Headline: UN Secretary-General weighs lumping Israel in with ISIS and Al Qaeda
This week Senators Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz have posed a challenge for would-be presidents and all Americans: if the United Nations criminalizes Israel’s exercise of the right of self-defense it will pay a heavy price. The organization has no right to expect billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to be doled out every year when they are spent undercutting our deepest values and our national security. Graham and Cruz’s comments come after learning that UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is now weighing whether to sign off on a report emanating from an Algerian U.N. “human rights expert” that analogizes Israel to ISIS, Boko Haram and Al Qaeda. Leila Zerrougui’s rights expertise includes eight years (2000-2008) as legal advisor to Algeria’s President-for-life Abdelaziz Bouteflika. Moreover, in the coming weeks, the U.N. will issue another report on Israel’s “criminal” response to Hamas genocidaires in Gaza, commissioned by UN Human Rights Council authorities like Russia, China and Saudi Arabia. These attacks on Israel are part of a concerted effort by the vast U.N. machinery to rewrite international law to the advantage of terrorists who use civilians as human shields – thereby encouraging the use of more civilians as human shields. What begins as the demonization of Israel, affects every democratic society forced to defend itself against Hamas or Hezbollah or ISIS or Boko Haram or al-Qaeda.

Headline: Senior IDF Officer Warns of ‘Approaching Storm’
Israeli aircraft attacked a terrorist infrastructure in northern Gaza overnight Saturday, in retaliation for a rocket attack on Ashkelon several hours earlier, the IDF Spokesperson said in a statement. In addition, following several rocket attacks in recent days, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon has decided to close the Erez and Kerem Shalom border crossings between Gaza and Israel, the statement said. The crossings will only be opened in humanitarian cases, and the decision on the opening of the crossings will be made on the basis of a security assessment and in accordance with security considerations. “The Hamas terrorist organization is responsible” for the continuous rocket attacks on southern Israel, said the IDF statement.

Headline: Netanyahu Blasts World’s Silence on New Gaza Rocket Attacks on Israel
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sharply criticized the international community for what he called “silence” in response to multiple Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel during the past two weeks. “I have not heard anyone in the international community condemn this firing; neither has [the] U.N. said a word,” Netanyahu said during his weekly cabinet meeting Sunday. “It will be interesting if this silence continues when we use our full strength to uphold our right to defend ourselves.” Israeli officials often point to what they believe to be a double standard when it comes to Israel in the media, at the United Nations, and among its allies who loudly excoriate Israel in the event of Palestinian civilian casualties while appearing to gloss over Hamas violations. “Let it be clear: The spreading hypocrisy in the world will not tie our hands and prevent us from protecting Israel’s citizens. Thus we have acted; thus we will act,” Netanyahu said. The Times of Israel noted that following a Palestinian rocket attack last week, a spokesman for U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called on “all parties to avoid further escalation and prevent incidents that jeopardize the lives of Israeli and Palestinian civilians.”

Headline: Report: Salafists Trying to Get IAF to Oust Hamas For Them
Headline: ISIS purloined rockets from Hamas production lines to attack Israel. Netanyahu marks out wide sterile zone
Salafist groups in Gaza are intentionally provoking Israel in order to have the Israeli Air Force (IAF) finish off Hamas for them, a senior defense official theorized Sunday. “The purpose of the latest rocket fire from Gaza is to light a fire between Hamas and Israel,” the defense official stated to Walla! News on condition of anonymity. “They expect Israel to attack Hamas for them.” He spoke hours after the IAF eliminated terror targets, following a rocket strike just outside Ashkelon for which a Salafist organization later took responsibility. “The situation is quite complicated – on the one hand we want Hamas weakened – but, on the other hand, we it to be strong enough to prevent terror attacks [from other groups – ed.] such as rocket fire into Israel,” stressed the official. “Gaza may be cut off geographically from the rest of the events in the Middle East, but it is not ideologically detached,” he added. The ideas behind Islamic State (ISIS) are gaining popularity in Gaza, he added, under the influence of Sinai branch Ansar Beyt Al-Maqdis.

Headline: China demands workers sent to Israel not be placed in West Bank settlements
Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon’s plan to bring Chinese construction workers to Israel in order to accelerate the pace of residential building in Israel has hit a diplomatic snag, in the form of Beijing’s demand that the workers not be employed in West Bank Jewish settlements, purportedly out of concern for their safety. China’s demand is holding up the implementation of a cabinet resolution from about a year ago that provided for a boost in the number of foreign construction workers, initially to 8,000 and later to 15,000, as part of a plan to increase the housing supply and in consequence to decrease home prices. Even the 8,000 figure has not been reached, rendering the program meaningless in effect for now. The Chinese and Israeli governments have negotiated over the employment of Chinese workers in Israel for a number of years. The agreement would replace the current arrangement, in which private companies contract directly with Chinese firms that supply the labor, an arrangement that has resulted in allegations of serious violations of labor laws.

Headline: Supreme Court strikes down ‘born in Jerusalem’ passport law
The Supreme Court struck down a disputed law Monday that would have allowed Americans born in Jerusalem to list their birthplace as Israel on their U.S. passports in an important ruling that underscores the president’s authority in foreign affairs. The court ruled 6-3 that Congress overstepped its bounds when it approved the law in 2002. It would have forced the State Department to alter its long-standing policy of not listing Israel as the birthplace for Jerusalem-born Americans and listing only “Jerusalem.” The policy is part of the government’s refusal to recognize any nation’s sovereignty over Jerusalem, until Israelis and Palestinians resolve its status through negotiations. Justice Anthony Kennedy said in his majority opinion that the president has the exclusive power to recognize foreign nations, and that the power to determine what a passport says is part of this power.

Headline: 3 Hezbollah fighters killed as group advances near Arsal’s outskirts
Hezbollah’s death toll in the battle against jihadis on Lebanon’s eastern borders has risen to at least 29, with three fighters dying Friday as the group advanced further into Arsal’s outskirts. Meanwhile, Hezbollah and the Syrian army made new advancements in Syrian territory east of the area, capturing a new hilltop. According to The Daily Star’s security sources, three Hezbollah fighters were killed during the battles Friday against Nusra Front militants in the southern part of Arsal’s outskirts. The group has lost at least 29 fighters since it launched a military offensive alongside the Syrian army against jihadis in the Qalamoun hills. On Saturday, Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV announced that the group’s fighters and Syrian army soldiers captured the hill of Sadr al-Bustan, thus taking control of the outskirts of Flita, a Syrian village east of Arsal. The battles in the village had been going on for weeks between Hezbollah and its Syrian army allies and the Nusra Front.

Headline: Nuclear Saudis? ‘All options on the table’ over Iran deal, Riyadh’s ambassador to UK warns
Saudi Arabia is ready to acquire nuclear weapons if diplomatic talks aimed at halting Iran’s nuclear ambitions break down, the Saudi ambassador to the UK has said. Prince Mohammed bin Nawwaf bin Abdulaziz al-Saud said the oil-rich Gulf kingdom hoped negotiations being led by US President Barack Obama would result in a “watertight” deal with Iran. However if does not happen, then “all options are on the table,” he said. Riyadh accuses Iran of destabilizing the region by funding Houthi rebels in Yemen, the site of a current proxy conflict between the two Middle Eastern powers. Prince Mohammad’s threat came in an interview with The Telegraph published Monday. Negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 – the US, UK, France, China and Russia (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council) and Germany – are due to close at the end of June.

Syria Headline: Syrian air raids kill 49 in northwestern village, activists say
Government airstrikes on a northwestern Syrian village Monday killed at least 49 people and destroyed homes, shops and cars, activists said. The Local Coordination Committees said two air raids on the village of Janoudiyeh in Idlib province killed 60 people and wounded others. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the air raid killed 49 people, including six children. It said the death toll could rise as some people are still missing. Conflicting reports often emerge in the chaotic aftermath of such events. The Observatory said the air raid struck a public square in Janoudiyeh, near the town of Jisr al-Shughour, which was captured by insurgents in April. It said the village has become home to many displaced people from nearby areas. A video uploaded onto the Internet by activists showed a chaotic, smoke-filled scene, with people running past damaged cars, and bodies scattered on the street. Women screamed as men hurriedly covered bodies and pulled wounded people from the rubble before an ambulance arrived. “My son was killed!” a man screamed. “We need cars!” another man shouted, as a third, covered in blood, sat on the debris. The video appeared genuine and corresponded to other AP reporting.

Iraq Headline: Iraqi troops reportedly advance against ISIS in key refinery town
Iraqi troops and Shiite militias recaptured key parts of the refinery town of Beiji from ISIS Sunday, a general said. The victory comes a day after Iraqi forces were able to withstand two attacks from ISIS in the hotly contested Anbar province Saturday. The commander of the Interior Ministry’s Quick Reaction Forces, Brig. Gen. Nassir al-Fartousi, told state TV that the Iraqi flag was raised on a local government building in Beiji and that troops were advancing to other areas, without elaborating. The spokesman of Joint Operations Command, Brig. Gen. Saad Maan Ibrahim, said the security forces “are now controlling” the downtown Beiji area, describing the advance as an “important victory.” “The enemy has suffered a defeat and has sustained heavy losses and we hope that the whole city will be cleared within few days,” Maan told The Associated Press in a brief interview, saying “dozens” of IS militants had been killed. Beiji, some 155 miles north of Baghdad, fell to ISIS during its blitz across northern Iraq nearly a year ago

A suicide car bomb ripped through roadside restaurants at the entrance to the town of Baladruz in eastern Iraq, killing at least 15 people, police and provincial officials said Sunday. The attack took place late Saturday at the entrance of Baladruz, which lies about 65 kilometers (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad, and was claimed by ISIS. “It hit a string of restaurants on the eastern side of town… Most of the people there were truck drivers transporting goods between Baghdad and Kurdistan,” a police captain said. The officer said 37 people were also wounded in the explosion. Khidhr Muslim Abed, a member of the Diyala provincial council, confirmed the toll. ISIS claimed the attack in a statement posted on jihadi forums Sunday and said that one of those killed was a member of the counterterrorism unit in Iraq’s police.

Kurdish Headline: Al-Qaeda Leader Predicts Kurdish Uprising in Iran
The leader of Al Qaeda in Syria has predicted a Kurdish uprising in Iran, while renouncing intentions to drag the United States further into conflict in Iraq and Syria. Abu Muhammed al-Joulani gave an interview with Al Jazeera Arabic on June 3 in which he made the announcements. While it had been the strategy of Al Qaeda to drag the US into war in Afghanistan and Iraq last decade, the Nusra Front, Al Qaeda’s Syrian arm has no wishes to do so currently in Iraq and Syria. “That’s not what we are striving to do,” Joulani said. “We will make do with chopping off Iran’s hands and arms in the region. If more than this is necessary, we will transfer the battle.” Joulani claimed that “Iran is sitting on a volcano that is about to erupt” given the situation with its minority ethnicities. “It has eight million Kurds, who have been marginalized, as well as the marginalized Ahwazi Arabs. In Baluchistan, there are [Sunni] tribes, which are divided.” He also asserted that Iran has more than 20 million Sunni Muslims. The Jihadist leader cited recent protests in Ahwaz and Kurdistan, claiming they could spread to other areas. “If there is instability in the areas mentioned, Iran will automatically fall back to its domestic affairs,” he concluded.

Headline: ISIS’s Military Operations during Ramadan: A Forecast for 2015
The purpose of this intelligence forecast is to outline ISW’s assessment of the most likely and most dangerous courses of action for the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) to pursue during Ramadan (June 17, 2015 to July 17, 2015). For the past three years, ISIS has conducted major offensive operations during the Ramadan holy month, accomplishing its major annual campaign objectives. Its predecessor, al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), had historically also elevated violence in Iraq during Ramadan. ISIS is therefore likely preparing a surge of operations to try to achieve important campaign objectives. ISIS can also be expected to commemorate its declaration of a Caliphate on the first full day of Ramadan 2014 by trying to build upon or surpass its declaration of the caliphate last year. ISIS could do so by accomplishing new military objectives, striking religious targets, or announcing a new political milestone. Regardless, ISIS is likely to begin and end Ramadan with attempted spectacular military offensive actions in Iraq and Syria

Headline: Kurds say success of HDP in Turkey’s election brings hope
Turkey faced the prospect of weeks of political turmoil after the ruling AK Party lost its parliamentary majority in weekend polls, dealing a blow to President Tayyip Erdogan’s ambitions to acquire sweeping new powers. Instead of the two-thirds majority he had wanted to change the constitution and create a new presidential republic, the AK Party, while remaining the biggest party, failed even to achieve a simple majority. The outcome augurs weeks of unpredictability as parties vie to form a coalition and possible early elections. The result could also prompt some soul searching in the AKP, Turkey’s dominant political movement for more than a decade, where in recent years religious conservatives, with Erdogan’s support, have gained the ascendancy at the expense of center-right and liberal elements.

Headline: South Sudan rebels say they seized Unity oilfield, govt says in control
South Sudan’s rebels said they had taken control of oilfields in a northern state after fighting government troops, adding their aim was to capture and shut down all the oilfields in the country. A military spokesman meanwhile said the government was in control of the Unity State in the north, but that fighting continued. Forces loyal to President Salva Kiir and rebels allied with former vice president Riek Machar have been fighting for nearly 18 months in the world’s newest state, which seceded from Sudan in 2011. Ceasefires have been agreed but broken. Rebel SPLA-In-Opposition spokesman James Gatdet Dak said in a statement late on Friday that the group’s soldiers had taken control of Unity oilfields. Production in the oilfield stopped after fighting erupted in December 2013. “In response to the government’s ongoing full-scale offensive against our positions, all the oilfields in South Sudan are our targets with the aim to capture and shut down their operations,” he said.

Headline: Four killed, 3 injured in ISIL attack on Libya’s Misrata
Members of the Islamic State (IS) have their sights set on gaining full control of an area known as Libya’s oil crescent, according to residents in the Libyan town which has become IS’s latest conquest. At a meeting with leaders from Harawa, IS militants said they were not interested in the town itself but needed it under their control as part of a planned takeover of the country’s central oil facilities, a senior resident of the town told Middle East Eye. Wary of the strong resistance Harawa had put up against its expansion in the region, IS negotiated an agreement with the tribal elders before entering the town and raising the flag above public buildings on Friday. “In the negotiations IS said that before Ramadan they would enter the oil crescent,” he said, speaking on condition of anonymity. Although locals had previously warned Libya’s rival governing institutions that the militant group was targeting the area for its oil, this was the first time IS had spoken of their plans, he said. IS already has full control over the desert town of Nufaliya, just 50 kilometres from Libya’s largest oil export terminal of Es-Sidra, and controls much of Muammar Qaddafi’s former hometown of Sirte. Now having taken Harawa – strategically positioned between Sirte and Sidra in the centre of Libya’s coastal highway – it has secured a route to the oil crescent.

Islamic State (ISIS) has conquered large parts of Syria and Iraq and set up ‘branches’ as far away as Libya and the Sinai Desert – but now, it has set its sights on Algeria. Months after successfully conquering the Libyan coastal city of Sirte, Algerian authorities say that ISIS has attempted to expand westward to conquer the largely-desert border region between the two countries. On Thursday, the Algerian army raised its alert level to the highest level and has drafted some 50,000 troops to ward off ISIS ahead of an anticipated invasion; authorities cited the Libyan army’s inability to defend its Western borders and Sirte’s downfall. Headline: Al-Qaeda claims 2 Algerian attacks
The North African wing of al-Qaeda has claimed two attacks on Algerian military and security forces in the east of the country that killed at least five people, the U.S.-based SITE jihadi monitoring service said Sunday. Attacks are rarer in Algeria since the end of its civil war with Islamist militants in the 1990s. But al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) is still active, and another splinter group has pledged allegiance to ISIS. SITE said AQIM claimed responsibility on a social media account for a roadside bomb that killed an Algerian army colonel and wounded two others last week, and an attack that killed four members of a local neighborhood watch brigade. The attacks took place near Batna, 500 km (300 miles) east of Algiers. AQIM’s leadership is still believed to be hiding in mountains east of the capital, in an area dubbed the “Triangle of Death” because of Islamist militant activity during the civil war. Caliphate Soldiers, a faction which split from AQIM to pledge alliance to ISIS, is also active.

A series of Saudi-led airstrikes Sunday morning targeted the headquarters of Yemen’s armed forces in the rebel-held capital, killing at least 22 people, security and hospital officials said. The officials said the dead were mostly soldiers and the airstrikes damaged several nearby homes and shook the entire city. Residents said the armed forces’ headquarters was struck by at least three airstrikes. Sunday’s airstrikes come one day after the Houthis fired a Scud missile into Saudi Arabia, a dramatic escalation of the conflict. The attack indicated that despite more than two months of airstrikes the rebels still pose a threat to cities inside Saudi Arabia. The official Saudi Press Agency said two missiles launched from a Patriot missile battery shot down the Scud before dawn near the southwestern city of Khamis Mushait. The agency did not report any casualties in the attack, the first use of a Cold War-era Scud by the rebels since the airstrikes began.

A National Guard soldier and another from the Border Guard force were killed, it said. Two other border guards died in a missile strike on the same area in late May. At least 37 people, most of them armed forces members but also civilians, have been killed in border skirmishes and shelling since March 26 when a Saudi-led coalition began bombing rebels in Yemen. Four soldiers were slain along with “dozens” of Yemenis on Friday when forces loyal to Yemen’s former president attacked the Saudi border districts of Jazan and Najran, the coalition announced earlier. After that hours-long battle, the coalition said it shot down with a Patriot missile the Scud fired by rebels in Yemen.

Wars & Rumors of Wars Matthew 24:6 , Revelation 6:3-4 & Revelation 6:8 “ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Revelation 6:3-4 speaks of the fiery red horse given power to make men slay one another and Revelation 6:8 speaks again of this red horse in conjunction with the pale horse of Death and Hades, as the one that has the power to kill by sword. Prophecy Sign: Weapons of Mass Destruction Zechariah 14:12 “And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.”
Headline: US Officials Consider Nuclear Strikes against Russia
US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter is meeting today at the headquarters of the US European Command in Stuttgart, Germany with two dozen US military commanders and European diplomats to discuss how to escalate their economic and military campaign against Russia. They will assess the impact of current economic sanctions, as well as NATO’s strategy of exploiting the crisis in eastern Ukraine to deploy ever-greater numbers of troops and military equipment to Eastern Europe, threatening Russia with war. A US defense official told Reuters that the main purpose of the meeting was to “assess and strategize on how the United States and key allies should think about heightened tensions with Russia over the past year.” The official also said Carter was open to providing the Ukrainian regime with lethal weapons, a proposal which had been put forward earlier in the year. Most provocatively, a report published by the Associated Press yesterday reports that the Pentagon has been actively considering the use of nuclear missiles against military targets inside Russia, in response to what it alleges are violations of the 1987 Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty. Russia denies US claims that it has violated the INF by flight-testing ground-launched cruise missiles with a prohibited range.

Apostasy & Godlessness Amos 8:11 , 1 Timothy 4:1 , 2 Timothy 3:1-5 & Matthew 24:12 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,” (1 Timothy) “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord.” (Amos) “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” (2nd Timothy) “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew)
Headline: Pissing on the Cross is now entertainment: Netflix series Sense8 is an orgy of imagery attacking Christianity
Netflix has just launched an exclusive new series called “Sense8” written by the Wachowskis. As I’m a Netflix subscriber (or at least I was before this), I thought I’d check out the series because I’m a fan of The Matrix, also written by the Wachowskis. (WARNING: GRAPHIC images to follow…) Sense8 is nothing like The Matrix. It’s an in-your-face assault on the senses and an aggressive pushing of suicide violence, emasculated males and anti-Christian symbolism interwoven with LGBT symbols peppered throughout the episode. I don’t often comment on movies and TV programming, but this series seemed so over-the-top that I decided to ask Natural News readers for your opinions on the show. What do YOU think about the images shown here from Sense8? Is this the “new normal” for America? Is it an assault on Christianity? Is this the pushing of an agenda in your face?

Matthew 24:7 “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” Luke21:25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring”
