In Ezekiel 38:6 you will read that Togarmah, which is also from the Northern quarters will also go down with Russia when they attack Israel.  Togarmah is modern day Turkey.  What you need to see is that Turkey and Russia have also made new alliances with each other, and as I said, this is not a coincidence. This new report shows the ties between Russia and Turkey are getting much stronger. I quote, “Turkey is determined to sign a contract on strategic cooperation with Russia, Turkish PM Erdogan told Sabah commenting on the results of his Moscow visit.- Changing of visa regime between Turkey and Russia has been one of highlights in the negotiations. Erdogan told that both Dmitry Medvedev and Vladimir Putin hailed the idea “That issue has been always in our agenda and our businessmen have been waiting for some changes. Old visa regime creates difficulties in tourism field, in international freight transportation, etc. Russian President will most probably visit Turkey in May or June. We recommended organizing of Turkish-Russian business council in the framework of his visit, where visa regime changes will be discussed.” That was our initiative and we hope that we’ll get some changes.”

Ezekiel also shows us Iran will attack Israel with Russia and Turkey and we believe this is why Turkey and Iran have also made new alliances among themselves. Recent news stated, “Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has thrown his weight behind Iran despite recent threats by Washington for new sanctions against Tehran.-In an indirect reference to Israel's nuclear arsenal, the Turkish prime minister criticized the dual stance of major powers on Iran's nuclear issue, calling for a diplomatic solution to the nuclear standoff. “If those who have the power do not act in a just manner, then the world will be a place where right and wrong are not distinguishable. There will be no global peace in such a world,” he said.”  What you see in these few reports is only a glimpse at the new unions that already have been formed between Russia and every one of the nations listed in Ezekiel.  If you want to see the entire picture, please read chapter 10 of my free prophecy book.  You may want to read it before the attack happens!

Prophecy Sign:  Matthew 24:7 is a sign that most people have or are becoming very familiar with.  This morning Haiti was awaken by another major earthquake, which was a 6.1 magnitude quake.  The USGS posted it as a 6.1.  “PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — A strong earthquake has hit Haiti, shaking buildings and sending people running into the streets. The U.S. Geological Survey says the preliminary 6.0 magnitude quake hit at 6:03 a.m. (1103 GMT) Wednesday about 35 miles (56 kilometers) northwest of the capital of Port-au-Prince.”

Prophecy Sign:  Revelation 9: 21 Christ warns our generation will be the drug generation.  “Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.”  In Revelation 9:21 the words “magic arts” is the Greek word pharmakia from which comes our word “pharmacy”. It signifies the use of medicines, drugs, spells, such as those used in witchcraft and those used today by those who are seeking a greater high.

By now most people know this present generation has been labeled the drug generation.  Drug use has become a major problem in most of the nations, and many nations are now depending on the sale of drugs to keep their economy alive.  It appears someone is trying to kill off heroin users, and in the process they are getting others sick as well..   I quote, “The French health ministry issued a warning on Tuesday after eight people died and seven fell sick in two European countries from using heroin contaminated by anthrax. "Since December 6, there have been 15 confirmed cases of anthrax among heroin users, 14 in Scotland and one in Germany," the ministry's General Directorate for Health (DGS) said in a statement. "Eight people died," it said. "The likeliest source is heroin contaminated by anthrax spores."   This article brings to light the sign of disease as mentioned in Matthew 24:7 for anthrax can spread very fast via the powder looking substance.

The news today stated, “In an interview with Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai published on Sunday, a US official who spoke on condition of anonymity said that “if Syria supplies Hezbollah with surface-to-air missiles (SA-2), war will break out and Tel Aviv will directly strike Damascus.  In addition, the official said Syria trained Hezbollah members in Damascus on how to use the SA-2 missiles. Israel has previously warned the country not to supply Hezbollah with the missiles, according to the US source. “Any possible military attack by Hezbollah against Israel will be met by a ‘harmful war’ on Lebanon. Israel made a mistake in 2006 by not striking Syria during the war with Lebanon, and any new attack from Hezbollah against it will not spare Damascus from a strike,” he added”.  Are you getting this!  Jesus is showing us the picture of events that have been written about long ago and you better get ready to witness this war on the news soon because it is coming fast.  It is not a fluke that the nations mentioned in Psalms 83 are the exact nations talking about going to war with Israel.  Now would be a great time to except Christ as your savior.  This war will be we are at the door to the beginning of the seven year tribulation.  This war will also mean that the second war against Israel found in Ezekiel chapter 38 is also about to be fulfilled.

Speaking about Egypt, and wars, and huge storms that push the sea and waves, “Egypt's Sinai is experiencing the worst flooding in 16 years.  Egypt by the way is one of the nations which have fallen under God’s curse which is found in Genesis 12:3.  Egypt is one of the nations trying to divide up the land of Israel and to give back East Jerusalem to the PLO.  As a result of going against God they have fallen under this curse.  It is no wonder that Egypt will be defeated in the Psalms war and at the current time being flooded by these storms.  It is all part of the curse.

Psalms 83 also show us that Palestinians will attack Israel.  Right now the Palestinians are centered in the Gaza Stripe.  These people want to wipe out Israel and are under the curse also.  Take a look at what is going on in the Gaza.  “Flooding has forced more than 100 people from their homes and farms in Gaza after heavy rains hit the area. Security services worked through the night to evacuate families from the area of Wadi Gaza, south of Gaza city. At least 12 people were injured in the flooding which destroyed scores of homes and inundated animal pens. Hamas, in control of the Gaza Strip, said the flooding is a "humanitarian disaster", and declared a state of emergency in the area. "The flooding of Wadi Gaza endangers the lives of citizens because there are built up homes, farmlands and livestock pens that are completely flooded," said Mohammed al-Agha, the minister of agriculture. The flooding cut off roads and washed away a bridge linking Gaza city to the south of the territory. “

Prophecy Sign: The Prophet Ezekiel tells us in Ezekeil 38 that Iran will be coming down against Israel in the last days with Russia.  Russia will actually lead the attack.  In my book and here at my posts I have been telling you that the leaders in Iran want Israel to attack them.  I pointed out that these Iranian leaders know very well that if Israel attacks them their Muslim Brothers will join in with them and try to wipe out Israel in an counter attack.  As you can see from the news today my warnings were correct and I quote, “Iranian exile Mahmoud Karimi Hakak said during a conference in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem that "Khamenei and Ahmadinejad pray five times a day that Israel or the United States would attack its nuclear facilities. It would be a mistake that would unify the public." He nevertheless claimed that Israel has no right to criticize Iran on its nuclear program so long as it is not a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency. (Yaheli Moran Zelikovich”  I often tell people be careful for what you are praying about.  In this case the Iranian leaders are going to get what they want.  God has already soon us the result of this but showing us in chapter 39 of Ezekiel that Iran and all the people invading Israel will be wiped out.  Only 1/6 of the entire invading force will be left alive to return to their own lands.  God is again not going to let Israel be defeated.  Time is running out for Iran to close up their nuclear weapons program.  The war is just around the corner.

If you are following the news you can see that Iran is trying to start a war with Israel. “Last week's failed attempt on the lives of Israeli diplomats in Jordan was apparently carried out on instructions from Teheran, sources close to Jordan's General Intelligence Department (GID) revealed on Monday.  The sources said the GID was investigating the possibility that the explosives used in the attack had been smuggled into the kingdom by Iranian diplomats. The attack itself was apparently carried out by local al-Qaida supporters who received money and explosives from Iran, the sources said.”  Like I said, Iran is going to get their wish soon, but they are not going to like the outcome.

Prophecy Sign:  Matthew 24:7 Jesus warns of several things.  He tells us to watch for famines, war, pestilences, which is diseases, and earthquakes.  In verse 8 He say’s, “All these are the beginning of birth pains, meaning all these signs of the last days will get much worse.  So far today there have been 5 good size quakes.

Some scientists now report that the earthquake in Haiti reveals that country as the miner’s canary of ecological collapse, a modern-day Easter Island. The term that scientists are using is ‘Overshoot,’ meaning that the population has far surpassed any hope of the environment sustaining them. According to a report in Energy Bulletin, Haiti has ten times the population density of the United States, and the highest density in the Western Hemisphere. To reach that density the United States would have to be crowded with 2.7 billion additional residents. What we are witnessing in the wake of the most recent disaster, they argue, is not the devastating impact of a mere earth quake, but the impact of a crisis in an environment where the energy needs of a population have surpassed the ability of the environment in which they are living to sustain that need. The situation has reached a virtually irreversible slide into extinction: 97% of the land has been stripped bare of trees. As a result, flood waters inundate towns and wash away roads at such a rate that houses and roads are washed away again before they can be completely rebuilt. As far a the sign of diseases is concerned the complex problems Haiti are having seem to be getting worse as the fear of disease is growing.  A report entitled,”Haiti earthquake: medics warn of infection risk to 3 million people” tells us, “Medics treating survivors of the Haitian earthquake have warned the next big challenge is saving as many as three million hungry, injured and homeless people from deadly infections and diseases.” The report mentions “there is an immediate threat of tetanus and gangrene to those who are injured as well as a risk from measles, meningitis and other infections.”

Speaking about huge storms.  El Nino has returned and is causing California major problems right now.  In my book I explain what the El Nino condition is, ubt in short it is a condition where the ocean’s water warms up making condition for storms much greater.  California has seen its share of prophecy signs of the last days.  For the past 4 years California has been fighting a major drought.  Now all of a sudden this State is being hit by storm after storms and the flooding has already begun to wipe out crops.  Once again I have to remind you what happens when crops are killed off before they are harvested.  The price of these crops skyrockets.  All this is taking place in California at a time this state is almost bankrupt.  As you can see this is another location where Christ’s words are coming to pass.  I quote, “and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity: the sea and the waves roaring” Luke 21:25.  “The National Weather Service Tuesday issued a flash flood watch for areas scarred by last summer's wildfires as authorities and residents brace for another day of heavy rains. The second in a series of three winter storms is expected to slam Southern California by the early afternoon. Mayor Villaraigosa announced Monday that a central command post has been established for all weather-related emergencies.”  You speak of one disaster after another, in 2009 California had one fire after another and much of the ground hasn’t had a chance to grow.  Officials are telling us this is going to cause the flooding to be that much worse.

Notice the prophecy said that the waves and seas would be roaring?  What moves the water?  Wind!  In the past few years we have seen what damage the winds have done as these huge storms have swept across the nations.  You want to witness these winds and roaring seas and waves?  Watch the video below dated Jan. 18, 2010. One thing is for sure, these types of storms will get much worse in the near future because Christ said they would be like birth pains, and we know birth pains get worse the closer a woman is going to deliver.  In the case of prophecy all these birth pains will end up delivering the Messiah.  When will he come?  Christ returns at the end of the seven year tribulation.

Yesterday I told you those using Fire Fox as their browser are getting a message my site may harm their computer.  Of course my site is a safe site and can not harm your computer. I got word on this as you will see below:

I have at least six other browsers installed and capable of accessing The Edge Am, and the video from that site you posted on your page, with no problem.  It's just Firefox that has that problem of denying access to the site and video.  If your viewers want to limit problems and they don't want to use IE (because of it's many unique problems) I suggest they install another good browser and use that browser to access your site.  There is NOTHING wrong with your site.  It's just that Google tested the site and got two (count them 2) Trojans loaded on their test computer, Trojans that have since been caught and eliminated and which could be blocked by good anti-spyware/malware software.  Because of those two cases Google won't let people access the videos on that site at all.  The irritation of modern Nanny Statism!

Answer:  I was told take some who are using Fire Fox as a server may get this message, but there is nothing  at my site that has hurt or could hurt anyones computer. The Tapepad site which my post is on is a secured site and it safet to use.  This message first appeared where my radio show is done at The Edge.  It may be that because I posted a show my the Edge that this message has now carried over to my site since I have a video posted from there.  I am going to remove the video to see if the message also goes with it, however The Edge site is also a safe site.  –

Prophecy Sign: A few days ago I gave you signs that the call for peace and safety is being heard every day. Paul told us in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, and I quote, “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

I’m not going to go into great detail about this. I just want to make sure you know the first part of Paul’s warnings has already come to pass. Here is the latest news on the peace talks. “RAMALLAH, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) — Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat Friday said implementing the principle of the two-state solution is the shortest way to achieve peace in the Middle East. Erekat's statement was made to reporters following a meeting in Ramallah with the U.S. deputy peace envoy David Hill and U.S. Consul in Jerusalem Daniel Rubenstein. "We can't ignore the principle of the two-state solution and the issue of drawing the borders," said Erekat, adding the Quartet (the United States, the United Nations, Russia and EU) recognition of the two-state solution "is the shortest way to achieve peace in the region." – The first part of this prophecy never really bothered me however, the second part should be a concern to you if you live in the U.S, the European Union, Russia, and as the report says, the United Nations. Of course the UN means all the nations! You may be asking me why should you be concerned? All you have to do is read Zechariah 12: 2-3. One of the most important signs for our generation I believe comes from two passages. In Zech. 12:2-3 it says, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” In Joel 3:2 it says, “I will gather all the nations And bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there On behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land.” – At the present time God’s warning about dividing up Israel and burdening themselves over Jerusalem is being carried out not by the U.S. the EU, Russia but all the leaders on the world as they sit in the UN. This tells us that we can expect God’s curse will fall harder and harder on each one of the nations who are fulfilling either of these two prophecies concerning Israel. I am telling you this now so when you see what happens to these nation in 2010 I will again point out why these things are happening. The call for peace and safety is the sign to us that the second part of Paul’s warnings is about to take place.

Prophecy Sign: Now that the world has been watching the disaster the 7.0 earthquake has inflicted on Haiti more people seem to be paying attention to earthquakes news.   People should pay attention to this sign because Jesus told us to look for them in the last days.  Matthew 24:7 says we will see many earthquakes, and Luke 21:11 also informs us great earthquakes would be a sign. Yesterday I quoted Mark 13:8 where Christ warned we would see the signs of earthquakes and troubles.  These troubles are getting worse in Haiti right now and as you will read, people are freaking out, and I don’t blame them.  “Despair among the Haitian people clamoring for food, water and medical care is turning into simmering anger as relief workers struggle to reach earthquake victims. The Haitian people, as well as the thousands of foreign missionaries and aid workers trapped in the country's capital, are entering day three without food or water. Supply pallets have piled up by the tons in the Port-au-Prince airport with no way to reach the hardest hit communities. Adding to the tension is growing unrest among Haitian citizens that the search and rescue efforts have largely been focused on Americans and other foreigners. Stores have also been cleaned out by desperate Haitians, but the U.N. World Food Program denied a report that its warehouse in Port-au-Prince had been looted. There are still no official death toll estimates, though most estimate tens of thousands were killed. Haitian President Rene Preval said that 7,000 bodies have already been buried in a mass grave, and decomposing bodies are filling the streets with a sickening stench.”

Prophecy Sign: II Timothy 3:1-5,7 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.  For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."  We see men’s real characteristics as soon as a disaster happens as did in Haiti.  I quote, ” Gangs of men armed with machetes were seen looting parts of Port-au-Prince, Haiti on Jan. 14, 2010.”  Some may say, “look at what they are going through”.  Everyone in Haiti is going through the same thing right now so why do you see some praying in the streets, while others go out to kill and steal what they can.  This is the time when you really can witness who the real Christians are.  Take a good look at what is going on in Haiti and magnify that times 1000 and you will get a small sample of what the tribulation is going to look like.  If you don’t like what you see, and nor can you handle what you see, I suggest you give your life over to Christ today to make sure you aren’t around when the tribulation begins.

Another section of the report stated, “What made the situation that much more tense was sightings of gangs of young men with machetes. On Wednesday they were seen getting into stores and taking all the supplies they could carry. The armed men were seen marching up and down the streets with machetes raised and the competition among the gangs turned quite fierce.” In the King James Bible in verse 3 of this same scripture it says men will be “fierce”.  Connect the dots for yourself!

Prophecy Sign: Ezekiel 38-39 is the prophecy about one of the next wars against Israel.  In chapter 38 we are told Iran will be one of the nations joining with Russia when Russia invades Israel.  I have been giving you the signs leading up to this war.  Many believe as I do that the this war could begin when Israel strikes at Iran’s nuclear weapons sites.  Time is running out for Iran to halt their program and today we got another signal from Israel that this attack will come if things don’t change.  “Former Soviet dissident and Israeli politician Natan Sharansky tells Newsmax that a military strike by Israel on Iran’s nuclear facilities is inevitable if a diplomatic solution cannot be found.  Sharansky spent 10 years in Soviet prisons for his political activism, and after his release in 1986 he went on to serve in numerous positions in the Israeli government. Former President George W. Bush awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2006.In an exclusive Newsmax interview, he held out hope that an Iranian regime change from within could end the threat that would be posed by a nuclear-armed Islamic Republic. To that end, he said he would like to see “support of the free world for Iranian democratic dissidents. Some of them I know personally very well. I still believe that there is a chance that there will be regime change.”  Remember what Iran’s President said on Dec. 2, 2009 in reference to halting his nuclear program?  I quote, “Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said there isn't a "damn thing" Israel can do to stop its nuclear program”.  I am telling you Israel will not have a choice in the matter because Ahmadinejad is not going to cave in so you should be prepared to soon see this war in the news.  When you see it take place you will know you are about to either get raptured or be left behind, that is if we haven’t already gotten removed from this world.

Prophecy Sign: One of the last days signs is the sign of famines.  You will read about this in Matthew 24:7, Mark 13,8 and in Luke 21:10.  Haiti has seen its share of famine brought on by the massavie hurricanes that sweap across their nation.  The flood waters not only displaced hundreds of thousands of people, but the flood waters wiped out most of their crops.  This 7.0 earthquake has brought on another type of famine and the people in Haiti have no water, food.  Nations around the world are trying to bring in supplies but it very slow.  Meanwhile all these people have been without food or water for three days now.  In Luke 21:25 Jesus tells us “and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity”.  If you have watched any of the news footage on this disaster you can see how complex this problem has become.

Prophecy Sign: Revelation 6:6  Jesus shows us that the price of food is going to skyrocket in the last days, so much so that a person will be working all day long for a hand full of wheat or barley.  We know that famines are coming and we now know what will brings on these famines.  Floods, droughts, pestilences, quakes, strange weather, and war among other things.  Our generation is living in a time when we are now starting to see our food supplies declining while the population of the world is increasing, and this has started to drive up the prices of food.  Tack on the natural disaster that kills off the crops and the prices climb even higher and faster.  Months ago I warned you to watch how many crops are destroyed in the near future.  Take Florida for example. “TAMPA – Thirty percent of Florida's crops may have been lost in the cold snap, Florida's agriculture commission says, but for now it appears that the Bay area's strawberries avoided catastrophe.  Overall, certain crops in Florida were whacked hard by the sub-freezing temperatures, while others lucked out. Still, Florida Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Charles Bronson said the crop losses probably run into the hundreds of millions of dollars.”  Florida isn’t the only State that has a huge lose in crops.

12 Signs That 2010 Is Going To Be A Really, Really Bad Year For The Democrats And The Obama Administration

The 2010 election is still almost 10 months away, but already every indication is that if the election was held today, the Democrats would suffer a crushing defeat.  So will things get better for the Democrats by the time election day rolls around?  Well, actually the truth is that things are only likely to get worse for the Democrats and the Obama administration in 2010.  As the U.S. economy continues to fall apart, and as health care and national security continue to take center stage on the national scene, an increasing number of voters are likely to become disenfranchised with the Democratic Party.  The following are 12 signs that 2010 is going to be a really, really bad year for the Democrats and the Obama administration….

#1) Health care "reform" has been a total nightmare for Obama and the Democrats.  The majority of Americans have been horrified to learn that the plan put forward by the Democrats will make purchasing health insurance mandatory, will raise taxes, will give the government unprecedented control over health care decisions, will result in much fewer health care choices for the average American and will push U.S. government deficits through the roof.  Approval ratings for the health care "reform" bill have been hovering in the 30s, and considering that this is the centerpiece of the Democratic agenda, this is a really, really bad sign for Obama and the Democrats.

#2) In fact, more Americans than ever are sick and tired of the financial mess that the U.S. government is getting us all into.  The truth is that the U.S. government is drowning under an absolute mountain of debt and all of the spending that Barack Obama is doing is only making it worse.  To finance this debt, the U.S. Treasury has been forced to issue so many new bonds that the rest of the world cannot possibly buy them all.  So who is buying them all up?  The Federal Reserve.  In fact, the Fed is now purchasing approximately 80 of all new U.S. debt.

#3) But even with all of this reckless government spending the unemployment situation in the U.S. is still absolutely brutal.  When even Wal-Mart is closing stores you know things are really bad.  Wal-Mart just announced this past week that it will close 10 money-losing Sam's Club stores and will cut 1,500 jobs in order to reduce costs.  So if even Wal-Mart has to shut down stores, what chance do other retailers have?

#4) In fact, some areas of the U.S. are a total economic nightmare at this point.  The mayor of Detroit recently said that the real unemployment rate in his city is somewhere up around 50 percent.  When things get that bad, the party out of power starts to look better and better.

#5) So just how bad are things when compared to past recessions?  During the 2001 recession, the U.S. economy lost 2% of its jobs and it took four years to get them back. This time the U.S. economy has lost more than 5 percent of its jobs and there is no sign that the bleeding of jobs will stop any time soon.  Those who do not have jobs are much likelier to consider voting for the party out of power.

#6) The reality is that more Americans are in financial trouble than at any point in recent times.  Americans are going broke at a staggering pace.  1.41 million Americans filed for personal bankruptcy in 2009 – a 32 percent increase over 2008.  This is not a trend that is going to help the Democrats.

#7) We are also seeing a record number of mortgage defaults.  According to a report that was just released, delinquent home loans at government-controlled mortgage finance giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac surged 20 percent from July to September.  In fact, things are such a mess at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that the Obama administration recently removed the caps on the amount of financial assistance that the U.S. government will be giving these two entities.  Whether or not Obama created this mess is not the issue.  What is the issue is that an increasing number of Americans are blaming him for this mess.

#8) In fact, many analysts believe that the the housing crash is far from over.  They say that a massive "second wave" of mortgage defaults is getting ready to hit the U.S. economy starting in 2010.  In fact, this "second wave" is so frightening that even 60 minutes is reporting on it.  When this second wave does hit, most Americans are going to place responsibility for it in the laps of the Obama administration.

#9) Now there is even concern that the recent global deep freeze could end up seriously affecting food prices in American supermarkets in 2010.  As the past several decades have clearly shown, Americans tend to vote according to how their pocketbooks are doing, and if food prices shoot through the roof that will not help Obama and the Democrats at all.

#10) In addition, recent polls indicate that the majority of Americans are so concerned about terrorism that they would be willing to sacrifice certain freedoms in order to feel safer.  Considering the fact that terrorism is considered to be an issue that greatly favors the Republicans, this has got to be very concerning to the Democrats.

#11) On the foreign policy front, Obama risks alienating the Jewish vote by continuing to insist that Israel give East Jerusalem to the Palestinians.  The truth is that the Jewish vote is crucial for the Democrats and Obama in places like Florida, and by taking such a hardline anti-Israel position, Obama is not winning any new friends in the Jewish community.

#12) Also, Barack Obama is continuing to push for a treaty with Russia that would reduce the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal to approximately 10 percent of the size that it was at the height of the cold war.  Such an irresponsible approach to national security is surely not going to win Obama and the Democrats many friends among moderate voters who are concerned about security issues.

Any way you cut it, 2010 is shaping up to be a very bad year for the Democrats.  Barack Obama's approval rating has already been plummeting like a rock, and there does not seem to be much hope of that turning around any time soon.  In fact, if the signs above are any indication, the 2010 election could end up being really, really good to the Republicans.  But with Obama still in the White House until at least 2012, will they be able to do much to clean up the mess?
