 Prophecy Sign:  II Timothy 3:1-5, "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.  For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." 

There are many reasons why kids have become more violent.  The traits Timothy warned us about are showing up in the kids in this generation.  One of the main reasons I believe kids are beginning to get out of control is the break down of the family.  One doesn’t have to be very smart to see that millions of families are now without Fathers.   The family unite has been breaking down for years and it is still getting worse.  Add to this all the violent video games the kids are playing 3-4 hours a day, and you can see just a glimpse why kids are more prone to get into trouble.  Here is an example of what I am talking about.  “Mayfair Mall closed down early on Sunday afternoon as New Year's weekend shoppers were told to leave after witnesses reported seeing groups of unruly young people shouting and running in the Wauwatosa shopping center.” “ Shafi said a Boston Store clerk told her that the incident occurred after a girl was accused of retail theft and the fracas spilled over into Boston Store. "Her friends followed her and the security guard into the store, screaming, barking, yelling, and knocking over racks and displays. We were invited to stay and continue shopping," Shafi said in an e-mail. "But we decided to leave through the exit where police guards surrounded the building. The salespeople who stuck around were immensely professional and comforting as well." Laura Hughes was in the Barnes & Noble bookshop when she heard screaming and the sound of a large group of people running. She walked out the second floor of the bookseller and "saw large sums of teenagers running towards Boston Store and going down the escalators to the first level. Mall security had been chasing some of the kids, followed by police officers, who were literally herding the kids downstairs."

 Prophecy Sign: Luke 21:11 “There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.”  

One who doesn’t know Jesus Christ as their savior, and hasn’t read the Lord’s warnings will not understand the things that are going on are signs for us.  Like the huge earthquakes in the beginning of 2011, and now over 1,000 birds just falling from the sky for who knows why?  “Bemused U.S. officials are looking into why more than 1,000 blackbirds crashed from the sky in Arkansas on the final day of 2010. In scenes reminiscent of the FlashForward drama series, state wildlife employees were searching the town of Beebe after scores of birds fell to the ground late on New Year's Eve, continuing into the early hours of the morning. High winds and tornadoes swept through Arkansas on New Year's Eve, killing seven people, and state staff believe the bizarre incident could be down to the severe conditions. I checked the news today and they still don’t know why so many birds fall all at the same time.

There are some pretty weird things happening, and here is another example of one of those weird events. “Arkansas Game & Fish is trying to figure out why 100,000 fish in Northwest Arkansas turned up dead. They were found along a 20-mile stretch between the Ozark Dam and Highway 109 Bridge in Franklin County. The 20-mile stretch along the Arkansas River where an estimated 100,000 drum fish were found washed ashore and floating looks much different now. Keith Stephens with Game and Fish explains, "We got a call last week from a tug boat operator that found the fish out on the river along the bank, in the river channel and we immediately dispatched somebody to the area to take a look." Investigators from local and state agencies took samples from the affected area. Stephens says fish kills occur every year, but the magnitude of this one is unusual, and disease could be the cause.

 Only one day later there was yet another report on birds falling from the sky.  As of Jan. 4, 2011 officials don’t have the answer to the question why these birds are suddenly dropping out of the sky.  Will we find out it is some new type of disease downing the birds?  Only time will tell but it is a sign in the sky.   “LABARRE — Hundreds of dead and dying birds littered a quarter-mile stretch of highway in Pointe Coupee Parish on Monday as motorists drove over and around them. State biologists are trying to determine what led to the deaths of the estimated 500 red-winged blackbirds and starlings on La. 1 just down the road from Pointe Coupee Central High School. The discovery of the dead birds — some of which were lying face down, clumped in groups, while others were face up with their wings outstretched and rigid legs pointing upward — comes just three days after more than 3,000 blackbirds rained down from the sky in Beebe, Ark. Necropsies performed Monday on the birds in Arkansas showed the birds suffered internal injuries that formed blood clots leading to their deaths, The Associated Press reported”.

Prophecy Sign:  Luke 21:11 Jesus told us “great earthquakes” would one of the last day signs. Yesterday we saw one of these quakes and again today.  A report entitled “Earthquake shakes central Chile” gives you the facts. 

“A strong earthquake has shaken central Chile, disrupting power and communications but causing no casualties or serious damage. The quake had a magnitude of 7.1 and its epicentre was 70km (45 miles) northwest of Temuco with a depth of 25km, the US Geological Service said. Hundreds of people in coastal areas fled to higher ground for fear of a tsunami, but no alert was issued. An 8.8-magnitude quake in the same area last February caused huge destruction.”

  Prophecy Sign: Psalm 83 war.

Israel's army chief told a US Congress delegation in late 2009 he was preparing for a large war in the Middle East, probably against Hamas or Hezbollah, leaked US diplomatic cables showed on Sunday.

"I am preparing the Israeli army for a large scale war, since it is easier to scale down to a smaller operation than to do the opposite," Lieutenant General Gabi Ashkenazi was quoted as saying in a cable from the US embassy in Tel Aviv.

The document, dated November 15, 2009, was quoted Sunday in Norwegian by Oslo-based daily Aftenposten, which said it had obtained WikiLeaks' entire cache of 251,187 leaked US embassy cables.”  “And in his comments made nearly a year after Israel on December 27, 2008 launched the deadly Gaza war, Ashkenazi said "Israel is on a collision course also with Hamas, which rules Gaza."

“However, in the cable leaked Sunday Ashkenazi is quoted saying Israel next time will not accept "any restrictions on warfare in populated areas," and insisted the army had never intentionally attacked civilian targets.”

Prophecy Sign: 1 Thessalonians 5:3 for the Apostle Paul told us sudden destruction is going to come at the time they are calling for Peace and Safety. Here is the actual quote. “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”  In Mark 13:8 Jesus told us the last day signs would be like pain pains.  When a woman is in labor she goes through birth pains until the child is delivered.  There are some who think these last days birth pains haven’t started yet and they are subject only to the seven year tribulation period. Yet we know this is not correct as the Lord showed us when Israel was calling for peace and safety these were the signs of these birth pain as you can see from verse three “as travail upon a woman with child”. Israel has been calling for Peace and safety ever since Jimmy Carter got Egypt and Israel to sign a peace deal in 1977.  Since that time the birth pains of the call for peace and safety have intensified and are still getting stronger.  What is the sudden destruction Paul warns us about that they will not be able to escape?  I believe it will result first of all in the Psalm 83 war, which will be those nations that border Israel against Israel.  These people include the Palestinians, Hamas, and the Hezbollah which some of the people listed to attack in the Psalm 83 war.  You already saw that Israel is getting ready for a major war from the first report, now let me turn to the news concerning the stalled peace talks. 

“JERUSALEM (AP) – Israel's prime minister said Sunday that he's ready to sit down with the Palestinian president for continuous one-on-one talks until they reach a peace deal. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued his statement on Sunday in an apparent bid to breathe life into stalled Mideast peace making. Talks broke down in late September, just three weeks after they were launched at the White House, following the expiration of a limited Israeli freeze on settlement construction. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas says Israel must halt all settlement construction on occupied lands claimed by the Palestinians before talks can resume. Netanyahu has refused, but says he is ready to discuss all "core" issues with Abbas. Those include setting the final borders between Israel and a future Palestine, determining the fate of millions of Palestinian refugees and resolving the competing claims to the holy city of Jerusalem. Over the weekend Abbas said he believed a peace deal could be reached within two months if Netanyahu showed "good will." He suggested that Netanyahu adopt the positions of his more dovish predecessor, Ehud Olmert. "We were close to an agreement," Abbas said. "The Palestinian position is clear to the Israelis and the Israeli position presented by Olmert is clear to us." Olmert has said he offered the Palestinians virtually all of the West Bank and parts of east Jerusalem – captured areas claimed by the Palestinians for their state – before negotiations broke down in late 2008.”

Why is Israel even talking about sitting down with the PLO while the PLO charter is still in affect. Many of you may not know this, but the PLO is working to fulfill that charter.  I want you to take a look at article 15 of this charter which appears in the Palestinian National Covenant.

Below is the Palestinian National Covenant, the official charter of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The text is the English version published officially by the PLO, unabridged and unedited. Note, however, that the PLO's translation sometimes deviates from the original Arabic so as to be more palatable to Western readers. For example, in Article 15, the Arabic is translated as "the elimination of Zionism," whereas the correct translation is "the liquidation of the Zionist presence." "The Zionist presence" is a common Arabic euphemism for the State of Israel, so this clause in fact calls for the destruction of Israel, not just the end of Zionism.

“Article 15: The liberation of Palestine, from an Arab viewpoint, is a national (qawmi) duty and it attempts to repel the Zionist and imperialist aggression against the Arab homeland, and aims at the elimination of Zionism in Palestine. Absolute responsibility for this falls upon the Arab nation – peoples and governments – with the Arab people of Palestine in the vanguard. Accordingly, the Arab nation must mobilize all its military, human, moral, and spiritual capabilities to participate actively with the Palestinian people in the liberation of Palestine. It must, particularly in the phase of the armed Palestinian revolution, offer and furnish the Palestinian people with all possible help, and material and human support, and make available to them the means and opportunities that will enable them to continue to carry out their leading role in the armed revolution, until they liberate their homeland.” 

The Bible has shown us the true intensions of the the PLO and we see, I believe the results being played out in the Psalm 83 war where the PLO (Palestinians) join in on the attack against Israel to try and wipe her off the map. Look again at the news report above and you will see nothing has changed.   Abbas has once again made it clear to Israel’s Prime Minister that he wants    virtually all of the West Bank and parts of east Jerusalem and if you notice it says “captured areas”.  What  are the captured areas?  The most important is the Temple Mount area in East Jerusalem!  This is where the first and second Jewish Temples once stood, and it is the holiest site to the Jews.  As you can see this city has caused major problems for the world and it comes as no surprise to us because Zechariah 12:3 warned us that this was going to happen in the last days.  So, the birth pains for the call of Peace and safety continue in 2011, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Psalm 83 war taking place this year, but only God knows that date for sure.
