Just yesterday I gave you a warning to watch for the entire world to come against Israel.  Israel’s oldest ally the United States is now showing more signs she is also turning away from Israel.  Here is one of those signs.  “Israel's largest daily newspaper, Yediot Ahronot, reported on Wednesday that the Obama Administration is threatening Israel to either apologize to Turkey over its bloody interception of a Gaza aid flotilla last year, or risk strained ties with Washington. 

Israeli diplomats in Washington told the newspaper that they had received a communique from US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton insisting that the rift between Israel and Turkey was harming American interests in the region, such as affecting regime change in neighboring Syria.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan demands that Israel publicly apologize for intercepting a May 2010 "humanitarian aid" flotilla that tried to break Israel's maritime blockade of the Gaza Strip. The flotilla had set sail from Turkey, and nine Turkish nationals were killed when they and others aboard the largest ship, the Mavi Marmara, attacked the Israeli boarding party.

"God forbid we apologize," declared Israeli Vice Prime Minister Moshe Ya'alon at a conference of Likud activists on Tuesday.

Demonstrating a firm understanding of Israel's regional antagonists, Ya'alon, a former IDF chief, noted that Erdogan "will never let go, even after we apologize."

 Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has turned down U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s requests and will not apologize to Turkey for the IDF’s counter terrorist action that killed nine IHH terror activists in the flotilla clash a year ago, Army Radio reported Wednesday.”  “Prime Minister Netanyahu’s refusal to apologize is bound to anger the Obama administration, but its foreign policy clout continues to be diminished. President Barack Obama so far has failed to keep the Palestinian Authority from moving ahead with its proposal to ask the United Nations to recognize it is an independent country, a move that would officially negate the moribund American-led diplomatic process.”

“Food Prices Could Hit Tipping Point for Global Unrest”

When food shortages and rising prices drive people to desperation, social unrest soon follows. It’s as true today as it was in 18th-century France. According to a new analysis of food prices and unrest, the 2008 global food riots and ongoing Arab Spring may be a preview of what’s coming.

“When you have food prices peak, you have all these riots. But look under the peaks, at the background trend. That’s increasing quite rapidly, too,” said Yaneer Bar-Yam, president of the New England Complex Systems Institute. “In one to two years, the background trend runs into the place where all hell breaks loose.”

Bar-Yam and his colleagues are hunters of mathematical signals in social data: market trends and economic patterns, ethnic violence, Hollywood movies. In their latest expedition, described Aug. 11 in the prepublication online arXiv, they focus on the 2008 food riots and the Arab Spring, both of which followed year-long surges in basic food prices.

The researchers are hardly the first to portray food problems as a spark that inflames social inequality and stokes individual desperation, unleashing and amplifying impulses of rebellion. The role of food prices in triggering the Arab Spring has been widely described. Their innovation is a pair of price points on the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization’s food price index: about 215 in current prices, or 190 when corrected for inflation.

It’s at those points where, on a graph of food prices and social unrest between 2004 and 2011, unrest breaks out. But whereas they were crossed by price jumps in 2008, Bar-Yam and colleagues calculate that the underlying, steady trend — driven primarily by commodity speculation, agricultural crop-to-fuel conversion and rising prices of fertilizer and oil — crosses those points between 2012 and 2013.

“Once we get there, the peaks aren’t the problem anymore. Instead it’s the trend. And that’s harder to correct,” said Bar-Yam. At that point, widespread political unrest and instability can be expected, even in countries less troubled than those in North Africa and the Middle East.

Prophecy Sign: Most of you know by now that the civil unrest that started in 2010 in Europe, and then spread to the Middle East nations in 2011 have taken place in part over the cost of food. China's move up the global food chain impacts American consumers too: The Department of Agriculture warns grocery prices will rise 4 percent this year. China's demand forces Americans to pay more for products dependent on soy and corn like cereal, vegetable oil, meat and milk.”

If you are unaware, the weird weather patterns have been responisble for much of the crop destruction. In the news today we are told LaNina is coming back. The headline reads: “The swirl of LaNina is taking aim at crops in Brazil, Argentina” What is LaNina? LaNina is the cooling of water in the Pacific Ocean. As the water cools is has adverse effects on land masses. Now for the report:

“A pesky weather system is preparing to wreak havoc on grain production from South America by minimizing nourishment for crops in the form of rainfall, according to published reports.

Oil World reports the fourth quarter of this year might see a manifestation of La Niña, which would impact key-growing regions of two nations. Southern Brazil and central Argentina would be prone to parched and stressed crops should "The Little Girl" exact its wrath as it has previously.

Central Brazil already is dealing with dry weather, which has been impacting the region since the beginning of the second quarter. La Niña would deliver significant amounts of rainfall to the region in December, but that might be too late to assist the crops' development, according to Bloomberg, which cited the German publication.

"At the moment, sea-surface temperatures are near normal across the equatorial Pacific Ocean, but there are indications that anomalies are developing, creating La Niña conditions and probably reducing rainfall in some important oilseed- and grain-growing areas of South America," Oil World reports.

“STOCKHOLM — Swedish police say unrest erupted overnight in Goteborg, the country's second largest city, as several officers were attacked by youths hurling rocks and Molotov cocktails. Police say no one was seriously injured in the attacks, but at least two police officers reported burned eyes after being targeted by a green laser light. It was not immediately clear what provoked the unrest, but police say two people were arrested for vandalizing a streetcar just before midnight Tuesday and this could have sparked the melee.”

Germany has also seen a rash of violence from vandals” “BERLIN, Germany — Berlin police are offering euro5,000 ($7,180) to anyone able to help them find vandals who set fire to 18 cars parked in residential neighborhoods overnight. It was the second consecutive night in Berlin to see a jump in arson attacks, after vandals torched 11 cars on Tuesday evening. Berlin police believe the arsons are politically motivated, possibly linked to Leftist extremists. They have rejected any links to the riots in London. The Wednesday attacks bring the number of cars burned so far this year in Berlin to more than 300 — more than the total torched in 2010.”

If you recall from my post yesterday I showed you how so many nations are in the process of rioting as they try to oust their leaders. Syria, Libya, and Yemen are getting the most attention in the news right now because many people are dying. Now a new worry that India may soon follow the path taken by so many Middle Eastern nations. Once of today’s headlines reads as follows: “India faces risk of its own Arab Spring over anti-graft protests”. “NEW DELHI: An anti-corruption movement led by the feisty 74-year-old social activist Anna Hazare is snowballing into one of the biggest challenges in decades for the ruling Congress party and if not contained risks sparking India's own version of an Arab Spring revolt. While no one is expecting an Egypt-like overthrow in the world's biggest democracy, a galvanized and frustrated middle class and the mushrooming of social networking sites combined with an aggressive private media may be transforming India's political landscape.” If ever there was a time when this planet was being primed to receive a one world leader, who will seem to bring peace and restore hope for the world that time is now.  I can assure you that the host of nations crying out for new leadership is by means no mistake.  The Antichrist's kingdom is being prepared via the nations violence, and despair over their failing economies.  Will we see more nations begin to go into unrest?  Jesus told you that these last days would be like birth pains, you can therefore be assured more unrest is on the way.
