Afternoon update on prophecy signs for March 5, 2010-Rev. chapter 17/ Gangs/More quakes/Turkey and Ezekiel 38/Obama and peace talks/ April 5, 2010

Prophecy Sign: In Psalm 83 we see many nations coming against Israel in the last days.  Saudi Arabia is listed as one of those nations that will be attacking Israel.  I have told you in the past that the Psalm 83 war will be a religious war over the city of Jerusalem.  Today we see signs of this soon to be fought war.  Always keep in mind what the Prophet Zechariah said about Jerusalem becoming a burdensome stone.  Soon the Saudi’s will join Syria and the PLO along with other Arabs nations in trying to destroy the tiny nation of Israel.  Here is some news that shows the handwriting on the wall.  “A Saudi cleric announced Monday on his television show that he will visit Jerusalem next week to bolster Muslim claims to the city. If Sheik Mohammed al-Areefi goes ahead with his plan, it would be an unprecedented trip for a prominent Saudi. Jerusalem is the third holiest site in Islam, but most Muslim countries — including Saudi Arabia — observe a strict boycott of Israel and ban travel there. Al-Areefi told his viewers Sunday on the religious satellite channel Iqra that the next episode of his show would be about Muslim claims to Jerusalem and Palestine. Al-Areefi said he would visit the city next week, though he did not specify when.”

Prophecy Sign:  1 Thessalonians 5:3 is the prophecy that tells us sudden destruction will come at a time when they are calling for Peace and safety.  Here is come news backing up this prophecy.  “VP Farouk al-Shara and President of the Belgian Senate Armand De Decker discussed on Monday prospects of developing Syrian-Belgian relations, the Syrian-EU relations and the latest developments in the region. During the meeting, De Decker expressed appreciation of Syria's regional and international policy. FM Al-Moallem said Israel's continuation of settlement, Juadization of Jerusalem and violation of international laws impede peace in the region. He stressed the European Union's important role in peace process and in pressing Israel to comply with peace requirements.”

Then he wrote a book, "It's All About God: Reflections of a Muslim Atheist Jewish Christian," on the plethora of religions that Americans are increasingly sampling.”  “In a world in which sectarian divisions fuel some of the most violent and dangerous confrontations, the interfaith movement — once thought as irrelevant — has emerged as a force in American religion like never before.”  This may sound like a good idea but Jesus told us there is only one way to God and that way is by being born again in Jesus Christ.  Many religions have already tossed out sound doctrine just as Timothy had warned. Look for this movement to keep growing because the bigger it gets the more doctrine Christ gave us will disappear.

Prophecy Sign: Ezekiel chapter 38 shows us Turkey will join with Russia , Iran and many Muslim nations and try to wipe out Israel.  Read what the leader of Turkey stated, “Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday addressed the heightened tension in Jerusalem, saying that Turkey will come to the defense of Muslims around the world, according to a report on CNN-Turk. "We cannot be indifferent to the problems of the Islamic world of Jerusalem," said Erdogan at a ceremony to mark the opening of an Arab-language television and radio company. "Our task is the integration with the Western world but we did not turn our back to the East," Erdogan continued. "Arabs and Turks are brothers and we share the same values."  “The Turkish prime minister also said that the situation in Gaza is inhumane. "We cannot watch the murder of children in Gaza with indifference," he said. "We worry about the Gaza children but our hearts are also for the children of Haiti and Chile."  Once again we see Jerusalem at the center of trouble at Zechariah 12:3 stated it would be.  I am confident when Israel wins the next war against her bordering nations that Turkey will take revenge and move against Israel just as we are warned in the Ezekiel war.

On December 8, 2009 I gave you a warning that Obama may force his will on Israel.  This is part of what I wrote you. “Below I am supplying a part of the speech that Dr Brzezinski, a top Obama advisor, gave at the Chatham House. In it below, at about 5min and 20 seconds in, he describes the nations of the world, all agreeing, to participate in the push to wrest Jerusalem from Israel.  He states emphatically that all the nations of the world (6min 26 sec.) will back up this effort.  At 8:22 in this video clip below, Brzezinski talks about the demand to divide up Jerusalem. He ends his talk with a joke, saying that if the West's plan of how to make peace is wrong, we'll be no worse off than we are now.  It's not funny, because maybe HE won't be worse off, but Israel will have had it's limbs amputated, been downsized, broken up and carved out, and Israel could not survive having a PLO terror state inside of our borders, having the Arabs in rocket target fire distance of our major international airport, and being a country that at one point is only 9 miles wide and can be cut in half at the Mediterranean Sea. Add to this, the by-now famous video of Barak Hussein Obama's advisor and staff member Samantha Power, who alludes to an invasion of Israel by the USA and Western forces to enforce their idea of peace.” The link will take you to my Dec. 8th post.

Now let’s take a look at what they are saying Obama may do. “U.S. President Barack Obama's demands during his meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last Tuesday point to an intention to impose a permanent settlement on Israel and the Palestinians in less than two years, political sources in Jerusalem say. Israeli officials view the demands that Obama made at the White House as the tip of the iceberg under which lies a dramatic change in U.S. policy toward Israel. Of 10 demands posed by Obama, four deal with Jerusalem: opening a Palestinian commercial interests office in East Jerusalem, an end to the razing of structures in Palestinian neighborhoods in the capital, stopping construction in Jewish neighborhoods in East Jerusalem, and not building the neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo”  Once again we see the U.S. turning away from Israel, and once again the focus is on Jerusalem.  If you have time go back and read the entire report from Dec. 8, 2009.  In any case we are hearing the call for peace and safety, we are hearing war signs, and Jerusalem is at the center.  All these things were written in prophecy and all of them are taking place in one generation just as Christ told us they would.
