I just watched the video below which suggest Donald Trump may be the Antichrist and, that we may be reading the Daniel 9 prophecy wrong. Watch the video and then read why I believe this new view will fall to the waste side.

There are to many conflicting things given by Mr. Widener. Widener said when Jesus was talking about the Temple being destroyed he was standing on the Temple Mount. That is not what the bible says. According to the New Testament, Jesus spoke about the destruction of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem while he was sitting on the Mount of Olives. This event is described in the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew 24:1-2, Mark 13:1-2, and Luke 21:5-6). After leaving the Temple, Jesus and his disciples went to the Mount of Olives, where they could see the Temple from a distance. It was from there that Jesus prophesied about the Temple’s destruction and the events leading up to it. The Word of God is very clear where Jesus was when he taught the disciples about the Temple being destroyed. The disciples looking at the Temple from the Mount of Olives is not standing on the Mount! It is said that the distance between the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives is about a half mile. This is far beyond what Widener has suggested. Widener also stated the Antichrist could proclaim he is god while standing on that holy place which Widener points to that being where the Dome of Spirits is. That may sound correct but let us now read where Paul said the Antichrist would reveal himself. 11 Thess. 2: 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Notice Paul told us the Antichrist would sit in the Temple. According Widener’s view he said from 1537 + 483 years = the year 2020 is when the 7 year tribulation began. That means we have already passed the half way mark in the seven year tribulation. If you ever read the book of Revelation you have known the first 3 1/2 years would be filled with horrible things of which have not seen yet and we are no where near seeing that yet. Okay we had a covid pandemic but we also saw the Spanish flu in 1918 but that didn’t mean the end was at hand. The nation of Israel wasn’t even born then so it couldn’t show us it was the end. It seems a stretch to call what we have seen since 2020 the likes of what Jesus shows us for those first 3 1/2 years. Also keep in mind, after the first 3 1/2 year is when God’s wrath starts to be poured out. We are already in year 2024 past the first 3 1/2 years so we should be witnessing God’s wrath already. Anyone who knows the bible knows full well God’s wrath has not begun yet. It is a fact, if God’s wrath started already the Church has to be gone as Paul told us the Church is not appointed to God’s wrath! Widener’s time line is way out of line. If any of you believe in what is suggested by Widener’s view I want you to show me where you have seen the following in the news which God showed us is part of his wrath.

Seven trumpets: The blowing of the trumpets by seven angels leads to catastrophic events, including hail and fire, a great mountain burning with fire thrown into the sea, and the poisoning of water (Revelation 8-9). Seven bowls of wrath: The pouring out of the bowls by seven angels results in severe plagues upon the earth, including painful sores, the sea turning to blood, scorching heat, darkness, and great earthquakes (Revelation 16). The great earthquake: A massive earthquake, described as unprecedented in magnitude, occurs during the judgment of the seventh seal (Revelation 6:12) and again during the pouring out of the seventh bowl (Revelation 16:18). The sun turning black, the moon turning blood-red, and the stars falling from the sky: These celestial events are described as occurring before the great and terrible day of the Lord’s wrath (Revelation 6:12-13). The appearance of various beasts and demonic entities: Throughout Revelation, there are descriptions of monstrous creatures and spiritual forces aligned with evil, which are seen as part of the divine judgment upon the wicked. None of these things have begun yet!

I do believe Widener is searching for the truth and he is honest by suggesting he doesn’t know for sure. One thing is clear, come March if the Antichrist doesn’t go up to the Temple Mount and tell the world he is god everything Widener has suggested will fall to the waste side. Don’t be so quick to believe someone’s new idea on what it is the Lord is teaching us. I for one stay on sound doctrine. I for one believe the 7 year tribulation hasn’t even begun yet and the man of sin is still at least 3 1/2 years away from going into that rebuilt Temple as Paul warned he would to proclaim he is god.
