I recently spoke with a man who told me he was one of the 144,4000 as seen in the book of Revelation.
Revelation chapters 7 and 14 provide us with the exact details of who these 144,000 people are. The person I spoke with told me that the Holy Spirit told him he was one of the 144,000. I told him unless he fits the exact details of chapter 7 and 14 of the Revelation he could not be one of those 144,000 . The first thing I asked the man was are you a real Jew? He told me that is not what the bible really teaches. He man told me this Jewish person God talks about is a spiritual one not a real one. The next thing I asked the person was does he have the seal of God on his forehead as seen in Revelation chapter 14. He told me that that mark is in the forehead not on the front. I then asked if he was a virgin as outlined in chapter 7 of the Revelation? He told me the word virgin does not mean having sex with a women.
I want to point out exactly what the Greek text says in Rev. 7 and Rev. 14 so you know what this person said was no doubt not from the Holy Spirit. The first photo to the left you will see what it says in the Greek. Notice first as underlined in red it says upon the mountain of Zion. If you would believe what the man I spoke with you would have to say in the mountain because you just can’t change a Greek word to fit what you teach. Please notice as underlined again in red it says upon the foreheads. It does not say in the foreheads.
Please notice in the second photo below in Rev. chapter 14 verse 9 in the Greek on the left hand side. In speaking about the mark of the beast, it shows us the mark will be placed on the foreheads and on the hands. It does not say in the forehead or in the hand. The reason why Jesus marks these special male virgin Jews with His seal is for everyone to see who they are by this seal on the forehead. It is the same with the mark of the beast. His mark on the forehead and on the hand is for everyone to see it.
If anyone tells you he is one of these chosen 144,000 he had better be a Jewish male from one of the 12 tribes of Israel just as it states in the scriptures. That means the real State of Israel not some spiritual one. And this man must be a real virgin not some made up spiritual virgin! Do you know what that means? It means that man has abstained from sex. Please see photo 3 below.
One thing is for sure, Jesus warned us about the false teaching that would come in the last days. People will make up all sorts of things that in the end will only lead people away from the truth as set forth in the scriptures. The bible means what it says. Why would the man I spoke to say the seal was in his forehead? It’s easy to get people to think you are something you really aren’t by distorting the word of God. This is the reason why it is so important to study the word so you will know when a fake has arrived!
