Jesus made it clear that there would be a generation that would witness all the signs of the last days happening at the same time. That generation is ours. These signs aren’t scattered over centuries — they’re converging right now. Just take a look at some of the signs Jesus and the prophets warned us about:
- Israel is reborn as a nation (fulfilled in 1948) — a prophetic cornerstone.
- The world is turning against Israel, especially during conflicts like the war against Hamas.
- Knowledge has rapidly increased — we’re living in the most technologically advanced era in history (Daniel 12:4).
- We’re known as the “drug generation” — with global addiction, mental health crises, and pharmaceutical dependence at all-time highs (Revelation 9:21 speaks of “sorceries,” translated from the Greek word pharmakeia).
- Wars and rumors of wars dominate headlines — from Ukraine and the Middle East to rising tensions in the Pacific.
- The Euphrates River is drying up, just as Revelation 16:12 foretold.
- China has announced an army of 200 million, aligning with Revelation 9:16.
- Earthquakes, major storms, and natural disasters are increasing in frequency and intensity.
- Violence and lawlessness are rising globally — just like the days of Noah and Lot.
- Pestilences and new diseases continue to emerge, including global pandemics.
- A record number of Jews are ascending the Temple Mount, with growing calls to rebuild the Third Temple.
- Travel has exploded globally, fulfilling Daniel’s prophecy that “many shall run to and fro.”
- Food prices are skyrocketing, with shortages and inflation impacting nations worldwide (Revelation 6:6).
- Global economies are shifting toward digital currencies, paving the way for a one-world economic system.
- Moral decline and the breakdown of the family are being celebrated, not corrected.
- Artificial intelligence and surveillance technology are setting the stage for global control and the mark of the beast system.
- The birth of a cashless society

Jesus said these signs would be like birth pains — increasing in frequency and intensity as the end draws near. If you’re seeing this, it’s not by accident. God is giving this generation every possible warning. The time is short, and the signs are undeniable. I could go on and on but I will finish with this, Jesus also warned our generation would be like Sodom and Gomorrah and Lot’s generation. Their generation were infamous for widespread sexual immorality and perversion (Genesis 19). We are seeing a redefinition and distortion of sexuality and gender on a global scale. The normalization — even celebration — of behavior the Bible clearly identifies as sin.
Today, our generation is witnessing: Perversion being promoted in media, schools, and even children’s content. There is no question now we are in those last days Jesus talking about. The only question is, will you believe him?
