Prophecy Sign: Luke 21 :25 we see roaring seas and waves (storms).  Revelation 16:8-11 speaks of intense heat.  Revelation 7:15-16 we see the sun striking bringing heat, hunger and thirst.  Lets put everything Jesus warned us together and see what you get.  Intense heat that melts ice, this causes water levels to rise, at the same time the intense heat dries up fresh water supplies and we see more droughts and more hunger, and at the same time massive storms strike.  This is exactly what we have been reading in the news.  Luke told us, “On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea”.  This year many nations have been hit with all these end time signs.  For years we have been hearing about global warming and the ice burgs melting at record rates.  While the scientists debt who or what is causing global warming we are witnessing huge ice shelves falling into the ocean.  Little by little water levels are rising.  Jesus warned us that when we saw these things begin they would intensify and get much worse until He arrived at the end of the 7-year tribulation.  If you are new to bible prophecy let me make this simple for you.  What Christ was telling us is the sun’s heat will get hotter and hotter, the storms would get bigger and the winds would blow much harder than they are now.  By the time the tribulation begins men’s heart will begin to fail from the fear of all these things. What we are seeing in the news in nothing compared to what is coming!   There was more news today concerning the ice melting and new records being broken.  News from Anchorage Alaska informed us that the “Arctic Ocean sea ice has melted to the second lowest minimum since satellite observations began, according to scientists at the U.S. National Snow and Ice Data Center.  Sea ice melt recorded on Monday exceeded the low recorded in 2005, which had held second place.  With several weeks left in the melt season, ice in summer 2008 has a chance to diminish below the record low set last year, according to scientists at the National Snow and Ice Data Center.”

Anyone who knows God’s Word knows just about every sign Jesus said would come has in fact already fallen on us.  There are only a hand few of prophecies left before the tribulation begins.  Jesus said these are the beginnings of birth pains.  Look at what is being written about the fresh water crisis for example.  “Global freshwater resources are threatened by rising demands from many quarters. Growing populations need ever more water for drinking, hygiene, sanitation, food production and industry. Climate change, meanwhile, is expected to contribute to droughts.”  Scientists expect water scarcity to become more common in large part because the world’s population is rising and many people are getting richer (thus expanding demand) and because global climate change is exacerbating aridity and reducing supply in many regions. What is more, many water sources are threatened by faulty waste disposal, releases of industrial pollutants, fertilizer runoff and coastal influxes of saltwater into aquifers as groundwater is depleted. Because lack of access to water can lead to starvation, disease, political instability and even armed conflict, failure to take action can have broad and grave consequences.”  Compare what was just written in the news and read what Jesus said will happen and you get the big picture.  Every Word of Jesus’ warnings are coming true and this is only the beginning.

Recently researchers just discovered what may lead to global warming speeding up and getting much worse.  "Drunken" trees listing wildly, cracked highways and sinkholes—all are visible signs of thawing Arctic permafrost.. When this frozen soil warms, it releases carbon dioxide, methane and other greenhouse gases as microbes start to thrive on the organic material it contains—a potentially potent source of uncontrollable climate change. Now new research published in Nature Geoscience shows that such frozen Arctic soil holds nearly twice as much of the organic material that gives rise to planet-warming greenhouse gases as previously estimated.”  I don’t claim to be an expert in global warming but I do know what Jesus said was going to happen and it is.

Speaking about the roaring seas there is another hurricane in the news today.  This one is named Gustav and according to the news last night there is a chance this hurricane can hit a category 5.  At the present time it is a category one but it is picking up speed and power as it heads toward the US Golf.  ”Hurricane Gustav barreled toward landfall Tuesday in Haiti, and also was likely to strike Jamaica and Cuba, less than two weeks after the Caribbean was battered by Tropical Storm Fay.  Packing 90 mile-per-hour (145 kilometer-per-hour) winds, the category one hurricane's west-northwest trajectory also raised oil traders' fears about its potential impact on oil installations in the Gulf of Mexico later in the week.”

Prophecy Sign: Luke 21: 11 “And great earthquakes shall be in divers places. You had better remember these words for Christ because this is one of the keys to know this is the last generation. “So likewise ye, when ye, shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled” Matthew 24:33-34. If you read my free prophecy book you will see for the first time in any generation all the signs Jesus warned us about are all taking place in this generation. I out line most of the prophecies we were warned about in my book and there is no doubt we are in the last days.  One of those signs I talk about is the sign of big earthquakes in many places.  Early this year the Lord laid it on my heart to warn the people about these big quakes.  Major earthquakes hit a few days after I posted that warning in both China and Japan.  I thought the warning was over but I was told to prepare others for more of the same.  Since I posted that warning we have been witnessing one big quake after another.  There was another huge quake today.  I quote, “Moscow-Russian emergency officials say a powerful earthquake has struck a Siberian region that includes Lake Baikal, but no casualties were immediately reported. The magnitude 7 quake occurred at around 10:35 a.m. (0135 GMT) on Wednesday. Its epicenter was the southern tip of Lake Baikal, west of the Siberian city of Irkutsk.

Prophecy Sign: Revelation 16:12 Euphrates river dries up and the army from the East (China) will cross it.  Revelation 9:14-16 show us this army will number 200 million.  This is the exact number of China army today!  We know from prophecy China will play a major role during the 7-year tribulation.  Part of the prophecy is already fulfilled, that being the size of China’s army.  Think about this for a moment.  How in the world could someone predict that an army from the East would number exactly 200 million 2 thousand years before it ever existed?  The answer is of course found in God’s Word in Isaiah 48:3-6 “ I foretold the former things long ago, my mouth announced them and I made them known; then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass. For I knew how stubborn you were; the sinews of your neck were iron, your forehead was bronze.  Therefore I told you these things long ago; before they happened I announced them to you so that you could not say, 'My idols did them; my wooden image and metal god ordained them.' You have heard these things; look at them all.  Will you not admit them?  "From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you” (Isaiah 48:3-6).  I don’t think God could make it any clearer to the reader.  God straight out told us He was going to show us these things even before they took place.  The reason He did this is to show us He was in fact the one a only True God.  God in the Revelation showed us China was going to be in trouble in the end times.  In other places in Revelation we see millions running out of food and drinking water.  China is already in trouble on both these fronts.  Here is just a sample of China’s coming crisis, which by the way will affect the entire world.  The headline to this next report is entitled, “China Economy in Deep Trouble”.  I quote, “Don't look for an Olympic bounce to offset China's very real economic problems, says U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson. With the games behind it and international attention shifting, China must now contend with domestic economic problems, says Paulson. "Serious troubles in China's economy could threaten the stability of the U.S. and global economies," writes Paulson in Foreign Affairs.” Paulson stated, “Americans who worry that China might overtake the United States are worrying about the wrong thing," Paulson said. “Although far from being exhausted, China's natural resources, including breathable air, arable land, and potable water, have been substantially diminished and will continue to shrink as consumption increases.”  I have already written several posts warning to watch China because they are running out of fresh drinking water and are at the present time trying to transport drinking water from one end of the nation to the other.  Knowing what Jesus said about droughts, intense heat, lack of water, and food lets now place this side by side with what is currently happening in China and you can see the disaster comes that Jesus talked about.  When China runs out of water and food for their people what do you think they are going to do?  Could this be one of the reasons why China crosses the dried Euphrates River as Jesus warned in Revelation chapter 16?  I believe there is a very good chance that is one of the reasons why they cross.  We also know that they cross to fight as well.  Here is the point, prophecy is being fulfilled and the Word of God is proved over and over again it is TRUTH.

In closing let me tell you that you have no need to worry about the end times if you receive Jesus as your Savior.  Christ promised us that anyone who received him would not take part in the wrath God which takes place during the tribulation period.  Jesus is coming soon to remove all who have taken him as their Savior.  This is the main reason why He kept telling us over and over again in scripture to be ready and kept look for His signs.  I pray you listen to His call today.  If you haven’t given your life over to Him, it would be a good time to do it while the church is still on this earth.  Soon the church will be removed and if you aren’t taken to God at the rapture of the Church you will be left behind to face the Antichrist who is rising out of the European Union or the prophesied modern day reborn Roman Empire.  If you aren’t sure how to except Christ email me and I will be blessed to walk you through the door of Salvation to Christ Jesus.

Prophecy Sign: Matthew 24: 6 “And ye shall hear of wars and rumorurs of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”   I have been telling everyone to expect more wars to break out because this is what Jesus told us to look for.  We are already seeing wars and more rumors of war and soon we will see the actual war themselves. Right now the US and European Union is on pins and needles, as Russia has engaged themselves in Georgia.  Today Moscow’s leaders stepped up warning flags. “Moscow has issued an extraordinary warning to the West that military assistance to Georgia for use against South Ossetia or Abkhazia would be viewed as a "declaration of war" by Russia.  The extreme rhetoric from the Kremlin's envoy to NATO came as President Dmitry Medvedev stressed he will make a military response to US missile defence installations in eastern Europe, sending new shudders across countries whose people were once blighted by the Iron Curtain.”  Please take these warnings from Jesus very serious.  This is without a doubt the last days and we are headed for a lot of turmoil.  If you love you family you will begin to get them all prepared to meet Jesus.  Since everyone of His signs have been fulfilled expect for Ezekiel 38, Isaiah 17:1 we know Jesus is just around the corner from taking His Church out of here.

Prophecy Sign: Daniel chapter 2 and chapter 17 of the book of Revelation.  Rise of Modern Day Roman Empire.  Yesterday I gave some signs that America is declining and why this has to happen.  What I didn’t mention was how the dollar is doing against the European euro.  If you have been watching the currency rates you would have seen that in the past 2 weeks the dollar has risen slightly against the euro.  Don’t be fooled to think America is out of trouble, this is not the case at all.  Today we see a glimpse as to why the dollar has climbed slightly.  “China has resorted to stealth intervention in the currency markets to amass US dollars, using indirect means to hold down the yuan and ease the pain for its struggling exporters as the global slowdown engulfs the economy. A study by HSBC's currency team in Asia has concluded that China's central bank is in effect forcing commercial banks to build up large dollar reserves, using them as arms-length proxies in a renewed campaign of exchange rate intervention.  “Given the sheer scale of China's foreign reserves – now $1,800bn (£970bn) – any shift in its exchange policy now ripples around the globe. The covert buying may help to explain at least part of the explosive dollar rebound over recent weeks”.  Read my previous posts and you will see I have been warning that we are going to see a global crisis take place.  This crisis may be one of the ways the Antichrist is propelled upon the world scene.  We know he will emerge out of the peace talks and the signing of the 7 year covenant as stated in Daniel chapter 9, but the world is going to be looking for someone to solve the economic crisis and he will seem to have the answers as he did in the peace process.  If you are watching you can see the signs of a coming economic crisis coming.  In the report today about China trying to shore up the dollar it stated,

“Last week's rebound on the Shanghai stock market stalled on fading hopes of a fiscal stimulus package. "It is unrealistic to expect the government to rescue the market," said Li Ka-shing, chairman of Hutchison. "Speculators should be very cautious now. The worst is not over in the global credit crisis."  I have been warning people about this credit crisis and I have asking you to try and pay off your credit debt.  This isn’t any easy task, but it will help you in the end.

Are my warnings really taking shape?  I told you the prices of homes were going to keep dropping.  As a result there was going to be more home forecloses which will continued to place a heavy burden on the US economy.  China knows what will happen if Americans stop buying their products and it will be a disaster for the China’s economy.  The new information out today isn’t good for the US and it isn’t good news for China either.  “A widely watched index released Tuesday showed home prices dropping by the sharpest rate ever in the second quarter, but the data for June suggest the severity of the housing slump may be waning.”  The Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price Index tumbled a record 15.4 percent during the quarter from the same period a year ago. The monthly indices also clocked in record declines. The 20-city index fell by 15.9 percent in June compared with a year ago, the largest drop since its inception in 2000. The 10-city index plunged 17 percent, its biggest decline in its 21-year history.  Lets look at the total picture to understand the real reason these things are taking shape.  Something has to take place to allow one man to rule this planet as Christ warned.  What better way for someone to emerge then out of global economic crisis?

During the tribulation period people will have extreme problems trying to live and that will include buying the basics to survive.  Who do you think will control how people buy during those tough times?  We have the answer from Jesus in Revelation chapter 13 when he warns us the man of min will force everyone to take his mark in their right hand or forehead.  The economic crisis could be one of the ways or reasons this coming Antichrist can bring about his mark.

People may think that the European Union won’t have economic problems because the Prophet Daniel said the reborn Roman Empire will be the last world empire at the time Jesus returns.  People naturally assume the EU will not face these economic problems.  This is not the case.  In order to bring about a one-world government major crises must take place and I do believe these crises are going to affect the European Union, which is the Modern Day Reborn Roman Empire.  We must look at the end result of these troubles.  In the end the man who will take center stage will just so happen to emerge from the EU or reborn Roman Empire.  The fact is, right now the EU is having their share of economic problems.  Here is a short look at what I am referring to.  “Amid increasing signs of a worsening European economy, a survey has found that citizens in large EU countries are mainly blaming their own governments, but the European Central Bank is also becoming a target for discontent. The IMF is to shave its July estimate for the eurozone's growth this year from 1.7 percent to 1.4 percent in its autumn World Economic Outlook due in October, according to an official quoted by Reuters, while cutting its 2009 forecast from 1.2 percent to 0.9 percent.

Prophecy Sign: Luke 21:25 Seas and waves raging.  If you watch the evening news you would have seen all the reports about  hurricane Fay that had passed over Florida 4 times.  Fay is still causing big problems as it moves away from Florida.  “Fay just won't quit.  The tropical storm that set a record with four landfalls in Florida chugged west across the Gulf Coast yesterday and cities from Pensacola to New Orleans prepared for heavy rain. Proving a slow-moving tropical storm can be as deadly and damaging as a hurricane, Fay killed at least 11 people in Florida, emergency officials said. “http://www.edmontonsun.com/News/World/2008/08/24/6555216-sun.html

While Fay is dumping rain at record rates another hurricane is headed toward Florida.  Hurricane Gustav barreled toward vulnerable Haiti on Tuesday and appeared set to become a "major" storm later in the week as it neared the Gulf of Mexico where the United States produces a large amount of oil and gas. Gustav was likely to become a Category 2 storm before striking the southwestern peninsula of impoverished Haiti later on Tuesday and then move westward south of Cuba over deep warm waters that provide tropical cyclones with fuel.

Prophecy Sign: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 informs us that when Israel is talking peace and safety sudden destruction will come.  One of the worse things America could do is to help Israel split up the Holy City of Jerusalem yet this is what Secretary of State Rice is attempting to do. “Jerusalem – Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, completing a visit to the region today, has been pressing Israel to sign a document by the end of the year that would divide Jerusalem by offering the Palestinians a state in Israel's capital city as well as in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, according to top diplomatic sources involved in the talks. The Israeli team, led by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, has been negotiating the division of Jerusalem – despite claims to the contrary – but would rather conclude an agreement on paper by the end of the year that would give the Palestinians a state in the West Bank, Gaza and some Israeli territory, leaving conclusions on Jerusalem for a later date, the informed diplomatic sources told WND.”  First of all, this call for peace and safety is fulfilling one part of prophecy and second of all America is headed for bigger problems if we get Israel to divide Jerusalem.  Read the outcome for anyone that burdens themselves over Jerusalem.  I quote the Word of God.  “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people:  All that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it” (Zechariah 12:3).  Now you know why I said America is headed for bigger trouble.  We are already burdening ourselves over this city.  The best position the US should take is to back off on dividing this city and let Israel take the lead in this peace process.  We should give our full support to Israel in any way we can because God told us I would bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel.  These are the facts. Jesus said they would be calling for this peace and safety and they are, He warned about how people in the end times would be burdening themselves over Jerusalem and that is exactly what we have been witnessing.  Jesus also warned He would come back again while these things were going on.  I see no reason why you shouldn’t believe in His Words.

Prophecy Sign: Matthew 24:7 Wars and rumors of war.

For months I have been trying to prepare everyone for the next Middle East war.  We know for sure that at the time Israel is taking about peace that sudden destruction will come.  Right now we are seeing sparks fly that will soon lead to another war.  For example, “Israel has ordered the Gaza Strip's border crossings closed after militants violated a cease-fire by launching two rockets. Israel has increased the trickle of humanitarian aid going into Gaza since a cease-fire took hold with Gaza's Hamas rulers in June. But Tuesday's order by Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak follows a policy of closing the crossings briefly in response to each truce violation by militants.”  Israel will put up with so much before it goes into the Gaza to wipe out those who are firing the rockets on their people.

Prophecy Sign: Daniel chapter 2 Modern day Roman Empire reborn.

I have touched based on the decline of America in a few days but I want to remind you that America will decline.  If you are new to this site let me explain why the USA must decline.    God showed Daniel in the last days the Old Roman Empire would be reborn again.  This would be the Empire that rule the world at the time Jesus Christ returns.  This Modern Day Roman Empire would also give rise to the Antichrist.  Since we have entered the last days just prior to Christ’s 2^nd coming we see the rise of the new Roman Empire in the form of the European Union.  Because we know the EU must be the most powerful Empire during the last days that shows us America must decline.  We see the decline in many ways. For example our economy is dragging and it appears we are in for more of the same.  Today’s Headline from the Statesman read as follows, “FDIC gets ready for bank failures”.  If you go back and read my previous posts you will see that I warned you this was coming. Here is a short look at the news today. Speaking about banks they inform us, “Hundreds could fail, some industry experts predict. That could force the agency to make good on its promise to insure most customers' checking and savings deposits up to $”.  They also stated, “Despite the frequent gloom on both Wall Street and Main Street, industry players seem confident in the overall resiliency of the banking industry and the FDIC's ability to shelter customers from bank failures” This is I believe misleading and I will tell you why.  They don’t mention the fact the major businesses are laying off thousands of employees, they don’t tell you that the inflation rate is climbing and that the prices of everything are still climbing and, our economy is almost at a stand still.   Prepare to see more banks go under and more problems for the US.  As for the US dollar expect it to rise slightly but to fail again as inflation rises.   The main point is this.  No matter what happens in the end the European Union will be the world leader just as God showed the Prophet Daniel.

Prophecy Sign: Ezekiel 38-39-Last days attack on Israel lead by Russia and Iran and other Arab nations as well.  The last 5 or 6 posts I put up I have been showing you the stepping-stones that will lead these nations to fulfill Ezekiel’s prophecy.   We see in the news today that “Ahmadinejad and Medvedev will talk about strengthening relations between the two countries and discuss regional and international issues, the Fars News Agency reported.”  In case you don’t know these are the leaders of Russia and Iran.  I can assure you these nations are in talks about Israel!

Again today the President of Iran talked about getting rid of Israel. I quote, “Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad renewed his verbal attacks on arch-foe Israel on Saturday, accusing it of dragging the world into turmoil and predicting its demise. He said that if the West does not restrain Zionism, "the powerful hand of the nations will clean these sources of corruption from the face of the earth," without specifying which nations.”  Let me tell you whom Ahmadinejad is referring to.  They are the nations that God listed in the 38 chapter of Ezekiel. Please download my free book and turn to chapter 10 for a detailed list of the nations Ahmadinejad is referring to.  Is a attack on Israel coming?  God told us it was and Ahmadinejad is now confirming what God showed Ezekiel.  Just keep this information in mind and watch the news.

Prophecy Sign: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 informs us that when Israel is talking peace and safety sudden destruction will come. While Russia, Iran, Turkey, and the other nations on Ezekiel’s list are getting ready to invade Israel, Israel is still in the hard of calling for peace and safety just as it is suppose to happen.  Today we learned that,  “US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice left Sunday for the Middle East in a new bid to broker an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal by January 2009 despite mounting odds. In her seventh visit to the region since the Annapolis peace process was launched in November last year, Rice will arrive in Israel on Monday for talks with top Israeli and Palestinian negotiators.”  If God showed us they would be calling for peace at the time they are attacked which are, we can expect this attack to take place soon.  Just be ready and stand on the watch because we are closing in on the 2^nd coming of Christ.

Prophecy Sign:  Matthew 24:37-39. In these verses Jesus told us in the last days the last generation would be exactly as the generation during Noah’s generation.  We are an exact copy of Noah’s generation and that sign alone tells us we are very close to seeing Jesus Christ return for His Church.  If you have come to my site of the past year you would have seen the facts about all the gay pride parades taking place in much of the world.  Today we see more news about this issue in Israel.  I quote, “Jerusalem mayoral candidate, Israeli-Russian businessman Arcadi Gaydamak, is determined to cancel the annual gay pride parade in the capital. "When I'm elected mayor, I would die before allowing the pride parade to be held in Jerusalem," he said Monday during a conference held by the Bikur Holim hospital owned by him.”  We see more news about the gay agenda then ever before.  Why?  Because Jesus warned us this was going to take place when all the other prophecies were also taking place.  That is a key sign we have reached the final days.  Prepare yourself to meet Christ.  If you refuse His calling on your life, you then should prepare to meet the Antichrist during the tribulation that will follow after Israel in invaded.

Prophecy Sign: Ezekiel 38 and Isaiah chapter 17 both speak of two wars which will take place in the end times.  One war against Syria that will destroy Damascus and the other war involves Israel’s enemies coming down on them from the North.

Yesterdays post on the 22^nd of August I showed you signs that Syria and Russia are making moves that could lead up to the destruction of Damascus and starting Ezekiel's prophecy in Exekiel 38.  Today August 23, 2008 another stepping stone sign was reported in the news.   “A chill has descended on relations between Israel and Russia after Moscow reached out to the Jewish state's arch-foe Damascus against the backdrop of the Georgia conflict. Israel, which maintains friendly ties with Georgia and has sold weapons to the Eurasian country — as have several Western nations — fears Moscow will exact a price for this support by boosting its ties with Syria. “A senior foreign ministry official, for his part, said Russia's "forceful return on the international stage doesn't guarantee in any way it will have a constructive role in the future of the Middle East."  "It is difficult to believe in the good faith of Moscow when it emerges, despite all of Moscow's denials, that Russian weapons sold to Syria have reached Hezbollah," he told AFP under condition of anonymity.  Russian anti-tank missiles inflicted major losses to Israeli forces battling the Hezbollah militia in southern Lebanon in a summer 2006 conflict.  But officials and analysts believe it is unlikely the current diplomatic malaise between Israel and Russia would deteriorate into a full-blown crisis." "The only new element is that the (Israeli) military aid given to Georgia has given Russia an argument to sell weapons to Syria," said Amnon Sela, a political analyst at the Interdisciplinary Centre think-tank” (Yahoo News). 

Yesterday I told you Russian weapons have been sent to Syria then to the Hezbollah based in Lebanon.  This report stated they didn’t think the current diplomatic malaise between Israel and Russia would deteriorate into a full-blown crisis.  While this may or may not be the case for the present time, but according to Ezekiel 38 it will soon become a full-blown crisis as Russia and her allies come from the North to invade Israel.  Keep your eyes on the Middle East because this is where the next set of major prophecies will be fulfilled.

There were more rumors of war today between Syria’s ally Lebanon and the Hizbullah sect based there.  “Lebanon's unity cabinet on Friday approved a decision to formally complain to the United Nations about what it perceived as recent Israeli threats against Lebanon. "To hear what Israeli officials say, one would think Israel was showering Lebanon with roses during its last aggression," Prime Minister Fuad Saniora said of the Second Lebanon War. Saniora was apparently referring to comments this week by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert who warned that Israel would hit back harder than before if Hizbullah attacked again. Olmert said Israel did not use all its means to respond then, but "if Lebanon becomes a Hizbullah state, then we won't have any restrictions in this regard."  Any wise man who reads the bible understands war is coming to the Middle East soon.   Believe it or not War is on its way.

Prophecy Sign: Luke 21:25 Roaring seas and waves.  “Tropical Storm Fay crossed into the Florida Panhandle on Saturday, becoming the first storm of its kind in recorded history to hit the state four different times. "The damage from Fay is a reminder that a tropical storm does not have to reach a hurricane level to be dangerous and cause significant damage," said Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, who toured flooded communities this week.Crist on Friday asked the White House to elevate the disaster declaration President Bush issued to a major disaster declaration. Crist said the storm damaged 1,572 homes in Brevard County alone, dropping 25 inches of rain in Melbourne.”

Ezekiel 38 and Isaiah chapter 17 both speak of two wars which will take place in the end times.  One war against Syria that will destroy Damascus and the other war involves Israel’s enemies coming down on them from the North. Over the course of months I have giving you signs I call “footsteps to Ezekiel’s war”.  All these current events are taking place because all these nations are being put in place to fulfill these prophecies. One of these current events could ignite either one of these wars, or both for that matter.  Let me show you what is going on. “Russian security officials threatened retaliation against Israel for its weapons exports to Georgia including eight different aerial drones. Russian Deputy Chief of Staff Col. Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn said Israel supplied at least eight different models of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Georgia. Nogovitsyn said Israel has also sold a range of weapons and sought to export main battle tanks to Georgia. Russian diplomatic sources said the government of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was furious over Israel's refusal to impose a military embargo on Georgia. The sources said Putin's aides had urged Israel several times to halt weapons exports. "We asked Israel not to sell offensive weapons to a hostile neighboring state, but they said they're a sovereign state," a diplomatic source said. "Well, Israel shouldn't be surprised if we sell offensive weapons to Israel's neighbors." Aug. 20, 2008  What this did was set the stage for the Russians to place their missiles in Syria.  This will increase the danger in the Middle East because Israel knows any of those missiles can hit anywhere in Israel.  Keep in mind, Ezekiel warned the attack would come from the North and both Russia and Syria are directly North of Israel.

Two day after the above report was released we received news that President Assad had a meeting in which he told Russia he would allow Russian missiles to be set up in Syria.  The ynetnews headline read, “Assad to Russia: Plant missiles in Syria”. “Russia Today TV reports Syrian president will allow Russia to place anti-aircraft weaponry in Syria, in response to US planting of missiles in Poland.

“
Syrian President Bashar Assad has made an offer to his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, allowing the latter to counter the US's involvement in Poland by planting Russian missiles on Syrian soil, Russia Today TV reported Thursday.”  Remember just 2 days prior to this report Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was furious at Israel for arming Georgia.  This is his way of getting back at Israel.

Today’s news we see Israel’s response to these Russia weapons being setup just to the north of them.  “Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) on Friday Mofaz accused Syria and other regional states of "allowing themselves to directly threaten Israel," and added that Israel must exhibit a "tough stance" against them.”  “Mofaz also responded to allegations that Syria offered to place Russian missile batteries on their soil, saying "Israel cannot allow the entry of weapons that could destabilize the balance of power in the region."   “Nevertheless, Israel fears Assad is trying to drag Russia and Israel into a new diplomatic crisis by emphasizing Israeli arms sales to Georgia” Aug. 22, 2008.  As you can see one issue is entwined with the other.

We can see both Isaiah 17:1 and Ezekiel chapter 38 forming right in front of us.  Syria who just made a strong alliance with Iran has now made a strong allinace with Russia.  Yesterday we read that “Syria raised the prospect yesterday of having Russian missiles on its soil, sparking fears of a new Cold War in the Middle East. President Assad said as he arrived in Moscow to clinch a series of military agreements: “We are ready to co-operate with Russia in any project that can strengthen its security.”  This is very important because if Israel desides to hit Syria and takes out those Russian missiles it could fufill Isaiah 17:1 and cause the start of Ezekiel 38.

Russia promised to consider the sale of "defensive" weapons to Syria during a visit to the country by President Bashar Assad. But in response to the visit, Tzipi Livni, the Israeli foreign minister, said: "It is in nobody's interest to destabilise the region." She warned that Syria's continued links to the Iranian-sponsored Hizbollah militia in Lebanon meant weapons could fall into unexpected and "dangerous" hands. "It is a mutual interest of Russia, of Israel and of the pragmatic leaders and states in the region not to send long-range missiles to Syria," she said.”

At the present time Syria is sending arms down into Lebanon to the Hezbollah which is lead by Nassan Nasrallah.  Nasrallah is working closely with Assad and even Nassan is saying war against Israel is coming soon.  Here is an example of that, “Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said Friday that operatives within Lebanon were preparing for a new war with Israel in the coming months.Nasrallah, who made a speech in honor of the "Islamic Resistance Week," maintained that activists from his organization are ready for battle against the Israel Defense Forces and will fight the IDF soldiers "in every wadi" in ways they haven't fought in the past.”  In yesterdays post I quoted from Newsmax where Israel stated “another war with Hezbollah is inevitable”   Why?  Because Israel has noticed that they have rearmed themselves with 40,000 rockets.  We see the signs of war everywhere.

Prophecy Sign: Luke 21:25 roaring waves (storms)

I wrote about this storm yesterday but I wanted to give you the latest update. “Torrential rains from a slow-moving Tropical Storm Fay triggered a new round of flooding Thursday, submerging roads and forcing dozens of people to flee the rising water in their homes. With Fay hugging Florida's northeast Atlantic coast, repeatedly lashing the region with buckets of rain, police and National Guard troops were evacuating people from flood areas in the barrier island town of Merritt Island, where lakes were overflowing into houses, said Brevard County Sheriff's Sgt. Linda Moros. People were also being evacuated from a mobile home community in Melbourne. “I want to stress that this storm is becoming a serious catastrophic flooding event,'' said Gov. Charlie Crist, who scheduled a visit to tour part of the flooded area later in the day.”

Forecasters expected the storm to continue a zigzag course by hitting the state for a third time in a week, along with Georgia, but didn't think it would strengthen to a hurricane over the Atlantic.

The US isn’t the only one dealing with floods and storms. “Five people were killed as Typhoon Nuri slammed into the northern Philippines Wednesday, triggering heavy rain and warnings of possible storm surges, officials said. Packing maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometres (86 miles) an hour at the centre and gusts of up to 170 kilometres per hour, at 4:00 pm (0800 GMT) Nuri was 90 kilometres northwest of the northern province of Cagayan, moving northwest at 15 kilometres per hour.”

Prophecy Sign: Daniel chapter 2 and Revelation Chapter 17 warn of the rise of the modern day reborn Roman Empire.  In some of my recent posts I warn about the decline of America to give way to the European Union which is the fulfillment of the modern day reborn Roman Empire.  As soon as the dollar goes up a little I have people telling me that America’s currency will make a come back. I keep informing those people that the dollar may seem to go up but it will decline again.  this is exactly what has happened this week again.  The reason why the dollar is headed back down can be seen in this new report out today. “Oil prices shot up more than $5 a barrel Thursday, rising to the highest level in over two weeks as escalating tensions with Russia stoked fears of a disruption of energy shipments to Western countries. Crude's rally mimicked the wild price swings seen last month and have at least temporarily halted oil's slide back toward $100 a barrel. A weaker U.S. dollar and worries about tightening output from OPEC countries are also supporting prices. After days of brushing off geopolitical flare-ups, oil spiked above $122 a barrel as traders became rattled over increasingly hostile Russian rhetoric toward a U.S.-Poland deal to install a missile defense system in Eastern Europe — a move Moscow views as a threat.”

The latest report just out today gives us more signs of how America is going in a decline.  "U.S. consumers should brace for the biggest increase in food prices in nearly 20 years in 2008 and even more pain next year due to surging meat and produce prices, the Agriculture Department said on Wednesday. Food prices are forecast to rise by 5 percent to 6 percent this year, making it the largest annual increase since 1990. Just last month, USDA forecast food prices would climb between 4.5 and 5.5 percent in 2008. "  If you haven't read the book of Revelation you wouldn't understand why the prices of everything has to go up.  Jesus told us this very thing was in fact going to take place.  This as I have stated before, is just the beginning of things to come.

When the first Roman Empire was here they had the Roman curreny.  Now that the reborn modern day Roman Empire has been brought back they to have their own European Union curreny.  This is the currency that is spreading in European in nations that have joined the EU.  In Today's news we learned that “Slovakia's mint has started manufacturing euro coins as the country prepares to join the 15-strong monetary union on 1 January 2009.” This is just one more sign that the EU is getting stronger and is becoming more like the first Roman Empire.

Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred three score and six”, or 666 (Revelation 13:16-18).  In my book I give an indepth look at how Jesus words have come to pass in this generation.  2000 years ago Christ warned one man would come and force everyone to take his mark which the bible calls the mark of the beast.  You can see from the scriptures that this mark will be placed in the skin.  This is the only generation who could have fulfilled this prophecy.  We have fulfilled it because the prophet Daniel said this generation what advance in knowledge and we have.  Let me show you how new technology can do exactly what Jesus said in Rev. 13.  “Wealthy Mexicans, terrified of soaring kidnapping rates, are spending thousands of dollars to implant tiny transmitters under their skin so satellites can help find them tied up in a safe house or stuffed in the trunk of a car. Kidnapping jumped almost 40 percent between 2004 and 2007 in Mexico according to official statistics. Mexico ranks with conflict zones like Iraq and Colombia as among the worst countries for abductions. Prophecy Sign: Matthew 24:7 Famine & Revelation 16:3 “And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.” July 24, 2008 I wrote a post dealing with famines. I explained famines can come from the lack of food from our oceans as well.  “A dead zone is a phenomenon which is caused when salt water loses large amounts of oxygen, this condition is known as hypoxia.  Recent news tells us “The number of “dead zones” in the world’s oceans may have increased by a third in just two”.  In my July post I asked you to watch this because we are going to see more of these Dead Zones.  It hasn’t even been a month yet and there is another report out today with new information on the Dead Zones.  The headline to the article should tell you what is happening, it reads this way: “Ocean 'dead zones' expanding worldwide”. I quote, “New US-Swedish study suggests industrial pollution, runoff of water containing phosphates and nitrates into oceans causes steadily increasing inhabitable areas for oceanic life-forms AFP Oceanic "dead zones" where marine life cannot survive have been steadily increasing over the past five decades and now encompass 400 coastal areas of the world, a US-Swedish study suggests. The number of these areas, in which aquatic ecosystems disappear due to lack of oxygen in the water, has "approximately doubled each decade since the 1960s," said the study in the journal Science on Friday. Dead zones now comprise around 95,000 square miles, according to researchers Robert Diaz of the Marine Sciences Institute at the College of William and Mary in Virginia, and Rutger Rosenberg, a marine scientist at Gothenburg University in Sweden. "The formation of dead zones has been exacerbated by the increase in (pollution) … fueled by riverine runoff of fertilizers and the burning of fossil fuels," the study said.” Jesus warned us in Revelation 16:3 “And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.”  Not only are we seeing more RED tides that turn our waters RED and killing sea life but, these increasing DEAD ZONES are killing off the food we get from our oceans.  Between the droughts, intense heat, read tides, and ocean dead zones millions are going to go hungry.  This process will accelerate  from here on out and will reach its max during the 7 year tribulation.  What we see hear are two warnings from Christ coming to life. 1^st the famines and 2^nd oceans turning red.  Take China for example, Fertilizers, sewage, fossil fuel burning, and other pollutants China is dumping into the water is helping spread these lifeless dead zones.  China has a massive population, and they are still growing and dumping pollutants than any nation.  When they are out of fresh water and can no longer take fish from the water ways what do you think this nation is going to have to do?  Jesus in Revelation Chapter 9:14-16 and Rev. 16:12 shows us that the army from the East (China) will cross the Euphrates river that dries up in the end times.  This army we are told will number 200 million men.  Today China’s army is 200 million!  Are they marching because the world is starving and nations are going to war over food and water?  In part yes.  The fact here is this.  Our waters ways are drying up, our water ways are turning red, our waters ways are dying from dead zones, China is destroying their waters at record rates and they have the exact number of men in their army as Jesus said they would.  Are all these things coincidences?  No, not at all, they are what it is, a warning from Christ to pay attention to His signs of the times.

If you have been watching the news you would has seen all the news about the global food crisis that is currently taking shape.  Japan who has not planted crops has added an extra burden to food supplies.  “This spring, with some nations close to panic over global rice supplies, Japan confronted a different problem — huge swathes of paddy fields lying fallow due to a 37-year-old price support policy that limits planting. Now, with the world more anxious about its future food sources than any time since the 1960s, some analysts and politicians say it's time for change.”  The US has also added to the food crisis by growing corn for fuel instead of planting corn which can be eaten.  As you known this is one of the main reasons why the price of food is skyrocketing.  This is a very good example of one of the birth pains Jesus told us we would see.  The food crisis has only begun, Jesus showed us in the Revelation that during the tribulation there would be hardly any food let.  The other reason why food prices are climbing is because of all the natural disasters we have been faced with during the past 2 months.  Floods have wiped out many crops both in the US and around the world.

Prophecy Sign: Luke 21:25 “sea and the waves roaring” Tropical Storm Fay continued its erratic path Wednesday reaching the coast and headed for the Atlantic Ocean, where it could strengthen and curve back toward Florida – possibly as a hurricane. Meanwhile, as Florida and Georgia prepared for what could be another hit from the storm in the coming days, some farmers in the region hoped a soaking would boost crops hurt by a lingering drought”  Why do we keep reading news about droughts and floods?  These type of news is common place all over the world.  Farmers who lost crops due to droughts are now being flooded out and these is the same scene in many nations around the world.

Prophecy Sign: Isaiah 17:1 “The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.”  The last few months I have been showing you the links between the nations listed in the Ezekiel prophecy which will all soon invade Israel.   I explained that Syria is not on the list of nations that attack Israel with Iran, Russia, Turkey and some other Arab nations.  I also explained prophecy shows Syria will be destroyed and it will probably happen just prior to the Ezekiel war.  In today’s news we see “Syrian President Bashar Assad said on Wednesday he will use a visit to Russia to expand military ties with Moscow, whose arms sales to the Middle Eastern state have angered Israel and the United States.  He told Russia's Kommersant newspaper that Russia's conflict with Georgia, in which Moscow says Georgia used Israeli-supplied equipment, underlined the need for Russia and Syria to tighten their defense cooperation.  Assad is expected to have talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev during his visit this week.”  Here is the connection. Syria is allied already with most of the nations listed in the Ezekiel.  Israel and Syria at the present time are getting ready for war with one another.  What do you think is going to happen when Syria is destroyed and the city of Damascus is left in a ruinous heap as it states in the prophecy?  Syria’s allies will respond and we will see the Middle East break out in war again.  Is it possible that this one event may kick off the start of the Ezekiel war?  It is one possibility we must keep on the table.  The other possibility for the start of the war is if Israel bombs the Iranian nuclear power plant.  This could set things in motion, Syria would attack and Israel  would respond quickly and take out Damascus, this would give Syria’s allies the excuse to invade Israel.  Only God know for sure exactly what will cause these nations to invade.  Our job is to pay attention to the Lord’s warnings and His signs.  We know war is coming so it won’t be a surprise to those who know prophecy.  I do want to stress this point however, these are two of the last prophecies to be fulfilled before the 7 year tribulation begins.  These current events just point out that our time here is coming to an end.  Here is one last point.  The ynetnews report also stated, “Israel has long urged Russia not to sell weapons to Syria. Damascus was a Moscow ally during the Cold War and is now key to the Kremlin's ambitions to reviving its Soviet-era role in the region.”  You can see how important Syria is to Russia today and if someone comes against Russia’s ally Russia will move just the way Russia moved last week against Georgia.

Prophecy Sign: In Ezekiel 38:15 it says, “And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, any many people with three, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a might army”     First of all, you must understand Ezekiel did not understand the terminalogy of modern warfare.  When he spoke about the enemies of Israel riding horses he probably was referring to all the tanks that would come down against Israel.  The most important part of this scripture is the fact that God told us the attack on Israel by Russia and her allies would come from the NORTH PARTS. God also told Ezekiel in 39: 2 that the attack would come from the NORTH PARTS. What just took place between Russia and her partner Sryia is major in current event in relation to bible prophecy.  Guess where Russia is moving her troops?  “The Russian aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov” is ready to head from Murmansk towards the Mediterranean and the Syrian port of Tartus. The mission comes after Syrian President Bashar Assad said he is open for a Russian base in the area.”  For those of you who don’t know Syria is directly North of Israel.  Russia is moving their aircraft carrier there because Russia is getting ready to attack Israel.  You will be hearing a lot about this Russian move to Syria in the International news because this is major!  I am telling you, God told us the direction and who would come down on Israel and now those same people are moving to the north to fulfilled God’s Words.  Now you can see why God in Isaiah 17:1 said Syria’s Damascus was going to be destroyed!

Speaking about Russia, that brings me to the next prophecy sign which is found in Matthew 24:7 where Jesus warned us we would see wars and rumors of wars. As you know Russia went to war last week with Georga, now many are worried Russia will make advances into other nations to expand what was once the old Soviet Union.  Here is a quote for The Timesonline Aug. 19, 2008.  “President Medvedev of Russia yesterday promised a “shattering blow” against any foreign power that moved against Russian citizens. The threat will compound the fears of former Soviet states, which are concerned that they could be next after Russia’s attack on Georgia. “If someone thinks they can kill our citizens, kill soldiers and officers fulfilling the role of peacekeepers, we will never  allow this,” Mr Medvedev told a group of Second World War veterans in Kursk. “Anyone who tries to do this will receive a shattering blow.”  “He continued: “Russia has the capabilities – economic, political and military. Nobody has any illusions left about that.” Russia’s incursion into Georgia, and its reluctance to leave, has alarmed former Soviet states such as Ukraine and the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.”   Here we have the fulfillment of war and the fulfillment of rumors of more wars.  As you can see all these events are tied together.

Here is an interesting fact.  Russia yesterday blamed Israel in part for Russia’s actions against Georgia.  “Russia's deputy army chief, Col.-Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn, accused Israel on Tuesday of arming the Georgian military with mines, explosive charges, special explosives for clearing minefields and eight kinds of unmanned aerial vehicles. "In 2007, Israeli experts trained Georgian commandos in Georgia and there were plans to supply heavy weaponry, electronic weapons, tanks and other arms at a later date, but the deal didn't work out," Nogovitsyn told a Moscow press conference. Nogovitsyn also said that the Russian soldiers had detained 20 mercenaries near the Georgian city of Poti, including three Arabs, all wearing Georgian army uniforms.”  In Ezekiel you see that Russia is the leader of the attack on Israel.  These events we are now reading about are adding fuel to this coming attack.  Russia had no problem attacking Georgia and they aren’t going to have any problem attacking the tiny nation of Israel.

The prophects warned us war was coming against Israel in the end times.  There is no question this prophecy has been fulfilled in part.  The day after Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948 they were attacked by many Arabs nations.  They won that war.  They were attacked and out numbered again in 1963 and 1973 and again won those wars, but there are two more major prophecies yet to be fulfilled as I have already stated. Ezekiel and Isaiah’s wars.  Both Israel and Israel’s enemies are getting ready to battle again.  “The Israeli army says Hezbollah has re-armed with 40,000 rockets — triple the number it had at the start of the Lebanon War two years ago. Therefore, many Israelis believe another war with Hezbollah is inevitable. "The war set the stage for a more comprehensive Middle East conflict," said Israeli analyst Michael Oren. "It set into motion a dynamic in the Arab world, where much of the Arab street believes that Hezbollah won that war, and there is tremendous expectation on Hezbollah to continue the struggle."   God’s Word is always fulfilled and more war is coming and it will come soon.  These events will set the stage to fulfill the remaining prophecies in Ezekiel and Isaish.   All I can do is tell you what God has warned.  I wish I could drag you into Jesus’ Salvation but that isn’t how it works.  Everyone must except Christ Jesus on their own.  Please look at what is written in scripture and what is currently taking place it was for our benefit that God give us this information before these thing took place.  God wants you to believe in Him and He has been demonstrating to us all that His Words all come to pass.  I don’t know for sure how much time will pass before we see these two last prophecies fulfilled but, I do know by all the rest of the signs that we are very close.  That means you have little time left to either give your life over to Christ or be left behind to enter into the 7-year tribulation.  The gift of Salvation is before us now as a free gift, but when the church is taken to heaven those left behind will be forced to die for Christ in order to enter into heaven.  This is the very reason why I spend so much time showing you all these facts concerning bible prophecy and current events.  I will do anything I can to help you see Jesus is real and He is in control.  Ask yourself this one question.  Where do you want to spend eternityc, with Jesus in heaven or in the flames of hell?

Ezekiel witnessed a powerful nation Russia leading a band of allies down against Israel in the last days.   Why do you think Russia who was broke, in debt, dependant on nations for help, starving, and without heat has come back to be one of the most powerful nations in the world again.  Not only are they powerful but they are the richest nation in the world and now have more oil than the Middle East.  Russia had to rise from the ashes inorder to fulfill God’s Word about them in Ezekeil 38-39.  There is no question Russia is flexing their new military power and is on a quest to control the Middle East.  I quote a short section from the (IsraelNN.com)  report. “Russia appears to be attempting to re-establish another Soviet Union, according to US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and America intends to nip the effort in the bud.  In remarks to journalists during her flight to Brussels for a meeting of the NATO Council, Rice noted Russia’s reluctance to fulfill its end of a ceasefire agreement negotiated by French President Nicolas Sarkozy a week ago.”

Prophecy Sign: Matthew 24:12 “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Iniquity is lawlessness.  2^nd Timothy 3: 1-5 men will become brutal.  Revelation chapter 9 we see the last generation known as the drug generation.  This prophecy has already been fulfilled in our generation, we are known as the drug generation. One of the major problems nations are having along with drug use is increased violence and crime.  Here is only a short glimpse of this reality.  Headlines in a Breitbart.com report on Aug 18, 2008 read as follows: 30 dead in worst weekend of Mexico violence this year”.
”More than 30 people died in the worst weekend of violence this year in the northern Mexico state of Chihuahua, the scene of daily drug gang turf wars, police said Monday.   Drug-related violence in Mexico has killed 2,682 people since the start of the year — nine more than in all of 2007 — with nearly half in Chihuahua state, daily El Universal reported Saturday.”  This society has turned out exactly as Jesus warned it would.  Drugs are everywhere and so is the violence that follows these drugs.  There has been so much crime and killing that people have become cold to it just as Jesus said they would.

Let me give you an example just how brutal people are becoming.  “An 85-year-old New York City woman was viciously beaten in an elevator — and the attack was caught on camera. The mugger jumped Lillian France, grabbed her by the throat and lifted her off the ground before running off with her purse and cane, according to FOX 5 News in New York. The footage was released this week. Police hope to catch the man who stalked the elderly lady and pounced on her. They're investigating whether he is the same suspect wanted in a series of Brooklyn robberies. "It's so senseless. There was absolutely no reason to assault her," her niece Claire France told FOX 5 News.” When you click on the link below you will see this attack on video.  This is the type of world Jesus warned us about and it is already upon us and will continue to get worse during the tribulation period.

Prophecy sign: Rev. 16:8-9, Matthew 24:7, Luke 21:11, and Mark 13:8.  These bible verses tell us in the last days the sun would scorch the earth and both the earth and man would be affected as result of the intense heat. Matthew, Luke, and Mark point out famines will come prior to the Lord’s return. Mark also points out when we see these signs “these are the beginning of birth pains”.  Contained in these same verses we also see that nation will rise against nation. Mark also stated “And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled for such things must needs be: but the end shall not be yet” (Mark 13:7). Ezekiel shows us one of these major wars in Ezekiel 38-39 and tells us Russia, Iran, Turkey, Iraq, and other Arabs nations will attack Israel.  All of these prophecies signs are in the news today.

Relief Web news had the following headline published on Aug. 15, 2008. “Severe drought and food price increases cause malnutrition and disease” According the RW report “Afghanistan is experiencing its most severe drought in eight years, with farming communities in the northern provinces being the hardest hit. In these areas where crops and livestock are dependent on rainfall rather than irrigation, an Afghan minister reported that 1.5 million people are in need of urgent humanitarian relief.”  Not only is the drought affecting so many people but Afghanistan has been a war since 2001.

Revelation talks about droughts, intense heat and the lack of fresh water. Mark, Luke, and Matthew also speak of famines and droughts in the last days.  Look at what 2,500 experts are talking about at the Stockholm, Sweden summit.  “While global attention has recently focused on energy and food, a global summit this week in Stockholm, Sweden, will tackle the key issue of water. The World Water Week meeting starts on Sunday and will hear renewed calls to solve growing challenges of sanitation, climate change and drinkable supplies. Sanitation in particular is one of the most important global issues.”  Christ warned of complex problems that would show up prior to His second coming.  Right now this planet is facing major droughts, water shortage, and major changes in the weather.  China is running out of clean drinking water. The report from the UK stated “By 2025, 1.8bn people will be living in regions with absolute water scarcity”.  Let’s review what Mark said would occur during the last generation. Mark pointed out when we see these signs “these are the beginning of birth pains”.  This generation is in the midst of these birth pains right now!  We are witnessing the birth pains of war, rumors of wars, famine, drought, weird weather changes, and intense heat.

News from Israel today gives us a glimpse of rumors of war and the nations involved in the report are the same nations Ezekiel warned us about in chapter 38.  For months both Israel and Iran have been exchanging rumors they are going to attack each other. Last month we saw Israel practice for a bombing raid on Iran.  A week after that news broke Iran in June launched dozens of missiles to demonstrate to Israel they could now hit Israel with their weapons.  Once again today we see pictures of Iranian planes ready and able to strike at the heart of Israel.  The Jerusalem Post today ran a report, which they entitled, “Iran says its warplanes are capable of reaching Israel. ”Iran claimed Sunday it has increased the range of its warplanes, allowing them to fly as far as Israel and back without refueling.”  Right now we are seeing part of the prophecy being fulfilled.  So far we are only hearing rumors these two nations are going to war soon, however in the near future both these nations will in fact fight each other and, that is where Ezekiel’s prophecy will be fulfilled.

For months I have been writing posts to show you America is losing her power as the top ranked superpower. Turkey, which is named in Ezekiel 38 as one of the nations that will attack Israel in the end times, made it in the news twice today. If you know prophecy you know these news reports reflect future events in prophecy.  Today the Turkish government recognizes the US has lost her power in world affairs.  In Chapter 1 of my book I explain the ‘New World Order’ that is coming and will be headed by the Antichrist.  I found it interesting that the report on Turkey was entitled, “Turkish Prez says US must share power in New World Order’.  I will let the report explain this for you.  “Days after Russia scored a stunning geopolitical victory in the Caucasus, President Abdullah Gül of Turkey said he saw a new multipolar world emerging from the wreckage of war.  The conflict in Georgia, Gül asserted, showed that the United States could no longer shape global politics on its own, and should begin sharing power with other countries.  "I don't think you can control all the world from one centre," Gül told the Guardian. "There are big nations. There are huge populations. There is unbelievable economic development in some parts of the world. So what we have to do is, instead of unilateral actions, act all together, make common decisions and have consultations with the world. A new world order, if I can say it, should emerge."

What the Turkish Preident said was all true.  America has lost much of her influence on the world stage.  Case and point, Russia invaded Georgia this week.  What has the most powerful nation in the world done about it?  Nothing.  The US can’t do anything about it because we are no match any longer against Russia unless America drops a nuclear bomb on the Russian troops and we know that is not going to take place.  You must understand what this is all about.  Russia is the main supplier of gas and oil to Turkey.  When Russia invaded Georgia this week Turkey’s gas and oil flow from Russia was cut off.  What has no happened is “The geopolitical turmoil in the Caucusus — a region between Europe and Asia that includes the nations of Georgia and Turkey — has placed Turkey in a difficult position between pleasing its neighbor Russia and not hurting its relationship with the US.”  Since Ezekiel told us Turkey would invade Israel with Russia in the end times, we know that Turkey will choose Russia over the US, mainly because Russia has all the oil in the world and the US is dependant on foreign oil.  America has become a weak nation in part because US. Liberals in our government will not let us remove oil

that is just sitting there ready to be extracted.  Everything we now see in the news is driving us to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39.  This section of the report sums it up best. “Russia's message in the five-day clashes in the Caucasus was clear: The region is still the backyard of Moscow, which is the main actor that would ensure the energy supply security for Europe.  In other words the sudden spark in the conflict that brought Georgia to its heels, reasserted Russia's claim as the dominant force in the region, and dealt a blow to the U.S. prestige.  News in the headlines today also read as follows: “Ahmadinejad: Iran, Turkey, Syrian and Iraq hold talks continuously”. I quote, “We are four neighboring countries, with shared cultures and civilizations and very broad beliefs. We think there are enough issues to necessitate for ontinuous' holding of continuous four-sided talks-the economic, cultural, political, security, joint investment, campaign against terrorism and organized crime are among the issues that make it necessary for the four countries to hold talks continuously, and to act harmoniously with one another."  Notice the words economic and security is in red.  Do you find it strange that Ezekiel said Turkey, Iran, and Iraq would form an alliance in the last days with Russia and they would all invade Israel?  Syria who was mentioned in the above report is also mentioned in Isaiah 17:1.  If Israel bombs Iran’s nuclear power plant in the near future as they say they are, then the economic and security of all these nations will be threatened.   Iran is a major oil producer in the region, if Israel through their bombing of the nuclear plant stops the flow of oil, it would upset the whole region.  Since Russia is a major ally of these nations they would be forced take sides with their partners.  As a result we could see these nations turn on Israel.  It is very possible this is how the Ezekiel war may start.

Syria who is mentioned in Isaiah 17:1 has just announced that Lebanon expects full diplomatic ties with Syria within 2 months
”Lebanon's foreign minister said Saturday he expects diplomatic ties with Syria to be fully established and ambassadors to be exchanged within two months”. This is important to prophecy as well because Ezekiel told us the coming attack against Israel would come from the north parts. I quote Ezekiel 38:15. “And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with three”.  Syria has allies in Lebanon who also hate Israel, they are called Hezbullah. Notice Syria would only form full diplomatic ties if Hezbullah played an important role.  “Syria agreed to the diplomatic steps only after a Lebanese unity government was formed Tuesday that gives the Syrian-allied militant Hezbullah group a strong say in Lebanon's decision-making”.  Last summer Syria and Hezbullah based in Lebanon went to war with Israel.  It was a short-lived battle.  At the current time Syria and the Hezbullah have been rearming themselves for the next war against Israel.

Rumors of war between Hezbullah groups and their Syrian allies are spreading throughout the Middle East.  Israel at the current time is beefing up their military to their north.  I can only tell you what the prophecies say about the coming future, I can’t make you believe it.  I do know this, everything Jesus warned us about is taking place right now.  Every sign the Lord warned us about is in our face!  It would be wise to believe the Word of God, because soon you will see the Syrian’s attack Israel again.  Not only will Syria engage in a war with Israel but the rest of the nations listed in the Ezekiel prophecy will come down from the north as well.  God told us that He would defeat the armies, which come against Israel.  We are running out of time before these battles take place. Christians watch the news because our redemption is very close.  I pray you who still don’t believe in the Word of God would open your hearts to Christ before it is to late.  You do not want to be left behind on this planet to face the Antichrist, but that is what will happen.  Anyone who has not taken Christ as their Savior will be left behind.

Prophecy sign Matthew 24:7 Diseases.  On July 29, 2008 a reported was issued with the headline that read, “New bird flu strain detected” We were told in that report the “Nigerian authorities have reported a fresh outbreak of the deadly H5N1 bird flu virus in the northern states of Katsina and Kano, the official Nan news agency said on Tuesday. The virus was confirmed through tests on affected birds on a poultry farm in Kano State and it has killed 4,249 birds, Nan quoted a state agriculture official as saying.  In a previous post I talked about how Jesus in the book of Revelation shows us that millions of people will die do to disease.  The H5N1 bird flu could end up being one of those major diseases that will end up spreading throughout the world.  As it stands now the disease is making its way to nations who did not have this disease in the country.  So far this type of bird flu is killing primarily birds but it is spreading to humans.  What health officials are worried about is if this disease begins to spread from human to human instead of from birds to humans.  

In a more recent report from Rome we learned that “Scientists have detected for the first time in Nigeria a new strain of the virus that causes avian influenza – also known as bird-flu – a UN agency announced on Tuesday. The find comes in the wake of Nigeria recently reporting two new Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza outbreaks in the states of Katsina and Kano, the Rome-based UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) said”.  Officials are testing the disease to see if this new strain will be the type that will be easier to spread from human to human.  In another section of that report is stated, “The detection of a new avian influenza virus strain in Africa raises serious concerns as it remains unknown how this strain has been introduced to the continent," FAO Animal Health Service International Wildlife Co-ordinator, Scott Newman, said.”  Health officials are trying to keep the disease contained and the report told us, "Many countries have succeeded in getting the virus under control, but as long as avian influenza remains endemic in some countries, the international community needs to be on alert. Both at risk and affected countries have to keep a high level of surveillance,".

No one can say for sure if this is one of the diseases Jesus referred to in the book of Revelation however, knowing what the health officials say could happen if this bird flu starts spreading from human to human, it just may be one of those diseases.

Prophecy Sign: Matthew 24:7 Earthquakes in many places.  Two days ago there was a 6.2 earthquake reported from New Zealand. “A strong earthquake struck near the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu, but there were no immediate reports of damage and no tsunami warning was issued.”  This quake was one of many of the big quakes reported in late July and early August.  More are coming”.

Prophecy sign: Ezekiel 38 shows us a war against Israel and Iran is one of many nations that will attack Israel in the end times.  Prophecy sign Isaiah 17:1 destruction of Damascus. Isaiah showed us around the same time as Ezekiel’s war against Israel takes place Syria will also go to war against Israel and in the end Damascus will be completely destroyed.  In a recent Debka report we see signs that both Iran and Syria are coming together against Israel.  “Debkafile’s military sources disclose that Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps have created a separate missile command, in which Syria’s missile force is to be integrated. The joint command was formalized in a new mutual defense treaty signed by the Syrian defense minister, Gen. Hassan Turkmani in Tehran last week. Israeli military sources judge the operational merger of Iranian and Syrian missile corps to be a major strategic hazard to the Jewish state. Western and Israeli military experts connect it with other indications that Iran’s program for developing missiles capable of delivering nuclear payloads has gone into high gear and reached an advanced stage. They believe the Iranians have beaten most of the technical difficulties holding it up (Debkafile Aug. 11, 2008).  “Tehran also views Syria’s co-option and the new mutual defense treaty as a sort of guarantee that Assad’s “peace talks” with Israel will in no way detract from his military and other commitments to Iran” (Ibid.). In other words, it is all right that Syria is talking peace with Israel as long as Syria will join Iran when they attack Israel.  The new defense treaty will take priority over any peace talks.  Please notice this missile partnership has reached the advanced stage.  Israel’s secret service knows everything that is taking place between Syria and Iran and they are getting ready for war!  Israel's Haaretz newspaper reported that Washington recently rejected an Israeli request for military equipment that US officials said indicated Israel was at the "advanced stages" of preparing an attack.”  Israel has tried to get the UN to stop Iran’s nuclear plans without any results.  A year ago Israel bombed Syria’s nuclear plant and Syria has been waiting for the right time to strike against Israel for what they did.  When you put all these prophecies together, you see where we are headed.  We have reached a crisis point where both side have reach the advanced stages of an attack.  It is no mistake or fluke that both Syria and Iran have joined forces and is getting ready to strike at Israel. Jesus in Matthew 24 told us wars would come before He returned.  In Ezekiel 38 God shows us one of these major wars that will take place against Israel.  Isaiah showed us the other major war concerning the destruction of Damascus.  Put all these current events together and lay them side by side with the prophecies and you get a clear picture as to what is about to take place.

When you read Ezekiel chapter 38 you will learn God told us the attack on Israel will come from the North.  Recent developments in Syria and Lebanon again show us signs Ezekiel’s words are coming to pass.  I quote, “In the interim, Hizballah’s rise to power in Beirut has brought Lebanon into the shared Syrian-Iranian orbit. This development has enabled Tehran to line up a row of missiles deployments of varying strengths from Iran, Syria and Lebanon and up to the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip – a missile array never before seen in the Middle East and a strategic menace most of Israel’s security leaders rate unacceptable”.  Every nation who is to come against Israel is positioning themselves for this coming attack.  Israel knows the missiles have been deployed just to the North of them and as you read from the breitbart report this is unacceptable to Israel.  Israel is going to move very soon to take care of both the nuclear threat in Iran and the hundreds of missiles just to the North of them in Lebanon and Syria.

I want to leave you with this very important promise from Jesus Christ.  He told us, “Pray always that you be accounted worthy to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:36).  There is a strong indication that those who are not keeping on the watch as Christ warned us to will miss being raptured.  If you read what Jesus taught on this subject you will know if you are ready to meet Jesus when He calls us home.

Please take notice that in Rev. 3:3 Jesus tells the church at Sardis which was considered a dead church to repent from their ways and to WATCH, or what? I quote, “I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.”  Jesus is speaking to the dead church.  What he is telling us here is that, He only comes to the dead church as a thief, not an alert and alive church, they will not be caught off guard.  In Rev. 3:17-18 Jesus is now speaking to the church of Laodicea.  This is another church that is not ready and Jesus calls this church a luke warm church. What happens to a luke warm church? Jesus in Rev. 3:16 says, “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor not, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”   Notice in those verses Jesus tells them to go and buy white raiment “that thou mayest  be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear.”  What most people don’t understand is what this white raiment really means.  Another important fact is Jesus tell them in verse 18 to anoint your eyes with eye salve that you may see. Now I want to tie in what is written in Revelation 16 15. This will become clear to you why you have to make the connection.  Rev. 16:15 says, “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”  Lets go back to Jewish traditions a law for a second and I will show you how this all fits in.  During the time that the Jewish Temple was standing the High Priest and the captain of the guard were known as “The thief in the night” and, this is why.  There were watch posts at the Temple were the priests had to be watching.  One of the things they had to watch for was that the fire on the alter would not go out.  This was a Godly fire that fell on the alter and it was commanded by God that this fire never go out.  The priest had to watch this fire.  If a priest was caught asleep and the captain of the guard came and saw the priest asleep he would take his torch which was set by the alter fire and set the priests garments on fire with his torch.  The priest would then run through the Temple tearing off the garments that were on fire and, the shame of the priest nakedness would appear. Now you see how Rev. 16: 15 ties in.   Now when you go back and read (1st Thessalonians 5:1-4) where Paul say, “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” You now know what is meant by the phrase, “as a thief in the night”.  In other words when Jesus comes back and finds you asleep and not on the watch you will end up like the priest, running in your nakedness and in shame because you were not ready for His visitation.

Now lets look at Matthew 25: 1-13. Jesus here is talking to two group of virgins.  One group was ready and on the watch and, prepare for the bridegroom to come. This is a picture of the church  doing the will of the Father and keeping on the watch. Jesus here is again showing the Jewish wedding and His coming for His bride.  Jesus said 5 virgins were ready and had oil in their lamps when the bridegroom came.  Notice the bridegroom  here comes at midnight as the custom in Jewish wedding, notice also he comes with a shout as is the custom. The 5 who were ready went in to be with the bridegroom and the door was shut.  This is what will happen at the rapture of the church which we now believe will take place during the Feast of Trumpets on this Jewish Holiday. This is why it is so important to keep on the Watch at all times, especially during the Jewish Feasts.  What about the other 5 virgins who were not ready to go out to the bridegroom when He came at midnight. Jesus tells us they didn’t prepare. These 5 virgins did not have oil in their lamps when He came at midnight so they had to go and buy oil to light the way. However, when they came back to the door of the bridegroom the door was shut and the Lord said “Verily I say unto you. I know you not”. This is a picture of  all the people who were not on the watch and are kept outside the door of safety with the Lord. These 5 unprepared virgins is a picture of the all the people who will find themselves in the 7 year tribulation because they like the priests at the Temple fell asleep and they will be found as a thief in the night and become naked and ashamed. 

Now look at the message Jesus gave about the good servants and the evil servants found in Luke 12. Verses :37-40 is the message to the good servant. “Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.  Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.”  In Luke 12: 41-41 Jesus is now talking to the evil servants who were not doing the will of the Father, they were not watching for the thief in the night.  Jesus said to these evil servants, “The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.”. These are the people who know better, they know the Lord’s will but they are not doing the Lord’s will. The next verse tells us in verse 47, “And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.”  Are there so called believers who are not abiding in Christ today and are not doing the will of the Father?  There are millions of them!  These people we are told by Jesus that they knew His will yet didn’t  follow His will.  I speak with people who tell me they are Christians all the time, but upon questioning them about Christ and His will they haven’t a clue what I am taking about, nor they don’t see the importance of keeping on the watch as Jesus warned in so many places in His Word.  In verse 41 Peter asks Jesus straight out, are you speaking this parable to us, or even to all?  So his question goes to the core of the question  who is the evil servant.  Jesus answered Peter by telling him of the evil servants do not do the will of the Father.  Once again we see a group of people being split in half. First there was the 10 virgins, 5 were wise and ready, 5 were not and were unprepared. Now we see good servants watching and doing the will of the Father who will be blessed, compare to the other half, the evil servants who know God’s will but are not doing His will and are not keeping watch, they are beaten.

Now let me ask you again, are you keeping on the Watch?
