Many people over the years have asked me why I spend so much time trying to warned people to listen to Jesus Christ's call to salvation. The many hours I put into connecting the dots between current events and Bible prophecy so people can see the truth is well worth the time when I receive emails like the one I receive this morning. Jesus has blessed my heart knowing I have played a role in leading another one of His children back to Him. May I share my blessing with you?
Dear Frank
Having returned to Jesus after a decades of my back turned away, I see the light and the way. My life has gradually changed since 2006 and now my idol is Jesus. I'm not the best christian in the world, don't read enough Bible and struggle with private insecurities which are frankly irrelevant in the big picture. I hope Jesus will understand and not give me too hard a time over my past life as likely I haven't done a single thing that he wanted me to. As a new Christian I haven't to be honest done anything to help the disadvantaged, poor, hungry etc. However, I do plan to start involving myself in the Church that I've been attending for the last three years. I've been hesitant to become involved in one of the church organised bible homegroups only because if I don't find it stimulating I'll want to leave and not become ostracised. Being a member of the congregation only and helping out with e.g. soup run for Glasgow's homeless and helping at the City Mission seems more appealing than a bible/social gathering.
I watch a lot of selective GOD tv programming and have become more and more interested in the subject the book of Revelations, that I agree the Church's do not educate people about and seem unwilling to delve into. In all honesty I don't learn much to anything about the Bible in church, simply worship God and hand over my collection. I believe that is pretty typical.

Sorry about the long winded intro; anyway you'll be overjoyed to know that I've taken your prayer and hope very much that Jesus doesn't decide to leave me down here when making his list of people to be saved at rapture. Here's hoping and praying.

Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in your word that I must be born again in order to have eternal life. I believe and accept Jesus Christ as the Son of the living God, and that he died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness from my sins and have eternal life in the Name of my Savior Jesus Christ. I know this is the first step in our new relationship, and I ask you now Jesus to teach me the way to live my life for you, and please help and guide me so I will abide in you from this day forward. Jesus is the foretold SAVIOUR of the world, who is, who was, and who is to come. There were literally hundreds of prophecies or "forthtellings of future events" regarding this man, the messiah. These prophecies were written hundreds even thousands of years before Jesus Christ the man was born, predicting of his birth, life, ministry, death and ressurection in intricate detail. For the believer these truths help to solidify our faith and are very convincing proofs that Gods word is the truth. How else could the prophets have known the future in such detail if it were not for God speaking the very future through them…..Christ spoke concering this in Mark 13 when he said "So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time." Jesus being God knows the future and has the ability to tell us the future ahead of time. Likewise from the old testemant God said in Isaiah 42:8-9: "See, the earlier things have come to pass, new ones I now foretell; Before they spring into being, I announce them to you." And again in Isaiah 46:9: "I am God, there is no other; I am God, there is none like me. At the beginning I foretell the outcome; in advance, things not yet done."
Now standing on this premise, if what God has spoken is indeed the truth we should see the evidence. It is our belief at E.T.R.M. that from a purly evidential standpoint the evidence is overwhelming. Allow me to quote from Mr. Sir Lionel Luckhoo (1914-1997) is considered one of the greatest lawyers in British history. He's recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the "World's Most Successful Advocate," with 245 consecutive murder acquittals. He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II — twice. Luckhoo declared:

"I humbly add I have spent more than 42 years as a defense trial lawyer appearing in many parts of the world and am still in active practice. I have been fortunate to secure a number of successes in jury trials and I say unequivocally the evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is so overwhelming that it compels acceptance by proof which leaves absolutely no room for doubt."
I invite the believer as well as the skeptic to investigate these claims in the same manner the Mr. Luckhoo did. Simply weigh all of the evidence, and come to your own verdict. There are only two options available. Either Jesus Christ is exactally who he claimed to be, or he is not, but whatever your personal outcome may be, I hope its done thoughtfully, and with the utmost integrity of heart, for the implications on how you handle the Son of God are staggering!
