Headline: PMO: Israel will not change status quo on the Temple Mount
The Arab League discussed on Wednesday the possibility of filing a complaint to the UN Security Council over alleged “Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa compound”, the Palestinian Authority-based Ma’an news agency reported. The discussion was part of an “emergency session” that the Arab League called on Tuesday, at the request of the Palestinian Authority (PA) envoy. The discussion came in response to Tuesday’s Knesset debate about extending Israeli sovereignty over the Temple Mount. According to Ma’an, the Arab League council called upon the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to spread awareness regarding the “dangers” threatening the compound in order to gain support for the complaint. The council also called upon the EU, major powers, and UNESCO to take responsibility in Jerusalem and to protect Islamic and Christian holy sites from Israeli threats. The Arab League condemned what it called “the continuous Israeli violations of the Al-Aqsa compound,” reported Ma’an. The League added that there would be no peace without a Palestinian state with eastern Jerusalem as its capital, and claimed that recent Israeli actions are intended to foil the peace process. Meanwhile, Netanyahu’s office clarifies Israel will not change its policies on the Temple Mount, the Prime Minister’s Office made clear on Wednesday, a day after a Knesset debate on the issue triggered angry political reactions in the Arab world. “The policy of the government of Israel has been and continues to be the maintenance of the status quo at the Temple Mount, including freedom of access for all faiths to the holy sites,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s spokesman, Mark Regev, told The Jerusalem Post. “The government has no intention of changing this policy.”

Headline: ‘Nasrallah preps Hezbollah for possible war with Israel’
Israeli troops along the border with Lebanon were on high alert Wednesday night after Hezbollah threatened action over what it said was an Israeli air raid, according to AFP and Army Radio.”The military ordered farmers to stay away from the border… and there was movement of military vehicles around border communities,” Army Radio stated. The army itself did not make any statement. Earlier Wednesday, Hezbollah threatened to retaliate after Israel’s first reported air raid targeting a position of the Lebanese Shiite movement since a 2006 war between them. The terror group vowed revenge on Israel at “the appropriate time, place and means,” according to AFP. “This new attack amounts to blatant aggression against Lebanon, its sovereignty and territory,” the statement claimed.

Headline: Kerry: Peace Talks will Continue Beyond April
Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat on Thursday rebuffed US moves to extend an April deadline for nine months of talks with Israel, aimed at reaching a framework peace deal, saying Israel was acting in good faith. “There is no meaning to prolonging the negotiation, even for one more additional hour, if Israel, represented by its current government, continues to disregard international law,” the Palestinian official told AFP news agency, in an apparent reference to Israel’s continued settlement construction in the West Bank. Army Radio reported last week that Washington will demand Israel implement a partial settlement freeze once US Secretary of State John Kerry presents his framework for extending peace talks. The New York Times reported Thursday that US President Barack Obama “plans to plunge back into” Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts, beginning with an “urgent appeal” to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when the two meet next month. Quoting Obama’s advisors, the Times says that Obama will push Netanyahu to agree to the proposed framework agreement currently being drafted by Kerry, who is leading the current round of negotiations. Earlier this month, Erekat said that if US-brokered peace talks fail to result in an accord, the Palestinians would call for an economic boycott of Israel.

Headline: Abbas ‘exploded with rage’ at Kerry over ‘insane’ framework proposals
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas left a two-day meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Paris last week fuming over Kerry’s proposals for a framework accord between Israel and the Palestinians, according to a Palestinian report. The top American diplomat reportedly offered for Abbas to form a Palestinian capital in the neighborhood of Beit Hanina, not all of East Jerusalem, as the Palestinians have demanded. Kerry also suggested that Israel keep 10 settlement blocs as part of any territorial exchange, according to Al Quds, the most widely read Palestinian daily, on Wednesday. The Jordan Valley would not be part of a future Palestinian state, Palestinian sources told the paper, nor would there be an international force stationed there. And Kerry reportedly demanded that the Palestinians recognize Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people. The report, which received no official confirmation, said Abbas exploded with rage over the US secretary’s proposals, and described them as “insanity.” The PA president threatened to “overturn tables” and to go back on the flexibility he had shown in order to facilitate US-led peace efforts, according to Al Quds. The paper suggested that Abbas’s subsequent invitation to meet US President Barack Obama at the White House was a form of damage control on the part of the Americans.

Headline: ‘Stand Firm in the US’
U.S. President Barack Obama will meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the White House on March 17 to talk about Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, the White House said on Thursday.”They will also discuss our continuing effort to work cooperatively to strengthen the institutions that can support the establishment of a Palestinian state,” the White House said in a statement. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with Obama at the White House on Monday. The New York Time reported Thursday that Obama is expected to pressure Netanyahu during his visit to accept the framework agreement being drafted by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. Given the lack of progress in the peace talks with Israel, there had been some expectation in Ramallah that such an invitation would be forthcoming. Meanwhile, the heads of local government in Judea and Samaria sent a letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Thursday, ahead of his upcoming visit to the US, urging him to stand firm in defense of Israel’s interests. “As you embark on a round of talks in Washington with the US President and his ministers, we are sending you this heartfelt message… We strengthen your hands in the demand to recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish people and oppose any initiative for dividing the Land of Israel,” they wrote.

Jordan’s parliament voted unanimously to expel the Israeli ambassador and recall its own envoy on Wednesday, a day after Israeli lawmakers debated a proposal to take over a Jerusalem holy site administered by Jordanians. The vote by acclamation in Jordan’s 150-seat parliament is not binding to the Cabinet, which is keen to maintain diplomatic ties with Israel and, according to an official who spoke anonymously because of the issue’s sensitivity, plans no action before the Knesset debate concludes. Israeli lawmakers have not voted on the issue and it is unlikely to pass as the majority does not want to antagonize Muslims.

Headline: Jordan warns Israel: It may review peace treaty over Jerusalem debate
Jordan’s prime minister warned Wednesday that his country may review its 1994 peace treaty with Israel, after Israeli lawmakers this week discussed sovereignty over the Haram al-Sharif compound (Temple Mount) in the Old City of Jerusalem, French news agency AFP reported. “If Israel wants to violate the peace treaty in this issue, the entire treaty, its articles, details and wording will be put on the table,” Prime Minister Abdullah Nsur told Qatar’s Al-Watan newspaper in an interview, according to AFP. Nsur’s comments, quoted by state-run Petra news agency, came as Jordan’s parliament voted unanimously Wednesday to expel Israeli Ambassador Daniel Nevo and recall its own envoy. Yet following the fierce reaction to the Knesset discussion across the Arab world, Israel said it would not change its policies on the Temple Mount. Jordan is the custodian of Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem under the 1994 peace accord.

In the wake of Monday night’s alleged attack by Israel on a Hezbollah arms convoy, the organization’s chief, Hassan Nasrallah, warned key military personnel of the possibility of war with the Jewish state, a Lebanese journalist with close ties to the organization said on Thursday. “In his recent speech, Hassan Nasrallah warned that Hezbollah’s readiness against the [Israeli] enemy has nothing to do with other battles,” Ibrahim Al-Amin, editor of Lebanon’s Al-Akhbar daily wrote in a column. “What he did not say publicly, he told his party’s military personnel in closed meetings where he called them to action, saying that the resistance [Hezbollah] may be forced to wage a battle on three fronts at the same time: in Syria, inside [Lebanon], and against the [Israeli] enemy.”

Headline: Team al-Qaida now aiming at Lebanese army
The Jabhat al-Nusra Front, which is al-Qaida’s designated attack squad in Syria and now Lebanon, says the Lebanese army will be fair game for attacks because of what it perceives as the military’s cooperation in allowing Hezbollah to move supplies and fighters into Syria. The al-Qaida affiliate also is warning Lebanon’s Sunnis to stay out of the way when its fighters engage Hezbollah, a Shiite group affiliated with Iran, inside Lebanon. Hezbollah made the decision last year to send fighters into Syria to help keep the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in power. Assad, a Shiite Alawite, is allied with Iran and plays a role in part of what is referred to as the Shiite Crescent, stretching across Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. Meantime, al-Nusra in Lebanon in a Twitter feed said that “any rational human being is aware of the injustice inflicted by Iran’s party on all the Lebanese and Syrian regions, especially in (the Syrian border towns of Qusair and Qalamoun.” “This wouldn’t have happened without Hezbollah men and equipment passing into Syria through the Lebanese border crossings under the eyes of the government and the Lebanese army which it controls,” the Twitter feed said. “Hezbollah is replacing its fighters daily in Syria through the army crossings. It has also tasked the Lebanese army with protecting its quarters so that it can devote itself to battling the Sunni-Syrian people, thus putting the Lebanese army at the forefront to pay the price of its crimes in Syria,” said the statement. Al-Nusra and a companion group, Abdullah Assam Brigade, have taken responsibility for a series of suicide car bombs since last July in the Hezbollah strongholds of the Bekaa Valley and south Beirut. As recently as last week, al-Nusra claimed responsibility for a suicide car bomb at an army checkpoint in Hermel.

Headline: Egypt’s president reshuffles top military council
Egypt’s interim president has issued a decree reshuffling the country’s top military council and installing for the first time the military chief as its leader. Adly Mansour’s decree Thursday is part of series of declarations related to rearranging the country’s sprawling security establishment nearly two months before presidential elections. It puts the military chief — now Field Marshal Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi — in charge of the council. El-Sissi must step down before his widely expected run for president. The next army chief would take his council spot. The decree also rearranges and increases the number of members of the country’s Supreme Council for Armed Forces, which led the country after the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak in 2011. El-Sissi led the July overthrow of Islamist Mohammed Morsi, Egypt’s first freely elected president.

Syrian government forces have ambushed and killed a large number of Islamist rebel fighters in the eastern outskirts of the capital Damascus, reports say. Syrian state media say 175 died. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says it has received reports that about 70 died in the fighting in the Eastern Ghouta region. The Observatory, which is close to the rebels, also said about 3,300 people had been killed in fighting between rebel factions so far this year. “Some 3,300 people have been killed ever since the start of fighting on January 3 between the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant on one side, and Islamist and other groups on the other,” it said. The deaths came in “car and (other) bomb attacks, suicide blasts and fighting”, it added. Feb 26, 2014

Headline: US denounces ‘detentions’ of Assad opponents’ relatives
The US has accused the Syrian government of undermining the Geneva II peace talks by detaining the relatives of opposition delegates. Expressing Washington’s “outrage”, state department spokeswoman Jen Psaki called on Damascus to “unconditionally release all those unfairly arrested”. Among those held is Mahmoud Sabra, the brother of the National Coalition’s legal adviser Mohammed Sabra. The second round of the talks in Geneva broke down earlier this month. UN mediator Lakhdar Brahimi said it was primarily because the Syrian government had refused to discuss the opposition’s demands. Officials in Damascus routinely refer to all opponents of President Bashar al-Assad as “terrorists” and recently designated all National Coalition members as such, including civilians. The regime is not only defying the international community but also seeking to suppress the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people” Jen Psaki US state department said the US government was outraged by reports that the Syrian authorities had “arrested family members of the Syrian opposition coalition delegation to the Geneva II talks, designated delegates as terrorists, and seized delegates’ assets”. “We call on the regime to immediately and unconditionally release all those unfairly arrested, including Mahmoud Sabra, brother of Geneva delegation member Mohammed Sabra,” a statement from her added. “By targeting family members of opposition delegates participating in the Geneva talks, the regime is not only defying the international community but also seeking to suppress the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people.”

Listed below are the nations which will attack Israel from Ezekiel chapter 38 and their modern day names.
Gog is the leader of the Russian invasion of Israel.
Magog, Meshech, and Tubal comprise modern day Russia.
Persia is Iran, parts of northern Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Cush is Ethiopia and Sudan.
Put is Libya and will most likely include Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.
Gomer is Eastern Germany.
Beth Togarmah is Turkey and Armenia.
There are major differences between the Psalm 83 war and the Ezekiel 38 war which shows us they are not the same war. Here are a few major differences. At the current time Israel is still calling for Peace and safety and they have bars, gates, and walls to protect them from the PLO. The told Ezekiel this war will take place when Israel is living in peace and feeling safe. As long as the enemies of Israel listed in the Psalm 83 war are working to wipe out Israel, Israel will never feel safe enough to remove any of the bars, gates, or walls which shows us the Psalm war has to take place first. Another major difference between the Psalm war and Ezekiel war is the nations who attack Israel are different. In the Psalm 83 war you see the nations that border Israel attacking her. The nations listed to attack Israel in the Ezekiel war do not show any of the nations which are listed in the Psalm war. Why? The answer is simple. Israel will already have destroyed the nations who attacked them in the Psalm 83 war and they will make no other to attempt to wipe them out. When the nations listed in the Ezekiel war see what Israel did to their Brothers listed in the Psalm war they in turn will pick up the torch and try to do what the Psalm 83 nations couldn’t do, wipe Israel off the map. How will this Ezekiel 38-39 war end. God tells us that 5/6 of the entire army that attacks Israel will be killed. At the end of the day Israel will have won the Psalm 83 war and the Ezekiel war. In the Psalm 83 war the IDF will have defeated their enemies. In the Ezekiel it will be God who steps in to wipe out all the armies who try to wipe out Israel. The current events you are now witnessing in the Middle East is setting up the scene for both the Psalm war and Ezekiel war.

I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says the Lord; ‘And I will send the sword after them Until I have consumed them. 38 I will set My throne in Elam, And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the Lord. 39 ‘But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam,’ says the Lord.”
Headline: IAEA decided against publishing report that could’ve angered Iran
The UN nuclear watchdog planned a major report on Iran that might have revealed more of its suspected atomic bomb research, but held off as Tehran’s relations with the outside world thawed, sources familiar with the matter said. Such a report – to have been prepared last year – would almost certainly have angered Iran and complicated efforts to settle a decade-old dispute over its atomic aspirations, moves which accelerated after pragmatic President Hassan Rouhani took office in August. According to the sources, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has apparently dropped the idea of a new report, at least for the time being. There was no immediate comment from the IAEA. The sources said there was no way of knowing what information collected by the agency since it issued a landmark report on Iran in 2011 might have been incorporated in the new document, although one said it could have added to worries about Tehran’s activities. As relations rapidly improved, Iran struck an interim nuclear deal with six world powers in November which Israel denounced as an “historic mistake” as it did not require Tehran to dismantle its uranium enrichment sites.

Headline: Sudan sends new troops to front lines as peace talks resume
Khartoum dispatched reinforcements to its front lines Thursday as government and rebel delegations gathered in the Ethiopian capital to resume talks to end fighting in Sudan’s South Kordofan and Blue Nile states. The African Union-mediated negotiations aim to end the nearly three-year-old war in the two restive states, which aid groups say has left 1.2 million people in need of humanitarian assistance. Sudan’s Armed Forces are battling ethnic insurgents of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North. In a statement, SAF said it held a ceremony on Thursday to send more than a battalion to the “operational areas”, which it did not name. “SAF troops are ready to defeat the rebels,” said State Minister of Defence Yahya Mohammed Khair, former governor of Blue Nile. The military has made similar vows before, leading only to “the same stalemate,” an African diplomat said last week.

Headline: Jobless protesters clash with police in Tunisia mining town
Clashes erupted Thursday between Tunisian police and jobless protesters, in the latest outbreak of social unrest in the neglected but resources-rich central Gafsa region, an AFP journalist reported. The protesters placed burning tyres in the streets of Metlaoui, around 350 kilometres (220 miles) south of Tunis, and hurled rocks at the police who fired tear gas in response. On Wednesday night, demonstrators set fire to the local office of Tunisia’s main Islamist party Ennahda, and also partially damaged a court building, while on Tuesday night they torched a police post. The riots were triggered by the announcement earlier this week of the results of a recruitment process by a public company operating in the environmental sector, which the protesters believe unfairly excluded them. Social discontent in Tunisia often leads to violence, especially in the impoverished centre of the country, where a street vendor set himself on fire more than three years ago in a desperate act of protest that launched the first Arab Spring uprising.

Morocco has halted judicial cooperation with France, blocking procedures from prisoner transfers to joint investigations, officials said on Thursday, in a growing dispute with its former colonial ruler over allegations of human rights abuses. French President Francois Hollande spoke to the Moroccan king this week to try to defuse the rare row with Rabat, an ally under fire from rights groups over police abuses, press freedom and judicial independence. Rabat on Saturday summoned the French ambassador after French police went to the Moroccan Embassy in Paris seeking to question the head of the domestic intelligence service (DRT) over torture allegations, following lawsuits filed against him in France by French-Moroccan activists. “We haven’t received any explanation regarding the seven French police officers who went to question the head of the territorial surveillance,” Moroccan government spokesman Mustapha Khalfi told reporters. “That damaged the integrity of the Moroccan judiciary system … That is why we decided to suspend the whole judicial cooperation with France until an update of those agreements.”

Headline: Ukraine tensions hit shares, euro drops to 2-week low
Tension in Ukraine and Russia curbed risk appetite on Thursday, weighing on world stocks and pushing the euro, already under pressure from talk of interest rate cuts, to a two-week low. Sabre-rattling over Ukraine grew, with Russia’s Defence Ministry quoted as saying fighter jets along its western borders have been put on alert, a day after it called a snap military exercise of 150,000 troops. Ukraine said it would regard any movements by the Russian military in Crimea outside the Russian Black Sea fleet’s base in Sevastopol as an act of aggression. The Russian rouble slid to a fresh five-year low against the dollar, while Ukraine’s hryvnia reached a record low after its central bank abandoned its managed exchange rate policy. Wall Street was set for a subdued start, but the sharpening rhetoric in Ukraine held down Europe’s main markets. German stocks on the DAX suffered their biggest drop in a month and the euro dropped to a two-week low of $1.3641. “The weakness in Europe today appears to be down to geopolitical uncertainty and the associated rise in risk aversion,” said Robert Parkes, an equities strategist at HSBC in London. There was plenty of additional pressure for the euro. A downward revision to Spanish fourth-quarter GDP figures came alongside ECB data showing little improvement in the amount of credit reaching euro zone firms. German inflation figures also suggested there would be scant pick-up in the euro zone inflation when it is published on Friday.

Headline: Rome on the Brink as Detroit-Style Bankruptcy Meltdown Looms
Italy’s historic capital is on the brink of bankruptcy as its mayor plans to plead for a bailout from the national government. Mayor Ignazio Marino told the Wall Street Journal that he is in daily discussions with Italy’s national government. But he stressed the parties “just needed to identify the right amount of money the government should give to Rome”. Marino explained the capital deserved state support because of the vast amounts of tourists who flock to the city, but fail to contribute to its fragile economy. The news comes after new Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi had to stop a decree from his predecessor that would have helped fill the city’s €816m financial black-hole. Renzi had to stop the proposal from going before parliament after political pressure suggested it would be unlikely to pass a vote. The Mayor now has to take drastic measures to help improve the municipality’s finances, which could lead to wage cuts for the city’s 20,000 strong workforce.

A Labor Department spokesman said no states were estimated and there was nothing unusual in the data. Cold temperatures and winter storms have damped progress in the housing and labor market, indicating growth slowed in the first two months of the year.

Headline: North Korea launches missiles into sea
North Korea launched four short-range missiles into the East Sea — also known as the Sea of Japan — the South Korean Defense Ministry said Thursday. The missiles, which do not appear to have been sent toward South Korean waters, were fired toward Russia, fell into the sea and are considered a very low-level matter, the Pentagon said. The missiles were fired just days after the start of annual joint military exercises between South Korea and the United States that North Korea opposes. The joint military exercises routinely spark tension between North Korea, South Korea and the United States. For example, last year’s exercises triggered weeks of heightened tensions between the nations and North Korean war threats, including an incident in May when the country fired up to six short-range missiles. The South Korean and U.S. militaries have not been specific about where they are conducting their drills, and it was unclear if the missiles were fired in the direction of the exercises. South Korea’s Defense Ministry said it would provide more details at a news conference later.

Headline: Russian spy ship docked in Havana
A Russian warship was docked in Havana Wednesday, without explanation from Communist Cuba or its state media. The Viktor Leonov CCB-175 boat, measuring 91.5 meters (300 feet) long and 14.5 meters wide, was docked at the port of Havana’s cruise ship area, near the Russian Orthodox Cathedral. The Vishnya, or Meridian-class intelligence ship, which has a crew of around 200, went into service in the Black Sea in 1988 before it was transferred seven years later to the northern fleet, Russian media sources said. Neither Cuban authorities nor state media have mentioned the ship’s visit, unlike on previous tours by Russian warships. The ship is reportedly armed with 30mm guns and anti-aircraft missiles. Its visit comes as isolated Havana’s current economic and political patron, Venezuela, is facing unprecedented violent protests against President Nicolas Maduro’s government.

I will cut off man from the face of the land,” Says the Lord.” (Zephaniah) “There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. Because of this the land mourns, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the fish of the sea are dying. I am praying that if you keep coming to my site and see the things that our Lord said would happen prior to His second coming that you start to tell others to get ready to meet Jesus. I know there are many who think there is no God but I can assure you all this world is about to see first hand the acts of God in these last days. One of the things we are witnessing that our Lord warned about was the birds, fish, and animals dying off. If you are a regular visitor at my site you are witnessing first hand how this prophecy is coming to pass. Almost every day now we are reading the reports of either the fish, birds, or animals dying off in mass numbers. The reports you will read about below were just added to my book. There is page after page of these mass deaths in my prophecy book and each day that list grows. What will it take to see that something major is wrong? Don’t let your unbelief keep you from knowing the truth of the last days! Jesus is showing you these things to get your attention. Why? Because He is looking for you to enter your name in His Book of Life. That’s right, you can enter it! How? By asking Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior. Once you act on this it is the same as entering your name in His book because as soon as you show Jesus that you want to be born again in Him He will write down your name in His Book of Life. How is Christ going to enter your name in His book if you deny Him? If your name in not found in that book you are on your way to where? Hell! Did you know that Jesus Christ spoke more about hell than any one in the entire Bible? Satan doesn’t want anyone to believe in this hell fire place but, many have already found out the hard way that it in fact is a place of torment and that torment never stops. If you still don’t believe in Christ then just do this for me. At least keep coming to my site. Watch the news and see how God continues to fulfill His prophecies. Coming up soon are some major prophecies that are very specific prophecies such as the Psalm 83 war and Ezekiel38 wars against Israel. I am sure that many of you who don’t believe may come to Christ when you see those wars go down just as the Lord warned. I pray that if you have unbelief that soon you will ask Christ into your life.
“For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due”(Romans1:26-27) Matthew 24: 37-39 concerning what the last generation would be like just prior to His second coming. In verses 37-39 Jesus shows us our generation would be just like that of Noah’s. This generation turned from God and followed their own lusts and became evil people. We know part of Noah’s generation troubles came on them when they turned to homosexuality. How do we know this? Notice that Jesus compared Noah’s day to Sodom and Gomorrah and then linked it to the time of his return. I quote our Lord. Luke 17: 25-30. “But first must He [Christ] suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30“Even thus shall it be in the Day when the Son of Man is revealed.”
Headline: D.C. health plans to include gender-reassignment surgeries
D.C. Mayor Vincent C. Gray on Thursday announced that the city will recognize gender identity disorder as a medical condition and mandate insurance companies cover associated treatments — including gender-reassignment surgery. The coverage extends to all insured city residents — including the roughly one-third of residents receiving Medicaid benefits — who are diagnosed by a doctor with the condition and for whom treatment is deemed medically necessary. “This action places the District at the forefront of advancing the rights of transgender individuals,” Mr. Gray said during an announcement at his ceremonial office at city hall. The move comes after city officials in March issued a bulletin notifying health insurers to remove language that discriminated on the basis of gender identity and expression from their policies in order to allow transgendered individuals to obtain medical benefits.

Headline: Same-sex marriage now legally recognized in Kentucky
A federal judge on Thursday signed an order directing officials in Kentucky to immediately recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states and countries. U.S. District Judge John G. Heyburn II issued a final order throwing out part of the state’s ban on gay marriages. It makes official his Feb. 12 ruling that Kentucky’s ban on same-sex marriages treated “gay and lesbian persons differently in a way that demeans them.” Same-sex couples may change their names on official identifications and documents and obtain any other benefits of a married couple in Kentucky. The order doesn’t affect a related lawsuit seeking to force the state to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. The order came just hours after the Kentucky’s attorney general asked for a 90-day delay. The two-page filing says the delay is sought to give that office time to decide whether to appeal the Feb. 12 ruling and would give the state an opportunity to prepare to implement the order.

Headline: Syrian Christians sign treaty of submission to Islamists
Christian leaders in the northern Syrian city of Raqqa, captured by an organization formerly affiliated with al-Qaeda, have signed a submission document this week banning them from practicing Christianity in public in return for protection by their Islamist rulers. The document, dated Sunday and disseminated through Islamist Twitter accounts, states that the Christian community in the province of Raqqa, captured last March by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), was recently given three options: to convert to Islam; to remain Christian but pledge submission to Islam; or to “face the sword.” They opted for the second of those choices, known as dhimmitude. Earlier this month, al-Qaeda’s central command distanced itself from ISIS, saying it was “not a branch of al-Qaeda.” The authenticity of the document, displaying the stamp of al-Qaeda, could not be independently verified. The signatures of 20 Christian leaders at the bottom of the document said to have been party to the agreement were blotted out, ostensibly at their own request. According to classic Islamic law, Christians and Jews living under Muslim sovereignty must pay a tax known as jizya in return for the Muslim ruler’s protection, known as dhimma.

Headline: Kenya: Gang Raids Bamburi Church, Injures Three
THREE people were injured after a gang of about 10 people attacked worshipers at a church in Bamburi’s Mwembe Legeza area in Mombasa yesterday morning. The gang had earlier unsuccessfully tried to attack four priests, five nuns and some church orderlies from Bride of the Lamb International Ministries, who live in a house adjacent to the church. One of those injured by the gang has been admitted at the Coast General Hospital where he is receiving treatment. The church and the priests’ residence are about 500 metres from Kisauni deputy county commissioner Tom Anjere’s office. The gang gained entry into the priests’ compound after they cut the iron sheet fence. They were however escaped after some men at the church raised the alarm. “They then fled to an adjacent church, the Tower of Faith Church, where four men were preparing to sleep just after the 12am prayers,” said Joseph Onyango, who is in charge of security at the priests’ house. The gang injured four men at the Tower of Faith Church in the head, hands, shoulders and leg. One of them hid behind a couch and was not seen. “We tried to fight them but they overpowered us. They switched off the lights so we could not see them. They were asking for our pastor, Jeremiah Muteti,” said Onesmus Makau, who was injured in the head and shoulders.

Headline: Sun unleashes powerful X4.9 flare
Long-lived sunspot AR1967 returned to the Earthside of the sun on Feb. 25th and promptly erupted, producing an X4.9-class solar flare. This is the strongest flare of the year so far and one of the strongest of the current solar cycle. A movie from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory shows the explosion hurling a loop of hot plasma away from the blast site: Coronagraphs onboard the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory tracked this material as it raced away from the sun, eventually forming a bright CME, pictured below. Radio emissions from shock waves at the leading edge of the CME suggest an expansion velocity near 2000 km/s or 4.4 million mph. If such a fast-moving cloud did strike Earth, the resulting geomagnetic storms could be severe. An interplanetary shock wave hit Earth’s magnetic field today at approximately 1645 UT (11:45 AM EST). This is the expected glancing blow from the CME produced by the X4.9-class solar flare of Feb. 25th.

I like to call this “The Arab Spring in Prophecy” because for us it is easy to identify- that’s what the world calls it. Luke 21:9: wars & commotions; the Greek word here is Akatastasia, meaning instability, a state of disorder, disturbance, confusion (revolutions) Matthew 24:7: the Greek word for nation is Ethnos & refers to various ethnic groups fighting among themselves, where the next sentence in the verse refers to kingdoms (basileiva) fighting one another (not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom)

At least five people have been injured in clashes between Peruvian police and protesters in the southeastern tourist region of Cuzco. Hundreds of people joined two days of protests, which began on February 25, in the city of Cuzco against government plans to postpone construction projects in the city. Cuzco union official Wilfredo Alvarez said protest organizers demanded that the government of President Ollanta Humala fulfill its promises to build infrastructure projects such as a gas pipeline and an international airport in the city. Clashes, however, broke out on Wednesday, the second day of protests, after police fired tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, who were armed with sticks and rocks. Venezuela’s opposition refused Wednesday to take part in talks that were called by the government in a bid to halt three weeks of protests that have left 14 dead. “We will not lend ourselves to a sham dialogue that would end in a mockery of our compatriots,” the opposition coalition MUD said in a letter to Vice President Jorge Arreaza. President Nicolas Maduro had called a “national peace conference” for later in the day, but so far only the country’s leading business federation and Venezuela’s Roman Catholic church have confirmed they would attend. The opposition’s main leader Henrique Capriles had earlier said he would not attend, dismissing the talks as a government photo op.

Headline: Suicide car bomb kills at least 10 in Somali capital
An Islamist militant suicide bomber drove a car into a Mogadishu cafe frequented by members of the security forces on Thursday, killing at least 10 people and blowing the place to bits. Al Shabaab said it had carried out the attack, which followed an assault by its fighters on the president’s palace in the Somali capital last week. “Today’s blast was part of our operations in Mogadishu and we shall continue,” said Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, al Shabaab’s military operations spokesman. He said the attack had targeted security personnel who were sitting in the tea shop, killed 11 of them and wounded 15 others. Police said at least 10 people died at the tea shop, which is popular with security personnel as it is near their compound. “A bomber swerved his car bomb into a tea shop where national security men were sitting and blew up,” Police Colonel Abdikadir Hussein told Reuters. “The tea shop was completely destroyed.”

Headline: As Boko Haram slaughters students, where is Nigeria’s Army?
Headline: Soldiers flee, 33 die in attacks in north Nigeria
Another heinous slaughter by Boko Haram, this time of 40 to 60 young male students, underscores how insecure and fraught daily life has become in northern Nigeria – despite an Army crackdown on the shadowy radicals launched nine months ago. On Tuesday at 2 a.m., in a familiar pattern of early morning raids, the radicals set fire to a boarding school in Yobe State and killed students aged 10-16 as they tried to escape. Other students perished in the blaze, according to teachers, some of whom escaped into the bush. The latest attacks began Wednesday night in Kirchinga village of Adamawa state, near the Cameroon border, with insurgents in a convoy of 13 all-terrain pickup trucks shooting automatic guns and rocket-propelled grenades as they lobbed firebombs into thatch-roofed huts.Outnumbered and outgunned soldiers in northeast Nigeria abandoned checkpoints, leaving five villages and a town at the mercy of Islamic extremists who killed at least 33 people and firebombed a theological college in overnight attacks that lasted hours, survivors said Thursday. The military, which regularly downplays death tolls, said six attackers, one soldier and three civilians died. The recent assaults in an Islamic uprising gripping the northeast of Africa’s biggest oil producer comes amid widespread criticism of military failures despite a nine-month-old state of emergency. ‘‘It is curious that under an emergency rule when security operatives are on red alert, this mayhem still persists,’’ Senate president David Mark said Wednesday in a statement calling the attacks an ‘‘open declaration of war.’’ A furious Yobe state Gov. Murtala Hammanyero Nyako suggested there must be collusion with the Boko Haram terrorist network.

Headline: Ukraine leader warns Russia after armed men seize government HQ in Crimea
Russia scrambled fighter jets to patrol its border and reportedly gave shelter to Ukraine’s fugitive president as pro-Russian gunmen stormed offices of Ukraine’s strategic region of Crimea, deepening the crisis for the new Ukrainian government even as it was being formed. The moves pose an immediate challenge to Ukraine’s new authorities as they seek to set up an interim government for the country, whose population is divided in loyalties between Russia and the West. Ukraine’s new prime minister said the country’s future lies in the European Union but with friendly relations with Russia. Moscow, meanwhile, has launched a massive military exercise involving 150,000 troops and put fighter jets on patrol along the border. A respected Russian news organization reported that the fugitive president, Viktor Yanukovych, who was driven out of Kiev by a three-month protest movement, was staying in a Kremlin sanatorium just outside Moscow. “I have to ask Russia to ensure my personal safety from extremists,” Yanukovych said in a statement carried by Russian news agencies on Thursday. He said he still considers himself president and sees the new Ukrainian authorities as illegitimate. Meanwhile, Armed men seized the regional government headquarters and parliament in Ukraine’s Crimea on Thursday and raised the Russian flag, alarming Kiev’s new rulers, who urged Moscow not to abuse its navy base rights on the peninsula by moving troops around. “I am appealing to the military leadership of the Russian Black Sea fleet,” said Olexander Turchinov, acting president since the removal of Viktor Yanukovich last week. “Any military movements, the more so if they are with weapons, beyond the boundaries of this territory (the base) will be seen by us as military aggression. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry also summoned Russia’s acting envoy in Kiev for immediate consultations.

Thanks Frank and God Bless You. Everyday I get stronger in my faith. Today I woke to a sky full of fresh chem-trails. The blue sky will be overcast in about an hour here in Columbus ohio. I am dumbfounded that no one asks why. Then I remember until I accepted Jesus as my savior that I didn’t see it either. Thank you for all you efforts and ministry.
