Experimenting With Military Robots In Gaza
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has been experimenting with robotic, unmanned combat systems, including weaponry, to protect soldiers and military dogs in Gaza. The robots are being used to keep buildings and tunnels under surveillance and engage targets in an environment where urban battles in areas with dense civilian populations have made distinguishing between legitimate targets and non-combatants increasingly difficult.
