We know from chapter two of 2nd Timothy that we are to be good Christian soldiers. What do good soldiers do? They obey. And our Commander has instructed us to WATCH (Luke 21:36, Matt. 24:42, Matt. 25:13, Matt. 26:41, Mark 13:33, Mark 13:37, Mark 14:38, Luke 12:37, Acts 20:31, 1 Cor. 16:13, 2 Tim. 4:5)

The World *There Will Be an Attempt to Install a Dictatorship (One world government Dan.7:7, Dan.7:23 & Rev.6:1-2) (10 Horn Unions Dan.7:24) With escalating fears regarding the stability of the eurozone, today King World News interviewed former LBMA commodities broker and trader and current MEP Nigel Farage to get his take on the situation. Farage told KWN he believes there will be an attempt, within months, to install a dictatorship in Europe. Here is what Farage had to say about the deteriorating situation: “Frankly, the whole thing is falling apart. And in the middle of all of this, Mrs Merkel came out and said, ‘The fiscal treaty cannot be renegotiated, and it must hold.’ So, I suppose, for once, we’ve got the Germans providing the humor, because this thing isn’t going to hold.” “I now believe the euro and the whole euro system are now in, by far, the deepest crisis that we’ve seen. We are in totally uncharted, chaotic territory. In some ways the ball is very much on the German side of the court. If they are unable to impose the discipline they thought this new Compact Treaty would give them, then maybe it’s the Germans that say, ‘Right, Greece you’ve got to leave.’ We know once Greece leaves, the dominos start to fall. To say that it’s a total mess is entirely accurate. You cannot have national democracy and this new form of economic and political government. We’ve seen these guys do some terrible things. I mean they’ve gotten rid of elected Prime Ministers in Greece and Italy. But they cannot at the moment, without imposing a total dictatorship, stop general elections from taking place in countries…. What these guys in the EU are going to try to do is, as this crisis gets worse and descends, there will be an attempt at some point in the next few months for them to set up something that will be very like a dictatorship. I’m not sure now, with the public mood, that they will get away with it … the similarities (to the 30s) are really rather chilling.” May 8, 2012 *Moody’s Bank Downgrades Risk Choking European Recovery *Eurozone at risk from anti-austerity revolt (Economic collapse Rev.6:5-6 & James 5:1-3) Moody’s Investors Service will this month start cutting the credit ratings of more than 100 banks, a move that risks pushing up their funding costs and forcing them to curb lending in a threat to economic growth. BNP Paribas SA (BNP), France’s biggest lender, Deutsche Bank AG, Germany’s largest, and New York-based Morgan Stanley are among firms that face having their short- and long-term debt downgraded to their lowest-ever levels by Moody’s, the ratings company said in February. Meanwhile, European Union leaders are to hold an emergency summit as a popular anti-austerity backlash threatens to break the eurozone apart and cause a deep rift between France and Germany.

*China's Gold Imports Advance as Country May Become Biggest User (Economic collapse Ezek.7:19 , Rev.18:14-17 & James 5:1-3) Mainland China's gold imports from Hong Kong surged more than sixfold in the first quarter, adding to signs that the country may displace India as the world's largest consumer of the precious metal on an annual basis. *China warns Philippines on 'mistakes' in maritime spat (Wars & Rumors of Wars Matt.24:6 , Revelation 6:3-4 & Revelation 6:8) China has issued fresh warnings to the Philippines over a month-long stand-off in the South China Sea. China was prepared to respond to ''any escalation'' in the maritime situation, Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying said. She also warned the Philippines it was making ''serious mistakes'' and damaging relations. To assess the situation better, the EPA has requested the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) to investigate the cause and supervise the area. They do not know the reason behind these hundreds of types of dead fish, although there was a red tide twice, which may be the cause of fish kill. Amy's Comment: This is in addition to the massive deaths in Peru (over 1,000 dolphins & 1,500 birds) and the recent fish kill in China (see 5/4 update) May 8, 2012 https://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com/2012/05/08/mysterious-fish-kill-under-investigation-in-kuwait/*Texas one step closer to Real I.D. Act(Mark of the Beast Technology Dan. 12:4 and Rev. 13:16-17)More identification is now required in order to apply for a Texas driver license or identification card, and this new change has brought the state closer to complying with the controversial Real I.D. Act. Under the new law, applicants must prove they are Texas residents and that they have lived at their residence for at least 30 days. Among the forms of identification and proof of residency are current deeds and mortgages, concealed handgun licenses, medical cards, military documents and school transcripts. Other states across the country have implemented this law, as well, and many feel it walks the line of invading privacy. They do not want to provide more information than they have to, which is also an issue with the Real I.D. Act. This act, which has already taken effect in some states, turns driver licenses into national identification cards complete with chips that automatically allow computers to pull up biographic and biometric data.May 8, 2012 http://www.connectamarillo.com/news/story.aspx?id=751162#.T6qjPFLLOSp*'Monster sunspot' may foretell powerful solar flares, says NASA*Two inbound CMEs could spark moderate geomagnetic storms(Signs in Heaven Luke21:25a) An enormous sunspot group has taken shape on the surface of the sun, hinting that our star may soon start spouting off some powerful storms. The huge sunspot complex, known as AR 1476, rotated into Earth's view over the weekend. It measures more than 60,000 miles (100,000 kilometers) across, researchers said. Scientists with NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory mission, a space-based telescope watching the sun, dubbed the solar structure a "monster sunspot" in a Twitter announcement. Sunspots are temporary dark patches on the surface of the sun that are caused by intense magnetic activity. These structures sometimes erupt into solar flares, which send high-energy radiation streaming into space. May 8, 2012
ISRAEL (Zech.12:3 & 9 – The Burdensome Stone)Zechariah 12:3 “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
*It’s Official: Elections September 4- SCRATCH THAT! *Israel forms unity government amid Iran tensions Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called off plans Tuesday for early elections and formed a unity government in a surprise move that could give him a freer hand to confront Iran's nuclear ambitions. The deal, agreed at a secret meeting overnight, means the centrist Kadima party will hook up with Netanyahu's rightist coalition, creating a wide parliamentary majority of 94 legislators in the 120-seat parliament, one of the biggest in Israeli history. *'Netanyahu forming war government' Newspapers across the Arab world could not ignore Israel's political drama and the declaration of a unity government on Tuesday. Benjamin Netanyahu and Shaul Mofaz were described as conniving war mongers and corrupt politicians as editorials declared war was looming. "Netanyahu is forming a war government," al-Quds al-Arabi's headline cried. "No one knows what goes on through the mind of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on many regional issues these days. One can predict that this man is scheming and planning wars after murdering the peace process with the settlement policy in the occupied Arab territories," the London-based paper said.

*Mideast nuclear conference in jeopardy Hopes dimmed Monday for staging major nuclear talks later this year between Israel and its Muslim rivals, as Iran and Arab countries at a 189-nation conference accused Israel of being the greatest threat to peace in the region and Egypt warned that Arab states might rethink their opposition to atomic arms. *Egyptian Cleric Claims Muslim Brotherhood Presidential Candidate Will Make Jerusalem ‘The Capital of the Caliphate’ Egyptian Cleric Safwat Higazi speaking at a campaign rally for Muslim Brotherhood Presidential candidate Mohammed Mursi, spends much of his speech predicting that Mursi will help reform what he calls the “United States of Arabs” – a highly ironic shorthand for what, it gradually becomes clear, is meant to be a second Caliphate. “The capital of the caliphate – the capital of the United States of the Arabs – will be Jerusalem, God willing,” Higazi said. “Our capital shall not be in Cairo, Mecca or Medina,” he said, before leading the crowd in chants of “Millions of martyrs march toward Jerusalem.” May 8, 2012 http://www.memri.org/clip/en/0/0/0/0/0/0/3431.htm http://www.jpost.com/MiddleEast/Article.aspx?id=269074
Nakba Day 2012 (May 15th)
*Red Cross, UN appeal for Palestinian hunger strikers *Abbas: Death of hunger striking prisoner would be 'disaster' The International Committee of the Red Cross called on Israel on Tuesday to transfer six Palestinians who have been on hunger strike for weeks to hospital and allow visits from their families. In a statement, the humanitarian agency said that the six are in “imminent danger of dying”, although it upheld their right to choose whether or not they wanted to receive treatment. The scope of the hunger strike has posed a new challenge to Israel, which has come under international criticism over detention without trial and could face a violent Palestinian backlash if any of the protesters die. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas also warned on Tuesday that the death of any one of the hundreds of Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israel would be a "disaster" and could trigger a backlash that might slip out of control. *Ban demands Palestinians be tried or released UN leader Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday demanded that Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israeli prisons be put on trial or be released, his spokesperson said. Ban wants a solution to a showdown over the prisoners "averting any further deterioration in their condition," said UN spokesperson Martin Nesirky.
The UN secretary general "reiterates that those detained must be charged and face trial with judicial guarantees, or released without delay," the spokesperson added. The shift promises an endgame for the Israeli plot in Palestine, and a possible collective response from the Palestinian people. Every Palestinian uprising in the past — from as far back as the late 1920s to the second Intifada in 2000 — has been sparked by a single event, which was a critical accumulation of numerous prior events that forced Palestinians to act en masse. Such a moment is now approaching. May 9, 2012 http://gulfnews.com/opinions/columnists/prisoners-uphold-palestinian-cause-1.1020142

The Arab Spring in Prophecy (Perilous Times Luke 21:9 & Nation against Nation, Kingdom against Kingdom Matt.24:7) (Revelation 6:3-4 Revelation 6:8) Luke 21:9 and Matthew 24:7 speak of nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom in the end times. Revelation 6:3-4 speaks of the fiery red horse given power to make men slay one another and Revelation 6:8 speaks again of this red horse in conjunction with the pale horse of Death and Hades, as the one that has the power to kill by sword. I like to call this “The Arab Spring in Prophecy” because for us it is easy to identify- that’s what the world calls it. Luke 21:9: wars & commotions; the Greek word here is Akatastasia, meaning instability, a state of disorder, disturbance, confusion (revolutions) Matthew 24:7: the Greek word for nation is Ethnos & refers to various ethnic groups fighting among themselves, where the next sentence in the verse refers to kingdoms (basileiva) fighting one another (not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom)
Countries highlighted in blue (see chart above) are only those listed in the upcoming prophetical wars. I have tried to separate it into areas that sweep EAST from the point of North America.
