There is going to be a false prophet who will lead this church into the tribulation.  Rev. 17: 4 says. “Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. ⁴The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. ⁵This title was written on her forehead: MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. ⁶I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus”. You may not know this but the colors for the Pope just so happen to be purple and scarlet.   The Catholic Church is one of the richest organizations on the planet and just about every priest lifts up a cup of gold while saying the mass.  How wealthy is the Vatican?  I will let this news report prove my point. “A one-year investigation and analysis of 235 countries by Jane's Information Services has put the UK joint seventh in the premier league of nations with the US at 22nd and Switzerland, normally associated with wealth and untouchable stability, is rated 17th. Here is the full list: 1 Vatican” (Timesonline.co.uk March, 25 2008).

Can a one world religion really take place and, when could this happen?  The answers to these questions are yes it will happen and, it will take place as soon as the rapture of the Lord’s Church takes place.  When all the true Christians are gone there will be nothing stopping for Satan’s false prophet from forming the one world religion. Christ warned this false Church would have its base in Rome.  Jesus said it was coming and we see the ground work being set in place for it now.  Today’s news shows more signs of this happening. Headlines out of Israel read, “Jordan king asks pope to reopen Muslim-Christian dialogue” “Jordan's King Abdullah II welcomed Pope Benedict XVI  in Amman on Friday and urged the kind to open reopen dialogue between the Muslim and Christian worlds.”

That right, the Vatican is ranked number one in the world!  Where is this the headquarters for this massive church” Rome Italy.  What does Jesus warn about where the harlot will sit?  Jesus tells us in Rev. 17:9. I quote, “And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.”  In Rev. 17:18 Jesus tells us, “And the woman which thou sawest is that great city which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”  The Roman Catholic Church is going to play a major role during the tribulation with the Antichrist.  I want you to listen to what I am saying.  I don’t know if this Pope is the false prophet that will be working with the Antichrist for a short time during the tribulation.  What I am saying?  There is a very good chance he will be and this is based on all the facts and evidence. Not only that but just watch the news as the Pope puts together this one world religion.  I would keep the red flag up!  Knowing Jesus warned about this false Church rising and sitting in Rome we should see signs of this beginning to take shape. Let me provide you with a few more reports that show you a one-world religion is starting to be formed and it is the Pope who is pushing it.  The Pope is doing exactly what the Word says in Revelation chapter 17. At the end of the day this one world religion will be based out of Rome just as Christ warned it would.  Here is the proof.  “The leader of the Italian Democratic Party, Walter Veltroni, today proposed the creation of an ‘Organization of Religions Nations’ Rome-based, and said that the idea’ liked ‘by both the secretary of the UN, Ban Ki-moon, as Pope Benedict XVI.”  “The political leader said that it has already proposed his initiative, which called ‘United Religions’ (Religions Nations), both Benedict XVI as the secretary of the UN, who’ liked the idea” (Terra Events-EFE Feb. 14, 2008).  There isn’t any part of end time prophecy that is not being fulfilled!  Why not form a world ‘United Religions’ in Paris or Iceland for that matter?    Jesus said it would be done in Rome and that is all we need to know.   Let me make it simple.  They picked Rome because it was written in the Word of God.  Since God is timeless He has already seen them do it, and that is why we are seeing it take place today.  Another article reporting on the acts of the Pope had this to say. “Muslim and Vatican officials are holding historic talks in Rome to establish a better inter-faith dialogue and defuse any future tensions.”  “The three-day talks in Rome are being attended by nearly 60 religious leaders and scholars from each side” (BBC News Nov.4, 2008).

Let’s talk about war a little futher.  Right now the world is watching what is taking place in Pakistan. Those of you who aren’t watching the news may not know that war has already broken out there. “A Pakistani offensive against militants in the Swat Valley has displaced some 200,000 people and 300,000 are on the move or about to flee, the UN says. As jets and helicopters pounded targets in the valley, the UN said it was threatening to become one of the world's biggest displacement crises. The army says its "full-scale" assault had killed more than 170 militants in 24 hours, with the loss of 10 troops. It accused the Taleban of trying to stop civilians leaving the area”. Are these the wars Jesus warned us about?  What is now taking place in Pakistan is only the things to come.  In Matthew 24:7 Jesus told us that nation would rise against nation.  There will be many other nations who will engage in war soon.

Prophecy Sign: Matthrew 24:7 also warns us about famines and hunger spreading during the last days. New figures just out today show us Jesus was right on target again. “THE number of hungry people in the world could soon hit a record 1-billion, despite a drop in food prices, the United Nations food aid organisation said.” ““We have never seen so many hungry people in the world,” he said.The number of people considered hungry increased last year as well, by 40-million, and in 2007, when 75-million more people joined the ranks, Diouf said” (BusinessDay May 8, 2009).

My name is Jim Neugent. I wrote to ABC (on-line) concerning a program

called 'THE PRACTICE.' In last nights episode, one of the lawyer's

mothers decided she is gay and wanted her son to go to court and help

her get a marriage license so she could marry her 'partner.' I sent the

following letter to ABC yesterday and really did not expect a reply, but

I did get one.

My original message was:

ABC is obsessed with the subject of homosexuality. I will no longer

watch any of your attempts to convince the world that homosexuality is

OK. ' THE PRACTICE' can be a fairly good show, but last night's program

was so typical of your agenda. You picked the 'dufus' of the office to

be the one who was against the idea of his mother being gay, and made

him look like a whiner because he had convictions. This type of

mentality calls people like me a 'gay basher.'

Read the first chapter of Romans (that's in the Bible); and see what the

apostle Paul had to say about it….. He, God and Jesus were all 'gay

bashers'. What if she'd fallen in love with her cocker spaniel? Is that

an alternative life style? (By the way, the Bible speaks against that,

too.)

read the declaration of independence (what our nation is built on),

http://www.theedgeam.com/perspectives/last_chronicles/index.htm Prophecy Sign: Chapter 38 in the book of Ezekiel we are told Turkey will join with Russia and other Muslims nations and attack Israel.  God told Ezekiel that this attack would happen in the latter years.  This is a term used to pin point the end times.  We are in those times right now.  My regular views know I have been keeping them up to speed when it comes to this prophecy. I have proving to all who come to my site that the alliance God said would take place in the last days is in fact already happened.  The only part of this prophecy that is not fulfilled yet is the actual invasion.

The other prophecy, which has not yet been completed, is found in Isaiah 17: 1 where we read that Syria will be wiped out and the City of Damascus will left in reins.  This is what it states in 17:1 “An oracle concerning Damascus: See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.”  Jeremiah 49:24-26 says this about Syria. “ ²⁴ Damascus has become feeble, she has turned to flee and panic has gripped her; anguish and pain have seized her, pain like that of a woman in labor. ²⁵ Why has the city of renown not been abandoned, the town in which I delight?  ²⁶ Surely, her young men will fall in the streets; all her soldiers will be silenced in that day," declares the LORD Almighty.”  I have been sounding the alarms that we are seeing the stepping stones that have laid the ground work to fulfill both Isaiah and Jeremiah.  Now let me prove it.

About two weeks ago I showed you some evidence that Israel’s friend Turkey has turned away from Israel.  They did so because Israel attacked the PLO in the Gaza.  In the short time that has passed since Israel had to invade the PLO in the Gaza Turkey has found a strong partner.  Guess who it is?  Syria!  As you can see from this news report Israel is not happy about this new relationship and they are taking steps to protect the State of Israel. I quote, “Turkish-Syrian exercise prompts Israeli review of sophisticated arms sales to Ankara” “Israeli defense minister Ehud Barak commented Monday, April 27, that Turkey's decision to hold three days of military maneuvers with Syria is "disturbing." And that is not all. The exercise will be accompanied Monday or Tuesday by the signing of a letter of intent between Turkish defense minister Vecdi Gonul and his Syrian counterpart Hassan Turkmani for cooperation in the defense industry. DEBKAfile's military sources report that the signing and the exercise are major landmarks on the shrinking road of military and trading ties between Turkey and Israel. In 2009, Ankara pared exchanges down to $2.2 billion in 2009 and expanded its trade with Syria to $2.6 billion. Israel is now in a hurry to slash its military exchanges with Turkey to prevent the leakage of military secrets to an avowed Arab enemy” (Debkafile April 27, 2009). http://www.debka.com/

Ezekiel tells us the invasion against Israel will take place from the Northern quarters.  Where do you think Turkey and Syria are?  They are in the North.  It is no surprise to those of us who know prophecy.  We know what to expect and where to look.  I want to quote a report from the Debkafile. “The joint Turkish-Syrian tank and armored infantry exercise backed by air power begins across the Turkish-Syrian border Monday, April 27, and lasts three days. DEBKAfile's military sources stress that it is the first joint military maneuvers any NATO member, including Turkey, has ever carried out with Syria. It appears to have received a nod from the Obama administration and another first: Never before has an important NATO power staged a joint exercise with any Arab army. Ankara's decision to launch the drill on the day Israeli commemorates its war dead – in league with Iran's leading ally – is a measure of how far Turkey's longstanding strategic pact with the Jewish state has fallen by the wayside of recent changes.  Washington's approval underscores its new policy of boosting the strength of the Syrian army as partner in a strong a three-way military coalition with Turkey and Lebanon. Ankara made its announcement while US secretary of state Hillary Clinton was on a short visit to Beirut. It comes only four days after another first US step: Tuesday, April 22, DEBKAfile's exclusive sources reported that the Obama administration had just approved a large Turkish arms sale to the Lebanese army assigning Turkish military instructors to train Lebanese army units (half of whose personnel are Shiites sympathetic to Hizballah.) Neither of the Obama administration's actions took into account Israel's vital security interests; nor was Jerusalem consulted about the strategic changes on its borders – or even informed.” http://www.debka.com/.

I don’t know how much clearer I could bring into focus what is about to take place in the Middle East between Israel, Syria, the PLO, Turkey and the rest of the nations listed in Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Jeremiah.  All these news reports are warning signs God is about to fulfill His Words concerning these wars.  I pray you are on God’s side when these conflicts take place.

Prophecy Sign: Daniel chapter 2 & 7. A fews days ago I gave you evidence that America is in the midst of declining.  America has to decline beccause she is no where to be found in Daniel's prophecy. Instead of America being the last days world empire we see the rebirth of the modern day Roman Empire. That last world empire is the European Union or the EU.  The shift in powers is already in progress and the global economic crisis is one of the vedhicles that is helping casue the shift in world powers.  My warning concerning layoffs in America continues and once again we see hundreds getting their pink slips.  I quote, "SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Clear Channel Communications Inc., the largest owner of U.S. radio stations, said Tuesday it is cutting 590 jobs, including some on-air personalities, in its second round of mass layoffs this year amid pressure from the recession and evaporating advertising budgets" . Yesterday I put up a long post dealing with the Market Watch. If you missed that post I recommand you go to yesterdays post and read it.  If you live in America I hope you are preparing for the fall.  It isn't a matter of if it will happen it is only a matter of when it will take place.  This I know. If America were to play any major role as a superpower God probably would have shown it to Daniel. Not one word about the most powerful nation in the world?  It can only be that America would have already fallen thus, she isn't even worthy of meantioning.  It won't be long before you all see what I have been warning.

Prophecy Sign: Luke 21:25 warns us about the roaring seas.  Jesus also told us in Luke 25 there would be signs from the sun. In Revelation 16:8 we see intense heat being poured down on earth. Revelation 7:15-16 Jesus tells us what the tribulation is going to be like. “¹⁵Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.  ¹⁶Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat.”  Every one of these prophecies shows us there is going to be huge changes to his earth.  We are beginning to witness those changes right now and they are going to continue to get worse.  As the sun warms the ice, huge masses of ice are breaking away and falling into the ocean.  The sea is already beginning to rise and the closer we get to the beginning of the 7 year tribulation the faster these signs are going to come.  In chapter 13 of my book I give you more proof than you need that shows you Planet Earth is beginning to experience all the signs Jesus warned us about.  For the past few years the glaciers have been melting at record rates. The glaciers are melting on top as well as below. The result is going to be devastating for the earth as the water rises.  Here is an example of the warning from Jesus Christ.  Read this and keep it in your heart because you are witnessing the Word of God. I quote, “An area of an Antarctic ice shelf almost the size of New York City has broken into icebergs this month after the collapse of an ice bridge widely blamed on global warming, a scientist said Tuesday. "The northern ice front of the Wilkins Ice Shelf has become unstable and the first icebergs have been released," Angelika Humbert, glaciologist at the University of Muenster in Germany, said of European Space Agency satellite images of the shelf. Humbert told Reuters about 700 sq km (270.3 sq mile) of ice — bigger than Singapore or Bahrain and almost the size of New York City — has broken off the Wilkins this month and shattered into a mass of icebergs. She said 370 sq kms of ice had cracked up in recent days from the Shelf, the latest of about 10 shelves on the Antarctic Peninsula to retreat in a trend linked by the U.N. Climate Panel to global warming.”  Yes the roaring seas and waves are coming and so is Jesus Christ!  We you except Him as your Savior and enter into His peace or will you remain his enemy.  You may be saying, I am not Jesus’ enemy.  Yet the Word of God says, “The person who isn't with me is against me, and the person who doesn't gather with me scatters" Luke 11:23.  If you refuse Jesus love and offer of Salvation Jesus warns you, you are against Him.  If you are against Him you are His enemy.  Anyone who doesn’t belong to Christ belongs to Satan.  The time for hard decisions is now.  Will you come to Christ or not?

Speaking about the sea and waves roaring which point to storms, let me give you a update on the number of tornadoes that hit so far in April of 2009. As of late Tuesday night there were 237 tornadoes.  Last year the record was set and I am sure the trend will continue.

Prophecy Sign: In Matthew 24:7 we see the sign of disease.  For the past 4 days I have given you updates on the Swine Flu. I have been doing so because one of the signs Jesus said the last generation would deal with would be the sign of diseases.  Officials are now telling us the current flu outbreak can’t be contained.  “The swine flu virus first detected in Mexico can no longer be contained and countries should focus on mitigating its effects, a top UN official said. World Health Organization deputy chief Keiji Fukuda was speaking as the WHO raised its alert level to four, or two steps short of a full pandemic. UN food inspectors are going to Mexico to examine reports that industrial pig farms were the source of the outbreak. “  This outbreak is taking place and the same time all the other signs are happening.  The sun is heating up the ice, the seas are rising, diseases are popping up all around the world, crime is climbing, drugs are a major problem in just about every nation, major earthquakes are in the news, nations are starving and at war with either themselves or board nations, tornadoes are hitting in recorded numbers, volcanoes are exploding, Israel is about to attack Iran, the revived Roman Empire is standing exactly as warned, and the world is about to embrace an new economic system that will user in the New World Order that will be run by the Antichrist.  These are just a few of the signs Jesus told us to keep on the watch for.  Why watch?  Because it would be a sign to the Christians that when we saw all these things we would know for sure we are about to be raptured.

Prophecy Sign: 1 Thessalonians chapter 5:3: ³While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.“ At the same time Israel is focusing on Iran they are also forced to keep their eyes on the PLO.  Israel and the Arabs have been talking peace and safety for a long time.  They are getting to the point where the peace talks will fail. Once the Arabs know the peace talks aren’t going anywhere, this is when the sudden destruction that Paul warned us about will take place. One of the main points that have been hindering the peace talks is having the PLO except Israel as a nation.  In the news today we see this problem pop up again.  I quote, “(IsraelNN.com) Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas openly refused Monday to recognize Israel as a Jewish State. The statement came as a direct slap against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's insistence that such an acknowledgement is a necessary condition for "progress" in final-status talks. An uproar ensued in the PA two weeks ago following an initial statement by Netanyahu aides in which it appeared the prime minister had issued an ultimatum, with PA officials calling Netanyahu's insistence on this basic understanding a "provocation" and promising a "poisonous  effect" on the Israel-PA relationship. Netanyahu later clarified that recognition of Israel as the state of the Jewish people was a necessary component for progress in negotiations with the PA, although it would not prevent the initiation of the talks.”  I know what Jesus has warned us. Israel will be attacked soon.  There is the chance that the issue of recognizing Israel as nation may be what starts the war.  Focus your attention on the Middle East because this is where most of the major prophecies are going to take place soon.

Signs of America's decline are continuing. A new report out today isn't good. “WASHINGTON (AP) — The economy shrank at a worse-than-expected 6.1 percent pace at the start of this year as sharp cutbacks by businesses and the biggest drop in U.S. exports in 40 years overwhelmed a rebound in consumer spending. The Commerce Department's report, released Wednesday, dashed hopes that the recession's grip on the country loosened in the first quarter.”
