What did Jesus mean when he warned the following: 2 Thessalonians 2:11 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” This verse comes in the context of discussing those who refuse to believe in the truth of the Gospel and instead choose to follow falsehoods and deceit. It suggests that God allows or permits a powerful delusion to befall those who reject the truth, leading them further away from it and towards believing lies. This is seen as a form of judgment or consequence for their rejection of the truth. Is is possible when the Church of Christ is raptured away to heaven that the strong delusion may be the people missing were taken away by aligns and the ones left on Earth are good people, when in fact the opposite is true?

Turkey’s Erdogan encourages Islamist rebels to continue advances as Assad regime scrambles to survive
JERUSALEM — After Turkey-backed radical Islamist forces seized the pivotal Syrian city of Hama on Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan cheered the astonishing military advance of his allies.
“I would say we hope for this advance to continue without any issues,” Erdogan said on Friday, according to a Reuters report.
He added that the capital city of Damascus, where Syrian dictator Bashar Assad resides, is the objective. “The target is Damascus.” Sounds like the Isaiah and Jeremiah prophecy to me!

Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi emphasized that developments in Syria are of great interest to Iraq and could cause a spillover of militia violence in the country. An Iraqi government spokesman said Assad had not requested Iraq send military backup, and Iraq does not intend to militarily intervene. Iran has enthusiastically supported Assad, and the government of Turkish President Erdogan has done little to hide its support of the Syrian National army, which hasn’t directly attacked Assad but targeted Kurdish forces. Erdogan did appear to extend support to the rebels however. He said, “Idlib, Hama, Homs, and the target, of course, is Damascus. The opposition’s march continues. Our wish is that this march in Syria continues without accidents.”

Is Damascus going down?
It isn’t looking good for Syria’s detested dictator, Bashar al-Assad. The strongman is surrounded by multiple rebel factions, all of which have blocked his route out of the city off. As Syria’s rebels march toward Damascus, they are using heavy weapons that Assad’s army left behind in Aleppo and Hama. The Assad regime’s diminished forces seem to be preparing for an existential struggle to keep the capital.

Release time religious instruction programs began in the early 20th century to allow students religious instruction for a short period in the middle of the school day. At the Edgewood elementary school in Marysville, Ohio, where the Temple will start a program, the evangelical LifeWise program removes students for 55 minutes each week.
