Palestine can count on about 12 Yes votes by EU countries when it seeks to upgrade its UN status, in a move expected later this month. EU foreign affairs spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic told EUobserver on Thursday (8 November) that foreign ministers will debate the subject at a regular meeting in Brussels on 19 November. She added that: "The EU maintains that negotiations remain the best way forward to resolve the Middle East peace process." A senior EU diplomat told this website the same day the EU remains divided on the question, however. He noted that member states' votes "will probably follow the same pattern as with Unesco," referring to a decision by the UN's Paris-based cultural wing to admit Palestine as a member last year. At the time, 11 countries – Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Slovenia and Spain- backed the Unesco bid.
What is the first thing that comes to your mind when read the news above? This is what I see.
Over the course of these past few years we have been witnessing nation after nation move away from Israel and take a stand with the PLO. Why is this happening? Well, for those of you who don’t believe in Christ or His warnings concerning His second coming you will probably write this news off as nothing out of the ordinary. However, you couldn’t be more wrong. What you see in the news is a specific last days sign which is warning the true believers to get ready to go home with Christ. In the coming months you will hear and see more news concerning nations coming against Israel. God willing I will be hear to point this news out to you in the hope that the Lord would have removed the blinders off your eyes so that you may see what is coming upon this Earth.
To those who the Lord has given His Wisdom to it’s pretty obvious from the above story what is happening to the European economy. Do you want the kind of Wisdom you need to see these events as warned by Christ? All you have to do is ask. Read what Jesus had James write in James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him. So, back to the question why do we see in Daniel the revived Roman Empire will not hold together. It is clear from (Genesis 12:3) and (Joel 3:2) that anyone who works to divide up Israel will be brought down!
Take a look at the nations in the EU who are taking a stand against Israel and those are the nations who are beginning to fall apart. Daniel may not have told us what would be the cause of the nations not adhering to one another but in this last generation we can see why and it has to do with the nations choosing to go against God’s wishes for His chosen people Israel. Mess with Israel and you will always loose. Ask the Arabs who happens when you try and wipe out Israel? They are still trying to figure out how in the world in 3 major wars when the Arabs had Israel out numbered 10 to 1 that Israel won each of those wars? Hence, the answer is found in Genesis 12:3. Let’s look at 2- Greece and Spain. God is very clear in His Word that He will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who don’t (Genesis 12:3). (Joel 3:2) tells us bluntly He will judge those who have divided up HIS land. Voting to give Palestine UN status is global recognition that Palestine is a country.
We’ve seen over and over the nations of the world push Israel into dividing their God-given country with the Palestinians. If they achieve UN recognition, they will given the ‘global go-ahead’ to force this into being. And what have we been watching since last year? The Euro completely collapse. Spain's sovereign rating is suitable but would likely fall by two notches to "junk" if Fitch Ratings decided on further negative action, its sovereign ratings manager said on Thursday. Headline: Nov. 9, 2012 Brussels demo protests EU spending cuts
Around 1,000 civil servants have held a demonstration in the Belgian capital Brussels to protest against potential plans by the European Union to slash staffing and payment levels, Press TV reports. The demonstrators refused to attend work on Thursday and staged a strike in front of the headquarters of the EU Commission in the city. They expressed concern over the decisions of the upcoming summit of the EU leaders on November 22 and 23 which is planned to set spending restrictions for the bloc’s institutions until 2020.

With Greece (twice), Ireland , Portugal and Spain (its banks) already on the list, Cyprus expects to clinch an EU bailout of up to €15 billion next week. Negotiations on details of the rescue start in Nicosia on Friday (9 November). A "troika" of international lenders – the European Commission, the European Central Bank (ECB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by commission official Maarten Verway – landed in the Cypriot capital on Thursday. A Nicosia-based Cypriot source told EU observer talks are expected to wrap up by Monday at the earliest or by the end of next week at the latest.

The double-whammy of spending cuts and tax hikes set to take effect in January would send the nation into another recession and drive up the jobless rate to 9.1 percent by next fall, congressional budget analysts said. The startling new report by the Congressional Budget Office comes as Capitol Hill leaders and President Obama prepare for a lame-duck session of Congress where the so-called "fiscal cliff" will take center stage. Obama planned Friday to offer a framework for talks, speaking from the East Room of the White House in his first post-reelection address from Washington.
