“Al-Shabaab Islamists suspected in deadly Ugandan World Cup bombings” Somali Islamists carried out two bomb attacks in Kampala, killing at least 64 people as they watched the World Cup final, Ugandan authorities said on Monday. Suspicion fell on the al-Shabaab rebel group, which claims links with al-Qaeda, after the severed head of a suspected Somali suicide bomber was found at one of the blast sites. If those suspicions prove true, it would be the first time that al-Shabab has carried out an attack outside of Somalia. The explosions ripped through two bars packed with football fans watching the final moments of World Cup in an Ethiopian-themed restaurant and at a gathering in a Kampala rugby club on Sunday.

Looming ominously like a space ship from Star Wars, this is the future of unmanned flight. Defence firm BAE Systems today officially unveiled its first ever high-tech unmanned stealth jet. The Taranis, named after the Celtic god of thunder, is about the same size as a Hawk jet and is equipped with stealth equipment and an 'autonomous' artificial intelligence system. The plane will test the possibility of developing the first ever autonomous stealthy Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) that would ultimately be capable of precisely striking targets at long range, even in another continent.

BERLIN – A grueling heat wave shut down the air conditioning in three high-tech trains in Germany, leaving dozens of passengers near collapse trapped in temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit), authorities said Sunday. At least 52 people needed medical treatment and about 1,000 people had to switch trains, the national railway system, Deutsche Bahn, said.” “Deutsche Bahn said, the trains' problems were caused by the heat outside. Germany has gone through a severe heat wave with temperatures approaching 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit).”

What is going to happen when the Libyan ship comes in contact with the Israeli Navy? Today we see more rumors of war, but one of these encounters turn out to ignite the power that will develop into a full blown war. It is possible that we are seeing the events leading to the Psalm 83 war. “The aim of the Libyan backed aid ship the Amalthea is to sail directly to Gaza, Youssef Sawani, executive director of Gaddafi International Charity and Development Foundation, which has mounted the operation, said last Sunday in an interview with Army Radio. In response to these comments Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman told Army Radio on Sunday that "no ship of any kind will be allowed to arrive at Gaza." "I hope that common sense will prevail," said Lieberman. "They can deliver aid for Gaza to [Egyptian port] El-Arish or Ashdod." The foreign minister added that Israel was not looking for a confrontation but that no one would be allowed to undermine the country's sovereignty.” Keep in mind Libya is one of the nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38. These encounters on the seas between Libya and Israel could also be a prelude to the coming latter day war God showed the Prophet Ezekiel.

The navy is tracking the ship and has put forces on standby in case it needs to board the vessel, The Jerusalem Post cited Israeli defense ministry sources as saying. The navy will make contact with the ship while it is still far from Gaza, likely in international waters, and ask it to follow naval vessels into Israeli port of Ashdod, the sources said.
