Prophecy Sign: God gave a list of blessings He was going to pour down on Israel when they became a nation again.  Isaiah 43:5-7 and Jeremiah 30:3 speaks to us about God bringing back the Jews from all parts of the world.  God shows us that anyone who came against the Jews would be contending not against the Jews but God. I quote Isaiah 49: 25 “But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.”  If you don’t know the history about Israel, you need to know that since May 14, 1948 Israel has been attacked by their Arab neighbors and has faced armies that out numbered them 5 to 1 in three major wars.  The first war happened the day after Israel was born as a nation again. The second war told place in 1967, and in 1973 they were attacked again.  Since then Israel has faced countless conflicts such as the war of 2006 against Israel’s enemies in Lebanon.  No enemy that has attacked Israel has been able to wipe out Israel, and the reason why is because God has His blessing on them and is contending with anyone who comes against Israel, just as it states in the above scripture.  In the list of blessing we find God promised the Jews who returned to Israel would again speak Hebrew. See Jeremiah 31:23 “Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Once more they shall use these words in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I restore their fortunes: “‘The LORD bless you, O habitation of righteousness, O holy hill!’”.  Most people are aware that the Jews are once again speaking their ancient language.

God promised the Jews would build the cites up again when they return which they have done and are still doing. The Prophets Isaiah and Zechariah told us this in Isaiah 44: 24-26, and Zechariah 14: 10-11. Most of you know this is true because one of the main reasons why the Middle East peace talks aren’t going anywhere currently is because Israel is refusing to stop building up their city in Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 36:30 and Isaiah 27:6 told us God was going to bless the fruit trees in Israel, and He would bless Israel’s fields, (means her crops). Fact is Isaiah told us “Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit”, which by the way they have done!  Isaiah also told us God was going to make the desert blossom like a rose, which they have also done since becoming a nation again.  By the way for complete details concerning all these blessing you can read chapter 8 of my free prophecy book.

All these blessings has had a positive affect on Israel’s economy at a time when the most of the nations in the world are facing massive debts and low GDP’s. 

In a recent new report you can see the hand of God on Israel’s economy. “In the past year, Israel's economy has managed to defy both the global economic crisis and the worsening security situation, posting an annualized 4.4 percent growth in the last quarter of 2009. Yuval Steinitz, Israel's 51-year-old finance minister, a philosopher by profession and a close ally of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claims much of the credit. Steinitz sat down recently with NEWSWEEK's Dan Ephron to explain his approach and the challenges Israel faces. You should take note of the report entitled “Israel’s Booming Economy”. Here is a section of the report that shows how Israel has been able to stand above the economic crisis. “

“Israel is one of the few OECD countries that navigated through the turbulent GFC unscathed (its banks for example, did not receive a single shekel from the government during the crisis). It is a leader in the IT, agriculture, biotechnology and environmental fields. Per capita, Israelis have the most tertiary degrees, and following the U.S., Israel has the most number of companies on the NASDAQ. Israel has also produced more start-ups than Japan, China and India and has the most number of patents approved in the world. Significantly, Israel is also one of the first nations to offer aid in situations of crisis, like in Haiti recently. The OECD’s decision is an acknowledgment that Israel has a successful, developed free market and fiscally responsible economy – much more than can be said of many of her neighbours, even those laden with oil riches.”  Ask yourself this question. How in the world is it possible that a nation the size of New Jersey can just about out perform most major superpower nations?  It is clear proof that all the promises God said would fall on His chosen people have come to pass.

While God is blessing Israel He is also cursing the nations who are contending with Israel. Both the European Union and the United States have been trying to divide up the land of Israel, and this contention against God’s chosen has brought on the curse.  Both the U.S. and EU economies are tanking. For the past 3 years I have been warning you a major economic crisis is coming and this crisis will bring down the United States and cause a global economic crisis like we have never seen.  As each month passes we see signs that this crisis is about to blow up in our faces.  There was another warning issued and I quote from a report entitled, “Volcker Says Time Is Running Out for U.S. to Tackle Fiscal Woes”  “May 19 (Bloomberg) — Former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, a top outside adviser to President Barack Obama, said time is “growing short” for the U.S. to address problems ranging from its budget deficit to Social Security obligations. “We better get started,” the 82-year-old former central banker said in a speech yesterday in Stanford, California. “Today’s concerns may soon become tomorrow’s existential crises.” Volcker, speaking hours after the euro fell to a four-year low against the dollar, said Europe demonstrates for the U.S. the hazards of “uncontrolled borrowing.” The European currency slid below $1.22 for the first time since April 2006 as a ban by German authorities on certain bearish investments fueled concern the region’s sovereign debt woes will worsen.”

    There were more signs today of America's down fall.  As you can see from the current list of banks that have failed in the U.S. America is well on her way to hitting the 200 mark. I quote, “Washington has so thoroughly botched its supervision of the banking industry that 200 banks are likely to fail this year — easily surpassing last year’s 140 bank failures … inevitably involving the greatest bank losses in history … and already costing the FDIC ten times more than the great S&L and banking crisis of the 1980s did.”

In my post dated February 16, 2010 I wrote you the following concerning sanctions against Iran for attempting to get their hands on a weapon of mass destruction via their nuclear program. I quote myself, “I for one am surprised Israel have waited this long in attacking Iran. In the past few years there have already been three rounds of sanctions against Iran over their nuclear weapons program. Now they plan a four round, but this one won’t work either. I may be wrong but this is what I think may happen in the near future. More time will be given Iran to respond to these sanctions and while the world waits to see what will happen between Israel and Iran, Israel will be forced into another war with their neighbors of which Syria will be included. Keep in mind what “Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told his Syrian counterpart Bashar Assad that if Israel goes to war, "we need to put an end to the Zionist regime once and for all.” This is exactly what we read about in the Psalms 83 war.”

Three months have passed and now we see a list of new sanctions that will supposedly be cast on Iran. I won’t list all of them here, you can read the report yourself, but I do want to focus on the last part of this report under the heading  “SANCTIONS ENFORCEMENT” & “ENGAGEMENT”.

“— Requests Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to establish a committee of experts to monitor implementation of all sanctions against Iran and calls for a first report 90 days after its appointment.

ENGAGEMENT:

— Stresses the willingness of China, France, Germany, Russia, Britain and the United States "to further enhance diplomatic efforts to promote dialogue and consultations … without preconditions" with Iran.”

Let me spell it out for you.  What is happening is exactly what I figured was going to happen.  More time has passed giving Iran more time to get the enriched uranium they need to make a bomb. For one thing Russia Iran’s major ally yesterday said they would not put sanctions on Iran. I quote, “Russia earlier Wednesday said it would not support "crippling" sanctions against Iran, including any that may be slapped on the Islamic Republic's banking or energy sectors, a senior Russian diplomat said. "We are not got going to work on sanctions or measures which could lead to the political or economic or financial isolation of this country," Oleg Rozhkov, deputy director of the security affairs and disarmament department at Russia's Foreign Ministry, told reporters.”

The truth is, the UN has been toothless to do anything about any major crisis.  They talk the talk but the record shows very little action is taken by the UN to enforce just about anything and that includes sanctions against Iran.  The mire fact that this is now the fifth round of sanctions is proof alone!  So where does this leave us?  It leads us closer to another Middle East war between Iran and Israel.

The U.S leaders are out to lunch when it comes to Israel’s security.  I quote, “U.S. Vice President tells ABC's 'The View' that 'everyone agrees the next step against Iran should be the sanctions route.' U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said on Thursday he expects new United Nations sanctions on Iran by late April or early May and dismissed the notion that Israel might attack the Islamic Republic before first allowing sanctions to take their course. http://www.haaretz.com/news/biden-israel-won-t-attack-iran-before-sanctions-allowed-to-work-1.284688 

Israel is well aware the sanctions are a joke and they know they will be forced to act alone to ensure Iran’s President never gets a chance to unleash a weapon of mass destruction against Israel. Speaking about the possibility of Israel attacking Iran, I agree with a section from another report on this issue. I quote, “Iran itself, however, refused to rule out the possibility of an Israeli strike, with Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki saying that while Israel was weakened by its recent battles with Islamist militant groups, it could still do "something crazy." "The Zionist regime is not in a position to somehow wage another war in the region," Mottaki told reporters in Geneva. He said the war in Lebanon in 2006 with Hezbollah and the intense fighting in the Gaza Strip in 2008-09, mainly with Hamas, had weakened Israel. However, "it is possible they will do something crazy," Mottaki said, after addressing the United Nations Human Rights Council, which was in session.”

One thing is clear, the PLO wants to paint a picture of Israel losing the recent conflicts.  They needed to do this to pump up their forces in believing they can win a full on war with Israel.  This was tried over and over again since 1948 and the when the PLO and her allies attack Israel the next time, Israel is going to unleash a blow that will shake the world.  The war is just around the bend.  We are about to see just how God is still protecting the nation of Israel.

Since I know what God warns us in Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 I know that the UN sanctions will not solve the problem.  Just take a look at what Russia is doing right now? I quote, “While joining the US in backing a softened UN Security Council sanctions package against Iran, Tuesday, May 18, Moscow is reported by debkafile's military sources as surreptitiously training Iranian Revolutionary Guards crews at Russian bases to operate the advanced S-300 interceptor-missile systems, which are capable of fending off a potential US or Israel attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. UN sources disclose that the new sanctions motion – in its present diluted form – does not expressly forbid the consignment of this weapon to Iran. Moscow is withholding them from Tehran for now, keeping the promise prime minister Vladimir Putin gave President Barack Obama. But if and when the weapons are delivered, Iran will have trained crews ready to operate them. In their push to develop military ties with Iran and its allies, the Russians earlier this month also agreed to sell Syria MiG-29 fighter jets, Pantsyr short-range air defense systems and armored vehicles in a major arms transaction. Washington and Jerusalem have known about the presence of IRGC S-300 missile crews at Russian training bases since early May. But when Israeli president Shimon Peres raised the issue during his talks with President Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow on May 9, he was told sharply that neither Israel nor any other government is entitled to tell Russia to whom it may give military assistance.” http://www.debka.com/article/8792/ 

God tells us Iran and Russia will be allies in the Ezekiel war along with other Muslim nations such as Ethiopia, Libya, and Turkey. It is a fact that Russia is in the process of doing exactly what the prophecies say about her.  She is supporting and arming Syria who will be attack Israel soon in the Psalm 83 war, and Russia is helping Iran get ready for the Ezekiel war and she most likely doesn't even know she will be fulfilling a major prophecy soon.  Stay tuned everyone we are in for a new round of major wars and they will be focused on Israel. http://www.debka.com/article/8792/
