Prophecy Sign: 1 Thessalonians 5:3 says, "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. If you aren't aware, the call for Peace and Safety began I believe in 1977 when President Jimmy Carter managed to get the Leaders of Israel and Egypt to sign a peace agreement between their two nations. This agreement has held in place since the signing. However, the second part of this prophecy which informs us that while they are still calling for peace and safety sudden destruction will come.    Right now the peace talks have stopped because Israel has invaded the Gaza to put a stop to the Hamas rocket attacks on Israel.  Today we found ou that "US  president-elect Barack Obama said in an interview broadcast Sunday he will create a special team that will engage in Middle East peace efforts immediately after he takes office on January 20. "What I am doing right now is putting together the team so that on January 20th, starting on day one, we have the best possible people who are going to be immediately engaged in the Middle East peace process as a whole," he said in an interview with ABC's This Week program."

In my posts in 2008 I warned you not only will you keep hearing the call for peace and safety but that their would be another conflict in Israel soon. As you now know this conflict is currently raging and getting bigger in the Gaza Strip. While the fighting is going on nations everywhere are trying to get the people fighting back to the peace table.

If you love our Lord you should really be keeping your eyes on these events because when the nations finally realize that the peace talks are not going any where Israel will be attacked just as the Word of the Lord warned us.  Look for Syria to become more hostile towards Israel. I believe soon Syria will also engage in the conflict against Israel as well. One of the few prophecies left to be fulfilled is the destruction of Damascus and Syria which is found in Isaiah 17: 1. According to the Prophet Daniel their will be a peace covenant signed with Israel and many nations but I believe this signing will happen after Israel is invaded as recorded in Ezekiel chapters 38-39.  I believe as soon as this invasion takes place the Antichrist will step in and confirm this 7 year peace agreement (covenant).  In the mean time President elect Obama will do just as all the other U.S. Presidents have done since President Jimmy Carter, he will try to get a peace plan signed.

Prophecy Sign: In Matthew chapter 24 Jesus warned us that the last generation alive when He returned will have become a generation just like Noah's generation.  Our generation has become a carbon copy of Noah'g generation. During Noah's time homosexuality was running wild and we are witnessing the same thing taking place in our world today. The homosexual movement is growing just as it did back then. Our society is trying to make people think this type of life style should be excepted as normal.  The Word of God obviously disagrees with the world standards. Fact is, part of the reason why God sent the world flood during Noah's time was judgment against this type of sin against God. Companies are now getting engaged in reaching out to the gays. What is the real reason for them doing this. Money!  Companies know there is much money to be made from the gays and that is the real reason why they won't back down from sending groups asking them not to support this type of life style. In the news today is one such example, "Despite being pressured by traditional family advocates to stop, Campbell's Soup Company, maker of Swanson's brand broth, has vowed to continue spending its advertising dollars in pro-homosexual publications. As WND reported earlier, the American Family Association objected to a Swanson's broth magazine ad that depicts a lesbian couple and their son. The ad was placed in the December 2008 and January 2009 issues of The Advocate, a magazine that touts itself with the line, "For 40 years, setting the standard in LGBT journalism." Homosexuality isn't the only thing that will cause this judgment, but it is one of those traits that were found in the people at the time of Noah's generation.

Why is this subject so important?  Because our Lord Jesus told us when we saw this sign He would return. There were other major signs we were told we would see at the same time which would without a doubt warn every person on the watch for Christ that He is about to come and remove His followers. We we to see Israel reborn, they already are. We were to see at the same time a army of 200 million from the East rise in the same generation and now China has a army of exactly 200 million. We were to see the world begin to turn against Israel and that is happening right now. We were told our generation would be know as the drug generation and we have been labeled just that. We were told in Daniel chapter 12:4 that we would also be know a the generation of increased knowledge and we today have also been labeled the generation who has gain more knowledge than any in history. We were told that Israel in that same generation would again take Jerusalem out of the hands of the gentiles and in 1967 Jerusalem was taken over by the Jews.  We were warned that the issue of Jerusalem would become a burdensome stone to anyone dealing with this city and the main reason why no final peace agreement has been reached it because Israel will not give up Jerusalem. We were told that during this time we would witness huge storms and many earthquakes and for the past two years this planet has found itself in major crisis as a result of huge earthquakes and many recorded breaking storms. I could could go on but would you believe?  For the first time in history everyone of the signs Jesus warned us about is taking place right now. You are mistaking to think judgment isn't coming. There is a way out for Christ has provided a way to safety just as our Lord provided a way of safety for Noah and anyone else who would choose to walk with God before the worldwide flood came. During Noah's time the safety was Noah's Ark. During this generation your safety will come from Christ Jesus as you receive Him as your Savior for He is our Ark.

Prophecy Sign: Matthew chapte 24 warns about the diseases that will come upon man in the last days. A few days ago I gave you some facts on recent news about the bird flu disease. Today there is more news about another disease making its way in Africa. I quote, "Tanzania has announced Sunday that it was closely monitoring the propagation of the deadly ebola virus in neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and that it was taking measures to contain the disease in case of outbreak. On Thursday, Angola tightened border restrictions with the DR Congo where an outbreak of the virus is believed to have infected 40 people and killed 13."

Prophecy Sign: Revelation chapter 13 and chapter 17 and Daniel chapter 9 show us a new Roman Empire would be born again in the last days and one man would rule in Europe just the way Cesar ruled in the Old Roman Empire.  This leader would end up ruling over the entire world and would take over the economics of the world as well. Under this leaders rule he would be able to control what you buy or sell.  Jesus warned that when this man comes, he will force his mark in everyone's skin, without this mark you won't be able to buy any thing or sell anything.

We know that part of this prophecy has already be completed because the European Union is the reborn modern day Roman Empire. The U.N. is almost a carbon copy of the same nations that used to be in the Old Roman Empire.  At the present time the E.U. is looking to install a full time President over all of Europe, those 27 nations which belong to the EU.  There was news about this issue today and I quote, "Tony Blair, the former UK prime minister, is re-emerging as a possible choice to be the European Union’s first full-time president after four momentous crises reinforced the argument for having a high-profile international personality in the job. According to EU officials and diplomats, the impressive performance of Nicolas Sarkozy, France’s president, during his six-month spell in charge of the EU last year has strengthened the hand of those who say a big name should guide the 27-nation bloc."  I wanted to present these facts to you because I believe very soon the EU is going to finally have their full time President.  You can count on this taking place because Jesus showed us this was going to happen.  The Antichrist will rise up from the EU and make his way to this newly created position. Watch the news and see how the global economic crisis is going to help speed up this process. Europe is going to be looking for that strong figure to help them with the failing economic situation which has already begun to spread do to the decline of America's economy.

The day is coming when many of you will regret not believing our Lord's warnings. I know I can not reach and lead all of you to Christ for many of you will refuse to except our Lord's truth about  His coming back.  However, many of you will opened up your hearts today to Christ and walk into Christ and His safety.  I pray if you are reading this, you are one of those people who will turn to Christ for Salvation. It has been a blessing for me to lead many of you to my Savior but I know the days to receive our Lord's free gift of Salvation are coming to a close. Do not take the chance of being left behind when the Lord removes His believers. Those who refused Noah's call to come to the Salvation of God tried to make their way to safety on the Ark but it was to late for them. Don't let the same thing happen to you.  What we are witnessing in the news is all connected to prophecy and it is real. Christ is coming and He is coming soon!

Prophecy Sign: Ezekiel 38:5 shows us Libya will be one of the nations who attacks Israel in the last days. Go back and read my previous posts where I warn you to watch for news coming out of Libya. I told you, you will begin to hear Gadhafi talk about attacking Israel. In the news today we got a clear picture of things to come from Ezekiel 38:5. I quote,  "The protests coincided with a call from Libyan President Moammar Gadhafi for Arab countries to allow their citizens to fight the Israelis in Gaza — the strongest such push by an Arab leader since Israel began its operation against the militant Palestinian group Hamas two weeks ago."  What you heard from the Libyan President is a sign that Libya will soon join forces with the other nations listed in Ezekiel to attack Israel

Prophecy Sign: Matthew chapter 24 you will find the warning that many earthquakes will be seen at the same time all the other signs are also taking place.  The string of big quakes has continued today. I qoute, "The 6.1 magnitude quake in this Central American country on Thursday near the Poas volcano, a major tourist draw, caused widespread panic and damage. Rescue workers rushed to try to free about 600 people, roughly half foreign tourists, trapped in Costa Rica on Friday after boulders and earth buried mountain roads in a strong earthquake that left at least four people dead". Today so far there

Prophecy Sign: Matthew chapter 24 also tells us watch for diseases. If you read my book you will see I warned to watch for more diseases that will be harder to control.  Sicknesses that were once easyly control are now changing and it is causing concern. Here is one example from today's news. "Virtually all the flu in the United States this season is resistant to the leading antiviral drug Tamiflu, and scientists and health officials are trying to figure out why. The problem is not yet a public health crisis because this has been a below-average flu season so far and the chief strain circulating is still susceptible to other drugs — but infectious disease specialists are worried nonetheless."

There was also another example of what I am taling about in the news out of Europe. "The number of cases of the measles have sharply risen in Europe, with more than 6,000 people affected in the first nine months of 2008 alone, casting doubts over a target to eradicate the disease by 2010, a new report has shown. Of the some 12,000 cases reported from 2006-2007, including seven deaths, most were in Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Italy and Romania."

Prophecy Sign: Daniel chapter 12 you will learn that the lat generation living at the time Jesus returns will be known as the generation of knowledge.  Chapter 3 of my book I describe in detail how our generation has fulfilled this prophecy.  Here is a example of how much knowloge we have gotten. " (Reuters) – U.S. scientists have found a way to levitate the very smallest objects using the strange forces of quantum mechanics, and said on Wednesday they might use it to help make tiny nanotechnology machines. Prophecy Sign: Isaiah 17:1 warns in the last days Damascus is goin to be destroyed. The city of Damascus has never in it's history been destroyed and it is the oldest city mentioned in the bible.  This propcy is going to be fulfilled soon.  We also know from Ezekiel chapter 38-39 that Iran will attack Israel in the last days.  If you wath the Middle East you can witness the events that are leading up to fulfilling both prophecies.  For example, a few days ago we read, "Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani visited Damascus on Wednesday to discuss ways to stop the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip, according to Middle Eastern media reports. Larijani met Syrian President Bashar Assad and Syrian Parliament Speaker Mahmoud Abrash on "ways to stop the military operation in the Gaza Strip" according to the Lebanese newspaper al-Mustaqbal. The newspaper also reported that Larijani visited Khaled Mashaal to discuss ways to "offer humanitarian and moral assistance to the Gaza Strip." Larijani said Sunday that Gaza would become a "graveyard for Zionists" after Israel launched its ground operation." All these events are the birthpain Jesus told us we would see.

What is taking place in the Gaza Stripe right now could cause the attack on Israel.  The other factor that could cause the Russian lead attack along with Iran could be if Israel bombing Iran's nuclear power plant. Right now Iran feels good about Israel being occopied with Hamas in Gaza, and here is why.  "Iran has reason to be satisfied with the conflict in Gaza as it draws attention away from the country's nuclear program, Brig.-Gen. (res) Yossi Kuperwasser, former head of the Research and Assessment Division of Military Intelligence, told diplomats and foreign correspondents in Jerusalem on Wednesday." We need to kept our eyes on events between Israel and Iran because Israel is going to be forced to deal with Iran's nuclear site soon. " What is taking place in the Gaza right now has to do a lot with Iran and Isrel knows this. This is why.  "The Iranians are clearly behind this operation because they supplied Hamas with money and weapons that enabled Hamas to be where they are," he said."  Our world is becoming a much more dangerous place and the birthpains are beginning to increase.

Prophecy Sign: Daniel chapter 2 and chapter 7 shows us in the end times the Roman Empire will be reborn and they will dominate the world headed by the Antichrist.  This means that the current world superpowers will decline to fulfill this prophecy.  For most of 2008 I showed you and warned you what to look for in America as far as her declining goes.  One of the things I warned you months ago was the unemployment rate would climb to numbers not seen since the Great Depression.  We haven't reached that point yet but it is coming. Today the new news on the unemployment rate was released by (Reuters). I quote, "The unemployment rate surged to its highest level in nearly 16 years in December as a deepening economic slump forced companies to slash payrolls by more than half a million jobs. The Labor Department said on Friday the national unemployment rate rose to 7.2 percent in December, the highest level since January 1993, beating analysts forecast for a reading of 7.0 percent. The jobless rate was 6.8 percent in November."  Soon the reborn Roman Empire which has been fulfilled through the European Union will be the sole world leader just as God showed Daniel.  It is alright if you don't believe me right now, but when you see what I have said come to pass, please ask Jesus to be your Savior. Why have I told you this? Because the sign of America's decline means the rise of the E.U. which means the Antichrist is about to enter on the world stage.  What this means to those who haven't taken Christ as their Savior yet is, you are taking the chance of missing the rapture of the Church.  If you miss this blessing, you will be left behind to face the Antichrist and the 7 years of tribulation that is about to start.

For those of you who have been coming to my site on a regular bases you know I warned you to watch for more news talking about a New World Order.  This is the new World Order that Jesus told us the Antichrist would control from the reborn Roman Empire or what we know today as the European Union.  Well, there was more news about this today. Author of over a dozen books on foreign policy, Kissinger was also named by President Bush as the chairman of the Sept. 11 investigatory commission. Prophecy Signs: Matthew 24: 7 speaks to us about the warning of diseases in the last days.  This sign will be seen as all the other signs are taking place at the same time.  Last year I warned you to keep your eyes on news about the Bird Flu.  We just started the new year with 36 big earthquakes and January 4, 2009 ”just when you thought you could scratch bird flu off your list of things to worry about in 2009, the deadly H5N1 virus has resurfaced in poultry in Hong Kong for the first time in six years, reinforcing warnings that the threat of a human pandemic isn't over. India, Bangladesh, Vietnam and mainland China also experienced new outbreaks in December. During the same period, four new human cases — in Egypt, Cambodia and Indonesia — were reported to the World Health Organization. A 16-year-old girl in Egypt and a 2-year-old girl in Indonesia have died.”

Prophecy Signs: Matthew chapter 24.  With in this chapter Jesus told Matthew in the last days many earthquakes would come and it would be a sign to get ready to meet him.  I have kept you up to date as to what nations are rocking.  News just in on January 4, 2009 reported “A strong earthquake shook northeastern Afghanistan and Pakistan early Monday, sending people running from their homes, but there were no immediate reports of damage, witnesses and officials said. The 6.0-magnitude quake struck at 3:43 am (23:13 GMT Sunday), around 275 kilometres (170 miles) northeast of the Afghan capital Kabul and near the border with Pakistan, the US Geological Survey said.”

I have been getting ready for my speaking engagements in Rochester and haven’t posted much since the end of December but here is what has happened since I stopped posting.  Since Jan. 1, 2009 there have already been 36 big quakes hitting at least magnitude 5 and above.  We also saw quakes hitting 7.4 and 7.6, these are huge quakes.

Prophecy Sign: Revelation chapter 18.  On Feb. 15, 2008 I warned you what to look for in the near future concerning the price of gold. I pointed you to what the Lord told us in the book of Revelation chapter 18.  Please go back and read the Feb. post.   I also gave you insights on other items such a wheat prices.  I hope to God you have been paying attention to the U.S. economy and what is now happening with gold?  In a recent entitled,” Woes on Wall Street coincide with gold coin rush” written by Sandy Shore  a  AP Business Writer. Here article was published on Dec. 24^th.  Today Dec. 28 this article appeared in the news again. I quote, “DENVER — Investors who have forsaken shaky financial markets for the safety of gold must feel a little bit like prospectors. As the worst recession in at least a generation spreads, so too does the clamor for gold bars and coins, assets less likely to go up on smoke like so many derivatives and asset-backed securities. "I've never seen a case where demand was so high and supply was so short," said Chicago coin dealer Harlan Berk, who has been in the business 44 years.”

 I informed you all that I was getting ready to do speaking engagements in N.Y and I would only write if something of major importance broke.  Well today that happen in the Middle East and it is something I have been warning you about.

Prophecy Sign: Isaiah 17:1warns us that Syria willl engage in a war and Damascus will be destroyed.  Ezekiel 38 warns us Russia will lead an invasion on Israel and some of her allies will be Iran, Libya, and Turkey.  We are sure what will cause these wars to break out but I have been warning you to pay attention to Iran, Syria, and Israels enemies in the Gaza.  One of the things I have been warning you all about is that Israel will engage in another conflict with Syria and Syria allies which include Hamas and Hezbollah.  For the past 3 weeks the Hamas have been firing rockets into Israel.  Today Israel has responded. I quote, " Israeli F-16 bombers have pounded key targets across the Gaza Strip, killing at least 225 people, local medics say.Most of those killed were policemen in the Hamas militant movement, which controls Gaza, but women and children also died, the Gaza officials said. About 700 others were wounded, as missiles struck security compounds and militant bases, the officials added. Israeli PM Ehud Olmert said the operation "may take some time"- but he pledged to avoid a humanitarian crisis. "It's not going to last a few days,'' he said in a televised statement, flanked by Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni. Israel said it was responding to an escalation in rocket attacks from Gaza and would bomb "as long as necessary".

We need to keep our eyes on what is happening in this region.  Things could get out of hand.  If you watch the news video with the report you will see the Hamas is asking for their Arabs Brothers to come to their aid.  If Syria responds to the call this may be the time Syria is taken out and Isaiah's prophecy about Syria and Damascus could be fulfilled.  It could also turn even worse and Russia may respond because Syria is a one of their very close allies.  The could be another labor pain as Jesus warned us about or it could be the steps which will bring on the Ezekiel war.

Guess where the leader of Hamas is calling for a new up rising against Israel?  He is in Damascus with his Sryian friends. A report today stated, "(IsraelNN.com) Hamas leader Khalid Mashaal called Saturday night for a "third intifada" against Israel, speaking from Damascus following the IAF attack on Gaza earlier in the day."

Knowing what the Prophet Isaiah said about the destruction of Damascus, any time Syria directs statements towards Israel I pay attention.  DAMASCUS, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) — Syria condemned on Saturday the Israeli military strikes on the Gaza Strip as a "heinous crime and convicted terrorist act," the official SANA news agency reported.     "Syria follows, with deep concern, the brutal Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people in Gaza and stresses that what is going on is a heinous crime and convicted terrorist act," an official source was quoted as saying.     "Syria condemns this appalling crime and calls on the Arab nations and the international community to use all available means to pressure Israel to stop this aggression immediately, allow the transfer of the injured and insure them the medical care, and open all crossings to allow access of foodstuffs and health needs to the besieged Palestinian people," added the source.  You should expect things to get much more intense from here on.

Russia and Turkey have also jumped in on condemning Israel's attack.  Keep in mind both Russia and Turkey are mentioned as nations who will attack Israel in the last days.  I quote, "Moscow added its voice Saturday to calls for an immediate end to Middle East violence after the Israeli airstrikes that left scores dead in the Gaza Strip. Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrei Nesterenko called on Israel to end its 'combat activities which have already led to great loss and suffering among the peaceful Palestinian population."

More news broke on Dec. 28^th concerning Syria and Turkey. “(IsraelNN.com) Syria notified Turkey on Sunday that it was ceasing all indirect negotiations with Israel following the Air Force operation against Hamas installations in Gaza, according to Turkish sources cited by the Syrian Cham Press news agency. Last week, Syria said it was suspending the talks pending elections in Israel and the inauguration of Barack Obama as President of the United States. Cham Press added that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was also suspending his contacts with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. In confirming Sunday's report, Erdogan called the Israeli air strikes "a blow to the peace initiative at a time when we're making significant efforts on its behalf." Erdogan called the attack on Gaza "a crime against humanity" and called for it to end immediately. He called the Gaza operation "a sign of disrespect towards Turkey."

I will be honest with you all.  I did not want to write anything today.  I much rather report nothing but good news but many of you know the state of the world.  As we close out 2008 many of you may be saying, “ what a terrible year”.  This year many of you came out of your Christian sleep and have begun to take notice of the things Jesus warned us.  For that, I give thanks.  Many of you have written me telling me you have given your life to Christ and are now trusting Him in these last days.  When I read these emails, I break down and cry. God has truly blessed me.  I can’t wait for the day when I enter heaven and see all the people Jesus has let me touch.  To me 2008 has been a blessing.  We are going to face some real hard times in 2009, but we will never be alone.  Christ promised if we seek His Kingdom first everything else would be added to us.  Those of us who have already taken Jesus as our Savior have hope for what is coming.  I pray to God you are one of those people.  I am getting prepared for my speaking engagements in Rochester on Sunday Jan. 11, and 14^th so I won’t be writing much until Jan. 20^th.  I wanted to tell you all that I love you and wish you a very Merry Christmas.  I look forward to serving you all in the New Year.

A few months ago I asked you to keep your eyes on what happens to California.  What takes places in California usually is a meter to what will happen to the rest of the states.  Today we learned “A California official is warning that the state will run out of money in about two months unless a budget deal is struck.  State Controller John Chiang said Monday that his office could be forced to defer billions of dollars in payments or issue IOUs. He says the instability of the banking industry has made borrowing money to bridge the gap an uncertain possibility.”

Just how bad are things in California.  One report stated, “I lost hope about finding work," the 54-year-old illegal immigrant said outside a Home Depot store as he entered his fourth straight week without a job. "I'm homesick. It's best to leave." Thousands of Latin American immigrants both legal and illegal are going back home as the economic crisis in the United States causes jobs to dry up in the construction, landscaping and restaurant industries. The flow of immigrants back across the border tends to be cyclical, with many people going back home for the Christmas holidays. But some authorities say they are seeing a bigger-than-usual reverse-immigration effect this year.”  Everything you just read about is adding to the superpower shift, which the prophet Daniel saw for the last times.

I pray to God that everyone in the U.S. is getting ready to the dollar to crash.  I know this is scary but it is going to happen.  Jesus warned us that ten kings will give over their power to the Antichrist when he rises from the revived Roman Empire.  We believe those ten kings are the ten leaders of the Western European Union or (WEU) which is part of the European Union.  Please pray for America, she is going to need it soon.

Even the stable companies are cutting back. "Federal Express’s decision this week to force its salaried workers to take at least a 5 percent pay cut and to suspend its 401(k) match isn’t just bad news for the shipping giant’s employees. One thing that takes place during hard times is the crime rate rises and people do things they normally wouldn’t do.  For example, “Jim Cahill who is a loss prevention general manager said “shoplifting has increased nearly 60 percent from mid-September through mid-December compared with the same period in 2007. Consider it another sign of the times. There are the pressures of the holidays.”  “Shoplifters and employees who steal walked away with $34.8 billion in 2007, or an average of $350 per U.S. household, according to the National Retail Federation in Washington, D.C. The shoplifting portion is estimated at $12 billion. As the economy has worsened in the last few months, some retailers say they are seeing that figure grow 5 to 20 percent.  “People have lost their jobs. They’re paying more for gas. They are getting calls from bill collectors on their home or car. Everything seems to go wrong,” said Joseph LaRocca, vice president of loss prevention for the retail federation.”  Lets not kid ourselves, this is one of the reasons why the U.S. government is training troops to stop riots.  When the dollar collapses millions of people who are not prepared will do what ever it takes to feed their families and themselves. Be wise and find out what you can do now to get ready.
