Norwegian Bay Froze So Quickly It Caused a ‘Fishapocalypse’

With temperatures well in the negatives and a strong east wind over the weekend, the water in a bay around the island of Lovund in Norway froze quickly. So much so, a school of fish became trapped as they swam in the ice.

January 7, 2013 Fort Myers, Florida Shots were fired at Apostolic Revival Center Christian School, leaving 27-year-old Kristopher Smith dead in what was believed to be a retaliation killing, possibly for talking with police about a previous incident.

January 10, 2013 Taft, California A gunman entered a science classroom of Taft Union High School with a 12 gaugeshotgun and opened fire. A 16-year-old male student, identified as Bowe Cleveland, was shot in the chest and critically wounded. Another student was shot at, but was not hit. The classroom teacher, Ryan Heber, convinced him to drop his weapon, and the gunman followed his order and was later arrested. Additionally, Heber suffered a minor wound from being grazed by a shotgun pellet during the ordeal. The gunman is suspected to be a 16-year-old student of the school, Bryan Oliver. Cleveland and the other student that was shot at are both believed to be intended targets of the gunman. On January 14, Oliver was charged with two counts of attempted murder and assault with a firearm.

January 11, 2013 Detroit, Michigan !Detroit, MichiganA 16-year-old boy was shot in a field across the school campus after a basketball game was held at Osborn High School. He was hospitalized in serious condition.^[

January 15, 2013 Hazard, Kentucky !Hazard, Kentucky Two people were shot and killed and a third person was wounded at the parking lot of Hazard Community and Technical College. The third victim, 12-year-old Taylor Cornett, died from her wounds the next day. 21-year-old Dalton Lee Stidham was arrested and charged with three counts of murder.

January 16, 2013 Chicago, Illinois !Chicago, Illinois A 17-year-old boy, Tyrone Lawson, was shot to death in a parking lot of Chicago State University. The shooting happened after high school basketball games were being held on the university campus, and Lawson was a spectator at the event. Police arrested two people after the shooting and recovered a weapon.^[

January 22, 2013 Houston, Texas !Houston, Texas Between the Library and Academic Building outside of Lone Star College–North Harris, two men got into an argument and one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other man, a student, injuring him. A maintenance man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. The gunman accidentally shot himself in the leg. After the shooting, the gunman fled into the woods and was arrested hours later. The charges against the initial suspect were dropped and another man was arrested.

January 29, 2013 Midland City, Alabama 2013 Alabama bunker hostage crisis: A gunman, a man in his 60s, boarded a school bus and shot the bus driver, Charles Albert Poland Jr., 66. Poland was killed. The gunman abducted a 6-year-old child and held him hostage in an underground bunker. The gunman was shot to death by police several days later.^[

January 31, 2013 Atlanta, Georgia A 14-year-old male student was shot and wounded in the back of the neck at Price Middle School. The gunman, a student, was believed to be arguing with the other student before taking out a handgun and firing multiple shots at him. In addition, a teacher was injured during the shooting. Afterward, the gunman was disarmed by a school resource officer and subsequently apprehended. He was charged with aggravated assault.

March 18, 2013 Orlando, Florida At the University of Central Florida, 30-year-old student James Oliver Seevakumaran pulled a fire alarm went off at the Tower 1 dormitory. According to plans he had written, Seevakumaran intended to attract a large amount of people inside the building to gather and shoot them. He then pointed a handgun at his roommate and threatened to shoot him inside their dormitory room. Seevakumaran released his roommate who ran into a bathroom to call 911. Seevakumaran then fatally shot himself in the head. Authorities found an assault weapon, a couple hundred rounds of ammunition and four homemade bombs inside his backpack.

March 21, 2013 Southgate, Michigan A student, 13-year-old Tyler Nichols, shot himself in the bathroom at his school, Davidson Middle School in Southgate, Michigan.

April 18, 2013 Cambridge, Massachusetts At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, near Building 32 (Stata Center) at 10:48 p.m. EDT, a campus police officer was shot multiple times. The officer, 26-year-old Sean Collier, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in nearby downtown Boston, where he was pronounced dead. The shooting was believed to be perpetrated by the suspects of the Boston Marathon bombings that took place in Boston three days prior to this shooting. The two suspects are brothers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. About three hours after the MIT shooting, Tamerlan died in a gunfight with police in Watertown, Massachusetts. In that gunfight, another officer was shot and seriously wounded. Dzhokhar was arrested 18 hours afterward in Watertown, and was hospitalized in critical condition from a gunshot wound to the neck.

April 29, 2013 Cincinnati, Ohio At around 8:00 AM EST, a student shot himself at La Salle High School, a Catholic school. The student, Joe Poynter, was hospitalized in critical condition at a Cincinnati hospital. According to police, no known threats were made to any other students or staff. Police arrived immediately after the incident was reported.

June 7, 2013 Santa Monica, California 2013 Santa Monica shooting: Six people, including the shooter died and four others were wounded at or near the campus of Santa Monica College when a lone gunman opened fire on the school campus library after shooting at several cars and a city bus at separate crime scenes. The gunman, John Zawahri, was fatally wounded by responding police officers. Among the dead were the shooter’s father and brother, both of whom died inside a house that was set on fire a mile or so from the Santa Monica College campus.

June 20, 2013 West Palm Beach, Florida Two custodians at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School were shot and killed. The deceased were Christopher Marshall, 48, and his boss Ted Orama, 56. A third custodian was suspected in the killings and was apparently on the lam.

August 20, 2013 Decatur, Georgia A man with an AK-47 fired six shots inside the front office of Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy, an elementary school. After the gunman fired the shots, he barricaded himself in the office and police at the scene returned fire. Nobody was injured. Children had to leave the building and were being guided to a corner of a field, where they were picked up by their parents. The alleged gunman is a 20-year-old male named Michael Brandon Hill. In the front office of the school, Hill talked with Antoinette Tuff, a woman who worked in the front office, who had called 9-1-1. Tuff talked him down, and helped him surrender to the police before anyone was hurt. Hill was apprehended.

August 23, 2013 Sardis, Mississippi A student, Roderick Bobo, 15, was shot during a football game at North Panola High School in what was termed as a gang-related shooting. Two others were injured in the shooting, and three men were charged as being responsible for the crime.

August 30, 2013 Winston-Salem, North CarolinaA 15-year-old male student was shot in the neck and shoulder at Carver High School, at 2:30 PM. The victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. An 18-year-old male student was apprehended by a school resource officer without incident. The suspected gunman is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, carrying a concealed gun, possessing and discharging a firearm, and carrying a firearm onto educational property. The shooting was believed to be the result of an on-going dispute between the suspect and the victim.

September 28, 2013 Gray, Maine Gaige McGue, 19, of Denmark died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the parking lot of Gray-New Gloucester High School during homecoming weekend. According to the sheriff’s office, McCue had never been a student at the school.

September 28, 2013 Lansing, Michigan Three students and one other teenager were shot outside of J.W. Sexton High School, at about 2:45 PM. Apparently, a group of students went to a location near the school and were attempting to settle some type of disagreement, when shots rang out. The three injured students were hospitalized while an additional teenager later showed up at an area hospital who was injured as well.

October 4, 2013 Pine Hills, Florida A 16-year-old student was shot in the hip at Agape Christian Academy after a fight broke out at 2 pm. An innocent bystander was hit in his ankle by a stray bullet or shrapnel. The two victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspected shooter reportedly fled in a car with several other males. He was not caught.

October 15, 2013 Austin, Texas A 17-year-old student fatally shot himself with a handgun in the courtyard of Lanier High School. The shooting happened in front of other students.

October 21, 2013 Sparks, Nevada 12-year-old seventh-grade student Jose Reyes opened fire with a semi-automatic handgun at the basketball courts of Sparks Middle School, injuring one student in the shoulder. A teacher, Michael Landsberry, who was trying to intervene with the gunman was then shot and killed by Reyes, as he was standing on a playground. Reyes shot and wounded student who tried to come to Landsberry’s assistance after he fell onto the ground. That student suffered an injury to his abdomen. Reyes then committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. The shooting happened before classes, and the school was evacuated and was closed for the week.

November 2, 2013 Greensboro, North Carolina A 21-year-old student was shot and wounded at North Carolina A&T State University. The victim was hospitalized for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The university was temporarily locked down that night, and the lockdown was lifted about half an hour later. No suspects are in custody.

November 3, 2013 Lithonia, Georgia A Stephenson High School student and a janitor were shot in an apparent confrontation between team members and a group of teens who don’t attend the school. Both were innocent bystanders in the ordeal.

November 13, 2013 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania After classes ended, at least one gunman came out of the woods and opened fire on three students as they were walking to their cars at Brashear High School. One student was grazed in the head, another was struck in the neck and shoulder, and a third was hit in the leg and foot. Six people were taken into custody. The shooting is believed to be drug-related.^[

November 26, 2013 Rapid City, South Dakota A physics professor, Alberto Lemut, 37, at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the Electrical Engineering/Physics building.

December 4, 2013 Winter Garden, Florida A 15-year-old student was shot and wounded by a 17-year-old student near a soccer field on the campus of West Orange High School. The shooting occurred after a fight broke out between the two students. The 17-year-old suspected shooter was taken into custody several miles away from the school, and is charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a minor and possession of a firearm on school grounds.^[

December 13, 2013 Centennial, Colorado 18-year-old Karl Pierson shot 17-year-old student Claire Davis in the head, fatally injuring her, in a hallway in Arapahoe High School. Pierson then committed suicide by shooting himself. Pierson was armed with a shotgun, three Molotov cocktails, and a machete. He was looking for a faculty member who had disciplined him, and intended to shoot him. Claire Davis died from her injuries on December 21, 2013.

December 19, 2013 Fresno, California Four teens went into Edison High School in what was believed as a gang-initiation process. After accosting a 62-year-old woman about a mile away from school grounds, they found an athletic trainer who taught at Edison High and shot him several times in the leg and stomach. It took a few days for the youths to get caught, and this was cinched when the 62-year-old woman and some surveillance video gave police the information they needed.

January 9, 2014 Jackson, Tennessee A student was charged with bringing a gun to school at Liberty Technology Magnet High School in Jackson, Tennessee and shooting a fellow classmate in the thigh. The incident occurred outside the front of the school

January 13, 2014 New Haven, Connecticut A 14-year-old boy was shot outside of a basketball game at the Hillhouse High School athletic facility, suffering wounds in his hand and leg.

January 14, 2014 Roswell, New Mexico Two people were shot and wounded inside the gymnasium of Berrendo Middle School, at about 8:10 am. A 11-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl were airlifted to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas in critical condition. The 12-year-old suspected shooter, Mason Campbell, was apprehended at the scene after he was subdued by a staff member. A staff member received minor injuries.

As dignitaries from all over the world paid their respects to one of Israel’s last founding leaders, residents of northern Galilee told Ynetnews.com that they’d experienced a quake around midday. Confirming those accounts, the Israel Geophysical Institute reported the quake measured 3.5 on the Richter scale. In October, five tremors shook the northern region in a span of one week, prompting Israeli officials to issue a general alert to citizens to update their knowledge about emergency measures during quakes. “There were similar cases in the past in which a number of earthquakes clustered around the same time and place, among other cases in Lebanon and the Gilboa,” Uri Friedlander, chief of the Israel Geophysical Institute, told Israel’s daily paper, Haaretz. “The truth is, we don’t know what this recent string means.”

April 18, 2013 Cambridge, Massachusetts At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, near Building 32 (Stata Center) at 10:48 p.m. EDT, a campus police officer was shot multiple times. The officer, 26-year-old Sean Collier, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in nearby downtown Boston, where he was pronounced dead. The shooting was believed to be perpetrated by the suspects of the Boston Marathon bombings that took place in Boston three days prior to this shooting. The two suspects are brothers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. About three hours after the MIT shooting, Tamerlan died in a gunfight with police in Watertown, Massachusetts. In that gunfight, another officer was shot and seriously wounded. Dzhokhar was arrested 18 hours afterward in Watertown, and was hospitalized in critical condition from a gunshot wound to the neck.

April 29, 2013 Cincinnati, Ohio At around 8:00 AM EST, a student shot himself at La Salle High School, a Catholic school. The student, Joe Poynter, was hospitalized in critical condition at a Cincinnati hospital. According to police, no known threats were made to any other students or staff. Police arrived immediately after the incident was reported.

June 7, 2013 Santa Monica, California 2013 Santa Monica shooting: Six people, including the shooter died and four others were wounded at or near the campus of Santa Monica College when a lone gunman opened fire on the school campus library after shooting at several cars and a city bus at separate crime scenes. The gunman, John Zawahri, was fatally wounded by responding police officers. Among the dead were the shooter's father and brother, both of whom died inside a house that was set on fire a mile or so from the Santa Monica College campus.

June 20, 2013 West Palm Beach, Florida Two custodians at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School were shot and killed. The deceased were Christopher Marshall, 48, and his boss Ted Orama, 56. A third custodian was suspected in the killings and was apparently on the lam.

August 20, 2013 Decatur, Georgia A man with an AK-47 fired six shots inside the front office of Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy, an elementary school. After the gunman fired the shots, he barricaded himself in the office and police at the scene returned fire. Nobody was injured. Children had to leave the building and were being guided to a corner of a field, where they were picked up by their parents. The alleged gunman is a 20-year-old male named Michael Brandon Hill. In the front office of the school, Hill talked with Antoinette Tuff, a woman who worked in the front office, who had called 9-1-1. Tuff talked him down, and helped him surrender to the police before anyone was hurt. Hill was apprehended.

August 23, 2013 Sardis, Mississippi A student, Roderick Bobo, 15, was shot during a football game at North Panola High School in what was termed as a gang-related shooting. Two others were injured in the shooting, and three men were charged as being responsible for the crime.

August 30, 2013 Winston-Salem, North CarolinaA 15-year-old male student was shot in the neck and shoulder at Carver High School, at 2:30 PM. The victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. An 18-year-old male student was apprehended by a school resource officer without incident. The suspected gunman is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, carrying a concealed gun, possessing and discharging a firearm, and carrying a firearm onto educational property. The shooting was believed to be the result of an on-going dispute between the suspect and the victim.

September 28, 2013 Gray, Maine Gaige McGue, 19, of Denmark died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the parking lot of Gray-New Gloucester High School during homecoming weekend. According to the sheriff’s office, McCue had never been a student at the school.

September 28, 2013 Lansing, Michigan Three students and one other teenager were shot outside of J.W. Sexton High School, at about 2:45 PM. Apparently, a group of students went to a location near the school and were attempting to settle some type of disagreement, when shots rang out. The three injured students were hospitalized while an additional teenager later showed up at an area hospital who was injured as well.

October 4, 2013 Pine Hills, Florida A 16-year-old student was shot in the hip at Agape Christian Academy after a fight broke out at 2 pm. An innocent bystander was hit in his ankle by a stray bullet or shrapnel. The two victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspected shooter reportedly fled in a car with several other males. He was not caught.

October 15, 2013 Austin, Texas A 17-year-old student fatally shot himself with a handgun in the courtyard of Lanier High School. The shooting happened in front of other students.

October 21, 2013 Sparks, Nevada 12-year-old seventh-grade student Jose Reyes opened fire with a semi-automatic handgun at the basketball courts of Sparks Middle School, injuring one student in the shoulder. A teacher, Michael Landsberry, who was trying to intervene with the gunman was then shot and killed by Reyes, as he was standing on a playground. Reyes shot and wounded student who tried to come to Landsberry's assistance after he fell onto the ground. That student suffered an injury to his abdomen. Reyes then committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. The shooting happened before classes, and the school was evacuated and was closed for the week.

November 2, 2013 Greensboro, North Carolina A 21-year-old student was shot and wounded at North Carolina A&T State University. The victim was hospitalized for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The university was temporarily locked down that night, and the lockdown was lifted about half an hour later. No suspects are in custody.

November 3, 2013 Lithonia, Georgia A Stephenson High School student and a janitor were shot in an apparent confrontation between team members and a group of teens who don't attend the school. Both were innocent bystanders in the ordeal.

November 13, 2013 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania After classes ended, at least one gunman came out of the woods and opened fire on three students as they were walking to their cars at Brashear High School. One student was grazed in the head, another was struck in the neck and shoulder, and a third was hit in the leg and foot. Six people were taken into custody. The shooting is believed to be drug-related.^[

November 26, 2013 Rapid City, South Dakota A physics professor, Alberto Lemut, 37, at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the Electrical Engineering/Physics building.

December 4, 2013 Winter Garden, Florida A 15-year-old student was shot and wounded by a 17-year-old student near a soccer field on the campus of West Orange High School. The shooting occurred after a fight broke out between the two students. The 17-year-old suspected shooter was taken into custody several miles away from the school, and is charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a minor and possession of a firearm on school grounds.^[

December 13, 2013 Centennial, Colorado 18-year-old Karl Pierson shot 17-year-old student Claire Davis in the head, fatally injuring her, in a hallway in Arapahoe High School. Pierson then committed suicide by shooting himself. Pierson was armed with a shotgun, three Molotov cocktails, and a machete. He was looking for a faculty member who had disciplined him, and intended to shoot him. Claire Davis died from her injuries on December 21, 2013.

December 19, 2013 Fresno, California Four teens went into Edison High School in what was believed as a gang-initiation process. After accosting a 62-year-old woman about a mile away from school grounds, they found an athletic trainer who taught at Edison High and shot him several times in the leg and stomach. It took a few days for the youths to get caught, and this was cinched when the 62-year-old woman and some surveillance video gave police the information they needed.

CA Teacher Forces Student to Stop Talking About Bible

On December 19, a school teacher in Temecula, California told her first grade student, Brynn Williams, that she could not present her family's Christmas tradition of a star of Bethlehem at her school, according to local reports.

Brynn's class was assigned to do a 1-minute presentation about an object that best represents their family's Christmas tradition. When Brynn stood up to give her presentation, she began reciting a Bible verse just before the teacher interrupted and told her to ”go take your seat". She was the only student not allowed to finish her presentation.

"When this took place she was hurt," said Brynn's father Shane, "she felt that she had done something wrong and she was going to be punished."

Brynn's family has since sought legal counsel with Advocates for Faith & Freedom.

“The disapproval and hostility that Christian students have come to experience in our nation’s public schools has become epidemic,” said Robert Tyler, General Counsel for Advocates for Faith & Freedom. “I hope that TVUSD will take the lead role in adopting a model policy to prohibit this abuse that has become all too common place for religious-minded students.”

As dignitaries from all over the world paid their respects to one of Israel’s last founding leaders, residents of northern Galilee told Ynetnews.com that they'd experienced a quake around midday. Confirming those accounts, the Israel Geophysical Institute reported the quake measured 3.5 on the Richter scale. In October, five tremors shook the northern region in a span of one week, prompting Israeli officials to issue a general alert to citizens to update their knowledge about emergency measures during quakes. "There were similar cases in the past in which a number of earthquakes clustered around the same time and place, among other cases in Lebanon and the Gilboa,” Uri Friedlander, chief of the Israel Geophysical Institute, told Israel’s daily paper, Haaretz. “The truth is, we don't know what this recent string means."

Headline:  6.4-quake shakes Puerto Rico, causing minor damage

A strong earthquake out to sea that shook Puerto Rico early Monday is one of the largest to hit the U.S. territory in recent years, cracking floors and causing some power outages, but no major damages or injuries, officials said. The 6.4-magnitude quake struck just after midnight about 35 miles (57 kilometers) north of Hatillo, at a depth of 17 miles (28 kilometers), according to the U.S. Geological Survey. At least 70 aftershocks have been reported since then, with at least three of a magnitude 3.5 or greater, said Gisela Baez Sanchez, a geologist with Puerto Rico’s Seismic Network.

“All of Puerto Rico is in a seismic danger zone,” she said in a phone interview. “We have to be prepared.” Broken windows, a busted water line and cracked floors and walls were reported in some areas along the north coast, while authorities said power outages occurred in the north city of Bayamon, close to the island’s capital. Dozens of people said they felt buildings sway in the capital of San Juan, about 61 miles (98 kilometers) from the quake’s epicenter. Hundreds of people called Puerto Rico’s emergency management agency, but no injuries or major damages have been reported, spokesman Carlos Acevedo said in a phone interview.

 Last week I put up a post giving an up-date on what the Chief Rabbi in all of Israel stated about Jesus Chtist.  If you watch the first part of my  video below I made last week you will learn why I gave the up-date about Kaduri.  The picture below is a photo of Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri.  As you will see form the news today Ariel Sharon died today!  What could this mean?  There are two groups of people coming up with their oppinions. The first group will look at what has happened and say it is possible that Kaduri was visited by Christ in a dream and was told by Chirst He was the Messiah. This group will keep in mind that the Bible does say that in the last days old men will dream dreams.  Rabbi Kaduri was 108 years old when he said Jesus came to him in a dream.  Jesus came to Paul to reveal He was the Christ and Paul was a devaut Jew who lead because of his work lead many people to the Messiah Jesus.  So why not the Chief Rabbi in all of Israel. What better person to pick to show the world and other Jews that Jesus is in fact the true Messiah and will be coming back soon. This first group will hold on to the teaching of the Bible and believe old men today do have dreams that the Lord has sent. This group will also watch to see if this is a true prophecy. This group will not be closed minded but on the watch keeping in mind that Christ did say in the last days there would come false prophets.  There is a question I would ask.  Would the Chieft Rabbi in all Israel say Jesus is the Messiah if he didn’t believe the dream really came to him by Jesus?  The Rabbi must have been aware that any Jew who heard what he said about Jesus Christ would think he had lost his mind.   This could be the reason why Kaduri gave orders not to release his message until 1 year after his death. 

The second group of people who will hear this news will dismiss it as just another religious story and move on giving no thought that it just may be that Kaduri’s connection to Ariel Sharon may be the truth from the Lord.  Which ever group you find yourself in that fact is that 7 years after Kaduri gave the prophecy Ariel Sharon passed away.  All I can say is this, we all are going to find out if what Kaduri said was true. Keep in mind, Kaduri said Jesus told him when Ariel Sharon dies that will be the sign He would come back soon.

Israeli planes hit Gaza in two separate sorties Thursday morning, hours after Palestinians shot three mortar rounds at IDF troops patrolling near the border fence. All three shells exploded near the border fence between Israel and the Gaza Strip, in the southern Eshkol region. There were no injuries or damage. The Israel Defense Forces said it hit a terror cell near Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip just before noon. There were no reports of injuries. Earlier in the day planes struck a group of people on a three-wheeled vehicle, injuring three, according to Palestinian sources. The army said it had

“intercepted terrorists during their final preparations to launch rockets toward Israel.” It added that it held the Strip’s Hamas rulers responsible for the attack. “This ongoing conflict that we are facing on a daily basis cannot be endured by Israeli civilians,” IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Peter Lerner said in a statement. ”It is the IDF’s obligation to operate to the best of its abilities to prevent such malicious terroristic intentions from terrorizing Israeli civilians and assaulting IDF soldiers. We will continue in our activities to deter all threats originating from the Gaza Strip.”

"More positive steps will follow." The men were released Wednesday, two days after Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniya said that Fatah members who fled Gaza when Islamists seized the region would be allowed to return. Tensions between the two Palestinian groups began during fighting in 2007 that left the Islamist movement in control of Gaza. The two sides have made many attempts to reconcile, MENA reported.

estinian “framework agreement” that would lay down principles for solving all the core issues of the conflict and provide a basis for continued Israeli-Palestinian talks. One of the key issues he discussed with both men was Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s demand for recognition of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people. Kerry has adopted Netanyahu’s position on this issue and is interested in including such recognition in his

proposed framework agreement, as he has become convinced that without Palestinian recognition of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people, he will find it very hard to get Netanyahu either to agree to conduct negotiations on the basis of the 1967 lines or to demonstrate flexibility on the issue of security arrangements. But Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has told Kerry he

won’t accept such a provision, arguing that it would undermine the rights of Israel’s Arab citizens.

Kerry therefore asked the Jordanian and Saudi monarchs to help him secure Palestinian consent to this provision by promising to back Abbas if he does agree, or at least by promising not to torpedo such a move.

Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Kuwait next week to meet with representatives of the Arab

According to a State Department statement released Wednesday, Kerry will fly to Paris and Kuwait from January 11-15 and update the Arab League “on the ongoing final status negotiations between the Israelis and Palestinians, as part of his continued engagement with our Arab League partners on the issue.” The statement came shortly after a Palestinian news outlet reported that the US is exploring the possibility of altering language in the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative to include recognition of Israel as a Jewish State should the country reach a peace deal with the Palestinians. ISIL on Tuesday urged its fighters to “crush” other rebel groups in Syria, in an audio message from the group’s spokesman. ISIL’s threat came hours after a rival al-Qaeda group said it has joined forces with other rebel groups in fighting ISIL.

Russia has once again blocked an anti-Assad resolution before the U.N. Security Council, Fox News has learned, in the latest setback ahead of Secretary of State John Kerry's mission abroad to pursue a Syria peace plan. United Nations diplomats tell Fox News that Russia blocked the British-drafted measure condemning Syrian government attacks on the city of Aleppo with Scud missiles and explosive-filled barrels. The attacks have killed more than 700 people. The Russian Mission to the U.N. so far has not responded to a request for comment from Fox News. The U.S. supported the British proposal, but it needed a consensus to pass. This is the second time in a month that Russia has brushed off western efforts to condemn forces loyal to President Bashar Assad for using indiscriminate air assaults on Aleppo, killing and wounding scores of civilians. Russia has been a consistent supporter of Assad, using its U.N. Security Council veto power to block three resolutions on Syria.

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) said on Tuesday that "priority chemical materials" were transported to the port of Latakia and onto a Danish vessel which was now sailing towards international waters.

Under a deal proposed by Russia, Syria agreed to abandon its chemical weapons by June after an August 21 Sarin gas attack. The deal was strongly backed by USA. A December 31 deadline for the removal of the most deadly toxins from Syria was missed due to War, bad weather, bureaucracy and technical issues.

There are major differences between the Psalm 83 war and the Ezekiel 38 war which shows us they are not the same war. Here are a few major differences. At the current time Israel is still calling for Peace and safety and they have bars, gates, and walls to protect them from the PLO. The told Ezekiel this war will take place when Israel is living in peace and feeling safe. As long as the enemies of Israel listed in the Psalm 83 war are working to wipe out Israel, Israel will never feel safe enough to remove any of the bars, gates, or walls which shows us the Psalm war has to take place first. Another major difference between the Psalm war and Ezekiel war is the nations who attack Israel are different. In the Psalm 83 war you see the nations that border Israel attacking her. The nations listed to attack Israel in the Ezekiel war do not show any of the nations which are listed in the Psalm war. Why? The answer is simple. Israel will already have destroyed the nations who attacked them in the Psalm 83 war

and they will make no other to attempt to wipe them out. When the nations listed in the Ezekiel war see what Israel did to their Brothers listed in the Psalm war they in turn will pick up the tor

ch and try to do what the Psalm 83 nations couldn’t do, wipe Israel off the map. How will this Ezekiel 38-39 war end. God tells us that 5/6 of the entire army that attacks Israel will be killed. At the end of the day Israel will have won the Psalm 83 war and the Ezekiel war. In the Psalm 83 war the IDF will have defeated their enemies. In the Ezekiel it will be God who steps in to wipe out all the armies who try to wipe out Israel. The current events you are now witnessing in the Middle East is setting up the scene for both the Psalm war and Ezekiel war.

The Iraqi government previously has asked Congress and the White House for permission to buy military aircraft. Iraq signed a contract for 18 F-16 warplanes in 2011 and signed another in 2012 for 18 more. None have been delivered yet.

On Wednesday, a spokesman for the rebels fighting against the government said that there would be no imminent truce unless the government in Juba released 11 detainees accused of planning a coup. Meanwhile, mediators in Juba say the detainees are against deadly clashes for their release and are seeking a political solution to the situation in the country.

The government says the detainees will be released through the procedures of the judicial system.

Greece jobless rate hits record high in October

Official data show Greece’s unemployment rate rose to a new record high in October last year,

highlighting the ravages of a six-year recession. The Greek Statistical Authority, ELSTAT, said on Thursday that the number of jobless grew in October 2013 to a record 27.8 percent from 27.7 percent in the previous month. With more than one in four of the workforce unemployed, a total of 1.038 million people are currently out of work, the agency said. The high unemployment rate is more than double the eurozone’s average of 12.1 percent in the same month. Moreover, people under the age of 25 remain the hardest-hit demographically with their jobless rate at 58 percent, up from 23 percent when the country's recession started six years ago. This is while industrial output fell in November for a fifth consecutive month, dropping by about 30 percent from its peak since 2008.

Poverty level under Obama breaks 50-year record

Fifty years after President Johnson started a $20 trillion taxpayer-funded war on poverty, the overall percentage of impoverished people in the U.S. has declined only slightly and the poor have lost ground under President Obama.

Aides said Mr. Obama doesn’t plan to commemorate the anniversary Wednesday of Johnson’s speech in 1964, which gave rise to Medicaid, Head Start and a broad range of other federal anti-poverty programs. The president’s only public event Tuesday was a plea for Congress to approve extended benefits for the long-term unemployed, another reminder of the persistent economic troubles during Mr. Obama’s five years in office. Although the president often rails against income inequality in America, his policies have had little impact overall on poverty. A record 47 million Americans receive food stamps, about 13 million more than when he took office.

The poverty rate has stood at 15 percent for three consecutive years, the first time that has happened since the mid-1960s. The poverty rate in 1965 was 17.3 percent; it was 12.5 percent in 2007, before the Great Recession. About 50 million Americans live below the poverty line, which the federal government defined in 2012 as an annual income of $23,492 for a family of four.

Amid concern after North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un executed his uncle, Secretary of State John Kerry met in Washington with South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-Se and said there was “not a sliver of daylight” between the two countries. “We will not accept North Korea as a nuclear state,” Kerry said at a joint press appearance with Yun, rejecting a top demand of the communist dynasty. “We remain fully committed to the Defence of the Republic of Korea, including through extended deterrence and putting the full range of US military capabilities in place,” Kerry said, referring to the South by its formal name. “We will continue to modernize our capabilities so that we are prepared to face any threat,” Kerry said. The Pentagon said that the US Army would deploy another 800 soldiers, armored vehicles and tanks starting next month at camps Hovey and Stanley near the demarcation line with the North Korea. The rotational deployment from the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment is part of the US strategic shift toward the Asia-Pacific region “and allows for greater responsiveness to better meet theater operational requirements,” the Pentagon said in a statement. Pentagon spokesman Colonel Steven Warren said that the United States, which already has 28,500 troops in South Korea, would step up its presence through the decision but that the move had “been long planned.”

Two Bay Area women have died so far this year as a result of the H1N1 virus, health departments reported. The Contra Costa County Health Department said on Monday that a 48-year-old woman with underlying conditions has died of the H1N1 virus. The death, which officials said occurred in the past seven days, is the county's first flu-related death this flu season. The woman's city of residence is being withheld by officials at this time. Health officials also report 17 cases of severe flu in Contra

Costa County this season. The Santa Clara County Health Department on Friday also reported its first flu-related death this season — a 41-year-old woman who died of the H1N1 virus on Dec. 23, 2013. Seven other severe flu cases have been reported to date in Santa Clara County.

Marin County says 10 to 20 percent of people who have been tested for flu-like symptoms have tested positive for H1N1. Ten H1N1 cases have been reported there. Seeing an overall spike in flu cases in California and across the country, officials are urging people to get their annual flu shots, the California Department of Public Health recently said. Counties across the state and the nation are reporting an increase in the number of cases, particularly of the H1N1 virus that caused a worldwide pandemic in 2009.

First deadly case of avian flu confirmed in North America

Canadian health officials confirmed the first deadly case of H5N1 avian flu in North America, following the death of a person in western Canada after a trip to China in December. Health Minister Rona Ambrose revealed that the individual was a resident of Alberta who had travelled to Beijing, China. During the press-conference the minister added that the case is

“isolated” and the risk to the general population remains low. “This case is not part of the seasonal flu,” she said. “Avian influenza is not easily transmitted from person to person. It is not the same virus that is currently present in seasonal influenza in Alberta,” said Dr. James Talbot, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health. Officials will be contacting everyone who was aboard the same flights with the now deceased individual, but believe that no one is at risk. Alberta has recorded 10 deaths from the H1N1 influenza during the current flu season.

The largest outbreak to date of one strain of what authorities have called "nightmare bacteria" is adding to concerns about the spread of such drug-resistant bugs. The outbreak, centered on a hospital in a Chicago suburb, has infected 44 people in Illinois over the past year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said. The bug, known as carbapenem-resistant enterobacteriaceae, bears a rare enzyme that breaks down antibiotics. "This is a huge cluster," said Alex Kallen, a medical officer with the CDC and supervisor for the Illinois outbreak investigation, noting that only 97 cases of the infection have been reported to the agency since 2009. The superbug, which typically lives in the intestines and is part of a large family of bacteria, can be spread via fecal matter. It isn't typically transmitted by casual contact outside hospitals.

Giant Sunspot, Larger Than Earth's Diameter, Appears On Sun

An enormous sunspot, labeled AR1944, slipped into view over the sun's left horizon late on Jan. 1, 2014. The sunspot steadily moved toward the right, along with the rotation of the sun, and now sits almost dead center, as seen in the image above from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory. Sunspots are dark areas on the sun's surface that contain complex arrangements of strong magnetic fields that are constantly shifting. The largest dark spot in this configuration is approximately two Earths wide, and the entire sunspot group is some seven Earths across. For comparison, another giant sunspot, five to six Earths across, is shown below from 2005. The image was captured by the European Space Agency and NASA's Solar and Heliospheric Observatory. Sunspots are part of what's known as active regions, which also include regions of the sun's atmosphere, the corona, hovering above the sunspots. Active regions can be the source of some of the sun's great explosions: solar flares that send out giant bursts of light and radiation due to the release of magnetic energy, or coronal mass ejections that send huge clouds of solar material out into space. As the sunspot group continues its journey across the face of the sun, scientists will watch how it changes and evolves to learn more about how these convoluted magnetic fields can cause space weather events that can affect space-borne systems and technological infrastructure on Earth.

The Arab Spring in Prophecy

Luke 21:9 and Matthew 24:7 speak of nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom in the end times. Revelation 6:3-4 speaks of the fiery red horse given power to make men slay one another and Revelation 6:8 speaks again of this red horse in conjunction with the pale horse of Death and Hades, as the one that has the power to kill by sword.

I like to call this “The Arab Spring in Prophecy” because for us it is easy to identify- that’s what the world calls it.

Luke 21:9: wars & commotions; the Greek word here is Akatastasia, meaning instability, a state of disorder, disturbance, confusion (revolutions) Matthew 24:7: the Greek word for nation is Ethnos & refers to various ethnic groups fighting among themselves, where the next sentence in the verse refers to kingdoms (basileiva) fighting one another (not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom) I have tried to separate it into areas that sweep EAST from the point of North America.

Security forces in Bahrain have attacked anti-regime protesters in a village west of the capital, Manama, wounding two people. The Al Khalifa regime has confirmed the incident, which happened in the village of Marakh on Thursday. There has been no word on the condition of the two wounded men. Also on Thursday, Bahraini regime forces arrested Shia cleric Sayyed Mahmud al-Moussawi after storming his house in Bani Jamrah, a village in the northwest of the country. On Wednesday, the Bahraini regime announced that the so-called national dialog with opposition leaders had been suspended. According to the Bahrain News Agency, the talks were halted after the opposition said in September 2013 that it would not participate in the talks.

The opposition’s decision came after the detention of Khalil al-Marzooq, the spokesman for the al-Wefaq National Islamic Society – Bahrain’s main opposition group.

Fresh anti-government protests held in Thailand

Thousands of anti-

government protesters have gathered in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, in a rally aimed at increasing support for the ouster of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. The “practice” rally on Thursday comes days before the opposition plans to bring the capital to a halt for 19 days starting on January 13 in protest against upcoming elections on February 2. The demonstrators plan to prevent the government from functioning by blocking off major roads and intersections in the capital. They also say they will cut off power and water to state buildings. Tens of thousands of anti-election protesters are to set up large stages and makeshift defensive structures at major intersections in order to cripple the capital. In response to the planned “shutdown,” the government said it would deploy some 15,000 soldiers to Bangkok to secure government buildings and prevent possible violence.
