LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) — A top Chinese central bank official suggested switching away from the U.S. dollar as a benchmark for the yuan's foreign-exchange rate, switching instead to a basket of currencies, according to remarks published Thursday.

In comments posted to the People's Bank of China Web site, the central bank's Deputy Gov. Hu Xiaolian said using a basket of currencies from the nation's top trading partners would allow the Chinese yuan to better reflect trading fundamentals.

"Compared with pegging to a single currency, the exchange-rate regime with reference to a basket of currencies will help adjust exports and imports, current account, and balance of payment in a more effective manner," she said.

Under department rules, veterans can be denied pain medications if they are found to be using illegal drugs. Until now, the department had no written exception for medical marijuana.

This has led many patients to distrust their doctors, veterans say. With doctors and patients pressing the veterans department for formal guidance, agency officials began drafting a policy last fall.

“When states start legalizing marijuana we are put in a bit of a unique position because as a federal agency, we are beholden to federal law,” said Dr. Robert Jesse, the principal deputy under secretary for health in the veterans department.

At the same time, Dr. Jesse said, “We didn’t want patients who were legally using marijuana to be administratively denied access to pain management programs.”

The new, written policy applies only to veterans using medical marijuana in states where it is legal. Doctors may still modify a veteran’s treatment plan if the veteran is using marijuana, or decide not to prescribe pain medicine altogether if there is a risk of a drug interaction. But that decision will be made on a case-by-case basis, not as blanket policy, Dr. Jesse said.

Dengue fever has infected a handful of people in Central Florida, health officials said.

“This is not a regular flu virus that you get, you feel a lot worse,” said Dr. Todd Husty.

“You get a real great fever, a horrible fever; it's called ‘break bone fever.’ You feel like your bones are breaking, but it's really joint pain,” Husty said.

Health officials said more than a dozen people have picked up the virus from Mosquitoes in the Keys.

More than 30 more across the state of Florida have the fever after picking it up out of the country.

5.6-magnitude quake hits Taiwan

The following statement from this article is key, "Abbas' appeal to Obama came amid widespread media reports that the U.S. president was considering floating a proposal that would set the contours of a final peace deal."  This is where we need to read between the lines a little bit but before I do that let me make another statement first.

Whatever peace agreement is "agreed" to (imposed???) is going to come from no one other than Obama (goodbye United States) but won't be ratified or confirmed until the Antichrist puts his stamp of approval or signature on it which we already know he is going to do.   This is a really big deal and Obama hasn't a CLUE what he is about to do!  Now let's read between the lines.  According to the scriptures, the Israelis are going to finally be allowed to build their Temple on the Temple Mount which means that this peace agreement that is going to be presented is also going to include a bold sacrifice on the Palestinians part which will be that they will have to share the Temple Mount with Israel.  We know this is going to happen because it says so in Rev 11:1-2.  “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.”

According to Ezekiel a building that belongs to the Gentiles will be sitting right next to the rebuilt Temple.  If you go through the information on this page you will learn that the Dome of the Rock does not have to be removed for this to take place.  If the Antichrist were to say tomorrow that they can go ahead and build their Jewish Temple then they could start tomorrow.  I think this is a very good possibility.

What does all this information tell us?  We need to keep a close eye on the events taking place in Jerusalem.  We need to keep a close look at what is happening with the stalled peace talks, and we need to keep a close look at how the nations in the Ezekiel war are lining up. Major events are about to happen and I don’t want anything to come to you as a surprise.  Jerusalem is the key to the events that are about to unfold before us.

Once again I want to keep you up-to-date on Silvio Berlusconi. We are seeing him jump into the mix again concerning the Middle East peace talks. Read the news report about this below then read why I am keeping my eye on him.

Remember that I said God told Daniel that the Antichrist would subdue three of the ten kings when he had risen to power in the last days. You noticed I also mentioned Silvio Berlusconi’s name before as one man in the EU who hates the gang of three. You will understand the importance of this, but first let me show you what the Word of God says about the Antichrist. Do you want to know who the Antichrist is? Just keep you eyes on the news and follow the Word of God. When you hear or see a man sign a seven year peace agreement with Israel, that is the man God said would be the man of sin, or Antichrist. I cover this subject in detail in Chapter 9. Jesus gave us signs of what the Antichrist would be like.. In 2 Thessalonians 2:4 it states, "He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God" (NIV).  We know from Revelation chapter 17 that the false church will sit on the beast (Antichrist) in Rome. This means that the Antichrist will come from Rome, which is in Italy. Daniel saw all the kingdoms from his time all the way to the last kingdom, which he warned would be the reborn Roman Empire. The European Union is that reborn Roman Empire, and Italy has been a major player in the EU since it started. One of the major signs of the end times is the rebirth of the Roman Empire so watching the signs concerning the political climate within the EU should be taken with special interest. Right now you should pay special attention to Silvio Berlusconi, and you will see why. In April of 2008 Berlusconi was reelected as the Prime Minister of Italy. Why is this so important?  Jesus said when the man of sin (Antichrist) comes, he would exalt himself. Let me give you some quotes Berlusconi has stated about himself. Here they are:  1. "I am the Jesus Christ of Politics. I am a patient victim, I put up with everyone, I sacrifice myself for everyone.” 2. “The best political leader in Europe and in the world…” 3. “There is no-one on the world stage who can compete with me" (BBC News May 2, 2006). 4. In the Guardian report Jan. 18, 2004, they reported that Berlusconi calls himself 'monarchist' which means (he being the king). Now let me ask you a question. Does this sound like the warning Jesus gave us about the personality of the Antichrist?  You bet it does, but there is more.  “All hail Berlusconi” is the title to a report on Berlusconi by the Guardian news. A writer for the Guardian news profiles Berlusconi like this, "Silvio Berlusconi, a Roman emperor for the 21st century” and the writer informs us that Berlusconi describes “himself as ‘the anointed one’ from time to time” (Ibid). As of June 2009, Berlusconi is still exalting himself. I quote from a Reuters report, “Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who has compared himself to Jesus Christ and Napoleon, boasted on Friday that he was the world's most popular leader.” Berlusconi said, ‘The opinion polls I know say that he (Obama) is at 59 percent. Only (Brazilian President Luiz Inacio) Lula tops 60 percent — he is at 64 percent. So mine is a record high,’ he told reporters in Naples where he attended a May Day concert” (May 1, 2009). “Italy's first lady, Veronica Lario, said Sunday she has hired an attorney to begin divorce proceedings against Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, citing his flirtations with other women. ‘I was forced to take this step,’ Lario, a former actress told an Italian newspaper.” For years Berlusconi’s wife has put up with his relationships with other women until the news broke that Silvio had been seeing an 18 year old. “Reports of Silvio Berlusconi attending an 18-year-old woman's birthday party proved too much for the missus, and the BBC says Veronica Lario will file for divorce from the faux pas-ridden Italian PM. ‘That's enough,’ Lario said in Italian reports. ‘I cannot remain with a man who consorts with minors.’ She has previously slammed his flirtatious ways, and he publicly apologized to her 2 years ago” (Ibid). I find this very interesting because Daniel 11:37 tells us the Antichrist will have no regard for women. He will treat women with no respect, and he won’t care whether he hurts them or not. Like I said, everything Berlusconi is doing is running parallel with all of the Antichrist Scriptures.

In the book of Daniel 11:36 God told Daniel what the man of sin would be like. “And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished”. The BBC on July 8, 2008 wrote about Berlusconi and was describing him. I quote, “It refers to the Italian prime minister as a man “hated by many but respected by all at least for his bella figura (person style) and the sheer force of his will”. This is the exact way God described the Antichrist to Daniel. Daniel 11:36 also says he would prosper till his end. Berlusconi has been prospering for some time. He is one of the richest people in the world. The BBC News May 3, 2009 stated, “The Italian prime ministers’s private fortune is estimated by Forbes magazine at $ 6.5 bn”. Look who Macleans Magizine out of Canada chose to put on their front cover of their August issue? The front cover reads, “Silvio Berlusconi The Most Interesting Man In The World”. The cover also says, “Italy’s prime minister has wealth, power, women and no end of scandals” (Aug. 17, 2009). As you can see, the cover of Macleans points out the very things God warned us about the Antichrist in Daniel chapter 11.

It will get very interesting if Berlusconi take a lead role in the talks again.  He has a good relationship with the PLO and Israel.  I said this before and I will repeat it now.  Any time someone stars to fulfill the signs written about the Antichrist that is when my red flag goes up.  Keep in mind, Berlusconi is from Italy which is part of the revived Western part of the old Roman Empire.  Daniel warns the Antichrist will come from a revived Roman Empire. This is getting pretty interesting.  I am also keeping my eyes on the Eastern leg of the old Roman Empire because the man of sin could also rise quickly form this leg if it turns out Berlusconi drops away from the peace talks.

Prophecy Sign: Luke 21:11 Jesus warns us to keep on the watch for “great earthquakes”. In many of my previous posts I have warned you huge quakes would begin to strike. These current quakes hitting 6.8 to 7.1 are the forerunner to the great quakes Jesus talked about.  Because Jesus told us these signs would happen as a women in birth pains I am warning you the bigger quakes can not be far off. Read Mark 13:8.

After you read the report below take a look at all the earthquakes that have hit in the past week. Notice how many major earthquakes have hit! This week alone there were 11 major earthquakes.  I have prayed about the coming quakes and based on what the Lord has shown me in His word I have taken action to get ready for the major quake that is going to hit California. As for me, I got earthquake earthquake insurance, but to tell you the truth, I am not sure the insurance companies will be able to help when this major quake hits the West Coast! The real insurance is to go before the Lord. I am asking my Lord to protect my home. If you live in California and are a child of Jesus Christ, I suggest you pray and fast, and ask Jesus to keep your home from shaking when it hits. What a message Jesus would send to an unbelieving world when they see the Christian homes have a solid foundation not shaken from world events.  Is this possible?  Nothing is impossible with the Lord.

3 earthquakes hit southern Philippines, but too deep to cause any damage or tsunami

 Three major undersea earthquakes struck the southern Philippines within minutes of each other early Saturday, but the temblors were too deep to cause any damage.

A magnitude 6.8 tremor shook the Moro Gulf off the island of Mindanao at 6:08 a.m. (2208 GMT Friday). It was centered about 60 miles (95 kilometers) southwest of Cotabato city at a depth of 380 miles (607 kilometers), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.

A stronger 7.1 magnitude quake hit the same general location at roughly the same depth at 6:51 a.m. (2251 GMT Friday), followed at 7:15 a.m. (2315 GMT Friday) by a third, also of the same magnitude, the institute said.

I think this is the real reason for the moratorium on stopping deep oil drilling in the Gulf.  As this oil and gas continues to pour into the Gulf from the real source of the oil leak then the air will become even more toxic than it really is.  I think this is why they want everybody out of the Gulf waters.  It does seem awful suspicious that after all that oil just gushed out of that pipe for the last 3 months that BP puts a cap on it and all of a sudden things are back to normal except for the cleanup.  I think it's clear that they want the focus to be on the cap they just put on instead of where the main source of the leak is really located.

Arizona school children are told they can't pray in front of the Supreme Court building … Two University of Texas Arlington employees are fired for praying over a co-worker's cubicle after work hours … In Cranston, R.I., a high school banner causes controversy when a parent complains it contains a prayer and demands that it be removed.

There are more legal challenges to prayer in the United States than ever before, says Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-founder of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, an atheist organization whose business is booming as Americans increasingly tackle church vs. state issues.

"We've never had more complaints about government prayer," Gaylor says. "We have just hired a second staff attorney in July. It's turned into a cottage industry for our attorneys."

The foundation has had a huge volume of complaints about prayer in the public sector, including numerous issues involving civic and government meetings where sessions have traditionally begun with a prayer or moment of silence.

In Augusta, Ga., the city's law department just issued a legal opinion defending the city's practice of a pre-meeting prayer, saying it does not violate federal law. The statement was in response to the Freedom From Religion Foundation's letter to the mayor's office urging him to stop the invocations at the start of meetings. The foundation sent similar letters to three cities in South Carolina.

After reading this report one could ask, is this still the good old United States of America the land of the free?  Satan is turning what once was a land centered on Christ into a land that looks more like Sodom and Gomorrah.

“Wal-Mart Stores Inc. plans to roll out sophisticated electronic ID tags to track individual pairs of jeans and underwear, the first step in a system that advocates say better controls inventory but some critics say raises privacy concerns. Starting next month, the retailer will place removable "smart tags" on individual garments that can be read by a hand-held scanner. Wal-Mart workers will be able to quickly learn, for instance, which size of Wrangler jeans is missing, with the aim of ensuring shelves are optimally stocked and inventory tightly watched. If successful, the radio-frequency ID tags will be rolled out on other products at Wal-Mart's more than 3,750 U.S. stores.”

While the tags can be removed from clothing and packages, they can't be turned off, and they are trackable. Some privacy advocates hypothesize that unscrupulous marketers or criminals will be able to drive by consumers' homes and scan their garbage to discover what they have recently bought.

They also worry that retailers will be able to scan customers who carry new types of personal ID cards as they walk through a store, without their knowledge. Several states, including Washington and New York, have begun issuing enhanced driver's licenses that contain radio- frequency tags with unique ID numbers, to make border crossings easier for frequent travelers. Some privacy advocates contend that retailers could theoretically scan people with such licenses as they make purchases, combine the info with their credit card data, and then know the person's identity the next time they stepped into the store.”

 Has search and advertising giant Google been tracking you just to sell you stuff — or is it because the U.S. government asked it to? A congressional hearing Thursday may have raised more questions than answers.

Since May, Google has been in hot water worldwide over the information it collected during its street-mapping projects. European regulators have been pressing the company since it was revealed that Google collected information from Wi-Fi networks as its street-view vans cruised neighborhoods around the globe. The information Google gathered included e-mail fragments and passwords, alarming politicians and privacy and security advocates in Germany, France, and Spain.

Recently, the Washington Post noted as part of a two-year investigation into America's intelligence community that Google supplies special mapping and search products to the U.S. military and intelligence community, with some Google employees enjoying top secret clearance to work with the government. That news has consumer advocates and politicians asking exactly what information Google has collected — and why.”

“Still, there has been pressure from state governments. A group of 38 state attorneys general led by Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal has asked Google for detailed information on what it gathered, how the software was tested (if it was inadvertent), and who at the company was responsible for the Wi-Fi spying. The state AGs have also asked the Energy and Commerce Committee to hold hearings on the issue and said they could take legal action if it doesn't get answers.”

The words “magic arts” in Revelation 9:21 is the Greek word pharmakia from which comes our word “pharmacy”. It signifies the use of medicine, drugs, spells, such as those used in witchcraft and those used today by those who are seeking a greater “high”.  In order words we are told the last generation would be found for its drug use.  Matthew 24:12 "Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold.

MEXICO CITY – Eight suspected drug gang gunmen died in a battle with Mexican soldiers in the remote mountains of northern Chihuahua state, the federal Public Safety Department said Thursday. The department cited an internal army report saying the clash occurred near the rural town of Madera, about 145 miles (230 kilometers) south of the U.S. border. The gunmen apparently opened fire on an army patrol, but the Defense Department did not offer any information on the attack or the identity of the attackers. The area is frequently used by gangs to produce and traffic drugs.

"Simply put, the university is imposing thought reform." Jennifer Keeton, 24, has been enrolled in the College of Education's School Counselor masters degree program since fall 2009. She has expressed her Christian beliefs in class discussions and written assignments, but it was her views regarding gender and sexuality that irked faculty. According to the filed complaint, "She has stated that she believes sexual behavior is the result of accountable personal choice rather than an inevitability deriving from deterministic forces. She also has affirmed binary male-female gender, with one or the other being fixed in each person at their creation, and not a social construct or individual choice subject to alteration by the person so created. Further, she has expressed her view that homosexuality is a 'lifestyle,' not a 'state of being.'"

 The recent discovery of an asteroid wrapped in a layer of water ice has revived the possibility that some space rocks would be great potential pit stops — as well as destinations – for manned or robotic exploration missions. If a space destination has water, that means astronauts traveling there could potentially use it for drinking and washing. But much more importantly, the water could be broken down into its component parts (hydrogen and oxygen) to make rocket fuel, experts say.

Every teenager in the country will today be invited to take part in a two-month summer residential course under plans for voluntary programme of national service.

Mr Cameron has said that he hopes that the scheme will promote a sense of greater community cohesion”  “The “National Citizen Service” will bring together 16-year-olds from different backgrounds and around the country to become community volunteers and join in outdoor pursuits. David Cameron has said that he hopes participation in the non-military, voluntary form of national service will become a “rite of passage” for all teenagers.

Prophecy Sign: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

As you can see from the news today the peace call is being heard in our generation and direct talks between the PLO and Israel may begin in 7 days depending on if Israel gives the PLO what they want. The headline to the news on these talks is entitled: “Direct peace talks decision in seven days”, and I quote, “AbbasPalestinian President Mahmoud Abbas speaks during a a religious event to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s ascension to heaven in the West Bank city of Ramallah July 10, 2010.”

  “Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday said he would decide in the next seven days whether conditions are now ripe to proceed to face-to-face peace talks with Israel.

Abbas says he has a promise from Washington that if he agrees to direct negotiations, Israel would prolong a partial moratorium on West Bank settlement building that is due to expire in September.

But he wants to know in advance what shape and size of a future Palestinian state Israel is prepared to discuss in direct negotiations, and whether it is ready to quit the Jordan Valley and entrust security there to a third party.

Abbas also seeks clearer assurances from the United States.

"We are not against direct negotiations," he told reporters in Ramallah after publication of a closed-door speech to his Fatah movement outlining slow progress so far in indirect negotiations mediated by U.S. envoy George Mitchell.

"If there is progress by July 28, we will present it to the Arab League. If there is no progress, we will tell the League that we will continue with the proximity talks until the end of the four-month mandate we received," Abbas said.

“But Abbas said "the language used was less clear than the language that we had" during the previous Bush administration and the ideas put forward were "few and insufficient, and require a lot of clarification."

"We need to check the issue of halting settlement in a clear and well-defined way. There should also be clear terms of reference for the negotiations and at least we should define the 1967 borders. If this happens, we could go to direct negotiations," Abbas told Fatah members.

The Palestinian leader’s credibility has been eroded by the failure of past negotiations and he is under pressure from Fatah to avoid more direct talks with Israel that could be fruitless.

Abbas suspects Netanyahu’s government is not ready to make peace on terms the Palestinians can accept. But he faces pressure from Obama to embark on direct talks, which Netanyahu says he is willing to begin right away.”

Prophecy Sign: Last days world empire is the revived Roman Empire not the declining USA.

Things are getting so bad in Newark that the mayor has ordered the government to stop buying toilet paper.

It’s part of Newark Mayor Cory Booker’s belt-tightening plans that include reducing most city workers to a 4-day work week and shuttering city pools.  Booker estimates that the pool closures alone would save $250,000.  He also says that no gas will be purchased for municipal vehicles that are not deemed critically important.

Police officers, firefighters and sanitation workers would not be affected by the furlough plan. City workers were already bracing for furloughs starting in August. The number of unpaid days would increase from 11 to 19 with Booker’s plan.

The city budget shortfall is $70 million and Booker plans to meet the revenue shortfall with budget cuts instead of property tax increases.

"Taxes can not be the answer," Booker said.

Booker says property taxes in Newark have gone up 76 percent in last decade and 19 percent in the past five years.

At the news conference Booker was also quoted as saying, "Call me Mr. Scrooge, if you want, but they’ll be no Christmas decorations around the city."

Booker has proposed a $600 million budget which includes the possibility of laying off as many as 350 police and firefighters.

Below is just one example what is coming!  God was right on the money. No other generation could have ever done this until ours came along. It just so happens that all the signs Jesus warned us about are also taking place at the same time, this is a major sign of the last days.

 In my May 1, 2010 post I wrote you the following: “Prophecy Sign: The Prophecy in Ezekiel in chapters 38-39 warns the Russia will lead a end times invasion on Israel and Iran will be one of Russia’s main allies in this invasion.  Some time ago I told you that Iran would not cave in to U.S. demands to stop building their nuclear weapons program.  I also told you that Russia will not go against Iran in this matter.  We are getting closer and closer to the two wars which have not been fulfilled yet.”

Once again today’s news shows you I was correct.  I was correct because I know what the Lord has shown us about Russia and Iran in the Ezekiel prophecy.

However, DEBKA-Net-Weekly‘s Moscow point out, none of them read Medvedev’s comments right through to the end, which is where he buried the sting of a new Russian posture. Far from seconding American policy on Iran, Moscow has crossed over to the other side and now endorses Iran’s right not only to enrich uranium but to actually acquire nuclear weapons.

Nothing left for dialogue but the size of Iran’s arsenal
If this is where Moscow (and not just the tough-minded Putin) stands (with China expected to follow), there will not be much left to discuss in September other than the size of Iran’s nuclear arsenal – hardly a cause for celebration in Washington, London, Paris or Jerusalem.

2 Thessalonians 2:4  “He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.”  The “He” this verse is talking about is the Antichrist!

All of you who have read chapter 12 of my prophecy book would have read my warning, you will hear more news about the Third Temple and the importance of this site in the near future.  Was I wrong?  Not at all. Why wasn’t I wrong?  Because I am telling you what Jesus has said in His word. Knowing that I am witnessing all the signs Jesus said would come, I know  our time here on Earth is very short.  Because I know time is short I can point the the next events that will take place when prophecy is concerned and the rebuilding of the Jewish Third Temple is one the major prophecies. For the third time in a week news about the Temple Mount has been reported and you will hear a lot more of this type of news as Israel pushes to have equal access to the Temple Mount. 

I quote, “Likud lawmaker: Jews should be allowed freer access to Temple Mount” Deputy parliament speaker says it is 'distorted' Israeli police makes it easier for Muslims to visit the holy compound than for Jews.

A senior lawmaker of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing party on Tuesday visited a flashpoint religious site in Jerusalem revered by Jews and Muslims, a move that has sparked violence in the past. Under armed police escort, Danny Danon, a deputy parliament speaker, toured the site of an ancient Jewish temple, a plaza home to the al-Aqsa mosque, one of Islam's holiest sites, and said he thought Jews should be permitted freer access there.” 

"I don't see any provocation here," Danon, a Likud party lawmaker, replied when asked by reporters whether his tour of the holy site in the old walled city may ratchet up tensions. Danon said he wanted a firsthand look at security procedures and to press the case for permitting Jews to pray at the site. "There is full religious freedom for Jews and Muslims on the Temple Mount," Danon said. "But it is more difficult for the Jew than the Muslim to go and pray on the Temple Mount. This is a distortion that must be corrected." "If Jews want to go and pray on the Temple Mount then they should be allowed to do it," he added.”

“No Jewish worship took place at the site during Danon's tour on Tuesday, and all were under strict orders to avoid entering al-Aqsa. Afterwards, a small group of Jewish settlers said some prayers outside the compound's gate, where they intoned a Hebrew psalm that calls for the holy temple to someday be rebuilt.” As you will see below the Temple Mount which stands in East Jerusalem is a major problem for this generation just as Zechariah warned it would be. 

Another thing to consider here is this, we know war is coming to the Middle East.  The Psalm 83 war is approaching faster and faster.  One thing that could spark another war is if Israel enforces a law that demands the Jewish people can have the same rights on the Temple Mount as their counterparts have.  In any case, East Jerusalem and this Temple Mount has fulfilled what Zechariah calls the “burdensome stone”.  Jerusalem will continue to be a burdensome stone in these last days until Jesus Christ takes His seat as King when He returns at the end of the seven year tribulation.

 Prophecy Sign: Zechariah 12:3 “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

The prophet Zechariah made it very clear, in the last days everyone would come against Israel including Israel's former friends. For the past few years we've seen some of Israel's closest friends are abandoning Israel and turning against her just like the prophet Zechariah warned.

News out of Israel gives us an example how the UN, which is a body of all the nations is isolating Israel, and this is a forerunner to what's going to take place during the seven-year tribulation.

“Outgoing Ambassador to the UN Gabriella Shalev told American journalists on Monday that Israel is “the most isolated, lonely country in the world,” and that the biggest threat to its existence is not Iranian nuclear proliferation, but international attempts to delegitimize it. Shalev told an Israel Project luncheon in Washington that threats to Israel’s right to defend itself constitute the “first challenge” of the Jewish state, according to The Washington Times. Shalev cited Iran and tensions with the Palestinians as other significant problems, but particularly highlighted the international community’s actions toward Israel as being potentially detrimental to the country’s future. She specifically cited European court prosecutions of Israeli officials for alleged human rights offenses and UN efforts to single out Israeli conduct for reprimand. Shalev said that as sanctions resolutions at the UN put international pressure on Iran, Israel’s biggest threat is now those who question the Jewish state’s right to exist and defend itself, the Washington Times reported”

 Prophecy Sign: Keep in mind what Zechariah said about Jerusalem and add Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." “The Palestinian Authority expects "big movement" toward taking over most of the areas that would encompass a future Palestinian state by the end of the year, senior PA officials told WND. The PA officials said the U.S. has been negotiating the borders of a future Palestinian state that would see Israel eventually withdraw from most of the West Bank and some areas of eastern Jerusalem with the exception of what are known as the three main settlement blocks – Gush Etzion, Maale Adumim and Ariel. While the PA does not believe it will see an actual Palestinian state by the end of the year, it expects in that time it will take over many more neighborhoods in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem that are normally controlled on the ground by Israel. Relations have gradually thawed since then, however – though Saudi Arabia has reason to fear that Iran’s emerging nuclear power could be used against it.”  “In fact, Saudi Arabia has given tacit approval to a unilateral Israeli strike against Iran. The London Times reported last month that it is common knowledge in Saudi Arabian defense circles that the Saudis have given permission for Israeli bombers to pass over the kingdom on their way to Iran and they will look the other way. Despite this, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehman-Parast told reporters that conditions are now ripe for expanding and boosting ties and cooperation with Saudi Arabia. "Iran and Saudi Arabia are two major countries of the region, with very high potentials for cooperation," he said.”

The cooperation between Iran and the Saudis is expected.  The Saudis are caught between a rock and a hard place.  They don’t want Iran to over run them, yet they don’t want to distance themselves from the rest of their Arab Brothers either, for future reasons of course.  The Saudis could change in an instant with the wind.  For example, If Iran is attacked by Israel and there is a counter attack, the Saudis seeing the number of Arab nations that are ready to come against Israel they would join in on the attack and fulfill what was written about them in Psalm 83.  One thing is clear, we aren’t going to have to wait that long to find out.  Rumors have it that their will be another war in the Middle East by the end of this year.  If you love the Lord, do what He asks.  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!.

“California (Reuters) – The city of Oakland, California on Tuesday legalized large-scale marijuana cultivation for medical use and will issue up to four permits for "industrial" cultivation starting next year.

The move by the San Francisco Bay Area city aims to bring medical marijuana cultivation into the open and allow the city to profit by taxing those who grow it.

The resolution passed the city council easily after a nearly four-hour debate that pitted small-scale "garden" growers against advocates of a bigger, industrial system that would become a "Silicon Valley" of pot.

"This is going to grow as an industry. And someone is going to have a high-tech producer," Council Member Jean Quan said during the debate.

Oakland already taxes sales of medical marijuana, but cultivation has existed in a legal gray area. Council members plan later action to levy new taxes on growers.

The city's decision is separate from a statewide ballot initiative to legalize marijuana for adult recreational use which Californians will vote on in November.”

Prophecy Sign: Daniel 12:4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”

One of the very specific signs that this is the final generation comes from Daniel chapter 12:4 where we're told that our generation would increase in knowledge and people would be traveling back and forth. Once are generation invented the computer, the use of the computer caused an explosion of increase knowledge . Everything Daniel was shown by God concerning our specific generation has come to pass and we are the generation which has increased in knowledge, and people are traveling back and forth by the millions every single day.  The report below gives a great example of how our increase the knowledge has given us new weaponry .

The successful test of the Laser Weapon System off the coast of California was announced during the Farnborough International Air Show, which is taking place this week in England.

The technology, jointly developed with Raytheon, used industrial strength lasers, is more than just your run-of-the-mill PR exercise. In its write-up of the technology, Scientific American correctly notes that the shoot-down of the drones over water constitutes an advance over previous Raytheon tests which focused on static targets.

Mike Booen of Raytheon gave USA Today the money quote for the day: "The targets came in over the ocean, and it was a good day for lasers, bad day for drones."

Still, don't expect deployment any time soon. Even if the follow-up tests come through with flying colors, the technology is likely going to take several more years before it's ready for combat situation. (Coincidentally, the breakthrough made the rounds on the anniversary of the day that U.S. astronauts walked on the moon in 1969.

Here is another example of this increase knowledge. Once again we see the use of modern day computers to do something that no other generation in the history of man was ever able to do until this generation came along.  The headline to the next report is as follows : “Computers to translate world's 'lost' languages after program deciphers ancient text”

 “Scientists have used a computer program to decipher a written language that is more than three thousand years old.

The program automatically translated the ancient written language of Ugaritic within just a few hours.

Scientists hope the breakthrough could help them decipher the few ancient languages that they have been unable to translate so far.

Ugaritic was last used around 1200 B.C. in western Syria and consists of dots on clay tablets. It was first discovered in 1920 but was not deciphered until 1932.

The computer program was able to decipher many of the words that Ugaritic (pictured) has in common with Hebrew

Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology told the program that the language was related to another known language, in this case Hebrew.

 Prophecy Sign: Now let's add Luke 21:25 and what Jesus tells us to look for the last days, and connect that with Daniel chapter 12:4. In Luke 21:25 Jesus tells us there will be signs in the stars. 

The article below is a prime example of our increase knowledge has lead to new discoveries in the stars. When you connect both what  Daniel said and what Jesus warned, you see both of these last day signs collide together in the same generation. These are very specific end times signs that show this is the final generation that will see Jesus Christ’s return .

 Prophecy Sign: Signs of the Antichrist.  When you read 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2:9 you see how the Antichrist is going to arrive on the scene in the last days. He is as we are instructed to arrive in the world accompanied by "all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders," .  Those of you who still think Obama is the Antichrist need to hold on to sound doctrine. I haven't seen any miracles or wonders, or powers surrounding Obama. One writer points out “if Obama were the Antichrist, I don't think that he would be in such a close race with Hillary Clinton”.  Right about now the only wonders surrounding Obama is, people are wondering why in the heck they vote for him?  Unlike the Obama, the Antichrist will grow in influence and his popularity will engulf the entire planet his rating will be off the chart as his demonstrates all his counterfeit powers, miracles, signs, and wonders.  Obama’s ratings should be enough proof alone that he is nothing like what the Bible says the Antichrist will be like.

Prophecy Sign: There is no mention of America in the Book of Daniel. America will be taken down as any kind of power in the last days. Daniel didn’t write one sentence about America and we in these generation can see why.  America has turned its back on Jesus Christ and is in the process of kicking the Lord out of the American society, by passing bills that kill babies, outlawing Christians from praying in schools, covering up Jesus pictures,  crosses around the US are being taken down or covered up, stopping Christian pray days, removing the ten commandments from Government buildings, funding US tax dollars to promote overseas abortions and promoting Islamic law, pushing to advance same sex marriage, and the homosexual movement, trying to divide the land of Israel, and working to give back East Jerusalem to the PLO.  These are only a few of the sins coming out of the US government these days has has caused the Lord’s curse to fall on America. Most Americans don’t think about this but I can assue you, Jesus is taking notice.

President Obama ran as a Christian but his fruits show him as he really is. Read what Jesus warned us in Matthew 7:15-23. “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!”.  At this point it is becoming very clear Obama used Christianity to help him get elected.  Below is a good example of Obama’s fruits.

“The proposed constitution would also give legal status to what are known as "Kadhi Courts," constituting an Islamic judicial structure within the overall structure of the Kenyan legal structure, to resolve disputes between Muslims under Shariah, or Islamic law.

Critics have charged that the constitutional provision to codify Kadhi Courts would violate the separation of state and religion by allowing Islamic law to have official legal status.

WND previously reported that in the 2007 presidential campaign in Kenya, Raila Odinga – the presidential candidate of the Orange Democratic Party and a Luo tribesman like Obama's father – signed an undisclosed memorandum of understanding with radical Muslims in Kenya to expand Islamic law within the country in exchange for Muslim support of his candidacy.

You will not find it anywhere in the Word of God that teaches killing unborn babies is a good fruit, or you you find anywhere in the Bible to convert over to Islamic law that is used to force people into being a servant to Allah. These teaching are foreign to God and opposed by God so they are in the basket of bad fruit which will be judged by God at the judgment seat of Christ.  Would a true believer of Christ request to cover up a cross while giving any kind of speech?  Not on your life! Yet these are the very things Obama is doing and you wonder why America is declining?  God is in the process of judging the US and His curse has fallen heavy on America in the same way that the Lord dealt with Israel when they turned away from Him.  When Israel was following the Lord they had a good king ruling the land.  When they turned away from Him He gave them over to a evil king that helped bring down the nation.  Obama is what type of king, (ruler)? That a look at the chart below and you will see the GDP for the US now is worse than the first depression.  America is not found in the Book of Daniel because God took her out as a power in the last days.  Why tell Daniel any about America if she was reduced in power so much that she would never play any kind of rule during the end times?

If your waiting for America to make a rebound your going to be waiting a very very long time because it won’t happen until the US turns back to Christ and Obama stops his policies of trying to divide Israel into two states. Until this happens, and it looks like it won’t, don’t expect to see America recover form this present crisis.  Fact is, America will no doubt help bring down the global economy which will give rise to the real Antichrist.

 In many of my posts last year which are till up at this site I told you what would happen to the housing market in the near future.  Everything I warned you about is happening.  Does this make me a prophet?  No, not at all, but what it does show you is I know what to expect because I know what Jesus has warned us and I have connected the dots correctly between Bible prophecy and current events.  The housing market is a big junk of the America economic outlook and look where it is going?  Down hill!

Does any of you remember what I said about the banks?  I warned you more banks would go into forecloser in 2010 and now look at the news. “The economy may be showing signs of life, but the banking industry remains in critical condition. In fact, the struggling industry is on track to surpass last year's 140 bank closures this year, with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. reporting 96 closures as of the end of last week. At this same time last year, the FDIC had logged approximately 70 closures.

 Prophecy Sign: Revelation 16:8 “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire.” Revelation 7: 16 “Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat.” Mark 13:8 “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.”

 For the past week I've been giving you signs from the news showing you  the world is heating up and we are seeing these extreme temperatures Christ warned about.  The  headline to the first report is, “The world is hotter than ever”.

I quote, March, April, May and June set records, making 2010 the warmest year worldwide since record-keeping began in 1880, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says. "It's part of an overall trend," says Jay Lawrimore, climate analysis chief at NOAA's National Climatic Data Center. "Global temperatures … have been rising for the last 100-plus years. Much of the increase is due to increases in greenhouse gases." There were exceptions: June was cooler than average across Scandinavia, southeastern China, and the northwestern USA, according to NOAA's report”.

  Here is the second report. “Kansas heat wave has killed 2,000 cattle: state” “CHICAGO (Reuters) – The intense heat and humidity that blanketed central Kansas since late last week have killed more than 2,000 cattle and one state official called the heat-related losses the worst in his 17 years on the job.

However, conditions for the cattle improved somewhat on Tuesday as the humidity has decreased and the wind has picked up, state and feedlot sources said. Kansas is the third largest cattle state with more than 2 million cattle in feedlots. "It is all cattle in feedlots. It is more the humidity than the heat," Ken Powell, environmental scientist with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, said of the more than 2,000 cattle deaths. Temperatures reached 101 Fahrenheit (38 Celsius) at Garden City in southwest Kansas on Monday, and highs in the region were expected to reach the upper 90s to low 100s F (upper 30s C) through Friday, said Joel Burgio, meteorologist at Telvent DTN.

Dry conditions threaten Vietnamese rice production. The USDA has projected a disappointingly low Midwest harvest, and China has raised questions on the demand side by doubling its imports from Canada.”    I think it would be good at this point to revisit Rev. chapter 16:8 were Jesus warns the people in the last generation would be facing this scorching heat from the sun, which as you can see results is droughts, lack of water, and hunger. This planet is heading down the road to fulfill all those words Jesus gave to us in the Revelation. 

I found this next section of the same report interesting because it also points to Christ’s warning in Revelation 6:6. “Two years ago, a confluence of environmental causes compounded by rising fuel costs and a global credit crunch caused food prices to skyrocket an average of 43 percent worldwide, leading to starvation and riots from Mexico to Bangladesh.
Some are worried that was just a warning.”  In Rev. 6:6 Jesus shows us people will work all day long for a very small meal of wheat or barley.  This shows us that the price of food is going to skyrocket.  Jesus also points out in part of Matthew 24:7 that there would be civil unrest as kingdom fights against kingdom.  Why would people of the same nations fight among themselves.  One of the reason will be over food!  Keep in mind what we are witnessing right now are the “birth pain” of things to some.  The sun’s heat is going to play a major role in the destruction of crops all over this planet.  If you are living during the seven year tribulation you better prepare yourself to live in the conditions as cited by Christ in Rev. 16:8 and Matt. 24:7. 

If you don’t want to live this way you have a way out!  That way is Jesus as your Savior.  “Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).  Do you believe this?  It is your choice but I promise you this, you will wish to God you hand not hardened your heart toward Jesus as Lord once you find yourself in the midst of the seven year tribulation.

With the typhoon season rolling in, Liu Ning, general secretary of the government's flood prevention agency, told a news conference authorities must ramp up preparations. "Since 60 to 80 percent of the annual rain level occurs in June, July and August, we should be prepared to prevent and combat potential disasters," Liu said. Tropical storm Chanthu is expected to hit China's southern island of Hainan and Guangdong province this weekend. Six to eight typhoons are expected this year. “The waters have killed 701 people and left 347 missing. The overall damage totals 142.2 billion yuan ($21 billion), Liu said.”

In another report it was stated, “Flooding, particularly along the Yangtze River basin, has overwhelmed reservoirs, swamped towns and cities, and caused landslides that have smothered communities, including toppling 645,000 houses. The Three Gorges Dam faced its highest levels ever this week and water breached the massive dam. "Although water levels in the upper stretches of the Yangtze River have surpassed that of 1998, the flood situation is still not as severe because the Three Gorges Dam has played a key role in preventing floods along the river this year," Liu said. The waters have killed 701 people and left 347 missing. The overall damage totals 142.2 billion yuan ($21 billion), Liu said. This year's torrential floods have hit farms especially hard, affecting 2.3 million acres (930,000 hectares) of crops, with more than 330 acres (133 hectares) destroyed by floods as of July 10, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.”

Prophecy Signs: Matthew 24:7 Many earthquakes and Luke 21:11 "great earthquakes". Ezekiel 38:19-20 Says, "“In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.  The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground.” 

Isaiah 24:20 also tells us “The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.”

“Several earthquakes, the largest with a magnitude of 5.8, struck southern Iran near its Gulf coast early on Wednesday, the country's seismological center said, but state media said there was no word of any casualties. The center reported a series of quakes measuring 5.8, 5.2, 4.1 and 3.9 in a sparsely populated southern region. "No reports of possible casualties have been received yet," Iranian state television said. The U.S. Geological Survey said the first and largest quake was very shallow, with a verified epicenter only 6.2 miles deep. It was located 55 miles southwest of Lar, close to the southern coast.”

 Prophecy Sign: Daniel 9:27 “He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

Matthew 24:15 "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand”.

2 Thessalonians 2:4  “He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.”  The “He” this verse is talking about is the Antichrist!

In my book I outline the events leading to the rebuilding of the Third Jewish Temple.  Each year we are getting closer and closer to witnessing this Temple being rebuilt.  There was more news about the Temple, and I promise you this, the Temple Jesus told us would be rebuilt is almost here!

Headlines: “Half the Public Wants to See Holy Temple Rebuilt”

Half the Israeli public wants the Holy Temple (Beit HaMikdash) to be rebuilt. This is the main finding of a poll commissioned by the Knesset Television Channel and carried out by the Panels Institute.

“The poll was taken in advance of this Tuesday’s national day of mourning, known as Tisha B’Av, on which the two Holy Temples in Jerusalem were destroyed, 2,000 and 2,500 years ago, respectively.

Forty nine percent said they want the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, while 23% said they do not. The remainder said they were unsure.

The public is about evenly split on whether they believe it will happen, with a slight edge – 42% to 39% – to those who believe the Third Holy Temple will be rebuilt.

Should the State of Israel take active steps towards the reconstruction? Forty-eight percent said no, while 27% said yes.

The complete results of the poll will be broadcast on Channel 99, the Knesset channel, on Monday night at 9:30 P.M., right after the traditional evening prayers and mournful recitation of the Book of Lamentations in synagogues throughout the country.

Given the current political climate, the onset of construction of the Beit HaMikdash is not likely to go over quietly in the Islamic world, which currently has day-to-day control over the Temple Mount. A mere visit to the holy site in the year 2,000 by then-Opposition Leader Ariel Sharon is blamed by Arabs as having sparked the Oslo War, a terrorist onslaught that claimed nearly 1,000 Israeli lives in just over four years – although in truth, the war was planned by leading Palestinian Authority figures for months beforehand.”

Have Israel’s efforts to convince the US to threaten Iran with a credible military option paid off? According to recent media reports, the answer might be yes. Since the US pushed a fourth round of sanctions against Iran through the UN Security Council last month, Jerusalem has increased diplomatic efforts to convince the White House that for the sanctions to work, a credible military option needs to be on the table to scare Iran to reconsider its pursuit of a nuclear weapon.

An indication that this might have happened came in the latest issue of Time magazine, in an article titled “An Attack on Iran: Back on the Table.”
Written by Joe Klein, the article claims that in recent months, the US military’s Central Command has made significant progress in planning targeted air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, some of which were deemed impossible to penetrate just two years ago. Psalm 83 shows Egypt will attack Israel in the last days with the rest of the nations that boarder Israel.

Headlines: “West believes Mubarak dying”

There is no question that Egypt is going to turn on Israel very soon. God has never been wrong in any of His prophecies, and if He shows us Egypt will be numbered in the Psalm 83 war against Israel with their Arab neighbors than there is little question as to what direction Egypt will go once President Mubarak passes on. Read the report and I will connect the dots.

“The official said the Egyptian government will face a historic decision after Mubarak dies, and ultimately it will have to account for the wishes of the Egyptian people for more openness after years of authoritarian rule. "In some ways, the presidential campaign has already started," the official said. "This is different than the dynamic you see in other countries. There is some open space in Egyptian society, but there is not yet enough to enable a genuinely competitive election among candidates, where more than one have a true opportunity to win." Steven Cook said the US must pressure Egypt to move towards a more democratic regime, but warned the competitive elections could cause candidates to compete to be more anti-Israel in order to win over voters.”

We always need to keep in mind what the Prophet Zechariah said in Zech. 12:3. “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.  We are already witnessing Israel’s allies beginning to turn away from her as seen in Zech 12:3.  Israel now only has a few allies left and they are are the road to backing away from her as well.  Turkey was a main ally of Israel until January of this year when Israel raided the Gaza to bring an end to the PLO’s rocket surge on Israel. In less than four months after the Gaza conflict Turkey has become another foe to Israel.

Egypt has a peace treaty in place with Israel, but that treaty will soon be taken away. I think it very possible that the next President of Egypt will turn on Israel to come more in line with his Arab Brothers.  Another thing that could happen is, a new President of Egypt is installed and he keeps the peace with Israel up until Israel does something to force him to take sides with his Arabs Brothers.  If Iran  is attacked by Israel it would strengthen the union given us in Psalm 83.  Since all the nations bordering Israel attack Israel, Egypt would forget about the peace pact and attack Israel thinking once and for all Israel will be wiped out as a nation.  We will have to wait and see what happens but the outcome is always going to be the same, Israel will be attacked and Egypt will be one of those nations who try to wipe her out.

Let me give you a side note to the Psalm 83 war which is much different from the Ezekiel 38 war.  If you notice in Ezekiel 38:11 is says the following: “And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates”  When the Ezekiel war being Israel won’t have any walls up or anything stopping people from moving around as we see in Israel today.  The Psalm war will break out while the peace talks are going on and while Israel has these protive walls.  When the Psalm was is over and Israel takes more than away from the nations who invade her, she will feel safe and no doubt remove the walls, bars and gates as we see in the Ezekiel prophecy.  The news today shows us the first war to be fought will be the Psalm war because of these walls and guess what?  They are putting more of these walls up. I quote, “An IDF representative told the ministers during the cabinet meeting that construction of a fence along the border between Israel and Egypt in order to block entry to infiltrators will start in November. Defense Ministry Secretary General Udi Shani, who was also present in the meeting, confirmed.”

Prophecy Sign: Luke 21:25 Jesus says "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. Prophecy Sign: This generation is moving down the road to fulfilling the words spoken by Jesus in Matthew 24:32-39.  In these verses Jesus tells us this generation would turn out to be just like Noah’s generation.  One of the things Noah’s generation was known for was that they turned to homosexuality instead of the natural way in which God intended man to live. Here is an example of how this generation is fulfilling Jesus’ warnings. I quote,  “UNITED NATIONS — The Obama administration and 14 members of the U.S. Congress are urging the U.N. Economic and Social Council to accredit the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission so it can work at the United Nations. The U.S.-based organization, which has offices in South Africa, Argentina and the Philippines, has been trying since 2007 to get consultative status with the council, which serves as the main U.N. forum for discussing international economic and social issues. The organization, the U.S. government and the members of Congress believe the group’s application has not been approved because it promotes gay rights.”

When Obama was running for President he told the world he was a Christian but his actions show the exact opposite.

The new UFO sighting took place in Chongqing in eastern China on July 15. Witnesses told Shanghai Daily they saw the same thing: "four lantern-like objects forming a diamond shape that hovered over the city’s Shaping Park for over an hour."  Like the one before it, there has been no official explanation to date for this latest incident.  Last week, flights were diverted in Hangzhou — also in eastern China — after a mysterious object was seen hovering in the sky, People’s Daily reports. State-run Xinhua News Agency quoted a head of air traffic control as saying, "No conclusion has yet been drawn" about the UFO by the airport.”

Following a lengthy investigation, California’s Fair Political Practices Commission ordered The Church of Jesus Christ

of Latter Day Saints last month to pay a $5,539 fine for failing to accurately report $37,000 in contributions to the victorious effort to pass Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriages in California in 2008.

One of the key figures behind exposing the Church was Linda Stay, whose ancestor was a founding member. But Stay parted ways with the Church in 2008, and later joined forces with filmmaker Reed Cowan to detail the prominent role the Mormons played in the reinstatement of Prop 8 in the new documentary “8: The Mormon Proposition”, which is narrated by Oscar-winning “Milk” writer , Lance Dustin Black.

“The documents we exposed really started a lot of activity; I believe that certainly the film did play a part in bringing to light what the Church did. Audiences have been shocked – members of the Church knew it was involved in so many ways, but they had no idea about the extent of the involvement,” Stay, who has a gay son and lesbian daughter as well as seven other children, told Pop Tarts. “I hope this sends a message loud and clear.”
