Prophecy Sign:  Psalms 83 is a prophecy that has not been fulfilled as yet, but it will be fulfilled very shortly.  We are witnessing events right now that are leading up to this war.  Starting in verse 6 we are given the names of the nations who will come against Israel.  The names of these nations are important to current events, as you will see. 1Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.  2For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.  3They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.  4They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.  5For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:  6The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;  7Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;  8Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.   9Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:  10Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.  11Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:  12Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.  13O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.  14As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;  15So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.  16Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.  17Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:  18That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.”

Many of you who are new to my site are asking who are these nations in red?  They are modern day Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Egypt. The Philistines represent the Palestinians.  You may not know this, but all of the  nations in red above are nations that have been involved in the Middle East peace talks, or at least talks that are trying to get the talks started again.  The Apostle Paul in I Thessalonians 5:3 warned us that sudden destruction would come at a time when they were calling for Peace and safety”  When you read Psalms 83 you where what nations this destruction was coming from.  If God tells us in verse 3 & 4 that Israel’s enemies “have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.  4They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance”, we should focus on these specific nations to see if they are in fact the same nations involved in the call for Peace and safety, which they are! In my report to you yesterday I showed you that both Syria and Lebanon were getting up set with Israel over the stalled peace process and Israel’s refusal to give up East Jerusalem.  Today’s news gives us information on three of the nations listed in the Psalms 83 prophecy.

I quote, “JERUSALEM – Israel and the Palestinian Authority are negotiating indirectly via the U.S., Jordan and Egypt to outline a future Palestinian state that would encompass Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, Middle East security and diplomatic officials told WND. Popular perception has it that talks between Israel and the PA are stalled over a Palestinian demand that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu extend a 10-month West Bank settlement freeze to include Jewish communities in eastern Jerusalem. Just yesterday, Netanyahu's office released a statement declaring the prime minister would "never" cede control of united Jerusalem nor retreat to the 1967 borders, referring to an evacuation of the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem. The statement came after Egypt's foreign minister said in Cairo last week Netanyahu was ready to discuss making "Arab Jerusalem" the capital of a Palestinian state. According to Middle East security and diplomatic officials, however, Netanyahu's statement may be misleading unless he meant he would not retreat to the exact 1967 lines. Those officials, from Egypt, Jordan, the PA and Israel, told WND in separate interviews over the course of the last few weeks that Israel is in advanced stages of outlining a future Palestinian state that would encompass most of the West Bank. Also Jerusalem is being discussed between Israel and members of the Obama administration, the officials said.”  So what do we have?  We have the exact same nations mentioned in Psalms 83 that are knee deep in the peace talks, and the main issue is dividing up Israel and Jerusalem.  Do you know why the Arab nations are going to attack Israel?  More than likely it will because Israel won’t budge on Jerusalem.  Of course God also warns us about Jerusalem in the last days.  Zech. 12:3 informs us that everyone will come against Jerusalem in the last days.  This is why Jerusalem is the main focus of the peace talks today, and I believe this is why the Arabs are going to attack Israel soon.

Matthew 24 7 and Luke 21:11 warn us to watch for many earthquakes and “great earthquakes in the last days.  Here is an up-date on the 7.0 quake that hit Haiti yesterday.  “PARIS, Jan 13 (Reuters) – French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said on Wednesday he feared everyone inside the United Nations headquarters in Haiti were killed when the building was destroyed by a powerful earthquake.”  “The earthquake killed possibly thousands of people, as aftershocks rattled through the night and into Wednesday. (Reporting by Sophie Hardach; Editing by Louise Ireland)”  As you can see below we have had more quakes today."  If Christ warned us the last days signs would take place as a woman with birth pains, we should expect that quakes of this size and bigger are on the way.  My heart goes out to all the famalies in this crisis.

When you listen to the news you will learn that Haiti was blasted by four major hurricanes one after the other recently and they still haven’t recovered from the destruction.  Could there be a reason why Haiti has been going through so many of these crisis?  Pat Robertson gives information that may point to why Haiti is in so much trouble.

To be fair I want to now give you the opposing views on what Pat Robertson stated about Haiti. You will find this information in a report entitled, “God, Satan, and the Birth of Haiti” by Jean R. Gelin, Ph.D. There are 3 links below for you to click to.

But first let me give you facts not brought out by the Robertson. Haiti is a largely Christian country, with Roman Catholicism professed by 80% of Haitians. Protestants make up about 16% of the population.

Vodou according to information taken from “Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia” Haitian Vodou, a New World Afro-diasporic faith unique to the country, is practiced by roughly half the population.[65] Religious practice often spans Haiti and its diaspora as those who have migrated interact through religion with family in Haiti.[66]

About 95% of the population claim Christian beliefs, and the most professed denomination by far is Roman Catholicism. Similar to the rest of Latin America, Haiti was colonized by Roman Catholic European powers. Following in this legacy, Catholicism is enshrined in the Haitian constitution as the official state religion, and between 80 and 85% of Haitians are Catholics. Pope John Paul II visited Haiti in 1983. In a speech in the capital of Port-au-Prince, he criticized the government of Jean-Claude Duvalier; it is believed that the impact of this speech on the Catholic bureaucracy in Haiti contributed to his removal in 1986.

According to the Catholic Church in Haiti, the ten dioceses of the two ecclesiastical provinces of Haiti count up to 251 parishes and about 1500 Christian rural communities. The local clergy has 400 diocesan priests and 300 seminarians. There are also 1300 religious missionary priests belonging to more than 70 religious families. Vocations to the priesthood are plenty[1].  Other Christian denominations.  The Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pentecostalism, and the Jehovah's Witnesses movement also have significant followings. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints claims more than 14,000 members in Haiti.[2] 10-15% of Haiti's professed Christians are evangelical protestants.

The New World Afro-diasporic religion of Vodou is also practiced. Vodou encompasses several different traditions, and consists of a mix encompassing African, European and indigenous Taìno religious elements. In this way, it is very similar to other Latin American syncretist movements, such as the Cuban Santería. It is more widespread in rural parts of the country, partly due to negative stigmas attached to its practice.  The exact number of Vodou practitioners is unknown. However, a significant amount of the population practice it, often alongside their Christian faith. This mix of religious practices is controversial; some Christians, as well as the Catholic Church, shun Vodou as idolatry and forbid its practice. Facts on Haitian Vodou:

Haiti has on more than one occasion been dedicated to satan. The land, crops, people, everything dedicated to satan and they wonder why disaster keeps happening there. The only reason they are still here and not completely gone is due to the missionaries and the christians in the country. These people are the only small bit of God’s light coming from that place. If Haiti does not get a christian based government and turn the people and land back to the Lord they will stand no chance of peace and prosperity in that area.
