My heart hurts today seeing this news of a Christian Brother being killed by people who claim they know God. I will not post the video of this killing in respect of my Brother in Christ who is today standing beside our Lord in Heaven. I am amazed at the real strength in this photo and, it is not the Muslims who killed this man but the man who gave his life for Christ. I have a question for the masked man who just took a life which the Lord Jesus Christ created. Do you think your mask will hide your face from Christ? I tell you, repent from what you did or a worse hate awaits you.

The Lord shows us people will be working all day just to buy a quart of wheat, this shows us that the price of food went through the roof. We also know from Matthew 24:7 that pestilence will be a major problem during the last days. There are many diseases that are killing off crops, but the other form of pestilence besides disease is, (insects), insects will also be wiping out crops around the world. Below is just one of the signs of pestilence. In many of my posts I cited reasons why food prices would climb. I said that droughts, intense heat, floods, pestilence, and war are some of the reasons. I can see from the news that Libya is facing some of these issues.

Headline: Maize disease to cause food shortage
"Kenya will be facing an acute food shortage in the coming months due to the mysterious maize disease which has affected 50 percent of the crop countrywide. Already Transnzoia and Uasin Ngishu Counties which produce 80 percent of the maize consumed in the country have lost over 50 percent of the produce to the disease. This came as the parliamentary committee on agriculture and Mps drawn from South Rift demanded compensation from the government over the losses. The Mps attributed the problem to the importation of contaminated grains by unscrupulous traders eager to make high profits. According to the legislators, the country stood to loose billions of shillings in the scam as more maize needed to be imported to address the deficit caused by the disease. According to Konoin Mp Julius Kones he had confidential information from KEPHIS which indicated that the disease was seed borne and not soil borne as the government was advocating. “Government agencies have tried to sway the debate towards a problem with soil which is an attempt to cover the real culprits for out problems,” He said that area leaders were ready to lead the farmers in major demonstrations if the matter was not addressed."
One thing is very clear. If you lose 50% of your food source what do you think is going to happen to price of this food? Prices will go through the roof which of course will only add to the problems these starving people have already. I hope you are taking notice that nation after nation is facing some type of disaster that is destroying crops and as a result prices keep going up. Are you still doubting what Jesus warned us in Revelation 6:6?

Headline: Sex bug growing resistant to drugs, WHO warns
GENEVA (AP) — A potentially dangerous sexually transmitted disease that infects millions of people each year is growing resistant to drugs and could soon become untreatable, the World Health Organization said Wednesday. The U.N. health agency is urging governments and doctors to step up surveillance of antibiotic-resistant gonorrhea, a bacterial infection that can cause inflammation, infertility, pregnancy complications and, in extreme cases, lead to maternal death. Babies born to mothers with gonorrhea have a 50 percent chance of developing eye infections that can result in blindness. "This organism has basically been developing resistance against every medication we've thrown at it," said Dr. Manjula Lusti-Narasimhan, a scientist in the agency's department of sexually transmitted diseases. This includes a group of antibiotics called cephalosporins currently considered the last line of treatment. "In a couple of years it will have become resistant to every treatment option we have available now," she told The Associated Press in an interview ahead of WHO's public announcement on its 'global action plan' to combat the disease.

The list of fish dying keeps growing.
Headline: Something fishy’s going on in a fishing port in Japan, literally – and tons and tons of it too!
There are tons and tons of dead sardines washing up on the shore, and not only is the sight disturbing, but the huge amount of dead fish is literally smelling up the entire surrounding area. According to the news, the dead fish started washing up around noon of June 3rd, and as of early afternoon on June 4th, the situation still remained pretty much out of control. The amount of dead sardines that has washed up is thought to total several dozen metrics tons, so you can imagine how bad the smell of rotting fish must be.
Hundreds of crown-of-thorns starfish found on a beach in southern Japan in January stranded themselves because they were starving, say researchers. More than 800 were discovered on a 300m stretch of sand on Ishigaki island. The starfish population "outbreak" was first identified in 2009, when masses of juveniles were seen feeding on the island's outer coral reef. The coral-eating starfish then took three years to move onto the beach where they perished.

“JERUSALEM THE BURDENSOME STONE”

"Would you barcode your baby? Microchip implants have become standard practice for our pets, but have been a tougher sell when it comes to the idea of putting them in people. Science fiction author Elizabeth Moon last week rekindled the debate on whether it's a good idea to "barcode" infants at birth in an interview on a BBC radio program. “I would insist on every individual having a unique ID permanently attached — a barcode if you will — an implanted chip to provide an easy, fast inexpensive way to identify individuals,” she said on The Forum, a weekly show that features "a global thinking" discussing a "radical, inspiring or controversial idea" for 60 seconds . Moon believes the tools most commonly used for surveillance and identification — like video cameras and DNA testing — are slow, costly and often ineffective. In her opinion, human barcoding would save a lot of time and money. The proposal isn’t too far-fetched – it is already technically possible to "barcode" a human – but does it violate our rights to privacy? Opponents argue that giving up anonymity would cultivate an “Orwellian” society where all citizens can be tracked. “To have a record of everywhere you go and everything you do would be a frightening thing,” Stanley, senior policy analyst at the American Civil Liberties Union, told the Daily News. He warned of a “check-point society” where everyone carries an internal passport and has to show their papers at every turn, he said."
