I want to present my report arguing why silver could theoretically reach $500 per ounce — not a forecast or financial advice, but a case built on current supply-demand fundamentals, industrial and critical uses, how strategic importance could escalate into a national security concern and based on the warnings about both Gold and Silver in the last days.
1. Current Supply–Demand Imbalance
Persistent Structural Deficits
Silver has been in a multi-year structural supply deficit, where demand outpaces available supply from mining and recycling. Independent industry data shows the global market has experienced five consecutive years of deficits, with projected shortfalls in 2025 estimated at over 100–140 million ounces. SilverSeek+1
Most silver is not mined on its own — around 70–80% is a by-product of mining other metals like lead, zinc, and copper. This means that even if silver prices rise, supply responsiveness remains low, because mining output is constrained by decisions in other metal sectors. Wedbush Investor
Recycling contributes only modestly — typically 15–20% of annual supply — and much of modern industrial silver is dissipative (spread in tiny components), making it uneconomic to recover. Physical Gold

Silver is no longer just a precious metal — it is a critical industrial metal:

Long-Term Structural Demand Growth
Even where “thrifting” (reducing silver in products) occurs, global installation growth (e.g., solar capacity up sharply) keeps absolute demand high. Bullion Exchanges. Collectively, these forces suggest demand growth is more durable and structural than fluctuating investment demand.
3. Strategic and National Security Importance
Look at the importance of Silver concerning the current Global Supply vs. Demand. At the present time we are seeing a persistent Structural Deficit. Global silver production (mined plus recycled) has consistently lagged behind demand for several years. Annual deficits have ranged roughly 100–250 million ounces per year, and the cumulative shortfall over the last several years is approaching 800 million ounces — roughly equivalent to one year of total global mine output. World mine production in 2024 was around 819–820 million ounces, up only slightly from recent years, while annual demand is generally higher, driven by industrial growth (e.g., solar, electronics, EVs). As geopolitical tensions rise, nations would no doubt shift toward strategic stockpiling of critical metals. Past precedence with uranium and rare earths shows that critical status often leads to strategic procurement and supply chain protection policies. International Precious Metals Institute
Knowing nations like the U.S. and China for example leads would lead to export controls and strategic stockpiles. If major producing countries restrict exports to protect domestic industrial and defense needs, global availability would tighten even further, driving silver price premiums to levels we have never seen.
4. Market Dynamics That Could Amplify Price MovesInventory Depletion and Physical Shortages
Visible inventories (exchange and warehouse stocks) have declined as metal is consumed industrially or held by long-term holders. Lower available inventory amplifies price moves when demand spikes.
Weak Supply Elasticity
Because most silver production is tied to by-product mining, higher prices do not quickly generate new mine supply. This inelastic supply curve could amplify price pressure in an environment of rising demand.
Macro & Safe-Haven Drivers
In times of economic uncertainty, precious metals often benefit from safe-haven flows. What does this mean? It means that when people are worried about the economy, they tend to move money into precious metals because they’re seen as safer places to store value. 5. So as I said at the top of my report, Why $500/oz?
Reaching $500 per ounce — roughly an order of magnitude above current trading ranges — would require an extraordinary alignment of structural, strategic, and macro drivers. For example.
a. Severe Physical Shortages
If silver deficits continue and there is no indication that they will, inventories will fall to critically low levels, and physical demand outpaces supply by a substantial margin.
b. Strategic National Stockpiling
Critical mineral policies and defense procurement shift significant silver from the open market into government reserves. In plain English this is what it means. It means: Governments no doubt classify silver as strategically important. They may buy silver directly for military systems, energy infrastructure and, secure communications. Of course when that happens that silver is removed from normal commercial circulation, It is stored, contracted, or reserved for government use, not resale. So instead of silver being freely traded on the open market, some of it gets locked away. As you know, when there is a lack of a product the price of that product rises.
c. Supply Constraints Exacerbated
Mining and recycling fail to scale — due to technical, environmental, or capital allocation priorities (toward other metals like lithium, copper, and nickel).
d. Technology Demand Explodes
High-growth sectors such as what our generation is now experiencing with AI data centers has pushed the demand for silver, renewable energy, electrified transport — scale faster than anticipated and require larger amounts of silver even if designers try to reduce usage. Here’s the problem and here is the fact. It usually takes from discovery to meaningful production, new silver typically takes 10–20 years to bring online.
e. Macro Shock
Remember Jesus warned in the last days nation would come against nation ie war. A broader financial or geopolitical crisis ie war could simultaneously depress mining investment, elevate safe-haven demand, and reduce effective supply which again would cause a rise in its price.
Under these exceptional conditions — especially where strategic and defense allocation enters the picture — the silver market could experience pricing that reflects scarcity and strategic value rather than traditional commodity pricing.
Based on what we are currently witnessing with the lack of silver and, the warning from the Ezekiel and Revelation prophecy, I for one believe the price of silver is going to rise to levels unheard of. It is to bad in these last days people will put their trust in silver and gold rather than walk with Jesus Christ and trust him. I promise you this, in the future people will be wiping over the lose of both silver and gold just as the prophecies stated. Washingtons atmospheric is now turning to California. California is under an “onslaught” of atmospheric rivers, with multiple systems bringing heavy rain, strong winds, flooding, landslide risks (especially in burn scars), and significant mountain snow/rain through late December and the Christmas holiday, impacting travel and requiring vigilance from residents. A particularly potent system is expected around December 23-26, potentially reaching Category 4/5 levels, bringing substantial moisture and impacting Northern California and the Sierra first, followed by Southern California.
Over 700 landslides and avalanches mapped after 7.0 2025 Hubbard Glacier Earthquake A strong 7.0 oblique-slip earthquake struck beneath the Hubbard Glacier in the St. Elias Mountains, about 89 km (55 miles) north of Yakutat, Alaska, on December 6, 2025.
