Headlines: Grocery prices headed higher
as drought lingers
“Shoppers across the country should stand up and take notice of the Midwestern drought that has already hurt supplies of corn and soybeans. The drought will lead to higher supermarket prices for everything from milk to meat. How high will depend on what happens with rain and high temperatures in the Corn Belt in the next few weeks. “We’re at the cusp of seeing how severely this is going to impact consumer prices,” said Darrel Good, professor emeritus of agricultural and consumer economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The drought and heat, he said, have "already done permanent damage to the crops, but our concern is the outlook for the weather is not very good and we’re expecting a further deterioration.” If that happens, he continued, “Prices will go up ever higher and have more severe and long-lasting impacts.”

Headlines:Record Heat and Drought Signs of Solar Catastrophe?
NASA and the National Academy of Sciences has warned us of a coming 2012-2013 solar event that could possibly be the solar catastrophe that could spell disaster across the globe. As the sun approaches the 2013 solar maximum, researchers say solar activity is just beginning, large solar flares are erupting on a regular basis with ever increasing strength. Recently, the Sun ejected an X-class flare on Friday. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory spotted the summer’s first ‘X’ solar flare on Friday – a huge outburst from the sun right at the top of the scale. This came on the back of 12 ‘M’ flares in just six days, with a M6.1 flare knocking out radio signals across the planet on Thursday – hinting at the destruction the sun could reign on our technology if Earth takes a full blast across its blow. The sunspot group behind the flares – named as AR1515 – stretches across 118,681 miles (191,000km) of the sun’s surface. This makes it’s width more than 15 Earths set end to end, said NASA solar astrophysicist C. Alex Young. The biggest flares are known as ‘X-class flares’ based on a classification system that divides solar flares according to their strength.

Headline: State Department Removes Christian Persecution From Human Rights Report.
Before you begin to read this report I want to ask you a question that I am sure many of you will be asking once you read this report. The question is this. Why would the State Department remove the section on Christian persecution from the Human Rights report at a time when nation after nation in the Middle East are killing Christians?
"For the first time ever, the State Department simply eliminated the section of religious freedom in its reports covering 2011 and instead referred the public to the 2010 International Religious Freedom Report – a full two years behind the times – or to the annual report of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), which was last September and covers events in 2010 but not 2011.
Leonard Leo, who recently completed a term as chairman of the USCIRF, says
that removing the sections on religious freedom from the State Department’s Country Reports on Human Roghts is a bad idea.
Since 1998, when Congress created USCIRF, the State Department has been
required to issue a separate yearly report specifically on International Religious Freedom.
But a section reporting on religious freedom has also always been included in the State Department’s legally required annual country-by-country reports on human rights–that is, until now. And this is the first year the State Department would have needed to report on the effect the Arab Spring has had on religious freedom in the Middle East–had its reports, as always before, included a section on religious freedom."
Don't you think that people seeing what the State Department has removed concerning Christian Persecution is a clear signal to the people killing the Christians that it is a green light to keep up the persecution or maybe even increase it? This makes no sence at all unless there is more to it. If you are a Christian in a Muslim nation knowing what the State Department has done would you feel secure? Of course not. What the State Department has just done is hand Satan a major victory in the war against anyone who claims to be saved in Jesus Christ. Satan's attacks on the Church are getting worse and this goes hand in hand with the last day birth pains Jesus warned us about in Mark 13:8.

TEHRAN, IRAN (Worthy News)– There was mounting concern Tuesday, July 17, about the health situation of jailed and mistreated Iranian Pastor Behnam Irani after he became unconscious and was hospitalized, an official assisting him with advocacy said. The 41-year-old Irani, who Christians said was previously beaten by fellow inmates encouraged by prison officials, "continues to suffer from bloody stool, and within the last week was so sick that he became unconscious," explained Jason DeMars of the Present Truth Ministries advocacy group. "As a result he was finally allowed to go to the prison hospital" of the Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj city, some 20 kilometers (12 miles) west of the nation's capital Tehran, he told Worthy News. "It appears that what he was suffering with was not intestinal, but rather a bleeding ulcer," DeMars confirmed. He sent a letter to his group's supporters asking churches, prayer groups and Bible study gatherings to pray for the pastor. "We are thankful that he has been allowed to see a doctor and is being treated for his illness, but since the situation is so serious, we ask for your prayers for his healing. Jesus said [in Bible verse Mark 9:23] 'If thou canst believe all things are possible'," he wrote.

Headline: London braces for Israeli strike on Iran during 2012 Games
"Taking into account the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran during the 2012 Summer Games, the Olympic committee in charge of the London event has formed a special team to prepare for the contingency. According to the Hebrew daily Yedioth Ahronoth on Wednesday., the team — consisting of politicians, diplomats, security officials and organizing committee personnel — wrote in a report that such a strike was entirely possible. Yedioth reported that the team was also preparing for the possibility of an earthquake or volcanic eruption.
England is thought to be within the range of Iranian missiles and UK officials believe that a military confrontation between Jerusalem and Tehran could involve the country against its will. The special team listed a number of steps that would need to be taken in the event of such a conflict, among them: opening a special command center, providing secret safe houses for foreign leaders wishing to meet for diplomatic purposes, and preparing for emergency evacuations of dignitaries. The team said England would have to guarantee the safety of the athletes and the continuation of the Games, as well as make sure Israeli and Iranian athletes are kept away from each other."
I am sure that there are many of you who are new to my prophecy site who are reading this information and are not aware that Iran and Israel are shown in the Bible to meet head to head during the Ezekiel 38 war. Right now we are hearing rumors of war almost every other day. In the near future Iran will join forces with Russia and try to destroy Israel. This is for the new people. If Israel attacks Iran's nuclear plants it won't set off the Ezekiel 38 war but it will no doubt set the stage for the Psalm 83 war which has to take place prior to the Ezekiel war. The bottom line is this, rumors of war are flying all over the place and this is setting the stage to fulfill Christ's warning concerning the real wars that will follow.

I have been showing you how Syria has been engaged in a civil war, and how this war could jump start the Psalm 83 war. In any case I wanted to give you the latest news on this issue. Today's headline reads as follows: Assad's brother-in-law and top Syrian officials killed in Damascus suicide bomb. There are two important things about this report that I want to point out to you. First is that attacks against Assad during this week are in the Capital where the Syrian President is. Of course Damascus's fate is found in Isaiah 17:1 and Jeremiah chapter 49 where we see Damascus left in ruins. Syria's Assad must be pretty nerveous at just how close his enemy is to him. I would expect that soon Assad will do something major thinking his time is short knowing what has happen with the Syrian Defence Minister General Rajha and Assad's Brother-in-law. I want to meantion this again because Assad has stated that he will attack Israel if he is attack. I think the killing of Assad's Generals just put this attack one step closer! The second thing of importance is this. Syrian Defence Minister General Rajha was a Christian. It only stands to reason that Assad's enemies who are Muslims and, have planned on the destruction of Israel wanted to also kill off Rajha as a message to all Christians in Syria.
I quote, "The capital has seen four straight days of clashes pitting government troops against rebels – an unprecedented challenge to government rule in the tightly controlled capital. Rajha, a former army general, was the most senior Christian government official in Syria. Assad appointed him to the post last year. His death will resonate with Syria's minority Christian population, who make up about 10 percent of Syria's population and have generally stood by the regime.
Christians say they are particularly vulnerable to the violence sweeping the country of 22 million people, and they are fearful that Syria will become another Iraq, with Christians caught in the crossfire between rival Muslim groups." By the way why do you think Syria will fall? Because Syria is listed as well as Iraq as two of the nations that will try to wipe out Israel. No matter what happens in Syria over the next few months Syria will be attacking Israel. Assad could attack Israel as he promised once his back is against the wall. If Assad is killed than the Muslim's who hate Israel will take over as they just did in Egypt and join forces with all the nations listed in Psalm 83 and attack Israel.
