Headline: Likud Central Committee Votes To ‘Exercise Sovereignty’ Over Judea and Samaria
The Likud Central Committee voted Sunday night to exercise Israeli sovereignty over Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria. “To mark 50 years to the liberation of Judea and Samaria, including Jerusalem our eternal capital, the Likud Central Committee calls on Likud officials to act so as to enable free construction and to apply Israeli law and sovereignty in all the liberated settlements in Judea and Samaria,” read the resolution passed by the committee. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was a notable absentee from the event held at the Airport City convention center. Knesset speaker Yuli Edelstein told the 1,500 delegates attending the event that United States President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital had “opened a new chapter with regard to how the international community views Israel, Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria.”

Headline:Western Wall Prayers for Rain Answered
Prayers for rain offered up by thousands of Jews at the Western Wall on Thursday had an effect as desperately needed rain fell, raising the level of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) one centimeter. Israel has suffered five dry years in a row, causing the worst drought in 40 years. The country has received just 45 percent of its multiyear average rainfall for September through November, and with only two light rainfalls in December. This dire situation has led to emergency measures, both spiritual and physical. At the behest of Chief Rabbi David Lau three weeks ago, Jews and Christians around the world began adding special prayers for rain. Last Thursday, thousands answered Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel’s call for a special prayer session at the Western Wall. The prayers were led by the chief rabbis of Israel, Rabbi David Lau and Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, along with other prominent rabbis. The prayers were answered quickly. Israel’s Water Authority announced on Monday morning that approximately one inch of rain fell overnight in Israel’s Golan and Upper Galilee regions. As a result of the blessing, the Kinneret’s water level rose .4 inches, bringing it to four and a half feet from the lower red line and eighteen feet from the lake’s maximum capacity. Approximately six inches of snow gathered on Mount Hermon’s upper slopes, and three inches fell on the mountain’s lower slopes.

Headline: IDF retaliates to rocket launched at Eshkol
A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip exploded in open land near a community in the Eshkol Regional Council, catching nearby residents by surprise as no alarm was sounded to warn them ahead of time. Israel Air Force aircrafts attacked a Hamas military compound in the southern Gaza Strip in retaliation. IDF Spokesperson's Unit said the target was attacked since the army considers Hamas solely responsible for any fire emanating from the strip. Fragments of the rocket were found near a paved road. No one was injured and no property was damaged. On Saturday, Israeli jets attacked a Hamas observation post in northern Gaza in response to rockets that were fired Friday morning at Israel during a ceremony held in memory of IDF soldier Oron Shaul, whose body has been held by Hamas in Gaza since Operation Protective Edge.

Headline: New 80-majority Jerusalem bill has loophole enabling city to be divided
A law ostensibly meant to make it harder to cede parts of Jerusalem to a foreign entity – which contains a glaring loophole that allows Jerusalem to be divided – passed its final vote in the Knesset overnight on Monday. The amendment to Basic Law: Jerusalem, requiring a vote of 80 out of the 120 MKs to give parts of the capital away – an absolute two-thirds majority – was proposed by Bayit Yehudi-faction chairwoman Shuli Moalem-Refaeli, with enthusiastic backing from her party leader Education Minister Naftali Bennett. The newly requisite super-majority (more than just over half) comes in addition to the existing law requiring a referendum to give away any sovereign land, which includes Jerusalem. Although concessions in Jerusalem require an 80-MK vote, the bill can be changed with a 61-lawmaker absolute majority (as opposed to merely a majority of those present for the vote). However, the bill also canceled the article in the Basic Law that prohibits changing Jerusalem’s municipal borders, such that the new version creates a loophole by which parts of Jerusalem can be turned into a new municipality, and then ceded to the Palestinians. Such land will still be subject to 80-MK vote and the Referendum Law.

Headline:US warns it won’t fund UN refugee agency if Palestinians reject talks
The US on Tuesday threatened it would cut aid to the UN’s Palestinian refugee agency if Ramallah refused to come to the negotiating table for relaunched peace talks. Speaking with reporters Tuesday at UN headquarters, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley stressed the US remains committed to reaching a peace deal and implied it would cut off aid if the Palestinians refused to engage in peace negotiations. Responding to a reporter’s question on whether the US will continue to provide funding for the UN Relief and Works Agency, which provides aid to millions of Palestinian refugees, in light of a non-binding UN General Assembly resolution condemning the recognition, Haley said Trump was prepared to cut aid to UNRWA if the Palestinians refuse to return to peace talks. “I think the president has basically said that he doesn’t want to give any additional funding until the Palestinians are agreeing to come back to the negotiation table,” Haley said. “We’re trying to move for a peace process but if that doesn’t happen the president is not going to continue to fund that situation.”

Headline: Jordan warns Israel of consequences of Unified Jerusalem vote
Jordanian government spokesman Muhammad al-Momani condemned the "Unified Jerusalem" bill recently passed in the Knesset, saying that Jerusalem is part of the "occupied territories" and must be resolved by negotiation in a final settlement between Israelis and Palestinians. He added: "We are warning Israel of the dangers of its recent actions, including the passing of the above-mentioned bill and the vote by Likud Party members regarding imposing Israeli sovereignty on West Bank settlements."

Headline:US Intelligence Reportedly Gives Israel Green Light To Assassinate Iran's Top General
Anti-government protesters demonstrated in Iran on Sunday in defiance of a warning by the authorities of a tough crackdown, extending for a fourth day one of the most audacious challenges to the clerical leadership since pro-reform unrest in 2009. Police in the center of Tehran fired water cannon to try to disperse demonstrators, according to pictures on social media. Video posted online also showed a clash between protesters and police in the city of Khoramdareh in Zanjan province in the country's northwest. Reuters was unable immediately to verify the authenticity of the footage. There were also reports of demonstrations in the cities of Sanandaj and Kermanshah in western Iran as well as Chabahar in the southeast and Ilam and Izeh in the southwest. Tens of thousands of people have protested across the country since Thursday against the Islamic Republic's unelected clerical elite and Iranian foreign policy in the region. They have also chanted slogans in support of political prisoners. Demonstrators initially vented their anger over economic hardships and alleged corruption but they took on a rare political dimension, with a growing number of people calling on Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to step down.

Headline: Trump plans to halt US aid to Pakistan
US President Donald Trump tweeted Monday: “The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!” DEBKAfile: Trump’s decision came after Pakistan’s information chief Maj. Gen. Headline: Violence, destruction across India after deadly clashes
Violent clashes between Dalit and Maratha groups in India have led to the death of at least one person and injuries to several others, officials said Tuesday. Dalits, also known as "untouchables," are considered the lowest social status group among the Hindu caste system, a classification that divides Hindus in a hierarchy. Maratha are considered by some as champions of Hinduism. Violence erupted in Pune Monday, during the 200th anniversary celebrations of the Bhima-Koregaon, a battle in 1818 in which a British Army comprised of Dalits defeated upper-caste Peshwas, who were leaders of the Maratha groups. Protesters on Tuesday sought action against those responsible for killing a man during the celebrations. On Tuesday, protesters damaged buses and disputed rail traffic as the violence spilled over into the capital city of Mumbai. Shops across the area shut down as violence spread and protesters blocked roadways, authorities said. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis appealed for calm and ordered an inquiry into the death of the demonstrator killed Monday. Fadnavis also offered compensation to the family. To protest against the government's failure to stop the violence, Dalit leader Prakash Ambedkar called a "Maharashtra bandh" for Wednesday, a protest that would shut down government offices and shops across the state.

Headline: Nigerians killed in New Year attack on Rivers church
At least 16 people have been killed by gunmen in southern Nigeria after a New Year's Day church service, police say. The group had attended a midnight service before they were ambushed in the early hours of Monday, police told the BBC. The incident, which happened in the oil-rich region of Rivers state, has been linked to growing tensions between rival gangs, local reports say. The gunmen are said to have fired at random, killing some at close range. The noise of fireworks that greeted the New Year celebrations in Omuku town made it difficult for residents to realise that shots were being fired and people were being killed, reports say.

Headline: U.N. Defies Trump's Threats by Passing Resolution on Jerusalem
The United Nations General Assembly overwhelmingly backed a measure critical of President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel despite U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s warning that the move could put funding for their nations and the global body at risk. The nonbinding UN resolution passed on Thursday by a vote of 128-9, with 35 nations abstaining. Key U.S. allies backing the measure over Trump’s threats included the U.K., France, Italy, Japan and Germany. The U.S. was joined in opposition by countries including Guatemala, Nauru and Micronesia. Abstentions included Australia, Canada and Argentina. “The United States will remember this day when it was singled out for attack in the General Assembly,” Haley said at the U.N. podium ahead of the vote. “We will remember it when so many countries come calling on us, as they often do, to pay even more. This vote will be remembered.” That threat was repudiated by speakers from countries supporting the resolution, which says the status of Jerusalem must be resolved through negotiations. A similar resolution had 14 votes in favor in the 15-member Security Council last week, prompting Haley to exercise the first U.S. veto since 2011.

Headline: Israel strikes 40 Hamas targets over two weeks in response to rocket fire
Headline: Why aren’t Israelis told that Hamas High Command is behind the persistent rocket fire?
Israeli jets struck six Hamas targets in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday night, after rockets were fired into southern Israel earlier in the evening, one of which slightly damaged a home. Israel Air Force planes struck the targets, including a military compound that served as a training site and other terrorist infrastructures, the IDF Spokesman’s Unit said in a statement. “Hamas is exclusively responsible for the situation in the Gaza Strip. The IDF takes the firing of rockets at Israeli communities very seriously and will not allow any harm or attempt to harm the citizens of the State of Israel,” the statement said. Two rockets launched from the Gaza Strip slammed into the community of Netiv Hashayara in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council area, with shrapnel from the impact slightly damaging a home. A second rocket that landed in open territory caused no damage. Sirens sounded again in the Ashkelon Industrial Zone and nearby communities at 2:30 a.m., but the IDF said the rocket fell inside the Hamas-run enclave.

Headline: US vetoes UN resolution against Trump’s Jerusalem decision
Headline: Nikki Haley Slams UN for Resolution Denouncing Trump’s Jerusalem Proclamation
The United States on Monday vetoed a resolution supported by the 14 other U.N. Security Council members that would have required President Donald Trump to rescind his declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, a vote that showed the depth of global opposition to the U.S. move. The United States was certain to veto the Egyptian-sponsored resolution, but its Arab supporters wanted the vote to demonstrate that countries everywhere and even many U.S. allies such as Britain, France and Japan are against Trump’s action. The Palestinians immediately announced that they will seek a resolution with similar demands in the 193-member General Assembly, where there are no vetoes. But unlike the Security Council, the assembly’s resolutions are not legally binding. Palestinian Ambassador Riyad Mansour told reporters after meeting with the General Assembly president that he expects a vote this week. He said he hopes for “overwhelming support” telling the Trump administration that the international community doesn’t accept the U.S. position, which he said violates international law and Security Council and General Assembly resolutions.

Headline: U.N. General Assembly meeting set over U.S. veto of Jerusalem resolution
The U.N. General Assembly will meet in an emergency session this week after the United States vetoed a resolution to reject the Trump administration’s new policy of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. A bloc of Arab nations, Turkey and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation requested the meeting of the entire 193-nation U.N. body. The Palestinian Authority is a non-member observer in the United Nations. On Dec. 6, President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and announced plans to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv. On Monday, the U.N. Security Council voted in favor of the resolution by a vote of 14-1. The United States voted against the measure, one of five permanent members with veto power. No nation, though, can veto resolutions in the General Assembly. Miroslav Lajcak, general assembly president, did not say when the meeting will be held. Riyad Mansour, Palestinian ambassador to the United Nations, said he expected the special session to take place Wednesday or Thursday.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday dispatched delegations to China and Russia in the hopes of finding international partners to “replace” the United States as mediator for the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. Abbas has said he will no longer accept the US as a mediator after US President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on December 6. “The two delegations will convey a message from President Abbas to Russia and China, the purpose of which is to find a new international sponsor for the peace process, in the framework of the United Nations, in order to replace the American sponsorship,” said senior PA official Ahmad Majdalani, according to a report in the official PA news site Wafa.

Headline: Jordan’s Christians throw weight behind King’s pro-Jerusalem push
Headline: Pope and Jordan’s king discuss Jerusalem, Temple Mount
Christian religious and non-clergy figures on Monday hailed and reaffirmed the messages of church leaders conveyed during a meeting attended by His Majesty King Abdullah at the Baptism Site a day earlier. They confirmed that the Christians of Jordan and Palestine, look at the King, the Custodian of Muslim and Christian holy places in Jerusalem, as the protector of these shrines and the rights of Christians in the occupied city and the guarantor of an “unbreakable unity” between Muslims and Christians. The event came amid a campaign led by Jordan to isolate and neutralise any effect of US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and make arrangements to move the US embassy to the occupied city. Speakers stressed their firm stands in support of Jordan’s positions, role and efforts to defend the holy city and safeguard its status quo in the face of unilateral decisions to alter the character of the city. Christian religious figures in Jordan echoed the same messages.

Headline: Saudis intercept Yemen rebel missile targeting royal palace
The Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen’s Shiite rebels said it intercepted a missile fired over southern Riyadh on Tuesday, while the rebels said they targeted the royal palace in the kingdom’s capital. It was the second time in as many months that a rebel projectile had reached as far inside the kingdom as Riyadh. The Yemeni rebels said they launched a ballistic missile to target Yamama Palace in Riyadh, where King Salman chairs weekly government meetings and receives dignitaries and heads of state from around the world. The coalition statement, carried by Saudi state TV, said the missile was fired by the rebels known as Houthis. State TV said no damage was caused by the intercepted missile. Residents of Riyadh posted videos on social media showing a small cloud of smoke in the sky after hearing a loud explosion over their homes and while driving. In Yemen, Houthi spokesman Mohammed Abdul-Salam said the group targeted the Yamama Palace. He tweeted that a ballistic “Volcano H-2” missile was used in the attack.

Headline: Protests rock Iraqi Kurdistan for second day
Headline: Kurdish protesters set fire to party offices in northern Iraq
Protesters in Iraqi Kurdistan torched a mayor’s office and stormed a ruling party building on Tuesday as anger raged for a second day over the disastrous fallout from an independence vote. The September referendum delivered a resounding “yes” for independence but drew sweeping reprisals from Baghdad, which dealt a heavy blow to the autonomous region’s already flagging economy.
In its second largest city Sulaimaniyah, security forces fired in the air to disperse demonstrators marching on the central Saray Square, an AFP correspondent reported. Roadblocks sprang up across the city on major roads and around the offices of the main political parties. Protests were also held in the Sulaimaniyah province towns of Rania and Kifri, and in Halabja and Koysinjaq in neighboring Irbil province. In Koysinjaq, demonstrators set fire to the mayor’s office, while in Kifri hundreds stormed the offices of Barzani’s Kurdistan Democratic Party after pelting the building with stones, witnesses said.

Turkey’s president is calling on nations to back a non-binding resolution that is expected to be brought to the U.N. Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the appeal Tuesday during a joint news conference with Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh, a day after the U.S. vetoed such a resolution in the U.N. Security Council. Fourteen other members of the Security Council supported the resolution — a move Erdogan described as “important and meaningful.” The Turkish leader said: “I invite all U.N. member countries to defend Jerusalem’s historic status (in the 193-member General Assembly).” Erdogan has been among the most vocal critics of Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem.

Headline: Islamic State threatens US attacks over Jerusalem decision
Islamic State threatened attacks on US soil in retaliation for the Trump administration’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, one of the group’s social media accounts reported on Thursday without giving any details. In a message on one of its accounts on the Telegram instant messaging service titled “Wait for us” and “ISIS in Manhattan,” the group said it would carry out operations and showed images of New York’s Times Square and what appeared to be an explosive bomb belt and detonator. “We will do more ops in your land, until the final hour and we will burn you with the flames of war which you started in Iraq, Yemen, Libya and Syria and Afghan. Headline: IDF strikes Hamas targets in Gaza Strip in response to rocket fire
The IDF struck Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip in response to earlier rocket fire fired from the enclave, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed. The IDF said the targets were training sites and weapons storage units. Earlier tonight, three rockets were fired into Israeli territory, as two rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome over the city of Sderot and a third fell in open territory in Eshkol Regional Council, causing no damage or injuries. This was the sixth night in a row with rockets fired at Israel. The IDF confirmed earlier that one of the rockets fired from Gaza landed inside the Strip and hit a school there. “The State of Israel an attack, or attempted attack, on its citizens and will continue to defend them and its sovereignty sharply and decisively,” the IDF statement read. “The terrorist organization Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, leads the people of Gaza into a life of poverty, destruction and despair, and bears responsibility for the situation.”

Headline: Hamas will reverse Trump’s Jerusalem move, leader tells Gaza rally
Tens of thousands of Palestinians including hundreds of gunmen rallied in Gaza on Thursday to mark the 30th anniversary of Hamas’s founding and its chief vowed to reverse U.S. President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Earlier in the day, Israel shut its border crossings with Gaza in response to daily rocket fire from the Hamas-ruled enclave since Trump’s announcement on Dec. 6, which stirred anger across the Arab and Muslim world and concern among Washington’s European allies as well as Russia. “We will knock down Trump’s decision. No superpower is capable of offering Jerusalem to Israel, there is no Israel that it should have a capital named Jerusalem. Our souls, our blood, our sons and our homes are a sacrifice for Jerusalem,” Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh told the rally in Gaza City. With gunmen from other Palestinian militant groups showing support for Hamas, Haniyeh added, “We are marching towards Jerusalem, sacrificing millions of martyrs along the way,” and the crowd repeated his chants.

Headline: Yemen war: Air strikes on rebel prison in Sanaa ‘kill 30’
At least 30 people are reported to have been killed in Saudi-led coalition air strikes on a rebel military police camp in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa. Most of the dead were said to be detainees at a prison inside the camp. A guard said an initial attack damaged one wing of the jail, prompting some inmates to try to escape. Then another strike almost demolished the building. The raid on the camp in eastern Sanaa began in the early hours of Tuesday. One of the guards at the camp’s prison, Mohammed al-Aqel, told AFP news agency that it was hit at least five times, and that several buildings and a perimeter wall were heavily damaged. An official told Reuters news agency that about 180 people were being detained at the jail, and that 35 bodies had so far been pulled from the rubble.

Headline: US-backed Syria fighters kill 20-plus IS fighters
The US military says American-supported Syria opposition fighters killed more than 20 Islamic State fighters in an area near the Jordanian and Iraqi borders. A US officer, Brig. Gen. Jonathan Braga, said the IS fighters had slipped through an area controlled by Syrian regime forces. The Syrian government has fought against IS, but Braga said this is the second time in recent weeks that IS fighters fleeing a contested area further north have moved freely through Syrian-controlled territory. A coalition press release said that in addition to the 20-plus IS fighters killed on Wednesday by a US supported Syrian opposition force, an unspecified number were captured. A US official said the detainees numbered about 15. The official was not authorized to provide details and so spoke on condition of anonymity.

Headline: Turkey, Lebanon eye embassies to Palestine in East Jerusalem
The Turkish and Lebanese foreign ministers announced in statements on Thursday their respective governments’ intentions to open embassies for the Palestinians in East Jerusalem. Their statements came against the backdrop of US President Donald Trump’s recognition of the city as Israel’s capital, which has drawn sharp criticism from Muslim countries. Turkey’s top diplomat, Mevlut Cavusoglu, specified that Ankara only plans to make the move once the world recognizes an independent Palestinian state. He said there was “serious determination” among countries that have not yet recognized Palestine to do so. “Once we succeed, embassies will open in the independent Palestinian state’s capital, East Jerusalem,” he asserted. Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil said he had informed Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas of Beirut’s willingness to establish a Lebanese embassy in East Jerusalem.

Headline: US Presents ‘Undeniable’ Evidence Iran Illegally Arming Yemen Rebels
A senior U.S. official said Thursday that Washington has “undeniable” evidence that Iran is illegally supplying weapons to rebels in Yemen as part of a “pattern” of bad behavior in the region. “In this warehouse is concrete evidence of illegal Iranian weapons proliferation, gathered from direct military attacks on our partners in the region,” U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told a news conference at a military base in Washington. Haley made her presentation standing in front of large pieces of debris she said were from a short-range missile recently fired by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels based in Yemen into Saudi Arabia that struck a civilian airport. She said the U.S. would invite Congress and members of the U.N. Security Council to inspect the debris.

Headline: Russia Sharply Expanding Nuclear Arsenal, Upgrading Underground Facilities
Russia is aggressively building up its nuclear forces and is expected to deploy a total force of 8,000 warheads by 2026 along with modernizing deep underground bunkers, according to Pentagon officials. The 8,000 warheads will include both large strategic warheads and thousands of new low-yield and very low-yield warheads to circumvent arms treaty limits and support Moscow’s new doctrine of using nuclear arms early in any conflict. In addition to expanding its warheads, Russia also is fortifying underground facilities for command and control during a nuclear conflict. One official said the alarming expansion indicates Russia is preparing to break out of current nuclear forces constraints under arms treaties, including the 2010 New START and 1987 Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaties.

Headline: N. Korea: Trump taking dangerous step to nuclear war by seeking naval blockade
US President Donald Trump is taking an “extremely dangerous” and “big step” towards nuclear war by seeking a naval blockade, North Korea has stated, according to the official KCNA news agency. Pyonyang also said it will take “merciless self-defensive” measures against any blockade, as it would consider such a move an “act of war.” The North Korean government also believes any blockade would be a “wanton violation” of its sovereignty and dignity, KCNA reported, citing a foreign ministry spokesman. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson previously mentioned the “right to interdict maritime traffic transporting goods” to and from the North, following Pyongyang’s latest intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) test on November 29. Pyongyang also lashed out at the possible US move in a commentary on Sunday in the communist party newspaper Rodong Sinmun. Earlier on Thursday, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin warned that North Korea now finds itself in a position where it “doesn’t see any other way for self-protection rather than developing weapons of mass destruction and missile technologies.” Having reiterated that Moscow in no way supports Pyongyang’s nuclear program, the Russian leader stressed that the Kremlin calls for steps by all sides towards a peaceful solution.

As you can see from the time I took off my lap top at 12:00 AM, it is now December 13, 2017 the day after Lauren’s rapture was suppose to take place. For more information on this false prophecy you can read my November 27th post at this site. For now let us all pray for Lauren as she is going to need it as she now has to face Christ for what she has done. Let us remember if there is true repentance Jesus will forgive. My ministry is not here to try and drag someone down. It is here to try and keep people in sound doctrine and when they leave it, I point the false doctrine out in the hope the person will come back to sound teaching. I am sure Lauren felt what she was doing was going to happen but she missed the target because she was lead down the wrong road. Lauren go to Christ and come back with us to the sound doctrine Christ talked about.

Headline: Al-Qaida Seeks to Capitalize on Muslim Anger Over Jerusalem
Al-Qaida is seeking to to exploit Muslim anger over President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and to present itself as the true defender of Islam and the Palestinians. The jihadist group posted Saturday a 17-minute audio message from Osama bin Laden son’s, Hamza, in which he lambasts Saudi Arabia’s royal family, accusing the House of Saud of betraying the cause of Palestine. Analysts suspect the audio message was recorded by Hamza, who’s been dubbed by the media the ‘Crown Prince of Terror,” before Trump’s midweek announcement, in which the U.S. leader said his administration would start the process of moving the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. His message — the third in a series of three inciting violence against the Saudi establishment — makes no mention of Trump’s decision, but the timing of its release appears to be a bid to capitalize on it, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute, a U.S. research group that monitors jihadist online activity.

Headline: Fragile situation in Gaza can rapidly deteriorate into war
The rocket fired at Ashkelon Monday night was fired by insurgent Salafist forces who were trying, according to the IDF, to drag Hamas into a conflict with Israel. Rocket fire has become more frequent, a few times a week, and was not aimed at empty fields but rather at population centers such as Ashkelon and Sderot. Even if Hamas was not directly responsible for the launches, it was not doing much to stop them. Ten rockets have been launched at Israel from Gaza in the past week alone. Most are related to the tense aftermath of President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Two were intercepted, and two fell in open land causing no injuries. Monday night’s incident is unique in that the city of Ashkelon was targeted and sirens were heard in communities even further north. Hamas is characteristically trying to have its cake and eat it too: Inflaming the West Bank while keeping Gaza calm; allowing rockets to be fired, but not firing them themselves; keeping the fire steady, but ensuring the situation doesn’t deteriorate too much; convincing Egyptian intelligence that it is preventing rocket launches while giving the green light to insurgents and not doing much to apprehend them; allowing demonstrations near the border with Israel but ensuring they do not get out of control.

Jerusalem, revered by Jews, Christians and Muslims alike, is home to Islam’s third holiest site and has been at the heart of Israeli-Palestinian conflict for decades.

Headline:Gov’t fighters capture coastal area in Yemen
A Western-backed Saudi-led coalition scored its first major gains in Yemen since former President Ali Abdullah Saleh was killed on Monday when local fighters captured an area on the Red Sea coast
from Houthi rebels, residents said on Thursday. Local fighters loyal to Saleh, who was killed by the Iran-aligned Houthis after switching sides in the civil war, captured Al Khoukha district about
350km south-west of the capital Sanaa after heavy fighting over Wednesday night which also involved coalition forces. Houthi forces control Sanaa and much of the rest of the impoverished country,
where three years of war has killed more than 10,000 people and brought it to the verge of famine. Saleh had helped the Houthis win control of Sanaa and much of the north, and his decision to
abandon them had major implications on the battlefield. The Houthis crushed a pro-Saleh uprising in the capital and shot him dead in an attack on his convoy on December 4. The US and UK-backed
Saudi-led coalition has stepped up air strikes on Yemen since then as Houthi forces have tightened their grip on the capital. Residents said Saleh’s killing spurred opposition to the Houthis and fighters
known as the Southern Resistance, together with other local militia and backed by coalition advisers from the United Arab Emirates, launched attacks on Al Khoukha on Wednesday.

Please take a look at what I wrote you yesterday concerning President Trump moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and what to look for if he does. Then see what was reported today the day after what I wrote you. Either the news agencies read what I posted or, they see the same things coming as I do. I will let you determine.
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” (Zechariah 12)
In my post yesterday I gave you a lot of news concerning the troubles brewing around the world concerning the city of Jerusalem. When you read the news headline below you will see that President Trump is going to make a speech about moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. The question is what is Trump going to do? Is he brave enough to really come out and tell the world he doesn't care what every other leader thinks about what he does and, informs everyone that he is going ahead with the move? Or was the information leaked about the move just a test to see how the world would react to such an announcement? When Donald Trump was elected many people who read the Bible said Trump is like Cyrus the king for the Jews. Who is Cyrus?
Cyrus is a king mentioned more than 30 times in the Bible and is identified as Cyrus the Great (also Cyrus II or Cyrus the Elder) who reigned over Persia between 539—530 BC. This pagan king is important in Jewish history because it was under his rule that Jews were first allowed to return to Israel after 70 years of captivity.
In one of the most amazing prophecies of the Bible, Isaiah predicts Cyrus’ decree to free the Jews. One hundred fifty years before Cyrus lived, the prophet calls him by name and gives details of Cyrus’ benevolence to the Jews: “This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him . . . ‘I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honor, though you do not acknowledge me’” (Isaiah 45:1, 4; see also 41:2-25; 42:6). Evincing His sovereignty over all nations, God says of Cyrus, “He is my shepherd and will accomplish all that I please” (Isaiah 44:28).
Cyrus’s decree releasing the Jewish people, in fulfillment of prophecy, is recorded in 2 Chronicles 36:22–23: “Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing: ‘Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, “The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever is among you of all his people, may the LORD his God be with him. Let him go up.”’” Other Old Testament books that mention Cyrus include Ezra and Daniel.
King Cyrus actively assisted the Jews in rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem under Ezra and Zerubbabel. Cyrus restored the temple treasures to Jerusalem and allowed building expenses to be paid from the royal treasury (Ezra 1:4–11; 6:4–5). Cyrus’s beneficence helped to restart the temple worship practices that had languished during the 70 years of the Jews’ captivity. Some commentators point to Cyrus’s decree to rebuild Jerusalem as the official beginning of Judaism.
If Donald Trump is like King Cyrus and is being used by God than we can expect President Trump to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. Who knows maybe like King Cyrus Trump will also help push for the Jews to rebuild their Jewish Temple that was destroyed in 70 AD. I do know this for sure, both Daniel the prophet and Jesus the Messiah showed us in the last days the Jews were going to rebuild their Temple and start their animal sacrifices again. I think if Trump does go ahead with moving the embassy to Jerusalem it just may be the first step in a set of prophecies that have not yet been fulfilled. Time will tell. In any case an embassy move would for sure turn many nations against Israel and help fulfill the Zechariah prophecy.
Now that you heard what President Trump said I want to focus on yet another prophecy which Jesus gave us. This next prophecy is connected to these current events. Scroll down and take a look at what the prophecy says about the call for Peace and safety. Notice starting at the 8:12 minute mark in Trumps speak he says the exact same thing as warned by Christ. This is another strong sign we are that generation Christ talked about and we are coming very close to His return.

I Thessalonians 5:3,4: “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”

President Donald Trump’s epic proclamation on Wednesday acknowledging Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the Jewish people was a major step towards establishing the Third Temple and bringing the Messianic era, said a number of Jewish activists working to rebuild the Holy Temple.
“What he did last night was an enormous step in bringing the Temple,” Asaf Fried, official spokesman for the United Temple Movement, an association of organizations working towards making the Third Temple a reality, told Breaking Israel News.
He added, “This necessarily had to come from a non-Jew in order to bring them into the process, so they will be able to take their part in the Temple.”
Fried compared Trump’s role to that of Cyrus, the Persian King who ended the Babylonian exile and helped build the Second Jewish Temple. Fried cited Proverbs to emphasize this point.

Current events are getting very interesting to say the least! Knowing that the Psalm 83 from the Old Testament maybe a prophecy of a future war and seeing that things are lining us exactly as seen in that Psalm one has to wonder when a major war will begin? Will a victory by Israel again as in all the previous wars lead to Israel feeling safe enough to remove those bars, gates, and walls as seen in Ezekiel 38? To view a picture of some of Israel's bars, gates, and walls go to my post dated December 6, 2017.
Concerning the fact that Russia will be attacking Israel along with the Islamic nations listed in the Ezekiel 38 war you should be paying attention to what this nation does. For that matter pay attention to all the nations listed in that Ezekiel war especially Iran.

"As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of man, They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all (Luke 17:26-27)."Homosexuality was running it's course during Noah generation so in order for our generation to be as Noah's we would have to see the same things which we are. Nation one by one are giving the okay to same sex marriage and todays news shows Australia has join the other nations in approveing same sex marriage. Does this mean in any way that people should hate those are engaged in these same sex marriages. No! Jesus loves all people and wishes that all people would follow Him. All a person can do, especially if they are Christians is love them and pray for them so they will see and believe what Jesus teaches about the last day generation turning just like Noah's. Each one of us will face Jesus Christ face to face at the judgement seat. It will be a sad day for anyone who refused Jesus call to salvation.

"Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in you and that your Word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life. I know that without you in my heart my life is meaningless and I am without hope. I believe in my heart that you, Lord God, raised Him from the dead. Please, Jesus, forgive me, for every sin I have ever committed or done in my heart. Please, Lord Jesus, forgive me and come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. I need you to be my Father and my friend. I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on; I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ." I thank you for adding my name into your Book of Life. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
