Noah’s Ark

Prophecy Sign: Matthew 24: 37-39 concerning what the last generation would be like just prior to His second coming. In verses 37-39 Jesus shows us our generation would be just like that of Noah’s. This generation turned from God and followed their own lusts and became evil people. We know part of Noah’s generation troubles came on them when they turned to homosexuality. How do we know this? Notice that Jesus compared Noah’s day to Sodom and Gomorrah and then linked it to the time of his return. I quote our Lord.

Luke 17: 25-30. “But first must He [Christ] suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30“Even thus shall it be in the Day when the Son of Man is revealed.”

On June 25, 2013 via The Washington Times we witnessed another example of how our society is becoming just like Noah’s generation.  I am referring to the US military.  “The Pentagon on Tuesday toasted gays in the military, with a top adviser to President Obama declaring the country is “safer” now that homosexuals may serve openly.”  “It was the Defense Department second annual gay pride gathering since September 2011, when Mr. Obama signed the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” a ban on gays serving openly in the military implemented during the Clinton administration. This year’s 35-minute event in the Pentagon auditorium was more low-key and shorter than last year’s pride event, which featured a gay Marine officer, an Air Force lawyer and a lesbian West Point graduate.  Wednesday’s speakers were assembled by a new group, DOD Pride, and featured three senior officials, topped by Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel.”

Satan must be laughing at America as he won another victory in the war of morals. The AP report filed on June 26, 2013 said, “In a major victory for gay rights, the Supreme Court on Wednesday struck down a provision of a federal law denying federal benefits to married gay couples and cleared the way for the resumption of same-sex marriage in California.”  Keep in mind, none of these reports should take you by surprise. Why?  Because Jesus forewarned us that our generation would be just like Noah’s and Lot’s generation.  There are two very important things to take away from what happened in America on the 26^th of June.  The first thing is, you just witnessed how Christ’s words are coming to pass concerning our generation and second, the victory Satan won will be short lived as Christ will destroy not only Satan but everything that Satan has done to down grade the word of God. If you are a Christian, now is the time to pray for all the gay couples who have chosen to embrace same sex marriage.  What the gays see as a victory is a death sentence for the unsaved soul unless there is repentence.  Look at what 1Peter 5:8 says.  “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”.  There is no question Satan has placed one of his targets on the gay community.  Soul after soul will be case into the lake of fire along with Satan unless they turn away from the belief that it is okay to openly sin against God with no judgment to follow.  Christ is quick to hand out His mercy and grace for anyone who asks but, if there is no repentence don’t expect forgiveness.
