Prophecy Sign: Jesus gave us signs of what the Antichrist would be like. He told us what to look for
. In 2nd Thessalonians 2:4 it states, "He opposes and exalts himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, and even sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God." We know from Revelation chapter 17 that the false church will sit on the beast (Antichrist) in Rome. This means that the Antichrist will come from Rome, which is in Italy. Daniel saw all the kingdoms from his time all the way to the last kingdom, which he says will be the reborn Roman Empire. The European Union is that reborn Roman Empire and Italy has been a major player in the EU since it started.

One of the major signs of the end times is the rebirth of the Roman Empire, so watching the signs concerning the political climate within the EU should be taken with special interest. There is one man you should pay special attention to, and that is Silvio Berlusconi. Berlusconi is the Prime Minister of Italy. He is one of the most powerful men in all of Europe and he is one of the richest men in the world. Why is this so important? Jesus warned us one of the traits of the Antichrist is he would exalt himself? If you read my April 11, 2008 post you can read a list of reports showing you Berlusconi has been exalting himself and most of Europe know this to be true.

Another reason why we are keeping our eyes on this man is the fact that he is leading the way right now for the peace talks between the PLO and Israel. Why is this important? The prophet Daniel warned us in Daniel 9:27 that the man who confirms the covenant with many will in fact be the Antichrist. Keep in mind Israel has to accounted as the main player in Daniel 9:27 because the covenant here has to do with Israel. Some people have written me and told me that this covenant has nothing to do with Israel. However, everything that God showed Daniel had to do with Israel and the powers of the last days. Fact is, Jesus even talks about the Daniel prophecy in Matthew chapter 24. Anyone who leaves out Israel from Daniel 9:27 is misleading what scripture is saying about the last days.

Getting back to the importance of Berlusconi. Why am I watching him? He is so far fulfilling the part of the prophecy which says the man of sin will exalt himself, have a strong will and will prosper. I quote Daniel 11:36 says, “And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Berlusconi has and is doing all these things and it just so happens he is a Roman which really makes the red flags go up. What am I saying? I am telling you there is a possibility that this man could be the Antichrist. I am not saying he is but there is a way for you to find out if in fact he is.

If you haven’t received Jesus as your Savior yet you should keep your eyes on this man, and I will tell you why. If you see him come up with a new 7 year peace plan, (covenant), and he confirms this new peace agreement or (covenant), then you will know for sure it is he who Jesus warned the world about. At the present time Berlusconi is one of the lead men working for a new peace agreement in the Middle East for the PLO and Israel. Today’s news reported on this topic. I quote, “Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Tuesday in Rome that they appreciate the important mediation role Egyptian President Hossni Mubarak is playing in order to solve the Middle east crisis, they also hailed the diplomatic intervention of the US president Barack Obama.” Notice I said if you haven’t received Jesus yet you should keep your eyes on this man. I said that because if you don’t take Christ as your Savior you will miss the rapture of the Lord’s Church and you will have to deal with the Antichrist, who ever it is. For those who claim to be Christians, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus because He is our blessed Hope and He will be taking His children home.

I am going to keep giving you the signs of the shift in the superpowers of the last days as recorded in the book of Daniel in chapter 2 and chapter 7. Since God informed the prophet Daniel that the Roman Empire would return in the last days to rule as the last world power you need to keep your eyes fixed on the European Union because this Union is the fulfillment of what Daniel was shown for the future. To understand how the EU is the reborn Roman Empire just read chapter 2 from my free book which you can download at my site. Why is America going down? It has to in order to make way for the EU to become that powerful nation we see in prophecy. The current economic crisis in the U.S. is playing a major role in the downfall of America. There is no man in America that can stop what is coming on this nation. If you think Obama will correct this crisis you are greatly mistaken. I only way I could see America being saved is if she as a nation would repent and turn back to Christ. However, I do not see that taking place but I am praying for it. Since Obama took office the U.S. has slipped deeper into the dark hole. I quote, “The election of Barack Obama offered the promise of a new set of fixes for the financial crisis and the economy, a do-over that might help nurse the stock market back to health. Since then, the market hasn't just gotten worse — it's turned in its worst performance ever for a new president. The Dow Jones industrial average has fallen 21 percent during Obama's first seven weeks in office. Count back to Election Day and the results are even bleaker: That afternoon, the Dow closed at 9,625. Now it stands at 6,547, a loss of 32 percent.”

If you want to really help America begin to pray for our President. Ask the Lord to change Obama’s heart on the killing of the unborn, ask the Lord to change Obama’s views on same sex marriage, and ask the Lord to change Obama’s stance on dividing Israel into two states. If you read the Word of God and you knowing oppose God on these issues there is going to be harsh backlashes to it and, we are already beginning to see the backlashes. For example, in the book of Zechariah chapter 12 verse 12 we are told anyone who burdens themselves over Jerusalem will be cut into pieces. This is exactly what Obama is doing in Israel right now. If Obama keeps trying to divide Israel the Lords own Words tells us we will be cut into pieces. It looks like this process has already begun for America because of the U.S. policy on Jerusalem.

Not only is Japan coming down with America the EU is also under water in this economic crisis. One thing that is going to be important for you to keep in mind is that all the nations will suffer from this crisis. However, the nation that will come up with the man with the so called answers to all these problems will not be the U.S. but the EU or European Union which, is the modern day reborn Roman Empire that Daniel warned us about. Soon everything is going to go under and then for many of you who are refusing to believe will come to know Christ. Prophecy Sign: Last year around April I warned you to watch the nations that are mentioned in Ezekiel chapter 38. I said April because it was at this time that Russia went to Libya and wiped out Libya’s entire debt, which was 4.6 billion. In Ezekiel chapter 38 God gives us a detailed list of what nations are going to join up with Russia and invade Israel in the last days. One of the nations on God’s list is the nation of Libya. I want to show you that Libya and Russia are doing exactly what God said they would do, they have formed a new alliance and this alliance has to do with arms. I quote, “MOSCOW, March 10 (RIA Novosti) – Libya has signed with Russia a contract worth up to an estimated $200 million to buy three missile boats, a Russian military journal reported on Tuesday. A contract with Vietnam for the Project 12418 Molniya missile attack boats valued the vessels at $45 million apiece without weapons, so the Libyan contract could be worth a minimum $150 million, and as much as $200 million with arms and spare parts, said Mikhail Barabanov, science editor of the Eksport Vooruzheny (Arms Export) journal” The article goes on to say that, “During Putin's visit, the two countries signed a deal to write off $4.6 billion of Libya's debt in exchange for a host of new deals, including $2 billion in arms agreements.” This is the 4.6 debt that was wiped off the books by Russia last year and now Russia has come back to finish off the deal. Think about this for a minute. Russia wipes out 4.6 billion in debt, now Libya has to take 2 billion and spend it on arms from Russia. Why do you think this has happened? Well, if you know Ezekiel’s prophecy you understand what this is all about. It is about getting ready to attack Israel. Here is something else to consider. Libya has been engaged in any kind of war at all since Ronald Regan was president. They aren’t at war with anyone now so why spend 2 billion on arms? Here is the clue.

In Ezekiel 39:9-10 it says the following: ““Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. 10 They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign LORD.” When all the nations listed in chapter 38 attack Israel they will bring with them so many weapons that Israel won’t even cut any trees down for a period of 7 years. The weapons that Libya will be bring down with them at the time of the Israeli invasion are going to be burned up by the people of Israel after that war is over. I want you to notice that the length of the time they burn these weapons of war is 7 years. It is the same time frame that the tribulation is which leads us to believe this attack will come before the tribulation starts. As soon as this invasion is over the tribulation begins and the 7-year time frame begins for both the burning of the weapons and for the tribulation. I think this is very possible. In any case, Russia has already formed military alliances with all the nations listed in Ezekiel 38.

Prophecy sign: In Matthew 24 9-10 Jesus shows us in the last days Christians would be hated for His name sake. We have been watching Christian persecution rising over the last few years all over the world. At report just came out about one such case in Pakistan. I quote, “On Jan. 26, evangelist Azir was kicked and punched in the face by Muslim extremists after transporting Christians and evangelizing tools on his Scripture-covered rickshaw. The Voice of the Martyrs contacts report Azir was assaulted while returning from a Bible and Christian literature distribution in Punjab, Pakistan. Azir helped transport believers home in his auto rickshaw, given to him by VOM in March 2008. He uses the rickshaw, which has Scripture verses written on it, as an evangelistic tool.”

Here in America we are beginning to see the same things take place. For example, Christians who are standing up for sound doctrine and are pointing out the sin of homosexuality are being called haters. This week I was even called a hater because I pointed out what was taking place in California with the same sex issue. I pointed out what Christ had to say and because of this I was labled a hater. Fact is, the person really doesn’t have a issue with me, their real issue is with Christ. However, because I am not in the world and part of Christ, I am hated just as they hate Christ’s Words. I except this. It is to bad it has to be this way. If the person who wrote that about me and, it is still in the comment section on my post, if they really knew me they would know I do not hate anyone. Jesus calls to people and tells them how to make it into heaven. Some will listen to what he says and some will make excuses why they don’t believe in His Words. It is my ministry to at least give as many people as I can the chance to hear the Word of God.

Prophecy Sign: Read what Paul warned would happen in the last days concerning people falling away from the faith. I quote, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” 2 Thessalonians 2:3. From time to time I show you proof how people are falling away from God. I quote from a new study just released. “A wide-ranging study on American religious life found that the Roman Catholic population has been shifting out o of the Northeast to the Southwest, the percentage of Christians in the nation has declined and more people say they have no religion at all. Fifteen percent of respondents said they had no religion, an increase from 14.2 percent in 2001 and 8.2 percent in 1990, according to the American Religious Identification Survey.” There are more facts to this study and I suggest you view them. The fact is, the importance of God and Christ in people’s hearts is being removed. We know this are the last days because it is at this time when there is a falling away that the Antichrist will rise to power.
