Prophecy Sign: Many of you who have been coming to my site would know that there are only a few unfilled prophecies left to be fulfilled before the 7 year tribulation begins. I have explained both of those prophecies for you.  If you are new to my site you should know that Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah chapter 49 speak to us about the destruction of Syria and their Capital Damascus.  This will happen as a result of the war which we find in Psalm 83 of which Syria is mentioned.  Take a look and you will see that all the nations that come against Israel are Muslim nations.  When is this war going to happen?  What we are to be looking for is given to us in  1 Thessalonians 5:3 “While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” If you read from Friday April 8, 2009 you would see how I tied the call of peace and safety to this war.  However, if you are new you need to know that while Israel is calling for peace and safety war will come upon them. Most of the world will think Israel will be defeated but they are going to be surprised when Israel ends up winning the war.  This war will lead to the Ezekiel war given to us in Ezekiel chapter 38-39.  Once again it will be the Muslim nations who come against Israel.  When the world watches this war unfold they will believe as they did with the first war that Israel won’t have a chance to win.

The Ezekiel war will have twice as many Muslim nations attacking Israel as the Psalms 83 war, plus they will have Russia leading the attack.  What we see developing in the Middle East today is leading up to the fulfillment of both these prophecies.  Many have asked why is Germany listed in the Ezekiel war?  Most of you don’t realize how the world is changing. The Muslim population is growing so fast that soon they will over run just about every nation on this planet.  When you read chapter 10 of my book you will see Germany has already started to be over run with Muslims.  What everyone who is not a Christian should understand is this, when Jesus raptures His Church out of the Earth Satan will be able to step right in and form the last days false Church. By the time the end of the tribulation comes almost every nation on this planet will have been over run by the Muslims. At the end of the 7 years the Antichrist will move against the Jews again in one more attempt to finish off God’s chosen people.  Anyone who has read the book of Revelation knows how it all ends.  Jesus comes back to Earth and wipes out all the people who have invaded Jerusalem.

The process for all these events is already underway.  The calls for the peace and safety are heard everyday in the news.  We are even seeing many reports where some of the nations listed in Psalms 83 are talking about invading Israel if the peace talks fail.  These are all signs we aren’t far away from fulfilling the last few unfulfilled prophecies.  Over the course of the next few years you will see how fast the Muslims are going to influence the entire world.

Here is some proof that Paul warning about the call for peace and safety is taking place in this generation.  As I mentioned in my Friday’s post the Pope is in Israel pushing for a two state Israel.  “TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) – Pope Benedict XVI called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian homeland immediately after he arrived in Israel Monday, a stance that could put him at odds with his hosts on a trip aimed at easing strains between the Vatican and Jews.” “While Benedict's support for a Palestinian homeland alongside Israel is widely shared by the international community, including the United States, it was noteworthy that he made the call in his first public appearance. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, leader of the hard-line Likud Party, has pointedly refused to endorse the two-state solution since his election. But he is expected to come under pressure to do so when he travels to Washington next week.”  Let me ask you a question.  The Pope is supposed to be a man of God. He is supposed to know what the Word of God states.  Why in the World would the Pope try and divide God’s chosen land?  What he is working for is against everything the Lord teaches us.  If he has chosen to go against God and His Word, it should tell you something.  If he is not working for God and spreading what the Word really teaches, who is he following?  The Bible makes it clear. Ready what Jesus said in  Matt. 12:30. “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” This brings me to a very important question I have to ask you. If you are one of the Popes followers and you now know what he is doing opposes God will you turn away from the Pope and turn to Christ and follow what He says?  One of the warnings Jesus told us to look out for is men who are false teachers. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world” 1 John 4:1. The only way we can tell who is a true or false prophet is by what they are teaching. If they are teaching doctrine that says the opposite of what the Bible says, you will know they are false prophets.  Since Jesus told us the false church will be based in Rome, this news should send the red flags waving for all to see.

We can see from the current news that the peace talks are headed for trouble. “Israeli president Shimon Peres' task in Washington on May 4-5 is to blunt the sharp edge the White House is honing to force Israel to toe the new Washington line on the Palestinians, Syria and Iran. Prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu can expect the full force of a bludgeon to be wielded in his White House talks on May 18. DEBKAfile's Washington sources report that their host is fired up to be the first US president in decades of close friendship and cooperation to clash openly with Israel and the bulk of US Jewry. Oblivious to Israel's claim of US support for its security in a hostile regional environment, Barack Obama is expected to squeeze the Netanyahu government hard for immediate engagement on the Middle East conflict without further delay.”  As I said, trouble is brewing for Israel when it comes to the peace talks. Watcht the news and you will see how every nation is going to demand Israel divide up Israel into two parts.

Ezekiel 33:1-9 is current day prophecy sing: "And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, 'If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people, then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.   He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life.  But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.  Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them warning from Me.  When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand.  But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his way and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your life."

The purpose of the signs that Jesus told us to watch for are for the benefit of both the lost and the saved alike.  For those of us who are saved, signs offer us hope and encouragement that Jesus is coming soon to take us away from this world.  For the lost; the signs are God's "wake-up call" to communicate to those of you who don't know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior yet that NOW is the time of salvation.  Not tomorrow – today!  This is what this site is all about.  You can read how current events are lining up and taking place exactly as it was written in God's Word thousands of years ago and how they are now being fulfilled; but it's each of our responsibilities to respond accordingly to the signs and warnings given depending on our current standing with God.  If we have been truly saved by our confession that Jesus is who He said He is and have repented of our sins and asked Him to enter our lives and hearts then these signs offer us encouragement to keep on doing His work with renewed energy and urgency.  We are to spread the Gospel to those around us and give those around us the opportunity to hear the Good News of salvation.  But for those of you who don't know Jesus in this way yet then it is now time to act and get your lives right with God.  This is what the above scriptures are saying to us.  We believers are the watchmen.  And according to the above scripture, we watchmen will see the sword coming and it's our responsibility to sound the trumpet and give warning that judgement is coming.  And just how will we see the sword coming?  We will see the sword coming through the fulfillment of the signs that Jesus gave us to watch for as they relate to child birth.

"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.  But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs." – Matthew 24:7,8.  There are those who say that we have always had wars and famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world and this is very true.  And according to the Word of God, these are the beginning of birth pangs.  So why are things any different now than what they have been for the last few decades.  What makes these signs different now than what they have been is the fact that for the first time in our history are they all been present at the same time and on a global scale.  And the one event that has led to the growing worldwide famine is the financial collapse of the world economies.  Through all of the world tragedies taking place now, we are seeing the emergence of a New World Order (NWO).  Never before have we heard of a New World Order before.  Through the swine flu disease that has now spread throughout the world, we are witnessing the emergence of the World Health Organization (WHO) as the agency in charge of controlling the world response to this disease.  So the evidence is showing us quite clearly that these signs – or birth pangs – have progressed from where they have always been previously.

And finally, I would like to quote some verses out of the book of Revelation, which have to deal with the unsealing of the first four judgements of the approaching tribulation period.  "1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.  2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.  3And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.  4And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.  5And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.  6And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. 7And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.  8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."

The first seal will be the appearance of the Antichrist.  He will appear on the world scene to bring peace to the Middle East and also solve all the other world problems.  He will fix the world economic trouble that the world now finds itself entangled with.  The stage is now set for his appearance.  The next three seals have to do with war, famine and death/disease.  It is urgent that you understand the significance of the seal judgements.  They will be much more intense and much more terrible than what we are seeing now.  The tribulation is the last seven years of life as we know it on earth and these seal judgements that will be taking place during that time will be God's wrath being poured out on an unbelieving world.  We are now witnessing the foreshadowing of the opening of the seals.  And what we are seeing now is evidence that the birth of the tribulation is just moments away.  I believe that wartime during this period will include nuclear warheads; that famine will affect everybody in the world except for the wealthy elite regardless of previous or social standing; and I also believe that disease will spread like wildfire around the world.  Death in the fourth seal refers to disease, which is why the color of the horse is pale.  I believe these statements to be true because the tribulation will magnify many times over what we have ever seen before.  The sword of God's judgement is coming so consider this a trumpet blast.

Prophesy Sign:  Israel is God's timepiece for end-time events.  What this means is that the closer we see the end-game approaching to the Middle East conflict with Israel and the Palestinians, the closer we know we are getting to the appearance of the Antichrist.  We read in Daniel 9:27 that the Antichrist will confirm a peace covenant for 7 years between Israel and the Palestinians.  "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."   The Israeli and Palestinian conflict dates all the way back to biblical times.  Throughout the centuries there have been many attempts to bring peace to this part of the world both by force and also by negotiations.  Here we are over thousands of years later and it is only now that we see that a solution is coming soon.  But the final 7 year covenant signing will first be preceded by a terrible war that will kill millions as the enemies of Israel try to overtake Jerusalem by force.

As you have read earlier in my post the United States and the Muslim nations are pressuring Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government to surrender East Jerusalem and vacate the Golan Heights and the West Bank so that the Palestinians can settle these areas with Jerusalem as the capital of both the Jews and Palestinians.  Israel is not going to give in to this pressure and you can be sure that this is going to lead to a nuclear war.  Isaiah 17 describes this perfectly.  "The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.  The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts."  (versus 1,2,3)  The chapter then goes on to say that right after the destruction of Damascus takes place then the invasion of Israel that is described here and also in the book of Ezekiel will take place.  " Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!  The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.  And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us."  Isaiah 17:12-14.  Foreshadows of this short war between Syria and Israel are evident right now.  Just watching the last couple of weeks, Syria said they will take the Golan Heights and they will use any means possible for that to happen.  Israel is saying they won't let them have it because it would be a serious security threat to the very existence to the survival of Israel as a nation.  With Syria taking over the Golan Heights, this would put every inch of Israel within easy range of future attacks by the Palestinians.  They simply can't allow this.  In today's edition of the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Prime Minister Netanyahu had the following to say regarding this issue:  "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a group of Russian-language reporters Thursday that Israel will never withdraw from the Golan Heights.  Remaining on the Golan will ensure Israel has a strategic advantage in cases of military conflict with Syria," Netanyahu said during a briefing he gave to the reporters.  Notice too, that he said that he is ready to "stand up to U.S. President Barack Obama and that he would not give up on matters that in his opinion are critical to Israel's security."  This is not going to sit well with our present administration and it certainly isn't going to sit well with Syria and the world.  The war drums are beginning to beat.  Isaiah 17:1-3 and the destruction of Damascus is coming soon.  A short history lesson for you.  The city of Damascus has been destroyed before.  You can do a google search and look this up.  But this will be the first time that the city will be destroyed and that it will no longer be able to be inhabited.  Why?  Because Damascus will be destroyed by nuclear weapons.  If it were not so, then, like the Gaza Strip, they could just build it up again as has been done in the past and they're back in business.  Syria has both chemical and biological weapons plants and they will probably use these weapons against Israel which will cause Israel to retaliate with nukes.  Otherwise, because of the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty they wouldn't use them.

We have been hearing a lot about Iran in the last few months.  There has been talk since before Bush left office that we would see Israel attack Iran with or without help from the United States.  The general consensus is that such an attack against Iran would probably not accomplish what it would be intended for without our help.  As reported in the news for the last several weeks, the Obama administration has said that we wouldn't help out with the Iranian threat unless Israel goes along with the peace plan that the world is trying to cram down their throats (paraphrased, but this is a true statement).  In other words, the U.S. is trying to blackmail Israel into this 2 state solution that the world wants.  We may be seeing the tables turned on the U.S. however.  It seems as though we are running out of money and since China isn't buying our debt like they have been, we've been looking for other sources of money from the Arabs in the oil rich gulf regions of Saudi Arabia.  We seemed to have run into a slight snag.  I quote from the DEBKAfile from May 8.  "A secret American delegation was sent by US President Barack Obama this week to solicit Saudi Arabian and other Gulf rulers for hundreds of billions of petro-dollars for investment in US and global economic stimulus plans, DEBKAfile's exclusive Gulf sources report. They came away empty-handed.  The chilly welcome received by the delegation, which met finance ministers and the heads of banks in Riyadh and the five emirates, was generated by wide disapproval of the US president's policy of engagement with Iran. Two other US missions had just been and gone, headed by defense secretary Robert Gates and special adviser to the US secretary of state for South Asia and Gulf affairs, Dennis Ross. Both failed to allay Gulf anger and trepidation over this policy."  So it looks like we may not have a choice but to help out with the Iranian threat.  It appears as though that if we want the continued support – and oil – from these regions then we might just have to cave in ourselves to lending a hand in dealing with Iran.  Interesting that the day after this report came out that another report has revealed that all of a sudden Obama has had a change of heart with his kissing up to Syria and Iran.  Hmmm, I wonder why?
