Sept. 27: A construction site is seen in Gilo, a Jewish settlement that Israel erected on land it captured in the West Bank in a 1967 war and annexed unilaterally as part of its declared capital, Jerusalem. The United States is expressing deep disappointment in Israel's plans to build 1,100 new housing units in occupied east Jerusalem. Department spokesman Victoria Nuland also called the announcement counterproductive to efforts to restart direct negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians. The criticism Tuesday was matched by the European Union's foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton who called on Israel to reverse the decision.

Israel granted the go-ahead on Tuesday for construction of 1,100 new Jewish housing units in occupied east Jerusalem, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ruled out any freeze in settlement construction, raising already heightened tensions after last week's Palestinian move to seek U.N. membership. Israel's Interior Ministry said the homes would be built in Gilo, a sprawling Jewish enclave in southeast Jerusalem. It said construction could begin after a mandatory 60-day period for public comment, a process that spokesman Roi Lachmanovich called a formality. The announcement drew swift condemnation from the Palestinians, who claim east Jerusalem as their future capital. The European Union's foreign policy chief in Brussels, Catherine Ashton, also said that the decision "should be reversed."
The Palestinians have demanded that Israel halt all settlement construction in east Jerusalem and the adjacent West Bank — territories captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war — as a condition for resuming peace talks. Since capturing east Jerusalem, Israel has annexed the area and ringed it with about 10 Jewish enclaves which are meant to solidify its control. Gilo, which is close to the Palestinian city of Bethlehem, is among the largest, with about 50,000 residents. Israel's annexation of east Jerusalem has not been internationally recognized. Saeb Erekat, the chief Palestinian negotiator, said the Israeli decision amounted to "1,100 no's to the resumption of peace talks."
The Irish Times Sept. 28, 2011 said, "Mr Netanyahu said there was nothing new in the Gilo decision and he did not plan to interfere to block the construction. “We plan in Jerusalem. We build in Jerusalem. Period. The same way Israeli governments have been doing for years – since the end of the 1967 war.” EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton expressed “deep regret” that Israeli settlement plans were continuing. She said the expansion of settlements threatened “the viability of an agreed two-state solution” and “should be reversed”.

I quote, "A financial trader in London caused a storm of outrage by suggesting that world leaders cannot do anything to prevent a global market collapse, saying that investment bank Goldman Sachs ruled the world." When you watch the video below you will hear him say, within the next 12 months the saving of millions of people will vanish, and this is just the beginning. He says, they know the market is toast, they know the stock market is finished. He tells us they don't care what happens to the Euro and they are moving their money into safer places like the US dollar but it isn't going to work. When you hear what trader Alessio Rastani says and then you read Daniel 2:43, which tells us this last world empire will not hold together, you sense Jesus is showing us things that will soon take place within the European Union, which is the fourth kingdom God showed Daniel in verse 43.
The world is coming apart at the seems and everything that is taking place is leading to one thing. What is that? The start of the 7 year tribulation is coming sooner than you may think.
Bernanke calls unemployment a 'national crisis'
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — The nation's weak labor market was "a national crisis" that required attention from the White House and Congress, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said Wednesday. "We've had close to 10% unemployment now for a number of years, and of the people who are unemployed, about 45% have been unemployed for six months or more. This is unheard of," Bernanke said in a question-and-answer session following a speech in Cleveland. He called for policies "that could help them find work, train for work and retain their skills." Bernanke also urged policy makers to consider "strong housing policies to help the housing market recover." Better housing policies would "clearly be very useful," and would allow the low mortgage rates stemming from easy Fed policy to have more effect and help the economy recover"
