Six dead after gunmen open fire on Christian funeral in Jordan

Two gunmen opened fire on a Christian funeral in Jordan, killing six and wounding 28 more Friday, a Jordanian government spokesperson said.
The gunmen, who have yet to be identified, reportedly arrived in a car and shot at funeralgoers for minutes before fleeing in the car.
Government spokesperson Mohammad al-Momani called the attack “heinous” and said security forces had been deployed to the scene.
The attack took place in the Karak governorate in central Jordan, which holds a sizable Christianpopulation
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Authorities have said the incident is under investigation.
